Chapter 35: A Knight to Remember Part 2
October 11, 2002 – Friday
Halliwell Manor
"Alright! Calm down," Piper yelled as she approached the door where persistently loud knocking could be heard from the other side. She yanked open the door to reveal a scowling Paige standing on the other side of it.
"At least I knocked," Paige said tersely as a way of greeting and dumped her bag by the door.
"Oh," Piper gasped with wide eyes as she watched Paige storm into the Manor.
"Hey Paige!" Phoebe grinned brightly at her and waved. Paige merely glared.
"Buffy, careful please!" They heard Dawn's voice order loudly from the conservatory.
"BUFFY! DAWN!" Piper yelled not taking her eyes off of Paige.
"Yes?" Buffy and Dawn replied as they walked into the foyer. "Oh, hi, Aunt Paige," they said as they smiled at their youngest aunt.
Paige forced a smile then headed for the stairs. "I'm not here to talk to any of you. I'm just here to look at the Book of Shadows," she informed them over her shoulder.
"I take it that is a no to my party?" Dawn asked with a sigh.
"Hey! Hey! We said we were sorry," Phoebe reminded her slightly annoyed.
"Yeah, right!" Paige rolled her eyes.
"What do you think about moving in with us?" Piper asked her bluntly and Buffy, Dawn and Phoebe turned to her with wide eyes while Paige froze mid-step.
"Excuse me?" Paige asked turning slowly.
"Well, that's what we came to talk to you about," Piper explained. "You know, we're tired of getting attacked by demons here and, and not being able to do anything about it."
"Yeah but we could do something about it if we were all together," Phoebe added with a kind smile. "You know, if we lived together, because that's when we're the strongest." She smiled.
Buffy and Dawn looked at each other. While they agreed with Piper and Phoebe, they wisely decided it would be best to keep their mouths shut. They didn't want Paige mad at them anymore than she already was.
"What do you say?" Phoebe asked hopefully.
Paige stared at them with a fake smile plastered on her face which quickly turned into a frown. "Are you four out of you freaking minds?" she exclaimed in slight disgust before storming off up the stairs.
"Did she just include us?" Dawn asked looking at her sister.
"Yep," Buffy replied. "Even though we weren't saying anything."
"Don't people usually storm out of the house when they're angry?" Piper questioned slightly amused as Phoebe chuckled.
"I don't want to be yelled at, not on my birthday," Dawn said. "But is that really the best way to ask Aunt Paige to move in with us?"
"I have to agree with Dawn," Buffy added. "We're practically strangers to her."
Phoebe shook her head, "But we're not strangers, Buffy. Piper and I are her sisters and you and Dawn are her nieces. Besides if you want to get technical, you two were strangers when you moved in."
"We also had reasons, Aunt Phoebe," Dawn reminded her aunt. "Or have you forgotten that I called mom because Buffy needed help. Help that I couldn't give her alone. Aunt Paige, doesn't have that."
"And the way she's looking at us now," Buffy said. "I don't blame her."
"That went about as well as earlier huh?" Piper spoke up as she scratched her chin.
Buffy merely raised her eyebrows at her as the front door opened. "Faith?" she questioned with a frown. "What are you doing home?"
"Pipes burst. Had to close the gallery," Faith replied watching them all closely, "What happened?"
"Aunt Piper and Aunt Phoebe are trying to get Aunt Paige to move in," Buffy answered.
"Oh," Faith said. She looked at Piper and Phoebe. "Don't you think I should have been here for that? After all I live here too."
"Your right, Faith," Piper agreed with a sigh. "You should have had a say also."

"So, you're not even going to consider this?" Phoebe asked as she stormed into the attic after Paige.
"Nope," Paige replied quickly, not taking her eyes off of the book.
Piper frowned. "Why not?" she questioned as Buffy, Dawn and Faith entered and came to a stop beside her.
Paige's head shot up at that question. "Because if it was that easy for you guys to barge into my room all the way across town then imagine how easy it would be if I lived here!" she snapped then went back to flipping through the book.
