Chloe (Guest): Thanks.

Daisy was in her room, sitting on the side of her bed by herself. In her hands, she had a picture of a sonogram of the baby. The baby that she would now have to raise without the man she loved, the baby that would now have to grow up with only his mother and not their father. The thought of it, the very thought of it, broke Daisy's heart. Barry was dead - gone at least. Though he had promised otherwise, he wasn't going to be there to help raise his and Daisy's child. Their little boy, their son. Simmons and other doctors had managed to confirm that the baby Daisy was having was a boy. Even though Daisy was only a few days into the pregnancy, they were able to tell with some advanced technology that Tony had provided from Stark Industries. He decided that it was the least he could do for Daisy and Barry. Silently, Daisy continued looking at the picture as she held it, looking down on it strongly. She would have to be the only parent the boy would ever have, she would have to raise him by herself. And she would. For the child. For Luke… and for Barry.

"I'll protect you," Daisy promised, looking at the picture of her future son as she stuttered, tears pouring from her eyes. "No matter what. I promise…Luke."

Word of Barry's death, as The Flash, had spread across S.H.I.E.L.D. and eventually the entirety of the world. It was only a matter of time before even the prisoners overheard about the death of the Flash. Even Thawne had heard and found out. When he did, his reaction (as per from the point of view of S.H.I.E.L.D.) was rather surprising. He was surprisingly upset and even sad. Not to the point where he was crying tears or mourning but to the point where his behavior had changed. He was silent and never spoke to the guards, his evil and maniacal smile was non-existent. Perhaps, during all his years of rivalry with Barry, he never truly realized how much he needed and wanted his enemy. Only now, when Barry was gone and declared dead, did Thawne truly realize how important his rivalry with Barry was to him.

Several months passed from the fateful day in February when both Barry and Godspeed had died. It was currently November 30th, 2016. A little over nine months since that day. It had been just a week since Daisy's son, Luke, was born. In the time that had passed since February, several events occurred. Wanda had woken up from her coma two weeks after Barry's death and was informed on everything. The information was a rather large amount for her to process. In May, the Avengers had split and turned against each other in Civil War over the Sokovia Accords, which essentially demanded that the Avengers be put on a leash by the U.N. Tony, in his infinite uncharacteristic wisdom, had sided with the Accords, much to no one's shock. The man had a reasonable amount of guilt on his conscience over Ultron and everyone was too focused on the Accords situation to blame anybody for taking sides. The whole situation escalated from a battle of the Avengers at an airport parking lot to Steve and Bucky having to fight off a bloodlusted Tony over Hydra controlling Bucky into murdering Tony's parents. The Accords were eventually approved as Steve, Natasha, and the rest of Steve's team (who were broken out from prison thanks to Steve and some help from Coulson) went into hiding, having been rogue fugitives.

Daisy, who was currently occupied with a one-week-old Luke, had gone with them due to having been in danger from Ross and the Accords as she was an enhanced individual, or simply an Inhuman. T'Challa, who was to be King of Wakanda, came to Steve's aid and offered his friends sanctuary at Wakanda, a hidden city of advanced technology buried deep within the heart of Africa. Steve, in both gratefulness and desperation, had accepted as he, Natasha, Daisy, and the rest of his faction had been hiding there, using the city as a base of operations. Daisy had stayed behind, having wanted to take care of Luke. Everyone else, having had nothing to do, opted to stay back. Clint was occupied with his family, who with T'Challa's help was able to escape from the threat of Ross and remain in Wakanda. Everyone was currently in a bit of a resting period. Daisy remained rather closed off, focusing on Luke and on taking care of him. She was occasionally starting to open up to Wanda and Natasha, who proceeded carefully, having known the pain Daisy was going through. Currently, Daisy was in her room, on her feet as she paced around the room. Luke, her one-week old son, was in her arms, covered in soft blankets as Daisy lightly swayed her arms, humming to him as he remained asleep and peaceful. Daisy continued pacing around the room before she suddenly noticed someone at the door of her room.

"Hey." Wanda said softly as she and Natasha both came through the door, standing beside Daisy.

