As Jaune was testing out the new toy he created, he heard rustling in the forest he was in. He was sure that there was no one around before.
Jaune turned his head to the right and was met with a hulking brute that was breathing heavily. On the shoulder of said brute was a little girl that looked no older than 12 years old.
Of course, Jaune knew who these two were. He shook his head and was heading out of the forest, but when Illya took notice of how he made no reaction she was interested in him.
Illya knew that only people of the Moonlit world would have little to no reaction to a being like Berserker. She smirked as she saw the 'Command Spell' on Jaune's right hand.
"Get him, Berserker!" said Illya. She is a Magus; she has no issue with killing.
"Wait, hold on," said Jaune. But it was left unheard. The slab of stone on Berserker's hand slammed down on him. "I said, hold on!".
Jaune stopped the stone slab on its track.
To say that Illya was shocked was understating what she was feeling.
Jaune is not as strong as a Servant but is as strong as a Heroic Spirit that is not being restricted by their container and Master.
Scáthach was no Servant nor is she a Heroic Spirit. However, she was akin to a Divine Spirit. She was vastly stronger than Servants that are limited to their container and Master.
Jaune reared back his hand and punched Berserker in the head. It was obliterated.
"Berserker!" shouted Illya. She could not believe that Berserker was killed with a simple punch. A moment later, Berserker healed. "Go! Berserker! Kill him!".
With a roar, Berserker charged at Jaune who, in turn, sighed at the gigantic being of muscle.
He was going to feel bad for what he was about to do, but she did try to kill him. Jaune may not be willing to kill Illya, but he has no issue with ending the life of Berserker.
As Berserker charged at him, Jaune took out Greed and proceeded to turn it into its scythe form, not only in its normal scythe form but it's ultimate.
"Bloody Inferno!" said Jaune. There was no hesitation in his attack.
As the blade of Greed passed through Berserker, Illya thought nothing happened. She gave Berserker an order to kill Jaune, but the Servant did not move, but instead, started to dissipate.
How? Berserker has God Hand.
That did not matter as Jaune did not attack his body, but his Saint Graph, his core. God Hand may be akin to time reversal, but it isn't capable of reversing the damage done to its Saint Graph.
"Berserker!" shouted Illya. The Holy Grail War only started, and she has yet to accomplish her goal which has to do with Shirou. "No! Berserker!".
Jaune then approached Illya.
"Leave," said Jaune. He looked at Illya and sighed. "I will give you a little hint on what may happen to you. I suggest you not return to the Einzbern as they were the reason for your father not being able to meet with you. Kiritsugu has tried to take you away multiple times only to be rejected.
Now, if you are to return to the Einzbern, you will be nothing more than a useless tool. Bring your Homunculus and leave this town, or you can stay with your brother Shirou Emiya".
Illya looked at Jaune in surprise. He knew things about her that should be unknown to others.
Jaune did not stay for long, but there is something he just realised.
Couldn't he have used Berserker as a way to test out the Octavius Arms?
"Damn it!" shouted Jaune. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing when he decided to end Berserker since it would be a pain to deal with when he needed to make another Octavius Arms. "Maybe next time I should think things through rather than doing what comes to mind".
Jaune shrugged it off as he could test it out another time. For now, he wanted to return to the 'tent' and take a shower.
One thing to note, Lancer was gone the following morning before Jaune headed to the Emiya house. Told by Scáthach to Jaune. Lancer's Master used a Command Spell to summon him back to his position.
Whatever the case may be, it didn't concern Jaune.
…
Ruby was acting… well, her age, like a child.
"Did you see that?!" said Ruby with immense enthusiasm. "He went Bam! Whoosh! Slash! And the thing was disintegrated!".
Ruby said what she did because she believe that she was watching nothing but a show. However, Saphron and Terra were shocked that Jaune did a decisive kill without hesitation.
They knew that the life of a Huntsman would not be only about dealing with Grimm, but also criminals, bandits, and other unsavoury types of people, and they accepted that.
However, it doesn't mean they have to like it just because they accepted it.
