Disclaimer: I don't own shit.
New York/Camp Half-blood -- 3rd PoV.
It was a day like any other for camp half-blood. Apollo's shining chariot was making its usual route across the sky. Birds were chirping, Satyr's were playing their pipes, or chasing nymphs, a giant flying pig breathing fire onto children armed with swords and shields.
... wait... what?
"SQUEEEEEEE!" The pig squealed as it blew fire on a poor boy, who barely was able to dodge the fire, and ended up with his butt on fire as he ran around like a chicken with no head.
A pair of men sat on a porch overlooking the chaos caused by the pig.
One of the men sighed and turned to the other.
"Mr D... was bringing the Crommyonian Sow here really necessary?" The man asked, sitting in a wheelchair.
"Eh it makes good training." Mr. D said with a shrug.
"True but... did you really have to mutate it with dragon blood to gain the ability to breathe fire...?" The man asked.
Mr. D took a swig of his diet coke.
"Yes." He replied.
"But... why?" The man asked.
"Yes." Mr D said.
"Yes?" The man asked.
"Yes Chiron... yes." Mr D said.
The now named Chiron sighed and turned to watch the chaos once more.
Suddenly a flash of light lit up the side of Chiron's face.
The two men turn to see Hephaestus and Inmortui appear from the flash.
"Ah, Lord Hephaestus! Welcome! And who is this young lad?" Chiron said to them.
Mr D snorted at the young lad comment.
"Yeah 'young lad'" Mr. D snickers, which slightly confused Chiron.
Hephaestus chuckled at the inside joke.
Inmortui sighed and walked up to Chiron.
"I'm Inmortui Ignis. I'm Hephaestus' son. I'm also an Undead... well an Unkindled... but it's pretty much the same thing." Inmortui said, hand outstretched.
Chiron shook his hand.
"An Undead...?" Chiron asked.
"I'll explain it." Hephaestus said before turning to Inmortui.
"You can go ahead and get settled in." Hephaestus said.
"Actually Hephaestus... I think we should let the newbie give us a... demonstration... like say... take down a certain flying fire breathing pig that's terrorizing our poor campers." Mr D said with fake worry, making Chiron roll his eyes.
"Mr D. the boy just got here. Let's give him time to settle in befo-"
"Sure. Just let me get changed real quick." Inmortui said nonchalantly.
Chiron whipped his head to look at the Unkindled, slightly shocked.
Mr D nodded.
"Of course feel free. There is a bathroom right over there." Mr D said waving him to a door.
Inmortui nodded and walked into the bathroom to change into his armor he used in Lothric.
Hephaestus gave Mr D a dirty look before he shared the memories of Inmortui's life with Chiron.
Chiron's face turned sympathetic to the "young man"
Chiron chuckled as he realized the inside joke.
Suddenly the bathroom door opened and the sound of clinking armored boots came to their ears, and they could finally see him in his full armor.
Inmortui is wearing most of the armor of Artorius, The Abysswalker. But his legs are covered in the armor of Lothric's Prince, Lorian, and on his head is the helm he took from his copy, the soul of cinder, the firelink helm.
In his left hand is a heater shield with a crest that reminded them of grass. And over his shoulder is a very large greatsword, and a curved dagger with a bone handle sat at his left hip, and a white scabbard with a straight sword within on the same side.
On his lower back are pair of warped gauntlets with five long claws extending from the knuckle area, while his upper back is occupied by a pole and a large straight handled scythe, that a frosty mist oozed from the blade. His Priscilla dagger was attached to the back of his right hip.
His hands have a total of four rings on them each, Havel's Ring, the Witch's ring, the ring of steel protection, the knight's ring, the Carthus Milkring, Pontiff's right eye ring, Farron Ring, and the sage ring.
Chiron blinked at the assortment of rings on his person, remembering that he only wore four rings on him in Lothric.
Inmortui seemed to notice his thoughts.
"Lothric had a rule. You're only allowed to wear four rings at a time. Any more and you are considered a terrorist... it was a weird law. But it was more than in Lordran. I could only wear two then. But since I'm not in Lothric I can wear as many as I want." Inmortui said.
Chiron nodded, accepting the logic, while thinking it was kinda stupid to call people who wear more than four rings a terrorist.
Mr D clapped at his appearance.
"My my! Now that is some interesting equipment you've got... now why don't you get along with fighting that pig." Mr D said.
Inmortui rolled his eyes and walked off.
Clarisse was not having a good day.
Firstly it was her time of the month. Secondly her so called boyfriend decided to literally ghost her... as an actual ghost! What a dick!
And Thirdly she was stuck fighting a giant flying fire breathing Fucking Pig because Mr D decided it would be fun for training (read: he wanted to see them suffer).
Not only that! But all of the other campers had been incapacitated due to burns and she was the only one left, besides Leo Fucking Valdez! Who tried to use his pyro abilities to keep her from getting burned herself! Was he succeeding? Barely!!
Clarisse growled as she readied her shield to block another blast of fire. Only for a blue beam to to hit it in the eye.
"SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!?" the beast squealed in pained confusion as it looked around for the source.
Clarisse also looked at the source of the beam.
What she saw made her breath catch in her throat.
It was a figure wearing an unknown style of armor, and a charred and melted helm that concealed his face.
Her eyes were drawn to his absolutely massive greatsword, as he held it over his shoulder casually like it weighed nothing.
He walked towards them casually.
The pig noticed the teen and screeched, before charging at him.
Clarisse went to warn him, but then the boy reared back his greatsword and when the pig was just in range, he swung down quickly, effectively knocking it to the dirt, and cutting off its left wing.
The pig squealed in pain and butted it's head upwards and fire spouted from its nostrils.
The teen rolled away and seemed to vanish as he did so.
The pig whirled around in search of the teen, only for a ball of black fire to hit it dead in the face.
The pig screeched in pure agony as the dark flames ate at it. The flames of the abyss were the bane of all forms of flame using creatures. As the dark existed to snuff out light and the flames.
Clarisse almost felt sorry for it... but then remembered it had set her little brother Thomas' ass on fire, and savagely grinned.
The Knight placed a shield on his back after successfully tanking a charge from the raging pig, and grabbed a curved bone handled dagger that was at his hip.
Suddenly he charged the beast and leaped. His dagger sliced into the pig and buried itself into the dirt, while his greatsword continued with his momentum and impacted the pig once more, sending it into the ground stunned.
He then swung his sword again, dagger still in the ground, which made him spin with the sword, before he swung his blade upwards, unhooking his dagger from the ground and did a spin as he slammed the blade into the thick hide of the pig.
The pig took heavy damage from the combo, which oddly reminded Clarisse of a hunting wolf, and the pig attempted to escape.
Only for the Knight to place his greatsword onto his back and pull a fucking scythe from his back!
The Knight hooked the pig with the scythe and kept it from moving, before he grabbed a beautiful white dagger from his back.
The dagger glowed and a massive sword shaped blade of energy sliced into the pig's head, effectively killing it.
The pig burst into golden dust and a white wisp of energy flowed into the Knight who replaced his scythe onto his back and retrieved his greatsword. And his dagger returned to it's sheathe, before removing his melted helm, revealing the knight to be a teenager.
Clarisse, Leo, and the rest of the campers, who watched from the sidelines, were slack jawed at the teen who killed a monster that's only been killed twice in history. Not only that he used so many different abilities.
The camper then cheered and rushed towards Clarisse and Leo, pushing them towards the teen, who blinked in confusion as they began to chatter all at once.
Inmortui was slightly overwhelmed by the attention, living in Lordran and Lothric, the only crowds you get are the hoards of creatures who swarm you to kill you.
Luckily he could sense their intentions were not harm him but simply to express their amazement.
"Yooooo! Dude! That was amazing shit! Especially the fire! I didn't even know black fire existed!" A latino teen with slight elven features, and not the pretty kind, said as he patted Inmortui on the back.
Clarisse just stared at Inmortui as if she was entranced by him, which kinda freaked him out.
"The name's Leo, Leo Valdez, short sweet rolls off the tongue, ladies love it." Leo said.
Inmortui rose an eyebrow.
"Do they?" Inmortui asked, which prompted Leo to grin and poke the side of his own nose.
Clarisse rolled her eyes but sighed.
"Surprisingly yes. Valdez is actually pretty popular with women. But he is Taken let's not forget right Valdez?" Clarisse said with a glare.
Leo nodded sagely.
"Indeed. This piece of hot manz is happily taken. By a Goddess no less." Leo said with a sly grin. Prompting Clarisse to facepalm at his words.
Inmortui chuckled at their dynamic, remembering his own time as the straight man of a duo, ... or trio actually... Siegward and Solaire were a handful whenever they met up.
"I'm Inmortui Ignis. Hephaestus is my father, like you Leo am I right?" Inmortui introduced himself.
Leo nodded, he'd guessed by the fire that he'd be a son of Hephaestus.
"So bro. Judging by your stabby stabby stuff, you're not exactly new to the fact gods exist?" Leo asked.
Inmortui shook his head.
"I only recently found out I was Hephaestus' son but I've met other gods before, fought a few... dozen." Inmortui said with a shrug.
Clarisse gaped.
"And you're still alive?! They didn't just turn you to ashes with a blink!?" Clarisse shouted in shock.
"Well yes... and no... it's complicated. And as for the gods I fought, well... let's just say they won't be turning anyone else to ashes ever again." Inmortui said with a sly grin.
Clarisse just gaped at him, while Leo laughed and patted him on the back.
"I like him! Welcome to the Camp! Glad to have a new camper alongside us." Leo said.
