The family were relaxing, while watching the news TV, Shaggy and Scooby were eating their sub sandwiches, Muriel was on her rocking chair, with Courage fast asleep on her lap, while Eustace was on his chair, with a grumpy look on his face as usual.

"In other news, today is the first day of hunting season! Time for our annual contest to see who can blast the biggest deer!" the news reporter announced.

"Like, wow!" Shaggy exclaimed, although he wasn't a huge fan of hunting season, because he didn't like the idea of hunting innocent animals in their territory. Even though he was a meat eater, he preferred to think that the people who made the meat, made the animals' quick and painless.

It may sound ridiculous, but that's just how he felt. He felt that hunting animals for sport was just cruel.

Shaggy and Scooby then heard Eustace grumbled, as he got up and turned off the TV.

"Argh! Stupid TV!" Eustace complained, he got up, opened the door and went outside.

This woke up Courage, as he, Shaggy and Scooby stared at the door.

"Oh my," Muriel gasped.

"Was it something I said?" Shaggy spoke.

Courage's stomach hallowed with dread. What could the farmer be possibly be upset with this time?

Suddenly, fireworks sounded go off outside the house. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage got up from their seats, trotted towards the window to see what's going on.

Outside, they could see a plane with a sky banner that saids, 'Hunting Season, Biggest Deer Contest.'

"Whoa! I never knew that hunting was this big in Nowhere," Shaggy exclaimed. And like, a big deal too. He added to himself.

"Well hunting is a big part of Nowhere's history," Courage explained, remembering every year that it was always the biggest celebrations that held every year on the news, in Nowhere since he was a pup.

"Reh, it's kinda overrated if you ask me," Scooby replied, he never understand why human hunt for animals when it's their territory.

Eustace burst through the door, before slamming it, before he started to cry and wail like a baby.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage couldn't believe the sight. It was like watching a three year old toddler having a full blown temper tantrum.

"Eustace, is something the matter?" Muriel asked her husband, before turning her gaze to the trio, "I'm really getting worried. He usually likes big bass drums."

"I don't think this has to do with drums," Courage said, with a frown, knowing how much Eustace is beyond upset, when he throws those types of temper tantrums.

Eustace then begins to laugh manically, as he grabbed a white marker and beginning to draw himself, and another man on his shoes.

"Boys? That looks like Eustace's dead brother Horst!" Muriel pronounced.

"Rorst?" Scooby echoed.

Courage looked closely at the drawings, on the grumpy farmer's shoes, "I wonder what Horst has to do with all this?"

Eustace looked at his shoes, and begin play with them as he were a child, "Can't I come hunting with you? No! Please, big brother! No! Ah, come on! No, no, you puny little…"

He then begin to smash his shoe, with his other shoe. What had made Eustace this way?

"You have to wonder what's going through his mind," Muriel told the trio.

"I'm guessing his brother was an amazing hunter," Courage narrowed his eyes.

"RI'm also guessing he never let Rustace go hunting because he isn't man enough," Scooby said.

"Like I feel like this has to do more than just hunting. I mean remember when we celebrated Great Uncle Horst's birthday?" Shaggy pointed out, remembering when they had found a box in the backyard two months ago. Only to find it was cursed.

"You mean when he tried to open that cursed box?" Courage asked, "How could I not forget! It took 2 hours to get the farmer out of that box."

"Rhat was one creepy box," Scooby shudder at the memories. After that whole mess Scooby had taken that box far away as possible. He even went as far as throwing that box down an old well, where it would never seen daylight again.

A cry wail coming from Eustace caught Shaggy, Scooby and Courage surprise. As he started to pound on the floor and sobbing his eyes out.

"Eustace! You've got to do something to calm yourself down!" Muriel gasped.

"Like, Aunt Muriel is right man. Do something," Shaggy suggested.

Eustace immediately stop crying and declared, "I'm gonna do something, alright," he rushed upstairs for something that the trio don't know.

"Oh! Boys, you think something's getting Eustace a tad upset?" Muriel asked, with concern and confusion.

"Whatever it is, it can't be good," Courage replied, briskly. His fears rising.

"Scoob and I have been staying here for quite a while," Shaggy murmured, "And if there's one thing I know about my Uncle Eustace, is he always does these things for greedy reasons."

"Roh boy," Scooby groaned, having a feeling another dangerous adventure was about to happen again.

The trio then heard thudded steps coming from upstairs, turning their gaze, they saw Eustace coming down in a hunter's outfit and a big gun in his hands.

