Sigrid had exited the Gilbert residence in time to see Elijah crossing the road to his parked car. She excitedly runs up to him so she could fall into step beside him.

"You won't believe what has just happened, Lijah! Someone saw me!" She pauses for a moment, to beam up at her mate only to scold herself for her foolishness. The fact that Jeremy saw her didn't mean anything else had changed. She puts on a brave smile and continues, albeit with a little less enthusiasm. "I know, I too can barely contain my excitement!"

She easily slides into the vehicle, nestling herself in the car seat whilst waiting for Elijah to start the car. "It's Jeremy, he's not a medium though." Sigrid's mind wanders momentarily to the multiple occasions where she had tried to reach a medium or fortune teller, her efforts had of course been fruitless. "Have you met him? It's Elena's brother, he's very kind and smart, and a great listener."

Elijah fastens his seatbelt, mind elsewhere. He was quite content with his productive day. Besides striking a deal with the doppelgänger, he had successfully contacted someone who would be of use later on.

As a bonus, he would get to speak with Katerina after her act of treachery 500 years ago. He was curious to see if there would be any lingering feelings towards the woman that had claimed to love him.

Despite having heightened emotions, feelings would come and go through the centuries, almost as if he was able to filter some things out. Even the loss of his precious mate had become durable after a few centuries, without flipping his switch.

"I have set up a meeting with Rose, who will contact you. Jeremy can be our translator of some sort. You will be able to hear me again." Sigrid sighs happily. "We can find Nik, force him to undagger the others and we can be happy again."

Sigrid straightens in her seat when she notices Elijah driving towards the forest instead of their home, well his home really. "Wait! Where are we going? More curse business?"

Sigrid jumps out of the car and follows Elijah, who was striding with determination further into the woods."Are we taking a moonlit stroll? How very romantic. Remember when you showed me the stars?"

She and Elijah had met up just outside the village one evening and Elijah had surprised her with honey-preserved fruits. "You referred to those twinkling lights as the..." Sigrid suddenly halts, a disheartened expression replacing her joyful one at the realization of no longer remembering Elijah's exact words.

Sigrid swallows the lump in her throat and blinks a few times, trying to hold back the tears upon realizing she was starting to forget certain important events. Of course, Sigrid couldn't remember every detail of her time spent with the Mikaelsons, but she had prided herself on her good memory in the past.

Shaking her head a little she runs to keep up with Elijah, who had gone down a flight of stone stairs. She would have plenty of time to grieve about this unpleasant development later. "Why are we going down the- Katerina."

Sigrid freezes as she sees the infamous doppelgänger standing at the entrance of what seemed to be a badly lit crypt.

Sigrid lets a tired sob escape as she wanders through the dark forest. She felt perfectly justified for having a small pity party, upon the discovery of her fading memory and the reunion between Katerina and Elijah. To make matters worse she had decided to search for her and Henrik's graves. Which was why she had spent the last hour treading through the woods. If her feet could ache, they would have.

The moment Sigrid had locked eyes on the doppelgänger she had fled the scene, too confused to know what else to do.

Meeting Jeremy had given her the hope of speaking with Elijah again and maybe, just maybe, he could find a way to bring her back. But seeing the doppelgänger who had cheated both Elijah and Niklaus proved to be too much for the girl. It once again confirmed that the world hadn't stood still during her absence and that things could impossibly be the same as before her death.

Sigrid glances nervously at the plain clock that hung from one of Elijah's apartment walls. It was strange to have plans, to have to keep an eye on the time. But it did fill her with a giddy feeling, someone was waiting for her, expecting her presence. Her dreary mood from last night had cleared up once she realized she could ask Elijah what he had said about the stars during their late-night date. She hadn't found her and Henrik's graves so she would also have to inform Elijah about that.

Her gaze shifts to her mate, he had been busy with paperwork all morning, perhaps he was investing in new real estate again. Being in the presence of any of the Mikaelsons always brought Sigrid joy, but now that she had interacted with someone after so long it felt unfulfilling to merely observe the actions of the Mikaelsons. She was feeling less talkative. With a determined expression, she jumps up from her seat.

"I have to go now, I have a very important appointment. I will see you soon, Elskede." She declares, her words once more landing on deaf ears. Sigrid lets her hand hover close to Elijah's back to imitate patting him on the shoulder before exiting the apartment, giddily running towards the Gilbert residence.

"Hi, Jer!" Sigrid happily plops herself beside Jeremy on the couch, a bright smile on her face. She was beyond pleased to see the boy again. His startled expression told her that she hadn't hallucinated yesterday's events and she could indeed be perceived by the young Gilbert.

"Can you not sneak up on me?" Jeremy hisses after recovering from the initial shock. His hand still clutching his chest. He lets his eyes dart to the kitchen, Jenna didn't seem to notice his startled movements seeing as she was still bent over the stove.

"I didn't sneak, a ghost can't sneak." Sigrid explains self-righteously, chin lifting a little.

Jeremy grumbles something under his breath before gazing back at the television.

"Are you nervous?" Sigrid asks, breaking the silence. She hoped dearly she hadn't upset Jeremy. Every friendship would have to suffer arguments sooner or later, but she had hoped to avoid it for a little bit longer.

"Well, seeing as I might get my neck snapped again, yes, a little." Jeremy mumbles from the corner of his mouth.

"What do you mean?" Sigrid had also taken on a whisper tone despite it being unnecessary. She frowns a little upon seeing Jeremy's troubled expression.

"Damon, he killed me once. This ring brought me back, but it was an unpleasant experience altogether, one I'd rather not repeat." Jeremy wiggles his fingers for Sigrid's face, displaying the rather striking ring.

Sigrid swallows before nodding solemnly. "If I ever get out of wherever I am, I'm personally going to kick his ass." She wasn't sure how, but she would make the arrogant vampire suffer for hurting Jeremy, the extent to which depended on the vampire's behavior today.

"Please do." Jeremy nods in approval, although he knew it would most likely never happen, seeing as Damon would simply shove the girl aside or something.

"You're a little early." Jeremy notes after a moment of silence, eyes darting towards the clock. Rose and Damon wouldn't meet him at the Grill for another half an hour.

"I didn't want to be late." Sigrid admits, a blush covering her cheeks. "I haven't had an appointment in forever, so I thought it best to be early."

"That's alright. Do you want to watch something?" With a flourish, he presents the remote.

Sigrid grins, eye lighting up at the idea of having a say in what would be displayed on the miracle invention that was called television.

"Hey Jer, can you-are you watching a Disney movie?" Jenna stops her sentence halfway, gobsmacked by her cousin who seemed to be enjoying the cheerful movie Tangled.

Jeremy freezes, eyes shifting from the TV to his aunt and back. He realized he would be teased for this incident for many years to come, only because he wanted to indulge his ghost friend. "Yes?"

"Since when do you watch those?" Jenna teases, a bright smile on her face. She thought it cute, remembering how she had spent many rainy afternoons watching movies with a young Jeremy and Elena whilst babysitting them.

"I was feeling nostalgic..." Jeremy grimaces, decidedly ignoring Sigrid's joyful expression.
