"Loss, what a curious concept no? The idea that something you once hold is now reduced to nothing more than a memory. If loss is what keeps us from achieving what we truly are then loss should be held back by Eternity."

"No, loss is what gives us the motivation to move forward. It is in our nature to change, one loss can be built into a dream. A dream can last forever - loss is what grows us into who we are, and rejecting loss is akin to fear that change. We learn to cope with the past, so we can look further into the future."

"Is that truly what she wants? No change can ever overcome the pain and misery of losing what once we have, what we once cared and what we once loved. We take for granted the things we can enjoy and to me, Eternity is the true solution."

"To what means will you further justify the existence of Eternity?"

"That is an easy answer, everything. No one will be able to stand against the will to keep what you have. If it is what she seeks then no more must be said, she will have her own Eternity-"

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

Ayaka shot up in a cold sweat, the Delusion in its box glowed brightly before dying down to a dull shade as Ayaka woke up from the strange encounter and shut her alarm off.

She let out puffs of exhausted breaths, her tiring arms set in even though she had slept for hours. Ayaka braces her head as she recounts what she heard. 'Her… Excellency? What-'

*Ring!*

Her phone suddenly blares to an obnoxious tone, she reaches for it and picks up the call. "Yes?"

"Kamisato! I'm super worried, it's our first day and you're usually at our meeting place 30 minutes early but when I arrived you weren't there! I'm sorry for bothering you, you're probably just super busy right now."

Just as Izuku said that Ayaka looked at the time and almost panicked when it said 8:00 am. Usually, classes at U.A. starts at 8:25 am but Ayaka, the ever-diligent person, starts days off very early. Now, she considered herself late, despite going 30 minutes early every time.

"I woke up late!" She suddenly exclaims, out of character for her, but a few minutes of being tardy was going to be close to the end of the world in her mind.

She disconnects the call before rushing to the bathroom. Ayaka usually removes her hairpiece and replaces it with a simple scrunchie matching the shade of pink tying her hair on the front. Minutes went by before she got outside her apartment with her U.A. Uniform given last week.

It was now April, the month when school would start, they were going to be freshmen in U.A. Over the past month, Ayaka had been busy working with All Might to make sure she would be in the system from now on.

It was extremely painful but with the literal no. 1 Hero on your side, there could be some negotiations allowed with the Government. Everything went smoothly except for the fact that Ayaka can't prove who her parents were, she needed a birth certificate but couldn't get one.

She explained to All Might that her parents were dead, which was technically true and that she was an orphan the whole time. Her cover story was that her entire family died when she was just born. An unfortunate accident happened and Ayaka intentionally left a lot of details vague.

It was completely made up, fearing that her otherworldliness would be known. Toshinori accepted her reasoning because he genuinely believed her parents died and she didn't want to talk about it. Though, he still had the information that Ayaka could possibly not come from Japan at all because of Naomasa's words.

The only solution at the time was that All Might, real name Toshinori Yagi, was going to do the most either genius or moronic idea ever.

Ayaka was now the illegitimate daughter of All Might.

With an unknown mother, Ayaka, officially now had an excuse for the Government to consider her as a citizen. Her official records now will state that the reason for her delayed birth certificate was that she lived in an isolated city where she realized she was All Might's daughter. They submitted her DNA results, which were faked, and confirmed her status. She traveled to Musutafu and asked her now father, Toshinori, to take care of her. Toshinori said yes and now they were registering for her birth certificate. This was the story they told to the Government.

Everything was completely faked one way or another and it was very important that none of it leaked that All Might suddenly have an illegitimate daughter or the press would go wild.

Back to Ayaka - she was currently rushing to their meet-up, Dagobah Beach. As soon as they met she made Izuku run toward U.A. Izuku asked for her to slow down since they were still 10 minutes early until classes would start.

It only made Ayaka go faster since 10 minutes early was too late according to her. The gates of the school were massive, walls extending the perimeter and a large door of steel only opened to the few allowed in U.A.

"Kamisato, please slow down. We're not in a rush to get to our classroom we have enough time."

She stops running in the halls as they approached the door leading to class 1-A. She checks her phone, sighing out after reading that they were 5 minutes early. "Sorry, I was just nervous that our very first day in academics would be missed because of my overindulgence in rest."

Izuku grabbed hold of the handle of the massive door and chuckled. "Haha… At least we're here now. I hope we don't have any scary people in our class."

