Outside, in a quiet forest surrounded by trees and grassland was Clementine, standing near a tree facing away from the woods, the orange sky casting twilight on her. A butterfly flies onto the oak and stretches its wings. Her unrestrained hands curiously reach out, only for the butterfly to fly away upon Carley walking up to her.

"Hey, honey. You okay?" She asks in her most soothing mom voice. Clem shifts and looks to the side.

"I'm fine.."

The ex reporter forces a smile. "So.. Ben, Duck and Kenny huh? That's a crazy coincidence. You guys even know Shawn."

"It was nice to see most of them again, while the moment lasted." She distantly responds. Carley frowns and gets down to her level.

"I know it's.. Not ideal. We'll get out of this, I promise." Clem meets her eyes. Although the eleven year old doesn't believe her, she nods anyway.

"You 'bout done over there?" The brass voice of Troy demands. Standing next to him is Johnny, and behind both of them is William Carver, chatting on his walkie talkie. Carley stands up, rolling her eyes before turning around.

"Yeah, one second!" Sarah calls back, zipping her jeans as she approaches Clem and Carley. "Thanks for coming with me, it's scary out here."

"Of course. We're friends." The teenager smiles at her, but doesn't get much back.

"Well, whenever you need to pee, just let me know."

"Uh.. sure." Yesterday, Sarah was a crying, horrified mess. Now, a day later, she's back to normal, sheltered teenage girl mode. Clem had no idea what her deal was but wasn't going to press her for information here and now. Best to let sleeping dogs lie.

"Christa, you okay over there?" Carley calls out. Christa is ducking behind a bush, fluids projecting from her burning throat as she vomits into the shrubbery.

She tries her best not to gag or cough, but is only able to quiver out a "I'm almost done..!" before going back to throwing up. Nobody seems to notice though.

"How are things in the front?"

"Quiet. Not very eventful, outside of a few ominous questions." Carley hisses, touching her wound. She may have pushed herself a bit too hard. "Ah.. I gotta go sit down. Be good and we'll get past this, okay? We love you." She puts an affectionate hand on her hat, smiling genuinely now.

"Wait, how's Lee?"

"..Distant. Aren't we all?" She leaves her with that, sulking on her walk back into the passenger seat. She passes by Lee and Tisha, who seem to be having a passive conversation. Clem doesn't get to focus on her for long though, as Christa joins herself and Sarah.

"Are you okay?" The young girl asks her pregnant friend.

"Just.. doing my business." Christa answers, still panting.

Sarah giggles, a silly grin on her face as she hides her laughter behind a hand. "Hehe, business."

Troy approaches and smirks. "Everything come out alright, girls?" The experienced duo of Clem and Christa give poisonous glares. Sarah flinches and holds her arm, looking down awkwardly.

"Troy, get 'em tied up." Bill demands, sensing his right hand man's creepy tendencies.

"Will do." Troy purrs, yanking Sarah's wrist forward. He clamps down a pair of bindings and secures her hands. He then moves on to Christa and does the same, all while staring into her eyes. "..Shittin' in the woods ain't exactly ladylike." She wants so badly to rip his heart out and kill everyone else around her with his gun, but instead she continues to glare at him until he's done.

"Well we're on our way, probably thirty minutes out. Make sure everyone else is prepped. Emotions may be running high. Carver out." He turns off the radio before raising his head, finding Clementine staring at him. "It ain't polite to listen to other folks' conversations. Has anyone ever taught you that? Where's your manners?"

Johnny takes notice of Bill's grievance with the girl, while Troy is still busy tightening Christa's bindings. Sarah watches as well, concerned. She knows Bill better than the other girls around her, and therefore knows what he's capable of.

Choices (Clementine)

A: I had a radio like that

B: I know

C: I'm Sorry

D: [Keep Staring]

Relationships

(Addendum: Relationships are getting a rework. It's simple, but here's how it works:

Relationships can now go up to 15

0 = a character wishes death upon you

1-2 = hatred

3-4 = dislike

5 = neutral

6-7 = like

8-10 = trust and like

11-15 = love

Lee: 14/15 (Your plans intercepted perfectly, he thinks you handled the Carver takeover perfectly, even if everyone lost ultimately)

Carley: 15/15 (As usual, Carley is proud of you for admitting defeat instead of fighting)

Christa: 13/15 (She disagrees strongly with your choice, but understands why a little girl may surrender. Lee on the other hand…)

Molly: 13/15 (See Christa's reason)

Chuck: 15/15 (You made what he believes to be the smart choice)

Kenny: 9/15 (He doesn't agree with your decision to surrender. He believes you may have gotten his family in trouble)

Duck: 15/15

Ben: 14/15

Walter: 7/15 (He may hate Lee, but he doesn't hate you. He sees good in you and does like you, but he doesn't trust your group, and vicariously you)

Sarita: 7/15 (She doesn't trust your group, but she does like you a lot, seeing you as innocent in all this)

Luke: 10/15 (As much as he likes you, he can't deny that he thinks your decision wasn't the greatest. Still, better than shooting)

Pete: 13/15 (He fully believes you made the right choice, even if he is a bit ashamed of the groups surrender)

Nick: 10/15 (He doesn't know what he'd do in that situation, so he's glad to have you to make tough calls. Besides, Pete trusts you)

Carlos: 10/15 (He agrees with your decision, not much more to it)

Sarah: 13/15 (She doesn't like having to go back to Howe's but strangely enough she's also much more "normal" at Howe's, or at least on the way there)

Alvin: 9/15 (He wishes you had fought harder, but understands why you surrendered)

Rebecca: 10/15 (She's grateful you saved Alvin by surrendering)

Carver: 6/15 (He likes the look in your eyes, though that may change depending on how this interaction goes)

Bonnie: 5/15 (You're just a young girl to her so far. You hate her, but she's completely neutral)

Johnny: 4/15

Shawn: 6/15 (Shawn likes you, obviously, even if he doesn't really know you. He just remembers you as the cute little girl from his dad's old farm)

Troy: 2/15 (Nobody likes Troy)

Justin: 4/15

Sam: 4/15 (An enemy of Carver's is an enemy of his)
