Guest 15; Mirajane being like that would be fun to see. Them teaming up would be cool. Yeah, it would be a mix of those personalities.

Guest 16; In the future lemons could happen.

Guest 17; Selene would have prepared for it. Yeah, Selene would do that~

Guest 18; Yeah, his Dragon Force would change his appearance. It would be cool to have hair coloured like that.

Guest 19; He could do.

With those reviews finished, its time to start the chapter!

Chapter 10

Genki and Cana having arrived in Cait Shelter not long ago, was sat across from Wendy, and Carla. They also saw across from the guild master, Genki knew something was different about him. He didn't think the guy was bad, though he didn't even know him so he couldn't say one way or the other.

It was similar for the guild master, who was acutely aware that something seemed to be off all of a sudden as soon as Genki looked at him with recognition in his eyes.

"So, can you tell us, what this is all about? The mission said that this area has been attacked by a Dark Guild, is that right?"

Cana began, so Carla began speaking.

"For a few weeks now, we have had increased attacks around this area. At first, they seemed to be random, like they were trying to simply destroy the area or looking for something. However. That didn't remain the case."

Genki furrows his brows as he asks the next question.

"So, what changed?"

Carla looked uncomfortable, and turned her head right, so Wendy began speaking with a shy voice.

"...T-They w-wanted Carla."

"Your talking cat, why?"

Cana wondered this time, Carla looked reluctant to say anything, and Wendy respected her friend, but also worried for her at the same time, and didn't know if she should say anything regarding Carla as a whole.

"B-Because..."

"The important thing is that they do want me." Carla said while looking towards Genki and Cana without much revealing her inner feelings. "Wendy, she tried to protect me, but she doesn't have the capacity to fight that many people, it was a miracle we got away. And the guild is being run by a woman, with a key like yours, handsome boy."

Genki looked at Virgo's key, then towards Carla with intrigue.

"A Celestial Spirit Mage huh. Was it golden the key that you saw Carla-san?"

"No, silver. Does that matter?"

Carla wondered, so Genki began explaining once more.

"It does. Though, silver keys can be dangerous as well when used the right way, and we can't rule out a hidden gold key either." Genki revealed, then continued. "Because they are after you, we're going to do our best to protect you, and take down the Dark Guild that's been terrorizing you."

Wendy with hopeful eyes, cups her hands together.

"You really will?"

Genki inclines his head.

"We will, promise. Now Cana-san. What's the next step?"

Wishing to be a guide for her and to keep encouraging her, Cana looked closely towards Genki's face, seeing his encouraging look. So she began thinking about what they would have to do next.

"We would...have to get every bit of info they have, right?"

"Exactly, the more we know the better we can prepare."

Cana nods, and turns back to the others.

She then asks about them, and they in turn begin explaining. Genki looks towards the guild master, his eyes never leaving Genki's form. For not even a moment. It was clear by now to Genki that the man had suspicions Genki was aware of something about him, and Genki in turn could tell the same thing about the man.

Once finishing explaining, Cana turned to Genki.

"So what now?"

"What do you think Cana-san?"

Genki asks kindly and with encouragement laced within his voice, Cana got into a thinking pose.

"Well, we haven't got much to go on. They appear, and aren't in the immediate area. The forest is vast. However...hmmm, they will try again, wont they? For the cat girl."

"They could be aware of our presence."

"That is true, so they would probably try something...hmmmm...aaargh, this is getting hard..."

Seeing that she was having some trouble, Genki leaned closer, and showed a strong willed smile.

"Cana-san, what we have to do, is begin preparing, right? We are the ones at the disadvantage of knowledge on the enemy, but they also don't know about us, and our skills. We have to use that to our advantage."

"But, how can we do that?"

Genki showed a light hearted smile on his face.

"They seem to have a good deal of numbers, but we have people here that know this area better than anyone else."

Cana claps her hands together.

"Hey yeah, you're right. We could work with them, and begin setting traps, is that what you're thinking about?"

Genki nods.

"Exactly. On the off chance we don't find them first, and they decide to do an invasion for the cat girl, then we can use this to our advantage. A bigger fighting force, doesn't always equal to them winning. Battle is a mix of brains and brawn. Of course, someone that is incredibly powerful would be difficult to defeat, but remember that we still can gain the upper hand and win. Lets use everything we have to our advantage."

Cana was happy enough to hear that, and thought it would be the best thing to do.

Wendy was marveling at their conversation, how they were making plans together, while Carla kept her eyes up upon them.

She wasn't quick to trust, and she didn't want to let her guard down either.

They were there to help, but for Carla, it was something difficult to wrap her head around.

Once that talk had finished, and everyone was beginning to leave for the time being, Genki turned towards the shy looking Wendy who was looking to begin leaving together with her cat companion.

"Excuse me Wendy-san, can I ask you something?"

The girl looked timidly at him, and gave a shy nod of her head.

"W-What is it?"

"Are you a Dragon Slayer by chance?"

Wendy looked shocked, while Carla narrowed her brows in suspicion.

"Y-You can tell?"

Genki continued on, after nodding a single time.

"Yes, I can. I am a Dragon Slayer as well."

Carla continued narrowing her brows at him, thinking about his Dragon Slayer status, while Wendy became a little more peppy at hearing such words.

"N-No way...you really are...!"