"You barged into her apartment?" Faith said shaking her head. She looked at Buffy. "Remind you of something?"
"When I was debating wanting to move out," Buffy said. "Yeah."
Piper walked forward. "Okay, could you just stop looking at the book for one second?" she asked tiredly.
"No!" Paige shook her head. "It's my book too."
Piper scowled. "If you lived here, you could look at it all the time."
"THAT IS ENOUGH!" Faith exclaimed loudly hands on her hips. She turned to Piper. "Stop it," she ordered sharply. "This is getting us nowhere. I may only be an in-law, but I do care about all of you. And this bickering over moving in, is just going to drive a wedge between the whole family. Shoot it nearly did once before. Remember, Piper? When you and Buffy both thought about moving out and what Prue and Phoebe thought about that." She looked at Paige. "Buffy and I both understand the barging in thing. On the eve of our wedding we had first Dawn and then Prue barge in while Buffy and I were in the midst of a romantic shower."
"Faith's right," Buffy agreed. "We get it, Aunt Paige. And believe me we know that our lives can suck. When I first moved to Sunnydale, I didn't want to be a Slayer anymore. I didn't want to have this hanging over my head. But you know what, that's part of who I am. Just as being a witch is part of who I am now."
Paige stopped sifting through the book, "I understand why you guys are asking me," she assured them, her voice returning to a normal level and she seemed like her normal self again. "I really, really do. It's just…I don't want being a witch to take over my life." She admitted honestly, "It's just…too much responsibility."
"Oh…Aunt Paige, we know," Dawn replied as Piper sat down on the chair next to Phoebe and she moved next to Buffy and Faith.
"Believe me, Paige," Phoebe took over, "I freaked out in the beginning too, we all did…especially Piper."
"Me too," Dawn added. "Well not the witch part, I accepted that pretty easily. But something much worse. You remember when Buffy and I were telling you our story?" Paige nodded. "We left one thing out. Even Aunt Piper and Aunt Phoebe don't know this."
Piper and Phoebe looked at Dawn in shock there was something they didn't know about their niece.
"You see, when Buffy went to face the Master, I followed her," Dawn said. "I watched as she fought him, I watched as he drank from her, I watched as he let her drop into a pool of water before he left his cave. I pulled my sister's dead body out of the pool of water. I held her, begging her to wake up." She wiped at the tears that were threatening to fall. "But she didn't."
"My friend Xander came with Angel," Buffy said. "They were surprised to see Dawn there. And as you know Xander brought me back. After that for months both my sister and I had the same problem. Nightmares, constant reoccurring nightmares about my death. To this day, it's the one thing Dawn continues to be afraid of."
"That I will lose my sister, forever," Dawn said. "And I nearly did the second time she died."
"That sounds like a good reason to fight like hell to keep a life separate from magic!" Paige told them.
"What Dawn and Buffy's story illustrates here is that it doesn't always work out that way." Piper replied as Phoebe sat playing with her hair.
"Well, maybe it would if I didn't live here," Paige muttered then went back to the book, signaling the end of the conversation.
"If you're looking for the Shocker demon spell then we already found it," Phoebe informed her while Piper watched Paige closely.
"I'm not," Paige replied hand on her hip. "I'm looking for something else." She informed them and Phoebe was about to question what exactly when the pages of both books started turning by themselves. "Oh my god!" Paige cried and jumped back from the book. She looked at her family who were all as calm as could be while they waited for the pages to stop.
Piper smiled at her. "Yeah…they do that on their own sometimes. It's usually Grams' doing," she explained and Paige nodded slowly.
"You might as well read the spell," Buffy told her when the pages stopped. "Grams can be very persistent."
Paige frowned looking slightly unsure but Phoebe nodded at the book with a smile. "Oh-kay uh…Here these words. Hear my cry. Spirit from the other side. Come to me I summon thee. Cross now the great divide," she chanted slowly.
Piper and Phoebe shot up out their seats. "Whoa…wait a minute," Piper cried looking between her sister, nieces and niece-in-law.
