Stain quickly made his way towards Deku, who leaned back in order to dodge the slash from the serrated sword, swinging his makeshift flail at the Hero Killer, who caught it without breaking a sweat. He retaliated with a headbutt instead, breaking what was left of the killer's nose, but this did little to get a reaction from Stain, who merely grinned at the young hero-in-training's resolve. "That's it! Show me what you got!" He exclaimed before slamming his knee into Deku's solar plexus and knocking the wind out of his lungs. The green-haired young man barely fell for a second before he was hit in the face, sending him a few feet away as he felt a blade make a laceration on his cheek.

Looking up from where he landed, Deku saw Stain lift the bloodied part of his blade towards his mouth. He may not know what was going on, but Midoriya's intuition quickly warned him that Stain's quirk most likely relied on ingesting blood. Acting quickly, he swung his flail at Stain's hand, knocking it off-balance and causing him to jump back a bit. Making his way towards the serial killer, Midoriya kept swinging his flail from side-to-side, constantly aiming at the blade to ensure that Stain wouldn't be given a chance to use his quirk. Eventually, one of the swings caused the flail to wrap itself around the blade, allowing Midoriya to yank it and its owner towards him, allowing him to deliver a powerful strike.

At least, that was the plan. Instead, Stain dodged the punch and rammed his forehead to Midoriya's face, and as if that wasn't enough, he used the momentary distraction to gnaw at the young man's forehead, scraping off a bit of skin and blood. That was when Midoriya felt his body freeze in place before he collapsed to heap on the floor. He tried to move his arms, but he wasn't able to budge himself at all. Nothing was responding to his thoughts but his face, which was currently in a state of shock as realization set in. "You fought well, Deku." Stain said as he looked down on the green hero with a strange hint of pride in his eyes and voice. "You did your best, like a true hero would."

Izuku didn't care, however, instead opting to try and extend his neck and bite at the killer, failing to reach as Stain merelt shuffled his feet away. "Even now, you still try to fight!" He laughed out loud. "Under any other circumstance, I would've let you continue to fight, but unfortunately, I have to contend with other matters right now. Perhaps in the future, when you become a hero like All Might, we might have a rematch."

"Sorry, but if you wanna have a rematch with him, you better hope to make it through me!" A loud voice called out, grabbing the attention of Izuku, Stain, and Tenya before a figure dropped down from the rooftop towards the Hero Killer. In a white flash, the figure kicked at Stain several times, each hit narrowly being blocked by his blade before he was sent sliding away from one last kick from Miruko, the Rabbit Heroine. "So how about we go a round or two, huh, bud?"

Seeing the heroine made Izuku's eyes widen in awe, but made Stain's eyes narrow in disgust. "Ah, yes, the Rabbit Heroine. A fake hero who only fights for the sake of fighting, regardless of-" He began to go on another tirade only for Miruko to close the distance between them with a devastating ax-kick, which he blocked with his forearms, earning a cracking noise from them before he swiped at the heroine, who flipped onto the ground before delivering blows to the killer's sword. Each kick was blocked with the blade, but Stain knew that it was only a matter of time before one of two things happened: either one, she got a hit in and started pushing him, or two, he gets a slice in and paralyzes her, giving him the opportunity to kill her and the fake Ingenium in one swoop.

Fate seemed to favor the former option, as Miruko then did something unexpected: she threw a punch at the Hero Killer's shoulder, dislocating it and causing him to drop his sword. As he held his arm and gritted his teeth in pain, Miruko took the brief opportunity to look back at Izuku and Tenya. "You kids better get out of here, ya hear?!" She yelled out. "Leave this one to me!"

"We can't!" Izuku cried out. "It's his quirk! He drinks your blood and paralyzes you! That's how it works! I don't know what weakness it may have!"

"You figured it out that quickly, huh, Deku? I suppose that you're like me and Miruko here…" Stain said as he reset his shoulder and reached for the sides of his abdomen. "You're more than just a one-trick pony!" Yelling out that last word, he pulled out two large daggers, dashing towards the rabbit woman with a crazed expression on his face. The heroine merely jumped over him, but the reduced weight of his daggers allowed him to quickly spin around to slash at his opponent's back. The gamble worked, slicing through Miruko's outfit and making a small gash in her back, but that was all he needed to get enough blood for his quirk to work.

