Welcome to the obligatory alternative choices chapter that I totally didn't forget to add in the last chapter of episode two!
Let's get right into it with…
116. Cut off Pete's leg?
You guys decided to cut off Pete's leg, which saved his life at the cost of said leg. If you hadn't, he would have been found by Bill and shot in the head.
117. Leave Pete behind?
After saving Pete's life, you guys chose to leave him at the RV, which did end up working out in the end, however if you had chosen to take him, Pete wouldn't have lasted. Clem would end up getting swarmed and he'd sacrifice himself to save her.
Sarah?
You guys taught Sarah how to use a gun, so now she knows how to use one in case that ever becomes relevant. Wink. If you hadn't, the relationship goes down one point and Clem takes her nap here instead.
119. Carver Appears
You guys decided to confront Carver with Chuck, which led to Christa popping out when she felt Carver become hostile and attempt to shoot him. This backfired and led to Chuck being taken hostage by Carver. If you had confronted him with Christa, the opposite would have happened, except instead of attacking, Chuck would threaten Carver to leave and Christa would be taken hostage instead. If you had hid out, Carver would have eventually found Christa when she tried to attack him, leading to her being taken away.
120. Split Up?
You guys decided to split up, with Carley and Molly going to save Chuck, whilst Lee's group carried on with the cabin group. If you guys had chosen to stay with the cabin group, Carver would have never captured Carley and Molly. If you had all gone to save Chuck, the entire group would have left to find him and gotten into a shootout with Carver where you could decide whether or not to surrender, like in the lodge. This could have resulted in the death of Molly/Lee/Carley/Christa. If you had abandoned both groups entirely, Lee's relationship with everyone would go down, Molly would leave the group to save Chuck anyways and Lee would become more cold and brutal personality wise. You would be able to play as Molly.
121. Should Sarah Have A Gun?
You guys voiced your opinion, which upset Carlos at first until he was able to somewhat get around the idea and forgive you for the argument you ended up having. If you had stayed silent, Sarah's relationship with you would go down by one point and Sarah would be less ready to use a gun, in case this ever becomes relevant wink wink.
122. Put Molly In Her Place?
You guys chose to put Molly in her place and make her rest. If you had conceded, Molly would have passed out during your journey, which would lead to capture regardless, but your relationship with her would go up 1 point. If you stayed to rest, Molly would get captured and the truck would eventually find Carley and take her too. Molly and Carley's relationship would be extremely strained.
123. Cover For Rebecca?
You guys chose to cover for Rebecca, leading to her being more well rested the next day and also a relationship buff. If you had chosen to let Rebecca cover for you, your relationship would stay the same.
124. Which Walker To Take Out?
When deciding whether or not to show off, you guys remained humble. But if you had shown off, your relationship with Luke would have gone down by one point, while it would go up with Lee.
125. Help Lee or Help Luke?
There's no sugar coating it, if you had saved Luke, Lee would have fallen off the bridge. Luke's relationship with you would be maxed. Luckily, you saved Lee, so both men are fine.
126. Deal With Bill?
You guys chose to make no deal with Bill, but took his deal later. If you had bargained to leave everything behind, give away your supplies and go your separate ways with the cabin group, Carver would decline the deal. If you had bargained to give up the cabin group, he would actually agree to this, and if nobody died at the lodge, the main group would never interact with Carver again, unless you later chose to help break them out. If you had chosen to volunteer yourself and save the cabin group, Bill would somewhat agree, promising to take both groups instead.
127. Nick and Molly?
You guys chose to be honest with Nick, which may yield well for him and Molly in the future. If you had chosen she's not your type, he'd be disappointed but understanding, but he wouldn't give up on her. If you said you can do better, his relationship with you would go up, but he'd feel a little disappointed by the answer, hoping for more. If you had told him she's dating Hilda sarcastically, his relationship would not change, and he would not give up on her. If you chose what is love, you'd get the super secret dance party scene where everyone in the series currently break dances to what is love by Haddaway. Totally.