"Actually..." The voice of Chiron said as he approached the group.
"Inmortui here is to be one of our newest instructors. He is by far the oldest person here besides Mr D and myself, it would be a waste to make him an ordinary camper, he will of course live in the Hephaestus cabin, and will participate in camp activities like every other camper, but he will be in charge of instruction of a new class, one for the Hephaestus cabin." Chiron explained.
Inmortui nodded at that, which made Leo and Clarisse look at him quizzically.
"Thank you Chiron. Now..." Inmortui turned to the campers.
"Hephaestus cabin! I am Inmortui Ignis. I am your brother. However for now on I will be your instructor in the ways of an art that by all mean all of you should be capable of." Inmortui said to them.
The cabin muttered to themselves.
Inmortui stabbed his sword into the ground and held up his palm. A flame blazed to life in the center of it.
"Pyromancy." Inmortui said.
The camp went silent, and Leo's eyes widened, alongside everyone else.
After a few seconds of silence Leo's face began to grin.
His biggest fear was always his own power, and now he had someone to teach him to properly use it. He was excited to say the least.
A voice from his cabin spoke up.
"But... we can't summon fire like you or Leo can..." one of Leo's sisters said.
"Yes that's correct, Leo was born with that ability. But let me tell you a secret." Inmortui said.
The camper's looked confused.
"I wasn't born with it." Inmortui said shocking everyone including Leo.
"I was taught Pyromancy by a witch who adopted me. She became my teacher and my mother. I was also adopted by a Knight." Inmortui said, making them wonder how old he really is.
"I learned to wield fire. So what's to stop me from teaching you. Besides..."
The flame in his hand grew Chaotic as it glowed a molten color, before it turned Black with ashen smoke.
"I'm pretty sure I can teach a natural born pyro a thing or two. What do you think Leo?" Inmortui asked.
Leo nodded in wonder at the black flame, he was entranced by it, the Chaotic flame from before even more so.
He conjured up his own flames into one of his palms and stared at it.
"Could my fire become like that?" Leo wondered.
Inmortui noticed his flame and smiled.
"Now... I won't force those who don't want to learn. It's your choice after all. But those who wish to learn let me say this... I will work you to the bone, until the point that you'll be able to cast high level pyromancies in your sleep." Inmortui said.
Some of the campers chucked at the "joke."
"Why are you laughing? That wasn't a joke. You will literally be casting pyromancy in your sleep." Inmortui deadpanned.
Everyone including Chiron paused, only for Inmortui to burst into laughter.
"Bahahaha! Gwynnevere's tits you all fell for it. Your faces! Hahaha! I'm joking. You won't be casting it in your sleep." Inmortui said, laughing, which Leo joined in.
"Yet." Inmortui thought devilishly.
Chiron got a shiver up his spine suddenly and then noticed a glint in Inmortui's eyes, and decided to make his exit.
"Very well. I will leave the teaching of this Pyromancy to the Hephaestus cabin in your capable hands Mr. Ignis." Chiron said before he galloped away with his lower horse half, which Inmortui had chosen to ignore. There were no horses in Lordan.
"Now those, of the Hephaestus cabin, who wish to learn lets head to the forge. The best place to learn to wield fire is in a place with lots of it." Inmortui said to them.
Only for one of his new sisters to speak up.
"U-um..." She muttered.
"Yes? what is it?" Inmortui asked.
"Us in the Hephaestus cabin get our own forges... it doubles as our bedrooms and are underground..." she explained.
Inmortui blinked at that.
"... Ok... then once I get my own room we can do classes in my forge." Inmortui said.
The girl nodded with a smile, the rest of the class did so as well.
Leo grinned and swung an arm over Inmortui's shoulder.
"You're gonna fit right in dude! Awyeah! It's time for the Patented Leo's CHB Tour!!! Les Goooo!" Leo said, which made other campers pale and run off, confusing both Inmortui and Leo.
"What's their problem?" Inmortui asked.
Leo shrugged.
"Anyways! Tour time." Leonsaid as he dragged Inmortui off to explore the camp.
Inmortui blinked at the structure towering above him.
"Leo..." Inmortui said
"Yyyyes brotha?" Leo asked.
"It that a rock wall?" Inmortui asked.
"Yyyyes it is." Leo stated.
"... why is it spewing Lava?" Inmortui asked.
"Yes." Leo said
"Ah ok..." Inmortui said
Silence reigned for a few seconds before Leo spoke up.
"Wanna climb it?" he asked.
Inmortui looked at the lava... then to Leo.
"Yes." Inmortui said.
Leo grinned and gave a thumbs up.
Inmortui immediately took off sprinting at the wall and jumped as high as he could and grabbed the wall and began to climb it.
The next several minutes were the most fun he'd had in a long time, the thrill of dodging Lava as he ascended the tower was a thrill he hadn't felt since Lordran.
Other Undead could say what they will about that drake on the bridge, but to Inmortui dodging that fire was one hell of a thrill for him, especially since the drake seemed to take it as a challenge to hit him with its fire... Shame that he killed it at archdragon peak... he hadn't even realized it was the same drake... a real shame... he wanted to tame it... but who knows... maybe his Raider job will allow him to come across other monsters he could tame.
That would be fun.
Inmortui shook himself from his mental ramblings just in time to dodge a glob of lava, but he immediately noticed that another was fast approaching, he dug into his bag and pulled out a Blue Heater shield that had a golden dragon head etched into it. He quickly batted the lava glob away and continued his climb.
He kept dodging, climbing, and blocking until he finally reached the top to the tower. Where he saw Leo there leaning against a large Drake entirely of bronze.
Leo noticed him and waved.
"Yo! Over here!" he said to Inmortui, who walked to him, while staring at the the Bronze Drake, which stared back at him curious.
Suddenly the Drake let out a series of clicks and scrapes instead of a roar, like Inmortui was uses to.
Leo looked at the Drake, with a raised eye brow, before he turned to Inmortui.
"This is Festus, he's my partner in crime! And he just said 'hello corpse scented fire dragon'" Leo introduced/translated.
Inmortui blinked at that, but bowed to the drake.
"Greeting Bronze Scaled Drake." Inmortui said.
Festus' eyes glowing red eyes flashed, as if blinking.
Leo also blinked.
"Drake? Not Dragon?" Leo asked, as most called Festus a dragon.
"Drakes are a subspecies of Dragon, they are similar to Wyverns, who possess winged arms, which some Drakes possess, but Drakes are in actuality smaller than Dragons, which can grow to the size of a small mountain range." Inmortui explained.
Leo whistled at the comparison, before he turned to Festus.
"Yeah... Buddy I hate to say it but... you are definitely a Drake... a mechanical bronze drake." Leo said to Festus.
Festus just hissed, clicked and clanged at his friend and seemed to shrug his shoulders.
Leo nodded before he turned to Inmortui.
"He wanted me to say 'you are correct.'" Leo translated.
"Yeah well I've killed both Drakes and Dragons, so I learned the difference real quick." Inmortui said with a shrug.
Leo looked at him in awe.
"Really!? Did you get anything cool from them?!" Leo asked excited.
Inmortui chuckled and dug into his bag and pulled out the Drake Sword.
Leo gaped at it.
"I got this from cutting off a Red Fire Drake's tail. It's a piece of its tail end bone, but it's mostly used as a sword, and has a special power to it." Inmortui said before holding the sword in both hands, he held it above his head and a white energy collected along the blade before he swung down and the white energy was sent forward along the ground in a gust.
Leo's jaw dropped at the display.
"Dude!!! That's so fucking cool!" Leo gushed.
Inmortui laughed at that before he put the sword back into his bag and pulled out another, much larger sword, the moonlight greatsword.
Leo gaped at this one, as did Festus.
"This is the moonlight greatsword, I created this after cutting off a real dragon's tail, but lost it after a... situation made me lose it, it's been used by many others afterwards, but in the end it returned to me after I killed the last possessor of it, he went mad after absorbing it into his soul and attempting to use the powers of dragons. I remade it after I took his soul. It's complicated." Inmortui said. But Leo didn't seem to care as he was entranced by the sword.
"What does it do?" Leo asked.
Inmortui grinned and faced away from them, and charged his swing up, as he did so the blade glowed with crystalline green energy, that reminded Leo of the moon.
Inmortui swung the blade and the energy released into a crescent of moonlight energy.
Leo was amazed by the weaponry.
"Wow..." Leo said breathless.
Inmortui laughed again, and returned it to his bag.
He then pulled out Priscilla, his dagger.
"I had this made this using Dragon Scales, and several other rare metals, this dagger is capable of casting magic. It is the Original Magic casting Melee weapon. Which many tried to replicate but only got inferior copies." Inmortui said as he gazed at the dagger longingly, the name and the blade itself reminded him of his Priscilla.
Leo noticed the look and could tell he was missing someone.
"Does it have a name?" Leo asked.
"... Priscilla... I named it after the woman I fell in love with, but I had a duty to do and was forced to leave... I... promised I'd return for her once i had finished... but by the time I was able... too much time had passed and she was gone... nowhere to be seen..." Inmortui said.
"Ah-... I can understand a bit of what you feel..." Leo said as he sat down and leaned against Festus again, gazing at the sky.
Inmortui looked at him.
"My girlfriend, Calypso... oh who am I kidding... I'm definitely marrying that woman... she's a legitimate goddess, her father was the Titan Atlas, an enemy of Olympus, and was punished for it... she was cast onto an Island. Alone. Cursed to fall in love with any of the men who came to her Island, and was told she'd only be able to leave when the man who is destined for her takes her from the island." Leo said.
