And now the final chapter in the Mandalore arc. This one is a doozy, I don't think I ever felt so sad, amazed, and scared during the entire episode. This one really got to me.

Tyron stood in the throne room of Mandalore, with Maul and Savage. Almec was giving a report on how Duchess Satine almost managed to escape Mandalore. But she had also managed to contact Kenobi.

"Satine's accomplices have escaped including the renegade Death Watch soldiers. But we will find them. The duchess appears to have contacted the Jedi just as anticipated." Almec reported. Maul smiled at that.

"Good. You have done well." Maul said.

"What of the people?" Almec asked.

"You are the legitimate Prime Minister Mandalore is a sovereign planet and you will maintain its neutrality." Maul said.

"And what of the Jedi?" Almec asked. Savage growled at him for that. Tyron rolled his eyes at that.

"Because of Mandalore's neutrality, the Jedi have no jurisdiction here. If Kenobi comes to rescue his friend, he will have to come alone." Maul said.

Eventually Maul's prediction came true. Obi-Wan had arrived to Mandalore and plotted a rescue attempt on Satine. However they were chased down by Maul's Mandalorians who now wore red armor, with some having spikes on their heads to symbolize Maul's rule. Their ship had crashed as Maul, Tyron and Savage arrived at the scene. Obi-Wan and Satine landed on the platform with debris falling around them. Kenobi was dazed and confused but he managed to see what he was dreading for a long time. Maul was back.

"No. It can't be." He said in disbelief. He tried to ignite his blade to fight, but he was too weak. Maul Force Choked him and disarmed him of his blade.

"We meet again Kenobi. Welcome to my world." Maul sneered and threw Kenobi to his guards. Savage held the unconscious body of Satine over his shoulders. Tyron couldn't be more excited. "Take them back to the Palace." Tyron went up to Maul.

"Now we kill him? Right? This is what it's been leading to. All of our fights, all of our deeds have led us here. Is it time Master? To exact our revenge?" Tyron asked eagerly. Maul merely smiled at that.

"My apprentice. There are other ways to achieve vengeance." Maul said tapping Tyron's shoulder. Tyron was confused but followed him.

There in the throne room Tyron stood at Maul's left. Satine sat next to him, a prisoner. Kenobi was in the center, flanked by two guards.

"Your noble flaw is a weakness shared by you, and your duchess." Maul said Force Choking Satine and lifting her into the air.

Despite the moment, Tyron was feeling, conflicted? No, he has to die here. Is Maul going to kill him? Or slaughter more innocents? No! It's not like that! You don't know Satine. She did nothing to deserve this. She's in league with him! He is responsible for—For what? That wasn't him. The thoughts came back. Tyron pushed those thoughts aside.

"You should have chosen the dark side Master Jedi. Your emotions betray you. Your fear and yes, your anger. Let your anger deepen your hatred." Maul said.

"Don't listen to him, Obi." Satine struggled to cry out.

"Quiet." Savage said.

"You can kill me. But you will never destroy me. It takes strength to resist the dark side. Only the weak embrace it." Kenobi countered. He's right. Shut up! I cannot be swayed!

"It is more powerful than you know." Maul said.

"And those who oppose it are more powerful than you'll ever be." Kenobi shot back. No! No! I cannot—I will not— "I know where you're from. I've been to your village. I know the decision to join the dark side wasn't yours. The Nightsisters made it for you." Kenobi said, almost sympathetic. See? Your path is similar too. SILENCE!

"SILENCE!" Maul shouted at the same time as Tyron's thoughts. "You think you know me?! It was I who languished for years thinking of nothing but you! Nothing but this moment! And now the perfect tool for my vengeance is in front of us. I never planned on killing you, but I will make you share my pain, Kenobi." Maul said. Tyron knew what he was going to do now.

"Wait." Tyron said in a weak voice that no one heard.

Kenobi tried to move forward but was hit twice by the guards.

"Wait." Tyron said again.

Maul ignited the Darksaber.

"Wait." Tyron said again his voice choking.

Maul moved Satine forward.

"Wait."

It was too late.

Maul stabbed Satine. She fell to the ground, Obi-Wan cradling her body. Tyron's eyes were filling up with tears. Maul didn't even notice. He was too busy relishing his revenge. I am sorry you had to find out like this. But it's what he is. Maul killed him.

"Satine." Obi-Wan cried out. Satine made a weak gasp that made the first tear fall from Tyron's eyes. She put her hand to touch Obi-Wan's face.

"Remember my dear Obi-Wan. I've loved you always. I always will." Satine said with her last breath. Obi-Wan pulled her body closer and kissed her hand. Tyron had never felt such sadness before in his life.

"Do we kill him now brother?" Savage asked. This pulled Tyron out of his thoughts. He wiped the tears he had, he hoped no one would notice.