"Scary or not, they should be treated like fellow classmates. We all are working to be Heroes after all."

Izuku hesitantly nods before slowly opening the massive door. Izuku silently wished it wasn't anyone scary despite Ayaka's advice.

Izuku regretted opening the door at that moment.

"Please! Get your feet off the table! The legacy of U.A.'s past attendees will be tarnished because of your lack of decency!"

Katsuki was currently in a match of words against Tenya, the student Ayaka met while she took a handout for the entrance exam.

"Ha? Who cares! If you give so much shit about it then why don't you try making me?" Katsuki taunted.

Tenya recoils back from the use of a crude word. He starts gesturing with his hands as he scolds Katsuki. "How abhorrent! How can the likes of you be considered by this prestigious school as a Hero!"

"Oh? So you think you can be considered the same? Where are you from?"

"If you wish to know, I'm from Soumei Private Academy-"

Katsuki interrupts. "Soumei? You're from that Elite school full of stuck-up people, aren't you? You're worth beating up then."

Tenya starts to robotically swing his arms around. "What?! Threatening to beat up someone, how are you supposed to have the qualities of a Hero?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Katsuki then turns to lock eyes with both Ayaka and Izuku staring at the scene. "Huh?"

Tenya turns to look and recognizes the two the instant he sees the wide open door. "It's the two of you…"

The entire class suddenly move their attention from the verbal exchange to the duo that entered the classroom. Izuku, despite being used to Ayaka's company, began to stutter.

"Ummm…"

Tenya starts walking towards Izuku. "Good morning to both of you! I'm from Soumei Private Academy-"

"I heard! I already know your name too, Tenya Iida, right? Kamisato had already told me about you. I'm Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you."

"Ah, so she did! I must say I've misjudged you. Not only did you fully understand how that exam was set up but you're also friends with the top scorer of U.A. for a decade. I apologize for my behavior back then."

"No worries, I do realize I was bothering people. Haha…" Izuku awkwardly laughed out.

"Is that so? Good! You're doing better than before."

Ayaka nudges Izuku. "I'm going to take the seat in front of that black-haired girl over there, care to join me with you in front?"

Izuku looks to the row behind Katsuki. "Huh? It's behind Kacchan though…"

Ayaka reassured him with a pat on his back. "Don't worry, I'll be right behind you, facing your problems would be a better course of action than avoiding them."

"Oh, okay… We'll find our seats first, Iida. We both just arrived after all."

"Ah! Sorry for bothering you! Go ahead!" Tenya energetically replied.

Tenya stood aside and went to his own seat as Izuku and Ayaka. Kirishima who recognizes Ayaka waved at her. She smiles and remembers the boy after the exam who told her about her apparent fame among the students as she waves back.

Suddenly, a voice spoke up behind her. "Just so you know-"

Ayaka turns to a boy with what looked like two separate faces.

"-I'm better." He bluntly states.

Ayaka was left stumped at the odd introduction before defaulting to her practiced smile and nods before returning her attention to the front of the class.

Soon enough the door opens again for them to see the final student, the girl looks around before pointing at Izuku and exclaiming loudly. "It's you! That frizzy-haired boy, so you passed! I was worried you wouldn't pass even though you did that awesome punch!"

"Huh? Ah! Yes, I sort of did. Even though I didn't think I would've passed but I held on until I received the result. I was about to cry when I got it." He surprisingly answered normally. 'Though I did cry if I remember.' Izuku thought to himself.

Izuku didn't notice it too much but he was definitely getting better at communication, especially with girls. He already overcame most of his introverted self by just talking to Ayaka daily for the past year now.

"That's good to know. At least I can have peace of mind that someone who did that for me was going to be in the same school." The bubbly girl walks to the remaining seat still available as the whole class now gets accounted for.

A few minutes go by as the class sat silent while waiting for class to start.

*THUD!*

The door gets violently forced to the side as the class gets spooked by the sudden opening. They waited for who would come in. Everyone knew that pro Heroes were the teachers of U.A. They were nervous but excited.

Finally, someone came in-

"Augh…" a muffled voice came from the ground.

-or rather something.

"My, I never knew there was a caterpillar Hero."

To Ayaka's words, everyone nodded. It was a strange but curious sight and they agreed on the appearance.

"Augh…" the voice came from the bag again.

