In the city of Proteus and in a tunnel, the group were dragging their feet down a very steep hill. "Mother Olm's chamber is at the end of this tunnel, but be careful. Especially if you're frail and weak." The Olm guard looked at Hop Pop. "How's it going back their old timer?"
"Who you calling old timer?" Then, Hop Pop felt a bone in his leg, crack. "Oh, help me, frog!" It caused him to tumble down the hill, knocking everyone down and to the bottom.
Once everyone got to the bottom, everyone was groaning due to the pain all over her bodies. "You really need some stairs if they're gonna affect someone like that." Luz remarked.
"Sorry, kids." Hop Pop apologised. "My ding dang knee's been acting up. Forty years of farming will do that to you."
"Good going." The first Olm guard remarked sarcastically.
"At this rate, you're gonna get everyone killed."
"Word of advice guys, be sure to search your pockets." Dipper suggested to the guards. "He likes to steal weapons."
"Why?"
"Because he's old and fragile?" The Olm guards laughed while Hop Pop looked away with embarrassment. Dipper stared at the old frog, feeling some kind of sympathy feeling a tad guilty for helping them make jokes.
"You know you two, Hop Pop has saved my life loads of times." Anne said.
"From what?!" The Olm guard asked.
"His constant back pains!" The Olm guards laughed.
Dipper and Anne walked away from the guards. "Wow." Anne said.
"I know. Those guys are jerks." Dipper said.
Then, Sprig got up and groaned. "Huh? Ooh!" He looks around the chamber, and sees a gong in front of him just as the others got up. "Wow. What does this do?" Sprig walked up to the gong and was about to hit it.
"Wait!" Luz ran up to Sprig, stopping him from hitting it. "I always wanted to do this." Luz made a rock glyph causing it to form a rock. Then, she made a plant glyph to wrap around the rock.
"What is that?" Sprig asked.
"Close to a gong stick." Luz replied before hitting the gong with the stick.
Then, the ground shook causing everyone to feel the tremor and to begin losing balance. "Great, what did you two do?!" Hop Pop asked.
At the end of the chamber was a ginormous hole that lead to what appeared to a deep underground. Then, out of the chamber came a ginormous creature. A large purple olm, with a dark blue leaf-like design on their face and bright blue glowing eyes. They have blue frills, one frill going down the back of their spine.
"Who is it that summons me?" The creature asked with an ancient womanly voice.
"Wow!" Everyone reacted with awe and wonder.
"Woah, that is one big mother." Luz remarked.
"Uh. Greetings, Mother Olm." Anne said. "I'm Anne Boonchuy. This is Sasha Waybright..."
"Hey…." Sasha responded, intimidated by her appearance.
"…Luz."
"Hola." Luz said.
"….Dipper."
"Greetings." Dipper froze. "Greetings?! Come on Dipper."
"….And the Plantars."
"Hey!" The Plantars greeted the mother with excitement.
"Ooh. Frogs." Mother Olm remarked. "Hasn't been here in about a thousand years. And, as for you four..." Her gills extend and were now around Sasha, Anne, Dipper and Luz, whom were all uncomfortable. "…how exotic."
"Well, this could turn into a disgusting Anime I watched one time." Luz said.
"We need your help." Anne said as she moved a tentacle aside. "King Andrias is destroying Amphibia, and…"
"Wait. Hold on." Mother Olm interjected. "Do you hear a flapping sound, like a million tiny little wings? No? Just me? Must be all in my head. Continue."
"So, Sasha and I and our friend Marcy got zapped into Amphibia by a music box and.."
"Music box?" Mother Olm reacted. "I am the keeper of the prophecy of the stones and the music box, upon which the fate of all world….." Her eyes began to glow purple as well as her tentacles. "….rests."The two Olm Guards are beating the drums while the rest anticipate what the prophecy is. "And that prophecy is..." She stops glowing. "Wait. How did it go again? Hold on. It'll come back to me. Oh…." She begins glowing again. "….okay. Here we go. The prophecy is..." She stops glowing again. "….gone... It's gone."
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed.
