During the Round of 32 of the Tourney of Peace, Lynesse and Delena are taken to spend time with Princess Rhaenys but what they did not know was that she already has the company of her Dornish cousins...
Lynesse Hightower III
Outskirts of King's Landing, Crownlands, Year 284 AC
The day had just started and Lynesse had just arrived at the joust fields, tired but also excited to see the jousts of that day. Seeing all these knights together, riding and displaying their splendor was like a dream to her, as if she was living in the many songs she heard with her sisters back at the Hightower. She was loving it all and the best thing was that the closer they got to the finals the better the matches would be.
Baelor led her and Delena to the host stands to meet the Royal Family and her Tyrell nephews. When Lynesse first met Delena three years ago, she did not think much of her except wonder why her ears were so large. Thus she did not interact much with her. She did have her sisters then but now she did not and after Lord Florent introduced them again, they found they shared many likes and dislikes so they found much joy in each other's company. That was why Baelor invited Delena to join the Royal Family as well.
"Have you met Princess Rhaenys, Delena?" Lynesse inquired as they started the climb of the stairs that led them to their destination.
"Only by glance," Delena replied. "But I think she looks cute."
"She is the cutest little girl and she is very friendly towards everyone, even smallfolk." Lynesse assured.
"We are supposed to show some goodness to the less fortunate ones are we not?" Said Delena.
"Yes, but she even plays with them and..."
"Lynesse!" Baelor scolded immediately, his face showing disappointment. "I thought you had grown out of the horrible behavior of looking down on smallfolk!"
"But I have, I was just explaining it to Delena." Lynesse insisted. Though she still was reluctant of playing with smallfolk, especially the dirty-looking ones. The ones she played with before were ugly and stinky looking but they were nice and at the end of the day, it was better if one befriend nice people rather than mean people. "She ought to know what she is dealing with."
"Well, my cousin Selyse often complains about many misbehaviors she sees be it the little Princess or anyone really," Delena confessed. "She often complains about the little Princess's endless curiosity and lack of restraint towards talking with new people as well as ignoring the lessons she receives on etiquette just as often."
Baelor chuckled. "Best if you do not go around saying that about your cousin, Delena, otherwise, you might put her and your entire family in a tight spot."
Delena blushed and looked at the floor in shame. "I..."
Lynesse noticed that her brother stopped climbing the stairs, they were almost at the Royal Stands. He turned to them with his usual smile. "You can rest assured that neither Lynesse nor I will speak of this to anyone but you must consider what you wish to convey and what can really be conveyed. Never speak what you truly think or feel without considering the repercussions that can come out of it."
"I'm sorry Ser Baelor..." Delena murmured saddened. "I got carried away...uncle Alester would be disappointed..."
"It was just a one-time mistake," Baelor assured. "You will surely improve as you grow older. When I was young I was far more imprudent than you..."
"Like that you..." Lynesse was mischievously about to tell the tale of when Baelor farted in front of Princess Elia but to her surprise, she was prevented from doing so by Baelor himself who looked embarrassed.
"Someone is not paying attention to the lesson of the day." Her brother said. "Seriously Lynesse, do not bring that up, it's so embarrassing!"
"I'm sorry..." Lynesse said while giggling.
"Anyway, Delena, the point is that I got myself together with much hard work to the point that now I'm advising the younger ones so that they can do better than me. I know you two can do it!"
There was just something about Baelor's way of speaking that was able to go through any wall. Lynesse was not an expert at how to properly speak in public just yet but following her brother's footsteps was the best way to go at it. She could see Delena's embarrassment and worry disappear in a blink of an eye, her smile returning with her confidence. "I will try my hardest, Ser Baelor."
"That is the spirit!" Baelor said as he resumed climbing the stairs and a couple of seconds later they were finally at the Royal Stands. Lynesse concluded that her brother had purposely stopped them when Delena committed her mistake likely to prevent anyone else from hearing it. How did he think this far ahead? Great-Uncle Gerold was the Kingsguard standing on guard duty which brought joy to her because she enjoyed speaking with him even if he clearly did not know how to speak with her. "Great-Uncle Gerold." Baelor greeted, nodding to Great-Uncle Gerold who nodded back.
"Baelor and Lynesse, always a pleasure to see you," he said as he noticed Delena. "And who is this young lady?"