It started to crawl along the floor at a slow pace before reaching the platform in front. A massive sigh is what came next before the sleeping bag raises from the floor and unzips revealing a homeless man inside.

Or at least, that is what it looked like to the majority of the class.

"Good, you're all already seated. Time is limited, you all aren't lost causes yet. Take pride in being logical for the time being."

He tosses the bag on the platform before resting his hands on the table in front.

"I'm your teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you." Shota then took out a pack of some kind inside his scarf. Where it came from or how it appeared, nobody knows. He sipped it dry before getting his sleeping bag and taking out another uniform inside.

"Wear these and come to the field." He waves around the U.A. Gym uniform as he lazily walked outside, expecting the students of class 1A to quickly change.

Sooner or later everyone began heading to the locker rooms to change into their Gym uniform. Ayaka headed with the rest of the girls, which was surprisingly low for a total of 20 students. They walked the halls silently, so Ayaka started a conversation.

"Hello, I'd like for us to know each other before what Mr. Aizawa plans with us." She told the other students.

The relatively tall and ponytailed black-haired girl raises her hand to get their attention. "If you put it like that, then I'd love to oblige. My name is Momo Yaoyorozu." She bows, reminding Ayaka that Momo acts the same way she does.

"Ooooh, me next! I'm Mina Ashido!" A pink-haired and similarly pink skin-colored girl introduced herself next. Her eyes were odd, coming from a mutation Ayaka thought. It was black and the girl had what looked like horns on her head.

A girl who had deep green hair and a drooping mouth introduced herself next. A frog-like appearance is what Ayaka first thought, before reminding herself that mutations of these kinds were normal. "My name is Tsuyu Asui but please call me Tsu."

"I'm Kyoka Jiro, no need for the nicknames though." Earphone jacks hung loosely over Kyoka as she twirls them around, her chin-length dark purple hair swaying as the jacks interacted with it.

The floating set clothing speaks up, they tried making eye contact for the conversation but invisibility was not helpful in that regard. "You probably won't notice me much but my name's Toru Hagakure."

The girl with perpetual pink cheeks steps in front while walking toward the locker room. "My name's Ochaco Uraraka. You're friends with that messy-haired boy, aren't you? Who is he?"

"His name is Izuku Midoriya, we are… friends. Yes." Ayaka told them. "Right, it's my turn. My name is Ayaka Kamisato, pleased to meet your acquaintance."

As they arrived at the locker room they all started to undress and change. Ayaka looked at the Gym uniform, wondering if it could have any special things on it like Izuku theorized before they entered U.A.

"Wow! I never knew you had such a cool tattoo, Kamisato! I never thought you'd be the type to get one, it's so beautiful! Where'd you get it?" Mina suddenly exclaims as the rest of the girls looked at her back.

'Tattoo?' Ayaka thought. "What do you mean?"

Kyoka raises a brow at the mention of Ayaka not knowing she had a tattoo. "You mean you don't know that you had a tattoo? It's on your back, I can take a picture of it if you want."

Momo pointed at the tattoo and asked. "Though, does U.A. allow that? Also, odd that you didn't realize you had a tattoo. It's the size of almost your entire back, Kamisato."

"We'll get to Mr. Aizawa first. Could you take a picture for me Jiro, if it's not much trouble for you?" Ayaka asks.

"No worries, here stand still and straighten your back." She notices Ayaka's already perfect posture. "Actually, your back is already straight so just hold still."

A snap of the camera from her phone and Kyoka got the picture for Ayaka.

"Send it to me later, I don't want to make Mr. Aizawa wait long."

"Oh! He's that homeless-looking guy, right? Is he really our teacher? I sure hope he's not that bad." Mina mentions.

"Well, we better get a move on before he scolds us. From what I've seen he's the serious type, though seeing him in action would tell us more about how he acts, Mina."

"A Quirk assessment test?!"

"No ceremony or orientation?" Ochaco asks.

"If you want to be a Hero, you don't have time for that-"

Ayaka looks to Shota with a glint of curiosity in her eyes. Teachers were one thing she was quite familiar with, yet her new homeroom teacher went all against what she expected. 'Interesting, perhaps this approach would bring unexpected results.'

"-U.A. is known for its unrestricted style, and that goes for the teachers as well." He turns to the group of students still surprised at the sudden test. "You've been doing this since middle school, right? Physical fitness tests without using your Quirk. The country continues to calculate averages based on uniform results, which is not logical. The Ministry of Education is just lazy."