However, Miruko wasn't going to let that happen yet, and performed a roundhouse kick at the blade, narrowly missing Stain's tongue as he began to clash once again with the heroine, who kept delivering blow after blow. Thanks to his blades, however, the villain was able to keep up much easier with Miruko, dodging some of her attacks as he retaliated with some attacks of his own, trying to slice at the heroine. The technique shown was that of two experts doing their best to finish the fight quickly, wasting little energy in their movements, yet neither willing to surrender easily, but for Stain, it was imperative that he finish his fight quickly, not just to conserve stamina, but for his quirk's limitations as well.

As the fight continued, Izuku and Tenya watched from their positions on the ground in awe, realizing the difference in skill between them and the two combatants in front of their eyes. The difference was so vast, it was almost amusing how they thought that they could come close to what was going on in front of them.

But Midoriya was not one to surrender so easily, either, as he tried to move his body to go and help Miruko. He felt the need to get involved in the fight somehow, to try and help take down Stain. He swung his arm forwards in frustration, angry at himself for letting himself get hit with Stain's quirk during the fight. He should've-!

His train of thought was interrupted when he realized something. He was able to move his arm now. He realized that he could feel his muscles moving again! The paralysis was temporary! "Midoriya, you can move again?!" He heard Tenya call out, causing him to turn his head towards his friend. "You can't? His quirk is still affecting you?" He asked.

"I think his quirk varies from person to person!" Iida stated. "Just try to hold out until the effects wear off of me!" With a nod, Izuku dashed towards the fight, activating Full Cowling to ensure a hit that knocked Stain a few feet away, knocking him out of the flow of combat. Miruko blinked in surprise before she turned towards the green-wearing man. "Hey, kid! I thought I told you to get out of here!" She exclaimed to him, only for Izuku to stand his ground as he looked at Stain with a strange fire in his eyes. "I can't let him out of my sight until he can't hurt anyone anymore! Besides, it'll be easier to take him down if we work together!" Was his reply, surprising the heroine and earning a proud laugh from the killer.

"That's right! Show me what you have, Deku!" Stain yelled out before he ran towards the hero duo, slashing at the pair as they redirected his attacks, almost getting cut as the villain kept swinging his daggers at them. The duo kept dodging and blocking his swings and stabbings, narrowly avoiding getting their skin pierced by the twin blades, with Miruko just barely stopping one of the daggers from piercing her face. Stain tried to push the blade into her cheek, but the heroine's surprising arm strength won over, allowing her to knock his arm to the side as she delivered a powerful haymaker to his chest, cracking his ribs and knocking the air out of him.

Izuku got in close with his flail, whipping it from side-to-side and dealing some damage until he heard the sounds of an engine begging to rev itself up. Looking back, he saw that Tenya had picked himself back up, his engines releasing steam before he looked towards Stain. "Recipro Burst!" The second-generation Ingenium yelled out before he rocketed towards the fight. Getting out of the way, Izuku watched as his friend delivered a kick to the side of Stain's abdomen, knocking him back before the sounds of ice forming was heard. Apparently, the villain also heard the noise, as he jumped into the air to avoid getting his feet caught in the rapidly formed ice, courtesy of Shoto Todoroki, who had just arrived at the scene.

"You have a strange way of sending emergency messages, Midoriya." The dual-color boy said as he activated his flames to melt the ice. "Of all the villains, you just had to meet and fight Stain, didn't you?"

"Well, things will be easier with you and Iida around, Todoroki!" Izuku replied with a smile as he saw Miruko look towards the trio.