"That was brutal," said Terra. She saw the way Jaune was able to destroy the hulking brute's head with a single punch. "Do you think there is a Huntsman or a Huntress that is capable of doing what he did? Let's say with a semblance that amplifies their strength".
"Highly doubtful," said Saphron. She might not be a Huntress, but her parents are or were. "No way is there anyone with enough Aura to amplify their strength to that level. Even if they have a Semblance to give them a further push. Plus, did you see that the hulking brute did not seem like a common man? I doubt any Huntsman can beat it, let alone do what Jaune did to it".
Terra nodded her head.
"You're right," said Terra. She understood that Jaune was no longer a person that can be compared to the people of Remnant. "You know, I wish to one day go on travels with Jaune. Preferably with a family to a peaceful world".
"Me too, Terra. Me too," said Saphron. She was quite curious about the type of worlds there are. "Seeing the world Jaune has been to got me curious about different universes".
"You know what they say…," said Terra. But she was not able to say what she wanted as Saphron cut her off.
"I know! I know! Curiosity Killed the Cat," said Saphron. Terra nodded at her as Saphron got what she wanted to say. "However! Jaune use to say that is incomplete. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back!".
Terra was amused. She has never thought about the saying being incomplete.
"Huh? Never heard of that before," said Terra. It has always just been 'Curiosity Killed the Cat' and nothing more. "Who knew? I certainly didn't know that the saying was incomplete".
"As I said, Jaune told me that the saying people use were always incomplete," said Saphron. She was feeling a bit smug about knowing something that Terra didn't know. Why? Because Terra seems to know more than she does. Example? When OTG talked about the multiverse. "You know, I may have only learned the complete saying from Jaune, buy by Oum! It feels so nice to know something that you didn't".
Terra laughed at Saphron.
The interaction of Jaune's girlfriends was being watched by the little reaper the entire time. She understood nothing.
Since she understood nothing, Ruby decided to leave them be.
However, she suddenly realised something. They were talking as if they know the person on the Tv. Could it be?
Ruby zoomed to Saphron and Terra.
"Hey! Do you know the person on the Tv?!" asked Ruby. She didn't know if they did, but it got her excited. "Can you introduce me to him? I want to know how he created those arms!".
"Whoa! Calm down…" said Saphron. She didn't know what the little girl's name was. "What's your name again?".
"Ruby! Ruby Rose!" said Ruby. She did a pose. It was adorable.
"He-he! Alright, Ruby," said Saphron. When Ruby did a pose, it reminded her of a younger Jaune doing the same thing. "To answer your question, we do in fact know the person that is on the Tv. He happens to be our boyfriend".
Ruby was amused.
"Whoa!" said Ruby. "It's like dad with my mom and Yang's mom!".
"Right," said Saphron. "We can introduce you to him but will have to happen later as you can see, he isn't here at the moment".
"Ohhhhh…," said a saddened Ruby. It would have been cool to get to know the person that created the mechanical arms. "Huh? Is the mechanical arm real or is it special effects? I know Atlas has technology that can make pretty amazing special effects".
"Oh, believe me. The mechanical Arms are real," said Saphron. "When he comes home, I plan to ask him to make me one".
Ruby was now very excited to one day meet the man that created the wonderous mechanical arms.
…
Achoo!
Jaune sneezed.
"Huh?" said Jaune. He was confused. It wasn't cold. "Strange…Is someone thinking about me? I wonder if it is something good or something bad. I don't think it would be something bad, I haven't irked anyone as of late".
Jaune shook his head and went inside the 'tent'.
It was quite late, and he wanted to have dinner.
Jaune has never had to buy ingredients in a long time since he started using AoE. It was quite easy for him to conjure meat, fruits, vegetables, and other things he may need. They are all non-living things, even if the meat was from something that was once alive.
What to cook?
What to cook?
What to cook?
Those were the things on Jaune's mind. He wanted to eat something new.
Thus, he wanted to try a new recipe.
Jaune got a bit carried away when he started cooking.
For appetisers, Jaune made Sweet Potato Crostini with Prosciutto Honey Roasted Figs.
