Chapter 3: Trainers Backstory

Let it be known; I do not own Fairy Tail nor Pokémon which fully belong to there rightful owners. The only thing I own is my OC and this stories plotline.

"Someone speaking"

'Someone thinking'

"Someone with power talking"

*Someone doing something*

- Pokémon speech-

(Last chapter our hero and his team landed in Earthland. He had a bit of trouble at the start but picked up on how to use them quickly. Jay then met a women named Mirajane Strauss, who was a Fairy Tail wizard. She brought them to her Guild and after telling them a made-up story that was a mix of truths and lies, the Guilds Master asked Jason a surprising question.) "How would you like to become a member of Fairy Tail?" "…eh?" (Wonder what his answer will be.)

(Insert Snow Fairy opening here)

(Jay's PoV)

I stare blankly at the man whose old enough to be my grandfather.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat that? Not quite sure I heard that right." I said nervously to the Master of Fairy Tail.

"I'm asking you if you'd like a place in our Guild." Makarov said.

'Yeah, that's what I thought you said.' I thought following up with a question. "Okay, but why? Why offer me membership?"

"Hm…I suppose for several reasons. But first off, where will you be staying during your time here in Fiore?" he asked.

"I'm used to sleeping outdoors." I replied.

"Ah, but what if the place you slept was home to blood thirsty beasts that were waiting for you to sleep to attack you." Makarov shot back with a cheeky grin. I paled at the thought. "Proving my first reason; You don't know your way around our lands."

Damn, hate to admit but he got me there.

"Reason 2 is that I'm guessing that any currency you have on you won't work here." he continued.

I flinched at that one, not wanted to be reminded of being broke.

"Oh, is that why you asked what our money was called earlier Jay?" Mira asked from behind the bar counter.

"Yeah, I did. Wait why are you back there like you're manning the bar?" I asked.

"I told you before, I work here silly. I'm a waitress here at the Guild." she giggled while explaining.

"But I thought you had to be a wizard to work at a Guild, let alone be a member." I said.

"I still am a wizard, I'm just retired." Mira said.

"Retired!? But you look to be 20 like me!" I exclaimed. Please tell me she's not using magic to make herself look younger!

"Aw that's sweet of you to say, I'm actually 19." Mira thanked with a blush. "The reason is I'm not very strong is all."

'Oh, guess that's why she was in trouble.' I thought.

I don't see Makarov give a sympathetic glance at Mirajane as he and the rest of the members knew the real reason she retired. Something that I'll find out in the future. For now, Makarov continues with his reasons.

"The third and final reason has to do with the Plates." the Master says, making me tense up and getting Mira's attention too. He starts to get serious "They're more powerful than you let on. Hence the reason you're trying to find them as fast as possible. It's so they don't fall into the wrong and dangerous hands."

Damn not gonna lie, I might have underestimated this old timer simply because no one had any clue about Plates in general. But he was able to tell right away.

"Don't get me wrong, I think you made the right decision keeping as much to yourself as possible." Makarov said. "No matter what, we can't let that happen. All I'm saying is that I want to offer Fairy Tails assistance. Not only that will it give you the opportunity to gather jewels to buy your own home. Plus, what say if someone with impure intentions gets one of these Plates but is not alone. You may be strong and have your Pokémon, but you can't take on a whole army."

Honestly I never thought of that. While I figured someone else on the off chance might find the Plates, it would be useless in their hands. At least a normal person, but with a wizard they might be able to tap into the power if they have the same elemental typing. Especially if they have a powerful and large group with them.

"I thank you for your concern sir, but pardon me for saying how do I know I can trust you." I responded before asking "Don't all the proper Guilds answer to the Magic Council. How do I know you won't give the Plates to them after we find the last 12? No doubt sooner or later they're going to find out about the Plates. I might not have been here for long, but long enough to hear about how they operate and handle things."

"Jay…" Mirajane looked at me sadly. I hated that look on her face, but I couldn't let my new feelings blind me. Makarov was right about one thing; I couldn't let the Plates fall into the wrong hands. Especially dark wizard hands.

"You have ever right to be cautious and to question my help." Makarov said after a few moments of silence. "If I'm being perfectly honest, I rather the Plates be in the hands of someone who knew how best to use their powers then those fools."