"Aha! Big Bob!"

The family stared at the farmer, disbelief in their eyes.

"Oh my!" Muriel gasped.

"Zoinks!" Shaggy echoed.

"Rikes!" Scooby wailed.

"Great StarClan!" Courage shouted.

Eustace went passed by his family and announced before heading outside, "I'm going hunting!"

"You had better go along, boys," Muriel said, fearing for her husband's safety, "To make sure he doesn't hurt himself."

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage sighed, with dismay, they didn't not want part of this whatsoever, but they had no choice but to obey Muriel's wishes.

"The things we do for love," Courage lamented, as he and best friends followed Eustace out the door.

It was nighttime by the time they reach the forest, Shaggy had started a fire to get him and his family through the night. Courage was shivering with both cold and fear. He hated the nighttime in the forest, it was probably his least favorite part of camping trips.

Eustace was laughing gleefully as he sharpened his gun, and was now aiming at Courage.

Courage let out a loud screeched, while Scooby managed to grabbed Courage out of the way.

"Rey! Ratch where you're pointing that thing!" Scooby spat at him.

Eustace ignored him, and was practicing aiming his gun. Shaggy winced, he really hated the idea of hunting animals for sport. Who's idea was to event hunting for sport anyway? It just seems so cruel.

"I'll show that dumb Horst!" Eustace yelled, cutting off Shaggy's thoughts, "I'll show them all.

"Uncle Eustace be careful you're gonna-" Shaggy called out his warning too late.

Eustace accidentally fire his gun to the sky, and as a result two hunters landed on Eustace with a thud. The two ran off into the night.

Eustace sat up and dust himself.

Shaggy decided to take this opportunity to ask his uncle of what's been lingering in his mind, "Uncle Eustace, what do you have against your brother?"

"That man is dead. So there ain't nobody for me to be against," Eustace scoffed off his nephew's question.

"Like, I talked to Aunt Muriel earlier and she said that you used to be a bit jealous of your brother," Shaggy couldn't believe his uncle just hated his brother so much.

"Jealous!?" Eustace spat at him, "I'm not jealous! I'm fed up with my stupid brother. Ever since we were kids everybody always paid attention to Horst. He was so special that he got to explore so many places and he got to shoot so many animals that everybody admired him. He ain't special, he's a total push over!" he ranted, pain was hinted in his voice.

"But he's still your brother," Courage argued.

"Not according to my parents," Eustace hissed, "Me Ma told me that I'm so useless I'll never be as useful as Horst and i'll always be a stupid son. Plus me Pa paid so much attention to Horst that he didn't even know I existed."

Even though Shaggy felt a tad of sympathy for his grumpy uncle, his words also felt hypocritical to him, "Kinda like how you treat me, Courage, and Scooby."

Eustace grumbling with annoyance, signaling we doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

"Rell, it's getting late," Scooby stated, stretching his legs. Resides, I don't wanna argue with Rustace anymore.

Shaggy answered that with a yawn, "After a long day of being out, I could go for a good night sleep."

Courage yawned with agreement, "Me too." He buried his muzzle wrapped around his body and closed his eyes, breathing in and out of his nose.

In another part of a forest, in the ground there was a dirt under a tunnel digging through the forest ground. Suddenly a gray rabbit popped up, his name was Bugs Bunny.

"Well here we are, Lakeside Beach and all the clams we could eat," he announced.

A second creature popped out the ground a black duck named Daffy Duck, "What a way for a duck to travel underground," he complained before looking around, "Hey wait a minute! Since when did a Lakeside Beach looked like a forest!"

Bugs was thinking, "Say, I knew we should take a left turned at Albuquerque."

Courage felt a kick of Eustace's boots hitting his muzzle. He opened his eyes, and saw that Eustace, Shaggy and Scooby are still fast asleep.

Courage stretched his legs and arms, he felt his stomach rumbled. He decided to make some breakfast to wake his best friends up.

The smell of bacon had reached Shaggy and Scooby's nostrils, as they woken up like daises. Walked up to two plates of bacon and beginning eating like hogs.

"Morning guys," Courage let out a little laugh.

"Morning Courage/Rorning Rourage," Shaggy and Scooby responded, finishing up their bacon, with last gulps.

"Rhat was good bacon," Scooby smiled.

Courage let out a soft chuckle, "Muriel isn't the only one who can cook."

"Thanks little pink dude," Shaggy murmured.

Noises sounded from near the campsite, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage picked up their ears, was someone in trouble?

