This chapter took a little while to get done but I think you will love it, more so the final scene which was written by my friend Blackwolf. Special thanks goes out to both them and RickRolland for reading/giving feedback for this chapter as well. More authors notes below.

"PLAYER 1 DEFEATED! FATALITY!" Janna threw the controller on the floor, bouncing up from the impact as Ocram shot her a knowing smirk.

Don't act all smug.

He shrugged his shoulders and put his controller down, patting Janna's shoulder to calm her down. She sighed and got up, stretching her legs after sitting cross legged for a half hour playing her and Marco's favorite fighting game. Losing herself to the button mashing, she frowned upon realizing she actually sucked at fighting games.

Guess Marco always lets me win.

Looking at how proud Ocram looked, sporting a wide grin on his face and walked toward Marco's bed. He sat down and looked around the room, taking it all in. He was mouthing words to himself, but Janna couldn't make out what he was trying to say.

Likely wondering why it's a mess, since Marco IS a neat freak after all.

She snickered at the mental image of Marco returning home and things being a complete mess. The image of him instantly cleaning instead of just relaxing after his 'adventure' amused Janna.

Janna turned to Jackie, who was looking through things on Marco's desk. Sensing Ocram was lost in his thoughts, Janna decided to hang out with Jackie for a bit.

"What ya doing? Trying to see if he has dirty pictures of you hiding anywhere?" Jackie rolled her eyes and pointed to the gray laptop on his desk. "Oh… trying to crack that puzzle."

Jackie nodded, slouching forward and blowing some hair out of her face. "Yeah. While you and Marco 2 were hanging out, I tried to use this thing."

She drummed her fingers on Marco's desk, annoyance clear in her eyes. Janna grinned, cracking her fingers and typing in a password. And in a matter of moments, the girls got complete access to the laptop.

"Of course you knew his password…"

Janna smirked, folding her arms and letting Jackie explore his neatly organized folders.

"You'd love the password."

Jackie turned toward Janna, raising an eyebrow.

"IHEARTJYT"

Jackie blinked for a minute before realization dawned on her. Jackie covered her face, doing her best to fight down a blush.

"Omg, that's…"

"Told him to change it but never listened…" Janna walked toward the nearby wall, leaning on it while Jackie resumed looking through the laptop. She opened one of the folders and saw a collection of pictures, showing folders within folders.

Wish I messed with him and accidentally put a surprise in a few of those folders.

But noticing Jackie's more serious expression, Janna paid attention to the pictures she was looking at. It was of the two of them, hanging out together when they just started dating. One of them had Marco nervously holding Jackie's hand while they posed in front of a ferris wheel, going to the Echo Creek Carnival a few years back.

He ditched his hoodie for once, wearing a button-up shirt and black pants while Jackie wore a short sky-blue dress with weave-like patterns on the heming. Janna narrowed her eyes, focusing on the fingers sticking out in the corner.

"Can't believe you let my little Witch tag along." Janna sighed, remembering how persistent she was. "She was all 'I can't let my big bro's date with that Puta go bad' and I gave her my camera to spy on you guys."

Jackie giggled, fighting back tears.

"Yeah, he was trying way too hard to impress me. But we saved some lobsters and MarMar was so adorable." She looked at the picture again, focusing on Marco's dumb smile. "He… He really cared, didn't he?"

Janna raised an eyebrow, curious at what Jackie meant.

"Well, he takes everything seriously." Janna walked over to Jackie, putting a hand on her shoulders. "When I first met him, he seriously believed I could curse him and crap."

Jackie turned toward Ocram, who was playing with some gaming handheld laying on the bed. She gave Janna a knowing look.

"Okay, I can use magic now but I I didn't know how back…" Janna suddenly felt weak, gripping the desk for support and she started coughing into her hand. Jackie got up instantly, as did Ocram. Janna held up her hand, earning surprised looks from the two of them.

Janna looked down at her hand, eyes widening at a little bit of blood staining it. She stared at her hand, fear visible in her eyes.

How the…

She also felt physically weak too, nearly falling on her knees if it weren't for Jackie catching her.

"...You okay, girl?"

Ocram gared at Janna, a harsh look on his face as if she did something wrong.

Why are you upset?

She took one of the tissues from Marco's tissue box and cleaned the blood off her hand, ignoring Ocram's glare.. "I'm fine, guess… A little under the weather."

