It was the second week of March and on a Monday. Ayaka had already finished her shift at McDoland's and she was waiting, tea in hand. She was expecting the mail to arrive with a letter of either acceptance or rejection. Though, what worried her more was the result of Izuku's.

*Ding!*

It arrived.

She got up after sipping on her cup, and the door opened for a delivery man outside to hand over a letter. Ayaka thanked the man before closing the door and walking to her bed.

She sits atop the mattress with her letter firmly held by her two hands on the edges. Ayaka carefully breaks the seal before seeing a disc poking out of the letter.

With a slight press on the device, a projection flashes to life as a familiar yet unexpected face presented itself on the screen.

"I am on screen now!"

"I didn't expect All Might to be the one delivering this message," Ayaka noted.

"Ahem, sorry for this message being short. I have just been notified a while ago that I have to wrap this up fast."

An awkward pause happens as All Might coughs once more. He puff his chest as his smile, ever unending, became wider.

"This may come as a surprise to you but I'll be working at U.A.! That's why I came to this town. Anyway, I have to make this quick - undoubtedly you have passed the entrance exam with a Villain score of 85 points!"

Ayaka felt her heart lighten, it was a load off her mind and she could finally focus on Izuku's own result rather than her own. She was about to grab her charging phone before it got interrupted by All Might still continuing. 'There's more?'

"But! I should say that your result is already exemplary but there's more to it - You tied with first place on Villain points! As a school for aspiring Heros; U.A. looks beyond strength alone, it is the use of that strength for others that makes this school special! Behold, Rescue points!"

The projection changes to a scoreboard, and to her amazement, Ayaka saw her name on top with Bakugo behind her, Kirishima on 3rd, and Izuku on 8th. She didn't expect her to score to dwarf second place.

All Might continues. "They are given by 7 of the teachers acting as judges. Stand proud, for you have set a new record for U.A. in several years! The highest score being set by yours truly" All Might gesture to himself. "Kamisato Ayaka! 70 rescue points! Don't think we're giving you more than what you expect to deserve, it is undeniable you hold the heart of a Hero! Come, young Kamisto... Welcome to your Hero Academia!"

Ayaka's smile grew, her lips thinning to a satisfied smile. "I will make everyone proud."

*Ring!*

Her phone rang, with her only contacts being Izuku and Toshinori, Ayaka could guess who was calling. She picks up her phone and notices the one dialing being Izuku. She accepts the call and a flurry of emotions gets released by Izuku through the phone.

"Kamisato! I- I- I passed!" Izuku cried out, Ayaka could hear relief, sadness, surprise, and happiness, all at the same time. "I can't believe it, Kamisato! You were right! I can be a Hero!"

"No, Midoriya, you already are. Congratulations."

"I also saw the rankings! You are amazing, only All Might was the one to reach such a high score during his time in U.A.! If only I could see what you did to get such a high Villain score, with your speed that we recorded plus your amazing moves, oh and..." Izuku started to ramble on for about a minute, not realizing Ayaka was on the phone.

Ayaka chuckles. "Midoriya, I know you are happy to see us passing but you're muttering again."

He gasped audibly over the phone. "Ah! I'm sorry! I just can't believe we're actually going to U.A. Oh! I almost forgot to tell you. All Might wants to see you tomorrow afternoon."

"Tomorrow afternoon? Does he need anything in particular?"

"I'm not sure. He wanted to see me as well, only in the morning though."

"Am I not able to join you with All Might in the morning? Wouldn't it be better that way? Unless he needs something different from me." Ayaka asks.

"I can ask All Might, I think it's him personally congratulating us in passing. Why it's done separately is another matter. Sorry to take up your time with my rambling earlier - Well um, goodnight."

"Goodnight Izuku." and with a click, the call ended. Ayaka relaxed her body, letting her phone down near the table after her talk with Izuku had ended. She stared at the ceiling, illuminated by the light still open.