I looked to him in surprise seeing smirking back at me.

"While you are correct, we Guilds do follow the Council's orders. But if they're their decisions are stupid ass decisions then we Guild Masters chose best to ignore them. Like say handing over magic that once belonged to a God." Makarov said.

I look down in thought, contemplating on what he said until he continued.

"After we've collected all the Plates and return them back to you, if you wish to leave than you are free to. It's entirely your choice. All I'm asking if you give us a chance." the Master finished.

I think about once more before looking at Volt and Angel, seeing the two have fun interacting with the Guild members. Smiling I made my decision.

"Alright gramps I'm in. You have yourself a new member." I said offering him my hand.

"Then let me be the first to welcome you Fairy Tail, my boy." my new Master grinned while accepting my handshake. Mirajane clapped in joy.

"Wonderful, I'll get the stamp." she said before stepping away.

"Stamp?" I asked Makarov.

"All members of Guilds wear a sigil on their body to show/prove they are members of the Guild they say they're from." he explained.

"Oh, that makes sense. Probably don't want people pretending to be members and giving the real ones a bad name." I said.

"Exactly." Makarov agreed. It was then that Mira came back.

"Now then, all you have to do is tell me where to stamp and what color you want." she explained.

I began to think. If it was to show I was a part of the Guild I needed it to be seeable. I looked at my uncovered forearms, yeah that would do, and I already knew the color to pick.

"My right forearm, colored white." I said with a grin holding my arm up.

Mira nodded and placed the stamp on it and removed it. There in all its glory was my new tattoo. I was an official Fairy Tail member now. It felt cool, not gonna lie.

"Jason, could you call Volt and Angel over to get a one as well?" I heard my Master ask making me look at him.

"Why?" I asked.

"I believe it might be good if they and any other Pokémon you have should be given one too. After all no one has seen a Pokémon before and might freak out, but if they see the Guilds symbol on them no one will mind." Master explained.

That…is a very good idea. Plus since they can now talk like humans, people would be less afraid of them.

"Okay *Nods* that sounds like a good idea. Hey Volt! Angel! Come over here for a sec!" I called out to them.

My loyal twin foxes came of quickly, much to the female's disappointment. They stopped and sat at my feet.

"What's up Jay?" Angel asked.

"Well first off." I said while showing my mark causing their eyes to widen.

"You became a member?" Volt asked.

"Does that mean we get to stay?" Angel asked excitedly.

When I nodded, she began to cheer and bounce in place much to everyone's amusement.

"YAY, YAY, YAY!" she cheered.

"Okay, okay calm down Angel." I chuckled. "That isn't the only reason I called you over for."

After Angel settled down Volt asked me a question. "So, what's the reason?"

"Our new Guild Master thinks it best if you and the others got one too." I explained.

"Why is that?" Angel asked with a head tilt.

"To show other people you are apart of Fairy Tail as well little one." Makarov said to her.

"Hm, I guess it would be beneficial." Volt agreed.

"And the best part is you can choose what color you want~." I said trying to entice her which worked judging by the stars in her eyes.

"REALLY?" she gasped before jumping on the countertop and using a feeler to point to her left shoulder. "I WANT IT HERE IN PINK!" Angel said excitedly.

"Okay then." Mira said with a smile while repeating the process she did with me.

Afterwards Angel jumped down to show her brother.

"Look Volt, look." she said.

"Okay, I can see it." he said amused before jumping up to one himself.

"Black, right flank please." Volt said.

Mirajane nodded and stamped. Soon he jumped back down.

"So, anymore with you sonny?" Makarov asked.

"Actually, a few more yes." I said while digging in my pockets.

"Just how many is a few more?" Cana asked…who I didn't see sitting there until know, so I paused and simply stared at her. "What?" she asked.

"When did you get here?" I asked her. This made both Mira giggle and Master chuckle.

"I NEVER LEFT!" she snapped at me.

"Huh, guess I never noticed." I respond before pulling out my team. "But to answer your question, counting these two *pointing at the twins* 26."

"26! That's certainly a lot." Makarov exclaimed.

"Honestly, compared to the total amount of recorded known Pokémon it's just a tiny drop of water in a large pond." I said nonchalantly.

"Oh yeah, and just how many Pokémon are there?" Cana asked before taking a sip of her booze.

