Frankie Pov:
"I can't believe he said that! I mean it made sense it allowed Clawdeen to get the bone marrow as well have Nightmare run off in order to distract the headmistress even more. Still Junior shouldn't have said that, I mean it's true due to how he was being honest with me when I was doubting myself. Though the blushing part was new, it's never happened since I was never complemented like that. Still it shouldn't have been announced like that, it felt embarrassing. However it was done, I really just hope I don't have to do anything aggressive like that again. Or possibly hear what my friends have reminded about telling interesting facts when it was important from others who notice something about me."
Afternoon-Dorm room
Returning back from their classes along making sure to keep the ingredients for the spell to work. Draculaura by the side of her room was her mixing the right ingredients in a bowl while the others were either doing homework or looking after a injury. Which was Junior since the stomp from Frankie's shoe was still hurting.
"Damn Frankie, I mean good stomp. You sure you didn't get that foot from a football player?"
Both asking and praising how their foot had manage to continue in making Junior wince due to the tail injury they gave him. Frankie however did a small smile since it was still didn't felt right after what they did as well decided to look at their homework. Clawdeen doing the same noticed how the reanimated ghoul was acting and stared at Junior for what might he had done to have Frankie step on his tail.
"I told Frankie it wasn't that bad, and apologized for what I said. It was a quick call to make sure you got the bone marrow. The only one injured was me."
Stating how it was a quick decision which involved Frankie to stomp on his tail, as well gave Clawdeen enough time to get the bone marrow. However it still left Frankie still sadden about how they didn't expect to do something that aggressive to a friend.
"But it still wasn't right. Even if Kaiju customs have you always involve fights to solve problems, it doesn't mean you should ask others to do harm."
Frankie responding to Junior that while they accepted the apology and understood it was to give Clawdeen time, it still wasn't right. The first part however caught the wolf girl by surprise since it seemed Kaiju's had a thing for violence as well inflicting it on one another.
"Kaiju customs?"
She asked curious as Junior noticed how Clawdeen seemed to want to know about that part of how Kaiju's usual go to violent methods in handling problems. Seeing how it was important to know how his species acted since she planned on being here, it be safe to tell her several things about Kaiju that Frankie and Draculaura already know.
"Yes. Such as how if words or anything else can't be solved, Kaiju's resolve it in fighting. More or less prove how one is stronger than the other. One of the reasons my dad was king of the Kaiju, no one could beat him. Or survive the outcome."
Stating that Gojira showed his dominance and assertiveness to other Kaiju's was by fighting and making sure whoever doubted him knew better. From how Clawdeen pictured it, the idea was brutal along resulted in many beatings or worse. From the look on her face Draculaura would share that type of feeling that Kaiju's should find another means to resolve things, however it couldn't happen.
"I wouldn't stress on it Clawdeen. There some things that can't be change for certain people, not unless you use science and magic of course."
Expressing a fact in the best way possible to not make it sound crude as she continued to mix up the potion. Soon enough they heard a poof from the bowl which alerted the others as they got up to see what happen, so far it glow in a ominous manner which captivated them.
"Alright. So the first part is set, now all we need is the second part. Which is the real challenge."
The vampire girl stating that how unlike risking their lives in getting the bone from Headmistress mug to having Junior sacrificing his tail to get stomped by Frankie. This was where they had to get serious as they looked at several of the ingredients left for the potion to work. Junior who saw one of them merely gave Draculaura a questionable look seeing how there was one particular item that almost seemed impossible.
"Mayonnaise? Seriously? We literally have a guy who drinks that stuff like if it was water."
Junior informing them about that out of any monster or Kaiju that had mayonnaise, it was Tusk who had it since he was large and cold enough to withstand the taste. However obtaining from him could be a challenge since he would possible get curious about it. Other ingredients followed as Clawdeen noticed one that caught her eye during the listing.
"Gorgon venom and fairy dust? Seems on the nose since there aren't fairies in Monster High."