In reality, you'd ask him what love really is rhetorically and he'd chew on that question. He would not give up on Molly.
128. Are You With The Cabin Crew?
You guys said yes, they are with you. If you had said no, your relationship with everyone in the group would go down by one point and they'd be less hesitant to be thankful towards or understanding of Lee. If you had asked the cabin group, they'd say they are with you, undoubtedly, increasing your relationship with them by one point.
129. Vouch For Them?
You guys ended up vouching for the Cabin group. If you had told everyone to calm down, everyone would put their stuff away as in canon, but no relationships would increase or decrease. If you had said you can't speak for everyone, your relationship with the group would go down by two points and Kenny would keep his rifle while the cabin groups don't. If you had chosen to tell Kenny to leave them alone, everyone would keep their stuff, but Kenny's group relationships would go down by 1.
130. Tell Kenny Everything?
You guys told the full truth to Kenny. If you had lied about everything, your relationship would go down by three points once Carver showed up, as he would feel totally betrayed, same with Duck and Ben. If you had told him about Carver but not the rest of the group, the relationship would eventually go down by two points. If you chose to reveal everything but the cabin group's involvement, the relationship would not go up or down.
In part 2, If you didn't tell Kenny about Christa's pregnancy, she'd tell him anyways as long as she had a good relationship with Lee. (Above 6)
131. Who To Hang Out With?
Whoever you hang out with will get additional dialogue, though the only characters you missed were the cabin group, sans Sarah, Luke and Pete. Sarah wouldn't develop her crush on Duck if you didn't hang out with her.
131 Pt2. Take The Deal?
If you had refused the deal, Carver would have made an example out of Carley upon arriving at the lodge, gunning her down.
132. Who To Hang Out With Part 2
If you had chosen to hang out with anyone without Duck, firstly he'd be upset and you'd lose two relationship points with him. Secondly, Sarah wouldn't gain her crush with him. If you had gone with Rebecca, you would comfort her about her insecurities about the baby. If you had gone with Walt and Matthew, you'd get to know them a bit better.
133. Who To Sit With?
If you had chosen Luke's clique, your relationship with Lee, Kenny and Duck would have gone down, while everyone else would stay the same. Meanwhile, your relationships with the cabin group would go up.
134. Spare Or Kill Bonnie?
If you had shot Bonnie, Carver would find out and kill either Chuck or Molly, depending on who Lee is better friends with, and you wouldn't be able to "fool" Carver when he radios. If you let her go, things would go as normal in canon with her.
135. Answer The Radio?
You guys chose to ignore Carver, which didn't amount to much here aside from avoiding Bill's "suspicion". If you had destroyed the walkie talkie, Carver would be displeased upon finding it broken and you wouldn't be able to use it again. If you had imitated Bonnie's voice with Clem, he'd see right through her and have a short dialogue with Clem before announcing he was on his way.
136. Who To Assist?
You guys chose to help Luke and Kenny, which led to Luke staying with the group this time around instead of running away, and led to Matthew getting bit. If you had stayed, Matthew would be fine at the cost of Luke running away like in canon.
137. What's Our Strategy? (Clementine)
If you had chosen to take the shot, Kenny would fire at Carver just as Johnny walked in front of him, and so Johnny would die. Carver would then take Walter and shoot him like in canon. This would lead to a series of choices that could either lead to surrender, the deaths of most of the group in order to kill Carver early, or fleeing from the scene. If you had told Kenny to wait, Clem and the gang would be given another option to shoot, as nobody knows they're out there.
If you had run away, Kenny would have stayed behind and taken the shot without anyone to tell him no, whilst Clem and Luke separate from the group in order to plan a new jailbreak.
138. What's Our Strategy? (Lee)
If you disagreed to the deal, Carver would shoot Carley for failing to meet his expectations, to make an example out of her and show Lee he means business. Then the rest of the group would be found and taken in, except for Alvin and Walt, who would also be shot and considered liabilities. If you had attacked Carver head on, Lee would get shot dead.
And that's it! Moving on officially to episode three next time.
