In Luz and Amity's cave, the two were sleeping peacefully, snuggling up to each other whilst dreaming of having a perfect beach day adventure date.
"Awwwwww." Pacifica said as she watched them sleep. "They look so cute. Shame that I'm gonna have to do this." Pacifica blew an air horn near their ears, causing the two to wake up and scream.
"Ahhhh, Azura!" Luz screamed.
"Ahhhh, monster papaya!" Amity screamed.
"Good morning girls!" Pacifica said. She was dressed in a pink sports shirt, green yoga pants and black trainers. "Hope you had a good night sleep."
"Hope?!" Amity exclaimed. "What the heck are you doing?!"
"Well, Dipper has told me that Luz needs help getting that thing under control." Pacifica said. "And he said that Mother Olm suggested some yoga. Luckily, I happen to be a yoga instructor."
"Hey what time is it?" Luz asked.
"Time for you to get changed and be in the mess hall." Pacifica replied. "I'll see you there. And Amity, you can join us if you want." She left to leave the two girlfriends to themselves to get changed.
The two girlfriends just groaned in annoyance. "I can't believe she did that." Amity said.
"I'm meant to keep my stress levels low and she wakes me up with an air horn." Luz said.
Amity raised an eyebrow. "That at all doesn't sound like air."
Later, Luz and Amity arrived both dressed in matching purple workout shirts where they see Pacifica placing four mats on the floor.
"Okay, you've arrived, good." Pacifica said.
"Why are there four mats?" Amity asked.
"Because I'm joining yoga." Maddie replied.
"Don't you have a mission?" Luz asked.
"Nah." Maddie replied. "Sasha's just trying to find allies today. Though, I heard Beatrix say something about someone named Sandor to herself." Then, some flies flew out of the wall and out of the hall.
Everyone was confused by what happened. "Huh, well that happened." Pacifica remarked before munching on a random fly. "Okay, let's begin."
Pacifica was doing a tree pose whilst relaxing, scenic music played in the background. "Now, you are a tree. Keep balancing and take a deep breath." The three yoga students took deep breaths. "Now, bend down and place the hands on the mat." They did that and took a deep breath. "Now, lie down on your stomach and stretch your chest upwards, take a deep breath and hold the pose." They did that while Luz looked like she struggled a bit and was sweating. "Now, stand up. Spread your arms out and stretch your leg forward and the other one back." The other students did that and took a deep breath. "Isn't this relaxing?"
"Yeah, it kind of is." Amity replied.
"Kind of dull." Maddie replied. "But gets my joins working. How about you Luz?"
Luz on the other hand, was sweating and making squeaking noises. "Yeah….Yeah…..Yeah….Relaxing…." Luz squeaked harder. "Hey Pacifica….Could we make this our last pose?"
"My lessons usually last an hour and I am confident that you can have you powers under control in that amount of time." Pacifica replied.
An hour later, Luz was trying to walk but her legs were wobbling due to the yoga lesson lasting a long time. "Uhhhhh…."
Amity approached her girlfriend with a concerned look. "Are you okay Luz?"
"My joins hurt." Luz groaned. "Who knew that yoga would involve so much leg work?"
Pacifica scoffed. "Come on Noceda, it's not that bad."
"For you." Maddie retorted as she stuck another pack of ice on her arm. "My joints hurt like a son of a bee spawn."
"Do you feel relaxed?" Pacifica asked.
"Do I seem relaxed?" Luz asked sarcastically.
"I guess not." Pacifica said. "Anyone else got any bright ideas?"
"We can try meditation." Maddie suggested.
Later, Maddie was sitting in front of Luz, Amity and Pacifica with her legs crossed and eyes closed with the other three doing the same.
"Clear your mind." Maddie said. "Clear your mind. Cut out all the noise, focus on the quiet."
They were silent for a moment until they heard the sound of snoring and all opened their eyes. They looked and saw that Luz was snoring with her eyes still closed and her legs still in a meditating position.