Inmortui stayed silent.
"Then along comes me... I was in the middle of a world ending Prophecy... and I was randomly dropped onto the island... like the others. I am not that good looking... like the others... and she reminded me all the time. But we spent a lot of time together... and I fell for her... I swore I would find a way to get her off that island... and I remembered something a monster I fought once said about a device the hero Odysseus made... that as they took it from him he muttered about needing a crystal." Leo said.
"... The Island that was cursed so no man would be able to find it a second time..." Inmortui said.
Leo nodded.
"But I luckily had the device aboard my ship... which Festus used to be part of... and all I needed... was the crystal. So I asked Calypso before I left for one of those crystals, as a souvenir..." Leo said.
"I sacrificed my life against Gaia... but luckily I had Festus here... he injected an item that brought me back to life. And I used that chance to go to rescue Calypso." Leo finished his story and looked to Inmortui.
Inmortui sat beside the boy, and chuckled a bit.
"Seems we've both died and comeback to life." Inmortui said.
Leo looked at him for an explanation.
Inmortui remembered that Hephaestus said not to tell... but Leo himself had died and come back... which by the definition of Undead, makes him one too.
"Well... where do I begin... ah... how about... the beginning." Inmortui mused.
"It all started when I was kidnapped by a sentient flame that sought to never be extinguished..." Inmortui said before he began to tell Leo everything... how he was turned orphan to undead. Everything, eventually he got to where he met Priscilla.
"The painting was... in actuality a world, cold and Kind to lose who lived there, given life in itself, before that life was twisted by Seath... the dragon I got the Moonlight greatsword from. That world then became a prison for his daughter... who was a crossbreed... born from Seath and the Goddess Gwynevere.
She was born with the very power to end all life, and that scared Gwynn so he locked her into the painting and kept it in his castle to keep an eye on her.
But she was far too kind to ever end all life... and when I was dragged into the painting I fought my way through and met her for the first time... I was entranced by her... at first she thought I was there to kill her... but eventually realized I came there by accident she said to jump off the tower and I would be free.
But I didn't want to leave... I instead introduced myself to her. And stayed there for many many years... But time never passed in the outside realm. Eventually she and I... did certain acts... and I found she was pregnant... but I had been found by a being known as the Primordial serpent. He tried to drag me out of the painted world. And I swore I would return to her after I linked the fire... not knowing my fate should I do so..." Inmortui said.
Leo looked solemn at that as did Festus, if the dimming of his eyes said anything.
Inmortui continued to tell Leo the rest of his story... and his fate... and then his second journey in Lothric.
By the end Leo was moved by the story.
Inmortui shook his head of the memories and stood up.
"Enough about the past though... don't we have a tour to complete?" Inmortui asked.
Leo nodded and climbed onto the back of Festus.
"Hop on. Ever since I gave the tour to one of our past campers I was put in charge of giving tours. And I always give my tours by air." Leo said with a grin.
Inmortui suddenly looked very ecstatic.
He always wanted to ride the drakes he fought in Lothric and Lordran. But for obvious reasons he couldn't.
"Let's do this!!! I've always wanted to ride a drake!" Inmortui said.
Leo suddenly got a naughty grin.
"Didn't you already ride a dragon? One named Priscilla?" Leo laughed out only to dodge a giant blade of magic from Inmortui's dagger.
"Shut up!!! That don't count!" Inmortui growled out.
Leo meanwhile was on the ground laughing his ass off. While Festus just seemed to sigh at his antics.
Inmortui glared lightly before he cracked a small smile at the teen.
Leo noticed and grinned back before he got back onto Festus and gestured for Inmortui to climb aboard the drake.
Said undead climbed upon the mechanical drake and sat behind his psuedo undead brother.
Festus gave out a series of whirs and clicks as he slowly spread his mechanized wings.
"Alright festus! let's show our newest camper the camp!" Leo grinned, and for some reason that grin slightly unnerved Inmortui.
He quickly found out why as Festus let out a roar of flame from his mechanical jaws before abruptly taking off from his perch on the lava wall.
The resulting shockwave nearly sent him flying on his own, and if not for the fact he was conditioned for situations like this he would have.
Festus took to the air straight up at close to Mach 1 speeds, before abruptly stopping when they were nearly 1000 ft over the camp, and his spread wings settled into a glide.
Inmortui peeked over the sides and gaped at the size of the camp. There were clear signs of terraforming to make the area larger, most definitely to allow the amount of buildings to actually fit in the small forest clearing that the camp was based in.
From what Inmortui could see a lot of stone platforms were laid out upon the water of the long island sound and more buildings, were built directly upon them. And even from here he could feel the amount of divine magic that each held within.
He noticed the Arena, the amphitheater, the massive bonfire, and he even sas the Big house, he also saw the forest. Finally he saw the campers, all wore an orange t-shirt. Some men with horns were chasing some women who melted in and out of the trees.
He saw everything from the sky, he was honestly amazed by the camp. Lordran and Lothric were architectural masterpieces in themselves, but this place was built by children, a feat that he found to be more impressive than even the castle of Anor Londo, especially the aquatic architecture.
Leo noticed his amazement at the architecture and laughed.
"Ha! if you think that's impressive you should see the other works of our resident Architect of Olympus. Annabeth would preen like an owl if she saw your face right now." Leo said.
Inmortui said nothing and just continued to stare... until he registered the fact that a mortal was the one to design the palace of the gods themselves.
"It seems humanity and Gods have a better relationship in this world than in Lordran... good... I think it would hurt if I had to kill my own father... for a second time." Inmortui said, his mistrust of the gods making itself known.
The two... well three... continued to fly over the camp as Leo explained what was what and what goes on in them.
He explained that most of those buildings above the water were built for the children of minor gods, and that they were enchanted to have more room than there rightfully should be, especially for the Hermes cabin.
He pointed their cabin out to Inmortui who saw it looked like a steel trailer that pumped out smoke. He saw quite a few of his siblings there.
And soon enough the tour was concluded they landed at the front door of the Hephaestus cabin. Leo and Inmortui dismounted their Mecha-Drake friend.
"Thanks bud, I'll be sure to oil your scales and gears tomorrow morning." Leo said.
Festus clicked and hummed in response before he turned and took to flight towards the Lava tower.
Leo then turned to Inmortui.
"Alrighty! Time to get you a forge and a bunk before we have to go to-" he was interrupted by a conch sound.
"... dinner" Leo deadpanned
Inmortui rose a brow but said nothing.
Leo quickly turned to him.
"Alright... change of plans. We'll go eat first then we'll get you your room." Leo said slightly annoyed.
Inmortui slightly chuckled but nodded nonetheless.
Soon enough the rest of their brothers and sisters came filing out their cabin door in waves of 15 at a time.
Eventually there stood the rest of their cabinmates, a total of 187 of them. far more than such a small trailer could hold.
Inmortui rose a brow at that, he couldn't sense any spatial enhancing magic in this building, unlike the other cabins. So how could they all fit in one building.
Leo noticed is perplexed expression and smirked, but said nothing.
Leo looked at the rest of his cabin and waved for them to follow, before turning and walking to the dining pavilion, with Inmortui and the rest of the Hephaestus cabin behind him.
Upon arrival Leo was joined by a woman and Inmortui immediately tensed up at her presence, or rather her divine origin.
Let it be known, after lifetimes of serving and dying to gods, he developed a healthy level of distrust of all things divine. The only reason he even put trust in his biological father is because he reminds Inmortui of his smithing teacher Andre of Astora.
Who might as well have been a god of the forge himself, him and the other two blacksmiths were the only one's with enough skill to continue to exist when the fire began to fade the first time, and that says nothing about the fact that Andre himself survived until Inmortui finally ended the Flame.
"Now that I think about it... what's Andre doing now that there's no fire in Lothric? Did he go Hollow? Gods... I hope not..." Inmortui thought with a tinge of regret.
"Ahem..."
Inmortui shook himself out of his thoughts when the sound of someone clearing their throat reached his ears.
He looked to the source to he saw Hephaestus, who he didn't realize was even still in the camp.
The rest of the Hephaestus cabin froze as they saw their collective father, who stood next to Inmortui looking at them with a slight sheepish expression.
"W-would you all mind if I joined you for the night. I'd rather sit here than at the counciler's table..." Hephaestus muttered almost shyly.
The younger of kids all nodded quickly, while the older ones hesitated but agreed, clearly not believing this situation was happening.
Hephaestus sat down next to Leo, who had the woman on the other side of him.
Leo paused when that happened, before a grin tore it's way to his face and he clapped his father on the back.
"Glad to have you here with us old man!" Leo said.
Hephaestus smirked at his son, it had been a long time since he was welcomed like a normal person, not since he was thrown off Olympus in fact, when he was raised by mankind not as a god but as a man.
Inmortui sat at the end of table where hardly anyone sat. The rest weren't avoiding him, he just prefered to sit alone.
He sat and just watched as the rest of his collective siblings sat and talked to their father, with a small smile.
He paused as he felt dark emotions from one of the other cabins, he looked to see the source of the emotions to see the entirety of the Ares Cabin glaring at them in rage and jealousy, some had the urge to kill visible in their eyes.
Hephaestus felt the same thing but stopped as he felt a sense of dread encompass the entire pavilion.
Inmortui stared at them his eyes were shadowed but a glow could be seen, molten like magma.
The Ares cabin began to claw at their throats in pure terror as their air supply was cut off by the rising heat in the area.
