"Rock n' Not Loud Adventures!"
Chapter 29: A Flippin' Problem...

(October 21. the Somewhere in Royal Woods, Michigan.)

A Friday, something everyone is happy about, and we see Lincoln Albert Loud and Luna Marie Loud. The two siblings are already done with school and both plan to spend some time together. "Dang, a lot of homework to do, but not something we can't handle sis" replied Lincoln.

"No kidding there, little brother" replied Luna. "Sure the homework doesn't seem so hard, but school today was intense, especially the surprise quiz. Felt like a dang prison." This makes them both chuckle, then something comes into Lincoln's thoughts and then he asks.

"Luna, since you already know about the talent show coming on October 25. Can you help me with the song with Jordan and I will perform together?"

Luna smiles hearing this. "It would be my honor, little brother. I'll help you and Jordan, and whether you guys win or lose, what matters is that you proved and showed everyone what you guys can do."

Luna then pulls her brother close to her, and this makes them both chuckle, just then they spot a very familiar convenient store, and it goes by the name.

"Flip's Food and Fuel."

"Can we go and get a Flippie?" asked Lincoln.

Deep down, Luna doesn't want to. She stopped going here, and she doesn't wanna come back here to a place where everything has been boosted above the normal prices which you would find at the local supermarket. "Alright, fine. I'll pay for it. I'll go for one too."

Lincoln and Luna head inside, but what they see is something that seems almost normal. Flip, is trying to fix the nacho machine. The issue is that the nachos aren't coming out right, and only in drops and has been causing complaints, and so he has to fix this, his way.

Luna Loud doesn't like Flip, she legit hates him for all of the times he has tried to scam her, her brother, and the rest of her family, and even Lynn Sr and Rita are annoyed when it comes to Flip, he always makes things pricey, and wants to nab the cash they have, she is happy about the time when Flip bought what Lisa had, and it caused him some serious damage. He deserved it.

Lincoln and Luna ignore Flip as he keeps hitting the nacho machine with the broom, and they steer clear of that mess. They recall one time they waited for free nacho cheese, but instead it broke down and they watched Flip get so angry at the machine he tore his shirt off and attacked it, and then get beaten when the machine was on top of him. How and why, is something they don't even have an answer for.

Lincoln and Luna then grab the two large cups and fill them up with the Flippie machine. "Let's get the heck outta here, little brother. I don't wanna have to deal with that cheapskate's psychopath over there." They see Flip as he opens the nacho machine and rewires it to work again.

"Agreed sis" replied Lincoln. "So glad that Clyde and I chose some other place than Flip's for our internship. We might not have had the chance for unlimited Flippies, but it would save us from his cheap and dastardly ways."

Lincoln and Luna head to the counter. "Flip, we're gonna pay up already."

Flip hears this, and he races over and then he sees the price. "Okay, that'll be ten bucks each."

This surprises both Lincoln and Luna. "What?!" Luna is outraged hearing this. "But the Flippie is just five bucks!" Back then it was only two dollars.

Flip smirks, and he has an excuse. "Well, yeah it is true that when one person buys a Flippie it is five bucks, but two folks buying a flippie is a whole lot different, double the Flippie and it is double the price. So either you pay up or beat it, I got some other customers to deal with." but Lincoln and Luna are the only ones there.

Luna is ticked off and she really wants to punch this guy, but then Lincoln speaks. "Don't worry sis, I can pay for both and..."

"Nope, let me handle this little brother" replied Luna.

"No, I insist, let me do this sis" replied Lincoln.

Luna is unsure, but she accepts and so Lincoln pays 20 bucks. Flip then takes the cash. "A pleasure doing business with ya too, Louds. Hey, is that Lewis Lady coming here one day? She's the only lady who has never been..." but Lincoln and Luna ignore him, they don't want Michelle to waste her cash here.

But they don't know, that the nacho machine Flip was trying to fix is starting to boil and then some cheese spews out, and they all take cover. "Not my cheese!" Flip grabs a bucket to catch the cheese raining, but some of the cheese flies elsewhere, and they land onto a live outlet, from where the cooler is attached. The outlet sparks up and it is wet below, and some newspaper as well.

The sparks start to intensify and they hit the old newspaper, and a fire has begun. Lincoln and Luna see this and are now horrified, the fire is moving fast and it is hitting the nearby shelves and aisles where there is expired stuff, and have become flammable.

Luna is alarmed and she grabs her brother. "We gotta get out of here, now!"

Flip sees this and he grabs his Fire Extinguisher, but when he uses it all that comes out are bubbles. "Oh, right. I bought one and filled it with... Forget this!" Flip grabs his cash register, and the stash of cash he has inside of a safe, and he makes a mad dash to the door. "Out of the way, Louds!"

