Upstairs, Kaiba fell back onto the bed and let Yami grab his hardness through his pants, sending a rough spasm up his chest as Yami straddled him with a smirk and gave his hips a squeeze with his knees.

He wanted to say something about the agent suspecting them of faking their relationship, but the thought left his mind the moment Yami ground himself down onto him and leaned over his chest to give him a fiery kiss that made his skin tingle. Then he was rolled onto his stomach and his pants were yanked off with one fluid motion, and warm arms traveled down his thighs, roaming down between his legs before coming back up to cup his balls and erection, giving him, fast, heated strokes while Yami's sharp chin pressed into the spot on his back just beneath his shoulder blades, and he shivered happily, his eyelids growing heavy with lust when he could feel Yami's stiffness pressing into the space beneath his balls.

His stomach churned with arousal, and he crawled forward slightly on his hands and knees to pull open the drawer of the nightstand, his fingertips brushing over the cold metal butt of a gun before he found the bottle of lubricant. Trying not to cum fast because Yami's fingers kept squeezing him teasingly, he tossed the bottle blindly behind him and heard Yami picking it up to uncap it and then slathering the cool liquid up his crack before giving him a rough thrust with two fingers, sending him spasming and shivering onto the pillows beneath him.

Yami grabbed Seto's ass and gave it a tantalizing squeeze, his mind humming with joy as he slicked himself up while giving the delicate rim a few firm stretches, hearing Seto gasp and throw him a furious glare over his shoulder, "put it in. I'm going to cum."

"Do whatever you want," Yami replied with a pretty grin as he gave Seto's hole another teasing thrust and stretch, his own arousal aching as he added, "but I won't stop until I'm done, so you better hold out for yourself."

Hissing and curling his fingertips over the pillow under his chin, Kaiba shut his eyes and felt his breath hitch in his throat when Yami eased into him in one, slow thrust, hitting a raw spot inside him that made him spasm with pleasure, and Yami sensed this so he kept the same, agonizing slow pace, pulling out slowly to let him feel every unique ridge along his shaft before shoving himself back in with the same, steady control, sending violent shivers of pleasure raking up and down Kaiba's body as he chinned the pillow and tried to steady his ragged breathing. He was floating on the highest cloud as Yami leaned into him further and made him tremble with joy, and hot hands were gripping his hips as he was being relentlessly pounded until the sensitive spot inside him clenched and heaved, making him shiver again as his body convulsed with an electric jolt of a rough orgasm. His ears rang tinny as he tried to raise up on his elbows, but Yami wouldn't let up and kept pounding into him with a steady, vicious rhythm, his hand snaking around his front to stroke his dick which was now semi-hard, bringing it reluctantly back to life again while he shuddered happily in protest.

"F-Fuck…s-sl-slow down!" Kaiba breathed through clenched teeth as his body was rocked with Yami's vicious pace, and a hot tongue against the shell of his ear made his stomach clench again when Yami replied quietly through his own pants, "…But you're…so hot…here…" And Kaiba shut his eyes while his fingers whitened over the edge of the pillow, his body shaking uncontrollably as Yami gave him a few more rapid thrusts that made the edge of his hole thrum and pulse with a strange feeling.

Yami came down from his high, his heart thundering in his chest, feeling Seto clenching repeatedly around the base of his dick, so he eased out slowly and collapsed on top of Seto's back in a limp, sweaty heap.

"Why don't you ever do me that hard?" Yami asked instantly, raising his cheek up from Seto's back and feeling him being rolled off to the side as Seto turned around to face him sleepily.

"Takes effort… I'll do it next time… love you…" Kaiba mumbled selfishly as he kept his eyes blissfully closed, listening to his heart thundering in his ears while his body vibrated with warm tingles of pleasure.

Yami bit back a smile and rested his hand atop Seto's hair, flattening it comically before letting it go and staring lovingly into Seto's sleeping face. Yami then leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his cheek, gently breathing in his calming scent.

"I'm off to handle the situation, alright? I'll be back tomorrow in time for breakfast," Yami said anxiously, seeing Seto nod sleepily and mumble something before falling back asleep. Okay then.

He moved to press another protective kiss to the CEO's pale cheek before he got up to take another shower while he contemplated his next steps. How fitting that his last job was the most challenging. The urge to move undetected was now higher than ever with an agent sleeping on the third floor.

The next morning, Anzu woke up feeling oddly refreshed. A hot cup of coffee along with a dosage of medication was left thoughtfully on the nightstand beside her.