Inmortui stood and slowly walked towards them. His glowing eyes burned bright but his face was void of anything but cold ice.
And it terrified them.
From their perspective as they stared at him they saw a Massive Dragon, black scaled with molten eyes, wreathed in black fire, crouched low with it's head tilted to the side mouth agape where Inmortui stood, staring at them.
He continued to walk to them and looked at Clarisse who couldn't move, for fear of her life, she'd never felt anything like the fear she felt now. She'd killed the Drakon one of the most feared Draconian creatures in the greek mythos! And yet this man before her made her feel terror like never before.
To her, he was power incarnate, he was a True Dragon!
"I suggest you control your siblings... if I feel any sort of murderous intent towards the Hephaestus ever again I will not only kill them... I will take their souls and burn them to nothing but Ethereal Ash. Before I take your father's and devour it and make his strength my own. And I will make you watch as this happens, unable to move, or even able to cry out as I burn away everything. Understood?" Inmortui said coldly.
Clarisse whimpered in fear but nodded.
The heat dispersed and he turned away and returned to his spot at the table.
Hephaestus stared at his son, impressed and glad that he defended his siblings. Leo nodded in appreciation as well. But the other Hephaestus kids were a bit put off by his display of raw power.
They were intimidated by him.
Inmortui sat down in his seat and waited.
Chiron cleared his throat, in an attempt to calm his horse based instincts to flee from the dragon in human skin.
What? Horses know that when it comes to Dragons they're the first to die to prevent the rider from escaping.
"W-well... now that... whatever that was, has been settled. We can begin with our evening meal." Chiron said with some small hesitation in his tone.
Meanwhile Mr. D was grinning like a mad scientist after Inmortui's display, but nodded along with Chiron's words.
"Yes yes chow down and what not." Mr D dismissed.
"U-uh Chiron?" a girl from the Athena table spoke up.
"Hm? Yes Maxine? What is it?" Chiron asked.
"W-well... don't we need to introduce... uh.. that guy..." the Athena girl shyly gestured to Inmortui.
"Dammit! You just had to ask!!" The collective thoughts of all the terrified campers... and Chiron.
"Ah... yes well... uh... Um... My boy... care to introduce yourself." Chiron said, deflecting the situation to the undead.
The aforementioned undead sighed and stood again.
"I'm Inmortui Ignis, formerly known as Matthew Smith, I am to be the Pyromancy instructor for the Hephaestus cabin. However I am proficient in all forms of combat as well, including magic. If there's anything you wish to learn from me then don't hesitate to ask. However please note most of my time will be spent with my siblings." Inmortui told the campers who seemed excited at the prospect of magic, especially the Athena and Hecate cabins.
For the time being it seemed like the tension caused by the earlier fiasco had all but passed.
"Ahem. Now that Inmortui has introduced himself. Shell we eat? I feel bad for the nymphs who worked hard on our food. Can't let it get cold now can we?" Chiron joked, which prompted laughed from the campers and giggles from the nymphs.
Once they had done their tribute to their respective parents, they all began to eat with fervor, practically wolfing down the meal like a pack of savage hounds.
Inmortui couldn't help but smile at his siblings as he watched them chat with their collective father and ask for advice in their forging and for ideas. He himself was simply content to watch further away from the group, a glowing white orb of misty energy in his grasp.
Souls. Both the currency and the primary food source for those who bore the curse of the Undead. Even as an Unkindled he had no choice but to eat them for sustenance, even if he no longer had to worry about hollowing and losing himself. He couldn't eat anything else, not even after leaving Lothric.
A passing nymph noticed that the food on his plate was untouched and approached.
"Is the food not to your liking?" She asked him, which slightly startled him.
"No it's not that. The food looks and smells Lovely... It's just that I am unable to consume normal food." He explained.
"Mmm I see. Then I'm guessing that little ball of soul is all you can eat?" She asked him.
"Heh... You would be correct. My name Inmortui is more literal in the terms of what I am." He hinted.
She nodded.
"I know. All of us nymphs and Naiads know what you are. We could tell immediately." She said.
"Hm... that would explain why the Nymphs around us seem uncomfortable with my presence." Inmortui surmised.
"Yup pretty much hit the satyr on the horns there bud." The nymph joked.
"...funny. Now... there's something I'd like to ask you." Inmortui said.
"Shoot." The nymph replied.
"Why are you here? You don't seem uncomfortable around me, unlike the others." He asked.
She just shrugged.
"Eh I was mostly just curious about why you weren't eating. Figured I might as well ask." She said.
He just chuckled at her answer, slightly reminded of the time he and Solair had coincidentally met again in Gwynn's castle. He had said something similar to Solaire if he remembered correctly.
"Well then. Anything else you wanna ask about Ms... I'm sorry I never got your name." Inmortui said with a slight blink of self-surprise.
Normally he would ask for their name before a conversation not during.
"Oh! My bad! My name's Ponderosa. And yes like the pine tree. All nymphs have tree or plant based names. You can just call me Rosa for short though. Pleased to officially meet you." Rosa finally introduced.
"Pleasure is all mine Rosa." Inmortui said with a small smile, prompting a small patch of her pale green skinned face to darken a slightly darker shade of green.
"My are we the gentleman." She replied.
"I may look young but I do know how to treat a lady. I did have a daughter with a dragon woman who had the power to end all life after all." Inmortui said with a smirk.
She blinked at his words.
"Ok... now that's a story I gotta hear..." She said.
He chuckled but shook his head.
"Perhaps some other time. Seems we better follow the others." Inmortui said, the campers all getting up to walk towards something bright in the distance, a bonfire.
"Oh! You go ahead! Nymphs don't really go to the bonfire anymore... not after what happened a few years ago anyways. Long story." She hastily said as she shewed him off towards the rest of the campers.
Inmortui couldn't get a word of reply before he found himself before the bright flame of the bonfire, the rest of the campers were singing and dancing. He himself couldn't help but find himself staring into the flame.
The Pyre brought back unwanted memories, of death and revival, an endless cycle that wouldn't and never will cease.
As he stared at the flames he felt a dainty female hand place itself into his own. He jolted out of his memories and snapped his gaze toward the owner of the hand.
"Hello..." The girl beside him greeted as she looked up at him.
She was short and young in appearance, childlike really. Her hair was covered by an burgandy colored cloak, yet her visible bangs told him her hair was a beautiful Auburn.
Her eyes were a soft chocolate colored, innocent yet wise. Her human appearance didn't fool him however, he could see she was a diety, a very kind and family oriented one.
If he were any other clueless undead he would have likened her presence to Gwynnivere... how he was aware of that woman's true intentions behind her mask of kindness.
Not this goddess however... her presence soothed him in ways that very few had ever managed... her gentle and soothing powers reminded him of his dear Priscilla.
It was because of this he managed to speak.
"Hello... is there something you need M'lady?"
She giggled at his words.
"My, you're so polite. I wasn't expecting that. I was half expecting you to attack me as soon as you registered me." The girl said.
"... You needn't worry about that. I am capable of telling what kind of person someone is by the presence of their soul." He said.
"Oh? Souls huh... I'm afraid that is a Mortal concept. Only Mortals have souls, Gods do not." The girl sighed.
"You are incorrect." He immediately denied.
"Huh? And what makes you so sure?" She asked.
He was silent for a few minutes, long enough she almost disregarded his words, until he held out his left hand.
A golden flame flickered into being, and the girl stared at it in confusion... before her eyes widen in response to several Whispering voices wafting from the gold flame, each telling tales of what they once were, Humans, Monsters, Malformed abominations, Demon... and Gods.
Their voices all hissed at her and demanded she free them from the one who held their power, only to be silenced by Inmortui and assimilated once more into his being.
She looked shaken by what she had heard. The knowledge that a mortal, even if undead, could gain the strength to kill even gods was something to be shocked over.
"Does that prove to you that even Gods have souls?" Inmortui asked.
She slowly nodded.
"Alright then Miss... I'm sorry what is your name? Mine is Inmortui."
"Mmmm before I answer that... what is my Soul like?" She asked him.
He was silent for a second before speaking.
"Like a gentle flame born with the purpose to keep those around you warm and safe... like a hearth or a fireplace during the winter." He told her.
She giggled at that.
"I suppose that is fitting for me. Now to answer your question, I am Hestia, the eldest of the Olympian gods, I no longer possess a throne on Olympus however. It was never really for me. I'm simply content to keep the hearth lit." The now introduced Hestia greeted.
Inmortui could help but chuckle slightly, the irony of his situation wasn't lost on him.
She seemed confused however, until he spoke up to clarify.
"Apoligies, I have spent Millennia dying and reviving to keep a fire blazing, sacrificing mine own flesh and bone as fuel. Each time I was guided by a woman known as a Firekeeper. The irony that I would meet a goddess who fulfills both roles was rather amusing for me." Inmortui said with an amused smile.
Hestia seemed to pout.
"You shouldn't think of other women when you're already with one." She half-teased.
"Oh? Is the little Firekeeper Goddess jealous?" Inmortui teased her back.
She shot him a playful glare, prompting him to smirk.
After a few seconds they began to snicker.
"You're pretty funny for a kid." She said with a grin.
"Look who's talking. If anything I'm the older one here. I may have been born in this age, but I spent tens of thousands of years as an Undead in Lordan and Lothric." Inmortui shot back, slightly annoyed at being called a kid.
"Hmmm... that's fair. However you are the son of my Nephew and he's younger than me, so it would make more sense for me to be the older one." She replied.
Inmortui had to concede to her logic at that.
