It had been a couple of months since the team had stopped Darkseid's minions, but they made sure to keep an eye on things so that they would know when Darkseid possibly showed up. They didn't know what to expect when it happened, but they knew that it wasn't going to be easy to stop.

Lois had spent a lot of time working on getting everything for Clark and her wedding together. That helped her keep her mind off of what was to come. It also really helped having three two other women in the house that could help her as well. Kara and Lucy were a lot of help when it came to ideas for the wedding.

Clark had spent most of his time doing chores when he wasn't working at the Daily Planet with Chloe and Lois. They would all patrol like normal, but things seemed to be quiet for now. Almost too quiet for the heroes to be comfortable. They all thought that this might be the quiet before the storm.

It just so happened that this was the day that they were dreading. There was an eclipse in the sky and that was definitely not called for in the forecast, so they knew something was wrong when it happened. The three heroes left the farm house and flew to Metropolis to Oliver's penthouse where he was waiting for them. They also brought Lucy along, so that they knew that she was safe.

"What is going on Oliver?" Clark asked as they all arrived.

"From what I can tell from the satellites, it looks like something the size of a planet is approaching earth. I don't know how we are supposed to stop something like this." Oliver said.

"We will figure it out. So, how long do you think we have before the planet makes contact with earth?" Lois asked.

"Probably between six to twelve hours. I don't know how to tell this kind of stuff. This is where Chloe would be useful." Oliver said.

"Well, here I am. What do I need to do?" Chloe asked as she exited the elevator with Jimmy right on her tail.

"We need you to find out how long we have before this planet makes contact with earth." Clark said and Chloe nodded as she sat down in front of the computer and got to work.

About five minutes later Chloe turned to the team and said, "It looks like with the speed at which the planet is moving toward us, we have about eight hours. I could be off a bit though. Who knows what the earth's gravity will do to it once it gets closer."

"Ok, that kind of gives us a timeline. Now we need a plan to get rid of this thing." Kara said and the heroes moved together to get started on their plan.

. . .

Thirty minutes later the team had their plans. They also brought in heroes that were not based in Metropolis to help as well. These people consisted of Dinah, AC, Victor, and Bart.

Oliver, Bart, AC, and Dinah were to cover the city and make sure that all of the people were safe and out of harm's way. Clark, Lois, and Kara were going to be doing most of the hard work. They needed to find out if Darkseid was already on earth and stop him, while doing what they could to turn the other planet away.

The three heroes made their way back to the farm, because they had a feeling that this was where they would make their last stand against Darkseid. It turned out that they were right. As soon as they walked into the barn, they saw someone that they didn't expect there. Lex was standing in front of them with a dark look in his eyes.

"So, you think you can stop me, Son of Jor-El and Daughter of Zor-El. It won't be that easy." Lex said in a deeply altered voice.

"Darkseid. We are going to do what we can to stop whatever it is that you have planned." Clark said.

"Good luck with that. It is already too late for that. Once I kill the three of you, there will be no one to stand in my way." Darkseid said.

"We will see about that." Lois said as her super hearing picked up something that needed one of their responses.

Clark turned to her and nodded and Lois took off into the air to go and see what was going on. Kara and Clark were now circling Darkseid and trying to figure out the best attack option. It didn't take long for Darkseid to lift his hands and the next thing the heroes knew their necks were being palmed by the man.

He then threw both of them back but Clark and Kara were ready for that as they stopped their flight in midair. The two flew back toward Darkseid and he wasn't quick enough to stop them this time and as the two heroes laid a hard hit on the man, he disintegrated into a lot of crows that flew off.

"That was too easy. I don't think we are done yet." Kara said.

"I think you are right. We need to find a way to get rid of that planet." Clark said.

"I have an idea. I don't know if it will work, but it is worth a try." Kara said right as Lois arrived.

"Sorry I had to leave but a plan was impacted by the electrical interference from the planet." Lois said.

"That's fine. Kara was just going to tell me her plan to get rid of the planet." Clark said.

"I think if the three of us go up to the planet and push it hard enough, we can send it back off into space." Kara said.

"Do you really think we have the strength for that?" Lois asked.

"There is only one way to find out." Kara said and the three of them nodded at each other knowing that this was probably their best option.

The three heroes flew back to Metropolis and then flew up toward the planet and used all of their strength to push the planet away. It seemed to be working and then all of a sudden the planet was going the opposite way out into space.

When the heroes made it back down to the ground the crowd was cheering for them and they all smiled and then made their way back to Oliver's penthouse to meet up with the rest of the team.

"So, this is over with?" Oliver asked.

"As far as we know, yes. We will have to keep an eye out though." Clark said and everyone nodded in agreement.

"We should do something to celebrate. What do you guys think?" Lucy said from the side.

"That sounds like a good idea. We can have everyone at the farm. There is plenty of room there." Kara said.

"Yeah, that is fine with me. Let's go and have some fun while we can." Clark said as everyone nodded because they all knew that they would have other enemies to fight in the future, so they knew they better take advantage of the peace that they had for now.
