Thanks to the efforts of Tatenashi, the last of the Four Heavenly Kings were defeated. It was a close one, but it seemed like the last of the four was defeated. He just floated in the water of his defeat and that meant the enemy has just lost the elite. However, it would seem that the soldiers are still fighting. Either they are desperate or they aren't aware that all of their generals have been defeated yet.
"Move it!" Houki shouted as she swung her swords around and knocked some of them down.
"You might want to take a look! Your general has fallen! Your only option is to stand down now!" Laura said. All of them took a look and saw that Iramin was really beaten. They all didn't like the looks of it at all. "While your weapons are impressive, you are clearly outmatched. Unless you are looking to get yourselves killed, you might want to stop the attacks." The soldiers were starting to loose some morale. All of the elites have been defeated and it's not looking good for them at all.
"Magnamon, can you got get Tatenashi?" Davis asked.
"No problem." Magnamon said as he flew over to help Tatenashi. It seemed like this was all coming to an end, but Davis knew a lot better.
'It might seem like it's over, but Sakyo is still out there. He's the head of Rogue Nirvana. As long as he's still roaming free, a mess like this could start all over again.' Davis thought. It seemed like the soldiers were surrendering. Seeing someone who is considered the elite can be quite a shot and weaken one's resolve.
"This was easier than I thought. I almost can't believe they would give up that easily." T.K. said.
"I suppose their hearts weren't entirely in it. Maybe they weren't fully aware of what they were getting themselves into." Cody said. Meanwhile, Ken had Rin and Kanzashi resting against a wall and trying to help them. They were starting to pull themselves together and woke up.
"You're both awake. Are you two doing okay?" Ken asked.
"I feel like I got hit by a truck, but I've dealt with worse." Rin said. "Hold on a minute. Do I know you? You seem rather familiar?"
"My name is Ken. I'm close friends with Davis. Kanzashi is your name, right?" Ken asked when he turned to her. "How are you feeling?"
"Fine, thank you." Kanzashi said. She looked around to see they were back at the academy, but she noticed someone was missing. "Big Sister? Big Sister?! Big Sister, where are you?!"
"Hang on! She's coming in!" Magnamon called as he flew in with Tatenashi in his arms. He placed her down gently, but it looked she was in bad shape.
"Big Sister!" Kanzashi called as she was scared seeing her like that. "Oh my gosh?! Are you okay?!"
"I'm okay. You don't need to worry about me." Tatenashi said as she was as tough and optimistic as ever. "What's going on with the battle? Is it over?"
"It looks that way." Ken said as it has settled down pretty well. "That was a bit of a close one."
"Yeah, but we were able to win another battle." Davis said as he walked over. "Speaking of which, I'm going to need your genius, Kanzashi. I need to get Sutapisa fixed. You can't really have Dragonic Heaven without Sutapisa." It seemed like everything was calm and settle now, but it always seems like that before something big happens.
"Attention, my soldiers! This war is far from over!" They could hear someone's voice, but it sounded like that voice was being broadcast around the whole city.
"That voice! It's him!" Davis said with some rage.
"Who?" Cody asked.
"Sakyo Qilin!" Davis answered.
"The Four Heavenly Kings have all fallen in battle. While that is sad, it is an opportunity." Sakyo announced. "The enemy has just shown a misjudgment by letting the rest of you go. To those who are still able to fight, this an opportunity for all of you." It sounded like he was starting to rally his troops to continued fighting.
"Where is that voice coming from?" Houki said.
"I do not know. Is he somehow broadcasting it over the entire city?" Laura said.
"Continue fighting. Do not give up the fight until the fight is won." Sakyo announced. "With the fall of the Four Heavenly Kings, the soldiers who do the best work can rise in the ranks. You could become one of the new Four Heavenly Kings. Become the face that changes the world. Remember what we are fighting for!" It would seem his words were getting through to his men as they were all trying to get back in the fight and wanted to keep going.
"Uh... Guys... I think we have a problem." T.K. said as the soldiers were still fighting as they reached for their weapons and tried to keep the assault going.
"There's too many of them, and we have injured! Fallback!" Laura ordered. It seemed like things were starting to get a little out of hand for them. They grabbed the injured and hurried out of there and tried to take cover. They all kept moving with them deactivating the I.S. and taking cover inside the building and the digimon reverting back to their rookie forms.
"The door! We need to block it!" Houki said as the enemy could still get in. Suddenly, metal came down and blocked the door. It looked like the school was going into lockdown. That gave them all a moment to catch their breaths.
"How did those doors close?" Cody asked.
"Had to be Miss Orimura and Miss Yamada." Houki said.
"But what about the others? They're still out there, and it looks like those soldiers just got their second wind." Davis said as it seemed like Rogue Nirvana was starting to make a comeback. It would seem Sakyo knows how to rally others into keeping the fighting going.
"It would seem that we gave the enemy a chance to counter." All of them looked and saw Chifuyu and Miss Yamada meeting up with them. Chifuyu did not look pleased with them. "What the hell were you all thinking? You were suppose to bring the enemy down? Did you just think the soldiers were not worth the effort or something? Are you all that arrogant?"
"Well... I wouldn't say arrogant, but something like that." Davis said. Not exactly the answer that Chifuyu was looking for. "You heard that announcement too, right? The Four Heavenly Kings are beaten. That means that my sis and the others were able to beat the other two."
