"So ah… if we have everything sorted… ah… yes. Good" the ringleader of the little would-be insurgence was clearly rattled as he tried to make out this was all a misunderstanding. A little amusing really. Ianto didn't really care. He expected some push back here and there at time, he was not insulted as it was really too funny. He knew they had retreated for most of the evening to talk it over, and then agree that they needed to pull their collective heads in. Lest they be removed from their shoulders.

Ianto was more interested in the scuttlebutt going around about the latest baby count, the new pregnancies being recorded were off the charts with at least twenty going to be born come Christmas. Goddess save us… Ianto knew they would soon have to look at a nursery for larger numbers. They can't keep shoving the babies in with the older kids, these were not normal kids or babies.

The school count use a revamp too, he needed to talk to the others about that. Maybe they could convert one of the now uninhabited rooms from the old sparing and training quarters for this. The new improved training facility was top of the line with the larger equipment for the Judoon who loved the fact they had been thought of. Ianto liked it too, truth be told. He often joined in the sparing to keep his body limber. He was also pleased to see others pushing themselves to use heavier stuff than they were originally trained for, producing some very buff people. Not only was the place flourishing, it was expanding in every way possible.

So it was no real surprise as he sat there going over the numbers and calculating next year's growth that he saw the need to build more to accommodations for the new families and pregnancies the place was now experiencing.

"What are you doing Tada?" Nicholas asked in his little sing song voice, a hand resting on his Taddy's knee with an affectionate pat.

"Well I estimate a growth increase in the population of about fifteen percent of the next year. We have so many pregnant, I think more over the next six months will fall and we have some of the singles in group accommodations now pairing off to form a family unit." Ianto explained like he was speaking with another adult.

"We need to build more homes for them" the little head nodded as he saw the problem his father was chewing over instantly.

"Yes."

"We need a new one too" the little boy looked up at his Taddy as he leaned into him for a hug and Ianto smiled as he cuddled him close.

"Oh? Do we?"

"Well, you and Taddy need a room. Ali is here ALLLLL the time and she needs a room cos she is a girlie with girlie stuff. The twins need a room, maybe one each cos they fight sometimes. I need a room and sister will need a room. That's…. six. And Grandpa needs one for when he visits too so seven. Seven bedrooms. Plus two offices and out kitchen and living room… at least two bathrooms … Big" the little boy snuggled in as he got the love and affection his Taddy never had at this age and as Ianto lifted him to a knee to kiss his face he pondered this strange fact that they were indeed a large family with the kids all sharing space.

"Well, it is how I was raised I guess. We all slept in barracks together. It did not occur to me that you might all like your own spaces" he finally admitted to his son.

"We all have stuff. You did not have stuff, you shared everything and owned nothing. We all have stuff of our own and it gets mixed up. We fight about it" Nicholas leaned back to look into his Taddy's face "And you ARE the boss. Why do you not have a Boss Place?"

"A Boss Place?" Ianto was amused now and then he registered the room count "hang on, what do you mean, one for sister?"

"Well, we still want a sister. Ali is cool but she is my cousin not my sister. And she is not that cute and cuddly. I want a baby sister to cuddle and love. Lulu sez I was supposed to be a girlie and I feel a bit sad that he was disappointed when I came out with a tallywhacker."

"Stop calling Lucifer lulu" Ianto giggled softly as he kissed his son's forehead "well, I for one was so delighted to meet you when you came out I did not care if you were born with a devil's tail. I sort of half-pie expected it really."

They giggled together as Ianto pondered this then frowned, that niggle getting stronger.

Oh my.

Was the reason for the focus on babies… no.

Oh gods, not another one.

Ianto went to find Owen so he could confirm what he knew his son was hinting at already.

He was preggers again.