Daisy flashed both of them with a weak smile. "Hey."

"How's our little champ doing?" Natasha grinned.

"Sleepy," Daisy replied. "You know I think Wanda might just be his favorite aunt."

"And now you've painted a target on my back," Wanda muttered as Daisy let out a huff of a laugh.

Natasha made a fake frowning face as she looked at little Luke. "Traitor."

Suddenly, a few feet away from the girls, a large blue portal seemingly filled with clouds opened as they all looked over. Wanda and Natasha instantly stood in front of Daisy, who turned her back to the portal, arms protectively holding onto Luke, who was awake due to the sound of the portal. As Natasha pulled out a pair of knives and Wanda summoned red energy to her hand, a certain latino man with long black hair jumped through the portal, which closed behind him. He was immediately greeted by Natasha grabbing him and pinning him to the wall, a knife at his throat.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa," the latino man said quickly. "Calm down, it's okay. I'm not a bad guy. What is this? Knives Out?" Natasha then pressed the knife harder against the man's throat, ready for it to pierce his skin. "Okay, okay, okay. Bad joke."

"Who are you?" Wanda demanded.

"Answer the question if you want to live," Natasha threatened.

"M-my name is Cisco Ramon," the man revealed as Daisy, Wanda, and Natasha's eyes grew large with shock. "A guy we both know sent me here. Barry Allen. Y'know? Six feet two inches tall, brown hair. Blue eyes. Known for running pretty dang fast."

"W-what did you say?" Daisy asked in shock, half-concentrated on calming a crying Luke down and half-concentrated on what Cisco was saying.

"Barry sent me here," Cisco said in panic. "He said he had stopped Godspeed and that he needed me to bring you guys here. He said something about someone named Daisy Johnson."

"B-B-Barry's…alive?" Daisy asked, tears in her eyes as she stared at Cisco in shock as Wanda and Natasha exchanged looks of disbelief.

"Y-yeah," Cisco said, desperately trying to get away from the knife Natasha had to his throat. "He said he hoped Luke or Emilia was alright. I wasn't sure what he meant, he just told me to say that to whoever Daisy Johnson was."

"Barry told us about a Cisco Ramon," Natasha said. "If you're really him, then tell us something only the real Cisco would know. When Barry came back from Flashpoint, why were you pissed at him?"

Cisco pursed his lips as he spoke bitterfully. "Because my brother died due to the timeline changes and he wouldn't go back in time to save him."

Natasha looked back to Wanda who tilted her head.

"I'm convinced," Wanda said as her red energy dissipated.

Natasha released Cisco as she pulled her knives back. Daisy was in a mix of shock and tears as she tried to control herself, focusing on Luke, who was still crying and whining as she looked back between him and Cisco.

"I'm, uh, I'm assuming by the baby in your hands that you're Daisy," Cisco said, pointing at Daisy.

"Y-yeah," Daisy said, holding back her tears.

"And is that-" Cisco tried to say.

Daisy nodded. "Luke. My son. Mine and Barry's."

"Y'know, he'd be here," Cisco said. "Barry, I mean, it's just that Joe's really holding him back. Plus, he's been dealing with a lot of crap back there. He just…asked me to bring you to Earth 1."

"With everything going on, I think that'd be a good idea," Natasha said as she looked at Cisco. "We should get everyone together. You, Mr. Ramon, have a lot of explaining to do."

"Oh yeah," Cisco said, nodding his head. "There's a long story."

Earth 1

A Few Hours Ago

"No, Iris, I haven't found anything and my answer hasn't changed since when you last asked me thirty seconds ago!"

Cisco leaned back in his chair, letting out a huff of annoyance as Iris scoffed, unwilling to believe that Cisco or anyone would've spoken to her the way he had. Caitlin, Joe, Harry, H.R., Wally, and Jesse were spread throughout the cortex of S.T.A.R. Labs as Cisco took a break from his search for Barry. He had been searching the entire planet with the satellites for Barry's speed force signature as he had been doing so for hours. He and the team had been getting repeated results of Barry's signature not being detected. Eventually, Harry proposed checking for Barry's signature across alternate earths with some of his Earth 2 technology. Everyone agreed as they adjusted the trackers to search for Barry's signature to see if it was detected across different earths.

