Third Person's POV

Friday After School

"I'll see you at the party today, don't be late" Lydia states and walks off while also dragging Jackson with her. But he manages a 'see you later' and the rest reply back. After a bit of walking and talking, they break to go their separate ways.

Argent's house

Allison walks into her house and calls out a 'Am home'.

"Welcome back sweaty go change and come down to eat the food will be ready in 15 minutes so be quick. Your father will be late today the sheriff called and he has to meet him again." Victoria says and goes back to the kitchen to prepare the side dishes. With a 'okay' Allison runs up to the stairs and to her room. She comes back and takes a chair at the dining table. She waits for her mom to finish and eat together. Having finished the food Victoria joins Allison at the table and begins to eat while doing some small talk. So Allison begins.

"Um, mom do you remember the party I told you about that is going on today?"

"Yes, and you said you didn't want to go"

"Yeah, about that, I'm going" Allison says and takes a bite out of her food trying and failing to hide how nervous she was about it. Seeing that her mother wasn't saying anything and just staring at her she quickly adds.

"It's Lydia's party and all the friends a made at school we be there too. I promise I will be back before 12 and won't touch the drinks please?" and gives her a begging face. After a minute of silence, Victoria finally breaks it.

"What kind of party is it? And with who you going there?" "Well, most of the school will be there so a big one? it's for the beginning of the school and the lacrosse scrimmage, as for who, well a boy asked me the other day and I said yes" said Allison averting her eyes from her mother.

"Do I know him?" "I- No he's on the team and looks like he works part-time at the animal clinic."

"What about the boy from next door?" "Nate? He is going to do you believe this will be his first time ever going to a party?"

"Did he say why?" "He said it was because of the moving so much he didn't have time to make new friends or be invited."

"Okay, you can go, but I want to talk with Nathaniel to make sure you come back in time" Allison brightens up at the first map but whines a 'Momm" about the second one. She didn't want someone to watch her over at the party she could be responsible.

"If you want to go this is how it going to happen," Victoria says harshly and Allison sighs with an 'Okay'.

"I'll tell him to drop by before he goes."

After they are done with food, they pick up the dishes and Allison runs to her room to do some homework and prepare for the party.

You can see people flock to Lydia's house for the party. Nate is going over to Argents after he got the message from Allison saying her mother wanted to talk about something she was vague about it. Ringing the bell Victoria opens the door.

"Hello Nathaniel how are you doing today?"

"Hello to you too Mrs. Argent, What about you? Allison said you wanted to talk to me?"

"Ah Yes, Allison said you are going to the party and I wanted to ask you if you could look out for Allison and make sure she gets back before 12 can you do that?"

"I-I mean sure, I can do that no problem" a little bewildered by the sudden request but he didn't mind.

"Good I hope you don't end up wasted and forget about it" Victoria says and tries to catch any kind of signal of him lying as he tells her that.

"Don't worry Mrs. Argent I don't drink alcohol beside a have to drive."

"Okay then, thank you, and have a good time" Nate manages a 'good night" before Victoria goes back to the house.

"Hey Nate see you at the party, and you look nice" Allion says to him from the living room where she is waiting for Scott.

"Thank you, you look nice too, and see you there bye" Nate replies and grins at her and leaves. We see him drive away when Scott pulls up to the curb outside Allison's house. He keeps taking deep breaths. He pulls his inhaler out, shakes it up, looks at it and then tosses it in the back. Finally, the front door of the house opens and Allison steps out. Looking absolutely stunning under the glow of the streetlights, she approaches the car while pushing a strand of hair from her eyes. Suddenly realizing he's still in the car with his mouth hanging open, Scott scrambles to get out and open the door for her.

Driving. Scott and Allison sit in silence. Absolute and agonizing silence.

"Is it okay if I turn on the radio?" Allison asks.

"Uh, yes. But you can't." she gives him a confused look. "Sorry, it's broken. We've been meaning to get it fixed."