Jackie didn't look convinced, but sat back down by the desk. Ocram remained standing up, being near Janna and watching her like a hawk. She gave him a look, hoping he would back off.

"Protective much?"

Ocram narrowed his eyes, a thin line on his lips.

"I said I'm fine!"

She shoved him away, stumbling backward somewhat but he regained his footing. His harsh look vanished, being replaced with a softer one filled with concern. Janna looked away from him, feeling bad for some reason.

"Sorry."

Ocram didn't seem phased, picking Janna up and firmly placing her on the bed. She wanted to protest but part of her enjoyed him taking care of her. He opened up one of the desk draws, looking for something until he found a notepad and a few pens.

It took a moment to figure out how it worked, but he eventually jotted something down on it and passed the paper to Jackie.

"Can you please get me some water?" She looked at Ocram, seeing him nod at the question she read out-loud. She got up and went to the bathroom to get some tap water. Now alone with Ocram, Janna watched him furiously write down something in the notepad.

He walked over to her and she read the note out loud.

"Dark magic is very dangerous. Please be careful."

Janna scoffed, folding her arms and giving him an annoyed look.

"I can handle my magic and don't forget, I made you."

Ocram bit his lip, sitting down next to Janna and taking her hand, giving it a firm squeeze.

Marco was never this touchy.

There entire friendship, Marco always gave her space and never overstepped any boundaries. She could remember sleepovers, watching movies together and even sharing the same bathroom sometimes when she stayed over. But he always treated her like a friend, and nothing else.

I usually touch him first.

Feeling the warmth from Ocram's hand, said warmth was amplified by the fact he initiated it. Janna smiled at the sensation and gave him a thankful look.

"Alright, I'll be careful. Is that better?"

Ocram nodded, pulling Janna into a hug. She blinked at how tight he held her but she enjoyed the embrace regardless. She heard the door open, with Jackie carrying a glass of water.

"Oh, did I interrupt something?"

Janna smirked, putting an arm around Ocram's shoulders.

"Jealous much?" Jackie rolled her eyes, giving Janna a playful grin as she passed the glass and sat down across from her. "Thanks, I think using too much magic at once messes with me a bit."

Jackie looked at Ocram while Janna slugged the water down, rubbing her chin.

"And how come he knows this? Shouldn't he only know what you, well, know?"

Ocram blinked, rubbing his chin at her comment. He took out his paper and wrote something down. Janna took it and read it to herself as she wiped her mouth.

'I just knew that. I don't know how I figured that out.'

You don't know either? Well, that's just great.

"I bet one of my tomes or daemon spellbooks has the answer," Janna passed the notepad back to Ocram who put it away and started pacing around the room. "But what can you do, Ocram?"

He pointed to his chest, with the girls nodding at him. He rubbed his chin, before snapping his fingers and entering a battle stance. He made mock punches, kicks and chops. It was as if he knew every single martial arts move Marco mastered.

Huh. So he really is a clone of him…

Sensing Janna's disappointment, he closed his eyes and focused. In a matter of moments, he was able to summon a phantom sword in one of his hands, making a few basic chops and showing them he could set it ablaze with dark fire.

Jackie's eyes widened in awe.

"Woah, that's sick! It's like one of those lightsabers or something."

Ocram smirked at Jackie's complement, making the blade vanish and smuggly folded his arms.

"Alright, Chicken Butt. Don't have to…" She was going to continue speaking, but was surprised at Ocram vanishing in an instant. The girls got on their feet, frantically looking around for him. But they froze seeing a notepad and pen floating in the air.

They moved, with the notepad floating toward Janna.

Can you say that again?

"Uh… Chicken Butt?" Ocram appeared once more, sighing in relief and mouthing 'don't do that again' to Janna.

This might be useful.

Janna now didn't have to worry about explaining to the Diaz's and others in Echo Creek how Marco suddenly came back to life and why his mole is now on the left side of his face.

She was going to say something else, but Ocram started walking toward Marco's closet. He opened the door and started looking through everything. Janna was going to watch him with interest but Jackie tapped her shoulder, giving her a serious look.

"Look, I know he looks like Marco and everything, but…"

I know, it's not him.

Janna sighed in defeat, not wanting to fully accept Jackie's truth.

"It's… It's easier to imagine that Ocram is Marco for now. Even if that's not right."