Wendy was showing quite the enthusiasm, seeing as how she was able to have someone else to speak about Dragon Slayer stuff with. She wanted to know about his Dragon, and his magic, she had many questions, but she was shy, and held back what excitement that she had within her being.

"I certainly am. So, did you get taught by a Dragon?"

"Y...Yes, did you?"

Genki inclines his neck.

"I did. So, I guess that you've not seen your Dragon for a while huh." Genki mused, as Wendy nods with a sad touch to her face. "But, I am sure that you haven't given up either." Wendy nods once more, her eyes becoming quite misty. "It is getting a bit late, so why don't we talk more tomorrow, okay?"

"Y...Yes, you're right. A-Allow me to show you both were you can sleep."

"Thank you Wendy-san."

Cana saluted the girl, while Genki bowed his head in thanks.

Wendy then began leading them away.

Genki looked back towards the guild master one last time, seeing his eyes not leaving him for even a moment.

Getting to a private room, both Cana and Genki began settling down for the night.

Wendy was kind enough to give them some food she made, which Genki thought was sweet.

So the pair began discussing what to do next, while eating Wendy's food.

"So, this place is giving off some kinda vibes, huh?"

Genki showed a slight smile, nodding a single time.

"Yes, and it seems the cat girl, Carla-san, isn't very trusting of us. Though I guess it makes sense. People have been trying to kidnap her, and she wants to be sure that we aren't going to be harmful to her, and the others around here."

Cana thought that was reasonable.

That's when Cana developed a slight insecure looking smile on her face, trying to play her insecurities off as a light hearted joke.

"So, tell me wise S Class, how am I doing?"

Hearing her question, Genki briefly paused, and thought about how to reply, then he nods, and continues on with a kind smile.

"Quite well, Cana-san. You've done everything that's been needed to do so far. You shouldn't doubt yourself."

Genki could see through her words, and cut to what she was feeling, as he wanted to keep supporting her, and helping her grow.

"Yeah….I know. I don't wanna make any mistakes, and mess up. It means a huge deal to me, to grow strong, and become S Class."

"Because of Gildarts-san, right?"

Cana froze briefly, before lightly laughing.

"It isn't what you think about us..."

Genki could see that Cana looked a little nervous, so he did his best to assure her.

"Its your decision if you wish to tell me anything Cana-san. I wont ask if you don't want to say. But, I can see that impressing Gildarts-san is important to you. I will say that though, regardless if you become S Class tomorrow, or in a year or two or whatever, Gildarts-san is someone that would be impressed by you right now. Taking charge, and doing everything in your power to make this mission go off without a hitch. You have certainly impressed me, Cana-san."

Cana began blushing lightly at the kindness he was showing to her, even giving her tips and pointers along the way as well as allowing Cana to come to conclusions by herself, and being there when she needed to ask for some advice.

Happily, she felt like she was getting a good deal more than she thought out of this mission together.

Cana playfully jabbed his shoulder.

"You keep saying those sweet lines, and I might have to begin causing Mira some trouble~"

"Sweet lines huh. I only said what I felt deep within my heart."

"Yeah, that's what makes them so good to me." Cana retorted, folding her arms underneath her bust. "So, have you discovered what's going on here? You said you had some kinda feeling about this place?"

Genki mentally searched for anything that could be listening to their conversation, making sure there were no eavesdroppers, before he confirmed that, and spoke directly to Cana herself.

"Please don't say anything to Carla-san and Wendy-san yet, but the guild leader here...I am near hundred percent certain, that he isn't alive."

Cana gasped.

"What? He's dead?"

Cana could hardly believe it and she kept tossing her head side to side, with Genki explaining the best way that he could, even he though didn't have all of the information present, and had to go with what he believed to be the case.

"My gut feeling is that he is some sort of spirit, like a ghost or something. I also don't think he is a Thought Projection either, it feels too different to a Thought Projection."

Cana looked rather surprised.

"Damn...and those two girls, don't know?" Genki shrugs, believing Cana was right based on what he saw. "What about the rest of the guild?"

Genki furrowed his brows, and then continues on.

"That's the thing, I haven't fully figured it out yet, but there's something going on with the other guild members. The only ones I have no doubts about are Wendy-san and Carla-san. The rest...I feel like they're hiding something, the guild master certainly is so they could be hiding that...but, I feel it is more than that. They don't feel like him, like a spirit, yet something is off about them...like they're there, but not there, maybe some kind of magic creation or something?"

Cana lifted her fingers to her lips, in deep thought.

"So, is this guy like...evil or something? Like an evil spirit?"

Genki chuckles, shaking his head.

"I don't believe so, I could see he had genuine care for Wendy-san and Carla-san. But there is some reason he is here, I don't know how to fully approach this yet but I might end up asking directly. If there's nothing I can come up with, or if I learn more about what's going on here. Until then, lets act as if everything is normal, and lets see what else we can find out. Maybe we could speak to the villagers, and casually ask them questions about the guild, things like that."

Cana saluted the young man.

"Leave it with me~"

"Right. For now, lets get some sleep. We've got some Dark Guilds to take down."

Cana lightly laughed, and continued eating her food, while Genki did the same thing.

While that was going on, the young enigmatic woman who was known as Angel, was beginning to formulate a plan within her mind. She saw a golden key, and she so wanted it, no matter what.

The thought of gaining such a key, it was a rarity for any Celestial Spirit Mage to come across, since only twelve existed.

However, something else was a little worrying for her and as she examined the images that she was able to get of the young Genki, she closed and opened her eyes again and again, thinking of the best thing to do.