"Well, she has the relaxed part down." Maddie remarked.
"She had plenty of sleep last night." Amity said.
"Did she?" Pacifica asked.
"I don't know. I think I fell asleep before her." Amity replied.
"Hey Luz! Luz!" Pacifica yelled before pulling out the air horn and blowing it, causing Luz to wake up.
"Ahh! Flapjack!" Luz yelled. "Huh, wonder why I yelled that? But seriously Pacifica, what the heck?!"
"Sorry, you fell asleep." Pacifica said.
"Did you feel relaxed?" Maddie asked. "Before that horn, specifically."
"I was dreaming." Luz replied. "It was horrifying. I dreamt that Hunter was possessed by Emperor Belos and he killed Flapjack. Then Belos, who was now a monster for some reason, stopped possessing Hunter and walked into the Demon Realm which was in the Gravesfield cemetery for some reason and is about to wipe out the rest of all witch life! But the strange part was that Amity now had a pointy chin and kept falling on her face a lot!"
There was an awkward freeze before Pacifica broke the silence. "I dreamt that an ugly goblin creature entered my stomach like it was some kind of body horror movie."
"Sorry Maddie, I didn't get much sleep last night." Luz said. "I mean, does sleep count as relaxing?"
"My theory, when you're sleeping, you're keeping that possessed you dormant." Maddie said. "But when Mother Olm says relaxed, I think she means the possessed you is locked away, forever."
"Was there anything else Mother Olm suggested?" Amity asked her girlfriend.
"She did suggest a mud bath." Luz replied.
"Luz, shut the hell up, you had me at mud bath!" Pacifica exclaimed.
Later, the four were getting mud baths in the Amphibia spa. Pacifica was of course getting relaxed while drinking some kind of drink from a martini glass, Maddie was just sitting there looking like she didn't care, Amity looked kind of befuddled and like she was looking for something while Luz looked like she was kind of uncomfortable.
"So….If this is a mud bath, where is the soap?" Amity asked.
"You don't have mud baths in your world?" Pacifica asked. "Do you even have any spas in your world?"
"Of course we do." Amity replied. "We're not animals. We have massage sessions."
"Is there a Boiling Isles twist?" Luz asked.
"Uh….No, they're like your Earth massages." Luz made an elaborate hand gesture. "Luz! Not everything on the Boiling Isles is gonna have a demonic twist."
"Sorry, sweet potato." Luz said. "Do you forgive me?" She gave her girlfriend some puppy eyes.
Amity was at first Gonna resist, but she sighed. "Awww! I can't stay mad at you." Amity cooed.
"Hey does anyone notice we seem to be doing a lot of relaxing in while there's a war going on?" Maddie asked.
Everyone began to think for a moment before shrugging their shoulders. "Eh." Pacifica responded.
"Honestly, not enough." Amity responded.
"We only have one day of relaxing before something crazy goes on." Luz said. "And speaking of relaxing, I feel about the same way Azura does about mud baths. Just weirded out."
"And where's the soap?" Amity asked.
"Hey Luz, I've been meaning to ask, what's so great about the Good Witch Azura?" Pacifica asked.
"And why do you think it's good?" Maddie asked. "I read a few pages and honestly, it doesn't beat the tension and character growth like Cynthia Coven. Marcy was quite right about it being overrated."
Amity gasped. "Shame on her. Azura has a lot of character growth! Especially between Azura and Hecate! Sure they started out as enemies, but I think there is something going on between them!"
Luz chuckled. "It's okay. Anyway…." Luz stared off into the distance like with a hint of sadness in her eyes. "….I remember finding it in a public library. I was quite into fantasy growing up and fell in love with Azura when I finished the first book. It was adventurous, suspenseful, funny, romantic and even downright traumatising. Though, the sequels don't match up to the original."
"Eh, still prefer Cynthia Coven." Maddie said.
"Each to their own." Luz said before she and the rest continued to relax.
They continued to relax in the mud bath until Amity began to poke her chin. "Hey Pacifica, is my chin getting pointy?"
