With Rin's confusion due to Scáthach seeming like a Lancer, she decided she didn't want to deal with whatever was going on. Thus, she headed home after calling Archer to retreat. But that is not the main reason she decided to leave.

As for Jaune, Scáthach and Lancer, they stared at each other.

But after a while, Jaune shrugged his shoulder and walked back to his 'tent'.

Lancer was unlucky to have met Scáthach. She dragged him and brought him with Jaune to his 'tent'. It was a long way away.

Once Jaune and the others entered the 'tent', Medea was nowhere to be seen.

Jaune assumed that Medea left the 'tent' to discover herself with the remaining magical energy she had.

Thinking about it, Jaune snickered.

Remaining magical energy? Sure, why not.

The amount of magical energy Jaune gave Medea to keep her around was massive to the point that if she figured out just how much magical energy she has, she could punch a hole into the Root.

Holy Grail? Why? If Jaune wanted, he could easily use his magical energy to access the Root, but he has no reason to do so as he has no other wishes he desires to fulfil through a wish-granting device.

Looking around the room, Rin and Archer were nowhere to be seen.

Once again, Jaune snickered at the lovely Tsundere. Him telling her that he knew nothing of what was going on and acting like an innocent child that got caught red-handed annoyed her to the point that she wanted to use a command spell to force Archer to kill him.

There was even a point where Jaune said he knew nothing about Servants as he had no Servants, but Rin pointed at the 'Command Spell' on his hand.

Jaune looked at Rin with a raised eyebrow.

It was funny, Jaune was telling the truth when he said he had no Servant, but because his key to travel to the multiverse looked like a Command Spell, Rin refused to believe him.

The entire time, Jaune was looking at Rin's hands. It made him remember something.

Speaking of, Jaune was thinking of giving Saphron and Terra special gifts that would be helpful to keep them safe in case they were targeted due to him.

Jaune already made an item for Saphron and Terra for passive protection. Meaning, it would activate without their command, but Jaune wanted them to learn to protect themselves.

So, upon seeing Rin, Jaune thought of a way to let them use magic for active protection.

Magic Crest.

That was the key to letting Saphron and Terra get the ability to wield magic.

Jaune planned to make a device that has a magic crest with different magic recorded into it.

However, Jaune didn't want to make a mediocre item for Saphron and Terra.

No, Jaune wanted to give them something amazing.

That's when an idea popped up in his head.

Bronze Link Manipulator. It was a handy tool, but its design is a bit inflexible. Hence, Jaune thought of creating one in the form of Octavius Arms with Magic Crest.

Jaune smiled as he thought of something amazing.

Unfortunately, it will take Jaune time to make the item he wanted since he had no knowledge of Magic Crest or the Octavius Arms, but he didn't need it as the Arc of Embodiment will create it without issue.

Although, knowing the workings of a Magic Crest and the Octavius Arms would speed up the process of creating it. Mostly the Magic Crest since it was more intricate than the Octavius Arms.

While Jaune was thinking about the weapon he plans to create for Saphron and Terra, one thing he realised with his interaction with Rin, he tends to be annoying to people in the Type-moon universe. This was the second time that he has annoyed someone in this universe with little to no effort.

Was he an annoying person?

"Nah!" thought Jaune. That can't be right. "No one else complains about me. It must be the people here. They are easily irritated. Man! Can you imagine if I went to the cultivation world? I can irritate the people here with ease. I wonder if it would be even easier there. Then again, I'm not the irritating one, I refuse to believe that".

Lancer was staring at Scáthach. He didn't know why he was here. He tried to leave but Scáthach's Primordial Runes blocked his path. He knew that he would not be able to leave no matter how he tried. So? He complied with her wants.

During this time, Jaune made a whipping sound and laughed out loud.

Scáthach gave Jaune a look, but he turned around and told her she can kiss his ass. This elicited Scáthach to roll her eyes at him. If there is anyone brave enough to do such a thing, only Jaune is.

After all, who would want to turn around and showcase their ass to a woman with a long ass stick she can use to shave into your ass. No one! That's who!

"You two seem close," said Lancer. He found Jaune and Scáthach's relationship quite funny. Scáthach seems to find Jaune's presence calming in a way. "So, is this your new student?".

"I would like to say no since he is irritating, but yes he is," said Scáthach. She looked at Jaune before looking at Lancer again. "He is someone with unfathomable potential. It wasn't too long ago I started teaching him and he already defeated me".

"I see," asked Lancer. "Potential. Is that the reason you started training him. Because from where I stand, it doesn't seem to be the case".

"No, I took him as a student so he would quit annoying me," said Scáthach. Her eye twitched at the memory. It was irritating, but a fond memory of her meeting Jaune. "But I would never change anything even if I was given a chance".