Seeing how while it would be easy to obtain gorgon venom due to one being here in the school, however the other seemed impossible since they didn't exactly see a small individual flying around with dust coming off them. Frankie was then able to remember a important detail to that last part as they brought out their Icoffin as well went threw several pics they took during the day.
"Not fairy, but divine moth."
Expressing a positive response as they looked at the photo which showed Frankie smiling with Mira, the moth Kaiju who seemed nervous taking a photo since it might have been her first time being with someone in a photo. They noticed on the screen how radiant she appeared despite being in her hoodie, meaning that Mira had the dust they required.
"Though actually its scales since most moths shrug off dust whenever they leave a bright area."
Stating that while it might be fairy dust, a divine moth would have more then enough to help out with the potion. Draculaura looked into her book to see if it would help as she confirmed that the moth scales could work, which made most of them smiled of how it allowed them to get it working. As it seem things were going alright, Junior needed to handle something important as he decided to head out in the hallways.
"If you don't need anything else from me, I'm going to work on my speech for the Founder's day meeting. The same one that were both doing Clawdeen?"
Reminding her while they were possibly getting into all sorts of trouble with doing this, it was important they kept of up with them working on the speech. The wolf girl nodded about the response as she was already working on her paper, the Kaiju merely shrugged it off before heading out to handle his own paper. Just as he left the room, the ghouls decided to talk about another topic that was going across their minds.
"So, we should talk about the sea beast in the room but, did you happen to see Junior when he was shirtless?"
Clawdeen asking Draculaura as the pink skin vampire merely hissed at the response seeing how she saw when he was bare chested. Both Clawdeen and Frankie noticed that it was clear she did get a peak at him, leaving her embarrassed since even for someone like the daughter of Dracula could be shocked at certain moments. Taking a moment to collect herself and focus on what to say, the vampire girl knew what she could say to her new friends.
"It wasn't on purpose. I came back from class to work on a quick potion. Just to help me focus on a lecture involving Pandora's hand in making the gates. Then suddenly he comes in shirtless and it just caught me off guard, plus also how he looked like he was in a fight."
Admitting that she was using magic to help focus on a lecture in school, however when Junior came in she lost her focus. Seeing his scales as well that of most of the scars across his body made her freak out, as well made him freak out since he didn't expect him to see her in the bathroom. Clawdeen could share in emotion since it was the first time she ever saw a boy without a shirt, due to how her father had always kept her safe and away from any humans.
"Yeah. I kinda got a first glance at him when was in the bathtub, he was a bit more surprised of me coming in than him glowing in the bathroom."
Expressing that while most males would be cool in a situation, he wasn't and ended up tearing the blinds off the pole. As the two chuckled at how the 'king' was frighten so easily, Frankie took a moment to think about the wounds that they both saw on him.
"That's interesting, I mean not his bare chest but his wounds. It would mean he'd been constantly fighting since he's been around the realm."
Thinking of how long those scars had to be since he's been here, more or less of the individuals had fought him. Taking a chance they opened up the Icoffin they had as well pulled up videos involving numerous fights that Junior might have been involved in. All that Frankie could bring up was 'lizard bar fight' which involved a Kaiju lizard whi best described Junior fighting off numerous Kaiju's that had claimed he was the new king of Kaiju. However it has been claimed that most people make it up since they'd think someone would want the attention.
"It must be rough, I mean to be all alone and fight everyday just to try and exist in a place that seems to thrive of violence."
Clawdeen stating since she's known what it was like being alone in the human world without any friends to be with but only her parents. Junior's situation involved a much more broader aspect of having to fight just to live and have a burden to be weighed down on him. While Clawdeen knew what she was looking for in Hyde's laboratory, what exactly was Junior looking to aid him.
Later-Outside of Monster High
Making sure he was alone and not having anyone following him or possibly noticed, Junior took a moment and went behind the school where there were several tree's grown in which was the perfect spot to write his paper. However he was also doing a small sketch, to which was his idea of what might help him with being the King of Kaiju.
"I need to think of a good name, like Jax. No sounds to mechanical, or James. To smart."
