Author's Note

Hi, everyone. Um... Sorry about the wait. I've been really busy with a LOT of things. Work, new video games I purchased, role playing in DeviantArt... But now that I'm here, finally, I can get to working on this kind of passion. So! Let's get started!

Last time, the purple haired woman asked who the six people in front of her are, much to their confusion. "...Wait! Don't tell me! You! Girl with the green hair! You're Komaru Naegi, aren't you? I got it, right?" She asked.

"...She... literally just told you she is." Uzu answered for Komaru.

"I wasn't asking YOU." The woman grunted.

"H-He's right, you know..." Komaru said.

"Oh, did you? I-I can't help it! I don't share memories with her!" The woman exclaimed.

"Her? Oh, your split personality, right?" Hoka hummed, adjusting his glasses.

"Gah, jeez! Stop saying things that makes no sense! Everything is confusing enough as it is!" Komaru complained.

"You don't know the half of it..." Nonon grumbled.

"At least tell us if your an enemy or a friend..." Komaru asked of the woman.

"W-Well... you can call me your ally." The woman stated.

"Then, come on! If we don't hurry, we're gonna get attacked!" Komaru urged.

"You needn't worry so needlessly, Komaru. We will protect you." Satsuki assured.

"And how are you going to do that?" The woman brought up.

"Heh. Just watch us. You'll get an idea." Nonon boasted. She and the other four members of her party go and destroy the bear-like robots called Monokumas, ensuring the party's protection. "See? Nothing to it."

"You guys are... amazing...!" Komaru marveled. "I wish I could be half as amazing as you!"

"Get yourself a Keyblade, and maybe you can~" Nonon winked.

"...Huh? What's that?" Komaru asked.

"Wait a minute. Are you talking about that weapon from long ago? There once was a boy who wielded such a thing and saved the universe multiple times... Gah, it's like something out of a damn video game!" The woman grunted.

"I know it sounds off-putting or "out there", as it were... but we assure you. The stories you heard of are very real." Ira declared. "Even those things behind you."

"Huh?" Komaru huffed in confusion before she and the purple haired woman look behind themselves and see two Shadows.

"AH!? W-What in the red hell are THOSE THINGS!?" The woman demanded an answer.

"Heartless. They are creatures born from the darkness in one's heart." Satsuki answered.

"I highly advise you to stand back, Komaru. Your gun won't work on them at all." Hoka told Komaru.

"O-Okay!" Komaru nodded. "...Wait, how would you know that?"

"I merely analyzed it. Don't worry. I didn't do anything to it. I also recognized that you were limited in ammo, so I merely removed that limit." Hoka explained.

"Wait, really? Since when!?"

"When you and that woman with the more... docile personality were speaking to each other."

"Wow... I thought you were amazing before...!" Komaru marveled again.

"What are you, president of their fan club now...?" The woman snarked.

"Aaand we're finished." Nonon declared, and, indeed, the Shadows were defeated.

"Well, that was quick." The woman pointed out.

"Those were Shadows, the weakest kind of Heartless and the most common. The closer we are to saving this world from the darkness, the more powerful the darkness will become to compensate. Prepare for the worst." Satsuki warned as she and the others start going downstairs.

"By the way, purple haired lady. What's your name?" Nonon asked.

"You'd forget it anyway, but... it's Toko Fukawa." The woman introduced herself. "The less "docile" personality is Genocide Jack."

"Wait, Genocide Jack? As in... the Ultimate Serial Killer!?" Komaru gasped.

"You're a serial killer!?" Ira shared her gasp.

"T-T-That was in the old days! I've completely tamed her since then!" Toko assured. "Mmm... Master commanded me to discover the secret, and I learned this gun does the trick." She stated, pulling out a stun gun. "And depending on how much I shock myself, after a while, I can go back to my normal self. Hehehe~ Isn't it great? It's all thanks to Master Byakuya~"

"But wouldn't that mean your brain would fry if you used it over and over?" Uzu brought up.

"Yeah, it would..." Toko answered. "I can't just use it at will like that..."

"Well, I guess we'll have to be careful about it, won't we?" Nonon shrugged.

Eventually, the group gets out of the hospital.

"We're finally out, but... where are we?" Komaru hummed.

"Wh-What? Don't you live in this city?" Toko asked back.

"I wouldn't call it "living"... I was imprisoned in an apartment the whole time." Komaru answered.

"Imprisoned, huh? Th-That's an interesting backstory..." Toko huffed.

"But... how did you know I was living in this town?" Komaru asked. "And while I'm at it, this has been on my mind for a while. You said something after we first met. You said "You must be Komaru Naegi". Toko, how did you know my name?"

"D-Don't go all Detective Mode on me out of nowhere! You seriously caught me off guard!" Toko exclaimed.

"But you have to admit that she DOES have a point." Satsuki told, she and the Elite Four in their regular forms.

"I-It's not some big secret or anything... On the helicopter ride, Master mentioned you and..."

"Helicopter? You mean Future Foundation's!? You're a member of Future Foundation!?" Komaru gasped.

"W-Well, I'm more like an intern... That's why I don't have my own uniform yet..." Toko said.

"Oh, THAT'S why you aren't in a suit..." Komaru realized.

"Hey."

"Um, we're right here, guys." Komaru told everyone.

"...That... wasn't us." Nonon replied.

"Huh?"

"I said. HEY."

"Who said that?" Komaru looked around and saw a blue dog with lightning-bolt shaped horns.

"About time you noticed." The dog grunted. "I need your help."

Cue: Temmie Village (Undertale)

"AAAAHHHH! A-A-A-A-A-A TALKING DOG!?" Komaru shouted in shock.

"Can you not be so loud...!?" The dog complained.

"Are you a Heartless...!?" Satsuki grimaced.

"A what? No! I'm an Adept!" The dog exclaimed.

"An Adept? At what? Freaking us the FUCK OUT!?" Toko asked.

"Not initially, but it's going to stay that way until you calm the hell down!" The dog growled.

"...He's right. You two need to calm down. You too, Lady Satsuki." Hoka told. Komaru does just that and looks at the dog.

"...What? Is it because I'm a talking dog again?"

"N-No, it's just... you're... so... fluffy, I'm gonna die~!" Komaru squeed.

"...What?"

*GRAB*

"Oh, you are SOOO CUUUTE~!" Komaru exclaimed in delight as she hugs the dog tightly.

"Oh... Right... I forgot I was in this form for a minute...!" The dog grunted from the tight hug.

"...Didn't know you were a bearhug expert..." Toko snarked.

"I'm not~ This is usually how I am with cute things~" Komaru explained.

"...That explains a lot."

Later...

"So you're really a super-powered person...?" Komaru brought up.

"Yes. I'm what's known as an Adept. Some things happened and I ended up becoming a four-legged dragon, then a human, then this and a human off and on at times, I was possessed, I turned into a dog again, and now I'm here separated from my partner." The dog stated. "Oh yeah. And my name's Gunvolt."

Everyone introduces themselves.