For the main course, Roast Beef in Honey, Enchilada Casserole, Baked Spaghetti, Jambalaya, Pot Roast, Ratatouille With Sausage, Salmon en Papillote, Five Spice Chicken, Quesadilla with Jalapeño Ranch, Mango Chutney Chicken
Dessert, Jaune made Pecan chocolate bread and butter pudding, Chocolate Mousse with Cherry Ripe Truffles, Coconut Yoghurt Cake, Pecan Baklava Rolls, Melt-and-mix White Chocolate and Ginger Mud Cake, Baked Ricotta Cake, Molten Cookie Dough Cupcakes, Cookie Dough Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Shortbread, Macaroon Cookies and Biscotti Cookies.
All this is for Jaune only. He isn't normal by any means. The amount of food he cooked can feed a dozen people or more.
All Scáthach asked for was a Spatchcock BBQ Chicken and a fruit cake. Still, not an amount someone who has a slender figure would eat, but it is far more reasonable than the one Jaune made for himself.
…
Ruby was drooling. All the cookies. She then turned to Saphron and Terra. They already knew what she wanted.
"We'll see what we can do," said Terra. Getting Jaune to make something for someone like Ruby is easy, but that is if he was here. "No guarantees".
Ruby nodded. She fantasised about all the desserts she saw Jaune make. She couldn't stop drooling!
"Hey, Saph," said Terra. She then pointed at Ruby. "Do you think if I have a child with Jaune it would be as cute as Ruby?".
"No, I believe it would be cuter!" said Saphron. If she or Terra had a child with Jaune, there will be no child that would be as cute as theirs. "They shall be the cutest!".
Terra laughed at Saphron's antics. Still, she hoped one day to have Jaune's child. Preferably in the near future.
"Say, Saph," said Terra. "Do you still wish to continue the dream we shared before?".
"Hmm? Do you mean our dream of opening a café?" asked Saphron. Terra nodded at her. "Of course! Even if Jaune is now our boyfriend, our plan still hasn't changed, merely its location. I know we talked about opening the café in Argus, but since Jaune plans to go to Beacon, I think it would be quite appropriate to open one in Vale instead. What do you think?".
"The location doesn't matter," said Terra. It has never been the focus. "All that matters is I am doing it with you and Jaune. Everything else is secondary".
In the kitchen, Tai, Amarilla, Giallo and Qrow were conversing.
"By the way, where is your son?" asked Tai. He heard about the Arcs having a son, but only the girls came with him. "I remember Giallo messaging me that you guys gave birth to a son".
"Jaune is his name," said Amarilla. She sighed. "He couldn't come as he is busy with his book".
"An author?" said Tai. "That's not a bad profession".
"I thought your son wanted to be a Huntsman?" asked Qrow. He remembered Giallo asking for a way to convince his son to look for a profession elsewhere. "What happened to that?".
"Things didn't go well," said Giallo. He sighed. He still remembers that day vividly. The day Jaune had a very high fever that should have killed a grown man. "I trained him for a week, but his body was not able to hold up, so we had to rush him to the hospital. After that, we spoke to him and explained that we wouldn't be able to train him due to his health".
"That's quite unfortunate," said Qrow. "How did he take it? I assume that he would have thrown a temper tantrum".
"That's the thing, he didn't," said Amarilla. It was confusing to her as well. "He accepted that he couldn't be trained to be a Huntsman".
"Huh? He accepted it just like that?" asked Tai. That was not right. There was no way someone would accept their dream being shattered quite readily, even if it was a child. "He seemed to have accepted it all too easily if you ask me".
"We thought that too, but in the last five years, he hasn't shown any sign of training," said Giallo. He monitored Jaune closely for the first year which gradually lessen in the later years. "Instead, he used his time to help his sisters in many different things such as music, dancing, cooking, analysis, creative arts, and recently, due to Olive taking an interest, Jaune has taken up Botany".
"Holy crap! That's a lot of things to take up," said Qrow. "Can't imagine doing the same. I mean, so many different things, is he any good?".