Jackie sat down next to her, joining her in watching Ocram look through Marco's things. He eventually started making piles out of his clothes, packed up boxes and other crap he had laying around.

"I don't blame you though," Jackie admitted, a small smirk forming on her face. "He acts just like him. Remember Marco helping me clean my room after my parents yelled at me for being messy."

Janna smirked, elbowing Jackie.

"You used my minion for your chores? How dare you."

The girls shared a knowing grin before they looked back at Ocram. And specifically the object he was holding in his arms.

"Wait, Marco played guitar?" Jackie asked, with Janna nodding. Ocram sat down in the nearby desk chair, finding a good hold on the red Spanish guitar, strumming the strings to figure things out.

"He was rusty with it, sounding like crap to be honest."

Jackie gave her a look but Janna folded her arms.

"Seriously, he didn't want to take lessons to play it. His dad figured it would be an easy way to win your heart."

Jackie wanted to laugh at the mental image of Marco trying to play a romantic song on a guitar to her, but Janna fought down a smug grin.

I hate lying to Jackie like this, but part of me doesn't.

She looked at Ocram, seeing his confused look at the guitar being replaced by a confident one. Looking at Janna, part of her felt excited.

Let's see if Ocram really has the Daiz genes.

He started strumming on the guitar, closing his eyes and losing himself to the music. In a matter of moments, the girls were treated to Ocram playing a soft but powerful song. The strumming got faster and he even started singing to the music.

Jackie was speechless but Janna could only stare at him, picking up on the specific song he was playing. He opened his eyes and focused on her as he continued playing.

'If my world stops spinning…' He mouthed, with Janna's eyes giving him a loving look.

And if tomorrow never comes…

He finished the song, looking at the girls expectantly with a look saying 'Did I sound bad?'

Jackie got out of the bed and shook him by the shoulders, making him drop the guitar.

"How come I never knew Marco could be this cute?!" Ocram blinked, looking for Janna for support. But he was instead met with a flirty look.

"Well, too late, Ocram is mine girl."

Jackie walked over to Janna leaning in her ear.

"Could you make me an Ocram."

Janna mouthed 'nope' and Jackie deflated, sitting on the bed and huffing in annoyance. Ocram took out his notepad and wrote down something in it. He showed it to the girls.

'I'm here to help Janna. Sorry Jackie.'

Janna elbowed Jackie, giving her a smug grin. Jackie sighed in defeat, but then gave Janna a content smile.

"Fine, but we should start picking something soon." Janna tilted her head, giving Jackie a confused look. "For the wake? Mrs. Diaz expects you to still do that."

Damn, forgot about that.

Ocram raised his eyebrow.

I'll explain later.

He seemingly read her thoughts, shrugging his shoulders and picking up the guitar. He was going to put it away but the three heard footsteps downstairs.

Shit, they can't see him!

Jackie seemingly read Janna's thoughts, putting a hand on Ocram's shoulders.

"You gotta hide, go in there Chicken Butt."

Ocram vanished in an instant, walking into the closet and closing the doors shut with ease thanks to his invisibility.

Jackie mouthed 'huh', tapping her chin as she watched Mrs. Diaz walk into the room, looking around for something. She carefully looked through everything on Marco's desk and even opened the closet door but found nothing.

"...Did one of you play my husband's guitar?"

Janna and Jackie looked at each other for a moment, before the former took a step forward. She made a mock bow, earning an amused look from Mrs. Diaz.

"Guess you learned it from Marco," She sighed, looking away from the girls and frowning at the floor. "He used to play it, trying to help Mariposa with her music classes."

Jackie put an assuring hand on Mrs. Diaz's shoulder.

"We were just looking through his things, trying to find inspiration for Janna's speech tomorrow." Mrs. Diaz smiled at Jackie before turning toward the open window. She blinked, seeing an orange sunset paint over Echo Creek.

"Oh my, didn't realize you girls stayed so late."

Janna blinked, looking out the window and frowning at the taunting Blood Moon peeking through the clouds.

Stay away.

Turning back to Mrs. Diaz, she sat down on Marco's bed and gave her a playful look. Jackie caught Janna's smirk, sighing in disbelief.

"So you two want to sleep over? In his room of all places?" Mrs. Diaz rubbed her arm, looking at the training room across the hall. "I can get the training room cleaned up if it's…"

Janna waved her hand.

"It'll help me uh, feel better or something. Right Jackie?"

