Authors Notes- And here I am back yet again with yet another chapter to Getting Under Her Armor. And as you already know I don't own Transformers that belongs to Hasbro. I only own the plot. Now that we got that out of the way here is Chapter Four.

Chapter Four: Cave In

This wasn't how he expected his day to turn out. Bulkhead thought, pain lancing through his body. Energon spilling down his chin as he struggled to his feet, only to be knocked down once more by Dreadwing. Sparks flew from various wounds on the wreckers body as he hit the ground. The Decepticon circled him. A predatory glint in his optics.

"I see that you still function, persistent for an Autobot." Dreadwing commented. However before he could continue he perked up when his audios caught something behind him.

Looking over his shoulder, he caught movement behind him. A thrill running up his spinal strut as the corner of his mouth turned upwards. Obvious the little yellow scout who had slipped his grasp before had foolishly returned to save his friend. And if the fearful look in the wreckers optics was any indication, was currently trying to sneak up on him as he spoke. Dreadwing had to admit the little scout had some pretty big bearings. But it would all be for nothing as he whirled around, cannon aimed at the scout. Who stood before Dreadwing, blue optics narrowed, streaks of energon marring the scouts yellow and black armor.

Much like Bulkhead, he was looking a little worst for wear, the young Autobot was barely able to stay on his feet as he aimed his blaster at Dreadwing. Who only smirked at his pitiful efforts.

"Bumblebee, no! Run!" Bulkhead shouted. "Go! Get out of here!" Panic tinted Bulkhead's voice as he said this just as Dreadwing fired on the scout.

A scowl etched on Dreadwing's face as Bumblebee managed to dodge out of the way. The blast hitting the rocky wall behind him, sending debris tumbling down on their heads. Letting out an enraged growl Dreadwing turned to where the scout had ducked behind several empty energon cubes. Obviously the scout was running out of ideas, and energy as Dreadwing fired on him once again. Bumblebee was sent flying as the blast caught him square in the back, knocking him to the ground. Groaning in pain, Bumblebee struggled to get up. But Dreadwing's heavy foot on his already injured back prevented that from happening.

"How...unfortunate for you Autobots." Dreadwing spoke.

Earning a cold glare from Bumblebee, as he looked up at him. The Decepticons cannon aimed at him, primed and ready to snuff the Autobots spark out at a moments notice.

"No doubt you two thought your little mission would be nothing more than simple energon scouting. I bet you never thought you would stumble across this." Dreadwing crouched down before the little scout. Reaching into his subspace the Decepticon pulled out a data pad Bumblebee had discovered when the two of them had explored the cave.

With a whine Bumblebee reached for the data pad Dreadwing held out, only to have him snatch it away from him. Dreadwing smirked as he tucked the data pad away in his sub space once more.

"With this bit of information we'll put this war back in the Decepticons favor." Dreadwing straightened. Cannon aimed at Bumblebee once more. "So, on behalf of the Decepticons I thank you."

This was it, Bumblebee thought, as he offlined his optics. After everything he had been through, everything he had endured this was the end of the line for him. Sorry Optimus, Bumblebee thought. Bulkhead's voice in the background shouting at Dreadwing to let him go, and the all too familiar hum as Dreadwing prepared to fire on him.

This was where his story ended. Bumblebee thought, images of Raf flashing through his mind. He hoped the human boy would find it in his heart to forgive him for dying,

*Sorry, Raf.* He whispered.

"You think the Decepticons are trying to keep us from something?" Wheeljack asked, blaster still smoking as the last of the vehicons dropped to the ground before him, visor dimming as its life ebbed away.

Arcee looked over her shoulder at him. He did seem to have a point, it did seem like that was the case. Something that seemed to put Arcee in a bad mood, as no matter where they turned they ran into vehicon after vehicon. And still found no sign of either Bumblebee or Bulkhead, that is until the duo stumbled across a cave.

Arcee stopped, now they were getting somewhere. The bodies of several vehicons lay prone all around them, as the two moved towards the cave entrance. Arcee stopping when she heard blaster fire, her fuel pump skipping a beat as she and Wheeljack raced towards the entrance. And not a moment too soon as they entered the cave they saw Dreadwing looming over Bumblebee.

"Bumblebee!" Arcee shouted, getting Dreadwing's attention, the large Decepticon turning towards the newcomers. A scowl etched on his face plate.

Obviously upset that they had interrupted him, just as he had been about to snuff Bumblebee's spark. Off to the side lay an equally damaged Bulkhead.

"Well, well it looks like a few more have joined our little party." Dreadwing commented.

However, before Arcee could utter a word, let alone raise her blaster Wheeljack shot out ahead of her as Dreadwing fired off a blast. The blast itself going wide as Wheeljack drew his blades and lunged at Dreadwing. Arcee watched as the wrecker slammed into the Decepticon, leaving her to rush to Bulkhead and Bumblebee's aid.

Concern shining in her optics as Bumblebee looked up at her. Relief shining in his optics as he gripped her arm.

*Cee,* Bumblebee choked out, Arcee quietly shushed him before a pained groan caught her her attention.

Looking up Arcee watched as Bulkhead somehow managed to unsteadily to his feet. And move to where the two of them were.