"So what... should I just call you Aunt Hestia?" Inmortui asked.
"Mmmm Nope." She popped the P after thinking for a bit.
Inmortui rose a brow of inquiry.
"The only kid I let call me that is Percy... and Apollo, but that's because he refuses to stop." Hestia said, with a sigh at the end.
Inmortui nodded in understanding.
"Then what would you prefer I call you?" he asked.
She seemed to think about it for a second or two.
"Hestia for now. You've long since earned the right to address me informally. Out of all the demigods and even other gods I have met, you are the only person who knows what it means to bear the burden of keeping the flame lit... and knows what happens when you let it extinguish." She said.
"... Hephaestus showed you my memories didn't he..." Inmortui sighed.
She nodded.
"Yes and surprisingly you have not gained Zeus' ire or his paranoia. In fact you reminded him of himself back when he was younger and that earned you his respect. A rare thing for a demigod to earn from him."
"I'm flattered, but I do not need a God's respect." Inmortui said in an apathetic tone.
Hestia nodded in understanding.
"That is understandable, Gods have only caused you suffering after all." Hestia said.
"... Almost all of them anyways. There were some... exceptions." He said, Priscilla, Gwyndolyn, and a few others.
Gwyndolyn was a bit of a surprise. The god of the Darkmoon had been livid when they'd first met... and for good reason, seeing as he'd tripped when meeting the illusion of Gwynnivere and accidentally flung his sword into her eye... not his proudest moment.
Luckily he managed to apologize before getting skewered by the youngest child of Gwynn's arrows... he still got skewered of course, but his still managed to croak out his Apology.
After literally apologizing to death it seemed Gwyndolyn had forgiven him, judging by the fact the God would follow him everywhere, and would even stop by the bonfires to make casual conversation.
Gwyndolyn was in the terms of this world... a Trap. He looked, and was raised, like a woman but was undoubtedly a man... Inmortui had found that out the hard way.
Long story short, he was exploring the castle when he accidentally walked in on Gwyndolyn at the Royal bath house and ended up skewered by hundreds of arrows.
A certain bronze armored Firekeeper teased him for days on end afterwards.
Inmortui had been utterly pissed when he saw what Aldrich had done to Gwyndolyn, and has taken great satisfaction in burning that Parasite to ashes, even if he didn't remember why at the time.
His attention returned to Hestia when she tugged on his clothes.
"Hm? Sorry, was thinking of... old friends." He muttered.
She nodded in understanding and was about to speak when Leo's voice called from the crowd.
"Hey! Bro! Where you at? We gotta get movin'. Time to get you, your room."
Inmortui looked apologetic at the childlike goddess who simply smiled at him.
"Go on. It would be hypocritical for the goddess of family to keep you away from yours. It was a pleasure to meet you Inmortui. I look forward to future meetings. Farewell my undead Nephew. Oh and I should warn you. The children of my brother Hades may try to attack you as they're tasked with rounding up the souls that escaped the underworld during the last war. They may very well mistake you for one of them. I will discuss the situation with Hades, however for the time being you should lay low." Hestia said.
Inmortui nodded in thanks.
"I appreciate the concern but I doubt they could do anything to me. I have killed one god of death already, demigods would be child's play." Inmortui said.
"Of that I do not doubt. However my brother Hades... has been known to hold a deep Grudge and deeply cares for his children, and those who hurt them always end up on his bad side. So please... behave." Hestia sighed.
"Ah I see. Very well. I will do as asked. But just know I will defend myself if they do attack me." Inmortui agreed.
She nodded.
"Good. Now I shall take my leave. Have a good evening my Nephew." She said before fading into flame.
"...Good night Goddess of Firekeepers." Inmortui said softly before walking off to find his brother.
Leo gave the grand tour of Casa Del Hephaestus. (Leo's words not his.)
Inmortui was impressed by the underground city the Hephaestus cabin had constructed and he didn't hesitate to voice it.
"This is impressive. How long did it take to build this?" He asked.
"Well I'm not entirely sure about the details, this was here when I got here. According to the older of us, the tunnels are considered to be part of the Cabin by the Magic of the camp, so if the camp ever moves the tunnels will follow. We expanded them as time went on." Leo explained with a grin.
"Interesting... so more than Likely these tunnels were built by the first generations of Hephaestus children during their time in ancient Greece." Inmortui surmised as his eyes scanned over ancient stone pillars, clearly from ages long past.
"Probably. Annabeth thought the same thing when we let her come down her a few months ago." Leo shrugged.
"I take it that Annabeth is the Architect of Olympus?" Inmortui asked, already knowing the answer.
"Nail on the head bro. From what I heard she's always been obsessed with Architecture. She actually helps us design stuff down here from time to time." Leo said.
Inmortui hummed in response as they passed some ancient buildings, which soon seemed to get newer and newer as they went deeper into the city.
For a brief instance he thought he heard faint whispers, but as he glanced around there was nothing.
"Yeah I'm sure you've noticed that the older buildings are closed to the surface. We have an elevator buuuuut.. I thought you might appreciate the tour, who knows you might find a room you like up here." Leo shrugged.
"What do you mean?" Inmortui asked.
"Well... usually when we choose a room for ourselves we look for the one that's right for us. Uh... How can I put this... the rooms... 'call out' to us in some way." Leo said.
Inmortui paused as he heard the whispers again louder this time, and he speaks.
"Call out in what way..."
Leo shrugged.
"Eh it all depends on the person. Some smell things related to home and safety, others hear things familiar to them. Another weird thing we've noticed is that the room always changes to something familiar to a person, like an old home or place of interest." Leo explained.
Inmortui stood silent for a second before a very familiar whispered voice reached his ears.
"This way..."
Inmortui immediately broke out into a sprint towards the voice.
"Eh?! Bro!? Don't tell me... your room is calling?! Already!?" Aarh!! Dammit Wait up!!" Leo shouted as he gave chase.
Inmortui ignored him as he raced through the winding alleyways of the ancient underground city, the ages of human development seeming to pass like he was sprinting through time itself.
"Almost... closer... closer...!"
The voice continued to get louder with each age that seemed to pass, until the architecture reached the age of the 5th century the start of the middle ages.
"Here... I'm here... come to me..." The voice beckoned to the still running Inmortui, somewhere within the area of 5th century Castle styled structures a door slamming open could be heard, and an Icy gust could be felt as it rushed past his heated skin.
He was panting from his dead sprint but he kept running, he had to keep moving.
He could feel his dagger, Priscilla, humming in the sheathe the closer he got to the voice's origin.
Suddenly a pale mist spread from the medieval houses around him.
"Stop him!"
"He's headed for the Dragon Abomination's prison!"
"He must not reach her!"
Several dozen ghostly knights of mist tan out of the homes.
"She's really here...but how...!?" Inmortui whispered to himself before he felt a surge of righteous anger within him.
"You called her an Abomination... and now you try to keep me from her!? How dare you!? NONE OF YOUR SOULS SHALL ESCAPE ME!" He roared his rage.
His left hand was set ablaze before the flame took the shape of a curved sword of flame, the Demon's Scar.
A Pyromancy flame that took the form of a curved sword. He'd earned the weapon during his travels to the ringed city, by killing a pair of demons who in actuality were the demon prince that Lorian had failed to finish off.
His right hand found purchase on the hilt of Priscilla, his dagger, the tiny bell on the pommel chimed as he pulled it free of the sheathe.
These were the only weapons he currently possessed as his primary weapons and armor had been stored within his Bonfire Chest.
But that didn't phase him for even a second, after all he may be a Swordsman, but his real talents were for Flame, Miracles and the Arcane.
He roared and charged at the ghosts, who all stood in formation to intercept his charge, only for that formation to be destroyed by an ethereal Scythe, one that eats life, The Lifehunt Scythe miracle. The ghostly forms of the long dead never had a chance against it.
Their souls wailed as they vanished in a burst of mistly light.
But more ghosts kept coming from the stone buildings, several hundred wielding a ghostly pale white flame.
"Grrr!" He let out an annoyed growl as he was forced to dodge several balls of ghostly flame.
"I need to clear a path through the Knights to get to the Pyromancers!" he thought with a glare.
His Demon's Scar became ball of black fire, before he slammed his left hand into the cobblestone walkway, sending a trail of black flame that snaked through the ghost's formation and incinerated the offending Knights.
Now with a path open, he rushed the Flame using Ghosts. The Knights tried to stop him but found the ethereal blade of the Lifehunt Scythe cleaving through them like a hot knife through warm butter.
Now all that was left were the Pyromancer ghosts.
"So you wanna play with fire huh..." He began.
The Scythe vanished into wisps of ether, as Inmortui resheaths the dagger and a second Demon Scar flares to life in his right hand.
"well lets see if you can take the heat!" He shouted as he executed a pyromancy of his own creation.
His dual Demon's Scar fluctuated before fusing and changed in both color and shape. Now they were black and shaped like a massive bansho fan. This spell was a combination of the Flame Fan spell he had learned after meeting the Desert Pyromancer Zoey, and the Black Flame spell.
A real beauty Zoey was. She'd not only charmed the feeble ones with her looks alone, but had even nearly charmed him. Had he not been still pissed from his fight with Aldrich a few days prior... he probably would have slept with her.
Back to the fight however.
He called the Pyromancy he'd developed, Black Flame Bansho.
The ghostly pyromancers all gawked at the mastery of fire he displayed, and began to step back one by one in sheer terror.
His face twisted into a savage grin that would have made a certain red trenchcoated vampire proud.
Heat began buildup on the flat of the fan, as he spoke.