"Lady Delena Florent, one of Lord Alester's nieces," Baelor explained as Delena did a courtesy bow before Great-Uncle Gerold. "I brought these two to spend some time with the Royal Family."
"The little Princess has her cousins here." Great-Uncle Gerold said specifically to Baelor. Lynesse thought he was trying to convey some sort of message but she could understand what it was.
"It shall not be a problem, Great-Uncle, these two can befriend anyone and I'm sure Princess Rhaenys appreciates two more friends."
Great-Uncle Gerold spared one of his rare smiles. "You are right in that regard. Very well, I shall announce you all," he said as he turned mechanically to his left while clearing his throat quite loudly which brought everyone's attention to them. "Ser Baelor Hightower, his sister, Lady Lynesse Hightower, and Lady Delena Florent!"
Lynesse took a look around to see who she recognized and who she did not and one of the first things she noticed was that Princess Elia was not present and neither were her Dornish Ladies-in-Waiting. It had to be something related to the Princess fainting two days ago which also meant that she likely did not recover yet. Maybe Rhaenys is sad and worried...maybe I can warm her spirit a bit.
"My Lord and My Ladies, please do come closer." The Queen pleaded from the central seat and they stepped forward. The King was trying to get the attention of another child that seemed of his age this one with dark brown hair and eyes that looked wary of the attention he was gaining from the King and so he was trying to hide in his mother's embrace. Lynesse found both babies so cute she felt she melt with the scene. "Forgive the King's behavior, he has been trying to get young Jaehon Velaryon's attention all morning since he saw him for the first and yet the youngling seems just confused."
"The King has had his first encounter with a shy person." Lady Templeton said amused. "I'm sure these two will be great friends."
"I just hope they do not hate each other." The mother of the young Velaryon said.
"Nonsense!" Lady Templeton dismissed immediately. "I know what I speak, after all, I raised three boys. But I cannot be the only one finding this scene utterly cute, can I?"
There were plenty of laughs following this statement because everyone agreed. "Aegon, greet Ser Baelor and the ladies if you will." The Queen commanded.
"Hmm...hello Ser Baelor and My Ladies." The King acknowledged just before he seemed like he was struggling with words. "I...huh...good spectacle? Enjoy? Grandmother?"
The Queen smiled brightly. "The first part is perfect, my dear, the second half was confusing so you need to practice it still but you are getting there."
"Ok..." The King said as he returned to make weird faces at the young Velaryon.
Lynesse then watched a tuff of black curls move behind the seats of the Ladies-in-Waiting and noticed a curious look take a peek. Behind the little Princess were four Dornish-looking girls, one of which was taller than Lynesse. "Lynesse!" Rhaenys screamed in joy as she ran towards her and hugged Lynesse's thighs. "Friendly, friend!"
"Hello there, Rhaenys! Did you miss me?" Lynesse asked as she patted the Princess's head.
"Yes!" Rhaenys nodded.
"The King wished you all to enjoy the spectacle and seems like Rhaenys is more than happy to see you Lynesse." The Queen said amused before her gaze fell onto Delena. "You must be Lord Alester's kin, what is your name again, dear? You must forgive me for being so bad at memorizing names..."
"Delena, My Queen. Delena Florent." Delena said as she bowed in courtesy. "Pleasure to be acquainted with you."
"Pleasure is mine." The Queen said as she looked back. "Rhaenys, dear, you two more friends to play with. How about that?"
"I'm happy!" Rhaenys said as she began pulling Lynesse towards the fences of the stands. "Come, I have my cousins here!" Then she started pointing at her cousins. "That's Obara, that's Nymeria, that's Tyene and that's Arianne!" The excitement of the Princess made her speak very fast and Lynesse barely managed to memorize the names and faces. "Let's play! Play, play!"
Before she was demanded to call anyone by their name, Lynesse decided to confess the truth. "Forgive me, My Ladies, I must confess I have not memorized your names perfectly but I'm pleased to meet you all." she finished with a polite nod.
The Dornish cousins of the Princess looked at each other with some hesitation but finally, the blonde and light-skinned one spoke. "Nice to meet you, I'm Tyene."
Soon the others followed. "I'm Arianne. Pleased to meet you."
"I'm Nymeria. A pleasure."
"Obara."
"I think I have memorized it now." Lynesse avowed, reciting the names in her mind as she looked at everyone to make sure she did memorize them. Then she turned and gestured for Delena to come closer. "This my friend, Delena Florent."
