Naoto woke up tired, grasping his head as he clumsily stood up. "Fuck, I'm tired."

The boy took off his blanket, rubbing his eyes. Those eyebags right underneath were getting bigger by the day. The boy yawned as he opened the door to his room, before heading to the bathroom.

"Bleh." Naoto looked at himself in the mirror, mimicking the sound of Vomit. "I look like shit. No wonder she keeps calling me a virgin." He picked up his toothbrush, gently brushing the hairs against his teeth.

The boy quietly sighed as he remembered yesterday's events. He looked at his fingers as the memory flashed before his eyes. He remembered finding the blood, but not the bodies. He remembered talking to Emi as they walked togheter. The memory made him blush a little bit.

He remembered smearing his finger with blood as he continously smelled it. And he remembered sliding his tongue against said finer, licking it clean as he garnished the delicious taste of blood for the first time.

"Snap out of it, weirdo!" Naoto gave himself a smack in the face with both hands, forcing himself out of his mind as he finished brushing his teeth, spitting the remaining liquid into the sink.

Naoto rushed to his room and opened his drawer, quickly putting on his pants as he ran downstairs, buttoning his shirt along the way. His parents were waiting downstairs, the food having been prepared already.

"Good morning, Naoto." Hana placed the dishes in front of his seat right as he was in the middle of sitting down before scooping the food onto the plate.

"Mum, I think it's too early for me to eat this much." Naoto chuckled as he stared down his filled plate. "Oh, Come on! You're growing. You need to eat a lot to get stronger." Hana laughed.

Naoto slowly munched on his food while keeping an eye on the clock. The amount of chewing he had to do to get the food in was definitely not helping his headache.

In the end, Naoto only managed to eat about half of the plate before standing up. "I'm sorry. It's really tasty, but I have to go already." Naoto said as he grabbed his backpack, rushing out the door without giving his mom a chance to say goodbye.

"Man. My head hurts." Naoto said. The thumping in his head refused to go away no matter how much time passed. It had been so long that he could ignore it to a degree, but sometimes it simply got too strong for him to ignore.

"I swear I'm going to collaps-"

"~Meow"

Meow? What the hell was that? Naoto stopped in his tracks as he looked around him. He could swear he heard a meow.

"~Meow"

There it was again! Naoto heard the sound coming from in-between two houses in the neighborhood. Naoto approached the source of the sound, quickly finding a small box.

"A... box?" Naoto said. He slowly reached out his hand towards the box, slowly sliding his fingers inside as he opened it carefully, making eye contact with the feline inside. "Oh. Hello there."

Naoto looked around him. There was no one nearby. The street surrounding his house was completely and utterly empty. Who could've abandoned this baby kitten?

Naoto looked down at the small kitten as it scratched its tiny claws on the cardboard box. He let out an audible sight, crouching down to grab the box. "Alright. Come here."

"Hey, Senpai. Where's that girl from yesterday?" Nagatoro asked. Naoto had been sitting alone in the Art room a minute ago. But good things were never meant to last as Nagatoro and the others stormed in, claiming the place as their own as they chatted and ate.

"I think she's busy today, so she's not coming." Gamo chuckled. "A girl was here yesterday? Nagatoro, are you sure he isn't two-timing you?"

"Shut up already. W-We aren't e-e-even dating." Naoto stuttered. "Do you all have to be so loud anyways? It's not exactly convenient for me today." Naoto said.

"Sorry, but the cafeteria is filled again, and this is the only place we can retreat to. You're gonna have to deal with us for a while." Gamo and the rest of the group chuckled.

"Man. I'm really not in the mood for this. They're so loud." He said, looking at the tiny box next to his backpack. "I can't believe I actually brought that cat here." Naoto said.

Suddenly, an idea flashed in his mind. "If I show you something cool, will you all at least tone it down a bit?" He asked. Nagatoro smirked at him. "Hmm... that depends on how cool it is."

Naoto picked up the small box, bringing it to the table. "I think you'll find it really cool. Open It." Nagatoro giggled as her hands inched closer to the box. "Sen-pai. There's no naughty stuff in here, is th-"

"...A KITTEN?!" Nagaotor screamed from surprise. "Don't scream so loud! You're going to burst my eardrums."

The kitten jumped out of the box, stretching itself out as it quietly meowed at the girls, staring them down.

"Where the hell did you find this cat?" Gamo asked as she gently scratched the kittens head. Naoto shook his shoulders. "I don't know. I just kind of found It in an alley. I didn't want to leave it there, so I brought it here."

"Mystery!" Yoshi yelled out as she joined in on petting the cat.

Nagatoro simply looked at the tiny feline, her eyes lit up in ecstacy. "It's so small!" The short and soft dark-brown coat of fur made it fluffy and comforting to touch as Nagatoro reached her hand out to gently brace it.

