Kitty went into the living room of the Lookout Tower. Ryder was playing video games, the light of his puppad shining on his face.
"Hi, Ryder," Kitty said, her mouth full of mice. "Can I join you?"
"Sure."
Kitty quickly finished her midnight snack, then quietly got up.
"I could give a thousand reasons why," Ryder began to sing, catching Kitty by surprise. "But your goin', and you know that-"
"All you have to do is stay," Kitty joined in, switching to her human form.
"A minute, and take your time." Ryder continued.
"The clock is tickin'" Kitty responded.
"So stay." Ryder blinked.
"Yeah, all you have to do is" Kitty sat next to him.
"Wait, a second." Ryder leaned into her.
"Your hands on mine," Kitty pulled her jacket on tighter.
"The clock is tickin'"
"So stay,"
"Stay!" They sang the last part together.
"What's going on in here?" They looked at Chase, unsurprised.
