NO. 16 NO WAY OUT

Prompt: Mind Control Paralytic Drugs "No one's coming.'

The Handler had a back up plan installed in the mind of her favorite agent.

They all saw it.

The change in Five.

He was over the Handler with his hand on her throat, threatening her to leave. She was shattering their happiness, and was upset that Lila had abandoned her so easily.

She said something to him that made him freeze. They couldn't hear what it was, but as Five's hand retreated from the Handler's neck she gave Lila a look that sent a chill down the younger woman's spine.

Five stood back slowly and turned towards the rest of his siblings.

There were no emotions in his eyes, his face blank.

"Mum, you didn't," Lila said, fists clenched.

"What did she do?" Allison asked, eyes on the scene.

"You honestly didn't think with someone like your brother, we wouldn't have taken EXTRA precautions, did you?"

"A sleeper code?" Diego posed it as a question, but it was simply confirming his thoughts.

"This has to be a joke," Klaus said simply. "Five…come on."

"Make no mistake," the Handler said with a smile. She turned to Five and stroked his cheek, leaning forward to plant a kiss on it. The action turned all of their stomach's. "He is mine."

"If there's an activation word, there's one to deactivate…" Lila said low to Allison and Viktor, who she was closest to.

"Do you know what that would be?" Viktor asked.

Lila thought as hard as she could, thinking through all of her mothers files, favorite drinks, people in her life…

"Lila?" Allison pushed.

"I'm thinking," Lila replied sharply.

"Five, my pet," the Handler said. "Take them down."

"Shit," Luther braced himself.

"You think of the word, in the meantime, we'll try to tire him out so he can't blink," Diego told Lila and the others. "Then we'll just have to go hand to hand."

Five blinked in front of him immediately, throwing a punch. Diego took it in the stomach, but turned around, swinging his arm behind him.

"I heard a rumor…" Allison started.

Five blinked over, punching her in the throat, causing her to collapse immediately, choking and gasping for air.

Luther saw red from there, and charged after Five like a bull. Five blinked, causing Luther to charge past and right into the wall, causing a slight collapse. The material that made up the structure collapsed on top of him.

Lila blinked right behind Five, but he swung around to black her swing. They were about equal hand to hand.

Viktor took advantage of the distraction and used the sound around them to create his energy to grab a hold of Five. He struggled as Five was trying to tear through the sound energy with his own.

"I think I can hold him, but it's hard…" Viktor informed the others.

Lila was running through words and phrases.

"Lila, I'm disappointed," her mother called over. "I would hope you would know me well enough." The Handler let out a laugh and then suddenly stopped, falling forward. Klaus stood behind her with a piece of the wall that came with Luther's collision.

"God and I thought we had a bad parent," he said looking down on her.

Five was beginning to slow down in Viktors energy.

"What's happening?" Diego said studying the scene.

"I'm listening to his heart beat, and syncing my energy to slow it down…" Viktor said. "I'm claiming him."

"You're putting him to sleep."

"Don't completely knock him out," Lila warned.

The newest member of the family marched over to the Handler.

She squatted down and grabbed the woman by her hair.

"You're right mummy dearest," she nearly spat. "I don't know you as well as I thought I did. But that's a good thing. Because I don't need you. I've got a new family now." She glanced at Allison and yanked more on the Handler's head to be sure she was watching.

"I heard a rumor you broke out of the Handler's control."

Fives eyes flashed white and his head drooped for a moment. He then lifted it, looking around confused.

"Viktor, what are you doing?" He demanded.

"Is that really you?" Klaus asked.

"What? Of course it is."

"The Handler had you brainwashed," Luther informed him, brushing the rest of the debris from his shoulders.

"I wouldn't say brainwashed.." The Handler started.

Diego tossed a knife over to Lila, who brought the blade up to the Handler's throat. She went silent.

Five realized what they said and looked at each of them, as if counting to be sure they were alright. Luther held onto Allison as she was finally able to pull herself together.

He looked at Viktor.

His little brother put him down, and Five simply dropped to his knees and looked at the Handler with fury and pain in his eyes.

Lila looked to Allison. "Would you like the honor?"

Allison turned to Five.

"I heard a rumor that any sleeper code words don't work on you," she enchanted.

Five's eyes flashed again.

Lila dragged her mother to her feet.

The Handler took an opportunity to trip her daughter up, giving her just enough time to grab the briefcase nearby and make her escape.

"Dammit!" Lila threw the knife into the floor in frustration.

"Five… are you alright." Viktor approached his brother and knelt down beside him.

"I could have killed someone," Five responded quietly.

"But you didn't," Lila came up on his other side. "It took the team, but we managed."

Five looked at everyone and landed his eyes on Lila. She reached over to wipe the lipstick from his cheek.

"What do you say we all get a stiff drink?" She asked, looking around.

"I think we deserve it."

I know- it's short and there could have been more action, but I'm still behind by a day in mg prompts. Maybe I'll revisit this story in some way in the future.