"The summoning spell?" Phoebe question, her face screwed up in confusion just as two ghostly figures appeared next to Piper slowly becoming corporeal.
"Hello my darlings!" one figure greeted with a smile.
Piper yelped and spun around with wide eyes, "GRAMS!" she cried hand on her chest.
"Grandma Patty?" Buffy and Dawn said as they turned to the second figure.
"What, what, what are you guys doing here?" Piper asked.
"Not that we're not really happy to see you!" Phoebe added quickly, a huge smile on her face.
Grams turned to Dawn and smiled, "Well, we're here for Dawn of course."
"Huh?" Dawn muttered looking utterly lost, "I'm sorry but I didn't call for you."
"We know that, sweetheart," Patty answered with a smile as she walked towards her youngest granddaughter. "But it's your birthday, the first with your aunts. And since your mom can't be here…"
"You thought you would come in her place," Dawn said as she smiled. "But we kind of have a problem. I have friends coming over for the party."
"Oh…" Grams said sadly.
"Oh, Grams," Dawn said as she walked over to her great grandmother and hugged her. She then turned toward Patty and hugged her as well. "Grandma Patty. I'm sorry, okay? If I had known you were coming, I would have had one with just our family."
"We understand, honey," Patty told her with a sad smile.
Dawn smiled sadly back. "You can stay until then though, right?" she offered hopefully.
"Hey, wait," Phoebe spoke up as she walked towards her mother and grandmother, "When you're in ghostly form, you know all transparent and stuff?" she asked as they both nodded. "Who can see you?" she asked with a knowing smile.
Grams rolled her eyes at her granddaughter's silly question, "Well only those who are of magical descent of course." She replied with one hand on her hip then smiled as she realized what Phoebe was getting at. "Phoebe, darling, you're a genius." She grinned.
"That means…" Dawn said looking at Faith. "You won't see them, because your technically not magical, not like us anyways."
"Actually, I am," Faith said as everyone turned and looked at her in surprise. "There is something I haven't told anyone. The Lehanes aren't my biological parents. My mom gave me up to protect me from my birth father. My mother's name was Ashara Bowen, she's…"
Patty and Grams looked at each other as their eyes went wide in realization. They looked at Faith. "Your Eris Darkholme?" they said at the same time.
"How do you know that name?" Faith asked in surprise.
"Ashara Bowen is our cousin on my Aunt Peyton's side of the family," Grams replied.
"You mean Great, Great Aunt Peyton is Faith's …" Piper started.
"Great Grandmother," Grams and Patty replied.
"Wow," Buffy said. "That just got weird. Your telling me. I was adopted into the family that my wife is the cousin of?"
"Pretty much," Patty said.
Phoebe smiled back at her proudly, "Yay! You can come, now that's settled can I have a hug please?" she begged and Grams happily obliged as Piper went to her mother and Buffy, Dawn and Faith waited patiently until Piper and Phoebe were done before they too hugged the two women.
"Paige," Patty turned to her youngest daughter with a slightly watery smile.
"Mom," Paige replied in a soft whisper smiling widely as Patty pulled her into an embrace. "I missed you," she whispered quietly in her ear.
Patty smiled. "I missed you too, baby," she whispered back.
When they pulled apart Phoebe threw her arm around her grandmother's shoulders and grinned at Paige. "Paige. This is our Grams, well, that makes her your Grams too," she said excitedly and Paige stared at Grams uncertainly.
Dawn saw what was happening and quickly cried, "Penelope." All eyes turned to her as she slid up beside Paige. "This is yours, Aunt Piper and Aunt Phoebe's grandmother, and mine and Buffy's great grandmother, Penelope Halliwell but you can call her Penny," she said calmly then shook her head firmly at Grams who was about to correct her.
Paige smiled at Grams and stuck out her hand, "It's nice to meet you, Penny," she said politely.
Grams stared at the hand until Dawn glared at her and she shook her youngest granddaughter's hand, "You too."