"No." Pacifica replied.
"Come on, be honest. Is it getting pointy?"
"Nah, it's a lot less pointier than my nose…."
"I know someone from Wartwood who has a pointy lip." Maddie said.
"Noceda."
"A pointy lip?" Pacifica reacted.
"Is that even possible?" Amity asked.
"Noceda."
Luz raised her eyebrow as she surveyed the area to find the voice. "Maddie?"
"What?" Maddie reacted.
"Did you whisper my name?" Luz asked.
"No." Maddie replied bluntly.
Luz went back to relaxing. "Must be hearing things."
"Noceda."
"Didn't get any sleep." Luz said to herself. "That's why I'm hearing a voice."
"What voice, Luz?" Asked the concerned Amity.
"Uh oh, you're going mad." Maddie said.
"Do I need to blow the air horn?" Pacifica asked.
"It's okay, it's just a strange whispering voice calling me by my last name." Luz replied.
"Noceda."
"Like that." Luz said. "Don't worry, I'm just gonna ignore the voice since it's in my head."
"Noceda."
Luz continued to ignore the voice. She began tapping her knees underneath the mud and making a tune with her mouth.
"Noceda."
"Hey, what do you gals want for lunch after? I feel like some of that turnip soup."
"I feel like bugs." Pacifica said.
"You seem to like bugs a lot now." Maddie remarked.
"NOCEDA! LISTEN TO THIS VOICE BECAUSE IT IS DEMANDING YOUR PRESENCE!"
Luz froze when the voice got a little intense. "Alright, fine! I'm gonna follow ya!"
"Are you sure Luz?" Maddie asked. "It's probably in your head."
"Well, I'm gonna follow it." Luz declared as she was about to get out to follow the voice.
"Uh….Luz, don't forget to put your clothes on." Pacifica reminded her.
Luz looked down and sighed. "Okay, sure. Plus, I gotta was this mud off. Hope the voice is patient."
Twenty-three minutes later, Luz had just put on her shirt and then began to dry her hair.
"Noceda."
"I'm getting changed!" Luz yelled.
"Fiiiiiiiine."
"Just keep doing your sinister whispers when I'm done!" Luz demanded.
Later, outside the spa, everyone had just finished getting dressed in their clothes. "Okay Luz, where's the whisper?" Pacifica asked.
"It just stopped." Luz replied. "Hang on! Hey, ominous whisper, I'm done!" Luz tried to listen out for the whisper.
"Noceda. Follow the whisper."
"What's it saying?" Amity asked.
"To follow it." Luz replied before walking to trace the whispering voice with Amity, Pacifica and Maddie following from behind.
They began walking through the town with Luz being in the lead and the others from behind. "What's it saying now?" Pacifica asked.
"Shhhh." Luz said. "I'm listening to it. I think it's getting louder."
"Noceda."
"Are we close?" Maddie asked.
"I don't know." Luz replied. "I think you guys need to be quiet."
"Noceda."
Luz continued to follow the whisper with her allies following from behind. Luz knew that this whisper was going to lead her somewhere, a part of her was kind of worried that it could be a trap. But her curiosity was too great to ignore.
Meanwhile, Anne and Sasha were walking down the tunnel. "I can't believe Beatrix did this!" Sasha complained.
"Cheer up Sash." Anne said. "I think it might go well. Just have faith in Sprig. Hey, could be the perfect chance to do your cheerleader routine. Well, for me."
Sasha blushed briefly before sighing. "I wish. Except one of our members got sick so now we're down to four."
"You know, I heard Luz tried cheerleading tryouts." Anne said. "So, she could be good. Speaking of…." Anne and Sasha saw Luz, Amity, Pacifica and Maddie walking through the tunnel, with Luz leading the group.
"Oh, hey Luz….Do you wanna…."
"Yeah! Yeah! Shut up, I'm listening for a whisper." Luz interjected.
"NOCEDA."