"Listen, kids when you get to be a certain age, things like your memory and body just stop working and abandon you like bad friends." Mother Olm explained.
Hop Pop sighed. "Tell me about it."
"Well, is there maybe a way we could help you remember it?" Anne asked.
"Anne, she is pretty old." Dipper said. "As someone who've had relatives who can't remember, it doesn't go well."
"Unfortunately, Dipper is right." Mother Olm sighed. "When it's gone, it's gone." Everyone groaned. "But there is one chance."
Sprig was confused. "But you said…."
"Dr. Yohan's incredible Brain Cream." Mother Olm interjected as she grabbed a container. "Dr. Yohan himself used to apply it when he went missing some years back. And ever since then, I've had memory problems and intense migraines." She said as she handed it to Dipper whom began to read the label.
"Dr. Yohan?" Polly asked.
"I wonder if them and a certain General are related?" Luz asked.
"Okay. So we rub this gunk on your forehead?" Anne asked.
"We won't be needing to Anne." Dipper said.
"What do you mean, Dipper?" Anne asked.
"Because the label says it went out of date 70 years ago." Dipper's response made everyone groan.
"Well, guess that saves you a disgusting mission." Olm remarked.
"What do you mean?" Luz asked.
"And how disgusting are we talking?" Sasha asked.
"You had to rub it in my brain." Yohan replied. "Which would mean you'd have to walk through earwax and boogers."
Sasha gagged. "Worst mission ever."
"Suck it up, Sasha!" Polly exclaimed.
"Well, it does save us a pointless side quest." Luz remarked.
"In hindsight if we did that, it sounds like it would fill some kind of runtime so someone could learn a valuable lesson." Sprig said.
"Wow dude, really specific." Luz remarked.
"Well, we wasted our time here." Polly said. "Let's leave."
"Wait, Mother Olm!" Dipper yelled out. "Did you perhaps write the prophecy somewhere? That's what my Grunkle Stan does."
"Oh! Well if I had, it might be... up here on the ceiling!" Mother Olm shined a light on the ceiling revealing some writing.
Everyone cheered while Hop Pop groaned. "Well, still doesn't make me feel better about being old."
"What's it say? What's it say?" Anne asked with excitement.
"Is there any info about controlling them?" Luz asked.
"Quick! Before you forget how to read." Sasha commanded.
Mother Olm used a glow to read the writing. "Three stars burning bright. Come from beyond to expel the night. Should they fight or embrace the fall? Their choice will determine the fate of all."
They looked at the drawings beside the writing that looked very familiar to the girls. "Three stars? Is that us?" Sasha asked.
"The third one doesn't look like me." Luz said.
"Do you burn bright with the power of the stones?" Mother Olm asked.
"We all do." Sasha replied.
"Yeah and we are doing our best to control them." Anne replied.
"I activated them an hour ago." Sasha said. "Even though, last time I struggled."
"What? Why?" Anne asked.
"I thought I could use them to defeat Malsacc again and well….I think they activate when people I care about are being threatened." Sasha turned to Luz. "No offence to you, Luz."
"None taken." Luz said before thinking of her powers. "Mother Olm, my powers on the other hand, I have no control of them. I feel like I am being controlled by someone else. Like, a dark side of me."
"Well, I don't know how to explain it." Mother Olm replied. "But, what I suggest is you try and control it while I try and find an old contact. Specifically, a contact of mine who managed to harness the stones to create the box. In the meantime, why don't you try something like yoga or a mud bath to try and keep that thing under control?"
"Okay, I'll try." Luz said.
"Yeah, shame Andrias now has the box." Anne said.
"He stole it?!" Mother Olm exclaimed. "Well, he stole all the powers that were rightfully yours."
"Wait, all the powers?" Anne asked.
"What do you mean?!" Sasha asked. "Luz was powerful enough to destroy Amphibia!"
"Destroy Amphibia?!" Mother Olm exclaimed. "Well, it appears she's not at full capacity and something tells me the rest of you aren't."
"Wait, Mother Olm, what happens if I'm at full capacity?" Luz asked. "Would I be so powerful that I destroy the universe?"