"As of right now? 905." I answered. Causing her to do another spit take.

"Over 900! Are you serious?" she exclaimed in surprise. Makarov and Mira were also surprised to hear the exact amount of known Pokémon.

"Yup and I wouldn't be surprised if new ones were discovered by the end of next month." I said. (Thumbs up if you get it)

"Well anyways. Come on out everyone!" I called out and tossed the balls up, getting the other members attention and them seeing my Pokémon materialize.

From the Poké Balls came Striker, Arc, Tempest and Jaws. Great Balls had Nightwing, Tone and Sans. Ultra Balls contained Garo and Herb. Dusk Balls were Venom and Kroko. Friend Balls are Kyra, Alpha and Mimi. Moon Ball for Fang. Didn't take the Quick Ball and Love Ball out since Volt and Angel were already here. Level Ball for AppleJack. Princess was in a Premier Ball. Scala came from a Heavy Ball. Frost a Net Ball. Finally for Luxury Balls were Ruby, Silver, Fuu, Red and Scarlet. My shinnies had the little stars appeared when they were revealed.

Everyone went wide eyed at seeing so many different Pokémon. After looking around and taking in their surroundings, my team looked to me for clarity.

"Okay, so here's what happened." I said before getting them caught up. Afterword's everyone agreed and got a mark.

Striker, like me got it on his forearm but left side and black. Arc was on his mane in front of his chest in red. Tempest was on his back in green. Jaws had it in yellow on top of his head. Nightwing was red on his left wing. Tone, chest in black. Sans, forehead in red. Garo, light blue on his tail. Herb, purple on his shelled arm. Venom, the back of her head in blue. Kroko, chest in red. Kyra, back in blue. Alpha, right side in beige. Mimi, back in pink. Fang, back in green. AJ, top of head in green. Princess, right hand in pink. Scala, chest in purple. Frost, back in light green. Ruby, back in yellow. Silver, back in blue. Scarlet, right claw in blue. Fuu, left arm in brown. And finally Red, barrel of cannon in purple.

"There, now everyone has a symbol of the Guild on them." I said with the Pokémon looking at them. The one's that couldn't had to use a mirror or reflective surface to see.

"Looking good." Nab, the guy who has the skull necklace complimented. During the time they were choosing where to put their marks and what color, I got to know my new Guild mates. Turned out I was wrong about the stripper who's named Gray. During his time training under his master, he developed the unfortunate habit and subconscious strips at random times without even realising until someone points it out to him. There were other members of the Guild, but they were out on either jobs or personal business.

"This is so cool!" Scarlet said checking out her mark.

"I agree, it makes one feel a connection with others." Kyra said.

"Thank you for giving us the honor, Master Makarov." Fuu says while bowing to the older man.

"No thanks needed. Jason said he see's you as his family and that's what this Guild is all about. Its members being treated as family. It was the right thing to do." Makarov said.

"So, you've been a Pokémon Trainer for ten years and is one of the strongest in your country?" the small girl who asked about the made-up writing named Levy asked.

"Yes. There are trainers call champions who are at the top in their respective counties, and I've beaten a few but also lost as well." I tell her.

"Wow, you must be pretty sharp to come up with plans and have to act on the fly in battles." Levy said.

Two guys named Jet and Droy who are Levies teammates cause the three formed a team to help each other on jobs, glare at me from the side for some reason. Eh, whatever. I look forward seeing a round guy named Reedus painting portraits of all my Pokémon. It's his 'welcome to the Guild' present for us. Nice guy in my opinion.

"Hey Jay." Mira said getting my attention.

"Yeah, what's up?" I asked.

"What do you plan on sleeping for the night?" she asked.

"Easy, I have camping gear, so I'll just sleep outside until I can buy a house." I answered. "I've gotten use to it."

"Oh no you're not mister." Mira stated.

"Huh?" I asked.

"You can stay at mine and Elfman's home until you get your own place." Mira said. Elfman overheard this and was shocked.

"Wait, your house? Oh no Mira, you don't have to. I don't want to be a bother to you or your brother." I said.

"Nope. I still owe my hero for saving me. You're coming and that's final." Mirajane said putting her foot down on the matter.

"Okay fine." I sighed, seeing her not budging.

