FlashBack

It had been a couple of hours since he left with Adalind & Juliette still couldn't believe it. How could he just up & leave with that calculating bitch. He's always so selfish is the only thing she could think of right now.

She felt like shit right now & he just left.

Hasn't even come back or anything. She thought she would cry but she never did. She was just angry & agitated to an extreme level right now.

The fact he agreed with Adalind on thinking she was useless too. He claims to deny it but she knows he meant it. Was she being irrational? Maybe so, but in her opinion, she deserves to. Juliette wasn't the type to tute her own horn but she thinks he should be grateful for the fact she manage to accept him & all of the flaws that came with him.

All of that baggage & boy was there a lot of it.

"I will" These Are the words he said to Adalind & they kept replaying in her mind. How could he actually willing just risk his life for that woman?! Juliette had to admit she was feeling bad for Adalind despite everything she had done. Well, she was feeling bad at the time but somehow the bitch pulled off another screw job again.

It just enraged Juliette more to know Adalind didn't even have to do much, Nick just went along with her because he 'had to.' She couldn't help but mock his words.

She walked from the couch into the kitchen to pour out her wine glass, she honestly didn't care for drinking right now. She wanted to hit something or somebody she felt like. Let her emotion out in some way but the house has seen enough damage done to it over the past few years. Hell, it endured some damage a few days ago because of Adalind's creepy kid.

Well isn't that something? She thought to herself. Adalind who has raised hell in her life ever since Nick met her, now has a child who already raised a little just upon her first few days of being on this earth.

Apple truly doesn't fall far from the tree.

But now all she could think right now was here she was again, alone & feeling useless.

In some ways, she blames Nick for this. If he ever just thought about her for once & stop being so self-involved with his Grimm stuff. Then maybe, just maybe he would allow her to show him why how they were was so much better before all the craziness.

No way he could like being a Grimm, he probably just accepted it since it was a curse he was born with. She almost began to feel bad for him but she was too freshly angry right now.

He really left her to go help that woman save her child that is clearly gone & that same woman who constantly was a thorn in his & her side.

Besides Juliette did have a hard time believing anything of Adalind's could be as important as Nick's mother was making it seem. She had an even harder time fathoming how Nick left to go risk his life for Adalind either so maybe it is possible.

Nick could die, Adalind's child was taken & the child itself is being snatched back in forth between countries & continents like a shipment. Despite all of that though, Juliette felt like she was the one who was really going through the most. She has been putting up with all of this insaneness before she even knew about it.

Was this way of thinking self-centered or self-absorbed? Probably.

But once again, Juliette felt like she has earned that right. Do you know why?

Because "How could he just leave?!" She shouted out loud. Being more upset that no one was there to hear or listen to her rants. She always had to keep so much bottled up just for his sake.

She had the idea to go over to Rosalee & Monroe's to vent. But then she remembered that they all be there. All...

She couldn't believe they were just welcoming that blonde bitch with open arms. Juliette just wanted to be nice to her for the kid & it gave a moment of weakness in her rage-filled heart toward Adalind.

But once again, she couldn't be too mad at them. They were just nice people & have helped Nick so much in his Grimm life that they just fit so perfectly in.

"Wish I could relate." She said to her thoughts scornfully.

She walked over & was going to just shower & head to bed when she caught sight of the paint that was put over the wall a year ago. The memory flashed in her head from the night that it happened as she stood on the stairwell.

Back when Nick's Grimm life affected her by having her obsessed with Renard. She remembers how swollen her lips were from the brutal kisses they were exchanging, the way her hair was bunched up in his hand.

The weird feeling of knowing it was completely wrong & made no sense but the intensity was lustful. Lustful to feel at the time & lustful to think about right now. The franticness of it all was sickly intoxicating.

It was like he was kissing her because he couldn't be separated from her. Like he needed her with him. Ravaging her mouth because he had been from her too long. She now knows it was because of how he had to cure her now but still. It was strangely nice. Even nicer now to think about when you look past all of the variables that caused it to happen.

Then it got out of hand when she shot the gun all over the place to gain some type of distance. Which lead to the repainting of the walls like she was seeing now.

She then started thinking about some of the other things Nick filled her in on.