"Back to the Abyss you Pathetic excuse for Pyromancers." His tone was cold, yet his smile was still sadistic.
With all his might he swung the fan, sending a cone of black flames spiraling like a tornado at the ghosts. They tried to flee but it was all for naught as the black flame overtook them, all that was left of them was a single ghostly pale flame.
Inmortui approached the flame with narrowed eyes. As he got closer the flame seemed to sense it and drifted towards him until eventually he was face to face with it.
He reached his flaming left hand towards the ball of white flame. Unknown to him the ghostly mist had returned, at his ankles.
His hand touches the white flame, which then intensifies into a raging inferno as it seemed to quickly encroach upon his hand.
"..." He looked at the flame curiously before he felt something invade his body.
"If we cannot drive you away... then we will take your flesh and use you to drive others away mortal!" the collective voice of the slain ghosts hissed within his mind.
"... yeah uh... that's not gonna work." Inmortui deadpanned aloud.
"...What?" They hissed again confused as to why he showed no signs of their possession.
"Yeah uh... hate to break it to you but... oh who am I kidding I love it when souls try to possess me when they don't know what I am!" Inmortui laughed.
"Stop speaking in riddles Mortal!" the ghostly voices hissed in his mind.
"Ok one. My head my rules, and rule one is NO SHOUTING!" he roared.
"Aaaaaargh!!?" Several voices screeched in agony as his Unkindled body began to consume some of them.
"W-what is this!!? What kind of Monster are you!?!" the ghosts stuttered in terror.
"And that brings me to two... I'm an Undead! I eat souls like you literally for dinner! And a foreign soul could never control my body, even with more than one of you. You'd have to be a god to do that... OH WAIT! I've killed and eaten the souls of Gods as well!" He cackled as the souls that invaded his body began to realize just how much they fucked up.
"Oh gods! Noooooooo-Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah..." The remaining souls screamed as they were devoured like the one prior.
Inmortui lets out a comical burp with a smirk, before speaking.
"Thanks for the meal boys..." he began, before holding out his left hand.
"And. Thank. You. For this!" he cockily finished, putting emphasis on each word. His hand burst into the same white flame, which he now knew as Ghostflame
"Hm... interesting, it's cold... and it feels a lot like..." he narrowed his eyes before he pulled out Priscilla again, the Lifehunt Scythe took form once more, he examined the ethereal Scythe and compared it to the Ghostflame.
"I was right... Looks like this 'Ghostflame' was a bastardization of the Lifehunt Scythe... if that isn't proof enough that she's here... the. I don't know what else there could be.." He muttered before returning the dagger to the sheathe and snuffing out the white flame with a clenched fist.
He looked ahead of what was once his battleground, and saw the open door to his future room.
From where he currently stood all he could see was a white light.
He didn't even stop to think before he took off towards the door, unaware that Leo had caught up during his battle and gaped at his brother's control over his fire.
Leo followed after him at a slower pace, he could see the door that Inmortui was heading towards and decided to wait for the Undead outside of the room.
Inmortui crossed the threshold of the door and found himself in a room that was very familiar to him.
Circular in shape, several stone pillars that extended high into the chamber, showing a floor above his current position. He knew there were more floors above that one as well.
It was a perfect replica of Priscilla's tower, but it was perfectly intact. The only key differenct he could see was on the floor he was currently on. It had been changed from a simple flat circle into the Firelink shrine in Lothric, complete with a swordless Bonfire, just like it had been when he first met the Firekeeper.
Luckily he had time to spare at the moment, which he used to sort through his Bonfire Chest, which he always carried, and rooted around the contents for the twisted sword.
"...Ugh I really need to clean this out. Oh! Here it is!" Inmortui pulled out the sword with a flourish, immediately planting the tip into the bone pile.
The fire sparked to life and he felt an invigorating rush from the fire as he felt his body be recharged by the fire.
He got up and stretched his body, even cracking his neck a couple times.
"Alright..." he murmured, his eyes snapping open, "let's go find my Priscilla."
He rushed the nearby staircase, which he knew would take him to the next floor.
The next several floors were empty and seemed to be decorated for people living. There was not a ghostly guard or anything in sight, it was only when he got to the last floor that he found who he was looking for.
Suspended in the air by golden chain connected to the roof, was Priscilla. She was painfully thin, and her formerly beautiful white cloak was a dirty gray, and her fluffy tail that he loved to use as a pillow was matted and dirty, as was her long white hair. Which curtained over her eyes due to her head hanging limp.
Below her body, the true Lifehunt Scythe was impaled into the ground before a curled heap of scales and some sort of dark skinlike material.
But he wasn't paying attention to that, he only saw Priscilla.
"Priscilla!" He called out to her.
Chains rattled as she lifted her limp head, and gazed at him with empty eyes which seemed to register his presence and regain bit of light to them.
"I-Iggy?" She murmured, slightly delirious.
Despite himself he couldn't help but blush at the petname she'd given him.
"That's right m'love... I'm here to save you. By the Flame... I have so much to tell you..." He breathed out, his eyes tearing up slightly.
"B-be... careful... of... the S-scaled... R-reaper... it... h-has... my power..." she weakly told him, which made him glance at the mass on the floor.
As if on cue the mass of Scale and dark skin began to move, revealing a tall figure.
It was Humanoid in shape, but it was covered in a scale armored, hooded cloak made of blackened Skin. Beneath the cloak a skeleton of solid black iron (Stygian Iron) could be seen as it walked silently towards the original Lifehunt Scythe.
Skeletal fingers of Black Iron gripped the handle, before pulling the blade free of the stone flooring. It swung the Scythe with enough force to send a gust of wind towards Inmortui, kicking up dust along the way.
It's Skeletal jaw opened to release a bone chilling wail, a familiar mist wafting from its mouth.
Inmortui glared at the wannabe Grim Reaper with so much acidity it might have melted the metal skeleton then and there.
He quickly unsheathed his Priscilla dagger, and with a chime of the small bell his own Lifehunt Scythe appeared in all its Ethereal glory, this garnered two different reactions.
The Skeleton released a hiss of outrage at the sight of another Lifehunt Scythe. Priscilla on the otherhand found it endearing.
The Scaled Reaper was about to charge at Inmortui when the Undead vanished.
"Kssss!?" It hissed in shock as it looked around but didn't see any sign of him. Realization dawned within its black sockets, it snapped its head upwards only to see empty space and several sliced chains.
It snapped its head back down to see Inmortui leaning the woman down against the wall.
"Stay here m'love... I'll get your things back for you." Inmortui muttered as he stood.
She weakly nodded, his back already facing her.
He cracked his neck and glared at the Reaper.
"I'll be taking back what you stole now. Whether you like it or not." He said.
"KssSssSssSssSss!" the Reaper hissed out which was clearly a mocking laugh.
"Laugh all you want... You're going to die here regardless." Inmortui said with no emotion.
The skeleton stopped laughing upon hearing that, taking a two handing stance with the Scythe, for a sweep attack.
Inmortui simply held his left hand out, a Demon's Scar formed out of Ghostflame appeared in his grasp. His own Lifehunt Scythe was held in a manner that was similar to Friede's Scythe stance.
Pointed outwards at a diagonal position, curved blade pointed towards the enemy, ready to both hook them and to slice them.
They began to slowly approach each other, making their way to the center of the room.
The soon stood face to face, glaring at each other.
"Ksssshreeeee!" With a hissing shriek the Reaper swung its stolen weapon which was blocked in a split second by the White Demon's Scar, or Phantom's Scar for the sake of naming.
"Nrgh!" He grunted at the impact from the blocked blow. He retaliated by swinging his own Scythe at the Reaper's head, only for it to skillfully rotate it's weapon's shaft to intercept the attack.
Now they were locked in a stalemate, Phantom Scar held back the OG Lifehunt Scythe's blade, while the OG Lifehunt's Shaft held back the Ethereal copy. But that wasn't enough to stop Inmortui.
With some quick thinking he caused the Phantom scar's white flame to intensify, before it latched onto the skeletal arm of the Reaper.
The black iron creature shrieked again, this time in pain as the Ghostflame did what it was meant for, burning the soul.
That brief distraction was all Inmortui needed to send a powerful kick to the Skeleton's midsection, sending it tumbling backwards, as it clutched its hand in literal phantom pain, its stolen scythe had been dropped as a result.
Inmortui angled the blade of his own Ethereal Scythe towards the blazing white flame in his left hand, which he then ran along the blade.
As he did so, the Ghostflame lit itself upon the ghostly Lifehunt's blade. He then took the weapon into both hands and got into a sweeping stance.
"... Pathetic... a fake reaper like you could never hope to ever master that weapon..." he said to the Skeleton that gazed up at him, it's metal bones rattled as it shook in fear.
Inmortui narrowed his eyes before he powered more power into the white flame for a final time. As a result the flame intensified before seeming to solidify into the shape of a massive blade of white fire.
"...Let your souls be devoured by this... Lifehunting flame!" He shouted as he swung the massive Scythe into the body of the Skeleton, completely incinerating the souls within the metal skeleton body.
The remains of the Scale Reaper clattered to the stone flooring with a resonant chime.
Inmortui's Lifehunt Scythe miracle fades away as he finally ran out of Focus Power, now all he had was his Stamina to keep him going. He made his way to the fallen OG Lifehunt Scythe, and gingerly picked it up, before using it like a walking stick as he returned to Priscilla.
He leaned against the cobblestone wall before he slid down to sit beside her with a weary sigh, he placed her weapon onto her lap.