"Uh sis can I talk to you for a moment." Elfman asked hastily.

"Sure Elfman. See you latter Jay." she said waving at me as she went to talk to her little brother. Still can't get use to that.

(Mirajane PoV)

Me and Elfman went to a corner to talk about…well whatever Elfman wanted to talk about.

"What is it, Elfman?" I asked him.

"How could you offer him place at our house!" Elfman demanded.

"What?" I questioned.

"Mira, we only have one room, and you know who use to sleep there." my brother said looking to the side.

"I know." I said looking down. "But I think if she was here, she would offer him the same thing."

"Big sis…" Elfman said looking at me.

"Plus, I think she would have gotten along well with Jay and liked the Pokémon too." I said tearing up.

Elfman gave me a hug as he was about to cry too. We stayed like this for a while until we calmed down.

"Come on, let's go back." I spoke.

"Right." Elfman said.

As we walked back, I asked Elfman a question.

"So, what do you think about Jason." I asked him.

"Well, he seems like a good person, hearts in the right place too. Plus, he saved you so he's already good in my book." Elfman said.

"But…" I trailed on, because I knew he wasn't done.

"HE'S NOT NEARLY MANLY ENOUGH!" he shouted.

I giggled and was about to retort until we heard Max yell.

"HOLD UP! YOU TOOK ON AND BEAT HOW MANY CRIMINAL ORGANISATIONS?! BY YOURSELF?!" Max yelled.

"What was that about?" Elfman asked.

"I don't know, but I think your opinion about Jay's manliness is about to change." I said to my little brother, feeling it was about Jay.

(Jay's Pov)

"Seriously how many, because I don't think I heard you right!" a guy named Max, who uses sand magic asked in shock.

Let's rewind the clock a bit shall we. After the Strauss siblings walked off, Max and this other dude named Warren came up to me.

"Hey Jay, I got a question. That's if you don't mind." Warren asked.

"It depends on the question but shoot." I responded.

"Is there anyone back at your home that would use Pokémon for…ill intentions?" Max asked nervously.

"*Sigh* Unfortunately, yes there are people like that back home. All over the place in fact. I mean, you guys got dark wizards, right?" I sighed.

"Damn, that must have been rough." Max said

"Yeah, I mean the Pokémon you have with you seem cool and chill to be around." Warren said while looking at my team.

"It's because so many people seem to think that Pokémon are only a means to an end in some way shape or form." I say bitterly.

"What do you mean?" Warred asked.

"Some people think that Pokémon were only put on this planet to be used by us humans. To be used as weapons or to be sold for profits illegally." I responded.

This made Max and Warren shocked. Also catching the attention of Makarov.

"You serious? People their actual think and do that?" Max asked.

"Take it from me. When you spend ten years travelling, you met all sorts of people. Good, bad and just down right scum." I growled.

The two looks to each other in concern. The Master can hear the anger and hatred in the words.

"You want to know something, that's not even the worst of what they've done either." I spoke.

"You're kidding! What the hell could be worst then that?" Warren exclaimed.

"How about several criminal organisations that wanted to either control the world or destroy it." I stated.

The duo froze at that while Makarov frowned deeply.

'And something tells me you were involved in those specific incidents, weren't you Jason.' Makarov thought.

"You said several. Just how many of these organizations did you help take down man?" Max asked shakily.

"Six, but one wasn't 'evil' per say in the beginning just misguided and being used until later they did. But I didn't have help." I say while looking at them. "I took them on all by myself and won."

The two and Makarov went wide eyed at my reveal. To them all sound becomes white noise as they process what I just told them. Until Max stands up and yells at the top of his lungs.

"HOLD UP! YOU TOOK ON AND BEAT HOW MANY CRIMINAL ORGANISATIONS?! BY YOURSELF?!" Max yelled, bringing everyone's attention to our table. Completely shocked once they all realize what Max yelled.

"Seriously how many, because I don't think I heard you right!" Max asked in shock.

Now, is everyone caught up? Yes? Good, then we can continue with the story.

"Whoa, whoa. Back up what's this about criminal organisations?" Random member asked.

"Jay says that he took on guys that are like his home version of Dark Guilds!" Warren says to them.

"Are you serious?! How many." R.M asked.

"Six." I answered.