"While he might be cute, sorry but I have to have that key. I want to collect them all, and that key would be useful to me, and the group at large. Though, I can't see what spirit he has from the key, since it is turned away from me. There's no mistaken that it is a golden key for sure. Originally, I was going to go for someone else's, but opportunities, they have shown themselves before me. First, I will get your key boy, then go for the others..."

Angel fumbled with her bottom lip, and examined the boys face.

She then brought out a key, and held it out before her.

"Open, Gate of the Canis Minor, Nikora." Popping into existence, was a small creature with an orange cone shaped nose, and a green body. "Nico, go and plant some surveillance Lacrima for me around here. I have some stuff to take care of." The little green creature saluted Angel, and ran off with a gleeful step, something Angel found to be amusing. "Though weak and no combat abilities, Nico really has been a useful tool for me, since he emanates so little power, it would be highly difficult for even the most trained sensor to pick up his signature, useful for me to have my own spy network. I am glad I picked up the key."

She thought to herself, eyeing up the keys in her possession.

While she did, two men came into the room.

They looked rather like monkeys, and Angel did little other than acknowledged their presence with a wave of her hand.

"Angel-sama, if we are to get the cat for the guild then we should be making a move before reinforcements arrive. Gato said that he found a request for people to come to Cait-"

"I am aware." Angel revealed, showing her images to the two men. "Gato, and Zato. Mobilize the men, and I will be giving orders soon. That boy is going to be troublesome to deal with especially. If I am right, then he's the Fairy Tail wizard that is S Class that made such a position at a young age. I wish to be careful, yet we wont give up on that cat. We cannot fail. And that boy...he is all mine, understood?"

""Yes Angel-sama!""

The two men Gato and Zato replied, and rushed off, leaving Angel alone.

Her eyes circulated the young man's form, within her view.

Deeply looking at Genki, the young woman couldn't help but lick her lips in anticipation for what was to come next.

The next morning, early into the morning, Genki was already awake, and he was currently in a position with his legs folded, and his eyes closed. As if he was in some kind of meditative state, moonlight was bathing his form, giving him quite the dazzling appearance.

Wendy was one such person who came out early, and noticed Genki, curious as to what he was doing.

She walked over, but stopped herself, as she began to feel nervous about speaking. While Genki was nice, she also was quite the shy individual.

"I wonder what he's doing? He looks so peaceful...and the light, is that Dragon Slayer Magic? It feels so calming, like a gentle breeze on a night walk, its weird but I really like it...ooh, Genki-san. Please open your eyes soon, I have so many questions..."

So she sat patiently, waiting for him to finish up his morning routine.

Carla also happened to come out, and was watching from a distance with scrutinizing eyes.

When he finished, Genki looked towards Wendy, who backed away slightly, and began saying "I am sorry, I didn't mean to..." but Genki waved his hand.

"There is no need for apologies, is there something I can help you with?"

"Yes...I was wondering...what kind of Dragon Slayer, are you?"

"Moon. What about you?"

Wendy was taken aback by that, she hadn't heard of Moon Dragon Slayer magic before. But it did intrigue her all the same.

"The moon...really, so that's what the light was, y-yes?" Genki nods. "...I am a Sky Dragon Slayer."

"A Sky Dragon Slayer huh. That's interesting Wendy-san. So how does a Sky Dragon Slayer fight? Do you fly all over in the sky maybe?"

Wendy showed a small smile on her lips at his playful sweet nature, and gives a slightly shy inclination.

"Well...sort of...but, I can't really fight that well...i-its why I couldn't protect Carla...she was in danger, and I tried...but, I wasn't able to help her...it was a miracle, that we managed to get away...but, it was thanks to Carla, and how quick she could think."

Carla frowned, not liking Wendy putting herself down like that.

Genki also didn't like that either, as he could sense great power coming from her.

"But you did manage to get away, didn't you?"

Wendy nods shyly.

"Y...Yes, we did."

"Then, you managed to win that day. They didn't capture you, and it gave you enough time for us to come to your side, right?" Wendy hadn't thought of it like that. "Besides, you shouldn't put yourself down, Wendy-san. You might not know how to fight yet, but you were taught by a Dragon, and they would have given you the tools on how to fight, right?"

Genki spoke encouragingly towards Wendy, who in turn pushed her small fists outwards, and showed a kind smile.

"Y...Yes, she did, but I didn't...I mean, I want to be able to help...but, all I can do is support...and heal..."

Genki became intrigued when she said that.

"Healing? Amazing, to have such a skill."

"My magic...it allows me to heal...and to support my allies as well...give them and myself boosts...in speed, and power...and defence..."

As she spoke, she was becoming less and less meek, and was developing a little more courage, now that Genki was able to speak with her fully, and she was able to see more of his kind ways.

"Like enchanting." Genki mused aloud. "Impressive, Wendy-san. The power to heal is already extraordinary rare to begin with. But, being able to buff your allies, and even yourself, its a good Dragon Slayer magic that you have."

Wendy looked astonished, and began poking her fingers together in a shy manner.

"Y-You really think so?"

"I do, enchanting magic can be taken quite far, you know? And also, being able to shoot wind attacks can be very useful. So don't take yourself for granted, you have the potential to be quite strong Wendy-san. In fact, I can feel a good flow of magical energy within you, just waiting to come out."

