Channel 4: Sunken Plane?
Reports have been made involving a missing plane that came from Japan. During its flight, it had gone missing with communications not being answered. Word has already spread to the authorities, who imply this may be a criminal action. But no evidence has been given if this is true or not.
Hours have passed with no supposed lead. But just recently, witnesses claim to have seen wreckage of a plane in the sea. They had been fishing when they spotted it and made their report. How this came to be, nobody knows with authorities hoping that if this is the plane from Japan, it's Blackbox may have an answer. Margret, out.
It was an airborne fight, one that began with a bam.
Flying at fast speeds, the two jets Belta and Delta flew behind the possessed plane. Both looking more than a little upset, especially seeing as how they lost a good friend and comrade. As such, they were more than willing to fire back.
Pshhh!
From each jet, a single missile flew out from beneath the wings. Flying fast and toward the plane as they flew toward their target. On impact, they would explode and cause a lot of damage.
"Gruagh!" If they could make contact that is. Recognizing the danger, the Hound realized it couldn't let the plane get hit. Immediately it commanded its brethren to get this plane moving. The Geist in charge of steering having the plane move to the side.
One missile flew right past it. Missing its mark.
Boom!
The other didn't. Despite the Gesists' effort, they couldn't move the plane quick enough. The missile hit against the backside of the plane where it tore apart some metal. Granted, as a possessed plane one missile wouldn't bring it down, though some Geist did die from impact, their masks shattered. A plew of smoke escaping from the back.
"Got it! Got it!" Delta shouted. "Let's keep going." Belta agreed. The two going faster while miniature Dust guns popped out onto the front of their jet. Firing out bullets that hit the possessed Geist plane. The Creatures of Grimm shrieking as the bullets caused electrical discharges, ice forming, fire, and whatever element the jets switched to.
For the Hound, it growled. Watching as the Jets continued to fire at them mercilessly. With a shriek, a few Geist near it ripped out some metal and threw it at the jets.
"Not this time!" Belta turned and avoided the chunk of metal. Delta doing the same. They then resumed firing on the backside, killing any Geist not quick enough to shift their mask away. If one looked closely, you could see some bits of the surface turning back to normal.
Not good.
Crawling back inside the plane, the Hound attempted to think of a plan to take the jets down, but found very little of what it could do. Its foes were faster, wielded genuine weapons, with the Geist too slow.
Even with the Geist taking over this plane, it wasn't as if they could make the plane go faster. Push this plane too far, and the engines would just explode. But if those jets killed to many Geist, then the few Geist remaining would be unable to control the plane, making it crash. Should it just fly away then?
No. The Hound was fast, but it wouldn't outfly the jets. It needed to take them down, now. After a bit of thinking, it then had an idea. Quickly going into the cabin, the Hound then sniffed until it found a bag up in the compartments above the seats. Inside was a bag, where the Hound opened it and found what it needed. It's nose telling it there was more, even if small, and quickly went to get them.
Pew. Pew. Pew.
Meanwhile, outside, the jets continued to fire onto the plane. They couldn't shoot at the plane continuously, as the two pilots had to dodge whenever some metal flew into their direction, but they were fine for the most part. Their targeting systems aiding the two pilots in locking onto the Geist masks and blowing their masks up, making one less Grimm to help possess the Grimm.
"And, fire." Belta shouted as another missile was launched. The Geist, wary of such weapons, removed more metal and let it go onto the path of the missile. The metal defending them as the missile hit it and blew up before it even touched them. Still, despite not being Alphas, the Geist knew that they couldn't keep this up forever.
"Fire!" Like Belta, Delta fired multiple missiles. All aimed at the turbines that kept the plane nice and going. Realizing the danger, and having been commanded, a few Geist immediately flew out of the plane and aimed themselves at the missiles.
Boom!
The missiles fired each ended up hitting a Geist instead, preventing them from sending the plane down. Not that they were in a better position. The plane itself shook from the shockwaves those explosions sent out. Glass cracking while the plane flew a bit wobbly, which the Geist tried to correct.
"Alright then." Belta then said to Delta. "We should just fire at the engines. Missiles won't help."
"Or maybe both." Delta suggested. An idea forming that could help them out. "We fire the missiles, then while the Geist deals with them, we use that chance to fire at the engines."
A decent enough idea, one worth trying. Combined, the two jets had about five missiles left together. Fire all of them at once, the Geist will have no choice but to intercept them while they could fire at the engines in the meantime.
"Alright then. I'm in." In agreement with Delta, Belta locked sights on the plane with Delta doing the same. The two were ready to fire when suddenly, the plane started going down nose first.
Immediately bits of metal flew out, with the two jets watching the plane nose dive towards the sea. While it would be great if the plane just crashed into the ocean, both pilots knew it wouldn't be that easy. So quickly they flew down to deal with it and enact their plan. With the plane going down like this, it would be incapable of dodging or even turning properly. Both jets are getting closer as they lock onto their target.