She took it quickly and got up to see Honda snoring like thunder in another room down the hall, so she walked into the bathroom, staring at the giant black screens hanging on the wall. The remote was attached to the side with a magnet, so Anzu shakily grabbed it and switched the TV on, tapping through the channels until the news came up, and she held her breath as she read the title underneath the newscaster's desk.

"National intelligence agency probe in progress as head of terrorist department, Mazaki Anzu abducted by…."

ABDUCTED?! Anzu gripped the remote tighter as she turned up the volume, but the newscaster was talking about something else, so she went back to reading the scrolling titles.

"…. Authorities believe the massive department-wide bribes to be in connection with last night's string of high profile murders…"

I need a computer, now! Anzu set the remote down on the counter and ran out of the bathroom, straight into a maid who was pulling a giant cleaning cart full of towels behind her.

"Can I borrow a laptop?" She asked frantically, bunching her hair up behind her in distress as it fell into her face. "And a hair tie?"

The maid silently handed her an unopened box of hair accessories from her cart before reaching for the phone in her pocket to dial for someone. Anzu waited anxiously on the spot as the maid wheeled her cart away without another glance behind her, and the two burly bodyguards from last night approached her with a silver laptop and the white phone box in their hands.

"Thanks," Anzu said quietly as she sank into the nearest couch and propped the computer up on the angular stone table, searching her own name and reading the headlines quickly.

"DEPARTMENT HEAD (int. terrorism division) : ANZU MAZAKI MISSING AFTER A NIGHT OF VIOLENCE"

Ugh, pass, Anzu thought nervously as she scrolled down to the next one.

"INTELLIGENCE AGENCY DESPERATE FOR INFORMATION ON THEIR MISSING DEPARTMENT HEAD, MAZAKI ANZU"

"OUR MOST EFFECTIVE AGENT IN DANGER, THE NIA (JP) BEGS THE PUBLIC FOR ANY INFORMATION…"

Anzu leaned back as she decided not to read about herself and searched, 'last night murder' instead, coming up with more terrifying headlines that made her blood run cold.

"Chief legal officer of BigFive Inc found dead at his desk, apparent suicide with note pinned under his glasses…"

Frowning, Anzu tapped on the link and scanned it frantically.

"Earlier this morning, Chikuzen Oka who is a notable expert lawyer for many large, multi-billion-dollar companies, was found dead this morning by his secretary. His offices have been shut down for the day while local police search for evidence of foul play.

He held a permanent board seat at BigFive Inc, and his famous clientele includes the likes of, SanSung Corporation, Majarona Inc, Dokumo Net, and Kaiba Corporation.

His death comes as a shock for the entire…"

Anzu clicked away and felt a headache wrapping around her temples as she kept the tab open and went back to searching for last night's murders, coming up with the same name again.

"Oka Chikuzen, elite lawyer for the upper echelon businesses of the world, died of apparent suicide at his desk. This shocking death is believed to be part of a suicide pact he may have drafted with his longtime business partner and accountant, Otaki Shuzo. Both men had extensive work history with large, multi-billion-dollar corporations in Japan, including the likes of XicomMobile, Dokumo Net, Kaiba Corporation, and of course, their own company BigFive Inc.

Otaki-san was found unresponsive in his luxury high-rise apartment, died of apparent self-poisoning and had attempted to call his estranged wife in his last moments. Police have accessed her phone records to…"

Anzu clicked away again, feeling lightheaded as she went back to the main page and searched 'BIGFIVE INC', hating how there was a swirling pit of dread in her stomach. This pattern was terrifyingly similar to one known mass, methodical murderer: Atem.

If he had left the mansion last night to commit these murders, could she pin them on him?

No, because he started fucking Seto Kaiba in front of me as an alibi, and I have nothing on him! Anzu reeled as she leaned back into the seat, breaking out into a cold sweat.

This was how it began.

In his files, the psych profile outlined that he liked to start with the 'small but important players' when tearing down an organization with many deep pockets, usually the lawyer or the accountant was first, and then the heads followed.

People are dying, and I can't do anything because I'm…apparently abducted! Anzu cried silently as she reached for the white phone box and shrank away, hating that she had to rely on Kaiba tech to reach someone, anyone, from her department. Who could she trust right now?

No one. She was trapped until they decided to let her go, but that wouldn't stop her from building her case now, little by little.

Upstairs, Kaiba had been shaken awake by Isono, and a tablet was shoved under his nose the moment he cracked his eyes open.