Luz gasped. "It's getting louder."
Luz began running while Pacifica, Amity and Maddie followed from behind and leaving Anne and Sasha confused.
"I didn't even finish what I was saying." Sasha said.
"Maybe she's mastered oracle magic." Anne theorised.
Sasha looked amazed. "Woah, mind blown."
Meanwhile, Luz lead the group outside of the house where they saw a strange parrot like creature with fly features standing on the couch. This sight merely befuddled the four as it squawked.
"A parrot fly?" Pacifica reacted.
Luz gasped. "A parrofly! Or, Flarrot?"
The parrot creature squawked. "Follow Leander."
"Be careful Luz." Amity said as she readied her Abomination sword. "It could be a trap."
Leander squawked. "Valeriana awaits." The parrot/fly creature began to flap its wings before jumping off the couch and flying to the door at the back.
"The dried up pond?" Maddie reacted.
"Maybe it's telling us that the water supply has gotten stronger." Luz theorised.
"But it said Valeriana awaits." Amity pointed out.
"Sounds like a herb." Pacifica said.
Later, they walked outside to the Plantar family pond where they saw a mysterious humanoid salamander standing in front of them. She was dark brown with a yellow underbelly, and had yellow spots along her tail. She has light red eyes, with slit, dark shaded red pupils, and medium length, grayish-blonde hair. One of her eyes appears to be slightly out of shape and possibly damaged. Her tongue is a slightly light tone of teal, and her mouth is lined with short teeth. She's missing her right arm but appears to be using tail as a replacement. She wore a stitched black cloak over her body, with beige armbands. She also has a hanging black pendant with a red hourglass symbol on it and gold rings on her neck.
"Ah, you're finally here." The woman said. "I was about to leave for lunch."
"Are you Valeriana?" Luz asked.
"No, it's the person behind you." The four turned around to see Percy and Braddock making out.
Once the toads were made aware of this, they froze and turned red. "Percy, I thought you said it was empty!"
"I thought it was!" Percy yelled. "Let's get out of here!" Him and Braddock began running for their lives.
The four turned around where they saw that the old woman was laughing. "Ha! The looks on their faces. Yes, I am Valeriana!" She declared proudly as the wind blew her robe. "And I have been waiting for you, Luz Noceda." She pointed her staff at Luz.
Luz was amazed yet freaked out. "How do you know my name?"
"Mother Olm is an old contact of mind." She replied.
Amity raised a brow. "Huh, I thought you would have known our names just because."
"Oh, I do that Amity Blight." Amity froze and made a terrified squeaky noise.
"Relax Amity, she's only pulling our legs." Pacifica assured her. "She probably doesn't know anything about us. She's making lucky guesses."
"You are Pacifica Northwest." Valeriana said. "Daughter of Preston and Priscilla Northwest. Waitress and yoga instructor on weekends."
Pacifica blew raspberry. "Lucky guess."
"Your favourite movie is Legally Brunette, you like deep fried anything and your favourite song is Disco Girl. Though you don't want to tell your boyfriend that."
Luz grinned at Pacifica who turned red in the face. "Your favourite song is Disco Girl?"
"What….She's lying!" Pacifica accused her. "Though, I do think Legally Brunette is the greatest movie of all time. She's just making lucky guesses."
"Your celebrity crush is Reese Witherfork, you once committed a robbery with Stanley Pines, you once turned into a werewolf that destroyed most of your clothes and you also have something inside of your…"
"Thank you!" Pacifica interjected. "You made your point."
"So wait, you know everything about us?" Maddie asked.
"Yes." Valeriana replied.
"Creepy, but cool." Maddie remarked.
"So, you're here to help me control my powers?" Luz asked.
"No, I am here to get lunch." Valeriana sarcastically retorted. "Of course I'm here for you and your out of control powers."
Luz smiled. "Oh, thank goodness. These powers get very out of control when activated."
"I know." Valeriana responded. "Mother Olm already told me though I told her I already knew."