Just as planned.
"Ruagh!" Immediately from the top of the plane, the Hound burst out. Numerous hands have sprouted from its back with each holding plastic bags you'd see in garbage cans. What they continued though wasn't garbage though. Without hesitation, the Hound threw the trash bags straight towards the dipping jets. The two confused for a second, as such things wouldn't do anything to them.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
"What the heck?" That is until their radar picked an energy reading. One that was right in front of them.
"Grrr." If the Hound had the capability of its former self, it might have just smiled. As it then threw something at the bags that were heading towards the jet. A red Dust crystal which got right near the bags and glowed.
BOOM!
Then it blew up, where all the bags also exploded.
"Shit!" The two jets found their sight obscured, smoke having been created from the explosion. All caused by the bottles of alcohol bottles and other liquids that were explosive. Not helped that the Hound had also smelled and found some Dust crystals in a suitcase. Used to make a impromptu bomb, stuffing the multiple bags with the bottles and Dust crystals to create a cover of smoke.
"Let's go up!" Obviously, the smoke did little to harm the jets. Instead they flew up and went back to their original positions. In a bit, they'll go back down and finish the job.
One of them anyway.
"?" Because as Delta flew up, they then noticed something was off. The equipment of the cockpit turned off briefly. They then flickered right back on.
"!" With a Geist image being seen. The man flinched in fear, before then feeling something on his shoulders.
"Hruuu." The boney hand of a Geist, as it looked right at him with its red eye.
"Wha-!" Then another hand gripped him.
Then another.
Then another.
Delta panicking on what was even happening, unaware of how the Geist even got here. If only he knew. That the Hound's plan had initiated when the two jets went up. Where it sent in multiple Geists onto one of the jets during the smoke screen which blinded them. That when the two jets had flown back up, multiple Geist flew out from the plane and then latched onto Delta's jet through the bottom before anybody noticed. Enough to not only convert the jet into their own little home, but also to settle their score with their prey.
"Ahhhh." Belta and the military base heard the scream of Delta. The former quickly trying to contact him.
"Delta! Delta, what's wrong?! Delta!" Her cries along with the military would go unanswered. While the Geist had entered Delta's jet, they didn't completely possess it. Instead, they hid themselves inside the cockpit with Delta, where their hands grabbed Delta's body parts.
His left arm.
His right hand.
His left thigh.
His right ear.
His clothing.
His oxygen mask.
Hands gripping all over him. Their claws sinking through his clothes and his flesh. One hand covered his tearful right eye while another gripped his throat, preventing him from even screaming right. Then, another sunk directly through his stomach, with blood pouting out to Delta's cries of agony.
Then…they pulled.
Slowly.
"Mm-ru-mnm!"
Limbs were slowly being torn off. His eyes pulled out. His own innards and guts being dragged out.
All while the pilot was helpless while suffering a slow, agonizing death.
"Delta! Delta!" All while Belta kept trying to call out to him. Not knowing that after a few seconds, the Geist decided to finish their game and end the man faster. Leaving only a pile of shredded clothes and ruined flesh being in the cockpit seat.
"!" It was only just a bit after did Belta at last saw the jet being turned boney and black, with Geists masks appearing on the surface. It didn't take long to realize what had happened. Especially when the glass dome opened, and she saw what could only be described as a red mess in shredded clothes fly out with the pilot seat before the parachute activated.
"You bastards!"
Immediately Belta turned the jet and fired at the Geist jet. Wishing to avenge her partner and friend, anger blinding her.
"Belta! Belta! Stop!" Any words from the base were ignored. Belta was furious as she lashed out and fired upon the jet. Bullets tore right through it and ripped it apart until the jet exploded. Killing all the Geist that mutilated her partner as the wrecked jet fell into the ocean.
Breathing heavily, Belta still felt miserable, even after avenging her partner.
"Belta!"
She won't have long to feel that way. As suddenly a glint was noticed through the edge of her eye. Where Belta turned her head and shrieked.
Her jet turned sharply towards the left as metal parts from the hull nearly got her. The Geist plane now flying back evenly and in position, with one less threat to it. The Hound growling in what could be irritation. Having hoped that Belta's anger would have blinded her long enough to kill her when she was distracted killing the Geist. Such a shame.
"Little-!" Belta bit her lip, snarling. Rageful at how the Grimm used her anger against her. Nearly getting hit. Well then, time to return the favor.
"Woah!" Mercury screamed as he slammed into the floor. Emerald just barely held on to the seat she sat on while feeling queasy through her stomach. Then he felt himself slam onto the cabinet wall as some bottles fell on him. One hitting his head.
"Emerald felt her body slug forward but held on tight to the armrest. "Just what the hell is going on?"