"No worries. You mind if I put on some music anyway?" Now it's Scott's turn to give a confused look. But Allison has her phone out. She turns the volume up and puts it on speaker.

Nate goes for the bell of Lydia's house when it opens and sees Lydia.

"Well, the new guy is here, hello Nate come in the bars by the pool"

"Hello Lydia, the party looks awesome good work" "Of course" and she drags him in. He sees people all holding a drink in their hands, some play beer pong, some are talking, some dance and others just make out without a care. He tries to mingle in the crowd, girls come over to flirt with him and one or two guys give it a try, he talks to them. They exchange stories, flirt, and dance a little nothing serious, Nate generally enjoys the party.

Car doors open on all sides. Teenagers pour out from Range Rovers and BMWs outside the music rattled windows of Lydia Martin's house. When Scott and Allison climb the steps to the house, the door swings open to reveal Lydia.

"Well, if it isn't the new star player with my new best friend. I was hoping you'd come." Scott stares at her, dumbfounded. Then, trying to be as subtle as possible, he glances behind him. No one was there. Lydia is, in fact, talking to him. She opens the door wide for both of them. Pleasantly stunned, Scott follows Allison inside the house. As they walk inside, they hear Lydia. "Bar's by the pool."

They see Teenagers jam the outside of the house by the pool. Some already drunk, some high. Scott and Allison walk through the crowd. Allison looking around notices Nate talking to some girls and guys. Nate also sees Allison look at him so hi smile and waves at her she does the same. After that, he occasionally glances over Allison to keep his promise with her mother.

Scott pauses when he hears- A dog barking. A huge rottweiler in the yard next door just beyond a chain link fence. And it's barking at Derek. He stands behind the fire pit, staring straight at Scott. But then he shoots a look at the Rottweiler. The dog stops barking instantly.

Eyes locked on the animal; Derek gives an almost imperceptible nod. Tail between its legs, the Rottweiler submissively lowers to a sitting position. Satisfied, Derek turns back to a surprised Scott.

"You, okay?" Allison asks.

"What? Oh... Yeah. Fine." Scott answers.

When he looks back, Derek is gone. Movement catches his eye and he glances up to- the roof of the pool house - where a shadowy figure seems to disappear just past the chimney. Scott steps back, trying to see if he actually did just witness Derek leaping twenty feet off the ground. But there's nothing there. And Allison is holding her hand out to him. Letting his fear go, Scott takes her hand with a smile. In the crowd, they start dancing. As they come closer and closer, as Allison starts to smile back at him, the usually timid Scott begins to let go. His hands reach around her waist with the other teens pushing them closer. Bodies pressed against each other, her cheek brushes lightly against his.

Then through the crowd, Scott notices Lydia dancing with Jackson, grinding close to him, her fingers wrapped around the back of his neck. She presses her lips to Jackson's locking him in a passionate kiss. As he eagerly kisses her back, sliding his hands down past her waist, Lydia opens her eyes. And looks right at Scott.

Staring at him as Jackson goes at her neck. Unused to the attention of one beautiful girl, much less two, Scott finds himself dumbstruck until the bodies of the dancing teens push together to leave him alone with Allison again. As Scott peers into her eyes, for a second it almost looks as though they're about to kiss. Then the music begins driving faster, starting to sound almost like the quickening of a heartbeat. Scott's heartbeat. The sounds around him intensify. His fingers clench back, veins at the surface of his hands as he presses against the fabric of Allison's shirt. His upper lip pulls up momentarily to reveal a sharpened incisor. Lights glaring in his eyes, Scott's breathing tightens, sweat at his temples. He steps back, pulling away from her.

"Sorry... I... I'll be right back." Scott says. "Are you okay?" But he hurries past her and into the house. Teeth clenched a sudden wave of pain slams, Scott, back against the wall, tremors shuddering through his body. Waiting in line for the bathroom, Harley notices him.

"Scott? You all right?" But he doesn't answer, pushing through the crowd, trying to find an exit out of the house. Finally, shoving past people, he charges out the front door.