"That doesn't mean you should have ignored the other soldiers. Yes, defeating the leading generals might have helped, but that didn't mean the soldiers were just going to give up." Chifuyu said. "Now we've got a real mess on our hands. There's also something else you don't seem concerned about, Motomiya."
"What?" Davis questioned.
"The fact that we're stuck in here and the Fangshin siblings are left alone." Chifuyu said. That made him realize that Lita and Wade are left vulnerable.
...
Wade's Lab
Wade and Lita were still in his lab and it seemed like Lita was still recovering. That left them vulnerable for Rogue Nirvana to attack. Even from where they were, they could hear the sound of everything that was going on.
"That doesn't sound good. Hang in there for a minute, Lita." Wade said. He was moving to get a few things, but that was when an explosion went off and blew open the door with Wade getting knocked down.
"Don't move!" Wade looked up and spotted a few soldiers were able to bust in. "What is this lab?"
"My lab." Wade said. "You're not going to find anything about the I.S. units in here."
"I highly doubt that. We might find something useful. Get him up and take him with us." A soldier ordered the other two. They tried to take him, but Wade fought back as he kicked the two back and stood up, but one of those soldiers moved fast as they smashed his weapon against his head and knocked him back to the floor. "Big mistake!" He aimed his gun and was ready to kill him, but he was miraculously saved. Lita attacked them without warning and knocked all three of them down.
"Lita! You're awake!" Wade said as he was glad to see his sister. He turned to where she was and saw the whole was busted open for her to get out. "I'm not sure what to think of what you just did."
"You're...welcome..." Lita said, but she dropped to her knees. She was still weakened from what happened and needed help. Wade hurried over to her and helped her up. "Take me... Take me to..."
"I know. We're going, but we have to be careful. There's enemies everywhere." Wade said as he helped Lita out and took her out of there to meet with the others.
...
Sakyo
As for Sakyo, he was watching the madness unfold. He stood at the top of a building and continued to watch those beneath him go to work. He had a good view of the academy being attacked and watched things unfold.
"It will soon be done." Sakyo said. "The school will fall... The world will begin anew... You thought you could stop me, I.S. Academy, but you're about to see how wrong you were. A noble cause like this will win in the end, no matter how powerful you believe you are." Sakyo believes he has this won. All that is left is to finish those who would dare oppose him. If things continue the way they do, perhaps that is what will happen.
...
The Academy
Davis and the others were trying to hold out against the invading forces. The school in lockdown was helping, but it's only a matter of time until Rogue Nirvana finds a way to get inside. Rogue Nirvana continues to take it's stand, but it must be stopped.
"Tell me you know where Sakyo Qilin is." Davis said as he wanted a piece of him.
"Not yet, but finding and defeating him might be the only way this ends." Chifuyu said. "Since Sakyo Qilin is the head, it's vital that he's defeated. Especially since he's rallied his troops and got the second wind."
"If defeating the four elite of this army wasn't enough, how is defeating this guy going to make any difference?" T.K. said.
"Sakyo Qilin is the one in charge of everything, the head of Rogue Nirvana." Davis said. "He's the one that formed all of this."
"I get it. Defeat this Sakyo, you defeat all of Rogue Nirvana. The soldiers will loose the last person that is leading them." Cody understood. "No leader, no way for them to fight back."
"And that's what we're going to do. When I get my hands on him, he is going down so hard." Davis said.
"Motomiya, take it easy." Chifuyu said. "Defeating Sakyo Qilin is important, but have you already forgotten what happened the last time you faced him. If his Shadow Unit didn't overheat, you surely wouldn't be standing before us. His Monarch must certainly be stronger than last time. If you go charging in without any sort of plan, we could all be placed in danger."
"I know..." Davis said. "Sakyo Qilin is a powerful opponent. He's been one stead ahead of us the whole time. That's why I have to beat him, bring him down." Davis knows what he's getting into, but he's willing to jump in and take the risk. "Sure, his Shadow Unit is powerful, but I'm not going to make the same mistakes. I'm not just going to charge blindly in."
"Davis, what exactly are you saying?" Veemon said.
"I'm saying that Sakyo has to be brought down, but I want to be the one to do it. I'm really the only one who can." Davis said.
"But you haven't recovered from your last fight." Houki said.
"So what? I'm not just going to sit here, run and hide, or whatever." Davis. "Sakyo has to be stopped and I'm ready. Chifuyu, I know you think I'm just acting rash and reckless, but I'm going after Sakyo and I'm going to put an end to all of this." Davis is practically saying he wants another shot at Sakyo, a chance to finish things once and for all.
"Sakyo Qilin might not think you're tough stuff, but I do." Chifuyu said as she thinks Davis can handle it. "Kanzashi Sarashiki, how soon can you clear Dragonic Heaven of malware like Motomiya said?"
"Not long." Kanzashi said.
"Great. Sakyo, I'm coming for you." Davis said as he was ready for him this time. Sakyo might have got his troops back in the fight, but Davis is still going for him. Rogue Nirvana made a comeback, now Davis is going to do the same.
...
Davis: Next time, we're aiming for Sakyo himself. It's time to put an end to this once and for all, but it's not going to be easy. Sakyo is incredibly strong, and his Monarch has had some serious improvements. If he wants a fight so badly, I'm going to give him one.
Next time: Sakyo's Assault
No more games. This is going to end here and now.
