Kim Seokjin. A man who would forever be scorched into Teileo's memories. He, along with two others were the reason it had taken her more than four centuries to get back to her home. Why she still hid in the shadows and kept her interactions to a minimum. Why she was terrified to settle down for longer than a few years at a time. This man along with his two best friends had destroyed her.

Yet here he stood, dressed in a long-sleeved, silky, red shirt tucked into a pair of loose black slacks; he was still lean, his long arms corded with muscles that could be seen even hidden under the fabric of his shirt. His broad shoulders pulled back, and long neck held high. It was clear he still held some position of power by the way he carried himself. His eyes sweeping over the people in the area with something akin to kindness. But she knew better.

There was a reason such a beautiful face haunted her. He had taken her insecurities, the secrets and habits that made her, and twisted them into a weapon used against her. His dark grey eyes had been filled with nothing but glee as he tore her apart without so much as lifting a finger. His lips twisted into a snarl as he mocked her, brought her down to the dirt beneath his shoes and then kept going. That melodious voice cutting into her and leaving her far more wounded than any knife ever could.

He's taller now. She thought, her mind trying to grasp onto anything it could with his voice still ringing in her ears. His hair's not the same either. It was true, the inky black color that seemed to leech color from his face was gone, in it's place a faded pink that helped to soften his eyes, even if his eyebrows were dyed a lighter brown color. His plump pink lips were pulled into a gentle smile, transforming his flawless face further. She didn't know how to react to him. The image in her mind of a monster who tore through her mind and destroyed her family, not matching with the kind faced, gentleman in front of her. The confidence and comfort that he stood with were nothing new, but with it came a weight that seemed to pull down at his shoulders. Those dark grey eyes that flitted about, still showed the intelligence and cunning inside, but there also seemed to be a sadness to him. It was when he turned to look in their direction that she gasped, her fears manifesting the closer his gaze came to her. She could feel herself beginning to panic, her heart picking up it's pace and eyes skirting around to find an exit.

But suddenly her view was cut off by someone's body. The white-blonde and strange blue eyes reminding her to the presence of Kim Taehyung. She'd forgotten he was standing next to her, he'd moved in a way that his tall frame completely blocked her body. "Taehyung-ah!" Seokjin called, going ignored as his eyes bore into hers, but mouth not moving. "Tae-Tae-ah!" He gently put his hands on her shoulders and turned her around. Guiding her outside through a series of corridors and through several rooms, as if throwing off the trail of someone following them. His large, cool hands, never once leaving her, as they slowly guided her to safety. Leaving the calls of his name behind him. The path they took was familiar and soothing to her, knowing that it would lead them to the back gardens that her mother forced the children to tend to.

Preparing herself for the heartache and memories did nothing. For instead of her mother's beloved and well tended garden there was a tall structure made of glass and metal. The glass windows fogged over, not showing what it held. She'd seen these before, a greenhouse. A place to tend rare plants as well as keep them in different climates. It was intimidatingly large, it's shadow casting over the entirety of the back wall. The mountains and forest completely hidden behind it. The change did nothing to curb her panic, only reminding her of this strange parallel she'd fallen into where Kim Seokjin had pink hair and kind eyes.

Once outside, Taehyung didn't stop. He kept his hands on her shoulders as he led her away from the buildings. His silence keeping her from tipping into the panic swirling in her stomach. Gently pushing her towards the left where a surprisingly thick patch of trees grew. They walked for about 3km in silence. They'd made their way into an area that felt dark. There was no other way to describe it. The aura around this area of trees, felt heavy and oppressive, screaming at her to turn away and not look back. Death and danger clung to the woods around them, but as Taehyung whispered something (too softly for her to hear, but sounded like "carobanara"), and pushed her forward it was like a flip was switched. The oppressive atmosphere disappearing and leaving her feeling winded. They walked through the tree Taehyung had whispered to, the trunk shimmering and changing before her eyes. It was illusion magic at it's finest.

Upon stepping into a clearing, she didn't dare look up. Whatever horrible thing lay in front of her, she didn't know if she had the strength to face it. Taking a deep breath she centered herself. Looking up brought tears to her eyes and caused the storm within her to let go. The winds picking up and blowing behind them, the rain pelting down on the structure they'd just walked past. Her heart shattering as thunder boomed, rattling the glass structure she'd found so intimidating. The sound of people running around and yelling about the sudden storm lost to her as she stood there, staring.

Before her stood a carcass. It was was nothing but a shell of it's former glory.

The stairs before her were overrun with wild grass and hid the stone steps. The burnt stone roof and wooden boards scattered around them. The top floor of the building was gone, likely having caved in during the fire all those centuries ago. But the thing that hurt her the most was the missing door. The cherry red door that she had loved to sit against in the summer watching the world around her, was gone. A gaping hole left in it's place. She knew her eyes were changing color rapidly with her emotions, but she couldn't bring herself to care when she stood before the home that she'd grown up in, the one she'd help destroy all because of him.