"She comes to play too?" Little Rhaenys asked beaming.
"I'm sure she does." That made the Princess run towards Delena, hug her thighs, grab her hand and pull her to them.
"Friendly friends, let's play!"
"We will, Princess, but I must greet the remained people, especially my sister's family," Lynesse said. "Just give us a while longer."
"Oh, ok..."
"Do not worry, it shall not take long." Delena assured.
But it took quite some time...there were so many people in the stands and some of them demanded more than just a greeting like her sister Alerie. She was quite surprised at how much cousin Willas and cousin Garlan had grown with Baelor saying that soon they would be taller than him but that would be hard. Overall everyone seemed nice but by the time they finished greeting everyone, the jousts had begun and they missed Ser Barristan Selmy of the Kingsguard unhorse Lord Jon Fossoway.
When they settled by Rhaenys' side and of her cousins, Ser Oswell unhorsed Lord Martyn Mertyns after three tilts. She decided to take a better look at Rhaenys' cousins. Arianne was a bit plump and small with olive skin and dark curly hair; Tyene was blonde and white-skinned with pimples on her cheeks which made her cute; Nymeria had black hair worn in a long braid and large dark eyes, she also had high cheekbones and finally, Obara was olive-skinned, had short messy brown hair, was very tall and almost looked like a boy. Tyene was the prettiest, followed by Nymeria, then Arianne, and finally Obara but they all seemed nice so Lynesse wondered where were that uncontrollable bellicose attitude and bad smell of the Dornish.
"SER GARTH HIGHTOWER AND SER MANDON MOORE, PLEASE MAKE WAY TO THE FIELD!" The steward announced.
"That's my brother!" Lynesse announced happily.
"To everyone here, I wish you enjoy the spectacle but I must leave to partake in it too." Baelor announced as he received plenty of good lucks and cheers. Her Great-Uncle Gerold left with him as Ser Barristan Selmy had just appeared to relieve him.
"I do not understand why you call him brother, Lynesse, aren't Baelor, Garth and you all children of different mothers?" Delena inquired curiously.
"Yes, Baelor's mother was the late Lady Rosamund Merryweather, Garth's was the Lady Elissa Crakehall and mine own was the Lady Samantha Crane," Lynesse explained. "It is true we are only half-brothers but father always made us call each other brother or sister and nothing else. To me, they are full siblings."
"It is funny you say that because we feel the same about each other," Nymeria confessed with a thick and weird accent. "Obara, Tyene and I are all children of the Red Viper of Dorne but from different mothers though like you Hightowers, we call each other sisters."
"We are all sisters," Tyene assured. "Except for Arianne because she is our cousin but family is family."
"You bet." Arianne nodded. "We behave like sisters anyway."
"That is great!" Lynesse nodded. "Family is family indeed!"
"Indeed." There was a rather awkward pause after this which left Lynesse uneasy.
"Your brother is not bad." The tallest one of the Dornish girls, Obara confessed as they witness both jousters picking new lances. "That Valeman seems good too."
"Go Lynesse's big brother!" Princess Rhaenys shouted merrily. "Go, go!"
"Rhaenys seems to be feeling much better than yesterday, do you girls agree?" Nymeria pointed out.
"She is." Arianne nodded as she wrapped her tiny arms around her youngest cousin. "Which is good is it not?"
"Did something happen with the Princess?" Delena asked the question that Lynesse also intended to ask.
"You know her mother, our aunt, fainted two days ago from stress and heat," Tyene explained. "Father told us it is quite common for aunt Elia to do so because she was born sickly and premature but it was scary for all of us, especially to Rhaenys."
"But muña is strong!" Rhaenys said. "She will be back soon! And then we will play!"
"She is recovering so that is expected." Nymeria agreed. "I'm not sure if she will be able to play immediately though."
"Aunt Elia will probably watch the final days of the jousts but I agree with you Nym, I do not believe she will be able to play yet." Arianne added.
"She will!" Rhaenys insisted. "I saw it in a dream!"
"I sure hope so, little Princess." Lynesse said as she gently patted Rhaenys' curly hair but right then her brother was unhorsed. "Oh no! Garth!"
"That was a nasty blow he took," Obara said and it left Lynesse even more worried for her brother. "It was a very good match though, five tilts...they both knew what they were doing."