How Adalind tried to kill his aunt after orders given by Renard. How she poisoned Hank to fall in love with her & be obsessed with her because Renard wanted her too.

How she is the reason why she ended up in a coma because of resentment towards Nick who took her powers to stop her from hurting Hank because of Renard. How even now, he is the father of the child with Adalind, who Nick has left her alone to go help the witch.

Somehow or someway, this always lead back to Renard & it began irking her soul because of it. If he just left Nick alone, she wouldn't have to put up with all of this shit.

She stomped back down the stairs, snatched her coat & shoved it on while she grabbed her keys from the nightstand by the door. This was all Sean's fault! She be happy & at peace with Nick if he wasn't a Grimm sure. But even with him being a Grimm, it could be easier than it is right now if it wasn't for Renard & his bullshit.

Well, him being a Grimm will never be easy for her & he honestly doesn't deserve her or the patience she has shown in her somewhat honest opinion but that didn't change the fact that it wouldn't even have to be that way if it wasn't for Renard.

Her mind was feeling ego high & wounded with countless thoughts & frustrations. But her body was feeling Dangerous. While her heart was feeling hurt & somewhat vengeful. So one of those issues had to be cleansed & she was going to make sure Renard was one of the reasons for it. Maybe if she hit him or punched him a couple of times she feel better.

Anything at this point.

The drive felt forever. It was both good & bad for her. It gave her time to decide her course of action but also was taking forever & her nerve was beginning to loosen. Whatever she was about to do was a mistake she knew it. Her conscience knows it was a mistake but she needed to hurry up before her conscience finally won & told her to stop.

She had to rub her eyes quickly to stop tears from flowing. This was no time for cries, this was time for action.

She almost wished she didn't wipe her eyes though because for a moment she thought a car that looked like Nick's had passed but she didn't get a good glimpse enough. It for sure couldn't be though, he was at Monroe & Rosalee's with the whore.

She couldn't help but look back though.

She gave a quick peek, back & still didn't get a good look because it was already turning to another street in the distance. She looked forward & almost drove into a clothing store, swerving to the right as hard as she could & she just knows she probably left tired marks on the road because that screeching was loud.

She managed not to smack into a wall though. She took a breath and just stayed there for a moment. Contemplating if this was a warning sign that she was about to fuck up in a massive way.

She shook her shoulders as if she was shaking off the feeling. Renard needed to be slapped, punched, kicked, whatever she could think of. Something lustfully violent.

Present Time

"Juliette." Nick's body movements stilled as he uttered the name. He felt some anger grow inside of him. He raised his head slowly to look Renard dead in his eyes.

"What?" He asked menacingly almost, Tension growing in him.

Sean kept the same blank but firm look on his face. "Juliette."

Nick laughed a little at the gall of him. This was low even for him. "Your lying." Nick spoke through his laugh. "I never told or even had a chance to tell Juliette the plan." Nick shook his head at him. "Do better Sean."

"She didn't need to know it, all she knew was she had a hurt heart." Nick squinted his eyes at him. "What the hell does that mean?" Nick had way more seriousness in his tone this time. Standing up to meet him face to face now.

Renard kept looking at him like he was trying to navigate how he was going to approach this. "It was after I woke up from your mother's little visit. Guess you came along after she knocked me out since that's my suit."

"What did you do to Juliette?" Nick said darkly.

"I didn't do anything. Well, at least not anything she didn't want to do."

"You better start clarifying." Nick warned.

Renard let out a sigh but retain that blank stare. "You're not going to like it."

"Talk" Nick could already feel a dark rage beginning its ascension inside him, but he would wait.

"Alright...Guess I should start from the moment your delightful mother paid me a visit." Renard said, using the word delightful mockingly.

Renard couldn't believe the day was finally over.

Felt like the past couple of days were everlasting & the nights were ever-haunting. Something new was always happening these days & it hasn't been much good. He walked toward his apartment door now, thinking about how just previously a night or two ago Adalind came over with their daughter in her hands. Asking for help.

What's new?

H never could truly say he cared for Adalind strongly but he did have a liking for her when she proved herself to be useful. She always could make a situation work out in her favor & that's why he would call on her to do some dirty work.

But now she is the mother of his kid.

For some reason, he feels more of an incentive to protect her now.