"Guys, let's take a break," Caitlin suggested. "We're all very tired."

Everyone agreed as they all slowly left the cortex, leaving Caitlin and Cisco alone. Caitlin slowly walked up to the desk that Cisco was at as he eyed her. She opened her mouth to speak only to be cut off by the sound of a phone ringing. Cisco pulled out his phone as he pressed the green answer button before holding the phone to his ear.

"Hey Alfred," Cisco greeted as there was a pause. "Yeah. Okay. He get anything?" There was a few seconds of silence from Cisco. "Okay. Tell Bruce thanks for us, okay?" Another pause. "Yeah, you too. Okay. Bye."

Cisco pressed the red end call button as he slipped his phone back into his pocket.

"Was that Alfred?" Caitlin asked.

"Yeah," Cisco said. "I sent some of the Earth 2 tech from Harry's over to Bruce in Gotham. He adjusted it to the Wayne Enterprises tech and satellite to look for Barry. Alfred was calling to say Bruce didn't get anything."

"Did Barry ever mention anything about leaving Earth 1 to Bruce?" Caitlin asked.

"I don't know," Cisco said, leaning back in his chair. "All we know is that Barry went to Gotham for a month to train with Bruce, he ran back with the tachyon before getting pulled into a breach. Whether he did that willingly or not, we don't know."

"Do you think he would have left willingly?" Caitlin asked.

Cisco sighed as he looked down with a guilty look. "After how much of a jerk I was to him? Yeah, probably."

"Cisco, that wasn't what I meant."

"It's still true."

Caitlin immediately sat in the chair next to him as she placed her hand on his shoulder, the two of them looking into one another's eyes.

"Cisco," Caitlin said softly. "This is not your fault. Even if Barry left on his own, it wasn't because of you."

"You don't know that," Cisco argued. "Barry should hate me for everything I said to him."

"No," Caitlin said. "Barry loved you. He loved all of us and there's nothing that could ever change that. I know. If there is so much as a fraction of the Barry Allen we know out there, I know that he will never stop loving and caring about us the way he always has."

Cisco nodded. "Y'know, the truth is. I think I'm willing to forgive him for Flashpoint. I don't even think it's because I'm ready, I just - I just want my best friend back."

"Me too." Caitlin said sadly.

A small, sad smile formed on Cisco's face. "Remember that time when we made Barry run to the same noodle place seven times."

Caitlin smiled. "We kept wanting more toppings and side orders."

"Barry ended up screaming, he was like 'I've been running to this place seven times!" Cisco made an awkward impression of a yelling Barry.

"He was so mad." Caitlin said, smiling upon the memory.

"Yeah," Cisco said, his and Caitlin's smiles dying down. "He kinda was."

Suddenly, an alarm began blaring through the entire S.T.A.R. Labs facility. Cisco and Caitlin jumped as Wally and Jesse sped Joe, Iris, Harry, and H.R. inside the cortex. Cisco immediately began typing onto the keyboard, scanning through satellite detection and scanning.

"What's going on?" Wally asked.

"Satellite scanning is picking a massive amount of energy piling up in Central City," Cisco said as he stared at the screen in shock. "And I'm talking a lot. You have enough to level several continents here."

"Wait a minute," Harry paused in confusion as he stared at the readings of the energy. "These readings are familiar…" Then, it hit him as the look on his face changed to realization. "This is speed force energy."

"Where is it?" Jesse asked.

"Downtown," Caitlin explained.

"There have to be civilians there," Wally pointed out. "We need to get them out of there."

"Uh-uh," Joe said. "Too dangerous, you're not ready, Wally."

"Dad, c'mon!" Wally urged.

"No, Wally," Joe said sternly. "We've already lost Barry. We can't lose anyone else. I can't lose anyone else."

"I'll go," Jesse declared. "Let me."