"You know, this cat..." She smirked, looking at Naoto. "Kinda reminds me of you. So lonely in a box with no friends. Poor Senpai-Kitten." She chuckled.

"Gato-Sensei!" Yoshi responded.

"I do not! Look like that cat!" Senpai pouted as the tiny kitten laid on its back and Nagatoro rubbed it's belly, causing it to purr as it's paws wiggled above itself in a trance of pure joy.

"But don't worry, Kitten Senpai. Nagatoro is here to save the day! Now you won't have to be lonely!" Nagatoro joked as she tickled the tiny kitten with her hands. The others girls instantly knew what would happen, instinctively turning their heads towards their Senpai.

And just as expected, there sat the bewildered Naoto, staring at Nagatoro with a mixed stare of confusion and embarrassment. The boy adjusted his glasses. "Don't say such weird stuff."

Nagatoro continued to play with the little kitten. "Paisen, why don't you come and pet it too? Or are you too embarrassed to do it in front of you?" Gamo chuckled.

Naoto looked behind him. "Huh?! O-Of course not! I have no problem with petting a cat. Even I can do it." Nagatoro smirked. "Oh? Really?" She picked up the cat, holding it in her arms like a baby, before reaching it put to Naoto. "Then just grab it!"

"...Alright, I'll do it." Naoto answered as he slowly extended his hand, grabbing the animal off of her as he held it in the air in front of himself. Naoto looked at the little kitten as it yawned, extending its paws. He noted the kittens small eyes alongside the black circles surrounding his eyes, making it seem like it was wearing glasses. From this distance... yeah, he could definitely see the resemblance.

"It's so cute." Naoto smiled, staring at the kitten. Despite the painful headache, having such a tiny animal in front of him calmed his nerves slightly. "Look at yo- yowch!" Naoto extended his finger to the cat, who suddenly bit into it out of curiosity. "Aw, you little rascal!" Naoto joked around as he scratched the kittens head. Naoto removed his finger from the cats head, noticing a red spot had suddenly appeared.

The boy looked at his finger, instantly noticing a few drops of blood coming out. "Are you alright, Senpai?" Nagatoro asked in a worried tone. Naoto shook his head in reassurance. "Don't worry. It's just a small bite."

But the boy had lied. Even if it was a small bite, he could clearly smell the scent of blood reaching his nostrils. Even if it was his own, it had a certain smell to it. It was a smell you couldn't get anywhere else. And from experience, Naoto also knew that it was a taste beyond any other form of enjoyment.

The boy stared at the cat in front of him as it meowed, stretching itself while still in Naotos gentle grasp. "You really are... so small." The boy thought to himself."

"See? Isn't it cute, Senpai?"

"..." The boy, immersed in his thoughts and tantalize by the delicious smell of blood didn't even register the girls words as he looked at the cat. It looked so small. So defenseless. So... vulnerable.

"Alright, Senpai! It's my turn! Give Senpai-Kitten back to me." Nagatoro smiled.

"..."

"Senpaii!"

"..."

"...Senpai? Are you okay?"

Naoto wasn't even hearing anymore as he continued to hold onto the kitten, his grasp unconsciously getting tighter.

"Come on, Senpai. Let go of the cat already. It looks like it wants to get off."

"..."

"Senpai! Can't you tell it's in discomfort? Let it go!".

"..."

The kitten slowly transfered from discomforted Meows to a desperate plea for help as Naoto began to squeeze the cat forcefully as it desperately wiggled around and struggled to get away from the boy. Naoto remained quiet, simply staring at the kitten, a single thought looming in his mind.

"What would your blood taste like?"

"Senpai! Let go already!" Nagatoro said, reaching out her hand to grab the kitten. She tried to gently pull it out, but Naoto had too strong of a grip on the kitten as it started convulsing in a mindless mixture of pain and panic, trying to flee this boy who was seemingly hurting it for no reason.

"Senpai! You're hurting it! Stop!"

"..."

"Drop the poor cat! What the hell are you doing?! You're going to kill it!" Nagatoro continued trying to pull Naoto's hands open to no avail as his grasp got tighter and tighter as the cat yelped in pain. If his grip kept getting tighter, it would only take a few more seconds for him to begin crushing bones inside the poor animal.

"Paisen! Let the thing fucking go!" Gamo stepped in, forcefully grabbing Naotos hand as she pried them open with all she had, causing the cat to fall into Nagatoro's hands as she managed to catch it.

The kitten crawled up to Nagatoro, shivering and meowing from fear as it dug its nails into her shirt, clinging to her and hoping she didn't let go. Naoto finally snapped out of his delusional mind, realizing what he was doing.

"What the hell, Senpai! What's wrong with you?!" Nagatoro said as she held onto the kitten, gently rubbing her hand against its fur for comfort as it whimpered.