So when Viktor came to Portland to threaten him, Adalind & his mother, he usually would only care about two people in that equation but he had to add Adalind to it now. Not to say he wouldn't dispose of her if he had to because his liking for her hadn't increased that much.

It was either give up Diana & fight another day or not give her up & fight every day until he finally lost the fight with the Royals.

What other choice did he have? He had to give her away.

At least this way they have a chance to get her back one day down the line. Adalind hopefully sees it that way. She should appreciate the fact he gave her another chance to keep on living, even if that meant the sacrifice of their daughter to do so.

It sounds cold-hearted & wrong but that's just how things had to be sometimes he mused to himself.

It sure did hurt though. Handing her over.

He opened the door to his place & closed it. Taking off his trench coat & throwing it on the couch. Taking off his gun along with the holster to set it on the table in front of the couch. Stepping to look out the window at his view.

His phone ranged & he felt an annoyance generate in his whole body. If that was more trouble he swears...

He debated on if he wanted to even take it or not.

But then he realized he had to. The current situation with his family, Adalind, & even Nick made it where he would have to. Not to mention he is a police captain. He pulled it out of his pocket & saw the contact name read Sgt. Wu & that meant it must be a case update then.

He wishes it was nothing but at least it had nothing to do with his personal issues right now.

He accepted the call & took a tired moment before speaking. "Sergeant?"

"Sorry to bother you sir, I can call you tomorrow if you like." Wu sounded tired himself.

"What is it, Sergeant?" Renard asked shortly.

"Well, just thought you like to know that the suspect in the Katherine Schade case was released a little while ago."

Renard took a wary pause. "Thanks for telling me." Renard hung up immediately even though he heard Wu was still speaking before he did. He had a feeling that Nick's mother would soon be on her way to 'greet' him.

Maybe he could hurry up & leave before she showed up. He turned around to pick up his gun & coat to leave but he already saw a woman in his place.

"Going somewhere?" She asked him but it was clearly a threat.

Renard stood his ground as he stared ahead. "Not anymore." He peeked over to the table to see where his gun was & how far he truly was from it but he didn't catch sight of it.

"Looking for this?" She asked rhetorically. Holding up his gun that she pulled out of one of her pockets from her own all-black trench coat. Her words caused Renard's eyes to snap back from the table to her hand holding his weapon.

She threw it to the side, never breaking her confident scowl from glaring at him.

"Guess you figured out who called the police on you." Renard said dryly.

"Something like that." Renard could see the hostility building up & he did not like the idea of fighting a well-traveled & well-experienced Grimm. He would if he had to though & it appears that decision won't be up to him. "Not why I'm here, even though it's going to make me feel better." She said.

"Why are you here?"

She didn't respond with words but ran onto the table in front of his couch to lunge at him with a flying knee. The knee caught him by surprise as it crashed into his chin & mouth, sending him stumbling back into his window, causing a slight crack.

He put his hand on his mouth to nurse it but had little time as he had to dodge a roundhouse kick she was already aiming at his skull. He felt his back hit the wall as he dodged it.

Kelly tried to punch him but he moved his head to the right, kicking her in the gut now next.

She stumbled back as he walked forward to aggressively grab her but she slapped away both of his arms, jabbing him in the stomach then kneeing him in the face as he hunched over.

She delivered a quick but strong kick to his right calf, causing Renard to stagger in that direction in pain but throwing a very violent but off-balance slow haymaker at her.

Kelly easily anticipated it as she step to the side & pushed him in the direction his momentum took him. Now behind him, she stomp down on the back of his left knee, causing him to fall hard on it.

He grunted in even more pain but took advantage of the position as he felt her come close. Slamming his head backwards into hers, he felt satisfaction at the painful sudden grunt that escaped her.

He acted quickly though, turning around to catch a fist she threw with his right hand, then throwing a left cross that connected with her jaw.

He attempted one with his right as he released her hand but she dodged to the left then delivered a very well-aimed headbutt to his nose & he staggered once again.

Kelly felt anger bubble up at that punch he connected with earlier so she up the aggression. Dodging a weak punch he threw then headbutted him once again. She followed that up with a hard right punch to his ribs causing him to hunch down. She delivered a quick left uppercut to his chin to make him stand back up.