"Be careful." Harry said as Jesse nodded before speeding off in a flash of yellow lightning.

Dressed in her suit, Jesse sped through the streets of Central City before arriving downtown in a few moments. She immediately noticed several civilians evacuating the area, running from the large, blue portal, which had several bolts of lightning striking all over the area. Instantly, Jesse scanned the area with her eyes before running all over the area, speeding civilians and pedestrians far away. Then, after spending a few seconds evacuating the civilians, Jesse skidded to a halt, standing in front of the speed force portal.

"Okay, I've got all the civilians I could outta here." Jesse said into her comms.

"Score one for Jesse Quick!" H.R.'s cheery voice echoed through the comms channel.

"Guys," Jesse said in a worried tone. "This portal doesn't look like it's closing."

Suddenly, a large explosion of energy came from the portal as Jesse was sent flying several yards before falling onto the ground painfully. Jesse groaned in pain as the powerful light from the energy blinded her, forcing her to look away from the direction of which the explosion came from. For a few seconds, Jesse remained on the ground, groaning in pain from her fall before recovering a few seconds after it. She slowly rose to her feet, pushing past her pain as she stumbled onto her feet. It took her a few seconds to realize that her comms were filled with worried voices.

"Jesse, you okay?" Wally asked worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Jesse said in confusion as she looked around the area. "The portal's closed. It's gone."

"We detected a massive surge of energy before it disappeared." Cisco explained as Jesse spotted something unusual from the spot of the portal.

"Guys," Jesse said as she sped over to what she saw before staring down in shock. "I think you're gonna wanna see this."

"What? What is it?" Harry asked through the comms.

Jesse stared in disbelief and shock at what she was seeing. A man in a damaged black suit of armor with no mask to cover his bruised and bloodied face. The man's armor was extremely damaged, shredded, and ripped apart.

"It's Barry," Jesse deadpanned as she could feel and hear the gasps of shock through the comms. "He's here."

Later

"How is this possible?" Joe asked in shock.

Barry was laying in the hospital bed of the medical bay. He was changed out of his armor into some jeans, Nike shoes and an unzipped, dark blue jacket. His injuries were extensive and even with his speed healing, Caitlin stated that he needed hours of rest and recovery.

"We don't know," Caitlin admitted. "He came through whatever breach the speed force opened but we don't know how or why."

"It's like it just brought him here," Cisco said.

"The speed force doesn't do that," Harry argued. "He had to have come through the speed force on his own."

"Is he okay? Is he alright?" Iris demanded, placing her hand on Barry's.

"He's seriously injured," Caitlin stated. "I don't know what happened to him but it's like he survived some sort of massive, powerful explosion. Even with his speed healing, he needs hours of rest to fully recover from his injuries."

Suddenly, Barry shot up from his bed, sitting up straight as he gasped, startling everyone, who turned around to face him.

"Barr?" Joe said, moving past Cisco and Caitlin as he went to Barry's side.

Barry pulled off the syringes off him as he stumbled around the medical bay, crashing into and pushing over carts, unknowingly creating a mess in the area. It was as if he couldn't see or hear properly.

"W-where am I?" Barry said, looking down as he groaned in pain.

"Barry, it's okay, you're home, you're safe." Iris said, trying to look him in the eyes.

"Where is she?" Barry demanded, pulling himself from Iris' grip as he stumbled over to the door, leaning on the edge with one arm, the other resting above an injury on his stomach.

"Barry, it's okay, I'm right here." Iris said, her attempts at 'comforting' Barry visibly.

Barry forced himself out of Iris' grip once more. "Daisy…where is she? Luke…Emilia."

Suddenly, Barry's legs gave away as he collapsed to the ground, falling onto his side. He groaned in pain from the fall as Caitlin and Cisco immediately came to his aid. Barry laid on his back as he sighed before his eyes closed, the world around fading to black as he slipped into the dark canyon of unconsciousness.