*Ar...cee...* Bumblebbe choked out again, this time gripping her arm with enough force to nearly dent as he pulled her closer. An urgent look flickering in his optics. *D-Dreadwing has vital on a Decepticon ship-*

However, before he could finish that sentence Dreadwing tossed Wheeljack away from him, his own blade drawn as he charged at the wrecker. His sword slicing into Wheeljack's side. Energon spilling from the wound as Dreadwing drove his knee into his midsection. Watching as Wheeljack dropped to his knees the Decepticon turned to where Arcee was. The blue femme glaring at the Decepticon as he closed the distance between them. A cold smile on his lips.

"Today had been a good day." Dreadwing said, his optics glowing in the darkness of the cave. "I discover vital information about a Decepticon ship, and I get to snuff out the sparks of four of Prime's Autobots. Today is a very good day."

Arcee snarled as she fired on Dreadwing as he continued to advance. "If you think I'll go down that easily 'Con. You're sorely mistaken."

Dreadwing chuckled as one of the blasts grazed his face plate. "That is one thing I've always admired about you Autobots. Is your refusal to die." He said, as he charged at her, blade drawn once more.

Slashing at Arcee he growled as the smaller Autobot leaped out of the way, and continued to fire on him. Dreadwing crying out as a well placed blast struck him in his right optic. Completely shattering it. Energon dribbling down his face plate as he charged at her once more. His blade catching her in the shoulder, crying out Arcee glared up at him as he loomed over her. However, unbeknownst to Dreadwing, Wheeljack was slowly getting to his feet once more.

A cold look in the Autobots optics as he looked to Dreadwing, who had Arcee cornered. Letting out an enraged scream Wheeljack lunged at Dreadwing. His own blades into Dreadwing's back, making him cry out. Growling, Dreadwing knew he should have extinguished when he had the chance back when had first arrived on Earth. But no matter, Dreadwing thought as he fought through the pain, and turned to face the wrecker.

Firing his cannon, he managed to catch Wheeljack square in the chest. Sending him flying, and crashing into the wall behind him. A pained groan sounding from the wrecker as he slumped to the ground in a lifeless heap. A satisfied sigh escaped Dreadwing as he turned back to Arcee, intent on ending her life. When he had second thoughts. He had already spent too much time away from the Decepticon base. Lord Megatron was no doubt getting impatient awaiting his return.

And when he did, Dreadwing thought, a smile creeping to his face plate once more as he thought back to what he, or rather the Autobots had discovered. Pulling out the data pad once more he scanned the contents once more, as Arcee struggled to her feet once more.

Here on this cesspit of a planet there was evidence of another Decepticon ship crash landing here. The Reckoning laying dormant somewhere here. And as Dreadwing continued to scan the date pad he discovered that on said ship lay a weapon that would turn the tides of this war. And leave the Decepticons victorious. And with most of the Autobots down for the count finding The Reckoning should be a breeze.

But before he took his leave, Dreadwing had one final farewell gift for the Autobots laying damaged within the cave. As he walked out he activated the explosives he had stuck to the cave walls before Arcee and Wheeljack interrupted him. A cold smile on his lips as he transformed as several loud explosions sounded. And the cave came crumbling down on their heads. And as he stuck around to watch this, he had to admit if any of them managed to survive he wouldn't be all that surprised.

Autobots could be rather tenacious. Without another word Dreadwing flew off, leaving destruction behind.

Could today get any worst? Arcee thought as she managed to cover her head as the cave came crashing down on them. First they got the scrap kicked out of them, and now they were trapped.

Trapped. Groaning Arcee picked herself up, but not without a little...Okay, a lot of difficulty, as pain radiated through various parts of her chassis. Energon marring her features as she scanned the area, and saw nothing but rubble until-

"Bumblebee!" She gasped, catching sight of the scouts hand sticking out of the rubble.

Biting down on her bottom lip, she bit back a string of curses as she managed to uncover him. Bumblebee's optics flickering as they focused on her.

*...'Cee...* He managed, gripping her arm once more. Energon stained the scouts face plate as he pulled her close, a frantic look in his optics. *You must tell Optimus...The...Decepticons...*

However, before Arcee could get anymore out of him Bumblebee slipped into stasis. "Bumblebee!" Arcee choked out, giving him a shake, but still he didn't rouse.

Don't worry. A voice whispered in the back of her head. He's still alive. He won't die here. Nodding to herself she gently placed Bumblebee back down, and got to her feet once more, and looked around. Noting that the entire entrance was caved in, preventing them from leaving, let alone contacting Autobots base. At least she now knew why she didn't hear from Bulkhead or Bumblebee. Worrying at her bottom lip once more she told Bumblebee that she would come back for him as she moved to find the others. Hoping that the others were still alive, and that they would somehow find away out of here...

Authors Notes- And thus, this is the conclusion of Chapter Four. I hope you liked it, it was a bit actiony but there is nothing wrong with that. And sorry, about the meh ending had on idea how to end it. But yeah this is The Exhausted Writing signing off, see you again soon.

P.S. I would also like to thank my friend MadnessJones for helping me name the Decepticon ship. I had a bitch of a time finding a name for it.