"Fuck was that for, Paisen?!" Gamo asked as she looked at the boy dead in the eyes. Naoto looked around him, noticing that everybody was eyeing him. But despite what he had done, their looks were more of worry than hatred.

The girls knew what kind of person Naoto was to an extent, and they knew that the Senpai they knew wouldn't do this in a million years. "Paisen, are you alright?"

While Naoto could hear them now, their voices were still being drowned out by his awful headache which had now gotten even worse. The boy's body swung around where it stood, trying not to fall over. The bright lights didn't help at all, causing him to feel like he was about to be blinded.

Naoto's headache refused to calm down as his head thumped aggressively. Ever word the girls were trying to say to him sounded like they were being said from under the water. It all sounded muffled to him. All except for one voice.

"Kill it."

Naoto mumbled to himself in confusion, slowly turning his eyes to every direction, trying to find the source of the voice.

"Kill them."

"Naoto felt his entire body heat up. There was too much noise in this room! Nobody would shut up! The boy wanted to scream out to everyone to shut up as his eyes continued to look for the source of the voice. Why the hell did it sound so much clearer than the others?

"Kill. Kill."

"Senpai! Are you alright!"

"Paisen! What's going on?"

"Sensei!"

All these voices. It was too much for him. The boy turned around, grabbing his bag as he quietly walked out of the room. "I'm... so...rry. I have to... go." Naoto responded sluggishly as he exited the Art room, shutting the door behind him and leaving the girls in a state of confusion.

"It's so hot outside. I think I'm going to collapse." The boy stumbled his was home. Unlike the Art-Room, the streets were nice and quiet despite the overwhelming heat.

"I just need to make it home." Naoto said to himself as he walked trough the massive tunnel. The boy stopped, laying down on the wall of the tunnel to catch a breather. "Man, I'm exhausted. And...my head." The thumping, while not as aggressive as before, was still constnant. "So annoying!" The boy conplained as he slowly stood back up.

As he was about to reach the other side of the tunnel, a lonely boy, seemingly around his age, entered the tunnel, seemingly taking a walk. The boy stopped in his tracks and laid down to take a break from the hit nearly in the same spot as Naoto before him.

Naoto turned around to get a look at the kid. Apart from being slightly shorter, the boy had a very similar build to him. He was skinny and flimsy-looking, his small noodle-arms standing out the most. Seeing this young kid sitting so alone in the middle of a dark tunnel brought the memories of today back into his mind clearer than ever.

The boy reminded him of the small kitten from before. The one he had almost crushed to death, before luckily being forced back into reasoning by Gamo and Nagatoro.

Naoto couldn't stop thinking about the fact that the boy was all on his own. There seemed to be absolutely no one around to even check on him. In the very back of his mind, Naoto thought about, just like himself, he seemed like a very easy target.

"Kill him"

Naoto heard the same voice from the Art room again. Now that he didn't have the voices of the others to bother him, he could hear the voice clear as day.

"No one will know"

"Who's th-" Naoto was about to interrogate whoever was there, before realizing that he recognized the voice. The quiet and frantic tone. He instantly recognized the voice as his own. And it wasn't long before he realized something else.

If someone was randomly telling him to kill someone, why wasn't anyone around him reacting? The boy put two and two togheter. This voice wasn't an external one. It was all coming from within his own mind.

"Kill him."

But despite everything, it sounded so clear. Almost as if he was whispering to himself to do it. It was almost as if deep within, he wanted to do it.

Naoto looked at the boy once more. His subconscious continued to repeat the same two words repeatedly as he took a step forward, beginning to approach the boy.

"Yes... such... an easy target. Maybe I will..."

"Hachioji-Kun!" A slap on the neck caused him to jump from surprise as he instinctively turned around. "E-Emi?"

"Yo! What'cha doing?" The girl responded in a cherry tone. Despite having worn her school uniform each time they had met before, she was now sporting a completely different outfit. The young girl was wearing a thick hoodie, covering everything above her waist except for her head which was still styled with the exact same hairpins as well as gigantic headphones that went around the top of her head.

"N-Not much." The boy responded, turning back around. "I was just walking home from school." He chuckled nervously as the girl looked at him with that plastered-on smile.

"Oh, really? Mind if I accompany you?"

"Where were you today, anyways?" Naoyo asked Emi as they both walked back. Naoto had kindly taken her up on the offer to accompany him. The boy was extremely worried that without someone keeping a lookout on him, he'd end up getting himself in trouble.

"Oh! It's personal stuff. I'd rather you not know the ins and outs. It's kinda private." The girl giggled as Naoto gave her a look of slight confusion. "Ah... okay."

The two went along the sidewalk as Emi hopped around, switching her steps between the road and the sidewalk like an excited toddler. "By the way, Hachioji-Kun." The girl jumped in front of him.

