Day 2

Cuddling somewhere - Sincerely Three

Evan POV:

"Evan, I'm leaving for class. I'll be back," she paused. "Sometime tonight, alright?" She grabbed her purse off the kitchen counter across from me. I was sitting at the table, eating cereal for dinner. Cereal is obviously the most appropriate thing to eat for dinner. No one will tell me otherwise.

Wait.

"I thought you were going to stay today? So we could watch that movie together?" I felt bad for saying it but sometimes I really wish she did stay home when she said she would. Whether it be to do something like sit on the couch and watch a movie together or just because. I understand that she's putting in so much work and effort into her classes and work, I'm super grateful for it! Don't get me wrong, it's just, I miss her sometimes.

"Shit.. I completely forgot. Ev, I'm so sorry, could we do it another night?"

"No, uh, yeah! It's- that's fine, don't worry about it. I know you're busy with your classes and stuff," I stood up to put my bowl in the sink, running water in it to wash it off slightly.

"I'll tell you what. It's not that late, you've been hanging out with Jared and that boy Connor more often, I've noticed. Why don't you see if they could come over tonight?" Right, I still haven't told her about us. I've just said that we're really good friends. I'm half sure she buys it but at the same time I feel like she's always somewhat skeptical of it. She hasn't ever mentioned it so I'm not too worried.

"Maybe." I shrugged.

"Alright, well, I gotta go now. I love you."

"Love you too," and with that she left.

Once she was fully out the door I walked over to it and locked the bottom lock. Even if she had done it before she walked out, I didn't know that. Then it would bother me and I'd constantly be thinking about it. I mean, what if someone tried to break in and they noticed that the door was unlocked. What then? There's no way I'd be able to do anything then, I'd more than likely just freeze up until they left.

I walked over and sat down on the floor, resting my back on the couch. I pulled out my phone, hesitating to unlock it. I didn't want to bother them but it would be nice if they came over.

I put in the password and opened my messages, going to the groupchat that we have created.

HolyShitItProducesOxygen: do you guys want to come over tonight? my mom isn't home and she doesn't mind. you can say no, I really don't mind

I sent the message and waited for a bit before I got a response. It was from Jared.

Didnt'CRonCh'ABathBomb: u make that sound like u wanna fuk, ev
but yea, i can come over

HolyShitItProducesOxygen: that- no. you just have a unreasonably dirty mind

FinishedTheMilk: no jared's right

HolyShitItProducesOxygen: that's irrelevant, i didn't mean for it to and that's not what i was asking. are you coming over or not?

FinishedTheMilk: yea, i can come over. when?

HolyShitItProducesOxygen: um, now?

Didnt'CRonCh'ABathBomb: open ur door before i break your window to get in. im here

HolyShitItProducesOxygen: you're already here?

Didnt'CRonCh'ABathBomb: ya now open the fuckin door

HolyShitItProducesOxygen: okok, sorry

I stood up from the floor, walking over to the door, unlocking it. There stood Jared, wearing one of his signature graphic T-shirts with a grey jacket over it that wasn't zipped up and jeans.
"If you snap a picture you could have it forever, y'know." He snickered.

"Oh shut up, get inside." I moved over so he could come in, shutting the door behind him. "Con will be here soon, right?"

"He should be, I mean I'm assuming he just left so it might be a few minutes," he groaned. "What?"

"I want him to be here already, I'm tired and I want cuddles," he mumbled the last part. He gets clingy when he's tired. It's honestly adorable. I nodded and took his hand, pulling him towards the couch. I sat down first before pulling him on my lap; he immediately put his head in the crook of my neck, wrapping his legs around me.

I began to lightly draw circles on his back. "That feels nice.." he hummed, peppering small kisses along my neck. The two of us stayed like that for maybe another 3 minutes before Connor opened the front door. He stood there for a moment before pulling his phone out and taking a picture. He put his phone back in his pocket and sat down next to me.

"Why'd you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Take a picture?"

"You guys are cute, that's why," he shifted over a bit to plant a kiss on Jared's head.

"Mmm," Jared hummed softly before turning his head to face Connor, moving one of his hands that were still wrapped around me to hold his hand. "Tired," he mumbled.

"Go to sleep, love," Connor cooed.

"I love you though," he dragged out the 'h.'

"I love you, too, but you should go to sleep."

"Okayyy," we fell into a comfortable silence. The sounds of Jared's soft occasional snores could be heard. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't a little tired as well.

I laid my head down on Jared's. I glanced over at Connor, he was still holding Jared's hand. He seemed pretty tired as well, just staring around the room.

"Are you tired?" I asked.

"A bit, why? Are you?" I nodded. "C'mere," he moved to where he was rested against the arm of the couch, I moved as subtly as I could, careful not to wake Jared. I rested up against Connor, laying my head on his chest. Surprisingly this was more comfortable than I thought it'd be. Considering that the couch wasn't all that big.

"Are you comfortable?"

"Mhm, just go to sleep," he ran his fingers through my hair, humming softly. It didn't take long until the both of us ended up falling asleep.