"Eh… This is quite different," said Lancer. The way Scáthach acts was different from her usual self, but it was good different. "Well, I am happy for you both. I'm glad that you found someone to share your life with".

Scáthach and Jaune looked at each other, and then Jaune spoke.

"What are you talking about?" asked Jaune. He didn't understand Lancer's words. "What did you mean by those words?".

"Hmmm? Aren't you both dating?" asked Lancer. He was sure that Jaune and Scáthach were dating with the way they acted. "You two acted so much like a couple that I assumed you both were".

Weirdly, Scáthach did not feel like correcting Lancer. So, she left it be.

"Whoa! Hold on!" said Jaune. He likes Scáthach, there is no question about it. "Look, Scáthach is great, but I already have two girlfriends back home".

It stung. Scáthach felt her heart and chest tighten as she heard Jaune's words.

Wait…Hold on…Two?

"Did you say two?" asked Lancer. He was curious since he knows the modern world. "I don't think that's allowed in this modern era. At least not in this country".

"For one, I don't care if it was allowed or not, I am no regular person. I don't necessarily have to follow the societal norm or law to a certain degree," said Jaune. When he accepted his relationship with Saphron and Terra, he changed the way he thought about it. Why did he care if Remnant allows it or not? He is not stuck in staying on Remnant. He can bring his entire family to other worlds. "It's not like they can do anything".

Hearing Jaune's words gave Scáthach an unknown sense of relief. Something she didn't understand. After all, it has been so long since she felt anything like it.

"And two, it was not my idea," said Jaune. He sighed. "My girlfriends were the ones that wanted to date me at the same time".

It was true, Saphron and Terra even planned out everything. If it wasn't for OTG, they would have had to work harder for Jaune to accept their current relationship.

Back on Remnant.

Saphron and Terra both sneezed at the same time.

"Hey, Terra. Do you think Jaune is talking about us?" asked Saphron. She looked at Terra. "I have a feeling that he is talking about us".

"You're not the only one," said Terra. She then continued doing what she was doing before sneezing. Packing her things with Saphron. "Can I ask again? Why am I joining you and your family to meet a family friend in Patch? I have no connection with them".

"Ah! But that is where you are wrong!" said Saphron. She then smiled. "You don't have a connection to them, yet! But I have this feeling that you're going to be an Arc in the future. I have this sense that you are devoted to Jaune, am I wrong?".

"Nope! That is for certain," said Terra. She can't imagine not being with Jaune. Her time with Jaune is something she has no desire of losing. "Do you think Jaune will ever leave me?".

"I wouldn't say he wouldn't with a hundred percent certainty, but it is highly doubtful," said Saphron. She knows her brother. The way he smiled when he was with them or when they were messing around, was not a fake. Jaune genuinely loved their company. "He isn't the type that would do so without reason. Or with a pathetic reason".

A few minutes later, Saphron and Terra finished packing their things. They were ready to embark on a journey to Patch.

"Are you girls done with your packing?! We are leaving in a few minutes!" shouted Amarilla. She was downstairs with all the other bags that have been packed. "We only have an hour before the Bullhead to Vale leaves! If we miss it, we will have to book another, and they don't come by these parts often!".

"Okay! We're done packing!" shouted Saphron. She and Terra then headed downstairs. Saphron then looked at her mother and spoke. "Why do we have to bring so much stuff? We are only going to be staying there for a few days".

Amarilla didn't answer as she was bringing the bags to the car.

Saphron sighed and whispered to herself.

"I don't want to travel…," whispered Saphron. She would rather do something else. "I would rather watch Jaune's adventure on the Tv".

"Come on, Saph," said Terra. She was quite close to Saphron; hence she heard her whisper. "I would love to do that too, but we can't be doing that all day. Plus, who says that OTG wouldn't let us watch Jaune's adventure wherever we are?".

Saphron beamed at the prospect of what Terra said. She never thought about that.

"You're right!" said Saphron. "Okay, now this trip doesn't bother me as much".

"Come on. I know your mom doesn't like it when her plans are messed up due to tardiness," said Terra. She shivered at the thought of Amarilla's twitching eye. "I don't want to be part of that fiasco again".

Thinking about it, Saphron shivered as well.

"Yeah, you're right," said Saphron. She picked up her bag and a few others to make sure that they don't have to come back more than necessary. "Let's get this over with. Thankfully, mom said that we won't be staying over for too long".

Travelling to the bullhead port by car didn't take long but getting to Vale from a settlement outside the four kingdoms took twelve hours.

The reason? The only bullhead that comes to a backwater town like the Arc's hometown is a desperate bullhead company. Meaning, not a very good company as they would have to risk Grimm attack just to gain enough capital to continue operating.