"How do you know if someone is good at jousting?" Delena asked. "Is it not just striking the opponent with the lance? Surely every man can do that."
Obara scoffed. "There are multiple ways you can see if someone has an advantage. For example, a bulkier man with more strength will have an advantage over a less powerful opponent. For example, every time my father jousted against Ser Lyle Crakehall, he was always at disadvantage due to the size and strength differences."
"But Garth is definitely stronger than Ser Mandon Moore." Lynesse pointed out as her brother stood up seemingly unscratched which was a big relief for her. "And there were a few jousts yesterday of similar conditions like Lord Stark's with Lord Mallister."
There were a few reasons why she remembered Lord Stark's match, one was because it took a lot of lances to end, two because both knights were very handsome and three because Lord Edmure was apparently Lord Stark's squire and she had danced with him during the opening ceremony. She was fond of Lord Edmure, he was nice and funny to an extent but still needed some practice with dancing but she was happy to have made a male friend of her age which she had none until then.
"Strength alone does not win all the fights be it a duel, a joust or a melee," Obara explained. "Experience is something you have to account for. The more jousts a jouster has entered, the more likely he will be to defeat his opponents be they big or small."
"Being a good horse rider also helps," Nymeria added as Obara nodded in agreement. "Sometimes a bit of luck."
"Intellect also helps a lot." Tyene also added.
"And how can you measure such things from just watching?" Lynesse questioned curiously. She enjoyed seeing the jousts, their splendor, the handsome knights, everything really but she hardly understood how one could deduce how good someone was at jousting.
"You look at the jouster's body frame first to see how bulky he is, then you watch how well he rides like if he is confident with the horse or not, then you watch how he attacks and defends, things like that." Obara said as she pointed to the fields. "Take a look at Ser Jaime Lannister who is entering the field, what can you tell me of him?"
Lynesse tried to analyze Ser Jaime Lannister as best as she could given what the Dornish ladies had told her but the first thing she noticed was the blue handkerchief tied to his right arm. "Oh! He has someone's favor!"
"Whose favor?!" Delena asked immediately and all the girls except for Obara, who slapped her forehead in dismay, took a peek to see it.
"Maybe his sister, Lady Cersei?" Tyene proposed.
"No, she would have not given it blue." Arianne dismissed. "It would have been red like House Lannister's sigil, right?"
"That is true." Delena agreed. "Maybe it's House Crane? The color is very similar to their sigil."
"House Crane? No, that is such a small and unimportant House." Arianne dismissed and that left Lynesse very angry.
"No, they are not!" Lynesse retorted bitterly. "They are an ancient and proud House just like yours or mine! They descend from Rose of the Blue Lake who was in turn a daughter of Garth Greenhand!"
"I'm sorry but before that, I never heard of them..." Arianne said a bit worried. "So I assumed they were not that important...I'm sorry if I offended you..."
"Lynesse's mother is a Crane, Arianne, have you not heard what she said earlier?" Tyene said.
"That explains it..." Arianne murmured as she looked at the floor in shame. "I'm deeply sorry if I sounded rude towards your mother's family and for not remembering what you said about her...Truly, forgive me."
Lynesse smiled shyly, she did recognize that she might have overdone it but she could not help it when it involved her later mother's House. "And I'm sorry for my reaction...I lost my mother when I was three but I remember her fondly and could not stand someone saying her House was unimportant especially when it has such a big history behind it."
"No, you were right, if you had insulted House Martell I would have been even meaner than you." Arianne confessed.
"Lynesse was not even mean to begin with, she just lost her temper." Nymeria pointed out. "Compared to your temper tantrums, that is nothing."
"Friendly friends, let's be friends!" Rhaenys intervened merrily as she grabbed her hands and Arianne's. "Friendly friends!"
"How can someone not do it when the Princess is so merrily chanting and making us less gloomy?" Lynesse inquired aloud.
"My cousin is even better than my uncle at it," Arianne said cheerfully. "Do you ever get sad Rhaenys?"
"Only when family and friends get sick."
"Arianne!" The cousins of the Dornish Princess hissed at her.
"I'm sorry I got caught up in the moment..."
"Sometimes you are so dumb Arianne." Nymeria said while shaking her head.
"No, I'm not!"
"Yes, you are!" Nymeria insisted.
"No, I'm not!"
"You all are dumb!" Obara barked annoyed. "Instead of analyzing the fighters and seeing the joust which by the way just ended, you are here discussing handkerchiefs and all that and now you are bickering with each other, cut this now!"