"So, what do I need to do to control these powers?" Luz asked. "Mother Olm suggested yoga and mud baths but they didn't work."
"Of course they didn't." Valeriana said. "They make you relaxed for a short while before you go back to being yourself. But we can keep that thing dormant for a short while, we need to keep it dormant permanently. And since you are too emotionally unstable for your powers and are in a way, unworthy of them, I guess I'll have to find a way to make you worthy."
"And how are you going to do that?" Luz asked.
"With the wave of a my magic stick, I make us vanish from existence!" Valeriana declared.
Luz smiled. "Alright! Wait, what?" Before Luz could react, Valeriana waved her stick, causing the two to disappear from the eyes of Pacifica, Amity and Maddie.
"Luz!" Amity screamed.
"Hey ugly, bring her back!" Pacifica demanded.
Than Valeriana reappeared. "Quit your whining! I'm bringing her back. Just don't know when!" The salamander than disappeared from their sight once again.
Meanwhile, Luz had arrived in the middle of a very green forest. Like literally green. The rocks were green, the trees were green, the grass was green and even all the leaves were green. The green itself had a very faint glow to them. When she looked up into the sky, she saw what appeared to be space. The stars shone bright and there were even some strange natural lights that looked similar to the Aurora Borealis.
"Wow." Luz remarked. "That's gorgeous."
"Good, because you're going to stay here until you have control of the beast inside of you." Valeriana said.
Luz, despite the fear of having to stay here for a long amount of time, was ready to gain back some control of her own body. "Okay, I'm ready."
"I mentioned you didn't deserve those powers and are unworthy." Valeriana said.
"That's right." Luz confirmed.
"Why didn't you argue?" Valeriana asked as she began to walk around Luz.
Luz sighed. "Because it's true. Those powers weren't meant for me in the first place. They were meant for Marcy."
"That is true." Valeriana said. "But why do you think the box gifted you with those powers?"
"Why did it choose Marcy?" Luz asked.
"She was smart." Valeriana replied simply. "You see each stone represents a defining strength. Blue represents empathy, red represents strength and green represents intelligence."
Luz sighed. "Well, there's a problem with that." Luz said. "I'm not smart. I mean, I'm expert in Good Witch Azura and Anime, but I wouldn't say I'm smart, smart."
"Not smart." Valeriana said. "Very good observation. Though, how did a dumb person like you create her own brand of magic?" Valeriana pulled out a paper glyph and activated it to form a light glyph. "You must be the dumbest smart person in the multiverse."
Luz stuttered. "I…I…it was just dumb luck."
"Dumb luck or smart luck?" Valeriana asked. "You made more glyphs didn't you? That was smart. And used your intuition to defeat many creatures, those are smart."
"But I can't get a puzzle right for the life of me or get my algebra quiz sheets to a grade that is above F." Luz said.
"Yes! Yes! There are things smart people can't and can't do." Valeriana said. "You see, everyone is smart and dumb. I'm smart and dumb. I was both smart and dumb enough to create the stupid box."
Luz was surprised. "You created the box?! Why?!"
"To explore the multiverse." Valeriana replied. "Until it ended up in the wrong hands. Anyway, my backstory isn't important right now, you are."
Luz wanted to ask more questions but the main question was on her mind. "Why did the box choose me?"
"Who knows?" Valeriana replied. "Maybe deep down somewhere you are smart. Maybe you were the only option left to save this world and many others. I may know somethings, but I don't know everything. But these powers are now your responsibility and you have to take care of them."
Luz gave a small smile. "I guess that gave me a boost of confidence to control them."
"Yes! Yes! You have passed the first test." Valeriana's deceleration got Luz to freeze.
"First test? What's the second?" Then one of the trees evaporated into dust to reveal something that would probably haunt Luz for the rest of her life.
It looked like except her entire body was a bright green glow instead of any kind of clothing, though her hair and head were still intact, her irises were green and she sported a sinister smile.