"Look! Look at what is happening," Isono hissed shakily as he pushed the tablet closer to the master, tapping on the news article and enlarging the glossy photo of their previous accountant. "Remember this man? He's dead!"

Kaiba sat up groggily and palmed his face, shaking the sleep off as he nodded dully. Yeah that was kind of the whole point. Where was Yami?

"Where is Yami?" Isono echoed his thoughts while the manservant paced frantically at the foot of the large bed. "He must know something. You might be next. I can't stand this—"

"Relax," Kaiba growled, pulling the tablet closer to read the article, his heart thumping in his chest at the words, 'apparent suicide'. Yami had really done it. Holy shit.

Under 'related articles', four more familiar names were listed below, and seeing them all together like that made him shiver.

Wow. Yami really went and hit all five of them, effectively beheading the five-headed snake.

Hovering his finger above another familiar name, Kaiba tapped it with fascination and wondered if he was dreaming.

"Oshita Konosuke who is the current president of Big Five Inc has been found hanged in the luxury suite of his private yacht docked in the Philippines while the party raged on outside on deck, no one discovered his body until the sober light of day.

His work life was full of famous, multi-billion-dollar companies, most notably, his position as former vice-president of business strategy at Kaiba Corporation. We have reached out for a statement regarding his passing and have yet to receive an answer.

Police closed off the entire dock and swept the boat for signs of foul play while they waited for Japanese investigators to arrive. His last actions were donating a sizable portion of his wealth to safe haven shelters in the Philippines for transgender youth, the Philippine Red Cross, and several small children's organizations we have compiled here [link].

We have reached out to each of these establishments to confirm they have received the donation early last night, the time which police say corresponds with his time of death."

How early last night?! We were fucking! Kaiba thought anxiously as he scrolled down the rest of the way to click on another name, his fingertips tingling as Isono continued to pace anxiously at the foot of his bed.

The next article headline caught his eye and really made his heart clench.

"Double murder in luxury high-rise apartment in Downtown Domino, following a string of other high-profile deaths all occurring last night. Police believe they are linked."

He tapped it, and his vision blurred as words flooded the screen, making his head spin.

"Notable philanthropist Ota Soichiro and his live-in bodyguard, Daimon Kogoro, both found dead in their homes with bullet wounds to the head from a long-range rifle, indicating it may have been a professional hit. The police urge citizens of the high-rise not to worry because they have premium Kaiba Tech Security Systems in place and are sweeping the feeds for clues, but ballistics indicate the shots came from a building across the way, so when commuting, we urge citizens to please avoid the blocks from 4thave to 8thave.

Police will be on the ground redirecting traffic, and if anyone has any information on this intelligence officer who is currently missing, the reward for useful tips is 40,000 yen. Finding her alive is the department's highest priority right now, so if you have any information…"

Kaiba clicked the tablet off and stared at his own reflection in the darkened glass, his heart pounding in his ears. Wow. This was what it felt like to win. To really win. Waking up and knowing those monsters and their handymen were gone made his shoulders light.

"M-Master Kaiba…?" Isono asked fearfully as he wrung his hands in front of him. "They, whoever they may be, might be coming here. They've already sent a pair of terrorists after you, who knows how many more—"

"It's him," Kaiba said firmly, swinging his legs over the side of the bed with a light stretch. "Yami did this. He told me had it all planned out over five days, but since we have the missing agent in our downstairs entertainment lounge…" Kaiba scowled and reached for the phone on his nightstand. "He pushed the plan forward by three days and murdered them all in one night."

Isono blinked and felt himself nod. What was he hearing?!

"I'm covered in his jizz so I need a shower," Kaiba muttered as he walked stark naked past Isono, who was steadily melting into the floor with shock and horror.

Isono's phone vibrated in his blazer pocket, and he stared blankly at the empty, unmade bed for a long minute before composing himself enough to check it, and to his relief, it was a message from Yami.

"Please run a bath for me on the 5thfloor away from Seto if he's awake, thank you. Also please prepare a couple vases, I'm bringing in fresh flowers. Eta 2 min"

"Right away," Isono muttered as he shoved his phone back into his pocket and ran down the steps to run water for Yami in his bathroom, his heart thudding nervously in his chest as he pressed the buttons and watched the water slosh loudly into the sparkling tub.

He adjusted the sensor for heat, water level, and ran out of the room to the second floor, grabbing empty vases from the gardening cabinets and keeping them tucked under his arm as he slowly climbed the steps again, seeing the new guests lounging casually in the entertainment area. The woman caught his eye and Isono's stomach turned as she approached him steadily with a bow.