It wouldn't be for another two hours until Barry would wake up. He found himself back in the hospital bed of the medical bay. This time, he was more calm and relaxed as he slowly opened his eyes. He saw the team scattered throughout the med bay. Cisco and Caitlin were on opposite sides of the bed. Joe was sitting on a chair by the edge. Wally and Jesse were elsewhere together in the med bay. Harry was kneeling by the side of the door. Iris was beside Cisco, closer to one of the sides of Barry's bed. H.R., with his drumsticks, was in the middle of the room. Everyone stared at Barry as he slightly lifted his head off the pillow, looking around in confusion.

"There he is," H.R. said with a smile.

"H.R.?" Barry said in confusion.

H.R. performed a bow before standing tall before Barry. "At your service, B.A."

"Where am I?" Barry said as he tried to get up only to wince in pain and force himself back down.

"Hey, take it easy," Caitlin said, resting her hand on his shoulder. "You're in a pretty serious condition. Even with your healing, I don't know how you're still alive. It's like you-"

"Tanked a nuclear explosion?" Barry asked, closing his eyes as he groaned, leaving everyone inside the room in confusion.

"Yeah," Caitlin said. "Barry, you've been gone for almost a month."

But it wasn't a month. Not for him, at least. No. For him, it was more than two years. Two years since he had been inside S.T.A.R. Labs, two years since he had seen any of their faces.

"I know," Barry said. "Look guys, I'll explain everything. But right now, I really need to get up."

Once again, Barry tried to get up only to be forced back down by the pain from his body yet again.

"Hey Barry, stop," Iris said, lightly putting her hands on his chest as he laid back down. "You heard what Caitlin said, you need rest."

"She's right," Harry said, clearing his throat as he adjusted his glasses. "Take it easy, Allen. Get some rest. Then you can explain everything to us."

"Just take it easy, Barr," Joe said, patting Barry's leg. "We're here if you need anything."

Suddenly, Iris pulled out her phone as she looked at it quickly. Barry mentally hoped and prayed that she would leave, having not wanted to face her. Especially with everything he had with Daisy and the baby.

"It's CCPN," Iris explained. "They need me for an urgent story."

"You should go," Barry said quickly as Iris frowned.

"Barry, no, you're hurt," Iris argued.

"Iris, I'll be fine," Barry said. "It's your job and I'm not going anywhere. Besides, you said it yourself, I need rest."

"Okay," Iris said as she patted his forehead. "I'll be back soon, okay?"

Barry nodded as he kept hoping and praying desperately for Iris to leave. Eventually, she did as everyone cleared through the room. Joe was the last one to leave as he patted Barry's shoulder, looking at him with a smile through his tears. Tears of a father who finally had his son back. Barry gave him a weak smile. Joe then left as Barry rested and relaxed his body, staring up at the ceiling. A singular thought came to him as he whispered a few words from his lips.

"I'm coming, Daisy," Barry whispered.

After just fifteen minutes, Barry opened the door to the medical bay as he limped out, slowly limp-walking to the cortex as he was greeted by looks of surprise and shock from his fellow teammates.

"Barr, you should be resting," Joe said sternly as he walked over to Barry.

"This can't wait," Barry said urgently as he limped over.

Suddenly, Barry tripped as he fell only for Joe to catch him, holding his arms. Joe stood tall as Barry rested one of his arms around Joe's shoulders, allowing for him to stand.

"Thank you, Joe," Barry said.

"Never need to thank me, Barr." Joe said.

"Barry, c'mon," Caitlin said. "You should be in bed."

"Yeah man," Wally said. "Look if it's the city you're worried about, we got it. Jesse's taking care of everything."

"It's not just that," Barry said as he leaned on Joe. "There's something I need to tell you. All of you. When I was gone, I was on another earth. For you guys, I know it's been barely a month. But for me, it's been more than two years."

A/N: I'm gonna stop here. This is where the Earth 1 meets Earth 199999 arc begins. The next chapter will continue with Cisco's story and have the Avengers actually meet Team Flash and the rest of Earth 1.

Daisy's child is a boy. So the baby's full name is Luke Henry Allen. He was born on November 23, 2016. In case there's any confusion, the Godspeed arc took place in February of 2016. So the pregnancy timings check out.