Dawn laughed a little and ran her left hand through her hair turning into Paige inconspicuously. "Hug her," she said through her teeth.
Paige turned to her with a why should I do that? look in her eyes and Dawn rolled hers, "Just do it," she insisted speaking through her teeth once more.
Paige took a step forward, her eyes drifting back to Dawn who nodded before she smiled at Grams. "It's really nice to meet you." She then pulled Grams into a slightly awkward but satisfying hug.
"Alright uh…" Piper spoke up loudly, "…why don't you two…" she pointed at Grams and Paige, "Get to know one another and everyone else can just…catch up."
"And I have to go talk with my wife," Buffy smiled and looked eyes with Faith.
"Aw come on, Buffy." Dawn whined, "They just got here. Can't it wait?" she begged with an innocent smile.
"No," Buffy insisted not talking her eyes off of Faith. "You. Me. Talk. Now," she said firmly walking towards Faith and pulling her out of the attic.
"Uh…we're not really going to just wait, here are we?" Paige asked with a curious eye once they were out of earshot.
"Yes, we are," Dawn countered. "I think I know what my sister needs to talk about. And it was partially has to do with why she just now is learning about Faith being a witch. We don't need to listen in to that conversation."

"Buffy, what's this about?" Faith asked warily as she sat down on the bed watching her wife pace up and down in front of her.
Buffy ran a nervous hand through her hair. "More than one thing, actually. First why didn't you tell me you were part witch?"
Faith sighed as she looked down at the floor. "Because technically speaking I'm in hiding, Buffy."
"What do you mean?" Buffy wondered as she sat down on the bed next to her wife. She brought her hand under Faith's chin and lifted so that she was looking deep into her wife's eyes.
"You did hear about the part Darklighter part right?" Faith asked. "My father, my birth father, has likely been looking for me my entire life. Mom, she bound my powers, cast a spell on the Lehanes, in an attempt to hide me from him."
"When did…" Buffy started.
"When did she bind my powers and hide me with the Lehanes," Faith answered as Buffy nodded. "I was five years old.
"Then how do you know he's still looking for you?" Buffy questioned.
"Because he almost found me," Faith answered. "Remember the body swap?" Buffy nodded. "He found me when I was in your body. He was thankfully fooled since while you were in my body, my powers were still bound, making it difficult for him to track me. He probably thought seeing me with blonde hair he had somehow tracked the wrong person. That's what he is, Buffy, a tracker. He's still going to be out there looking for me. My powers can never be unbound or he will find me. And then he will do everything he can to corrupt me, turn me evil for good this time."
"Oh," Buffy said as she wrapped her arms around Faith and pulled her wife close to her. "Thank you for telling me."
"Your welcome, Buffy," Faith said as she lifted her wife's chin and planted a passionate kiss on Buffy's lips. "Now you said you had more than one thing to talk with me about."
"It's not important, not now," Buffy admitted.
"No, it is," Faith said as she smiled at Buffy. "Everything is important when it comes to you."
"I've been thinking, Faith, that I want to have a baby. I want us to be parents," Buffy admitted as she smiled at Faith, trying to judge Faith's reaction to the news.
Faith looked at Buffy for a long moment. "I don't know, Buffy," Faith admitted. "The Lehanes were not good parents. I don't want to repeat their mistakes."
"You won't, Faith," Buffy promised. "I know you, you're not like them. You're a good…"
"I was like them for a while," Faith said. "Remember?"
"I remember," Buffy said. "And that's how I know your not like them now. That you are a good person. Because ever since then you have strived to be a better person. To be a good wife. And I think you will make an excellent mother."
"Can I have time to think about it?" Faith asked.
"Of course, you can," Buffy replied with a smile on her lips.

Despite Dawn's order that they weren't going to listen in. Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Dawn, Grams and Patty were trying to do just that.
"Can you hear anything?" Piper asked Phoebe who was at the front of their little group.
"You mean, apart from you whispering in my ear?" Phoebe snapped out of irritation, "No." She squinted her eyes as she enhanced her concentration.
