CHAPTER 132
Hana dropped into the hole, and went back to normal. Percival gave her a disgruntled look as he dropped roughly to his feet.
"I still find it very uncomfortable you know. Isn't there a way t-"
"No there isn't."
Percival wrinkled his nose. "At least let me finish talking. But whatever. This isn't the time for that. Go ahead of me, and I'll intercept whatever's down there."
Hana nodded, transforming back into mist and floating ahead.
Percival unsheathed Howling Fjord, the blade extremely cold to the touch. He stared at it, as frost crawled along the silvery blue blade.
Some sort of wisp floated off, and circled around Percival. Then it spoke. "Percival. It is I, Lorkhan. We are finally able to speak once again. I must request that you let me handle this. The enemy ahead is very dangerous."
Percival stared for awhile, at the cold puff of smoke. "Alright. I trust you. Don't hurt my friends though."
Lorkhan shimmered, and then a ghostly form of him appeared. "I would never. Alright. Step back and let me handle this."
Percival stood still, as Lorkhan slowly melted into his body.
A minute passed, before Percival's eyes snapped open. But they were not green like normal. Instead, they were a cold pale white.
Lorkhan gazed at Howling Fjord. "Ready to fight alongside your old master once again?"
The katana vibrated, causing Lorkhan to smile. He proceeded to walk down the sloping path, reaching the bottom.
Murmad was there, a look of absolute fury on his face. "How dare you! I thought everything was smooth sailing! But then your loyal asses had to come and screw everything up! Just forget about Tsukumo! He's not important! None of you are!"
Lorkhan stared coldly at Murmad. "Are you done? Does it look like, I care about what you have to say? You have not only kidnapped my friends, you have hurt them quite badly. I can smell Tsukumo's blood on you. Not only that, you have the gall to experiment on children. You are a very sick man. Both in your head and soul."
Murmad frowned, a look of confusion of his face. "You're not…Percival. Who are you?"
Lorkhan raised Howling Fjord, tilting the blade. "Who I am does not matter to the likes of you. Draw your weapon, or I shall end you now."
Murmad glared ominously at Lorkhan. He flicked his wrist, and two streams of holographic light flew from his hands, before transforming into two silver swords.
"No matter who you are, you're still a Vampire. This will end quickly."
Lorkhan chuckled. "You are a very naive man. The more powerful a Vampire, the less weaknesses he has. We'll see weather or not your silver works on me. En Garde!"
Lorkhan watched with amusement as Murmad rushed forwards, the two silver blades raised threateningly. However, just before they reached him, Lorkhan swung Howling Fjord in an arc, and a huge wall of ice circled around him before the ice, a large round sheet of ice, slammed into Murmad and drove him back.
Murmad got to his feet, looking frustrated. "I thought this was supposed to be a sword fight. Why are you using magic?"
Lorkhan blinked. "I am using my katana. The magic is in the katana. Howling Fjord is still appropriate for this fight."
Murmad grumbled under his breath, standing up and rushing at Lorkhan again. But yet again, he was pushed back by a wall of ice.
Since the power of Howling Fjord was heightened by the spirit of Lorkhan, the room was slowly being covered in frost.
Lorkhan wasn't too concerned though. Nor was he concerned about Murmad. Even Percival could fight this pathetic man. Murmad was so flustered he wasn't using the full potential of his powers.
No, Lorkhan was worried about the pulse of ancient power coming from another direction. 'This power, feels familiar somehow. It feels like Tsukumo…but more ancient. It sort of feels, sad somehow.'
Clang
Lorkhan raised Howling Fjord in a timely fashion, intercepting Murmad's sneak attack while he was pondering.
Lorkhan gazed down at Murmad with a look of pity. "How far thy has fallen. If only you were more respectable, I would have loved to bring you to your senses. But alas, you are nothing more than a stain upon this world. I, will take the liberty of washing it out."
Murmad jumped back, sensing the air grow colder, and colder, until his breaths formed in the air.
Lorkhan started glowing, his long silver hair waving wildly about. Ghostly armour covered his body, and an Oni mask covered his entire face.
"I shall have thee take this fight seriously, or you will find yourself with regrets in the next life."
Murmad took a step back, almost cowering at the immense power radiating off of the man who was clearly not Percival.
—-
A pair of eyes watched the fight, thin agile body crouched behind a corner wall.
SilverGrass watched curiously as Lorkhan revealed his true power.
'This Percival person is very interesting. To think he has such a powerful spirit guiding him. Maybe if he can kill Viscan, I can have proper katana training. I am rooting for you, Percival.'
—-
Lorkhan stared down at Murmad. "It is time, to answer for your crimes."
—-
The casket seals were starting to burn away, they could no longer hold back the raging aura coming off the woman inside.
Eyes snapped open, and sad but angry deep velvet red eyes stared out the glass casket. "T-Tsukumo. I, I wish to see you again."
She blinked, when an angelic form appeared in her vision. "You will soon. I promise."
The woman smiled. "It's a promise then. Please, help me get out of here."
"I will. Though, it seems you are doing most of the work. Welcome back to this reality, Lady Nightingale."
"It is a pleasure. Though I wish these were better circumstances. Let us escape with everyone together."
"Exactly my thoughts."

Present Time
Hana floated down the hallway, before crashing into something. "Argh!" She went back to normal, rubbing her eyes.
"What the hell…"
A familiar voice sounded. "Hana?! Is that you?"
"T-Tsukumo?!"