Jackie elbowed Janna, a harsh look on her face. But Janna gave her the puppy dog eyes and eventually she relented.

"Y-Yeah! I never hung out in Marco's room anyway."

Mrs. Diaz sighed.

"Alright you two, just don't make too much of a mess. This works out anyway, since we can all go to the wake together tomorrow after a good breakfast!" She seemed genuinely happy, rushing out of the room and shouting for Mr. Diaz.

Once Mrs. Diaz was out of earshot, Ocram stumbled out of the closet. He fell flat on his face, invisible form covered by black and red hoodies.

"Okay Chicken Butt, stop being a drama queen." Janna gently kicked him as his form appeared once more. He gave Janna a sour look as he got on his feet and folded up the clothes. "We're gonna sleep over here tonight, so let me find you his PJ's."

"You know where…"

Janna gave Jackie a knowing smirk, opening his top drawer and throwing out some of his underwear and socks. She yelped as one of the tidy whities fell on her lap, her normally collected composure completely gone.

She laughed at Jackie freaking out, passing Ocram bottoms and a long sleeve shirt. Both were bright blue with a peace sign pattern. He walked into the closet to put them on, with Janna walking over to a spot on the wall.

Making a careful tap with her knuckle, a small compartment opened up, revealing a hidden cubby. Janna bent down, taking out a knapsack from it. She dug into it and threw Jackie a pair nightgown and bottoms.

"...Should I even ask how you set that all up?"

Janna mouthed 'nope' and grabbed the second pair in the knapsack.

After a few hours passed, it was the thick of night. Jackie was out like a candle, loudly snoring on a spare mattress Mrs. D put out for her. Janna snickered at Jackie hugging a small teddy bear that Marco had on his bed, taking it absentmindedly before passing out cold.

Janna wanted to sleep but something kept eating at her, almost warning her not to sleep for some reason.

She shook her head, pulling up the soft fabrics of Marco's Macky Hand bed covers. Her mind went to the many sleep overs they shared as kids, always sneaking into his bed and cuddling with him without his knowledge.

Shocked I never took advantage of anything.

It would have been very easy for her to do so. A simple 'spell', or just knocking him out cold saying 'Chicken Butt' would have made her deepest desires a mere finger snap away. But she shook off the dark thought, knowing that wouldn't be fair to Marco.

He needs to make the choice… Even if it hurts.

She wanted to laugh at the irony of those words, feeling a budding rage imagining Star Butterfly having her way with Marco.

He's too much of a Safe Kid to go THAT far…

She closed her eyes, letting slumber take hold.

Right?

Now firmly asleep, Janna could only feel a warm sensation holding her before everything went dark.

"Ugh… why's it so damn hot?" Janna groaned, rubbing her tired eyes.

She blinked away the linger traces of sleep and immediately noticed that the soft bed she'd shared with Ocram had vanished, replaced instead with a cobblestone lane in the middle of a quaint village. Janna eased off the burning stones and surveyed the strange land around her, orange flares erupting from distant volcanos, the ash blowing in the breeze, the cavernous dome of sky above. Squeezing through a cramped alleyway, she emerged in the middle of a bustling square full of shops, bakeries, and other businesses, but Janna gasped when she realized that the stock Medieval village she'd awakened to was peopled by demons. The strange creatures came in all shapes and sizes. Some were horned giants, red-eyed and strong; others were skeletons with empty sockets alight with hellfire; and others still resembled bats with twitching ears and furred wings. They coexisted peacefully, moving through the busy square like a single, monstrous superorganism.

Did I finally die and go to Hell? Janna wondered, intrigued. If so, maybe I'll find that witch who stole my—she stopped herself there and jammed her hands into her pockets. Nope. Not going there. Not now.

Desperate to take her mind off of unpleasant things, Janna decided to explore and ventured deeper into the village. She kicked shards of obsidian with her boots as she trudged along, trying to forget about Diaz, his disappearance, that lecherous blonde bimbo…that creepy Blood Moon curse… Stop it! Janna shook her head and bit her lip. She turned her focus to the demons, hoping that talking to them would distract her from wallowing in her deep misery, but when she waved, they ignored her. Their glowing eyes never looked her way.

Wow, just like being at home, she grumbled to herself, sighing. Then again, she wondered why on Earth she'd expect the denizens of H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks to be any nicer to her than the people of Echo Creek. They were demons, not angels.

