UA (Day)
Dominic liked to consider himself as a patient person. However, having his path blocked by hundreds of dumbasses was unforgivable. Exhaling loudly, the blonde pushed his way through the crowd with brute force, pissing off most if not all the people he came into contact with. As he "Karen'd" to the front gate, he saw Midoriya being harassed by a female reporter, reminding him of the unpleasant day he had when a reporter and a cameraman followed him home and asked about the Deoxys he caught. Sighing a plume of smoke, the trainer walked over to help his friend.
"Hey, you!" the reporter asked the greenette, pushing her microphone into his face. "How are All Might's classes?"
Nervous, Midoriya raised his arms in surrender. "Psst. I have a plan. Follow my lead." Dominic said from behind him before walking forward. "I'd be happy to answer some questions for you miss- BUZZ, LOOK! AN ALIEN!" Much like before, everyone barring Midoriya looked into the distance. The blonde took this chance to grab the boy's wrist and drag him through the front gate.
"How did you do that?" Midoriya asked, astonished.
Dominic simply turned to the audience and said "If it's what the people want, who am I to deny them?" This answer puzzled the boy, but he ended up shrugging it off as Dominic just telling a joke.
UA (Day)
"Good work on yesterday's combat training." Aizawa said to his class. "I saw the video and results. Bakugo, you're talented, so don't act like a kid."
"I know." the boy said, still sulking over his loss.
"And Midoriya. You settled it by breaking your arm again, huh?" Aizawa continued, making the greenette flinch in his seat. "You can't keep saying you can't help it because you can't control your Quirk. I don't like saying the same thing over and over. As long as you fix the control issue, there's a lot you'll be able to do. Feel a sense of urgency, Midoriya."
"Yes sir!" the boy said, promising himself to do better.
"Now let's get down to homeroom business. Sorry about the late notice, but today I'll have you..." Aizawa trailed off, intentionally trying to psych out his class. "...decide on a class representative."
'A what?' Dominic thought to himself as various students began saying why they'd be a great class rep.
"Silence, please!" Iida shouted, quieting everyone. "It is a job with the serious responsibility of leading others. It is not a job for just anyone who wants to do it. It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you. If we want to use democracy to decide on a true leader, then we should hold an election to choose one."
Hearing this, Dominic groaned in annoyance. Despite being a ruler of a nation, he despised politics. The fact that one of his first enemies was also a government official may be a factor in this. "Why an election?" he asked.
"We haven't known eachother for that long, so how can we have trust or anything?" Asui asked, adding to the trainer's query.
"If that's the case, won't everyone just vote for themselves?" Kirishima wondered.
"Don't you think that is precisely why whoever receives multiple votes here can be truly considered the most suitable person?" Iida argued. "What do you think, Mr. Aizawa?"
"I don't care, as long as you decide before homeroom's over." the teacher responded, zipping up his sleeping bag.
"Thank you very much!" Iida said, ignoring the man's disrespect.
Everyone wrote the name of the candidate they wanted on slips of paper that were then deposited into a box. In a shocking turn of events, Midoriya ended up winning the majority of the votes with 3. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Dominic was in last place with -19 votes. How this was possible remained a mystery to everyone.
"I got three votes?!" the greenette exclaimed, surprised.
"Why Deku?! Who voted for him?!" Bakugo yelled.
"Well, it's better than voting for you." Sero commented, pissing off Bakugo even further.
"More importantly, how did you manage to score less than zero?" Jiro asked Dominic.
"No clue. I suppose there are some things even I am not meant to learn." the blonde said, trying to sound cryptic.
As he walked to the front of the room, Midoriya was shaking like a leaf in a tornado. "Then, the class rep is Midoriya, and the deputy class rep will be Yaoyorozu." Aizawa said.
"This should be fun to watch." Dominic said, smiling.
"After all's said and done, Midoriya can be pretty fired up, anyway." Kirishima said. "And Yaoyorozu was cool when we were going over the battle results!"
"That's not why I thought this'd be fun to watch. But, fair point regardless." Dominic responded.
UA (Day)
When lunch rolled around, Dominic found himself surrounded by a few of his classmates. "Care to explain what's happening here? I'm eating." the blonde said, gesturing to his soup.
"I don't think it counts as eating if it's not food." Jiro deadpanned, trying her best to look away from whatever was in that bowl.
"We wanted to ask you about your Pokemon." Uraraka said, setting a bowl of rice down on the table before taking a seat.
"I figured this would happen sooner or later." Dominic said as Midoriya, Iida, and Jiro sat down as well. "So, what do you all want to know?"
"Where do your Pokemon come from?" the brunette girl asked.
"No idea." Dominic lied, shrugging. "All I know is that I met them in all sorts of places. There's no place they can't potentially be found." Given the fact that Minior and Unown were born in space, this wasn't entirely false.
"If this is the case, then how has nobody come across them?" Iida asked, suspicious.
"Most Pokemon, much like other animals, like to stay away from human contact." the blonde explained, feeling a bit of deja vu when he did so. "As for how I came across them, I guess I'm just more observant than other people." Said the guy that didn't notice a Legendary Pokemon following him until it directly confronted him.
"Who do you think is the coolest Pokemon?" Jiro asked. Grinning, Dominic got out his Pokedex and scrolled down until he found the entry he was looking for.
"Regice, the Iceberg Pokemon. Type: Ice. This Pokemon controls frigid air of -328 degrees Fahrenheit. It's icy body is so cold, it will not melt even if it is immersed in magma."
"Seriously?" Jiro said, realizing the joke.
"You asked which Pokemon I thought was coolest. If my answer wasn't Regice, I'd just be plain crazy." the trainer explained.
"Sure. You'd be crazy if you didn't do that." Jiro blanched.
"Wait, what did it mean when it said 'Type: Ice'?" Midoriya asked.
"Come to think of it, it referred to your other Pokemon by different Types as well." Iida noticed.
"You see, every Pokemon is given a Type depending on it's powers." Dominic said. "Sometimes, a Pokemon will have two Types at once, like Centiskorch and Gengar."
"How many different Types are there?" Midoriya asked, curious.
"18. Normal, Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Ice, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, Steel, and Fairy." the blonde recited. "Each Type affects every other Type in different ways. For example, Fairy Types deal extra damage to Dark Types. And they're immune to Dragon Type Moves. The downside is that they're weak to Steel and Poison Type Moves."
"How the hell do you keep track of all this?" Jiro asked, astonished by the speed at which her friend finished his spiel.
"Because the author's a goddamn addict for this franchise." Dominic said, confusing everyone at the table.
