3rd person P.O.V
Back with Ratchet and Alister it had become evening so the two had found a hotel that had some extra commodities. The hotel had a hot tub, massage room as well as nicely decorated rooms for guests as well as a food area. The key holder up front was a terachnoid they knew well. The terachnoid was Jarvis who was surprisingly keeping his cool despite his slight grudge against Alister. What was weird was Jarvis seemed relieved despite him not knowing what happened a few years prior.
The incident at the clock was only known to the ones that were there as it had been contained before it could branch further. Nobody would know Ratchet had died and had been brought back unless Ratchet and Alister decided to let people know. Jarvis for his part had given the two a discount and a keycard before letting them countinue on their way. The key turned out to belong to a top class room and Ratchet was honestly surprised and so was Alister.
Ratchet's P.O.V
When I entered the room the first thing I made sure to do was contact Clank through his comm. system to let him know we were safe and had a place to sleep for the night and got a response shortly after saying "thank you for letting me know ratchet, have a good night."
After reading that I put my own communicator away and then let Alister choose his bed first. While he was doing that I got my fur brushed out which made the burns under my shirt started stinging from it rubbing against the burn and used the complimentary toothbrush and my own toothpaste to get my fangs cleaned before heading back into the room. When I entered I saw Alister surprisingly choosing the one furthest from the window which would of worries me until I remembered that he probably stared at the stars countless times in his exile.
I took my stuff over to my bed for the night and grabbed out my charging station for my communicator before sitting on the bed to get comfortable. Alister had done something similar though he hid the shopping bags he had somewhere in the room however I didn't pay much mind to it. I wasn't offended that he didn't fully trust me 20 years of fighting, hiding and just in general surviving would make anyone a bit weary.
I know it will take time but, hopefully Alister will become a bit more comfortable. He's already made a few strides. He doesn't flinch when I lightly brush against his arm or get suddenly angry when someone accidentally bumped into him. He went out in public and actually managed to keep his cool and he went into more shops then me.
For tonight hopefully the burn doesn't flare up like it has the last few nights especially with us being in a hotel room. When the wound does flare up I have to literally bite into a pillow or claw at whatever surface is available and I don't really want to damage anything in here as it's a really nice set up. I know I should let the others know as that's not normal but, how am I supposed to explain what it feels like? When it does happen it feels like I'm being hit again by the backlash of the clock basically shattering around us.
Instead of focusing on that I tried getting comfortable as alister was already asleep with his back to me and when I saw the time I had to agree it was late as it was nearly midnight and we had a long flight ahead of us to get back with the supplies and with that I fell asleep finding comfort from knowing I wasn't by myself.