Flip pushes Lincoln and Luna out of the way, and then he locks the door. Luna goes over, and she helps her brother up. "Are you alright, Lincoln?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Lincoln coughs and he looks around, they see the flames are getting bigger, and they are headed to the nacho machine. "We gotta get out of here, sis."

They head for the exit, but it is locked. "Oh come on!" Luna tries to kick it, but it won't budge. Luna looks around, and she sees something that can be useful and so does Lincoln. Luna grabs Flip's seat, and Lincoln grabs a very old salami stick and they break the door down, and they both race out and cough the smoke.

"What did you do to my door?!" yelled Flip.

"What did we do?! You locked us in there!" yelled Luna.

Flip scoffs. "An unlikely story! When the cops show up and see this, I'll make sure I tell them who to blame for..."

"For what?" They see Officer Tristen Pingrey, and he goes over and checks on Lincoln and Luna. "You kids alright, I was escorting your mom home after she helped a client win the case against a suspect."

"Kids!" Michelle comes out and she goes over and hugs them both and then she checks on them both. "Are you two alright? Anything hurt?" she checks them for injuries, and there doesn't seem to be one, but she sees this bruise on the right cheek of Lincoln, and a small scrape on Luna's left knee. "At least you two are alive, thank god!"

Michelle embraces them, and they hug her back, and Lincoln has some tears, he was really scared when the fire started and when they were trapped in there. The fire trucks soon arrive, and they help put out the flames, and some of them go inside to try and stop the fire within, and since this is Flip's, they are also going to go and look for the memory box with all the camera recording, which will help them know what started this fiery madness.

Flip then makes his excuse. "Officer, those Louds did it! They started the fire and wanted to ruin my business, and that means I wanna press charges, for every last cent they have, and every cent and dollar that Lewis lady has."

Luna is angered hearing this. "You started this when your nacho machine went all out of control! You pushed us aside, and locked the door! We could've been killed!" this angers the cops who also show up, and the other folks who wanted to see this, and among them is Dana and she records this. Michelle Lewis looks ticked off and ready to rip this man's head off.

"Unlikely story, they're lying officers. Arrest them already!"

"I don't think so..." the fire chief comes out from the building. "This black box here, this has all the camera surveillance proof, and we can be able to see what really happened. Ms. Lewis, I think you can sort this one out. Also, this looks like a black box used for airplanes. Gotta love the fire proof stuff."

Michelle takes the box. "Detectives will wanna see this, and if what we see is true, then I am pressing charges on you for arsonist, child endangerment and attempted murder!"

Flip didn't like this, he sweats nervously and then he tries to make a run for it, but then the man is tased and he goes down to the ground. Michelle had a taser with her. "Nobody, and I mean nobody messes with my kids!" This makes Lincoln and Luna happy, hearing Michelle call them that.

Everyone else cheers seeing what Michelle Lewis just did, and it looked awesome too. Katherine Mulligan is on the scene and she got everything on camera.

Cops then apprehend and they arrest Flip, and he will be placed in a holding cell, and then all the evidence will be seen and presented, and this former convenient store owner, is gonna be doomed.

Michelle then feels Lincoln and Luna hugging her, and so she hugs them back. "Let's go home kids." they then hop into Officer Tristen's cop car, and they drive off. Flip is going to be locked up, for what he did, but what will happen to the convenient store now?

(Time skip, Night Time. the Loud house.)

Lucy is down stairs, and she is with the bust of Edwin and they watch Vampires of Melancholia, and deep down she is ticked off. "I really hate that Blake Bradley guy, but I wonder what mom's plan is..." she sees the show is starting, and it seems to be going well.

But then Lucy sees the grandnephew of her main character falls off of a cliff in the foggy area, and he is gone. Lucy smiles seeing this, and so does the main character on the show. "Thank you mom."

"You're welcome, kiddo." Michelle walks by her, and she goes back to her room. She just needed a glass of water, and so Lucy continues to watch her show, without some other new and young character involved.

Lori and Leni see this from the stairs, and Lucy doesn't even know that they are there, they are shocked and horrified, that the character they like, is gone. But they both walk back up the stairs, and then Lori whispers to Leni. "Sis, it is for the best. This is literally Lucy's show, and we should stay out of it."

Leni nods and she whispers back. "Alright, I guess that was what mom had planned, I mean it looked horrible and kinda mean. But, this is for Lucy. We shouldn't meddle with the things she loves, and also Lisa owes her a new poetry journal after what happened last time."

What does she mean by last time? Alright, so anyone here recall the Loud House episode called "Spell it out"? Yeah, exactly.

A/N: Thank you again to "Marvelomac1010" for this, you sir know how a concept works and how I can be able to manage and make it happen. This is awesome, and truth be told... Flip will not be locked up for long, there are plans for him, and there goes "Fandom Pains." I hope you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter everyone.