"Where is Atem?" She asked, sounding accusatory as she stared at the vases under his arms, and Isono broke out into a cold sweat, bowing in return as he replied, "there's no one in this house by that name," and he marched away, his palms sweating against the vases as he hoped that would suffice.

To his dismay, she called after him loudly, "you know who I'm talking about! I don't care what his name is right now, tell him I'd like to see him!"

Isono turned to give her a stiff nod and hurried up the rest of the way, stepping into the fifth-floor bedrooms and almost dropping the vases in shock when he saw Yami climbing up the balcony.

Yami dropped silently to his feet with the flowers strapped to his back, along with the giant gun case, and Isono rushed to slide the glass doors open for him, setting the vases on the nearest table and watching Yami place the giant bouquets into them with one careful motion before lowering the gun to the ground and hiding it against the edge of the couch.

"That woman, the agent, she wants to speak with you," Isono said shakily, keeping his head lowered respectfully, thinking he feared this man more than he feared Master Kaiba.

"Tell her I'm taking my morning bath and…this can go in the basement. Take the elevator," Yami said casually, pointing at the gun case on the ground. "Don't worry. Everything is clean. Thank you for your hard work." And with that, he strode into the bathroom, closing the glass door with a resounding clang!

Isono let his breath out in a controlled hiss and bent down to loop the gun on his shoulder, tingling with adrenaline. Never a dull moment working for the Kaiba family.

Inside the bathroom, Yami quickly stripped off and gave himself a quick rinse in the shower before he sank gratefully into the hot water with a sigh, hoping to cleanse his mind of the horrors from the past 8 hours.

All of that early planning had paid off. The only rush job he had to do was the CTO and his bodyguard in the high rise. He hadn't had time to plant evidence and hire help the way he'd done with the other three, but they were both in the home at the time he'd observed, so on a tired whim, he'd climbed the neighboring building to give them presents from the roof—his favorite method of delivering death.

And all I had to do was write suicide notes, Yami hummed to himself as he sank lower in the hot water, his aching shoulders thanking him for the relief. The news outlets here sure worked fast, especially since they received anonymous tips…that he'd called in himself.

Domino City was probably in an uproar right now…

The door to his bathroom slid open with a loud clack! and Seto came rushing in, shattering his heavenly bubble of silence.

Kaiba sat shakily on the wide bevel and stared incredulously at Yami who was soaking blissfully in the water, with his arms raised up over the edge, his skin gleaming prettily in the early morning sun shining in through the sunroof above.

"So…" Kaiba began, and Yami sighed tiredly while leaning his head back against the edge of the tub and settled in until his chin was submerged, bracing himself for the questions. "Where were you this morning? Missed waking up next to you."

"I went out for a jog, then I bought flowers at the market." Yami replied, trying to anticipate Seto's questions. He wanted their mornings to go back to normal with sweet kisses and soft massages.

"Yeah, which market? One in the Philippines?" Kaiba asked gruffly, and Yami kept one eye closed while answering him solemnly. "I haven't left Japan unless it was a business trip with you. If you want to vacation in the Philippines, I'd love to—"

"Okay, cut the crap," Kaiba snapped, leaning forward to rest his hand boldly atop Yami's bare shoulder and feeling his fingertips burn from the heat of his skin. "How did you do it all in one night? Be honest."

Yami tilted his head at Seto, his heart clenching as he replied as honestly as he could.

"I have friends in high places…figuratively and literally."

Right… Kaiba thought darkly as he realized he wasn't going to get a play-by-play out of Yami. He was burning with curiosity at how Yami had done the yacht and the arranged suicides since he already knew how Yami enjoyed delivering death from rooftops.

"Can we put this behind us now?" Yami asked with a desperate edge in his voice as he lifted his hand out of the water to rest it over Seto's hand on his shoulder. "Please. I miss the way we used to be, and I know it hasn't been—" He was cut off with a swift kiss, and Yami kept his eyes open while he stared at the way Seto's eyelashes touched his cheeks. It was so…earnest and the CEO trusted him so much, he raised his arms up to lock them around Seto's neck, feeling water dripping down the front of his shirt, but he didn't care. He melted steadily into the warmth of the kiss and parted his lips, enjoying the taste of coffee on Seto's tongue.

Finally…

This was what he worked so hard for.

No dollar amount could give him this feeling.

