Narrator's pov
Bonnie, Caroline, and Elena were currently watching Legally Blonde, while doing each other's nails. It's been a while since they had a slumber party and they were having so much fun. Nothing could be better than this.
"Oh come on!", Caroline said with a laugh. They were discussing what a badass Elle was and how she's like superwoman. "No I'm serious Care, if you were a Legally Blonde character, it would be Elle. I mean you're both kind, fierce, ambitious, and determined to defer to other people's expectations. And also there's more to both that meets the eye." Bonnie replied, which made Caroline blush. If she wasn't madly in love with Tyler and Bonnie with Damon, she'd ask her out in a heartbeat.
All of a sudden, they heard a knock on the door. Rudy and Abby opened the door and took a slight peek. "Can we come in?" Rudy asked gently. Bonnie nodded in response and carolena left the room to give them some privacy.
Rudy and Abby sat on her bed, looking concerned. "Hey honey, how are you feeling?" Abby asked softly.. Bonnie sighed and smiled, "I'm fine you guys, don't worry." Her parents gave her a look indicating that they didn't buy what she was saying. "Sweetie, you know you can tell us anything?" Rudy stated with concern in his eyes. "Is it about Damon?" Bonnie nodded in response.
"It's been weeks since we broke up, but I can't stop thinking about him. I know we had our issues, but we always worked them out, but I'm starting to think that this is beyond that point." Bonnie said, trying not to cry.
Rudy and Abby gave her a hug and they stayed like that for 10 minutes. Bonnie then spoke up, "So what about that pizza?", referencing the moment they said that they were ordering pizza for them. Her parents laughed right after and Bonnie smiled. She loved her parents so much. If only Jaime was here to enjoy this family moment.
Bonnie then heard a beep coming from her phone. "One second." They nodded in return.
Caroline: My mom wants me to come home right now.
Elena: Same with Aunt Jenna
Caroline: We'll talk to you later
Bonnie was confused at the moment. Liz wanting her to come home early makes sense, but Jenna not so much. She started typing in her reply and instantly got 2 new messages
Bonnie: Ok, I'll talk to you guys later. I love you
Caroline: I love you so much Bon
Elena: Love you too Bonnie
She put her phone away to focus on her parents. "So, you guys want to watch Mean Girls with me?" Bonnie asked with a smile. They smiled back in return. "How could we turn down quality time with our daughter?" Rudy asked with a chuckle. Bonnie's face lit up and she gave her parents the tightest hug. "Thank you so much!". She then set up the movie for them to watch together.
I had a lot of fun writing the Rudy/Abby/Bonnie parts. Such a shame that they didn't get more focus :(. And also, don't Elena and Caroline seem a little off at the end of this chapter? Hmmm. Anyways, I have school tomorrow, so this story might not be updated for a bit (hopefully I don't lose my muse like last time) Enjoy! Love y'all.