Thinking about several names for him as what he was drawing were human versions of himself since if there was a chance of making Clawdeen retain her werewolf form. Then it might be possible to become human and return to the human world where he can make a new life for himself. As he continued to think about what he could do with the chance of being a human, he felt something watching him from the shadows. Turning his head slightly he busted his fangs in a aggressive manner feeling like another attacker might be on him. Slowly standing up he looked in the forest where he saw no one, except a pair of blue eyes that stared at him. The sight made Junior growled in a way to intimidate the Kaiju looking at him, however rising from the bush was none other than Mira who was watching him work.
"Mira? What are you doing out here?"
Asking the adoptive sister of Deuce Gorgon of why she was out here, however she gestured him to follow her. Feeling like it could either be a trap or a way for her to tell on someone for seeing him out when he wasn't allowed had no choice but to follow. Venturing deep into the forest he saw how Mira came across a lake where she stood at the water looking at her reflection.
"In the human world, most of the sky is covered by their planes as well clouds. However here, you can see them as bright as daylight. As well in the reflection of the water."
Making a statement how unique the realm was to the human world as Junior never noticed it as he took a moment to look up. He saw how bright the stars were, to which they were beautiful. It distracted Junior as he barely heard a unzipping sound from Mira's hoodie.
"It's also the best place to let my wings out. So I could feel free."
Expressing a peaceful statement as Junior turned to Mira as suddenly the shy moth Kaiju that he saw soon changed. Removing her hoodie he saw her wings expanding in a fluttering manner, moving back the wings were both orange and brown with white lines going across each part of her wings. Junior didn't know what to say due to how shock and awed he was.
"Why don't you stay like this? I mean you look incredible."
Junior questioning Mira's look since it could easily rival that of Cleo's or anyone else that tried to show themselves off. Mira, letting her wings flutter merely goes to her as she places her hoodie back on. Adjusting to her wings going back to her body, she looked at Junior with a focused look.
"Because I don't like to show my wings, it'll distract others from my true self. Much like the opposite of your true self, your majesty."
Stating his royalty side which caught Junior off by surprise as the lizard didn't know if he could fight her since her sibling was Deuce. Right now he saw how calm Mira was and not frighten of him or possibly the power he had within him. He merely waited to see when she learned about his identity.
"I found out after your encounter with Caesar. Gojira always stood up to the most menacing and strongest, however. Would always look over the weak after Pandora changed his ways."
Stating how during his encounter with the lion Kaiju who was protecting Cleo, he did the same with Clawdeen and Frankie as Junior merely groans seeing how she might tell on the headmistress. Mira saw how the conflict on his face as well that she had her own type of secret.
"Me and Deuce will be here tomorrow afternoon. Will be ready to learn about why you hide what you are."
Responding how they would wait for him tomorrow since while Deuce seemed to want to stay out of any trouble, Mira was curious about Junior's situation. Leaving the Kaiju alone he took a second to look at his reflection, while also taking in the woods that she said to him. 'Hiding what he was', no one has ever said that to him and making him feel somewhat of a regret. Gripping his fist as well his spines glowing blue, he wanted to let out a roar. However he stopped not letting his emotions take over, meaning he would have to tell Clawdeen about this seeing how if this meet up would help them get divine moth dust and gorgon venom. They'd have to see what exactly they desire.
Monster High-Morning
Another day had come to Monster High with the students attending to their classes. Right now in the dorms was both Frankie and Clawdeen who decided to get breakfast since they planned on bringing it back so they could do a group breakfast. Junior slowly woke up seeing how he felt rather off from last night's encounter with Mira, however he stopped seeing Draculaura who apparently was talking to her father right on the painting she had in the room.
"I'll be soon coming over to the Founder's Day dinner. I'll make sure to bring your favorite blood meal, also how have you been doing in classes?"
The voice of Dracula speaking threw the portrait as it first started peaceful with him coming over with a snack. Then went straight to business as he was curious to see how his child was doing. Pretending to still be asleep, Junior noticed how the look on Draculaura's face showed a saddening expression about what he was expecting.