"No! No! No! Sweetie, no." Mother Olm assured her.
"Woo, thanks for telling me." Luz said.
"Multiverse on the other hand….." Luz froze and made an eep noise.
"Mother Olm, what are stones for?" Anne asked. "What does the prophecy mean?"
"The olms believe they serve a greater purpose, and should be left alone." Mother Olm replied. "While others believe their powers should be used for conquest. These conquerors, with their arrogance and greed, created an unnatural thing that does not sleep and will not die. The prophecy is our one shot at salvation, and we believe that you three were summoned to save us from what we've become: the worst version of ourselves."
"Unnatural things?" Anne asked.
"I don't know." Sasha said.
"Thanks for the help Mother Olm." Anne said.
"If you need me for a final battle, I'll give you a holler." Mother Olm said. "Now, where did I put my contact info? Uh, what is that annoying flapping?" Mother Olm tilted her head and then, a swarm of batsquitoes escaped her eardrums, causing everyone to scream and duck for cover.
"Batsquitoes!" Hop Pop exclaimed.
"Oh, that explains it!" Mother Olm said while smiling.
Later, on the ride back to Wartwood on Joe Sparrow, everyone was still taking in the information that Mother Olm had gifted them, while Hop Pop was rubbing his back.
"Something wrong HP?" Dipper asked.
"Oh, it's just, I feel as though my old age is slowing everyone down." Hop Pop replied.
"Dude, where did this character arc come from?" Sasha asked.
"Yeah Hop Pop, why are you suddenly down in the dumps about being old?" Anne asked. "You don't slow us down."
"Yeah, you're like one of the core members of the group!" Polly said.
"HP, you're essentially why we haven't killed each other." Sprig said. "I mean, where would we be without you?"
"Look kids, when you get a certain age, being old starts to become a problem." Hop Pop said.
"And what's wrong with being old?" Dipper asked. "I don't think it's something to be ashamed about."
"Well, you should. Back pains, being slow and the fact I could lose my memory someday are kind of worrisome." Hop Pop said.
"Yes, there are those factors." Dipper said. "But being old shows that you have lived such a long life. Learnt a lot of stuff you wish to pass down to a lot of people. No matter if it's metaphorical or straight to the point. You shouldn't be guilty about it. You should be proud of it. Sure my Grunkle Stan complains about these problems, but he loves being old. You think you have problems? I'm twenty and I still have problems. Headaches, job and taxes, we don't have it easy."
"Yeah. Being a teenager isn't easy either." Anne said. "You worry about what you want to be, you struggle to find yourself and you try so hard to live up to someone's expectations."
"Also, hormones." Sasha said. "Hormones!"
"Age is just a number Hop Pop, not a weakness." Dipper said.
Hop Pop thought about what Dipper said and smiled. "Well, I guess you're right. I guess being old is kind of cool. I have more experience in farming than either of you."
"Brag about it, and I'll push you off Joe Sparrow." Polly said before everyone laughed. While everyone laughed like everything was okay, Luz was still taking in what her powers could be able to do if she didn't control her emotions or if she was at full power capacity. She could destroy the multiverse. Amphibia, Boiling Isles, that other Amphibia and Earth would be destroyed if she were to use them.
Later, the group arrived in Wartwood where they flew past Wally watching them arrive with his binoculars made from glass bottles.
Sasha landed in front of the Plantar farm where Hunter was already waiting for them. Once they landed, the former Golden Guard gave them a salute. "Mission accomplished?"
"Yeah." Sasha replied as she and the others jumped off. "We have some more allies on our side. Though, it took some convincing."
"What about you?" Anne asked.
"Had a guy's day." Hunter replied. "It was surprisingly fun."
"Any other news we need to be aware of?" Anne asked.
Hunter began to lead the group down to the resistance town as he explained the situation. "We also have a new bot made by Andrias." He handed Sasha a piece of paper with a drawing of a Carnivore.
"What kind of robot is it?" Sasha asked.