"Like I would know." Mercury shouted back, feeling the plane stabilize. "Still, safe to say a fight is happening." It would explain the loud noise they heard and the noise the Grimm are making.
"Seriously? A fight?" With who though? Emerald didn't know, but judging from how she heard what she's certain was a missile, it didn't sound good. "Damn! Don't tell me we could crash?"
"Hopefully not." Mercury got back up, holding tight to a chair in the cabin. "But just in case…" Mercury made his way to the cockpit of the plane. Opening the door, he had to hold tight as he could feel the air trying to suck him out from the broken window the Hound burst through before. Thankfully, the plane was flying a lot lower than a plane normally would, so the suction wasn't all that strong.
'Still, better be careful.' Mercury then checked what he was certain was a camera monitor. Going towards it, carefully, Mercury then began flipping through the camera screens to see what was up. After a bit, he found his answer. "...damn."
"What is it?" Emerald called out. Feeling the plane lurch again while hearing what sounded like gunfire.
"Bogey on our tail!" Mercury shouted.
"Seriously?!"
"Yes, seriously!" The plane then shaked. "And safe to say this plane will go down if they aren't dealt with." Possessed plane or not, that jet had genuine weapons. This plane had nothing to actually defend itself with. At this rate, it was clear all the Hound could do was buy time at best. The camera shows gunfire being shot out with bits of metal and dead Geist smoke leaving the plane. Mercury then shouted back at Emerald, "Don't suppose you can…you know?"
"I can't make her see an illusion from here!" And no way is Emerald going outside.
"...fair." Mercury shrugged, wondering what they could even do. Not much ideas though, seeing as how it was impossible for the two humans to accomplish anything in this situation.
Unless…seeing a certain button, Mercury had an idea.
The back of the plane was smoking with some of it now looking normal. Glass windows cracked and broken, with parts of the plane falling off by this point. The Hound turned and saw land, but it was unlikely this plane would even make it.
Pew. Pew. Pew.
Especially it, as the jet flew upward and fired countless bullets at it. The Geist sacrifice their lives to defend it, with the Hound escaping the slew of bullets. Yet even so, it knew that at this rate, they were pinned.
As for Belta, while she was still angry, she was more in control of her emotions. Expertly dodging metal lunged at her while firing back in response. Even aiming at the Hound when she could, though focused mainly on the plane.
'Sick freak is almost dead.' Belta thought as she could tell she's nearly there. Having enough bullets to destroy as much as she needed. The plane itself already having lost good parts of itself both to her attacks and the Geist desperately removing more to try and get her.
Belta then flew downward to see if she could fire below the plane. As she did so, she then readied herself to shoot again.
Whrrrr.
Only for her to see the plane's luggage storage area opening up.
Confused, the pilot watched as bits of suitcases and bags flew out. After a second, Belta decided to ignore this and resume firing onto the plane and finish what she started.
Splat!
"?!" Only to see red on the glass cover. Red…with bits of a hand?
It was at this point, Belta then felt her blood go cold. Because as the luggage storage opened up more and more, red liquid could be seen pouring out, some of which hit the glass screen on her jet. But even worse, she saw what could only be known as bodies flying out.
Dead bodies. All of which started flying out with some of them not even whole, but with pieces of them falling into the ocean. It was then Belta realized, this is what happened to the people onboard. They hadn't just been killed. Their bodies were then shoved and stored onto the plane's luggage storage and put there to rot. It sickened her. Disgusted her. Her own body feeling like it could throw up at such a sight.
This action would give the Hound the precious few seconds it needed.
Land was still away. About maybe around thirty minutes or so through the plane. But you know, even if it was slower and more time consuming, it wasn't as if the Hound needed a plane to get there.
"Ruaghhh!" With a roar, the Hound then burst a pair of wings and then let go of the plane. As for the plane itself, to Belta's horror, all the Geist flew out of it.
Crrrr.
Though not without first, grabbing Mercury and Emerald, who went unnoticed by Belta, and then ensured the plane was a bit more damaged. As during their leaving, the Geist left only after removing as many bolts as possible. The very damaged plane breaking apart into giant heaps of metal. All of which flew towards Belta who could only scream as the last thing she saw, was a bloody hull coming right at her and-
BOOOMMM!
The broken pieces of the plane fell into the sea. The countless Geist and Hound, flying in the air, then go towards land. The former has two Geist carrying Mercury and Emerald. Emerald looked at the pieces that fell into the sea, then towards land.
It seems another person died.
Just the same as usual.
Welp, this is it. We're nearly done. The Hound has escaped once more along with the others. And will soon meet up with Salem, where a small time skip will happen. It'll be after the battle in Nowhere, where Salem makes a move that will give her faction and allies a HUGE advantage in the future.
Hope you like it, because the next chapter is the last chapter. And I may as well go out with a bang.