She slid her head down to place it upon his his orange shirted shoulder. It was then he noticed that she was shorter than he'd last seen her. Before she was an unimaginably tall and possessed a beauty of ethereal proportions. Now she was the height of a normal human sized woman.
She was still beautiful, despite how dirty she was after spending who knows how long chained up in that room.
They sat in silence for several minutes, Inmortui stuggled to find the courage to question her on how she was even there.
Soon enough Inmortui heard soft snores from Priscilla, who had fallen asleep on his shoulder, whatever ordeal she had endured for however long had finally caught up to her in the form of exhaustion.
His gaze softened as he knew now wasn't the time to question her. His first priority was for her to rest and recover, so that's what he'll let her do.
He gently shifted his body so he could slip his arms to be able to pick her up bridal style.
He lifted her into his arms, the sudden shift in movement caused her to moan in her sleep.
"Mmmm... Iggy..."
He flushed pink when he heard her say his petname in her sleep.
"Dammit... I forgot how cute she is when she's asleep." he muttered slightly embarrassed.
He then left the floor the fight had taken place, but not before glancing back at the soulless Scale Reaper's black iron corpse with narrowed eyes.
"Why was Priscilla here... why exactly did the older Cabin 9 members hold her here... That's something I have no clue about... But there's someone who might." Inmortui's eyes glinted before he walked out of the room to find a place for Priscilla to rest.
Leo sighed for the umpteenth time that night as he waited for the door, his Undead sibling entered, to open.
"Dammit! How long is this gonna take! Man! And Calypso was making Empanadas tonight... I skipped dinner for that! And now I gotta wait for the new guy..." He complains, letting loose a sigh.
"Man being cabin councilor sucks..." Leo finished.
"You didn't have to wait for me."
"Holyshitwhatthefuck!" Leo shouted as he practically leaped five feet into the air like a loony toons character.
"Sorry, didn't mean to surprise you." Inmortui said as he closed the door silently behind him.
"O-oh! It's just you! Bout time! You found your room I'm guessing?" Leo asked.
Inmortui nodded.
"Yeah... and then some." he replied as he pushed passed Leo, who noticed something was up.
"Whoa whoa whoa man! What's the rush? What happened?" Leo said, stopping the undead to look at him face to face.
Inmortui sighed in slight aggravation before speaking.
"I found her."
Leo blinked, before realizing just who the undead meant.
"Y-you mean!? That dragon chica?!" Leo exclaimed in shock.
Inmortui nodded.
"She was chained to the roof on the top floor... my room... it took the shape of our old home, mine and her's I mean." He sighed.
"But how? I thought you said she was long gone." Leo asked.
"That's what I thought... but apparently I was wrong. She somehow ended up here... chained up by ancient children of Hephaestus and guarded by a Skeletal Grim Reaper wannabe made of some sort of black Iron. What I want to know is why." He said with steel in his tone.
Leo looked down in thought, his eyes arrowed as he now understood why Inmortui was in such a rush. He wanted to talk to Hephaestus before he left the camp.
Leo locked eyes with his brother.
"Let's get moving. We'll have to sneak past the Harpies because of curfew. They'll try to eat us otherwise." he said.
"No need. I technically fall under the instructor position rather than camper, they should leave us alone. Then again... if they don't, I'll just kill them." Inmortui said, his hands sparked with a little flame at that.
Leo shook his head.
"No. No killing them. They protect us during the night, and it's not their fault. They can't tell the difference between us and spies. Demigods in the dark literally all look alike to Harpies. They don't see us through their eyes at night like normal people do. A Harpy eye's see our godly auras, and can sense our mortality as colors, primarily as Golden." Leo said.
Inmortui let loose another sigh.
"Fine I won't kill them. However... if what you say is true then we should be alright." He said.
"What do you mean?" Leo asked with slight confusion.
"I may be a Demigod, but remember... I'm just as monstrous as they are. If not more so." Inmortui said with a smirk.
Thirty or so minutes passed as Inmortui and Leo stepped out of Cabin 9 into the cool night air. Immediately they made a beeline towards the Big House. It had only been a few minutes when they heard the screeching of several Harpies... directly in their path.
"Look sisters Look!" one said as they see the two.
"We see them! Our little late night snacks." another said annoyed at the first harpy.
"Oh what fun! I sure hope they scream when we eat them." a third and final harpy said with a cackle.
Inmortui narrowed his eyes into a glare at the bird-like women.
They were similar to some harpies he had met in Lothric, if a little bigger in height... and other extremititties-extremeties! Yeah extremities.
Did he mention they wore nothing to cover their torso?
Inmortui had to elbow Leo in the ribs to get him to stop staring, before stepping forward.
"We're not intruders. I am Inmortui Ignis son of Hephaestus, I'm a new instructor at the camp. The one beside me is Leo Valdez, my brother and Cabin 9's counselor. We need to speak to Chiron and Hephaestus at the Big House. If you continue to stop us from reaching there I will use force." Inmortui announced.
"Lies?" the first harpy hissed confused.
"No. Not Lies. He is telling the Truth." The second said.
"Hmmm, broken curfew you two have." The third said, scratching her chin.
"Yes we did Master Yoda now let us through. This is important business." Leo quipped.
"Important in what way?" the second harpy asked.
"Important enough to decide whether or not I kill every single deity in the Olympian pantheon and claim their powers as my own." Inmortui said menacingly.
The second harpy began to shiver as she sensed the trust of his ability to do so. This prompted the first harpy to look worried at her sister. The third however was miffed about the Yoda comment from Leo.
"My name is not Yoda godling!" she hissed before charging before her sisters could warn her.
It all happened in a split second. One second she was flying through the air towards Leo, the next had her with a blazing palm gripping her face before being slammed into the ground by Inmortui.
The Harpy screeched at the undead as the burning fingers that clutched her face, both pinning her down and burning her. She tried to scratch at him only to freeze when her eyes met his through parted fingers.
The smell of urine soon penatrated the air as the Harpy voided her bladder in unimaginable terror at what she saw in them. Her eyes soon rolled back into her head as she passed out from fear.
Inmortui released her face and stood to his full height, staring at the remaining Harpies.
"Now... are you going to let us through... or do you need more convincing." He growled out.
They shivered as he glared at them, before parting to let them through.
Inmortui's glare lightened, before he and Leo walked past them towards the Big House in the near distance.
They reached the Big House only a few minutes later and Inmortui knocked, hard.
The door open and a groggy Chiron was revealed, horse legs on full display and a sleeping cap on his head... the scene was straight out of a cartoon with how comical the centaur looked.
Inmortui ignored the quiet snickering of Leo behind him and spoke.
"Sorry to bother you so late. I need to speak to Hephaestus... and maybe you. You also might have some answers to what I need to discuss. And no. I can't wait until morning. This is urgent." Inmortui said his tone was serious like the grave.
Chiron stared at him for a brief instance before allowing him and Leo to enter.
"Please come in. And make yourselves comfortable I will see if Lord Hephaestus is awake. We will join you shortly." Chiron said gesturing to the living room for them to sit down in.
Inmortui nodded and the two went to sit on a nearby sofa.
They sat in silence for several minutes before Chiron returned, joined by Hephaestus who seemed a little concerned about what they could need him for.
Inmortui stood again and stared at Hephaestus with a slight edge to them.
Seeing that Hephaestus looked even more concerned.
"Inmortui is something the matter? Did something happen?" Hephaestus asked.
"You tell me. Wanna explain why Priscilla was chained to the roof of one of the building in Cabin 9's underground city? Specifically in buildings made during the 5th Century?" Inmortui said with a harsh tone.
Hephaestus' eyes widen in genuine shock at what he had heard, Chiron's too.
"W-what!?" he stuttered.
"That's impossible! How could she have been in Cabin 9? Either me or Mr D would have sensed her!" Chiron informed.
"And yet there she was! Chained to the roof by the ghosts of past Hephaestus children! Some of which used white ghostly flames that were created from stolen fragments of Priscilla's power! On top of that! A skeleton grim reaper with bones made of Black fucking Iron was using her Scythe! To guard her from outsiders!" Inmortui said, his tone steadily shifting to a shout as he spoke.
Hephaestus paled at the mention of the white flames, even more so at the mention of the black iron reaper.
"Oh chaos no..." Hephaestus breathed out.
"What is it old man?" Leo spoke for the first time, having stood to place his hand on Inmortui's shoulder.
"...Leo... I told you that my fire was a trait that I could choose to allow to be born into one of my children correct?" Hephaestus asked.
"Yeah? What about it?" Leo replied.
"That wasn't always the case... before all of my children could be born with the powers of fire like you could, but sometime during the 5th century my Children discovered a new flame that I had no knowledge of. It was white as a ghost... and burned not the flesh but the soul." Hephaestus began as he looked at Inmortui.
"I did not know where the flame originated, until today that is. However as their powers over the white flame grew, so did their lust for more power and eventually they joined with the growing faith of Christianity... and were involved in the Witchhunts. They were also the ones to accuse Joan of Arc who btw was a daughter of Athena, of being a witch, before buring her at the stake." Hephaestus sighed his sadness apparent.
Leo was horrified by the revelation of his long dead siblings being responsible for one of the most horrific thing to occur in history. Inmortui merely narrowed his eyes.
"And then what?" Inmortui pressured.
"... Athena got pissed at me for what happened to her daughter, and came to me to show what my children and their descendants had done to Joan. I was angry by what they had done. So I appeared that day and... killed them... with their own flames. That day I swore that I would only allow those worthy of fire to wield it. But I always wondered where that white flame came from... guess you filled in the blanks for me." Hephaestus finished.