Shota pays his full attention to Ayaka. "Kamisato, aren't you the golden girl that scored first in the practical exam? In junior high, how many meters was your softball throw?"

'I haven't done any of these activities but from what I've read I should be fairly okay with an average number.' Ayaka thought before answering. "56 meters."

"Right, now do it using your Quirk."

Ayaka was not prepared for that nor was she confident in what would next. She wasn't sure how her ice was going to be of any use.

'Huh? How do I use my ice to enhance throws?' The expectations of a higher score then started to weigh on her as she stepped inside the circle.

"You can do anything in the circle. Hurry, with all your might."

'How do I do this… should I use it?' She remembered the Delusion still hidden. She made sure no one would notice when they changed. Placing the pants over her legs and slipping out the skirt was simple enough. 'I don't want to disappoint anyone with my lack of a result.' She started gripping the ball hard.

"We're still waiting, Kamisato."

She was pressured to make a result, the last thing she wants was to be a disappointment. 'How do I hide it though, it's obvious if I use Anemo here.' She looked up to the sky as an idea popped into her head.

Frost started to surround the area, making the students nearby cold as they started to shiver even under their Gym clothes.

She made an improvised move, inspired by her scouting practices during the exam. "Flash Freeze: Vertical." She muttered under her breath before stomping on the ground as the ice started to coalesce.

Ice formed rapidly under her as she started to ascend higher and higher to the sky before stopping right around 60 meters before coming to a stop.

'I think this is far enough so no one would notice. Just to be sure I'll cloud everything here with frost.'

She breathes in and focuses on another move. "Flash Freeze."

The ice extended horizontally from below her - ice pillars started forming along the way that supported the weight of the lengthening ice bridge suspended in the air. She pushes her ice further just as she was starting to get exhausted.

A small protrusion of guiding walls made sure the ball wouldn't launch off prematurely before getting to the end where it would fall.

It stopped right at 70 meters, Ayaka guessed. Before she felt her right thigh warm up from the Delusion activating. She felt the breeze making her frost swirl around her. She didn't feel the cold but the rest of the students certainly did.

She focused her ice around to cloud everyone's vision of her before forming wind around her arms. She didn't practice with the Delusion but what she could do was mimic someone else's moves, one she knew briefly but understood who he was.

"Kaedehara Art: Yamaarashi" she muttered.

She pushes Anemo to the ball while covering it in frost, hoping it would be enough to shroud its wind. She decided to slide it across since it would be more believable than throwing it with only ice.

Ayaka throws the ball underhand as it was guided by Ayaka's ice bridge lined with a wall. The ball slid across the ice bridge made by Ayaka and maintained its constant speed, it quickly left the ice bridge before rushing out and traveling further.

It seemed she had underestimated the power of her throw because it launched off with a noticeable speed difference from the initial throw. It accelerated under the ice unimpeded by friction or at least a noticeable one.

It whirled and spun around the air with a layer of frost trailing behind it twinkling a visual glint from the sun. It began to drop down from the pull of the earth before hitting a distance away.

"First, come to know your maximum limit. It's the most logical way to form a Hero's foundation." The display surprised everyone as Aizawa shouted to Ayaka who was going down the pillar of ice. "246.6 meters! Decent use of your Quirk even though your ice doesn't provide any thrust whatsoever." He directed that comment to Ayaka.

"It looks fun!" Mina mentioned.

"We can utilize our Quirk in this course!" A boy with weird elbows added as the verbal comments of excitement poured out from the crowd.

"It looks fun, huh?" Shota ominously said. "Do you plan to become a Hero within three years with that attitude?" He smiled with malicious intent. "Okay, whoever has the lowest overall score with these eight categories will be considered hopeless and will be expelled."

"…"

"Haaaaaaaaaaaa?!" Everyone protested.

A worried Izuku starts to shake in place while Ayaka looked from above. She already left the pillar a while ago by sliding down it and leveled on the ground while Shota was explaining everything.

'I hope everyone takes Aizawa's words seriously. Though, it might be too obvious to others that he's making everyone work hard.' Ayaka had already experienced tutors many times over with differing teaching styles, this was a common action done whenever a student gets too arrogant, Ayaka thought.

"We can choose what to do with our students. Welcome, this is the Hero course of U.A.!" Shota proclaimed to the horror-filled students.