Jabbing his throat with her index & middle finger knuckles. He choked up & grabbed for his neck but Kelly was already delivering a very stiff & violent spinning elbow that crashed into the side of his head.

She used that momentum to spin in the opposite direction & roundhouse kick him with the heel of her boot into the other side of his head causing Renard to go flying over his couch & smacking the floor with a thud.

Kelly took a breath, flipping the hair out of her face. "Even for a half Zauberbiest, this is disappointing." Kelly taunted. Renard took a few moments & a little longer than he would like to have but manage to stand up.

Breathing hard & face trembling with anger. "Since you mentioned it." He said & then whipped his head into his Woge Zauberbiest face. Kelly attempted to jump on the couch & do another flying knee but he palm struck her with force in the chest as she was in mid-air. Sending her flying back from the spot she took off from.

He quickly & aggressively walked around the couch & grabbed her up by the neck & threw her into the wall, creating a cave into the wall. Kelly went to move forward but his hand wrapped around her throat & he shoved her back into it, making the cave into a hole now.

He was choking her now & Kelly was struggling for air. She sent a right hook at his face but he didn't stumble this time. His face just turned slightly from the impact but his human eye flared in more rage.

He then choked her harder & slid her up higher against the wall as he began to lift her. He didn't stop there though as he flung her all the way over to the table she previously jumped off of earlier. She crashed right through it & that time Kelly mentally had to admit. That one kind of hurt.

She heard a short growling noise so he must have shifted back to his normal face. He walked over slowly now & Kelly realized that's that Royal in him because if he was smart he would have kept up the attack but arrogance is embedded in all of them even if you are an outside member of the family.

She took the time to roll over & get on all fours before she got to one knee. She saw one of the wood planks from her smacking through the table & made it appear as though she was done fighting. She could feel the arrogance rising in every next step he took. She waited until he was in front of her.

"You done?" He chided mockingly.

She let out a huff. Then grabbed the wooden piece & spun as hard as she possibly could & bashed it into his skull. He fell back hard, stumbling into his kitchen. He looked woozy-eyed like he was seeing two of her.

He still was stumbling but came to a halt when he bumped into his counter. This time Kelly walked with a confident strut to him. He threw a punch that was hard, but lazy & wild as he was still stymied by the wood plank shot. She was mad about being thrown through the table though & used that with her next action as she grabbed ahold of his forearm of the arm he used to punch & pulled him toward her then slammed his head as violently as she could against the edge of the counter & he crumpled on to the floor.

He still wasn't knocked out but he felt his eyes glazing over & the image of everything beginning to blur. He manage to catch enough of the image of Kelly though & she was standing over him.

"Yeah. I'm done." She said as she then finished him off by kicking his head as if she was kicking a soccer ball.

Renard stared at Nick, trying to gauge his reaction but his face hadn't budged much. "Guess I know why she was actually there now though," Renard said, looking over Nick at the suit he was wearing & the fact he was a mirror image of him right now. "I take it she got everything she needed." He added after his look over of him.

Nick ignored him mostly though, he already knew most of that from when his mother told him about how she obtained the hair & suit from Renard in the most "suitable way that he deserved" according to his mother's words & judging by the blood specs she had & some light bruising on her face. He knew it went violently but he knew that would happen before she even went. "Keep going." Nick said coldly. Refocusing on this lie Renard was coming up with about Juliette.

It did bother Nick that he wasn't fully confident in him lying about it though. But he had to be...right?

Renard could feel his eyes start to peer open & felt his consciousness regaining as he began to stir awake after being incapacitated. He winced out in pain as a sharp pain struck his skull, gaining consciousness unfortunately began exemplifying the slight pains he just endured from the 'scuffle' with Nick's mother.

He also felt this weird feeling around the top of his scalp like somebody ripped at his hair. Must have been the kick or something he chalked it up to.

He wanted to shake his head a little to try & shake off the cloudy feeling his brain felt but that just felt like it would make it worse so he thought better of it. Managing to sit up at least.

He looked over & saw a diaper sticking out of the trash.

That made him forget about his physical pain & remember his emotional distress. He hopes he made the right decision by giving her up but it was either that or die along with his mother.

In the end, he did what was best for everybody in his opinion.