Inmortui grit his teeth in seething rage at what he'd been told.
"They did not fear the flame." Inmortui growled through gritted teeth.
Chiron and Hephaestus understood what he meant by that, Leo however...
"What? Fear the flame? Why would they fear it if they could control it?" the teen asked.
It was Hephaestus who answered.
"Son... remember what happened to your mother?"
Leo immediately winced at the reminder.
"Oh..."
Hephaestus nodded.
"Though thou ist born of Flame.
Thou must never forget that Fire couldst one day
Your life, Reclaim.
Embrace your soul of embers.
For it shall guide you through times most dark.
But never forget...
Fear the flame."
Inmortui recited the words of his adopted mother, her own rendition of the pyromancer's creed.
Chiron hummed appreciating at the poem.
"Very true." the centaur said.
"What was that about?" Leo asked.
"That was the phrase my mother beat into my head before she truly taught me Pyromancy. And it seems I will have to do the same here. I had planned to go easy on you all. However for the sake of making sure history doesn't repeat itself, that will no longer be the case. I will personally make sure you all Fear the Flame." Inmortui growled out.
"Well... you don't have to worry about me in that... I've been terrified of my own powers since I was a kid. A goddess of earth made my powers go berserk and they ended up burning my mother alive..." Leo sighed.
Inmortui felt sorry for him, however it was a lesson that needed to be learned either way.
"I'm sorry for your loss. I've lost close friends and family too. Heh you remind me of a some of them actually." Inmortui said with a smile.
"Really? What were they like?" Leo asked
"You remind me the most of my friend Siegward. He was a Knight who sought to keep a promise to an old friend. He was a fun person, and we'd sometimes drink together when we met. I think I still have a cast or two of the Siegbraū he always made actually." Inmortui laughed at his fond memories of the man, an obvious descendant of Siegmeyer if there ever was one.
"What about the others?" Leo asked.
"Mm well there Laurentius and Patches... not entirely sure how I feel about the later though..." Inmortui said.
"What kind of name is Patches?" Leo asked.
"Long story. Anyways the guys was one hell of a prankster. Always seemed to love kicking me into places where there was supposed to be treasure, only for there to be some sort of unholy monstrosity instead." Inmortui chuckled.
Leo blinked, he was a prankster no doubt, but he didn't know how to feel about being compared to a guy who repeatedly tried to kill his brother.
"Uh... And the other guy?"
"Oh... right Laurentius... He was a Pyromancer like us, and Undead like me. He was always excited to learn more... but his excitement to learn caused him to take a risk and leave the safety of our home. When I found him... he had lost his mind... and became what is known as a Hollow... I was forced to kill him... to put him to rest. He taught me a few Pyromancy spell I hadn't known about. Such as creating a poisonous mist-like smoke and how to hasten the body's ability to sweat to reduce getting damaged by extreme heat and several other basic Pyromancies." Inmortui said.
"Oh..." Leo said quiet at the knowledge that he had killed his friend.
"Ahem... we seem to be off topic." Chiron said to them.
"Right... Sorry." Leo said.
"Right. Now that I know why Priscilla was chained up in the undergrounds of Cabin 9. What I need to know is how she ended up here during 5th century." Inmortui said.
"If I may. I think I might have a theory on that." Chiron said.
They all looked at the centaur for him to continue.
"As I'm sure you know or have guessed... there are multiple pantheons that exist all over the world." Chiron looked at them, they nodded.
"Well these pantheons try to keep out of each other's ways and areas. This is why the Romans were on the West with us Greeks in the East of the US. The Norse also have claim to some areas of the US namely Boston. Now this is the important part. The Norse pantheon is split amongst 9 realms. With Earth being their Midgard. However it is a known fact that there are many other realms besides the 9, other pantheons have claim over those, like the Duat of the Egyptian pantheon."
Chiron paused to check if they understood his words which they did.
"I suspect that you were brought to one of those unknown realms that lay parallel to ours, where time is... warped heavily. And at some point Priscilla was brought to ours, but to some point in the past." Chiron finished his speculations with a slight nod.
"That would makes sense... Solaire always did say Time worked strangely in Lordran..." Inmortui surmised to himself.
"Indeed." Chiron sighed.
"Wait wait wait! Hold up! You came from another Realm?!" Leo asked Inmortui incredulous.
Inmortui sighed and looked at his father who nodded and waved his hand, the orb of memories appeared and began their playthrough of his life up until he returned to earth.
Leo was practically in tears when he saw the horrific shit Inmortui had gone through.
"Waaaaa! Duuuuude! You've had such a tough life!!!!!" Leo comically cried, hugging the slightly annoyed Undead by the waist. Said Undead kept trying to pry him off him but to no avail.
Once Leo calmed down, and had released Inmortui, he cleared his throat and spoke.
"But seriously dude... no wonder you're so strong. You've literally been fighting gods and other shit! I mean we did that too... but you were almost always alone! And you killed the gods!!" Leo exclaimed in amazement, arms held, dramatically, up in the air.
Inmortui couldn't help but chuckle at that.
"Yeah well... you learn a thing or two after dying over and over again." Inmortui said with a uneasy smile.
"Y-yeah no kidding..." Leo muttered, a little glad he only had to die once for them to win.
Inmortui chuckled again before returning his attention to the amused face of Chiron.
"Chiron, you mentioned the realms are parallel to ours, but how would one get from one realm to another without meaning to?" Inmortui asked, this was about his going to Lordran.
"Hmm well from what I can tell by your memories, you were brought to that world by the first Flame via an object that had been sent to our realm at somepoint. Hmmm... perhaps... no... but it's the only option that has any sense..." Chiron explained before seeming to realize something.
"What is it?" Inmortui asked curious.
"You were taken by the first flame at a Bonfire that was in an old Germanic Castle build sometime during the 5th century correct?" Chiron asked, but he said it more like a statement.
"Yeah. That's right. Why?" Inmortui said.
"Think about it... how did a bonfire from Lordran get into our relm?" Chiron asked.
"Well like I said earlier, Lordran was a place where time and space act very odd." Inmortui said.
"Exactly. The time and space between Lordran and Earth are very much unsynced, and when did Priscilla appear in our world?" Chiron asked.
"The 5th century or so." Inmortui said.
"Exactly 16 centuries before you were taken to Lordran. And Priscilla recognized you correct?" Chiron said.
"Yeah she uh... called me by her petname for me..." Inmortui said with slight pink in his cheeks.
"Exactly! She recognized you. How? When she came during the 5th century, and you during the 21st? And how did the bonfire get there? It couldn't have appeared out of nowhere. She must have brought it with her when she came to our world. Which then established the connection between the two realms! Which then lead to the flame being able to take you to Lordran where you would meet Priscilla and then she would come to our world likely looking for you!" Chiron exclaimed in amazement.
"Chiron what are you saying?" Inmortui asked slightly confused.
"My dear undead I'm saying you're the reason Priscilla came to our world, but she is the reason you were able to go to Lordran to meet her in the first place! You two are a literally flesh and blood time paradox! Oh this is fascinating!" Chiron exclaime with excitement.
"Woah... sound like an episode of Doctor Who..." Leo said, all the information going straight over his head, but h3 at least somewhat understood.
Inmortui looked shocked at this.
"So... if I had never met and fallen in love with Priscilla while I was in Lordran... I never would have gone to Lordran in the first place? Then how would I still be in Lordan?" Inmortui asked.
"That's the thing! You're already there! And things done can't be undone so you'd still be living in Lordan." Chiron finished.
Now Leo's eyes were swimming with all the time information that had been shoved into his head, he honestly thought that words would come spilling out of his ears with how much new and confusing information was in his head.
"This is so complicated..." Leo mumbled.
"You're telling me son..." Hephaestus said equally as confused.
"This is so fucked..." Inmortui sighed as he took a seat on the couch, rubbing his temples to stave of the growing headache.
"Indeed it his, however there is... a silver lining to this." Chiron told them.
"And that is?" Inmortui asked.
Chiron looked at him with a sly smile and a certain twinkle in his eye.
"You're now reunited with your beautiful Dragon wife of course." Chiron said.
Leo and Hephaestus couldn't help but snicker as they saw Inmortui's cheeks turn pink.
"S-shut up! ... but still true." Inmortui stuttered but agreed nonetheless.
Chiron couldn't contain himself at that and ended up joining Leo and Hephaestus in laughter.
"Grrrr... I hate you all." Inmortui growled halfheartedly. He was just glad that Priscilla was safe... but one thing was for certain.
She had a lot of explaining to do.
[A/N: pheew! man was I not expecting the turnout for the previous chapter! Sorry this one took so long, ended up with writers block for this story about halfway through. Luckily ya boi gets his inspiration from something that has its own source! Aka... dark souls. Love it I tell ya.
I hope some of you like the fact I brought Priscilla back into this. And just to let you all know, I will be doing a large flashback for Priscilla and how she got to Earth.
I also hope someone could understand what I was talking about with that time paradox I came up with... because I don't! Seriously it popped into my head to make Priscilla come to earth during the 5th century, and be the one to place the Bonfire that took Inmortui to Lordran.
Anyways lots of people meeting Inmortui in this chapter, new powers and friends. Btw to all those Elden ring players out there... Yes the Ghostflame in this is the same one as in Elden Ring. Just with a different origin story.
Alrighty I'll let you go now. Hope Y'all enjoyed! Laters!
Edit: fixed name mix up between Siegward and Siegmeyer.