"Well, well, well, intruders." The sinister Luz remarked. "Let's see, we got a disarmed salamander and….Oh, my body." She laughed.
"What is that?" Luz asked.
"It is the thing that controls you when you lose control." Valeriana replied.
"So, it's a Dark Luz?" Luz asked.
"Or more….Duz." Duz chuckled.
Luz was about to attack the dark Luz, but Valeriana stopped her. "No, I shall negotiate. Listen here Duz, you can have this body but you are not to be the pilot. Luz was gifted your powers because the box thought of her as a suitable pilot. Now, how's about…."
"Lending her the controls?" The dark Luz laughed. "I don't think so." She made a fire glyph before throwing it to Valeriana, causing her to explode.
Luz was shocked by what had happened and narrowed her eyes at her dark self. "You….monster!"
Duz laughed. "She was going to get in the way of our conversation."
Luz narrowed her eyes at Duz. "Okay, since she tried negotiating her way, I'm gonna negotiate my way!" She pulled out a fire glyph and fired it at Duz, who caught it in her hand.
"Oh Luz, this is why you don't deserve to be in control of yourself." Duz laughed again. "Because you can't handle power like this." She fired a fireball that Luz tried avoiding by hiding behind one of the trees but then Duz destroyed the tree by using the fire Luz against her.
"Ah!" Luz tried using an Earth glyph as a sword, but Duz shattered it into rocks before it could make an impact.
Duz then used some shards of rock to try and impale Luz, but she dived forward right before the could hit her and used her vine glyph to trap them around Duz's limbs.
"Oh no you don't!" She then burnt all the vines and fired a green beam into Luz's abdomen, causing her to fly backwards into a tree.
Duz then teleported in front of Luz and before she could use an ice glyph, she grabbed her wrist and snapping her arm, causing her to scream.
"Sorry, that wasn't humerus, was it?" Duz asked before throwing Luz towards a tree.
Luz tried to pick herself up, but then Duz threw some dirt into her face, causing her to cough before being kicked in the chin and flying backwards.
Duz picked her up by the collar of her shirt and began to punch her. "Do you know why you don't deserve these powers? Because you're an emotionally broken person which is making me a whole lot stronger every time you snap. Why should you have them?!"
"Because I'd use them responsibly." Luz replied.
"Responsibly?!" Duz laughed sinisterly. "You call yourself responsible? Like that time you crashed Owlbert? You call that responsible?"
"I learnt from them!" Luz kicked Duz, but she grabbed her foot before a second one and snapped it.
"Really?! Then how come you haven't learnt to be more open about your feelings? Like that time you didn't tell your girlfriend about the promise you made to your mother?! Or King?! Or Eda?! Wait, she doesn't know yet!"
Luz tried punching Duz, but she punched Luz so hard in the nose, that a huge cut appeared at the point that is between each of the eyes.
"Also, recently, Pacifica." Duz laughed. "Why did you get to the Good Witch Azura in the first place?!"
"They were just good!" Luz replied. "I found the first book and loved it!"
"Really?!" Duz laughed. "Or was it the last thing Papi gave to you before he croaked?" She laughed while Luz narrowed her eyes at her.
"Shut up!" Luz demanded as tears began to fall.
"Oh, and let's not forget who tried to throw it away." Duz said. "Old Mama, tried to throw the last thing your daddy ever gave to you away in the trash because she wanted to change who you were!"
"Shut up!"
"Maybe you should have gone to camp!" Duz laughed. "So that way, you would never have gained these powers and so I could be in control and destroy Amphibia. Or better, the entire the multiverse! How can you control yourself when you can't even control me?!"
Before Duz could finish her off Luz grabbed her by the wrist. "Because, I need to learn to open myself up more." When Luz got ahold of Duz, all the energy in her body was beginning to travel to Luz's.
"Ah! What are you doing?!"
"I need to trust people with my problems the same way they trust me…." Luz broken nose healed as she sat up. "….I need to not assume that people will hate me….." Luz's leg healed as she began to stand up. "….And if it's as bad as it was then I should try and find a way to fix things with them." Luz's arm finally healed while Duz struggled.
