Camping isn't as bad as Donno had expected. Yeah, there's more nature than he typically cares for, but the food's good and he was able to bring his hatchet, so there's more positives than negatives. Besides, it's made Tonya happy, her smile growing just a little bit more as she takes in the Hawaiian shirts he's packed, a mischievous glint in her eye that kind of reminds him of Ren when she explains time and again that they're married. All in all, he's having a better time than he'd expected here- especially when he sees horses off in the distance. The fact that his phone only works sometimes, and not very well when it does, only bothers him so much.
Shrugging, he tosses the useless device back into his bag and tugs his plate of food closer, waiting for the cue from Tonya to go confront that Luke guy.

Tonya hums, wandering the trail until she hears the beep she'd been waiting for, a grin crossing her face as she lifts it and examines the screen. "There we go," she mumbles, relieved that it maintains its connection as she starts a video call. "Ren!" she exclaims, smiling when her former boss' face appears on the screen.
Ren blinks, looking surprised, then relaxes into a small smile. "Hi, Tonya. I'm guessing you're at the campground."
"Yeah, Donno and I got here safely earlier," Tonya agrees, nodding enthusiastically.
"What's your cover story?" Ren wonders, a small smirk twitching at her lips.
"Well," Tonya says delicately. "We said we're married."
Ren makes a noise suspiciously like a giggle before coughing, straightening up. "I bet Donno loved that," she says dryly.
Tonya shrugs, some of her stubborn streak shining through. "He went along with it," she says decisively, and Ren nods in approval. "Ren?" Tonya asks after an awkward moment, an odd look on her face.
"Yes, Tonya?" Ren prompts after a moment.
"Did you know he likes horses?" she wonders.
"Horses?" Ren repeats, looking off into the distance, biting her lip in thought. "I'm not sure if we've ever talked about them. Why?"
"There are horses here," Tonya says. "He said..." She shrugs. "He said he always wanted a pony."
Ren tries to imagine the rough, knife throwing Donno with a little pony trotting along next to him, her brows lifting. "Oh," is all she can think to say.
"He said he'd like a white horse and name it Gandalf," Tonya says, trying not to think too much about the expression on Sunny's face when he'd said that.
"Well, he thought that all out more than I could've guessed," Ren says, sounding surprised. "I didn't know, he never seemed to really care about any animals."
"Maybe..." Tonya hesitates, frowning.
"What?" Ren asks, trying to look encouraging as Tonya continues to work it out before verbalizing it. "Maybe what?"
"Maybe we could look into something for his birthday," Tonya suggests. "I'm sure there are stables around here that could shelter a horse for him."
Ren nods, mulling it over. "Yeah, I'm sure too. I'll look into it, alright? Now you go back to the campsite and figure out what happened to that couple."
Tonya nods, immediately shifting into a more professional mindset to go do what needs to be done with Donno by her side to complete this favor for Ren's associate. "On my way," she agrees. "It was good to see you again, Ren."
"Good to see you too," Ren says.
"Bye." Tonya hangs up and turns back to the campsite, squaring her shoulders. "Alright," she mumbles. "Here we go."