"My apologies, Lady Obara, I got carried away..." Lynesse said. "I'm afraid analyzing jousters is not really my thing..."
"Did you just call me Lady Obara?" The taller girl asked surprised and Lynesse worried she did something she should have not done.
"Are you not a lady?" Lynesse asked, trying to fix any possible mistake she made. "I was not aware that being a bastard born meant that the proper courtesy should not be applied..."
"Obara does not think herself a lady, Lynesse," Nymeria explained. "She prefers to play as the boys do."
"And you do not?" Obara asked bitterly. "Who is father teaching how to use knives and daggers?"
"You girls use knives?!" Delena asked worriedly. "But that is wrong!"
"It's not wrong if someone means to harm you and you can defend yourself." Nymeria retorted. "Or would you prefer to end up raped or dead?"
"No, but..."
"I'm not going to use them like some murderer, it is just for my protection and it's quite common in Dorne for women to carry daggers with them."
"Clearly our cultures differ a lot." Lynesse summarized trying to stop the now endless discussions. She agreed with Delena, using knives was very wrong but Nymeria's reasoning had merit in it, no one wished to end up dead or used. "But that is just how it is and it is all interesting to learn some more about each other."
Despite her attempt to ease the tensions between Delena and the Dornish girls, things were not working... "Learn more! Yes! Learn more!" Luckily Rhaenys was around to fix everything. She grabbed Delena's hands and also Nymeria's and began dancing. "No angry friends, only happy friends!"
And just like that, the tension dissipated little by little. "I guess Lynesse is right...we are very different in many things but very similar in others." Delena said. "While some of your deeds are wrong in my mind, I do not think we should hold a grudge because of it. I would appreciate us being friends..."
"Agreed." Nymeria nodded. "Let's just watch the jousts, that is the whole point we are here for and that way, we bicker less."
"Yes, sounds like a good idea." Delena agreed. "We can speak about...dresses or something of the sort in the meantime?"
"Dresses?" Arianna interjected beaming. "Now you are speaking my language."
It turned out that Ser Jaime Lannister had won his match in the fifth tilth with quite some difficulty given what Obara told them. They saw the handsome Ser Elbert Arryn win with much luck against the experienced Lord Yohn Royce and here Lynesse was starting to pick some things of what Obara and the others told her in how to recognize someone's prowess because, given Lord Royce's size, it was a miracle Ser Elbert defeated him. This did not happen in the next joust in which her Great-Uncle Gerold defeated Ser Boros Blount in the third tilt. Her great-uncle was taller and with a big frame than his quite chubby opponent who while quite skillful was no match for her great-uncle. Ser Daeron Vaith from Dorne suffered the same result as Ser Lyle Crakehall was much stronger and arguably quite good on his horse.
The exciting match between Ser Jacelyn Bywater and Lord Jason Mallister was more even and was won by the latter. Next Ser Garse Flowers, one of Lord Mace's many cousins was defeated by Ser Monford Velaryon in a not-so-exciting match. Following that, Delena's uncle, Lord Alester tried but was harshly rammed into the floor by Ser Brynden Tully on the fourth tilt. Her friend had been worried about her uncle but when he stood up they all were relieved. While the jousts were so splendorous to watch, every time someone fell to the ground harshly, Lynesse's heart skipped a beating.
The handsome Ser Addam Marbrand defeated with great difficulty Ser Aron Santagar on the seventh tilt much to her Dornish friends' dismay and after him, Ser Meryn Trant struggled the whole joust against the bulkier and handsome Ser Richard Lonmouth until with some skill he hit his fellow Stormlander in the waist, causing him to lose control and fall. She was saddened by this because she liked House Lonmouth's sigil for some odd reason.
Finally, Baelor had a go against Ser Gulian Swann who was taller and bulkier than her brother and seemed quite good on top of his horse. Despite the disadvantages, Baelor proved to be more skilled and rode his white charger with grace unhorsing his opponent on the seventh tilt which made Lynesse and her friends jump with joy. Her brother then helped Ser Gulian get up and shook hands with him.
Lord Mullendore and Lord Coldwater's match was also very exciting because they were both very good at jousting but the latter won and then Ser Richard Horpe won the fastest victory of the round by unhorsing Ser Danwell Frey in the second tilt. Finally, to end the day, the last but coincidentally the best match took place, making Ser Arthur Dayne face Ser Jacaerys Velaryon, the father of the kid that the King was so adamant about attracting.