Probably be in his best interest to make sure she stays with the Royals for a while too. They already don't trust him & he knows they rather him dead even though they claim that is no longer the case. He rather them dead as well, but he was in no position to make that happen right now.

Just play along until an opportunity arises to take Diana back.

Now that may be years from now possibly but what was he supposed to do? Adalind was angry at him & he understood it but at least he gave her a chance to have her down the line.

Sometimes to protect the ones you love, you have to let them go. Maybe she'll understand that one day but as long as no Royals were knocking on his doorstep anytime soon he be fine. Yet he still couldn't shake the terrible feeling of not being able to father Diana.

He noted to himself how he kind of liked the name Adalind came up with.

He needed to get some actual sleep now, not the 'sleep' he got just now from being knocked out either but actual rest. He was already done with this day & this night just wouldn't stop lasting.

He looked around at his messed up place from the fight & just let out a tired puff at it all, dipping his head down while rubbing his hands through his hair.

He finally was good enough to stand up & as soon as he did he heard a knock on his door. "This can't be happening." He turned & looked at the door like it was a daunting task to accomplish to open it. It was bound to be more trouble.

He was trying to chalk it up in his head who it could be. The knocking came again but more persistent.

Maybe Adalind? Here to threaten him again. Nick's mother? Most likely not, she let herself in last time.

The knocking became even louder now up to a point of almost beating on the door but he still didn't move an inch.

Maybe it was Nick upset about his mother?

Now the beating on the door was causing his wall to shake slightly so then he assumed it had to be Adalind. Who else would be this pissed at him even if it was Nick?

"You better open this goddamn door Sean!" the voice bellowed angrily, bashing her fist against the door even harder.

Okay, maybe not Adalind. "Juliette?" He said more quietly to himself but now his interest was peaked. He walked over & opened the door & as soon as he did he was met with a red face Juliette, angry about something.

Before he could even speak she smacked him in his face. Not even an open palm slap, but a backhand. He would have been annoyed slightly but let it go usually but she hit him on the side of his face where Kelly bashed a wood plank into so he hissed out in pain than anger.

"What the hell is your problem?!" He bit back at her, rubbing the spot where she hit him.

She shook more. "This is all your damn fault!" She somewhat yelled but with more of a harsh tongue.

"What are you talking about?" He still was heavily irritated.

"He wouldn't have gone to save that damn kid with that witch if you didn't give your daughter up!" She roared at him, she attempted to smack him once again but he caught her by her wrist.

"What? Nick went after Diana?"

"Who the hell is Diana?!" She said in disgust.

"My daughter."

She didn't say anything but kept that angered look on her face but Renard's mind was churning at that news. He couldn't let Nick do that, the Royals already were barely on his side as it is. He doubts they'll believe he had nothing to do with it even though he doesn't. They'll kill him, his mother, Nick & Adalind.

"Dammit, I had this under control!" He hissed to himself. Ignoring her at the door but walking in to make a call to Viktor to set the record straight. Juliette walked in & saw the damage done to his place. She still felt angry but then intrigue overcame her.

"What happened here?"

"He began trying to search for his phone in some of the mess. "Nick's mother decided to pay me a visit." He said as he lifted a pillow. "Where the hell is my phone!" He spat out, still searching profusely.

She then noticed the slight bruising on his face now. "That what happened to your face?" She really didn't care or was concerned at all but she just wanted to know.

"Up until an unreasonable woman just slapped me at my door, yes." He said rudely, never looking at her though as he continued to search. Juliette could see how wound up & pissed he was & she couldn't help but feel the same even though it was his fault.

She then thought of a way for them both to unwind. Especially since she was feeling betrayed & abandoned right now.

"Finally." She heard him say as he pulled his phone out from behind a smashed table piece.

He was beginning to type but Juliette put her hand on his abruptly but tenderly. Slowly lowering it down. "What are you doing." He eyed her suspiciously.

"I think we should finish what that potion made us start." She said as she began drawing her finger down his chest, fiddling with the top button of his shirt. He still eyed her finger suspiciously but she could see his restraint lessening.

"I don't think that's a good idea."

She got closer into his space & Renard had such a rough day that when she touched him, the blink of his eyes lingered closed for a moment in affection of her closeness. She undid his top button, then the third button since the second one was no longer there from the fight he was just in.