"Rou hear that?" Scooby asked. They didn't sound in fear for their lives. In fact, they sounded HAPPY.

"Sounds like laughter," Shaggy listened closely.

"It's coming from over there," Courage pointed near the bushes, "Come on."

The cowardly trio headed for the bush, and they all saw A family of deer. Which contains a mommy deer, a daddy deer and two deer children, which are a son and a daughter. And Their playing together.

"Aww, look at the cute little deers," Shaggy commented, adoring the scene. One of the things he liked about going on trips like this was seeing animals in their natural habitats.

"Gotcha," the male deer said, tagging his son.

The boy deer then went tagging his sister, "You're it."

Courage smiled, feeling warm it was scenes like this that make him appreciate the bonds between a family.

"You're it," a girl deer said, leaping over the pink beagle and tagging him.

Courage let out a giggle, before turning to Scooby, with playful eyes, "You're it Scooby," he said, before running off. He remembered that Muriel had taught him this game when he was a pup.

Scooby's paws pricked. It had been a long time since he'd felt carefree. He'd been turning into an investigator like Fred, Daphne and Velma obsessed with questions and answers and worrying about every mystery. He bounded away, and tap Shaggy's shoulder, "Rou're it Raggy!"

Shaggy give a playful grin at his dog, "Like I'm gonna get you Scooby-Doo," he then raced after the Great Dane.

Out of the corner of his eye, Courage spotted the male deer, who was looking warily at Shaggy, who was running after Scooby at the moment. He guessed that he was afraid that he was gonna hunt him and his family down, "It's okay, he's not gonna hurt you," he assured the father deer.

The father seemed relived, and continued to play with his family, before Courage could rejoin the game, he was met with a horrific aching pain with a blast from a gun shooting in the body.

He let out a moan of pain. Now I know how a hunted animal feels.

"You made me miss, you lousy, stupid hunting dog!" Eustace scolded, as he kicked Courage so hard, he landed in the tree hole.

"You're the useless one!" Eustace snapped, but just as he was about to walk away, he was met glares of Shaggy and Scooby, who clearly weren't happy at the moment.

"Stop right there Uncle Eustace!" Shaggy asserted, using his hand as a signal to stop his uncle.

"Huh?" Eustace asked.

"Like, Courage didn't make you miss, the deer got away," Shaggy explained.

"Blah, blah blah!" Eustace growled, "He still got in the way of capturing that deer."

"I have a feeling that if Uncle Horst was still alive he would be very mad that you kicked the little dog dude into that tree!" Shaggy protested, knewing he likely touched a nerve, but he didn't care at the moment.

Eustace give a cold glare at his nephew, "You leave me stupid brother out of this you stupid nephew! Your just as useless as that stupid dog, along with your own stupid dog. Now get out of me way!" he pushed Shaggy harshly, as he stomped away.

"Re's such a jerk," Scooby growled, not liking the way he was treating him and his best friends.

"I know, right?" Shaggy agreed.

"Rome on, let's help Rourage."

Shaggy and Scooby had both manage to pull poor Courage out of the tree, his fur was covering with ash. And managed to have a squirrel stuck in his mouth in the process. The squirrel chittered angrily at the pink beagle, and poked him in the eye.

"Ouch!" Courage wallowed in pain, "Sorry squirrel!"

"Rare you okay Rourage?" Scooby asked.

Courage wiped out the squirrel fur that was coated to his tongue, "Yeah I-" he began, before he froze.

Following the pink beagle's gaze, Shaggy and Scooby saw pictures of Eustace hanging all of some trees. The three gasped with anxiety and to make matters worse they saw that the same father deer from earlier with a gun shooting at the pictures of Eustace. The three best friends managed to scrambled away just in time as the deer fired his gun.

"Oh no!" Courage gasped, knowing this has taken a turned for the worst.

"That's not good," Shaggy winced

"Re gotta find Rustace!" Scooby ran, despite being angry with the farmer, he didn't not want to see him getting hunted.

Shaggy and Scooby followed the Great Dane, running.

Getting to Eustace, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage raced over to him and started to shout at him.

"Uncle Eustace!" Shaggy panted his breath.

"A deer is gonna hunt you down!" Courage warned, hoping to get the message to the farmer's stubborn skull.

"Reah, hunt you down!" Scooby added, fear gnawing his gut.

"Get away from me!" Eustace scoff off the trio's warnings.