Receiving such praise, Wendy became bashful, with her face turning slightly red, which soon turned into a flush.

Carla on the other hand didn't know what to make of it. She was distrustful of others to a degree, but if it helped with Wendy and her confidence issues, then she was all for it.

"T-Thank you...thank you very much."

"You don't need to thank me...in fact, if you're looking for ways to get stronger, I can give you some tips, if you like?"

Wendy gasped in happy surprise, and pulled ever so slightly closed towards him.

"You would do that?"

"Yeah, of course I would. So, what do you think?"

Wendy's small smile radiated from her cute face, and her fingers began slightly pushing themselves together, which made Wendy look even more cute in Genki's eyes.

"Yes...I would really...like that."

"Great, then whenever you want to begin, let me know."

"I-Is now a good time?"

Genki chuckled.

"Eager, huh." Wendy with a sweet look on her face, glanced left and right, her hands behind her back with her big eyes taking looks towards Genki. "Sure, we can begin now. Cana-san is setting up for our search later on anyway, to see where we can find this guild that's been harassing you...so first, why don't you show me what you can do. Find your strengths, and build on them, while covering your weaknesses. Everyone has both, so lets see what yours are, okay?"

"Okay!"

Carla was surprised to hear Wendy suddenly becoming so excited, and she silently watched as Wendy began the demonstration towards Genki.

"You have an elegant way of moving, Wendy-san. I think that with the right work, you could be able to brawl up close and personal. You might have small fists, but you would be able to pack a huge punch."

The young man himself watched quietly, and gave tips every now and again on how Wendy would be able to improve her stance, or be able to fire her magic off more effectively.

"Wendy...you're smiling, without looking worried. Did this boy bring that out of you? Is it because another human is here to speak with you now? Because he is a Dragon Slayer? Or is it all of those things? He is a Dragon Slayer, and my job is to...but, Wendy is also a Dragon Slayer..."

To Carla, it seemed like Wendy was beginning to learn a bit more, and Carla was having an internal crisis, unsure of what to truly do about what was going on before her. She liked Wendy being happy, and she didn't get any bad vibes from Genki either, but a thought at the back of her head kept going on replay over and over again.

That was when Carla saw the guild master, a man named Roubaul, his eyes turning inwards when seeing the duo learning together.

"It looks like, Wendy is making friends, doesn't it, Carla?"

The old man mused, Carla turned her eyes towards the right, looking down at the ground ever so slightly.

"It does seem so. But, can we trust that human?"

"He came here, for so little reward. Together with his comrade. And he hasn't given us any reasons to distrust him yet. Let us keep our eyes on him, and see what becomes of this, okay Carla?"

Carla nods a single time, and watches Roubaul beginning to leave.

However, she noticed that he was looking towards Genki who was sharing a small laugh with Wendy.

Carla cared for Wendy, and she liked that Wendy was growing as a Dragon Slayer, and if she could, then Carla was truly happy to see Wendy being happy.

With mid day having passed by, Genki was stood with Virgo, while Cana was doing some investigative work near the area, so she could see if she could track down anything that could be useful about the locations of the enemies.

As she did, Carla happened to notice Genki stood with Virgo, becoming perplexed.

"Who is she?"

Carla wondered, Genki glanced towards her, and went to speak, when Virgo placed a hand to her chest, breathing out ever so slightly.

"I am under the service of the handsome Prince."

Carla looked astonished, taking Virgo at her words at face value, becoming rather shocked.

"Handsome...Prince? I wasn't aware he was royalty. If I had known, then I would have..."

Genki waved his hand.

"No, I'm not."

Carla became confused.

"Then, why did she call you a Prince?"

"She just calls me that. She is a Celestial Spirit, someone I trust absolutely."

Carla furrowed her brows.

She looked the young Mage up and down, trying to discern more stuff about him, but it was something even Carla wasn't sure about yet.

"So, on top of being a Dragon Slayer, you're also a Celestial Spirit Mage?"

"Yes, that's right."

Carla nods, and begins walking away without another word.

Genki calls out to her.

"Is something wrong?"

Carla pauses, and turns back towards Genki.

Her eyes linger upon him, and he himself looks curiously towards her.

"No, nothing."

Genki felt like it wasn't true, and watched Carla continue to walk away.

Once she was gone, Virgo turned towards Genki, looking unsure of what had happened.

"Prince, is she...really distrustful of us?"

"...I think she has some issues, she seems to doubt us."

Virgo folds her arms.

"She doubts us?" Virgo looked troubled. "Does she believe we are the enemy?"

Genki paused, and thought about how to answer that.

"I don't think its that far. But, I think she's cautious. Perhaps...she might not have had many interactions with others before. While Wendy-san seems excited to get to know new people, even if she's shy, Carla-san is more cautious, probably also due to the attempted kidnapping of her."

"Catnapping."

Virgo expressed, with Genki giving an amused look.

"I suppose so yeah~"

As he said it, Virgo furrowed her brows.

"Also Prince, do you know who this Celestial Spirit Mage is yet?"

"Not yet." Genki replied, seeing Virgo looking serious. "Is everything okay?"

"I was curious, that's all. If she would have any of my friends. Like Aries, or Aquarius..."

Genki gained an understanding face, placing a hand on top of her head.

"I wouldn't ever ask you to fight a friend of yours Virgo-chan. Leave it with me, I know there are times when Celestial Spirits are forced to fight when they don't wish to do so, so I will do my best to resolve it without harming any spirits."