"The best!" said Amarilla. Even she couldn't believe that Jaune was able to master the things his sisters have taken an interest in. All because he wanted to be able to help them when they ask for help. "It was shocking even for us to know that he outperforms even his older siblings in their interest. I still laugh when Ivory drags Jaune to her room to play Remnant: The Game".
"Really?!" said Qrow. That was quite a feat. If he remembers correctly, Ivory had a game with Ozpin, and she was able to beat him quite recently. "For your son to beat Ivory must mean he is an immensely talented tactician".
"Do you know Ozpin's defeat?" asked Giallo. "It was thanks to Jaune that Ivory was able to outperform Ozpin. If it is the truth, Ivory once mentioned that she would rather play a game with Ozpin rather than Jaune".
"Damn. Now I want to see how easily your son beats Ozpin. The face that man would make would be amazing," said Qrow. It is hard to get a reaction out of Ozpin. "Say, when can I meet your son and introduce him to Ozpin so he can kick his ass in chess?".
"Not anytime soon," said Amarilla. She shook her head. "You know that we live outside the four kingdoms and coming here by bullhead is not easy. There isn't much schedule and tickets are expensive".
"True," said Tai. He knew how expensive tickets are for bullhead going outside the four kingdoms. It is understandable since they would trek a path that has not been cleared by Huntsman and Huntresses. "Why not move here to Patch? I know the atmosphere is similar to your home".
"We thought about it, but when we had Jaune, it was quite weird," said Amarilla. She wouldn't forget that day. "When Jaune was born, people said that an Aurora appeared in the sky".
"Okay…?" said Tai and Qrow. They were confused. Qrow then continued. "What does that have to do with you moving here?".
"After the rumours of the Aurora, the Grimm in the vicinity of Domremy became non-existent," said Amarilla. She heard the talk in town about Grimm just disappearing. One even said that Grimm fear the town. "Now do you understand why we chose to stay?".
Tai and Qrow then nodded in understanding.
"However, recently," said Giallo. Qrow and Tai were listening intently. "The Grimm have returned. So, us meeting you guys were one of the reasons why we came to Patch. The other is to look for a place to live".
"That's great!" said Tai. It would be great to have a bro around that is not Qrow. Half the time…most of the time, Qrow is drunk off his ass. He loves the guy, but it is hard to interact with the drunk. "Plus, Ruby will have people interact that are close to her age. Maybe they can help her with her social interaction".
"She has social issues?" asked Amarilla. She saw that Ruby was doing quite well interacting with Saphron and Terra. No sign of being socially awkward. "Are you sure she has an issue?".
"Yeah! Ruby has been having a hard time making friends," said Tai. He is a teacher at Signal. So, he knows what is going on with Yang and Ruby at school. "I think it has to do with her obsession with weapons. I think the students in Signal find it weird".
"Well, you are in luck!" said Giallo. He laughed. "If there is anyone that might be able to help her, it is Jaune".
"Your son?" asked Tai. "How?".
"Jaune doesn't find anyone's interest weird. He might even encourage them to be better at it. As long as it brings no harm to others," said Giallo. "If she is interested in weapons, she might like some of the blueprints that Jaune made a while back. There are all theoretical, but if they were made in reality, they would be a game changer. One, in particular, I took a liking to. It is called the BFG, which stands for Bio-Force Gun. But I like its secondary name written down. Big Fucking Gun!".
"Damn! With a name like that, I want to see it," said Qrow. No way is something named the Big Fucking Gun a wimp weapon. He wondered what would happen if he showed it to Ironwood. Too bad it is a theoretical weapon. "How theoretical is it?".
"Very. I don't think it is possible to make with even every Dust in Remnant," said Giallo. He fantasises about using it, but he knew that it may not be possible. "Still, it can't hurt to dream of us weapon in hand".
Qrow and Giallo fantasised about the weapon after Qrow was shown its blueprint.
Tai and Amarilla shook their heads.
"Men!" said both Tai and Amarilla.
Amarilla looked at Tai with her eyebrows raised.
"What?" asked Tai. "I'll have you know that I am not interested in guns besides these guys!".
Tai should his muscles.
This caused Amarilla to shake her head.