He heard footsteps approaching the door, and he tightened his arms around Seto's neck, furiously kissing him until he heard the agent's tense voice ring out behind them.

"Hey! I need to talk to you!" Anzu's resolve slipped when she saw Atem's bare arms wrapped around Kaiba's neck while half-raised out of the water, dangerously showing off his lower abdomen…and if it weren't for the bevel blocking the space underneath his navel… Anzu turned around furiously, her face heating up as she talked to the vases of flowers in the room loudly, "come out! I'm not fucking around!"

Kaiba pulled away and rested his lips against Yami's slender neck, inhaling him steadily while whispering over the sound of sloshing water, "do you think she knows?"

"Of course she knows, but she can't do anything, and she knows that too," Yami replied steadily while snaking his hand up the back of Seto's head to gently bunch his silky hair between his fingers, enjoying the softness. "Don't worry. She can't turn me in or she'll lose me as a source."

And he got out of the hot water with a splash, grabbing the nearest bathrobe and towel, draping it over his wet body before striding out into the room where Anzu was pinching a petal of the nearest flower after giving it a sniff.

"These are fresh," she commented, trying not to blush as she noticed Atem had come out barely covered, and still sporting a boner, the bulge which was visible underneath the thick bathrobe.

"And my patience is running thin," Yami said coldly, lowering the towel to cover his crotch politely, not showing any signs of embarrassment. "What do you want to discuss and…can it wait? At least until I'm finished because he has to go to work."

Anzu grimaced and crossed her arms irritably, starting off with the wildest accusation she could come up with. "You murdered 5 people this morning. Care to tell me why?"

Yami blinked and lowered the towel a fraction of an inch, widening his eyes and then narrowing them with hostility, replying with equal conviction, "Where is this coming from? I don't appreciate starting my mornings like this—"

"Oh, yeah. Sure, me neither," Anzu nodded furiously, and she heard an arrogant huff behind her, and to her rising frustration, the half-wet CEO was leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed handsomely across his chest,

"If you keep making accusations like that, I'm kicking you out," Kaiba said flatly, eyeing Yami carefully and seeing him smile ever so slightly, and he drew confidence from this. "Actually, get your shit and get out now. I'm done being hospitable to a cop."

"She's more than a cop, Seto," Yami grinned prettily and Anzu stared helplessly between the two men, realizing she was always going to lose as long as they were together.

They were a scary power couple.

Kaiba's lawyers would bury her alive, and if that didn't work, Atem would come bury her—physically.

"She carries a badge. She's a cop," Kaiba answered stiffly, pointing at the door with a slender finger. "Out. Off my property. Before I bill you for the medical treatment too."

Anzu swallowed thinly and nodded, eyeing Atem fearfully before she walked out of the room with her head lowered, the tips of her ears dark red. Everything was too convenient. The plan was to stay three days and try to search the mansion as discreetly as possible, but just as that thought left her mind, the two burly bodyguards appeared at the bottom of the step to escort her to the front door. Damn. There was no winning here.

Sometimes, I need to recognize that I've lost, Anzu told herself firmly as she threw a glance behind her at the magnificent mansion, seeing Honda being pushed out the door too while still carrying a plate full of food. It was taken away from him by the bodyguard and he was ushered into the open door of the nearest black car.

She eased into the backseat of the limo and jumped in shock when she noticed the manservant sitting stiffly beside her, quiet and still as a statue, holding a glowing electronic pad in his lap which he then transferred to her lap and pointed at the document on it.

"This is a legal agreement saying you will not speak about your time here, or about Mr. Kaiba and his homosexual relationship," Isono said quietly, feeling the corners of his mouth twitching upwards as he watched her struggle with herself, glaring at the tablet.

"Let's make one thing clear," Anzu fumed, pushing the tablet away. "I have no problem with the nature of his relationship—"

"Good. Then sign it," Isono smiled broadly. "And you're welcome back…anytime."

Anytime I want to die an early death, right? Anzu thought glumly as she realized she had to sign it if she wanted to leave the property. There wasn't a gun being pointed to her head, but all the other circumstances she'd experienced in the home last night told her that signing it would protect her, so she read each line carefully even though some of it was actually legal jargon and swirled her signature at the bottom with a regretful air.

Signing this meant she'd never be able to prove anything that would put Atem in maximum security prison. He'd walk free, beside another terrifying monster named Seto Kaiba, who owned half the world with his tech innovations.

And all monsters aside, they weren't the worst pair ever.

She was walking away with her life and a concussion. A miracle.