Before either Shaggy, Scooby nor Courage opened their mouths, a blast from a gun shot Eustace on the rear-end, causing the farmer to drop his gun off a gorge.

Turning their heads, they saw the Deer with a gun in his hooves, ready to hunt them down.

The family let out a loud shriek.

"Run!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage yelled in unison.

They had at least raced through the forest for at least thirty seconds, failing to noticed a net had caught them in the air.

Oh great, like why not have another Fred who is an expert on traps! Shaggy thought, with sarcasm.

The four struggle to break free of the net, but of course it's no use.

Roh, if we ever needed Red, it's now! Scooby thought, desperately.

Just the deer, appeared in front of the trapped family.

"Zoinks, he's coming!" Shaggy wailed.

"Start chewing!" Courage screamed, as he along with Shaggy and Scooby desperately tried to chew their way out.

"What's... Huh?" Eustace asked, clearly daze from the trap.

"A deer's gotta do what a deer's gotta do," the deer declared.

Everyone started to scream and even Eustace started to chew the net with the three best friends. This went on for several seconds, before the deer aim his gun and shoot his laser, which saved everyone from the clutches of the net.

"It's rabbit season!" Daffy argued.

"Duck season," Bugs argued back.

"Rabbit season!"

"Duck season."

"Rabbit season!"

"Rabbit season!"

"Duck season."

"Rabbit season!"

"Rabbit season!"

"Duck season!"

"Rabbit season!"

Daffy wasn't having none of it, and yelled, "I say it's duck season! And I say fire!"

Then out of nowhere, a laser shot Daffy in the beak, making it sideways, he twisted his beak back to it's normal place.

He quietly walked up to Bugs and hissed, "You're despicable."

Back with the family, they had mange to dodge in time as another laser shot was in the air. Unfortunately because Eustace was running in another direction, he failed to see another trap the deer had set up.

Hearing some painful grunts from the farmer. The trio walked up to the hole and to their surprise a WHITE TIGER leaped out from the hole.

"That was truly a traumatic experience," the white tiger said, "But I'm over it."

He then give out a laugh, and sprang out into the forest.

"Rince when does a tiger live in the forest," Scooby asked, in astonishment that there was an random tiger in the forest.

"Scoob, you stayed in Nowhere for at least almost three months," Courage replied dryly, "Does that surprise you somehow."

Scooby give a sheepish smile at the pink beagle, while shrugging his shoulders.

"Guys, a little help here," Shaggy grunted, as he lean down towards the hole and trying to get his uncle outta there.

Scooby and Courage turned their gaze towards the cowardly teen and went over to get Eustace out as well.

But unexpectedly, Eustace pulled all of them in the hole with him.

"Uncle Eustace, we're trying to get you out, not get in," Shaggy explained, with annoyance.

Looking up, everyone saw the deer aiming his gun on the farmer, "A deer's gotta do, what a deer's gotta do."

Eustace braced himself, letting out sobs.

"Stop, don't shoot!" Courage shouted, trying to get the deer to stop.

"Hmm," the deer questioned.

"Rhere's gotta be another way to settle this," Scooby said, briskly.

"Hmm?" the deer questioned again.

"Like, that man your hunting is my uncle," Shaggy explained.

"But your so-called uncle kicked your friend into a tree," the deer proclaimed, making the trio remembering what happened earlier.

Ras he spying on us? Scooby asked in his mind.

"Which means I have to do this," the deer was aiming to gun, ready to try to shoot Eustace again.

"Stop!/Rop!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage gasped, in unison.

The deer lower his gun, making the trio feeling relief washing over them.

"There's still gotta be another way," Courage insisted.

"Like, if this was a game show then you have to win the right to shoot Uncle Eustace," Shaggy added in.

This spark an idea in Courage's brain, "Game show? That's it! Let's settle this in a game show!"

"Rou got a deal?" Scooby answered, pleading to get through the male deer.

"Hmm. It's a deal," the deer finally agreed.

Back at the farmhouse Muriel sat on her rocking chair, worrying about her husband, "I just hope Eustace gets home okay."

She turned on her TV, just in time to watch a game show.

"And now it's time to play... Hunt for Knowledge!" the news reporter and the audience announced.

"Oh, goody, goody!" Muriel said, cheerfully.

But to her surprise the camera shots down to reveal, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage. Shaggy was wearing a white suit, while Scooby was wearing a red bow tie and Courage was wearing a white bow tie.

"And here are your hosts Courage Bagge, Shaggy Rogers, and Scooby-Doo," the TV reporter announced.