The ground shook as one of the giants stomped in her direction, each step rattling the windows of nearby homes. Janna's heart sank as the titanic feet rose and fell closer to her…and moving closer still.

"Hey now, I'm walking here!" she shouted.

But the demon neither looked down nor slowed.

Janna braced herself for the worst when the giant's foot eclipsed the sunless sky, but the demon passed right through her body and continued obliviously on its way.

I'm dreaming again…fantastic. Janna realized. Guess I'm stuck looking for Diaz and his ditzy companion again.

Resigned to her fate, she shrugged at the encounter, her invisibility, her rotten luck and continued meandering through the dream, headed towards nowhere in particular. She passed schools, temples, apothecaries, everything until eventually finding herself at the end of a long line of demons. She walked through them and found herself outside of a crowded tavern shaped like a beached Viking ship. It was an odd place, far bigger than an isolated dive on the outskirts of a town had the right to be, and its frosted windows glowed purple in the waning twilight. The interior was even more surprising. While Janna had originally expected a rough-and-tumble Norse-themed biker bar, the tavern instead was styled like a rustic resort or a bed-and-breakfast—warm, safe, and cozy.

"Huh, what a charming place," she said, studying the décor. "Wonder if they've got anything decent to eat here. Wandering around's sure made me hungry."

She took a seat at the counter in the bar area, slid a menu away from a distracted demon, and began perusing the exotic options. Pig-goat heart, lion-dragon steaks, warnicorn oysters…none of it looked appetizing. Let's try drinks then. Janna flipped to the next page and frowned at the names of the cocktails: Heartthrob, Bedbreaker, All-Night Delight, Too Hot 2 Handle, Ride of a Lifetime…

"What kinda drinks are these?" she wondered aloud.

"I didn't name them, management did," a disinterested voice replied, startling Janna.

She looked up and spied a succubus leaning against the counter, wiping a glass clean with a cloth. Candlelight danced seductively in her violet eyes, and Janna found it difficult to look away.

The succubus rolled her eyes. "If you're wondering, I'm not for sale. Everything else at the bar is, but me…I'm done with that life—at least for now. I don't need to feed for another three hundred years. Now, what'll it be, human? You're the second I've served tonight."

"How can you see me?" Janna asked.

"I'm a succubus, girl. I haunt dreams and such, so I'm pretty good at spotting other dreamwalkers—other competition."

"Dreamwalkers?"

The succubus smirked. "Humans. Don't have a clue about how anything works. You see, girl, Dark Magic users can link with potential mates via dreams. That's how we succubi get our fix."

"Potential mates…" Janna echoed. "Wait, that means…Marco's here?"

"Marco? So that's the name of the Queen's new mate." The succubus laughed. "Saw him with her not long ago—ate a bunch of food and booked a cute little room upstairs."

"Where?"

"Third floor. But I'mma warn you, kid, you ain't standing a chance against the Queen. Mewman women aren't the kind to trifle with. We succubi have learned to leave their kind alone."

"But how'd they sneak in?"

"The Queen's a Butterfly, kid. Disguises are easy to come by."

"Oh," Janna said, "but why'd they come here?"

"Hey, we don't ask questions here at the Heartbreak Hotel. We pride ourselves on confidentiality."

"Heartbreak…huh?" Janna was even more confused.

"Go on up there and see for yourself," the succubus said. "Actually before you go, drink this. It's called a Little Cup O' Courage—on the house. You're gonna need it. Mewman women—especially Butterfly queens—are capable of doing things you'd wish you could unsee."

"Err, thanks," Janna said and tossed back the shot. It made her feel warm and numb, and it took a moment for Janna to find her feet when she stood up. She waded her way to the stairs in the rear of the building and went up, her stomach tossing with dread.

"Happy dreamwalking, Janna!" The succubus waved goodbye.

The atmosphere upstairs was very different from the tavern. It was quiet, quivering with excitement and something else Janna was reluctant to name. The lights were kept dim in the hall, coming from small red lamps perched on even smaller tables. Janna heard muffled sounds all around—some from downstairs but others from behind the closed doors. Laughing, talking, sighing, moaning…

Oh don't tell me it's that kind of hotel

Janna raced through the rooms in blind rage, passing emptiness, couples making out, couples cuddling, lonely demons staring out the windows…until she ended up in the room at the far end of the hall. She found Star sprawled on a ginormous bed, watching Marco tend the fire in the fireplace across the room. Her blue eyes danced with the flames.