"Come on," Dawn said shaking her head. "Let them have some privacy."
Grams and Patty shared a contented smile as they watched their family interact with one another. Their silent musings were halted by the opening of a heavy oak door.
"Ooh! They're coming out." Paige stated the obvious and the small group of huddled women shuffled back a little.
Buffy came out followed by Faith.
"So?" Phoebe wondered.
"We just talked," Buffy answered looking at the rest of her family.
"And?" Piper and Paige added.
"I told Buffy about my father," Faith said with a sigh. "About my birth father. Why I never mentioned that I was part which and part Darklighter. My birth father is a tracker. He's been looking for me for the last fifteen years. His intention…"
"Is to turn you evil," Grams said as Faith nodded. "Ashara told me why she sent you into hiding." She looked at her granddaughters and great granddaughters. "Ronan Darkholme wanted an heir. And what would be more powerful than an heir born from the Warren line."
"That's why my powers are bound," Faith admitted. "To hide me. They can never be unbound, for if they were, he would find me."
"We will find a way of helping you, Faith," Piper said. "After all you are family, in more ways than one now."
"Thanks, Piper," Faith said as she looked at the woman who was both her aunt-in-law and her distant cousin. "The other thing…"
"We can wait on that," Buffy interjected. "At least till you have time to think about it."
"I want their thoughts, Buffy," Faith said. "After all, Piper is right, their family." She looked at Grams, Patty, Piper, Phoebe, Paige and Dawn. "Buffy said she wanted to have a baby. With the exception of Penny and Patty you all know my history with the Lehanes. How I was abused. I don't know if I can be a parent after that."
"Of course, you can," Phoebe said as she smiled at Faith. "You will make a wonderful mother, Faith."
"I have to agree with Phoebe," added Piper. "You will make a wonderful mother."
"I don't know you like they do, Faith," Paige said as she smiled at the brunette Slayer. "But I believe Piper and Phoebe right."
"So, do I," Dawn said as she wrapped an arm around Faith and held her in a comforting embrace. "I think you will make a wonderful mother and I can't wait to be an aunt to your adorable baby."
Faith smiled and then looked at Buffy and nodded. "The answer is yes," she said. "I want to have a baby with you."
Buffy wrapped her arms around Faith and twirled her around. She pulled Faith back into their room and closed the door behind them.
Dawn smiled. "I think that's the best birthday present I've ever had."

Dawn, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Patty and Grams all walked back to the attic in complete joy at what Buffy and Faith had just agreed to.
"Okay…did that really just happen?" Paige asked quietly, moving slowly back to the Book of Shadows.
"You better believe it, Aunt Paige," Dawn said happily as she and Phoebe took a seat on the couch. "You just might be a great aunt someday soon.
Just then the attic door swung open slowly and Faith led Buffy, with big grins on both of their faces, into the attic.
Patty smiled as she pulled both Buffy and Faith in to her arms and hugged them tightly. "You both will make great mothers; I have no doubts about that. In fact, Buffy knows that to already be true."
Faith looked at Buffy in confusion. "Hunh?"
"I forgot about that," Buffy admitted. She looked at Faith. "Grandma Patty told me about a premonition Aunt Phoebe gave her from inside her womb."
"You mean you had three?" Phoebe asked in surprise as Patty nodded.
"Grandma Patty told me, that she had a premonition of our future. Of a day when we will be surrounded by everyone we love and I will be holding our daughter."
Faith smiled at Patty. "Thank you," she said. "You know I think we were originally all up here because Paige was looking for something."
Paige paused regarding Faith carefully then proceeded to shake her head and return her attention to the book.
"Look, Paige. You may not want to share a bathroom but when it comes to that book: it concerns all of us," Piper snapped harshly.
Phoebe nodded, "And besides that…." she said her tone a lot softer as she rose from her seat and walked over to Paige's side, "Maybe we can help," she added with a smile and wrapped an arm around Paige supportively.