"Boys?" Muriel asked, with astonishment.

Back in the woods, Bugs and Daffy were curious to see what's going on, as the animals gathered around the stage.

"Eh, what's up doc?" Bugs asked, as he chomped on a carrot.

"Some game show there hosting," a bear responded to the gray and white rabbit.

On the stage, Courage wave to the animals of the forest, "Hello everyone welcome to Hunt for Knowledge. The game show where we guess what's for knowledge. Now let's introduce our contestants."

Shaggy took the lead, "On the left we have an educated deer whose hobbies are hunting and spending time with his family. Please welcome Buck."

The male deer Buck, waved at the audience, as all the animals cheered for him.

"On the right we have a very grouchy farmer whose hobbies are not only hunting but trying to fix things and farming of course. Please welcome Eustace Bagge," Courage announced.

But unlike with Buck, the animals booed and hissed at him, for they know he was hunting the animals down.

Back at home Muriel was surprise that her husband was on TV too!

"Eustace?"

Back in the forest, Scooby was showing his off a box of Scooby Snacks.

"Rhis program is brought to you by Scooby Snacks. Row featuring new bubble gum flavor," Scooby announced, this made the audience of animals cheered.

"Sometimes you gotta advertise," Courage put in, with a wink.

Meanwhile in Coosville at Fred's house, Fred was surprise to see Shaggy and Scooby on TV!

"No way. Girls come quick!" Fred shouted.

Daphne and Velma came rushing in the living room and were surprise to see the hungry duo on the game show as well.

"Jinkies! Shaggy and Scooby are on TV," Velma exclaimed.

"Look, it's the little dog they told us about," Daphne added, looking at the pink little dog on the TV.

"I'm guessing the hunter must be Shaggy's uncle," Fred stated, as he looked at the picture of Muriel and Eustace on his iPhone Shaggy had sent to him weeks ago.

"He looks as grouchy as he does in this picture," Velma commented, looking at Fred's phone.

Back in the forest the game show was about to begin.

"And now for our first question. What is this picture of?" Courage said, holding out a picture of the Big Dipper.

Both of the contestants pushed the buttons.

"That would be-" the deer began, before being cut off by Eustace.

"No way, deer. I'm going first. That there's dots. A whole mess of dots!" Eustace yelled.

The audience laughed at Eustace's stupidity and Shaggy couldn't help but face palmed.

Velma would of like, sure correct you in her own words. Shaggy thought, thinking on how Velma would rant on his uncle's stupidity.

"That would be the Big Dipper," Buck corrected.

"Correct/Rorrect!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage shouted in unison.

The animals all cheered, including Buck' family.

"No fair! He didn't give me a chance!" Eustace whined.

Scooby rolled his eyes and whisper to Courage, "Rike, he ever gave him a chance."

"No kidding," Courage whispered back at him. And he calls up stupid all the time?

"Now for our next question," Shaggy announced, before holding a picture of DNA, "Like, what is this a picture of?"

Buck and Eustace both pressed the button on their contenders.

"Me first. It's a scribbling line with colorful dots," Eustace yelled.

The buzzer went off, indicating that Eustace was indeed incorrect.

"Deoxyribonucleic Acid also known as DNA," Buck responded.

"Correct/Rorrect!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage shouted, with unison.

Eustace grumbled, with annoyance.

"Ror our third question. Rhat is this picture of?" Scooby asked, holding a picture of a painting Starry Night.

Eustace and Buck index again, pressed the button determination glittering in their eyes.

"A bunch of yellow and blue swirly lines," Eustace announced.

But unfortunately the farmer was wrong again, as the buzzer went off.

"Starry Night. Originally painted by Vincent Van Gogh," Buck said, calmly.

"Correct/Rorrect!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage shouted in unison.

"Stupid deer! You make me look bad," Eustace snapped at the deer.

"I'm gonna ignore that," Buck replied, shaking his head.

Bugs was laughing from the audience, "What a maroon!"

After a few more questions Buck got all the answers right, while Eustace pretty much got all of the answers wrong.

"And now, the question to determine the winner!" the news reporter announced.

"And now for our final question," Courage said, pulling out a globe.

"What is this thing?/Rhat is this thing?" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all asked together.

Eustace managed to press the button faster than Buck this time, "I know this for sure! It's a bowling ball covered with throw-up!"

The buzzer went off, as all the animals booed at Eustace.

Buck pressed on to button and declared, "That's the planet Earth."

"Correct/Rorrect!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all shouted in unison.