Virgo blushes lightly, hugging Genki tightly, who lightly rubs the back of her head as he embraces her back.

"If it was for you Prince, I would fight anyone, because you're always so kind to spirits, its a quality I really cherish about you my Prince."

"That's really sweet, thank you Virgo-chan. Still, right now we don't know much about her, Carla-san mentioned about only seeing a silver key, but she could have more hidden, I guess we will find out soon, and deal with it accordingly."

Virgo nods, as Genki happened to notice the guild master Roubaul looking in their direction.

Neither harmful, or with intent to cause harm, Genki knew though that Roubaul was hiding something, and the more the day went on, he was sure that he was getting to the conclusion of what was truly going on in that guild.

Now, he only wished to know why this was going on, and what was truly going on with Roubaul.

Later into the day, with the night drawing in, Genki was relaxing within a large outdoor bath. With only a towel around his waist, he looked up to the sky, and thought about the days events, and what was to come of this.

Soon enough however, Cana came into the hot bath, with a towel covering only the most important areas. Genki glanced to see Cana, and his face turned slightly red upon noticing the beautiful woman, who in turn gained a hint of a teasing smile.

"If I did this back in Fairy Tail, then Mira would come after me. But, its alright if we're alone, right?"

With the slight redness adorning his cheeks, Genki gave a slight nod of his head.

"Yes...we are guild mates, if you're comfortable enough then I'm okay with it as well."

"Great, because we've got things to unpack. Like, speaking to the residence here today, they seemed to be real enough to me."

"Yes, very life like, aren't they?"

Cana nods, and looks towards the hot water, running a hand through the water as she continued on.

"Yet, you're sure they're fake?"

"In many ways, they could be the real deal, but I believe that they aren't real. Not exactly. I think Roubaul-san would have the answers. Its only a question if he would be happy enough to give us said answers."

Cana let out a small breath.

"As for what else is going on, seems like we've hit a bit of a wall, huh? The enemies aren't around here."

"They seem to have taken cover, for the time being. They would have to be close enough to launch attacks, and far enough that it would be difficult to sense them. Tactically speaking, they have done a good job of being able to do those two fronts. However, I think that they've made some mistakes."

Cana tilted her head in wonder.

"What are they?"

"You're about to see."

Cana gave a question mark above her head towards him, when suddenly from the sky, something came crashing down. Cana went to move, when Genki thrusted his hand up, and used his telekinesis to catch the falling object.

Moving his hand downwards, Genki and Cana saw that it was a crystal ball Lacrima.

Genki saw in the crystal ball, it was an image of a beautiful young woman.

He used his magic to float the ball between him and Cana, who pulled closer to Genki.

"Hello, I presume you're the ones that have been causing trouble for Cait Shelter."

"Correct, you may refer to me as Angel."

Cana whispered "Angel acts like a Demon." something Genki noted, and continued on.

"What can we do for you, Angel-san?"

"Well, I spy with my little eye, something that's gold, and all mine~"

Genki lightly chuckled.

"You mean my key, don't you?"

"Correct again. I am glad you aren't stupid. Now, you and I both know that we have situations on both sides that need to be dealt with. We want something inside of Cait Shelter, and you want us to disappear. So, how about we make a deal?"

Genki raised a brow, as Cana spoke up.

"We don't make deals with criminals."

Cana said strongly, Angel wiggled her finger as if she was telling Cana off.

"Now, now. You might want to listen to this. Before you get bent out of shape, we have the upper hand in this you see. We are giving you an out. Because, I am a reasonable woman, I want you to hand over the gate key, and we shall leave the little guild in peace."

Cana scoffs, while Genki glances right, feels something, before turning back to Angel, with a raised eyebrow.

"And you would do that for us?"

Cana looked at him, wondering if he bought into what she was saying.

But it was clear by his gaze slightly on her that he didn't buy what Angel was saying for even a moment.

"For you, I would."

Her words dripped with sweetness, and her eyes showcased a desire. What that was, Cana could only guess. But Genki knew exactly what she was after, and he showed a small smile, but it was full of conviction at the same time.

"That is nice of you, Angel-san. Thank you. But, I would have to decline."

Angel showed a not so pleasant smile on her face.

"You would? That's a shame. I wanted to go the easy way with you. It seems that I wont have that chance after all."

"No, you weren't."

Angel raised a brow.

"You know that for certain, do you?"

"Carla-san. She's clearly important to you, so you'd not waste any opportunity to try and get her, especially after going through lengths to try and capture her in the first place. Also, since you're after my key, I'd assume you're the Celestial Spirit Wizard that I've been told about. Finally, while we've been talking, you've had people infiltrate this guild, haven't you?"

Cana and Angel both gasped, the former hadn't realized, while the latter was angrily shocked at the fact he was able to figure it out.

"So you figured it out, you are smart as well as cute. By now, they'd have gotten your little cat."

"No, they wouldn't. They're about ten seconds away from doing it, so sorry to cut this short, Angel-san. I have to get going and stop your minions now."

Cutting off the Lacrima, Genki and Cana both stood up, moving towards the area the others were at.

As that was going on, Wendy was sat outside of the guild hall, and Carla was sat close by, silently looking to the young Dragon Slayer, as she rattled off a few things about Genki and what he had been showing her.

"It was amazing Carla...he really can fight so well...he looked majestic as he was training me..."