"It's a newt but without a tail. It camouflages with its surroundings and has really advanced tech."Hunter said. "Beatrix, Croaker, Braddock, Maddie, Ivy, Pacifica and Amity faced it with minor injuries."
"Amity!" Luz exclaimed before pushing past everyone to find her girlfriend.
"Pacifica!" Dipper pushed past everyone to find his girlfriend.
"Ivy!" Sprig was about to push past, but Sasha grabbed him like a squeaky toy and threw him to the end of the tunnel. "Thank you!"
"It is specifically designed for hunting and they named it a Carnivore." Hunter's explanation made Anne, Sasha and the other Plantars raise a brow.
"A Carnivore?" Anne reacted.
"That sounds more predatory than carnivorous." Sasha said.
"Well, I said the same thing but Pacifica wanted it because it sounded badass." Hunter explained. "Though, I don't know why a cool name would be compared to a very disobedient donkey."
When they got to the village, they saw Sprig bothering Ivy by asking her a million questions outside of Felicia's Teashop. "Ivy, are you hurt?! Were you bleeding?! Were you bruised?! What happened?!"
Ivy chuckled. "Don't worry, Sprig. I'm fine! I just got a little shock."
"Did you die?!" Sprig asked.
Meanwhile, Dipper had arrived to his cave where he saw Maddie tending to Pacifica's leg. Maddie had an ice pack over her head due to the hit she received from the robot while Pacifica, now in her underwear, was having burnt leg tended to by Maddie, whom was dabbing some ice on it.
"I don't understand why you needed to take a bath." Maddie said. "Don't you have any idea what kind of infection could have lied in those waters. You could have been infected with Wally's filth."
Pacifica groaned. "Well, whatever germs were in the mud could have infected me."
"Well, your leg looks okay." Maddie said before wrapping some bandages around her leg. "Now, I need to tend to Amity."
Luz then ran into the cave. "Maddie!"
"Luz, how well can you handle medical work?" Maddie asked.
"My mom's a vet." Luz replied. "And I've seen her take a tumour out of a dog."
"Great. Because my medical assistant is squeamish with medical procedures." She explained.
"I'm sorry I can't control being squeamish!" Percy yelled from outside the cave.
"Let's go, Luz!" Maddie yelled out before she and Luz ran towards the cave Amity resided.
Dipper walked towards his girlfriend, who sat up with all the tiredness in her eyes. "Hey, babe." Pacifica said.
"Pacifica, are you okay?!" Dipper asked with worry.
Pacifica sighed. "Well, I got shot in the leg and was hunted in the jungle by a robot and one of the worst parts, I lost my favourite black shirt in the process."
Dipper lied down with his girlfriend and took off his shirt and pants. "Well, my day was also interesting."
Pacifica stared at her boyfriend with a raised eyebrow. "Why did you just…."
"Look, I thought it'd be fair." Dipper replied.
Pacifica laughed. "You're such a dork."
"Your dork." Dipper retorted before he kissed her nose.
"So, what happened today?" Pacifica asked.
"Long story short, I faced Yohan again, Luz lost control of herself and somehow managed to put a dent in Yohan's armour, Sasha used her powers to cool Luz down, we met Mother Olm, almost had a pointless adventure where we had to rub some cream on a brain, found out about stones and now we have a bunch of blind amphibians as allies."
"Please tell me it won't be like that time Stan's cataracts got worst." Pacifica pleaded.
"I hope not." Dipper said before reminiscing about the Stan incident. "Because I don't want to imagine us dealing with a bunch of giant blind amphibians."
"Me neither." Pacifica said.
"Hey, you still do your weekend yoga instructor job?" Dipper asked.
"Gotta pay the bills somehow." Pacifica replied.
"Good, because Luz needs some help."
Meanwhile with Luz, she and Maddie ran into their cave where they saw Amity trying to place an ice pack on her stinging stomach. Every time she placed it on there, she pulled back due to how cold it was.
"Amity!" Luz was about to tackle her girlfriend into a hug, but Maddie stopped her.
"Careful Luz, she could still be in pain." Maddie advised her.
"Could?" Amity retorted.
