{ End of Prologue Part 2 }
[ Eikoln City ]
From a town, to a city.
Located at the south of The Continent, nearby a shore, it had grown from being a small settlement into a huge settlement.
Aside from that, it became the safe haven for all Lis. Due to this, it became extremely rare for anyone to see a Lis outside of Eikoln City. Currently, around 105,382 Lis lived here, and the population is fully expected to grow.
Due to Kayblis' actions and efforts alone, he was universally loved, respected and praised by all Lis as the strongest, kindest, wisest, greatest and benevolent Leader they have seen and even met in person. He wasn't even feared at all.
Secretly, a massive cult growing in the shadows were praying towards Kayblis, before the recently converted members were baptised, then they told an unbelievable story about Kayblis, before Eikoln was even established.
Well, in their own way, that is. They have never even fully known Kayblis' past.
As expected, the story was believed very easily.
Several shops selling seafood were stationed on the eastern side of the City, though the majority of seafood that was sold were shellfish, who all originally tried to fight back, but were eventually captured and turned into seafood for the Lis. The seashells, originally hunted and killed random Round Ones, were now turned into simple prey by the new generation of Lis, due to that, the shellfish tried to start adapting, even turning into humanoid seashells that hopelessly fought this generation of Lis.
Most of them were still killed and turned into seafood, while the unlucky ones became research subjects for Suu, who eventually died.
It was prospering under Kayblis' rule.
Until something happened in KuKu 0250, third month, 9th day.
It was unusual for Kayblis to return after a long time, but now...
Something was definitely wrong.
[ ~ Line • Break ~ ]
A heavily injured Abyssal Dragon crawled towards Eikoln, with a massive blue crystal on one of his legs.
If you looked closely, he had been heavily injured from a recent battle, and survived with one of his wings missing and one of his eyes blinded.
He was very tired and exhausted, and was about to be consumed by the pain he felt throughout his journey.
Fortunately, he was still alive when he arrived at the massive gates of Eikoln City.
When he was approached by one of the guards of the gate, he was surprised and called out for medics.
The Abyssal Dragon, Sifrit was lucky to survive, as several healers had worked together to heal his wounds, yet could not restore his blinded eye and destroyed right wing and tattered left wing.
However, to the Lis' shock, they found Kayblis being sealed inside a very durable crystal. The apostle, Suu was not panicked at this sight, howevet. She immediately took the crystal away to somewhere, not before asking Sifrit what happened.
"... I'm afraid Kayblis is sealed by the Evil Dragon Avel a week ago. But, I eventually recovered the crystal that held him in place, albeit with a few massive costs..."
Sifrit said with a tone that indicated that he lost something. It was a sacrifice he was willing to make, for the reason that they might change his mind for once when he is eventually unsealed.
Suu accepted this as a sort of apology, before looking at her adoptive father, who was sealed inside a crystal.
"... Father, you planned all this, right?"
She muttered, looking at the diaries and papers Kayblis wrote. There was so much written on it, though even if some parts looked nonsensical, there was definitely no chance that they could be fake.
Suu nodded in a state of slight enlightenment, before proceeding to command the people of the cult to put him in a safe space underground.
She, and many other Lis and Lis Humans stood in front of the sealed Kayblis, and then saluted to him.
Although saddened, in order to fully honor him, the cult that was formed decades ago started to emerge from the shadows, and revealed many things to the populace of Lis and Lis Humans. Suu, and everyone on the sect used as much efforts as they could to convince the Lis to believe in Kayblis as their god. Suu found out about it because of the "Doctrines" and the "plans" Kayblis made secretly, in which she had to take responsibility for. She was the one to inherit his legacy, at least that was what she thought (*1).
The researcher knew all about him wanting the City to become an empire, but who would become the one to lead the Lis as the "Emperor"? Although she was a candidate herself, she refused to become the "Emperor" and lead Eikoln, as it was more taxing to the mind that research as stated by Kayblis.
That was, until a certain incident at the third month and the twenty first day of KB 000. Where a girl was selected to become the Emperor through the crystal that had Kayblis sealed inside it glow when the said girl approached the crystal in curiosity.
Things were awry at that time, but eventually, at KB 001, the girl, named Nachta Eikoln, accepted her position as the Emperor of Eikoln and tried her best to lead Eikoln.
Truly, this was a start of a new Era.

Notes:
*1: The Doctrines were the many parts of Kayblis' diary turned into utmost importance, basically, they can be called laws. Also, the "plans" were actual plans he made that were supposed to be done in 100 years of Eikoln's development. They were done earlier thanks to Suu.