"Yes...it seems that he is good for you, Wendy."

Sensing the tone that Carla used, one of far off distance as if she had thoughts on her mind, the young girl questioned the cat girl.

"Carla, is everything okay? I know those people are still out there. But I believe Cana-san and Genki-san will be able to stop them."

"No, it isn't that child. I was thinking of something else."

Wendy looked perplexed, and tilted her head side to side.

"What is it?"

Carla looked down towards the ground, and hummed as she thought about how to express her thoughts.

"Do you think they can be trusted, Wendy?"

"Huh? What do you mean? They've been nothing but nice to us, Carla."

Carla nods her head, and fumbles with her lower lip.

"Maybe I am being too cautious."

Carla mused, but kept up her stern expression.

As they chatted together, two figures came out of the shadows.

Slowly, they approached the small cat girl.

Carla and Wendy still unaware, continued to speak about a number of things.

Moments later, Carla saw a shadow on the ground.

Overcasting her own, Carla's eyes widened and she turned to see a monkey looking human coming towards her, his hand stretching out for her.

"No!"

She gasped, and tried to pull away…

When suddenly she saw beautiful light shine towards the enemy, overtaking his form, and sent him flying towards a building on the other side of the guild base, smashing his body deep into the building, and took him out immediately.

Carla and Wendy looked to see it was Genki who had managed to save Carla in time, with Wendy blushing profusely upon realizing that Genki was nearly naked while doing so, and let out a cute "N-Naked!" while Genki gave her a bemused look, seeing how shy she was being, covering her face with her hands.

"Wendy-san, Carla-san, you both okay?"

Wendy nods shyly, while Carla averts her eyes, but still managed to give a nod.

Cana herself pulled up behind him, and produced some cards.

"Looks like we got here in time! Heh, some of my traps got them!"

Cana was proud of herself, Genki gave a strong nod, while the Mages rushed them with their guns.

"You ruined it!"

A man yelled, appearing beside Wendy, and tried to attack her, only for Genki to flash between them, and deliver a powerful elbow strike towards their body, it was enough to down the man to his knees, where Genki flicked his forehead with enough strength that he was sent plummeting into the ground.

At the same time, Cana threw her cards, that with their sharpness, cut through some appearing enemies guns. Cutting them in half, the guns dropped down to the ground, then Cana twirled a card in her hand.

"Summoned Lightning!"

Using her cards, she produced lightning and it wrapped around the enemies bodies, shocking them to a degree that they were stunned long enough for Genki to flash to each of them, deliver one punches and knocking them out cold for good.

Wendy and Carla watched in amazement as that happened, with Genki and Cana then getting beside the two of them, looking around for any more enemies.

"Think that's it, Genki-kun?"

Cana asks, Genki nods.

"Think so."

As he said it, the crystal in his hand lit up, so Genki placed it mid air via telekinesis, and pulled back along with the others.

All of them saw Angel.

Wendy became a little worried, and hid slightly behind Genki, while Genki himself saw Wendy looking nervous, so he placed a comforting hand on her head, something Angel noticed.

Carla gave an unsettled look.

"That's her, the one that tried to take me."

Carla informed, with Genki nodding and Angel showed no worry, in fact she looked excited.

"What a display, that light you used...it looked heavenly." Angel admitted with a slight redness on her face. "It seems someone has been hiding their own angelic side." Genki and the others looked at one another, as Angel continued. "By the way cute boy, not using your spirit? They are great tools, you know?"

"Tools? No spirit is my tool, Angel."

Angel looked perplexed, folding her arms under her bust.

"They are our tools. They live to serve us, did no one teach you that? You use them to fight for you, to be our weapons, simply tools."

"No, they are our allies, Angel, to work together with us. I would never even contemplate thinking of them as simple tools for me to use."

Angel gave a complicated look.

"If you think like that, then you wont utilize them the best way."

"My spirit and I work very well together. Maybe you think like that, but I can't. My spirits are as important to me as humans are."

Angel contemplates what he was saying, then shows a dismissive look.

"Important as humans? Ooh, you sweet boy."

"Think of it what you will, but that is what I feel."

"Heh, is that so? Well, this was only the beginning. Soon, we will be coming for you. No mistaken little cat. You will be ours. No matter the protection you have, you will be coming with us."

Hearing that, Carla looked away with a pale face, while Genki glanced down at the small cat girl.

Wendy tightened her fists together, and spoke up "I wont let you have her!" in a surprise to most around, while Angel scoffed.

"Little girl, you might have that boy, and girl with you. But I have an entire guild with me. There's nothing they can do under the might of that power. You will be under our control, little cat. Our prisoner."

"She wont Angel." Genki spoke up, catching Angel off guard. "You'll have to come through me if you want her, Angel. Everyone has a right to be free, I wont let you take that away from her."

Angel was taken aback by those words, staring towards the young man, who in turn gave back a defiant look.

For a brief moment, Genki saw her eyes turning to the side, as if his words had made her feel something.

But that was soon replaced with her usual strong expressions.

"Now, I'll be seeing you real soon, and that key you have you angelic boy, shall be mine. Then after we are finished...ooh, well I have many ideas on what we can do together."

With that, the communication was cut off.

Genki saw no reason to have the sphere near them, in case Angel tried to eavesdrop, so he sent it a great distance away.

He then looked down towards the troubled looking Carla, who in turn began looking up towards him with a worried gaze.

