Day 3

Gaming/Watching a movie - Sincerely Three

A/N this is basically a part 2 to yesterdays prompt

Evan POV:

I woke up to the light of the sun peaking through the curtain and right onto my face. It was unnecessarily bright, if anyone was able to stay asleep with that light shining right on their eyes please teach me. I definitely didn't want to wake up yet but, it was nice to see both of my boyfriends sleeping soundly.

Connor was behind me, my head still resting on his chest. Jared was in front of me, still on my lap. Legs wrapped around my waist as his arms were loosely wrapped around my neck, using my chest as a pillow.

I moved my hand up to Jared's hair, lightly running my fingers through it. His hair was soft, really soft. It honestly amazed me on how soft it was.

I continued to play with his hair. I realized that my mom probably came home last night and saw us all on the couch together. I really hope she doesn't mention it, with them here or without.

Jared began to move around a bit, nuzzling his head deeper into my chest, wrapping his legs tighter around me. A soft moan could be heard. Not like a sexual one or anything. He was clearly awake now, though.

"Good morning, baby," I cooed, still running my fingers through his hair.

"Morning," he yawned, sitting up a bit to face me. His eyes averted to behind me, now looking at Connor. "Did he sleep the whole night?"

"I think so? At least he slept through most of it, I hope," he hasn't been getting much sleep again lately. At most he'd get 2 hours of sleep or less, if he was lucky he'd get 4 hours. Which was a lot better than 2. It might sound cliche but he really does seem to sleep better when he's with the both of us, that I've noticed. And I'm glad for that! I just wished he'd be able to sleep like this without us, too.

"Good, we should let him sleep then," I nodded. He looked back at me, the two of us holding eye-contact for a few seconds before Jared leaned in to kiss me. Of course, I immediately kissed back, moving one of my hands to softly cup his cheek.

The two of us stayed like that, taking a few minutes to stop and breathe, that was until someone walked into the room. It was my mom, I mean, obviously. Who else would walk into the roo- WAIT MY MOM CAME INTO THE ROOM.

She awkwardly cleared her throat as she stood partly in the hallway. I pulled away from Jared, him looking away from me and avoiding making eye contact with my mom.

"Mom! Uh.. good morning..?" I didn't mean for that to sound like a question but it did.

"Yeah, good morning," she glanced at Jared then at Connor who was still sleeping. "Sounds like you're really close friends to be practically making out on the couch, huh?" She walked into the kitchen, grabbing a mug from a cabinet to make her coffee.

"Oh yeah, the closest," Jared joked. "Wait, you never told her?"

"I mean- no? I was going to, I just wanted to wait for a bit.. Don't act like you told your parents either! You literally said it yourself, nothing you tell your parents is true! What makes you think that I would think that you told them not only that you're dating, but you're dating two people?"

"I never specified what I lied about," he shrugged.

"Yes you did. So did you tell them about that 'girl who you got second-base-below-the-bra with from Israel who was going into the army' then?"

"We've already established that she never existed. I'm surprised you bought that," he rolled his eyes. My mom was still standing in the kitchen, listening in on our conversation.

"I'm surprised you're saying all of this while I'm right here. Honestly I feel like I shouldn't be listening but you guys are just openly talking about it so I might as well listen. Oh, and Evan, I don't mind at all, I support all of you fully. Later, we will have to talk, though," Jared stared at me, smirking. He knew what she meant by that. It was one of those embarrassing talks that you'd have to sit through and listen to while your parents lecture you about something. I already knew what it was mostly going to be about.

"Oh, wonderful.." Jared began to snicker.

"This, my friend, is why I don't tell my parents about these things," he presented.

"Don't be cocky, I won't hesitate to talk to you either, Jared. You're not safe either," my mom spoke from the kitchen. Now it was my turn to laugh at him. He stared at me, a look of terror and fear. He mouthed the words 'spare me.'

"No, wait please-" none of us realized that Connor had woken up. How long ago? I have no clue.

"This is my cue to keep pretending to sleep so she doesn't say anything to me," Connor spoke from behind me.

Jared looked at Connor, "Oh, hi."

"Hi."

My mom sighed, "Y'know what? All I'll say is: use protection, don't break any beds, don't die."

"Die?" I questioned.

"You never know," she shrugged and left the kitchen, going back into her room. Jared scoffed and moved off of my lap, allowing me to move off of Connor so we could sit more comfortably. Connor sat up a bit more, shifting around. Jared sat on the other end of the couch, ons of his arms resting on the side of the couch while his legs were tucked up beside him.

"When did you wake up?"

Connor shrugged, "A little after Heidi came into the room and you all started talking."

"Oh, sorry. We didn't mean to wake you.

"No, it's fine. I was going to wake up soon after, it didn't matter," he leaned over to kiss my head. "Good morning though."

"Hey! I want a good morning kiss too," Jared whined, leaning across the couch to give Connor a kiss. Then there was silence, not an awkward one, just no one had anything to say and we were all fine with that; until Jared spoke, "We should watch a movie."

"What movie?"

"Uhh, we could watch.." Jared trailed off, thinking. I stood up from the couch and walked to the kitchen.

"I feel like making pancakes," I told them.

"Oh, okay," the two of them began to list random movie names, Jared (jokingly?) said the Bee Movie which caused Connor to cringe, saying that the movie was traumatizing and he could never see bees the same again. Which only encouraged Jared to talk about it more. I on the other hand partly listened to their conversation, hearing only bits and pieces as I was focused on trying not to let the eggshells fall into the pancake batter.

"Okay fine, no Bee Movie, what about Mean Girls?"

"As long as it isn't the 2nd one then sure. The 2nd one was terrible," Jared nodded in agreement.

"Okay then it's settled! Mean Girls it is," he cheered. "Ev, you okay with that?"

"Yeah, that's fine. I don't really care what we watch anyways," I went to throw away the eggshells but ended up almost tripping over my own feet, getting the excess yolk that was still in the egg all on my hand and a bit on the floor. "Damn it," I muttered, reaching down to grab the eggshell that had fallen on the floor, throwing it away then walking over to the sink, washing my hands off and grabbing a wet rag to clean it off the floor.

Connor looked over at me from the couch, "Do you need help, love?"

"No, no, I'm fine. I'm just terrible at cracking eggs," I mumbled. Why were eggs so.. difficult? Whatever, that doesn't matter.
I walked back over to the unmixed pancake batter and began to mix it all together.

-little timeskip to after he's done because this is getting really long and i need to post this already-

"Here you guys go," I said as I carried two different plates in my hand, one for each of them. I sat them down on the coffee table that was in front of the couch, going back into the kitchen to grab my own plate. They both said a different variation of 'thank you' and began to eat. I sat down by them, the three of us snuggled close together as we watched the movie.