She got up and flicked the switch down, the light went out as Ayaka navigated her way to her bed and dragged up the covers. She stares back at the ceiling and closed her eyes. 'I wonder what All Might wants with me.'

The next day came and Ayaka was arriving at Dagobah beach, the same location Izuku and her trained for 10 months.

It was a fond memory of her time in Japan, her yet-to-be-known Vision or Quirk was trained to something she wasn't used to. Ayaka recalls the frozen sculpture she made out of the zero pointer not long ago.

"If I could harness that much ice on the regular, it would be beneficial to my stay here in Japan. Dangers lurk around this world and it's paramount to increase one's strength."

She feels the Delusion strapped on her upper thigh, there was something about it Ayaka wasn't sure about. Would there be a desperate enough time for her to borrow the power of a fake Vision alongside her own?

Delusions usually vary on the grade, and the lowest quality was often used to the detriment of the user - Either rapid aging or weakening the body and mind of the one who owned it. Ayaka had seen these dastardly given out to the people in the resistance during the Vision Hunt Decree back in Inazuma.

Though, a higher rank in the Fatui meant a higher quality Delusion. Rewards are given for their service and loyalty, the people who had enough drive and experience could wield such Delusions without much trouble. Those of the highest quality were given to the Harbingers; the executive heads of the Fatui, serving under the Tsaritsa as her lieutenants.

Ayaka's currently held Anemo Delusion was not one of those from the Harbingers. It was a league lower, perhaps one that served directly under a Harbinger, she wasn't sure.

'What would the Traveler do? Practice with this Delusion comes with risk but is also a great source of power. No - My ice is more than enough for being a Hero... then again, I don't want to lose what I have once more...'

She reaches the edge where the street meets the beach which was now in its untainted sand. 'Looks like All Might is already here, who is he with though?' she spots another person by his side.

A man of tall build with black hair stood alongside All Might in his disheveled form, they both meet their sights on Ayaka who went down to the beach itself.

She cautiously calls out Toshinori's family name. "Yagi, I didn't expect to be called out here today."

"Kamisato, it's fine, you can call me All Might around him. This is a close friend from the police force. He already knows about my condition."

Ayaka nods as she paid attention to the man who nodded in the same way. "Greetings, Mr?"

"Detective Tsukauchi. Naomasa Tsukauchi."

'A detective? Why would All Might have a detective over?'

Naomasa waves her off by chuckling. "Don't panic, it's not something serious Kamisato."

'...How did he?'

"If you're asking yourself how - no, it's not a Quirk. Despite what Yagi here says among the other things he tells people when I'm around."

"Haha... I don't know what you're talking about Tsukauchi."

Naomasa smiles at the banter. "Well, I was called here today for something Yagi requested. It's about your entrance to U.A."

"Is there a problem?" Ayaka asks.

"A large one, you don't have any kind of identification. I'm sure you already know of this but seeing that you already have an apartment, we think you just need to renew already existing ones. Then again; there wasn't anything before, so we just have to clarify and make new documents for you okay? It's not going to be much trouble, Yagi here is going to be responsible for that but before he can proceed - I need to ask you a few questions."

Ayaka almost stiffened but she stopped her involuntary action. "...I understand." She hoped she could answer everything correctly.

Even though she'd been living for 10 months in Japan, she was too hyperfocused on training that she overlooked paperwork. Ayaka doesn't know much about the bureaucracy in Japan but she did note it could have similarities to Inazuma's.

Naomasa flipped open a notepad and got out a pen to write with. "Right, it's only a few questions so please answer as best as you can. First, who are you and where do you live?"

"My given name is Ayaka and my family name is Kamisato. My address is Faire Apartments floor 28 room 2809."

"Mhm. What's your birthdate?"

She quickly makes up the year of her birth date by recalling the current year and taking away 16 and close to 17 years as a cover story. "I was born on September 28 2XXX"

"What's your parents' first names?"