In the other car, Honda had already scribbled his signature on the document and was chewing furiously on the end of his cigarette, waiting for the car to move. His stomach dropped when he saw Yami walk out of the house and knock on the window while leaning casually on the car, and the window slowly rolled down.

A thick envelope of cash slipped through the top, and Honda grabbed at it like a man dying, tucking it in his jacket pocket and looking away furiously. Money for the exhaust and Rina's reconstruction surgeries. Maybe a new set of wheels too…. Atem wasn't a bad guy if he overlooked the murdering people thing.

"See you around or not," Yami said carefully, giving Honda a wave through the tinted window and seeing the man give him a middle finger in return that made him chuckle, and he patted the roof of the car, telling the driver to leave.

The car pulled away from the fountain, and he made his way to the other one, climbing in with ease, seeing Anzu tense immediately and reach for her gun…which was absent.

"Honestly, what part of retired are you not understanding?" Yami asked testily as he leaned into the seat, crossing his arms firmly. He hadn't even wanted to deal with the bodies himself because he was so tired of death. All he'd done was arrange their demise and was only directly responsible for two, which was practically one because he always rounded down.

"Fine. Then who did it? And who can do it that well?" Anzu asked furiously as she raised her eyebrows. "You're telling me all you did was sleep last night? All five incidents were coordinated within minutes of each other. Fuck off."

Affronted by the cursing, Yami scowled and nodded. "If you really insist, I have sex-tape worthy footage for you to watch. Hours of it. Then we moved to the bathroom, and then the bed again, and then the bath this morning where you caught us. He's a busy man. It's hard for me to spend time with him."

"Oh yeah, and you just…what do you do all day? Housewife?" Anzu said testily, unable to let it go, and she heard her own tone, but it was hard to change. This was what made her a top agent in her career after all.

"I'm head of security. I manage his other properties as well," Yami answered quietly, fed up with the accusing tone. "Isono here can affirm that I've been working virtuously with this family for—"

"For as long as you can fake it," Anzu sighed, shaking her head in defeat. "You can fake or loop any kind of footage. He's a tech genius. You're a tech genius. I'm not going to play this game and please don't treat me like I'm stupid, Atem. Or Yami. Whatever your name is. Now let me go home or kill me."

Yami nodded in resignation and pulled out the white phone box and held it out to her hopefully.

"For when you need me… for anything. I mean it," Yami said cautiously, aware that he was handing a double-edged sword over to this agent, and Kaiba had fought him viciously on it, which was why he was still inside the house now, fuming at his 'stupidity' for wanting to keep in touch with the agent on a secure line she could instantly make unsecure.

"Mmm…" Anzu wrinkled her nose delicately and shook her head. "Does it blow up? Record me when I pee? Who do you take me for?"

"Top agent and head of your own department," Yami praised genuinely, hoping to form a friendship with her to make his own life easier. "Straight out of T-University as a valedictorian and the youngest female to hold the department head title. Oh, and I heard you're multi-talented—on your college competitive dance team—which probably explains how well you're able to fight."

Anzu turned pink and snatched the phone out of Atem's hands and gripped it tightly, staring at the silver KC logo on the front, her chest swirling with turmoil. A direct line to the most dangerous criminal she'd ever read about—the parts that she could read anyway.

"There's nothing in here?" She began, and Yami gave her a solemn nod.

"Nothing other than the one number needed to contact me directly," Yami said calmly, moving to exit the car. "Sometimes I won't pick up because I'm busy… doing somethingromantic, because that's how I want to spend the rest of my life, thank you."

He climbed out of the car with Isono close behind him, and the door was closed with a solid thunk.

Just as he was about to head back inside, the window rolled down and Anzu stuck her head out to shout behind her, "this doesn't make us friends and you belong in supermax!"

"Thanks! We're sworn enemies, and I've escaped supermax all the times they put me in! You'd know that if you could read a redacted file!" Yami called back playfully, giving the car a wave, and the window rolled up lightning fast. It made him laugh.

The car passed the gate, and the moment it closed, Isono turned to Yami with a wide-eyed look.

"Really?" The manservant pressed, not following Yami too closely as they strode back into the house as the sun began to rise higher overhead.

"Really," Yami answered with a wink, and he climbed the stairs with ease, giving the servant another request. "Call the construction team over to patch the roof!"

Right away… Isono thought nervously as he hastened to obey.

Never a dull moment with the Kaiba family.

Author's note:

Cops leave, time for construction repair that won't draw attention to the holes in the roof :D