"Alright, you punks can join in, just try to not get in my way!" She called out as she dashed towards Stain, avoiding a swing of his dagger as she began to deliver a flurry of kicks. Despite the ferocity of her attacks, Stain forced himself to keep up as he retaliated with his own strikes, sometimes landing a punch to the face, sometimes a kick to her shins. Each strike was accentuated with an attempted stab to the heroine, but such attack was difficult against an opponent as agile and strong as Miruko, especially with her being aided by Deku and Tenya, who were dealing damage to him whilst he wasn't looking, Deku with a combination of his flail and quirk-enhanced strength, and Tenya with his punches and quirk-enhanced kicks.

Things got harder as the heroine and students leaped back, allowing Shoto to get close with a ball of ice in one hand and fire in the other, which he smashed together to create a cloud of steam that temporarily blinded the killer. As Stain dashed away from the steam to reorient his eyes, the distraction was good enough to allow Midoriya to use his flail, this time, wrapping it around the villain's wrist and pull on it, causing him to drop one of the daggers he had on hand as Tenya then grabbed the other arm, doing the same. As Stain struggled to wrestle himself out of the pair's grasp, he failed to react in time to the devastating kick from Miruko, who took the opportunity to knock him out cold, at long last, ending the fight.

As the Hero Killer was knocked down, the group panted in exhaustion, their bodies finally realizing how tired they were getting from such a fight. As Izuku and Tenya let go of Stain's unconscious body, they fell to the ground, trying to catch their breaths as Shoto walked up towards them. "Are you guys alright?" He asked the pair.

"Yes… We are… Alright, Todoroki." Tenya wheezed out. "We just need… a bit of rest."

"You punks can rest up after we haul this bastard to a cell!" Miruko exclaimed as the familiar fire in her eyes lit up again. "We managed to catch the Hero Killer! That's a pretty big deal, if you ask me!"

With a unified groan, Izuku and Tenya picked themselves back up before lifting Stain from the ground and making their way out of the alleyway. As they walked out, they saw a few heroes arriving at the scene, some that were immediately recognized. "Deku/Tenya/SHOTO!" The students' respective teachers yelled out before they stopped at the sight of Stain and Miruko. "Wait, is that Stain? You guys actually got Stain?" Manual asked.

"More importantly, what are you doing here, Miruko?" Endeavor asked the Rabbit Heroine gruffly. "You weren't stationed anywhere near here, so why are you?"

"I saw the action on the news and wanted to get in on it!" She stated to the flaming hero before turning towards Midoriya. "I also came because some redhead asked me to find the green bean there, to make sure he was safe, ya know?"

Hearing this, Midoriya's mind began racing as he tried to think of a redhead before realizing that he only knows one. "Was the redhead a woman? Dressed in a blue T-Shirt, brown coat, cargo pants and green shoes? Did she have beautiful reddish eyes?"

Inwardly chuckling at the slip, Miruko continued. "That's the one. She mentioned that she was worried about you."

"Enough about his crush now." Endeavor said, causing Izuku to blush as he realized what came out of his mouth before the #2 Hero continued. "Regardless, it's time that we take this animal," he gestured towards the still unconscious Stain. "To where he belongs."

As the group came to an agreement, with some minor scolding from Gran Torino to Deku, things quickly turned sideways as a Nomu came down from above and picked up the green-haired young man with its feet. As quickly as it came down, it began to fly up into the air, causing a wave of panic amongst the group. Before they could react, however, a blade cut through the air and embedded itself in the creature's brain, killing it almost instantly. Deku began to fall down, but was caught by the least likely person to do so before they landed on the ground and he was tossed back towards the group, who stared at Stain as he growled like a rabid animal.

"He won't die here. I refuse to let a hero like him die in such a manner!" Stain snarled as a wave of killing intent washed over the area. The effect was instantaneous, as Miruko's ears drooped in fear, Endeavor's flames dimmed almost completely, and everyone's breaths became labored. "Out of all of you, Deku is the closest thing to a true hero, unlike you, Endeavor! You, who is the fakest of them all!"

He turned his head up, his eyes completely blank before he yelled. "AND I REFUSE TO LET MY MISSION END! UNTIL I DIE, I WILL NEVER STOP! AND THE ONLY ONE ALLOWED TO KILL ME IS ALL MIGHT!"