When Scott turns the corner, he glances up to the sky where the full moon shines brilliantly in the night. Gasps now starting to sound like animalistic growls, he reaches his mother's car. Just getting the keys from his pocket seems like an almost colossal effort. A second later, the car tears away from the curb as- Allison comes out of Lydia's house, looking around. No idea where Scott is. Nate also follows her after seeing what happened. He left her stranded at the party as he was on her way back home.

"Allison." She turns to see Derek coming toward her.

"I'm a friend of Scott's. My name's Derek." He steps under the street light his deep black eyes, strangely hypnotic. Stiles catches a glimpse of that as he runs to his car to follow Scott.

"Really, do you know why he run out like crazy and leave her alone?" Derek and Allison Hear a voice from behind. They look and see Nate walking toward them

"No, he didn't, he told me if I could drive Allison to her house that's all." Derek says with a smile.

"Oh, okay then, I got that covered I drive her we live next door to each other so I take her home," Nate says, takes hold of Allison's hand, and drags her over to his car. They get inside and he drives. Now Derek has to think of something else he was hoping to get something of Allison so he could drag Scott away from the town and into the preserve, But wait a minute she wasn't wearing her jacket anymore, this could work.

While in the car Allison looks confused and a little sad about what happened or why it happened. She couldn't think what went wrong.

"You alright?" "I-I mean ye- I don't understand what happened one second, we have this moment and we are about to kiss and the next he pulls away a little his face sours like he is in pain and then he leaves staggering left and right." She says as she couldn't get her words right at first.

"I forgot my jacket at Lydia's great," she says as she remembers about her jacket.

"Hey, don't worry about the jacket text Lydia to bring it over at school."

"Yeah, you're right"

At McCall's House

Scott stumbles into his darkened room, slamming the door shut and flipping the lock. Sweat at his brow, Scott charges into the bathroom. He flips the cold water knob on the shower, letting it pour over him. And then he notices something... HIS fingernails. Seeming to tear free, bone-like claws pushing them out from the tips. Terrified, he stumbles out and to the mirror where he wipes away the steam to reveal rapidly growing fangs and two glowing, yellow eyes staring back at him. Someone pounds on the door to his room.

"Go away!" "Scott, it's me" stiles answers. Hearing the panic in his friend's voice, he pulls himself up. He unlocks the door but only allows it to open an inch.

"Let me in, Scott I can help-" "No." Eyes burning YELLOW, he stays hidden behind the door, face shrouded in darkness as Stiles tries to peer through.

"Listen, you have to find Allison." "She's fine. She's totally fine."

"Stiles, I think I know who it is." "Just let me in and we can talk."

"It's Derek. Derek Hale's the werewolf. He's the one who bit me. He's the one who killed the girl in the woods." Stiles answers with shocked silence. Until-

"Scott... Allison was with Derek the last time I saw her" The weight of realization falling on him, Scott slams the door shut, locking it.

"Scott! Scott, wait-"

Through the open bedroom window, Scott launches himself out from the second story the full moon looming in the sky behind him, his hands slam down on the wet pavement revealing that what we'd just seen was the reflection of his leaping figure in a puddle. Now, Scott's crouched figure slowly draws up to reveal he's no longer struggling against the transformation. He's given into it. He takes off running in search of Allison and the danger she faces.

At Argent's House

Stiles's jeep skids to a halt just outside Allison's darkened house. A second later, he's on the steps ringing the bell. Stiles now pounding on the door, finally stops when lights come on inside. The door clicks open. MRS. ARGENT looks out, confused.

"Hi. I'm a friend of Allison's and this is going to sound kind of crazy. Actually, really crazy. Actually, crazy doesn't even begin to-"

"Allison? It's for you!" Victoria calls back inside. Stiles opens his mouth to speak again but then stops, utterly shocked to see Allison coming down the stairs.

"What's up?" As a distant howl can be heard, Stiles turns to the sound, a look of understanding coming over him... It's not Allison Derek was after. It's Scott.