"To be honest, I am surprised they're going through all of this to get you. We have a similar cat to you back in Fairy Tail, and while he is unique in a few senses, I haven't seen anything that would warrant a response like this."

"...It seems that your cat doesn't have the same ability..."

Carla stopped, and placed her hands together.

Wendy, concerned for her friend, turned towards the semi naked Genki.

Her face tinged red, but fought down her shyness, and spoke in a kind manner.

"Genki-san...Carla, she is unique...she has a special power..."

"Wendy...that is..."

Carla tried weakly to object to it, so Wendy spoke up with conviction in her voice.

"Carla...I know you're worried, but you saw what happened...they came to protect us, right away. I...understand your worries...but, they are good people. We have to tell them...because they have to know Carla...in case it might be important...they aren't like that Angel-san, they will help us Carla."

Carla lowered her head, and let out a small breath.

"Honestly child..." Carla relented, turning to Genki and Cana. "Alright, but first. You two need to get into some clothes, such exposure around the pair of us."

Genki looked down and laughed lightly, while Cana seemed perfectly fine with what was going on.

"Yes, we will get changed."

Genki and Cana turned around, and began walking away. However, as they did, Genki noticed that while several people were around, it seemed that they didn't fight against the invading enemies. Which made Genki sure on what it was he was dealing with now.

Once dressed, Genki and Cana sat down together with Carla and Wendy within a quiet room.

Carla looked between them, before she began speaking.

"The reason they are after me...I do not know how they obtained this information...but, I have the ability of Precognition."

"To see future events, huh. Quite a power. That explains a few things."

Genki mused, Carla hesitates briefly, but upon seeing Wendy and her encouraging eyes, she continued.

"Yes...that is right. As I said, I have no clue how they found out I had this ability, but they did, and have been coming for me. They said that they wished for my power. But didn't specify why they wanted it."

Genki could understand now why the enemies were after her.

Before, he didn't really understand beyond the fact that she was a talking cat, and they perhaps wished for her to experiment on or something. But this cleared it up, and it now fully formed in Genki's mind what goals the enemies truly had for Carla.

"If they have a goal in mind, or if they simply saw a chance to gain such a strong gift to either experiment on, or to give to someone else, either way it doesn't matter to us what their agenda is because they wont get to you." Genki said kindly, to Carla's surprise. "Thank you for sharing that with us, we wont share it with anyone else that you don't want to know about it. And you can be assured, that we will protect you with our lives, Carla-san."

Carla gasped quietly, and bowed her head ever so slightly.

People that she thought she wouldn't be able to trust, were doing their best to keep her safe. Even after she had told them about her power.

Wendy showed a cute smile, turning towards the bewildered Carla.

"See? I told you Carla...they are good people. Not everyone is bad, you know?"

Carla let out the faintest of laughs, almost unheard by anyone. But to the Dragon Slayers, they both heard it, and it caused Wendy to show her cute smile even more, and for Genki to lightly smile as well, reaching out, and petting the cat girls head gently.

Carla looked up, and saw his smile aiming towards her, causing Carla to slightly avert her eyes away with slight embarrassment on her face.

"N-Now I look foolish, for believing such things."

"You don't, you were understandably unsure because you haven't met many people from outside of this guild, right?" Carla nods at Genki. "And the ones you've met so far, besides us, have all been trying to hurt you and Wendy-san, right?" Again, Carla nods. "No worries on our part, we hold no grudges."

"Yeah, we've got nothing to worry about cat girl." Cana adds on, turning to Genki. "Now all we have to do is take down these enemies. But, that threat-"

"It was a bluff, to try and intimidate us, and to try and catch us off guard. Making us believe that a big army is coming to divert our attention. Though, the fact that she knew about our location, only confirms that she has been spying on us. I've had Virgo-chan locate every last Lacrima that she could be using secretly, so we're free to speak in here."

Genki revealed, with Cana nodding in agreement.

"Exactly what I was thinking, and thank God we know what and how she's been getting her information. If she had this grand army, why not send everyone out here now?"

"Yes, that's my train of thought as well. My conclusion is that she does have some kind of plan to take us down. But she is over-exaggerating the guilds power that she is with, and she got a taste of our power, now she's rethinking her best course of action."

"So, what do we do now S Class?"

Genki shows a confident smile.

"Cana-san, I know what we can do, and I am sure you have a good idea too, right?"

Cana laughs, scratching the back of her head.

"Think so yeah, we're gonna give this Angel a taste of some mere mortals like us?"

"Haha, exactly. Lets have Angel-san come to us on our terms, not hers."

Wendy and Carla looked perplexed, as Genki and Cana began discussing battle plans, knowing that they'd have to act very soon. Wendy in the end though was really glad that they had come, now she knew her friend would be under the best protection that they could be.

Late at night, or perhaps early in the morning, with the sun yet to rise, Genki went to the guild hall, he noticed the others were asleep, besides the old guild master. The man looked towards Genki, still sat in the same place he left him beforehand.

"I am sorry for coming at this time, Roubaul-san."

"No, please come inside young man. With Wendy and Carla asleep, I think now would be the best time to speak to one another."

Genki walked over, and sat down in front of the old man.

Looking at Roubaul for a few moments, Genki didn't say a word, instead he kept up his curiosity at the same time as Roubaul was doing the same thing right back.

Eventually, Genki began speaking.

"Roubaul-san, may I ask you something about you?" Roubaul nods his head. "Roubaul-san, you aren't alive, are you?"