"But why? That seems way too dangerous!" another R.M said.

"If you saw someone hurting innocent people, would you turn the other way?" I asked them.

This got everyone to stop.

"I did what I believed was the right thing to do. Was it dangerous? Yes. Could I have died? Yeah. But I would rather die doing the right thing then living as a coward." I spoke. "If I have the power to help someone who needed it but didn't, then to me I'm no better than scum. And that goes for anyone else. Especially those who disregard lives like trash."

The wizards were taken aback at my statement. They were all quiet and were thinking for what I said. That was when Makarov spoke up.

"You have seen much evil at an early stage in your life. Far too early then any child should have." Makarov said softly.

"But still, to take them on yourself. Weren't their any authorities to help?" a dancer named Vijeeter asked.

"Yeah there are. But the criminals either had ways of avoiding them or straight up paying them off." I said while clutching my fist.

"Paid them off! You mean they willingly help those criminals for money?!" the poncho guy from before, Alzack, asked in shock.

"How could they do such a thing?" the women at his side, Bisca, said in anger.

"Greed." was all Master said.

"It's sad really." I said looking up, while everyone turned their attention to me. "Not ALL of them started out that way. Some truly wanted to help the world and make it better place. They just lost sight of the path is all. Team's Magma and Aqua are prime examples of this. They wanted to protect their respective ecological fields. Land for Magma and ocean/sea for Aqua. However, down the line they believed the best way to do it was to get rid of the other. Thus, they began to fight one another. After I put a stop to it and their plans, the two teams decided to work together."

"Aw that's so nice." Mira said.

"Team Plasma on the other hand wanted to protect the Pokémon. Not all trainers are good. Some only care about how strong they are, but either don't bother training them or trains them too hard. Doesn't matter cause in the end those types of people just end up abandoning them." I scoffed.

"How could they do that to living creatures." a girl with short violet hair name Laki asked.

"Yeah sometimes I wonder who's give trainer licenses to people like them." I said (like seriously). "Anyways like I said, Plasma had good hearts, but they started to become prejudiced towards all trainers both good and bad. They began to 'liberate' all the mistreated Pokémon. At first it was protests and public speaking's, then they started attacking trainers and stealing Pokémon. Ripping them away from their loved ones. Even children weren't spared, in fact they were mostly targeted since they didn't have much experience at all."

"Bastards! They dare call themselves men! What an unmanly thing to do!" growled Elfman.

"Hold on, how'd these Plasma jerks attack other trainers? Wouldn't they're own Pokémon protect them?" Gray asked.

"Easy, by using their own Pokémon." I answered nonchalantly. This caused everyone to blinky and take a second to process.

"Wait a god damn second. You're saying they hate people for using Pokémon and telling them they should free them, but use Pokémon themselves?" Gray asked for clarity. I nodded. "WHAT KIND OF HYPOCRITICAL BULLSHIT IS THAT?!"

"I asked that very same question." I sighed. "But like I said, it wasn't their fault. They and their leader N were being manipulated by a man named Ghetsis. His plan was to have everyone release their Pokémon so he would be the only one with Pokémon and could take conquer the Unova r-country without anyone to stop him. For that reason, Ghetsis helped N in claiming a powerful Legendary named Zekrom 'the dragon of Ideals' and have him use its power to separate humans and Pokémon. I knew my team wasn't strong enough to beat such a Pokémon, so I sought out its counterpart; Reshiram 'the dragon of Truths'. After gaining Reshiram's trust I stormed Plasma's base and made my way to N. I pleaded for him to stop, but he wouldn't. Instead, we would settle it in a battle, which ended in my victory. At that moment Ghetsis made his appearance and revealed everything about his plans. He also told how he felt about N and his gift. I kinda figured out at that point he didn't care about anyone but himself."

"What gift?" R.M asked.

"His gift to hear the hearts of Pokémon." I answered.

"What, couldn't they just say what they were feeling like yours?" R.M asked.

"Actually no. You see, normally Pokémon can't speak human. We have our own language, but after Jay gained magic, it affected the rest of us and allowed us to speak human." Kyra explained. The wizards looked at me.

"Right moving on. After his little rant, he deemed me as the only obstacle in his way for control of Unova and aimed to kill me." I said. Although that last part got everyone attention.