"But what about Azura and your dad?!" Duz asked.
"That will be something I figure out on my own!" Luz said before grabbing Duz by her the shoulder with her other hand.
This caused Duz's powers to be absorbed into her, rendering her into nothing a but a flicker of green that vanished into thin air and Luz closed her eyes. "Because compared to you, I have people that care."
When Luz reopened her eyes, she saw that she was now in front of a terrified Amity, Pacifica and Maddie. She looked down and saw that she was floating off the ground. Then, she saw that she was glowing green and screamed.
"Ah! I'm green! I'm glowing! I'm floating! I'm….." Luz then realised something and looked at her arms. "…..in control."
Amity was cautious yet she began to approach her girlfriend. "Luz, is that you?"
"Well, I'm not angry or have the urge to destroy the multiverse." Luz replied.
"Can you control your powers?" Maddie asked.
"Deactivate them." Pacifica said. "Because, I think the dock is beginning to crack."
"Uh…..How do I….." Luz then stopped her powers and landed on her feet before falling through the dock. But before she crashed on the ground, Valeriana caught her with her tail.
"I gotcha." Valeriana said.
Luz was surprised by the sudden appearance of the salamander. "Valeriana?! You're alive?!"
"I wasn't dead!" Valeriana replied. "You had to face your dark side on your own."
"Oh, so if I ended up dead I'd be back in the real world?"
"No, you'd be dead." Valeriana's response made Luz make a squeaky noise.
"Wait, how did you get in front of us?" Amity asked, realising that she was never there in the first place.
"Yeah, you weren't there before." Pacifica pointed out.
"Okay, does teleportation not exist?" She asked as she pulled Luz up and turned to her. "Well done Luz. You have full control of your powers. You can activate them anytime you want."
"I can?" Luz asked before thinking about it and turning green all over her body, causing everyone to stare at it in awe.
"Wow." Everyone but Valeriana said.
"Yes. You can activate your powers either through will or with heavy emotions such as anger, sadness or that intense feeling you feel when you make out with your partner."
Luz turned off her powers and landed on her feet again. But as she did, one of her feet went through the dock. "Aww man!"
"And Luz, do not activate them too many times all at once or otherwise you will be drained completely." Valeriana said. "Take a long breather before activating them again."
"Okay." Luz said while Pacifica helped her up. "Thanks Valeriana."
"You're welcome. Now, I must be off." Valeriana declared. "I have an important mission that I should have attended in the first place."
"What is it?" Luz asked. "Is it to fight an ancient demon?! A rescue mission?! Or an exorcism?!"
"No, lunch." Valeriana replied before tapping her staff on the dock where she turned into a horde of crows that all flew away.
"Did she just try and make saying going to lunch intimidating?" Maddie asked.
"Kind of cool she disappeared into crows." Luz remarked.
Amity approached her girlfriend and placed a hand on her face. "Luz, are you okay? What happened?"
"I don't know." Luz replied. "I think I faced my dark self that tried to kill me. I think it kind of represented all my emotions I have deep inside of me. All my fears and worries I haven't shared with anyone before."
"You want to talk about them now?" Pacifica asked.
Luz smiled. "I'll talk when I'm ready."
"Okay." Amity said before she kissed her on the cheek. "Don't hide whatever your feeling, especially around me. Okay?"
"Okay." Luz responded.
Then, Sasha walked on the dock with a cheerleader outfit in hand. "Hey Luz, there you are."
"Hey Sash!"
"No time to talk!" She threw Luz the outfit which she caught in her hand. "Cheerleader practice!" Sasha walked back into the house, leaving Luz confused.
"Did I sign up for cheerleader practice?" Luz asked before shrugging her shoulders. "I guess I could try again." She walked back into the house, leaving Amity turning red.
"Wait, again?!" Amity exclaimed. "Luz, you were a cheerleader?!"