Paige pursed her lips and then caved, "Okay…I know it sounds stupid but when I was little, I invented this horrible little fairytale and it just, always seemed really real to me," she admitted slightly embarrassed. She shrugged as she turned another page, "I don't know, I just—oh my god!" she gasped gazing down at that specific page.
Phoebe frowned. "The Evil Enchantress?" she questioned slightly amused.
"That's it!" Paige cried happily. "That's the evil witch, the one who kills the Prince, after he gets her pregnant of course."
Piper nodded with widened eyes, "Of course," she agreed, then began walking over to join her sisters by the Charmed Ones' book. She went to Paige's other side.
"The spell…wow, I can't believe it. 'Bring together my Prince and me. let him fall on bended knee,'" She began to recite the spell she could never remember the end too.
"No, Aunt Paige, wait," Buffy and Dawn tried.
Phoebe waved her arms in front of her baby sister. "Yeah, no don't, don't do that," she tried, biting her lip and shaking Paige.
"I summon him to my side."
"No! No-no, what, what are you doing?" Piper demanded her eyes darting from her sister to the book, "Paige, you need to stop," she tried again.
Grams and Patty watched on warily, knowing that it was already too late.
"That he may take me to be his destined bride," Paige finished the spell with a large grin and looked up as Piper slammed her hands down on top of the page. "I finally got to finish it," she beamed.
Year 1350
Draydon Keep, England
The Evil Enchantress lay on her back on her large, four poster bed.
The Prince was smiling down at her from above, when he was suddenly engulfed by a swirling, tornado-like wind and disappeared.
The Evil Enchantress watched in shock before sitting up sharply when he disappeared. "NO!" she cried looking around the room desperately but the Prince was nowhere to be found.

Piper, Phoebe and Paige looked up from the book at the sound of a howling wind and everyone present looked on in utter shock as a figure began to form within the wind and it finally disappeared leaving behind a very handsome looking man with sandy blonde/brown hair clad in chainmail.
Another gust of wind formed erratically around Dawn as it transformed her attire into a medieval lady's gown. Her once long brunette hair was now white and braided intricately down her back. She scoffed once she caught sight of her reflection.
All four jaws dropped as everyone stared at both the new arrival and Dawn's changed appearance.
The handsome man looked around, surveying his new surrounding in awe. His eyes fell to Paige and he instantly dropped to his knees, "My love," he greeted and bowed his head.
Paige's eyes bulged as she stared at the stranger before her. Her sisters, nieces and Faith traded looks then turned on her accusingly, hands on their hips.

Paige ran into the kitchen, followed by the Prince then the rest of her family. Dawn came along in the back as she dragged behind her heavy new outfit. "Okay this is way more than annoying!" she huffed as she all but tossed the train of the dress aside. "I would like to know why every time Paige casts some half assed enchantment; I get thrown into it?" Her glare centered on her sister. "Why the hell don't you get stuck in one of these?"
"Been there, done that," Buffy said. "Or did you forget our first Halloween in Sunnydale? Then where you became Tinkerbell and I became an eighteenth-century noblewoman."
"Oh right," Dawn said remembering that Halloween. "We need to fix this now."
Phoebe chuckled. "Unless you want to wear this to your party, tonight, I think your right."
The Prince once again followed after a freaked-out Paige. "Why do you run from me?"
"Why are you chasing me?" Paige shot back as she scurried away from him.
"Because we are meant to be together," he informed her confidently.
"That is not true," Paige insisted. "Does this look like King Arthur's court in front of you," she continued as she ran around the island in the middle.
Grams and Patty entered the kitchen behind their respective granddaughters looking highly amused at the scene playing out in front of them.
"It doesn't matter," the Prince insisted shaking his head. "We are meant to conceive an heir, my love."
At this statement Piper and Phoebe burst out laughing as Paige squealed and covered her ears. "Stop saying that!"
Buffy and Faith looked at each other. "Maybe we should take him up on his offer," Buffy said with a sly smirk. "If Aunt Paige won't."
"Maybe," Faith agreed with a chuckle.
"You guys want some privacy?" Phoebe asked gesturing between Paige and her Prince.
