The beast growled, menacing, and anyone with survival instinct would have run away. But Anna was not going to let herself be impressed by the animal, and she walked forward.

"Anna!" Whispered Elsa. "Anna, for Odin's sake, come back here."

She didn't. Actually, Anna took quite a pleasure in making sure Elsa knew that she heard her, but that she wasn't going to obey.

"ANNA!" whispered Elsa in a louder voice. This time the whisper was insistant and had a little mother tone in it. "Don't be an idiot, get back here!"

"Shhh..." said Anna, and she made a gesture of silence with her hands in her direction as she was walking slowly towards the beast.

This was utterly dangerous. However the children that the animal had trapped were all looking at Anna with the most touching faces of hope ever. Anna was walking as silently as she could - which, with her goofiness, was quite a challenge - to reach the beast before it reached the children first.

They were all grouped in a bush, trying to hide from the beast which was revealed to be blind after Elsa and Anna analyzed the situation. Obviously, the first thing Elsa thought to do was to trap the beast into a giant cage made of ice. But maybe that in the process it would panic, and wave its claws, and harm the children. She was thinking of another plan when Anna, whose courage, boldness and, must be mentioned, hyperactivity, simply decided it would be clever to directly walk to the beast. Elsa completely lost her mind.

"It's way to dangerous!" she whispered with a sharp tone. "ANNA!"

The redhead gave no damn to what her elder said, for she was very close to a branch on the ground and could use it to poke at the beast's rear to distract him from the children.

But as she wanted to take another step, something stopped her right foot. She glanced down and saw an ice chain firmly grabbing her leg. The other end was planted near Elsa.

"Seriously?" Anna whispered to her sister, anger in her voice.

Elsa just glared at her from her hiding. 'Come.' 'Back.' 'Here.' she mouthed.

Anna rolled her eyes and took a rock on the ground and hit the beast's head with it. There was a general gasp: the beast gasped, the children gasped even more, and Elsa gasped twice as loudly.

It turned its head and smelled into Anna's direction.

"Oh, that's just great." Said Elsa, tone overflowing with sarcasm, not even bothering about whispering anymore.

Yep, the children were safe now. Because the beast had only one thought: eat Anna alive. He ran to her at full speed and Anna was about to run away but felt face first on the ground. She lifted her head with wide eyes.

"ELSA!? THE CHAIN, PLEASE?!"

Elsa missed a beat. "Oh, yes, right, sorry"

She made it vanish just in time. Anna ran away, and one second later, a gigantic ice cage felt from the sky to land right on the beast's head, knocking it down and emprisoning it.

The children exclaimed in joy, and ran to their highnesses with happiness and relief. Anna and Elsa exchanged a look. "Never do that again, you dork!" they said at the same time.

Then they laughed and joined the children in general glee.