She became more sensual now with her touch. "Why?" She said in a seductive almost whisper. Rubbing her hands down his chest until she got to the hem of his shirt & pulled the rest out that was tucked in his pants. Looking back up at him now & Renard could see no other feeling other than Lust & maybe vengeance.

Or was that retaliation he was seeing? "As I recall, you're dating Burkhardt." He may have still been 'resisting' but his voice had no more conviction in it. She began undoing the rest of the buttons on his shirt.

"And he left me alone, with this need to unwind." She opened up his shirt & now she could see the tanktop under it. She stood on her toes a little & placed a feathery touch kiss on his neck. Letting her lips arouse him more as her breath made his skin tingle in pleasure. He didn't want to but he closed his eyes once more.

She then placed a similar kiss on his jaw. Kissing down feathery until she got to a bruise around his chin. "And I think you need to too." The sultriness coming out of her voice now as she put her hand's softy on his face to turn it away from her so she could really assault his neck with temptation. She looked down & could see his arousal so she knew she was getting her way.

Take that Adalind! I can manipulate too. She thought for a moment but refocused.

She kissed his cheek next. Then crept up slowly to around his ear. "So..." She whispered tenderly. Pulling on his ear gently with her lips. Now lowering her toes as she allowed him to be face to face with her, his eyelids finally opening & she could see the want in them. She eyed his lips & licked hers. Leaning in & inching close while he closed his eyes once more to prepare for a kiss.

As she got to his lips, she allowed her to brush his. Leaning back out slightly now. "What will it be?" She asked temptingly. He kept his eyes close but didn't say a word still. Nodding his head slowly, letting her know yes he was down with that.

She didn't kiss him but then grabbed his hand with her right. "Bedroom that way?" She asked.

"Yes." He said as he allowed her to lead him to his own bedroom. Walking him there by his hand.

Juliette felt her eyes begin to open.

She knew it must have been early morning because she could feel sunlight on her face peering through the window. She stirred a little, realizing her leg was hanging off of the bed & the sheets she was under she wasn't used to.

It started confusing her until a dreaded thought popped into her mind.

"oh my god you didn't' She said to herself. No way she was drunk on anger & vengeance to go that far would she? She wishes she was actually drunk last night now so it be some sort of excuse for it. This was bad...really bad. She still hoped maybe it was just an odd dream & that she hadn't been that idiotic & caught up in her emotions.

She didn't want to fully open her eyes now. If she kept them semi-open like they were now, she wouldn't know if the figure she feels sleeping beside her is Renard or hopefully Nick. Even though she knows he's not there so that's not helping settle her.

But maybe he came back & didn't want to wake her, so he just fell asleep beside her. That totally could be possible she started telling herself.

Why can't she open her eyes & look over then?

She did feel like she had every reason to be upset but she told herself in the car to hurry up before she realized she was making a big mistake. Jesus, why couldn't something truly stop her before she made it here?

Would anything have even stopped her?

Was there something really that dark in her to stoop to this?

She felt like a slut & a moron. Thanks a lot for leaving Nick! It technically was his fault she told herself. If he didn't leave, she would have never done this or felt the weird need to last night.

Thanks a lot as well Sean! If he hadn't given his daughter away in the first place, Nick doesn't abandon her to go save it.

She knows the decision to ultimately do this was on her but still, it didn't have to happen she thought to herself. With that being said though, she wasn't even sure if she should be having this conversation with herself. For all she knows, she is right about Nick just coming back & laying down beside her & she will have nothing to worry about.

She still wasn't brave enough to look over yet.

She sat up but closed her eyes completely. It lessened her confidence in the fact that it didn't smell like her bed, the floor didn't feel like the one she is used too & the denial she is living in won't subside but increase with each passing second.

She kept her eyes closed & turned around to face the direction Nick or Renard will be laying. She finally took a breath & opened her eyes.

It was Renard, sleeping soundly, all the way naked under the covers.

She just stared at his form for a moment. Realizing her fears are now a reality.

She kept staring a little longer before she buried her head into her hands in shame. You really screwed this one up Juliette she chided herself. Literally & figuratively.

The only good thing she had going for her was the fact Renard probably was never going to say anything & she hopes guilt doesn't eat away at her conscious every time she looks Nick in those wonderful eyes of his.