Luz approached her girlfriend and gently began to hold her by the hand. "Are you okay, Hermosa?"
"Well, I got shot in the gut and it huUUUUURTSSSSS!" Amity screamed just as Maddie placed the pack on the burn.
"Sorry, should have warned ya." Maddie said before gently dabbing the pack on Amity's burn.
"I'll talk to ya once she's done." Luz said to her girlfriend.
After Maddie tended to Amity by finishing to dab on the burn and placing some bandages round her burn. Amity changed into her pyjama shirt since the one she was wearing had a hole in it.
"You okay?" Luz, now dressed in her pyjamas, asked as Amity cringed.
"Still hurts a bit." Amity replied. "I think the Carnivore hit me harder than I thought."
"Yeah, don't know why you called it a carnivore." Luz said. "Though, it does sound really cool."
"That's exactly the reason." Amity said as she gently lied herself down next to Luz. "How was your mission?"
Luz sighed. "Apparently, my powers aren't even at its full capacity. The ones you saw were enough to destroy Amphibia, but if I had them at full capacity, then it could destroy the multiverse."
Amity was stunned by this information and sighed sadly. "Luz, that's awful." She stroked Luz's cheek.
"I'm supposed to be in full control of my powers since now I'm part of the prophecy that will save Amphibia." Luz said. "Along with Anne and Sasha. I feel as though, I stole these powers from Marcy. I don't deserve them Amity. I killed Malsacc and I almost destroyed Amphibia, twice! How can I deserve these gifts if I destroy a world I'm meant to be protecting?! Maybe I'm just not cut up for these powers. Powers I never wanted."
"Luz, superheroes never wanted their powers in the first place." Amity pointed out. "And look at them, they didn't see them as curses, they saw them as gifts."
"They are gifts, yes." Luz said. "But not for me. I think I'm too emotionally unstable to have them."
Amity took Luz's arm and kissed her hand. "We'll control these powers, Luz. I promise." While Amity wrapped her arm around Luz, the human witch looked up to the ceiling, uncertain about what could happen next.
Back at the Emperor's castle, Andrias was busy eating some cupcakes while Darcy and Belos were having their conversations.
"So now, these losers are being lead to their deaths?" Darcy laughed manically.
"Yes. Those creatures will be wiped out for good." Belos assured them. "They'll be gone and I'll save humanity from the evils of that realm."
"Maybe you should let it happen sooner than later." Darcy suggested. "Because Earth will be rubble by the time you get there!"
"Well, I have a feeling it won't." Belos said. "Anyway, I have important things to tend to. Good luck, Core."
Once the projection of Belos disappeared, Darcy slammed their fist against Andrias' throne. "Why?! Why did there need to be a human in charge of that world?! And why did they need to destroy everything in that world?!"
"Do you want to call the invasion of Earth as revenge?"
"No, you idiot! We need to get to the Boiling Isles!" Darcy began to think. "But we need a way to know what we're dealing with there. With this Day of Unity only being a month away, there won't be enough time to wait. So, we're gonna start making invasion plans as soon as possible."
"Buuut, we spent so much time prepping for Earth." Andrias pointed out.
"Well, now we need to prep for the Boiling Isles." Darcy said. "Perhaps we need to send someone there to survey its life and ecosystem. Someone like….." Then, General Yohan crashed into the castle, looking badly beaten and his thrusters stopped working.
Once Darcy and Andrias approached the newt general, they saw that he was struggling to breathe under the dents in his armour.
"What happened Yohan?" Andrias asked.
"Human…..human…..powers." Yohan replied.
Andrias and Darcy clenched their fists in anger. "Uh, that human!" Darcy exclaimed angrily.
"The….witch….human." Yohan replied.
"What?! Luz has powers now?!" Andrias exclaimed angrily. "Master, we need to invade Earth as soon as possible or else…."
"Shut your trap Andrias!" Darcy demanded. "Your Earth invasion army isn't ready yet."
"I….I…I…I…I…I have failed you." Yohan stuttered.
Darcy smiled. "No, I have another use for you, Yohan. A more….Experimental use."