Ser Arthur outclassed the opponent in every possible way but Ser Jacaerys was definitely not a bad jouster and kept hanging on and even threaten Ser Arthur on multiple instances. Lynesse thought they were both worthy of winning but because Ser Jacaerys was slightly worse, she hoped he would win and cheered for him but unfortunately, after eleven tilts he finally lost balance and fell giving the victory to Ser Arthur.
"Who would have thought that Ser Arthur would struggle so much against a bloody Velaryon," Obara confessed surprised. "I got excited after this battle! I'm going to the yard!"
"His wife is right behind us Obara!" Tyene protested. "Watch your mouth!"
"Ah, damn it...uh...sorry?"
"Does not seem like the woman heard you..." Nymeria pointed out. "Anyway, it was definitely an exciting match but I'm not going to practice at all."
"Nothing is better than watching handsome men prove themselves in the yard, am I right girls?" Arianne asked but she already knew the answer.
"Yes!" Lynesse nodded. "So many handsome knights...I'm truly marveled."
"Me too." Delena agreed to them.
Lynesse just had an idea. "Hey who are you girls rooting for to win? I of course vote for my brother."
"I vote for your brother too." Delena said a little red in the cheeks.
"Hum...I think I will go for Ser Jaime Lannister." Arianne said with a dreamy face. "He is so handsome."
"He already has a favor..." Tyene pointed out.
"Who cares, I want him to win." Arianne scoffed. "What about you Tyene who do you want to win?"
"Ser Arthur of course." Said the blonde Dornish girl. "I'm from Dorne but if not him, I vote for Lynesse's brother."
"I vote for Ser Arthur too," Nymeria said. "He is just as handsome as the others. And what about you Obara?"
"Ser Arthur though I could not care less if he is handsome or not."
"But you do admit he is handsome, hmm?" Arianne teased.
"Be quiet!" Everyone laughed at that.
"Only Rhaenys is missing..." Lynesse proclaimed as she hugged the little Princess who hugged her back. "Who do you want to win?"
"So many friendly friends...Rhaenys wants them all to win!" They all laughed at the obvious answer and decided not to demand a different answer.
"Hey, Lynesse and Delena, do you two still want to see our dresses?" Arianne asked.
"Yes!" Both Reachners replied.
"We can visit father and aunt Elia before and then we can play come to my castle with Rhaenys." Nymeria proposed. "She will not stop bothering us about it anyway..."
"Yes!" Rhaenys chanted merrily. "Come to my castle! Nymeria will be the baddie bad."
More laughter followed. "Seems like cousin Rhaenys knows things..." Obara smirked.
Nymeria shrugged. "What can I say?"
"But first your grandmother must give us the authorization to return, Rhaenys." Arianne pressed forward.
"Grandma! Grandma!" Rhaenys shouted as she ran to the Queen.
"She is the cutest girl around." Delena proclaimed smiling.
"And we cannot compete with her..." Arianne admitted and everyone agreed.
Thank you for all the reviews:
free man writer: Brandon and Jaime are so similar that I think it would be impossible for them to not be friends had they actually gotten to know each other.
Radomir's Renegades: I don't think Cersei would curse Jaime as she does Tyrion but you can bet she would be very angry and with Melara too, she would feel betrayed. Horas and Hobber are little kids, it's more likely that she will marry some Westerman, she is from a rather average House. House Dayne is doing its thing at Starfall with Allyria probably bitter that she wasn't allowed to attend the tourney. Darkstar might still have a role in the future but he is a kid now so it will have to wait.
Took me a little bit more than I hoped to get this Chapter ready but it's now finished. I'm planting a bunch of seeds for future plots so it might look like nothing is happening but it is.
After this tourney and seeing what's happening with Ned and Ashara and perhaps a couple of other places, I think I will start to implement small time skips whenever they are necessary I just hope I don't screw up as some people say of House of the Dragon.
Speaking of House of the Dragon, the first season is ending and I have not watched a single episode and frankly, I'm not sure I will, given what I have read about the series and considering my own analysis of the characters who to me seem pretty unsympathetically. What do you guys think? Is the show good or bad or just average?
Anyway, thank you for sparing time reading and I hope everyone has a nice day and stays safe.