Naoto stopped. He felt like a deer in the headlights as she stared him directly in the face with a smirk. "Do you... have a girlfriend?" She asked, getting a little flustered.

Naoto squeaked from surprise. "What? Why are you asking me this?" He said. The girl chuckled. "Oh. No reason. I'm just so interested to find out more about my senpai!"

Naoto swallowed, adjusting his glasses. "N-No. I don't have a girlfriend that I know of." He stuttered, the blood in his body rushing to his face. "Ah. I see." The girl answered. "Would you like one?"

What was with these awkward question? Naoto turned his head sidewards to avoid eye contact as he stuttered out a flimsy response. "I-I'm not sure. I don't even know how to answer that question."

Naoto looked at the girl, wondering why, despite the cat and the boy, he wasn't having any violent thoughts regarding her. Before he could even continue wondering, the girl tapped him on the shoulder.

"Well, I have to go this way! Bye!" The girl ran off, with Naoto waving her goodbye again as he took a different path.

The girl walked along for a few seconds, before turning around and taking her phone out as she walked quietly behind Naoto, making sure he didn't notice her.

"Hey, Fuji. Guess what?" The girl spoke on the phone quietly as the tired voice of a male came from the other side.

The man groaned. "What is it now, Emi?"

"I think today is the day! I didn't think it would take him so little time. Should I bring him? He looks like he could need our wise guidance" The girl excitedly said while giggling.

The man sighed once again. "Do what you want. Just don't make a mess again. You always leave me to clean up your shit."

"Of course, Fuji. I promise I won't do anything bad. I don't wanna picked apart by you later on." The girl responded as she hung up the call, continuing to follow the boy home.

"Naoto, we're gonna be away for the night. We left you some food in the fridge. Love, Mum."

Naoto placed the letter he had found back on the fridge. It seemed like today would be another day alone at home for him.

Naoto stared at his hand in front of him, remembering that this hand once had blood smeared all over it. "If only I had known how good it tasted back then. I shouldn't have let it gone to waste."

Naoto smacked himself in the face. "Shut the fuck up! Are you insane?" He said to himself, holding onto the sink. He looked in the mirror, seeing his sunken and tired eyes. Something was definitely wrong with him.

The memories of today flashed in his mind. He had almost killed the cat, and afterwards he had gotten halfway trough to committing murder before being stopped. Naoto looked at his hands. Just like that same day, they were shaking.

"What have I done?" Naoto asked himself, staring at the mirror. He was aggressive. Too aggressive. It made him think once more.

On that day, when those two died, there was no one nearby. No one but... him. "Was it... No! There's no way!" Naoto said. His head was working overtime with all the information as he looked himself in the mirror.

"You don't have to feel bad for them. They deserved it. Didn't it feel good?" Naoto could clearly hear his own mind taunting him. "Shut up! No! I don't want this!" The boy shook his head aggressively as he screamed at himself in the mirror.

"You know what you were thinking back there. You were thinking of killing them."

"No! Shut up! It's not me! I didn't do it!"

"You'd probably enjoy redoing it all again. If only you knew how you did it."

"SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" Naoto smashed his hand agains the sking, hurting himself badly and causing them to swell. "Shut the fuck up!"

"How can. I? This is all part of you. I'm not some outer being talking to you. I am you. And you know it's true. Don't you want to smell and taste the blood again? Wouldn't it be wonderful to get that feeling back?"

"SHUT! UP!!!!!!" Naoto screamed with full force at the mirror. It wasn't even one second later when the mirror suddenly shook, before shattering to pieces. Naoto jumped back, tripping and falling on his but. "What the fuck?!

The boy looked around the Room, bottles of shampoo, soap bars and everything else had been pushed and thrown around the room as if a small hurricane had suddenly caused havoc in the room.

Naoto stood up, looking at the mirror, shattered into thousands of pieces before his phone rang, scaring him half to death.

The boy picked up his phone, reading who it was that called him. "Emi?" He remembered her having asked for his contact info while they were walking here, but he never thought she'd call him so early.

"H-Hello?"

"Hey, Hey! Did you finally do it?"

"D-Do it? Do what?"

"You really are lightheaded, Senpai. Judging by the sound from your house just a second ago, it seems you finally discovered your 'big revelation'. Yay!"

"What? How do you know? And why are you outside my house?"

The girl snickered a bit, before hanging up. Naoto was confused for a second, before a scream from outside reassured him.

"HACHIOJI-KUN! LOOK OUTSIDE!" The girl said. Naoto slowly stood up, heading to the window, before opening it slowly.

He could clearly see Emi right under his house, waving at him. "Come on, Senpai. You probably want an explanation. Luckily, I'm the kind of person who likes to talk a lot."

Naoto sighed. Looking around his room. He didn't exactly consider this the best situation, but he thought that he didn't really have a better option. He turned back to the window, letting out a sigh. "I'm gonna get my parasol first."