Roubaul paused, but then showed a small smile on his face.

"Not even Wendy, who has been here for a few years, was able to figure that out. Yet, you did so."

"The illusions were very realistic, very difficult to tell apart. Those within the village, are all generated from you, aren't they? I was taken aback, as it was something I hadn't seen before. Even Wendy-san and Carla-san seemed to have no idea at all. I was very impressed with your ability when I figured it out. I must admit, it was difficult, you hid it rather well, so I must applaud you on that. So lifelike, it truly is a strong skill that you have."

Roubaul began to laugh to himself.

"I see, so that's how it. Does Wendy or Carla know anything?"

"I haven't said anything. But, can I ask, how did this even end up coming about?"

Roubaul nods a single time, and begins to explain a little more.

"Wendy was brought here by a young man with blue hair a few years before. She was left here, and she wished to join a guild. She was sad and upset at first, having been left by this man. So, I made her a guild, to cheer her up. To give her some sense of normalcy. She was an innocent girl, I hadn't the heart to tell her about the guild. Then soon after, Carla came in the form of an egg, and hatched. Ever since, they have lived here."

"I see...so, that's how it after all. That was kind of you, to support this girl like you did. To give her a sense of a home."

"But, it isn't real. Its merely an illusion, and one day, my illusions, will be gone, and so will I."

Genki could see that Roubaul seemed to have a sad expression on his face.

"Eventually, you'll have to explain to them about this. It might be hard, but the truth will have to be known."

Roubaul agreed with what Genki said, and continued on.

"Yes, you're right. I don't know how to break it to them. When I do, and I have to disappear...I will be worried for them. I don't want them to be alone."

Genki could certainly understand his concerns.

It was clear on his face.

His voice also betrayed his worry quite well as well.

Genki exhaled, and showed a soft smile on his face.

"They don't have to be alone. I would take them with me, if that is something they would want."

Roubaul let out a small hopeful gasp.

"You would?"

"Yes, I would do, if that is what they want. I can understand everything you've done for them, it was very kind of you to do this for the to give them this home. If they so desire, then they could come to Fairy Tail, I think for them...it would be a good place, I am sure they would make many friends."

Roubaul began to chuckle to himself, Genki's words made Roubaul show a grand smile on his face.

"They have been here, around illusionary people for too long. I wish for them to be happy, and to have genuine friends. And I can see, both Wendy and Carla are beginning to warm up to you, and to your friend as well."

Genki was happy about that, and he would be happy to take them with him.

"And what about you, Roubaul-san? Would you go to...the afterlife?"

"Yes." Genki felt like that wasn't genuine in how he spoke, as if he was hiding something. "Anyway, we can discuss this soon. Once the threat is over. First, its time to get this Dark Guild under control. I know Wendy felt helpless during the time when they came for Carla, I felt for her, but it is as you said to her, she has incredible potential, perhaps you could bring it out of her."

Genki remembered when Wendy expressed that.

"Yeah, I would help her reach her potential, and beyond."

Roubaul looked happy with that, he was happy for Wendy to find someone to help her.

He continued listening to Roubaul for a short time, and could hear the genuine affection he had for Wendy and Carla, and didn't want to leave them alone, after he had to depart.

Though Genki did feel like Roubaul was hiding something, he didn't sense anything malicious in his intentions, so he had come to the conclusion that whatever it was, was something personal that he didn't wish to reveal, and if it wasn't important to what was happening right now, or the in the immediate future, then Genki wouldn't push the issue any further.

"...So that's it. With Wendy and Carla..."

"Whatever happens, I will keep them safe, Roubaul-san."

Roubaul looked relieved when hearing that.

Now that Genki knew what was truly going on around there, if they so desired, he would take them with him back to Fairy Tail, it also seemed from Genki's perspective, that was something Roubaul would also be for as well.

Whatever happened, Genki did wish to help them, as he also understood what it could mean to be left by everything they would ever know, and didn't want them to feel worried or as if they would be alone.

As that was going on, Angel was in deep thought about what her next plan was going to be.

Seeing the actions of Cana and Genki, she knew it would be difficult.

However, something else played on her mind, and she couldn't help but notice...his protective side.

But something else confused her, and that was his care for spirits.

Her eyes went towards the keys that she had, and then towards the window.

"Caring for spirits...why would someone care for spirits..."

She mused aloud, taking one of her keys, and dangling it before her eyes.

Angel stood from her seat, and walked towards the window, waving her key beside her.

Her eyes cast themselves to the sky, and she exhaled.

Angel watched the sky, seeing the heavens opening up themselves.

The moon that evening looked particularly big, and bright, shining down a beautiful light.

"Everyone has a right to be free..." She echoed the words Genki said before, hugging her upper body. "Just who are you...Genki-kun...?"

End chapter!

So this chapter had Genki spend time with Wendy and Carla, the former warming up rather quickly, while the latter took sometime due to various things. Angel was revealed, and has her eyes set on the key that Genki has, and wont take no for an answer, unfortunately for her she got quite the shock. Now Cana and Genki are coming to some understandings, and are ready to face Angel and her group. Also, Genki discussed with Roubaul about what was truly going on, with Roubaul wishing for Wendy and Carla to be happy, something Genki also wishes for, and has agreed to take them with him, if they wish to go. And Angel herself seems fascinated with Genki, and what he said.

Well, until next time, thanks for reading!