"A couple of B's. But still I can get better."
Draculaura stating to her father on the tests that she took, however for the father it seemed that it wasn't good enough. Sure that she's been slowing down on her studies but getting those grades still meant was passing to Junior's eyes, though it seemed that Dracula wasn't thinking the same ideals of the lizard.
"That is considered failing my child, you need to shape up or there will be trouble. I can't have you doing average in the classes, your a Dracula. You make others feel shame, not the other way around."
Giving her a strict statement before the portrait reverted back to normal as this left Draculaura rather unpleasant with while it was good to see her father. The idea of her not doing well dissatisfied him, Junior soon stood up leaving her to not look as she felt how he might have heard the conversation happening.
"How much did you hear?"
Asking him that as she felt he might have heard them since he was the only one in the room and to possibly hear them. Junior didn't respond since it was a touchy subject of how her father was serious with the studies she was doing here at school.
"Only that your father should acknowledge that your doing good, even if it's not perfect."
Responding of how while Draculaura might not be getting the best grades she was still trying. The look on the vampire girl's face said otherwise since it didn't seem best for her dad, seeing how whatever she wasn't doing wasn't up to his standards.
"That's because he's the king of vampires, along how that soon enough I might either take on his role of looking over vampires. But I don't want that, I want to make my own destiny."
Expressing how it seemed that unlike what Dracula had planned for her once she finished all her work and possibly becomes the most well educated and perfect student of Monster High. She'd soon then lead the vampires just like he would, however it wasn't what she desired. Junior knew that feeling more than anyone since he would beg to not be the king, since he was born with the responsibility than given to.
"Then you should tell him."
Junior stated in a serious manner of how with how he's spent a whole childhood with no parental figures to help educate him or even teach him how to do anything. He could at least give her advice on what she should do if he was in her place with having a dad trying to model her into a perfect monster.
"Growing up on my own, you've got to either leave if it's a bad situation. Or stand up, put on your scariest face and say. 'Dad, I'm your daughter. Not a pet, I make my own choices and fly my own path'."
Encouraging her about how that she should stand up for herself to Dracula as well acknowledge about what she wants to do. Though how he stated it merely made her laugh due to how he was trying to toughen her up, however she got the jest of his words.
"I was going say to him how I practice witchcraft and could possibly use it to help others. But what you said could help, if I was a boxer. But I'll do it when the time is right."
Draculaura acknowledging him as the lizard merely smiled of how it felt good to talk about something like this with a monster that had parental issues. As the two seemed to slowly have a moment the door opened showing Clawdeen and Frankie having breakfast ready for them as Junior made sure to set up the table they had in the room.
"It was a mad house trying to get breakfast, since there was a zombie mob trying to get brains. Which is surprising since how well guarded they are."
Clawdeen explaining about how getting breakfast was a challenge as they soon set it up where they begun to eat. As they did so Frankie looked rather nervous which got the others curious about what was on their mind.
"Seeing how we might be busy today and not see much of one another since we're getting the ingredients. Would it possible for us to have a group selfie?"
Curious of how with them beginning to become friends with the time they've spent with one another, Frankie believed it be good to have a actual group selfie. Junior didn't mind seeing how he was starting to get used to the fact he was with a group, the others looked to Draculaura seeing how she would be against the idea. All three of them looked at the vampire curious to see if she agree to one, however Draculaura merely gave in due to how she was being served breakfast and that they acknowledged her witchcraft talent.
"Ok. Just let's make sure Dino boy here isn't squinting."
Making a joke as Frankie merely had their bolts light up with electricity seeing how this was a wonderful moment. Junior merely smirked seeing how he didn't mind the comment as they went together for a group photo in which they did a pose with Frankie a good picture of all of them. It was warming moment for each of them as well how far they come to being dorm roommates to that of friends, in which was still new for each of them. They soon proceed to have their breakfast and then plan who would be retrieving the ingredients to complete the resurgence spell in order to help Clawdeen remain at Monster high.