Paige glared at her sister. "This is not funny!" she exclaimed exasperatedly.
The Prince had successfully backed Paige into a corner so she turned to the kitchen table and held out her hands. "Plate!" she called loud and clear then proceeded to smash it over the Prince's head.
"OH!" Buffy, Dawn, Faith, Piper and Phoebe all cried as he fell to his knees in front of Paige.
"Paige!" Grams and Patty reprimanded together.
Paige grimaced. "I'm sorry," she apologized quickly. "Did I hurt you?" she asked him gently.
"You could never hurt me, my love," the Prince assured her with a smile and kissed her hand.
Paige turned to Buffy and Piper with a pleading look, "One of you two, do that thing you two do." She instructed, referring to their shared power to freeze.
"I think Buffy and I can agree," Piper said with a smirk. "We don't want to blow him up," she cautioned smugly.
Paige glared. "Well, one of you risk it!" she insisted sharply. "He's using his tongue."
"Ew!" Phoebe screwed up her face in disgust.
"You want me to do the honors, Aunt Piper?" Buffy asked looking at her eldest aunt.
"Be my guest," Piper offered.
Buffy smirked and threw her hand out lazily, freezing him mid-movement, then turned to the rest of her family and started laughing at both her sister and aunt's expense.
Phoebe's gaze flicked between her younger sister and her youngest niece, attempting to keep a straight face.
Paige shook herself and wiped her hand on her sleeve. "Thank god chivalry is dead," she muttered walking toward her sisters. "He is getting on my last nerve."
Dawn and Paige looked at everyone and glared as Piper and Buffy were in stitches while Faith and Phoebe's whole body shook from the force of their silent giggles. "I hate you all!" Dawn and Paige spat and stuck out their tongues.
Grams rolled her eyes at her giggling granddaughters, great granddaughter and distant cousin. "He must be under some sort of spell." she announced walking towards Dawn and Paige. "It's the only explanation for his strange..." Grams regarded the frozen man before her carefully, "...devotion," her eyes flicking back to Paige and Dawn.
"Gee, you think?" Dawn commented sarcastically. "What about me? Why do I look like Lady-freakin-Godiva with clothes?"
"It's the Evil Enchantress." Paige said matter-of-factly, "She cast a love spell on him."
Piper frowned, "So... why is Sir Lust-A-Lot, lusting after you?" she asked narrowing her eyes at the man in question. "And why did it hit Dawn."
Paige shrugged. "How should I know?" she snapped impatiently.
"Well, because it's your fairy tale and it's alive and frozen in our kitchen!" Dawn snapped putting her hands on her hips. "And this is really too much hair to deal with."
Paige inhaled deeply, rolling her eyes, then stormed past her family and out of the kitchen. Piper narrowed her eyes dangerously, while Buffy and Faith raised their eyebrows incredulously.
Phoebe frowned following Paige with her eyes while asking, "Where are you going?" then she and Piper rushed after Paige.
"I can't handle this." Paige replied throwing her hands in the air.
Buffy and Faith stayed put for several seconds as they moved beside Dawn. They proceeded to help Dawn slowly to follow after Piper, Phoebe and Paige.
"Wait, Paige, you can't just leave." Dawn said as she, Buffy, Faith, Piper and Phoebe followed Paige to the front door. "I mean look at me and there's a frozen Prince in the other room."
"Yes, I can," Paige replied. "I don't live here."
Phoebe sighed. "Paige."
"What?" Paige asked sharply.
"Look, you can't keep running away from these things." Phoebe pointed out trying to stay calm, "That's what we were trying to tell you. Being a witch is not a part-time job."
Paige turned back as she opened the front door, "Well, if I don't leave now, I'm not going to have a full-time job." And with that she walked right out.
Piper glared at Paige's back and strode forward. "PAIGE!" she yelled. "The Charmed Ones come first!"
Dawn huffed out a laugh at that as Phoebe turned to frown at her. "The Charmed Ones come first?"
Piper smirked. "It always worked when your mom said it."