Almost immediately, the killing intent disappeared, as had the wave of despair that emanated from Stain. "He… He's completely out cold…" Gran Torino muttered in realization. "He was so angry, he brought himself out of his unconscious state before he passed out completely!"

As the realization that he almost died settled into the recesses of his mind, Endeavor merely said, "Let's just get him out of here. We're done with the other Nomus, anyways."

Lenore couldn't help but sigh as she felt a wave of exhaustion wash over her. For the past few hours, she felt a sensation of worry, but she did not know why. She figured that it was because she was worried for Izuku, but she shouldn't be, after all, she did see that heroine make her way to help him, and if the comments from the public were to be believed, that heroine was the #5 ranked hero in Japan. Surely, she could help Midoriya, right? She was skilled enough to handle whatever came her way, right? Of course she was.

And yet, she still felt worried for the young man. For some reason, she felt as if he needed more help than let on. That there was some kind of danger after him, and she won't feel any better until she was sure of his safety!

As if on cue, one of the many screens around her changed to a broadcast about the situation in Hosu City, but one blurb stood out against the rest of the news. The Hero Killer Stain was finally captured. All thanks to the efforts of Miruko, and three UA Students on their internship.

As the pictures revealed said students, Lenore couldn't help but form a relieved smile on her face, happy to see that Izuku was alive. However, she did furrowed her eyebrows as the news went on to state that he was going to be at the Hosu General Hospital for recovery. She knew that the life of a hero would involve harm, but what kind of harm did Izuku go through?

Realizing that worrying wasn't going to fix things, Lenore allowed herself to be content with Izuku being in a hospital with doctors ensuring that he'd recover. They'd know what to do to heal him.

With that, she made her way down the street, though she did make a plan to visit him in the upcoming days, before she went to find the bookstore that would probably be holding the book signing Morana was involved in. But for that plan to work, she'd need a copy of the book her sister wrote. What was it called again? "Moonlit Melody?" Yes, that was it.

Hosu General Hospital

"So, that's that, huh?" Detective Naomasa said to Police Chief Kenji. "Even if they did get into a fight with the Hero Killer without their mentors, Miruko did technically give them permission to join in when she fought him, thus, they were given approval of a Pro."

"Unfortunately, yes." The police chief barked out. "Though it's a pain to count technicalities, thanks in no small part to the vagueness of the details and extra paperwork, they are allowed to go scot-free. I'd rather that we settle things a bit easier, but when it comes to a situation like this, there's very little options when dealing with their vigilantism."

"To be fair, Gran Torino and Deku did state that he was allowed to go find Tenya and fight if he had to." Naomasa countered. "The only one that broke the law was Tenya, and even then, Miruko gave her approval, so there's not much we can do here."

Giving a grunt, the police chief and investigator walked down the hall, only to stop when someone stepped in front of them. "Pardon me, but would the room you two came out of be the one holding Izuku Midoriya?" The stranger asked.

"That depends." Naomasa said as he tensed up, activating his quirk to figure out the man in front of him. "What's your relation to him?"

"Simply put, my family is friends with his. Our families go a long way back, you see, and I have some urgent business with him regarding his inheritance." True. The man was not lying about the details, and legally, there isn't much he could do to stop him. Besides, it was out of his hands.

"Very well, you can see him." Naomasa stated. "But just so you know, you got about 15 minutes to talk to him. Visiting hours are almost over."

"I'll make things quick, then." With that, the man made his way towards the room, knocking on it before he was allowed to go in. "Are you Izuku Midoriya?" He asked the young man with green hair, who looked rather surprised to see someone new.

"Yes, I am." Izuku said. "And you are?"

"My name is Genya Arikado." The black-haired man answered. He had an aristocratic face to go along with his suit, looking very professional in contrast to Izuku's bandaged appearance. "There is a matter I wish to discuss with you."

AND SCENE! That's a wrap on chapter 4, folks, I hope you loved it more than I did writing it! Sorry for the delay, but I did post a new chapter to my Coven of Bullshit, check that out if you wish!