"The winner of Hunt for Knowledge is… Buck!" Courage cheered, with a grin on his muzzle.

The animals all cheered for him, even Daffy was impressed. Buck's family all came up to the stage to congratulate him, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all smiled at the heartwarming sight.

"He's just a stupid animal!" Courage heard Eustace, turning around and to his shock and horror, he had Buck's gun and was prepared to shoot him. He let out a horrified yelp.

"Uncle Eustace no!" Shaggy begged, not wanting any harm to come to the deer family.

The deers all let out gasps of terror, as Courage rushed up to them pulled out the rug from under the stage floor and lifted up and stretched up his LEGS before Eustace could do any damage.

The laser manage to reach far, from there the cowardly trio could hear a painful grunt echoed through the forest.

Oh like, please let it be alive. Shaggy thought desperately.

Shaggy got his answer as a growl that sounded like a bear echoed in the air. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage froze. Before any of them could think of what to do next, the ground shook as tree fell down, something BIG was coming.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage let out whimpers of fear, as they all huddled together.

Finally the creature appeared to everyone and it turns out it was indeed a bear and he did not look happy, not in the slightest, "Now who done shot, MY LOLLIPOP!?" he demanded, holding a orange lollipop that had been clearly shot.

"The hunter!" the animals responded, pointing at Eustace.

While Bugs had a pointing sign, that clearly saids, 'He did it!' he give out a snicker, "Ain't I a stinker?"

Daffy gave a smug smile to the rabbit, "Yes, yes you are."

Eustace now knowing he's in trouble, threw Buck's gun into the bush, he give out a nervous chuckle and walked up to Buck, "He's the hunter! Not me!" he lied, as he switched his hat, while ripping Buck's antlers and fur off in the process.

"My brother was right, I ain't no hunter!" Eustace said crazily, "I'm a deer! See!"

Eustace then trotted like a deer and ran away from the scene, while Shaggy, Scooby and Courage gave the farmer confused glances. The trio don't know what happened next but what they can hear was Eustace screaming, indicating he was mistaken for a deer by the hunters.

Rell, serves him right. Scooby thought bitterly.

"Thanks for saving us out there," Buck said, showing graduate.

Shaggy nodded, turning to the male deer, "Like, no problem. I'd do anything for our new friends."

"You're one brave kid along with your friends. How do you do it?" Buck asked.

Shaggy felt his cheeks warmed up, "Well you gotta have courage."

"A dog's gotta do what a dog's gotta do," Courage put in.

"Reah," Scooby nodded with agreement, before letting out a giggle.

A few hours later back in the farmhouse, the family were watching TV as the event of hunting was still going live.

Shaggy was on the phone speaking with Fred, "Thanks for checking in. I'll see you soon. Bye," he hung up, putting his phone in his pocket. Before turning to Scooby with an excited grin, "Guess what Scooby? The gang saw us on TV."

Scooby could hardly sit still, his body tingled with excitement, "Roh boy!"

Courage noticed the excitement in Scooby's eyes, "Do you think I might meet your friends guys?"

"Someday Courage. Someday," Shaggy responded, noticing of curious the pink beagle looked.

"Do you think they'll like me?" Courage asked, feeling a bit nervous of what are they like.

"Rell when we write to the gang, we always mention you," Scooby reassured, noticing the pink beagle's discomfort.

Courage felt an unexpected glow of pleasure at these words, he smiled, maybe he could actually meet them someday, tell them about their adventures and tell them how Shaggy and Scooby grew to brave almost as brave as him.

"That's my nephew. Any friend of yours is a friend of mine," Muriel said, warmly looking please at her nephew answer.

Shaggy smiled, feeling a warm of love from his aunt, "Thanks Aunt Muriel." He went over and wrapped his arms around his aunt.

"And now, let's welcome the winner of this year's hunting contest," the announcer said on TV, getting the family's attention, "Mr. Jay O Kerwood Mr. Curwood has blasted the oddest deer of the year!"

He walked up to a car, where Eustace was on the front of the car looking dazed, with the man claimed to be Mr. Jay O Kerwood Mr. Curwood.

"You know, boys, that deer reminds me a wee bit of Eustace," Muriel said, staring at the screen, and trying to remember.

"I'm a deer. Useless the deer!" Eustace said, with a dazed voice and singing 'lalala.'

"He may be useless at times," Courage said, shaking his head at the farmer.

"But he can be very useful," Shaggy finished.

"Reah," Scooby agreed, "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!"