She hesitates, not wanting to disclose important information to someone she just met. She didn't have much of a choice though. "My... mother's name is Kayo and my father's name is Touji."

"Any siblings?"

"Yes, I have an older brother. His name is Ayato."

Naomasa nods. "...Are you from Japan?"

It was the first of the questions Ayaka would have trouble with. "I'm not originally from Musutafu. I came from somewhere far from here."

Naomasa looks at her before continuing to write. "What is your Quirk and did you manifest it during childhood?"

"I exclusively work with my ice, there may be a few freedoms with how my Quirk works but in what I experienced, I can form ice on surfaces, become ice through my Senho form and I have either immunity or highly resistant to cold. I did manifest it during my childhood."

"We're nearly done. Last question, do you want to be a hero?"

"Ever since All Might asked those same words, I had only one thought. That was to be a person people could look up to and get help with. So, I do.

Naomasa finishes up as Toshinori steps up. "I'll be working on your documents for a week but I asked the principal for permission to send them in late. You will have to do the reissuing of various identification yourself. Don't you have a part-time job? I'll pick you up on the weekends to finish everything up, is that okay with you?"

"It's quite okay, All Might, if this is what is required for me to get into U.A. then I will do everything in my effort to do so."

All Might puffs up and empowers himself into his bulkier form. He claps together and bellows out a huff.

"Now that we're done with that. Kamisato! I couldn't say more about your performance but I'm here to say that you both really do make me proud. Midoriya and you are the future heroes of the next generation, I expect you to grow alongside your fellow students. I sent up Midoriya to a cafe I found, join him will you? I'll catch up later I still have to do something important."

Ayaka relaxes, she didn't realize she had her shoulders stiffened the whole time. "Thank you All Might, I'll excuse myself. Thank you for bringing me out today."

Toshinori and Naomasa were left alone, making sure Ayaka was out of earshot as Toshinori deflates into his skinnier form and sighed.

"So? What do you think?"

"She's hiding a lot from us, she's likely lying about her birth date and where she comes from. She avoided answering it directly and I could tell her birthday was real but the year was not. There's also a bit of a peculiarity with how she answered the others; particularly on her parents and sibling, especially about her mother. There's more though."

"What is it?" Toshinori asks.

"She might be suffering from something mental. Loss is probably her trigger - she started to readjust her already good posture, likely something she unintentionally does when she feels she's going through a sensitive subject or feels emotional."

"That's... I never knew... What should I do? I barely know anything about teaching, now I have to take care of a student of mine that might be going through difficult times."

"Yagi, I don't doubt your judgment but there is something you could talk to her about. She genuinely wants to be a hero, everything she said during that wasn't full of regality, more like it was her true nature than what she was taught. She's act like royalty, constantly making sure she was presentable. It's not anything important but I feel like I should tell you that. Did the principal really put you through this?"

"He did, it's just a precaution he said. Though now that I think about it, he might be probing for something else about her. It's not unusual for him to do so. Ha... I should go, thank you for taking your time, Tsukauchi."

"No problem, you'll be helping her out with the details right?"

"Oh, actually I just have to hand her everything I prepared last month. The principal already asked..." Toshinori pauses before suddenly slapping his hand over his face. "How did I not realize?"

"What do you mean?" Naomasa asks.

"The principal asked about Kamisato when I told him I was training someone else as my successor. He commented on details about Kamisato like what her favorite T.V. show was. Of course, I asked Kamisato but got an unexpected reply, she asked what television was. I said this and many other random bits to the principal as an offhand comment. Nezu probably realized that she was being suspicious and got more details from me without me realizing."

"Huh, she didn't know what a television was? That certainly is weird but she seems like a good person at heart. Goodbye Yagi, I'm heading to the station."

"See you, Tsukauchi."

Toshinori stood alone along the beach with his expression down. "It's going to be a long week. I might have to completely reschedule my weekends so I can advise Kamisato so she knows what to do."