"Are you sure this spell isn't going to make us sick or something?" Marco said, gazing off into the flames.

His voice filled Janna with immense longing. She wanted to run to him and box his ears, beg him to forget this nonsense on Mewni and return home, but she knew better than to blow her cover. Though normal demons couldn't see her, a powerful magic user like Star probably could.

"Marco, quit worrying so much and relax," Star said, rolling on her stomach. "We need the cloaking spell in the Lucitor Kingdom, or Tom will find us. Besides, we're here on a fun adventure."

"Haven't we had enough fun adventures for a while?" Marco winced when he sat on the bed, and Janna spied red lines running along his bare back and bruises along his neck. "Man, those monsters really did a number on me."

Geez, Marco, what the hell were you fighting? Lions? Janna wondered.

"Oh?" Star smirked and crawled over to him. "And last night didn't?"

Marco looked away, his cheeks turning scarlet.

Star laughed. "Don't be so bashful, Wild Man. You were amazing! You earned those marks on your back."

Wild Man? Janna bristled. Blood roared in her ears, nearly blocking out what came next. Now, she understood. The love hotel. The scratches on his back. The bitemarks on his collarbones and neck… She understood, and her blood boiled within her.

"I'm just glad you enjoyed yourself," he said, "especially since it was the first time and all…"

Star pressed her body against his back and bit his ear lobe gently. "You performed wonderfully, my Prince," she crooned.

That cheating little—Janna froze when the picture frame moved on the wall next to her, disturbed by her fist.

The couple separated and turned in her direction, ready to fight.

"Did you see that? The picture moved," Marco said, clenching his first and letting some magic build up in his palm. "Do you think…?"

"I don't think anyone followed us. But yeah… that was weird." Star stared hard in Janna's direction, her eyes undaunted and gloating. Did she know?

"Anyways, you're right—we shouldn't worry ourselves." Marco eased back on the bed and made his magic vanish. "We need to lay low until your magic recovers."

"I can fight without magic, bub. You know that." Star replied, pouting. "Besides you need to keep that on until we figure out your Dark Magic stuff."

Janna followed her gaze to the gauntlets on Marco's toned forearms. How many other secrets is this idiot hiding?

She stiffened as she watched Marco pin Star to the bed, his hand sliding up her bare thigh to a hidden place under her skirt. Their eyes met, brown against blue, and the air between them crackled with intense energy, hissing and spitting with the fire.

"So, how long do you think we have until you can use your magic again?" he asked, his voice scarcely above a whisper.

Star tapped her chin. "Oh, I dunno. A few days? A week? With the spell worn off, we'll have to be holed up in here until then." Her breath hitched, and Marco leaned in, smiling.

"Good."

"You seem eager for round two, aren't you, Diaz?"

Her breath hitched, and Marco leaned in, smiling.

"And three and four and ten and—"

She cut him off with a kiss.

The bed creaked and groaned as the two merged into one, as bodies shifted around and the room filled with soft, pleading sounds.

Janna did not stick around to witness why Star called Marco her "Wild Man"; she fled as soon as she heard zippers coming undone and practically flew out of the tavern, through the town, and out the other end. In the middle of an empty field, Janna collapsed to her knees, her eyes drowning in tears. She glared at the Blood Moon—that infernal moon—and hollered until her voice gave way to a hoarse, hissing wail.

"Why did you take him from me?" she cried. "Why?"

But the Blood Moon replied to her anguish with lonesome silence. Its eye remained fixed on the demon village, on the little hotel called Heartbreak, and the window where the lovers found rest in each other.

So the final scene was originally much shorter and not as emotionally um... damaging, but when Blackwolf gave the draft a look-over, they asked if they could have a stab at writing the scene and man... It really impressed me and genuinely changed some plans I have going forward for specific things. Please, give both Blackwolf and RickRolland's stuff a look if you want to see more of their work.

Regarding the story overall, things are ironed out for the next few chapters and I look forward to seeing everyone's thoughts on them. And the name of the chapter? A direct reference to the song 'Let Me Down' from Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Highly recommend that anime, though keep in mind it's a bit 'mature' at times with gore and other stuff. That anime also inspired me about how Dark Magic is going to effect Janna specifically too...

Thank you all for reading and have a great day.