"No, imprison him below. Let him drown in his misery. Take him to his cell to rot." Maul said.

"I'll go with him." Tyron said. This surprised Maul.

"You?" Maul asked.

"He could have contacted the other Death Watch members. I'll go and make sure he doesn't get out ever again." Tyron said, firmly. Maul didn't like that but waved his hand.

"Go then. Make sure he doesn't escape." Maul ordered. Before he left he pulled Savage aside.

"Savage. You are a true friend. I hope you know that." Tyron said.

"You brought me back to my brother. That makes us brothers." Savage said.

"Yes. It does." Tyron said, in a regretful tone.

Tyron led Obi-Wan away to the prison cells. But he wouldn't be taken there. There were three guards besides Tyron. With another two at the cells. He saw from the corner of his eyes a familiar face. He would use that to his advantage. One of the Mandalorians jetpack was hit with something.

"It's the rebels!" He shouted. All of the turned their back at once. That gave Tyron the opening he needed.

"Get down!" He shouted to Obi-Wan, shielding him from the blast. Tyron then ignited his blade and sliced off the other guards' guns.

"What do you think you're doing?" One of them asked.

"Something I should have done a long time ago!" Tyron said.

He managed to slice some of them and engaged in hand-to-hand combat. He got one of them in a headlock and used their wristbands to shoot out a grappling rope and the others chest. Then with his blade he sliced the jetpack, sending both of them flying around until they crashed.

"What are you doing?" Obi-Wan asked.

"What does it look like I'm doing? You're getting out of here." Tyron said firmly. Just then Bo Katan and her people landed. "Oh, great."

"What's the matter dog? Afraid of your master now?" She mocked.

"Not really. But I'm getting him out of here." Tyron said.

"I thought you hated him." Bo said.

"Not after… it doesn't matter. We're leaving." Tyron said.

"Why should I let you go after what you did?" Bo asked.

"I'm sorry? Did I kill your leader? Did I kill any of your men? Did I do anything evil to you specifically?!" Tyron shouted. Bo didn't have an answer for that. "I thought as much. I'm done with Maul. You want to kill him? Fine by me. But I need to get him out of here." Tyron said.

"It's alright." Obi-Wan finally said. "I'm sorry I don't think we've met; you are…" He asked.

"Bo Katan. I'm here to rescue you, that's all you need to know." Bo said.

"Sounds good to me." Ob-Wan said.

"Except I rescued him, but let's discuss that for another time." Tyron commented. Bo pulled out a jetpack for Obi-Wan to use.

"You ever use one of these before?" She asked.

"No, but in this case, I'm a fast learner." Obi-Wan said. He started off sluggishly but got the hang of it.

"And what about me?" Tyron asked. Bo used her grappling hook to tie it to her belt and handed him a rope.

"You better be able to hold on. I go really fast." Bo said.

"Joy." Tyron said, not having many options.

They made their way through the city when they were suddenly set upon by Maul's men. They landed near the areas where the landing platform was. Obi-Wan and Tyron ignited their blades and started deflecting their blaster bolts. They opened the door and found a full-scale war was happening. Obi-Wan and Tyron took it in for a moment. Tyron felt the guilt wash over him. It was overwhelming.

"Maul must really want you dead." Bo said.

"You have no idea." Obi-Wan said mournfully.

"He's right. You don't." Tyron said, sad. They eventually made their way to a ship that wasn't being blown up at the moment.

"Go back to your Republic and tell them what has happened." Bo demanded.

"That would likely lead to a Republic invasion of Mandalore." Obi-Wan countered.

"Yes and Maul will die! But Mandalore will survive! We always survive! Now go!" She said. Tyron turned back to her, a mournful look on his face.

"I'm sorry about your sister. No one should have died. Especially like her." Tyron said. Obi-Wan was shocked to find out this. They quickly entered the ship and prepared for takeoff.

"Tyron I want to know, why did you save me? You blamed me for my master's death. You wanted to kill me. What changed your mind?" Obi-Wan asked. Tyron couldn't hold back the tears in his eyes.

"It's not like that! It's… it's… he would have been ashamed of me. Disgusted even. I don't deserve to be his family. I've done evil things. I can't…" Tyron stopped and turned away from him. Obi-Wan put the pieces together. Now he knew.

"You're Qui-Gon's nephew aren't you?" Obi-Wan asked. Tyron didn't say a word but kept his head down, tears streaming down his face.

"I'm so sorry."

Man! That was a banger! I cried just writing this! Oh man! So there it is. Tyron is the nephew of Qui-Gon Jinn. So, I know he didn't have a sister in canon, but I decided to make one for this story. Now comes the question of who is Tyron's father? I hope you all enjoyed. The next arc for this series is actually only an episode after this with the Ahsoka arc of her being framed. But I think I'll take a break for now; this last arc really tired me out.