She couldn't imagine him looking at her with disdain, anger, or worst. Pain.

She caused that look enough when she couldn't remember him, albeit he deserved some of it since his Grimm life put her in that position but still.

She fought back her tears though, no crying, she knew she needed & wanted to get the fuck out of there now.

Sean woke up with searing head pain in his skull. Didn't take him long to remember what happened last night with Nick's mother. Also gave him a heavy heart because the memory of handing Diana over to Viktor went back into his mind now as well.

Then the other memory of what happened last night came to him as well. He slept with Juliette.

He moved his hand over to the side she should be on but he didn't feel anybody there at all. He opened his eyes to see the spot was vacant. He leaned over to look at the floor on the side she was on & her clothes were gone too.

Looks like she did an old fashion sneak out then walk of shame he mused to himself.

Time to call Viktor though & see if he can stay in his good graces for now. He may be able to swindle this Nick situation into a deal for himself. He did however think about how his mother went through so much hell for him to live & how much she means to him.

Could he take that from Diana so easily?

As much as he rather not risk it, he may be able to spin this so he & Adalind could come away from this. He got up & grabbed his phone, already making the call.

"Then it took some convincing" Renard took a short breath. "But I manage to work out something for Adalind & myself." He stopped speaking but was being very cautious with Nick. He was sure he was going to attack him eventually for sleeping with Juliette.

Nick's face had this blank expression on it though.

"I don't believe you." Nick said simply, but the menacing background to his tone would suggest differently

"Look I don't why she truly did it but she did. You'll have to ask her yourself...well, I guess you can't now." Renard said, giving him a knowing look about Nick's current situation.

"She wouldn't do that." Nick's sentences were short, he didn't have a lot to say to this bullshit. Because it was lies...had to be. He turned away from him now.

"I guess you don't know her as well as you think you do Nick." For some reason, those words finally sent a trigger into the already boiling point of hot rage that was building up like a geyser in Nick. He felt his fist clench by his side & he spun around to deliver a crushing blow to Sean's face.

The only problem was, the crushing blow didn't come from him, it came from within him. He felt himself get pushed back into the wall with a giant thud as if someone of incredible strength punched him in the gut with titanium brass knuckles.

He felt the whole inside of him feel like it was being pulled apart but shrunk in at the same time. Then he realized, he must be changing back into himself. Thank god.

But then the pain just subsided out of nowhere, like it was cut off from finishing.

He laid on the ground breathing & gasping hard to regain his breath but he didn't feel right. He didn't feel like himself.

He looked down at his hands to see they were still the same tone as Renard's. He saw his legs were still longer & he felt his face, he was still Sean. But how? That didn't make any sense at all whatsoever.

Adalind said to take three puffs from the hat because any more than that he be stuck as Renard forever. He only took three & she watched him take three so what the hell was going on?

"Was that you supposed to change back?" He heard Renard ask but he didn't pay it any mind. He was getting worried about what this could mean, what if he somehow was stuck looking like this jackass?!

Was it because he was a Grimm? Adalind did say that she had no idea how this would work on him since he was a Grimm.

"I'm going to go have Viktor bring Adalind down here. Since you two created this mess." Renard said snidely. Nick glared at him as he walked away but he was going to be having his own questions for Adalind. Because if she knew something like this was possible, he was going to be pissed in a very unbelievable way at her.

He doubts she knew it could be this bad though but still.

Renard walked into Viktor's office, who sat at his usual spot at the head of the table, drinking whatever alcohol he had in his glass like usual. "You know, it be nice not to constantly see your face."

"Something we agree on." Renard replied "Look, we have a problem."

Viktor sipped from his glass but the seriousness on his face grew. "What?"

AN: I know I've already said I never really like Juliette but I'm writing her character more of how I viewed her when she turned evil in the show. In my opinion, she pointed the finger at everybody else & always refuse to take responsibility until she became Eve then Eve took responsibility in a way but never Juliette her true self.

I didn't like her for many more reasons besides this but this became one of my biggest later on.

Sorry for this chapter not having Nick & Adalind in it together or much of either of them at all! Especially with a chapter dominated by Juliette! Yuck.

Thank you for all of the reviews during my short hiatus by the way!