"Wait, 'kill'?! He would go that far?" Levy exclaimed.

"Yup, although I think the guy was bonkers to begin with. Anyways I beat him, and he got arrested. But those that were loyal broke him out and went into hiding. At that time N decided to change Plasma's ways. They would find and take in abandoned Pokémon, heal them up and release them back into the wild. I even helped them out sometimes." I said with a smile remembering fondly.

"How nice." Laki cooed.

"What happened to douche Ghensis?" Cana asked. At this question I frowned.

"2 years later he resurfaced with a whole new plan and rebuild a new team called Neo Plasma. He would take control of Unova by force and would do anything to accomplish his goal this time." I said.

"How was going to do that?" Wakaba asked.

"By freezing the whole country." I revealed. Everyone looked at me in shock.

"There's no way he could do that. Not by himself." Gray said. Being an Ice wizard, he would know.

"You're right, HE couldn't. But something else could. Kyurem the Boundary Pokémon. A Legendary Ice-type that is on par with Reshiram and Zekrom. By controlling it, he would get what he wanted and more." I said.

"Okay this guy sounded crazy before, but now he's downright insane!" Nab said.

"Ye~ah, turns out me kicking his ass and throwing a wrench into his plans…didn't exactly do wonders for his mental state in anyways whatsoever." I said while shrugging. "But in the end, he still failed. Me and N teamed up, freed Kyurem and after being challenged by Ghensis beating him again, he had a COMPLETE mental break down. Like he went off the deep end, verbally taking it out on N calling him a 'freak without a human heart' simply because of his gift. At that time his followers that busted him out came and escorted him away. Not wanting him to pop up again after a few years, I tracked them down. Only to find out that Ghensis was, for lack of a better term; gone."

"What do you mean gone? He better not have escaped. Especially after all that and treating this N guy like that!" Alzack said. I shake my head.

"No as in mentally gone. His mind just, broke down. He was a hollow shell of his former self." I said making everyone shocked.

"Those that seek control through power will lose it all in the end." Makarov said.

"So, who's the next team that lost their way?" asked Max.

"That would be Team Flare." I said. "They started out as a relief group. Helping those in need after disasters. The leader Lysandre was a good man with noble intentions, but as time went on, he grew obsessed with keeping the beauty of the world and hated change, believing it would destroy the world. So, he planned to wipe out all humans and Pokémon to preserve the world with a dangerous weapon called the Ultimate Weapon except those who are members of Flare."

"That bastard was going to take all those lives just because he couldn't handle 'change'!" Gray shouted in disbelief.

"I stopped him in time though and in the end, I like to think a part of him is still the good man he was before." I said.

"Why is that?" Jet asked.

"Because after I beat him, Lysandre destroyed the weapon with its own power, but he went missing afterwards." I revealed. "The next isn't so nice as the last ones. Team Galactic is if anything, just as much as victims as anyone else. It's like with Ghesis with N and team Plasma. Their leader Cyrus wanted to make the perfect world in his image. He believed that everything wrong with it was the people's spirit and emotions. He made his plan to destroy the world and remake it as the new God. To do this, however he would need the power of the Gods."

"So what? He was going to capture 'Gods' and use their power?" Wakaba asked jokingly while taking a puff from his pipe.

"Yes, and he did, nearly succeeding." I said causing Wakaba to cough on the smoke. "He kept what he was planning from his members and ordered to capture three specific Mystical Pokémon named Uixe, Mesprit and Azelf. Cyrus found ancient text saying that the magic of these three could create a magic spell to forcefully control the God Pokémon Dialga 'God of Time' and Palkia 'God of Spatial Dimension' or just Space."

"To use such knowledge for evil is wrong." Levy said sad. Jet and Droy comfort her, wait...oh they have a crush on her. That's why they were glaring at me earlier. I was taking up all her attention.

"I immediately rushed their headquarters and managed to free the three but was too late to stop Cyrus from completing the spell. He was already making his way to the place to activate the spell. When I arrived, he already had the two of them under his control and was about to destroy the world. At this point he revealed his plan to his subordinates. If it weren't for two things stopping him. Uixe, Mesprit and Azelf appearing to destroy the spell, freeing the two Gods." I said.

"And the second thing?" Bisca asked.

"A third God named Giratina the God of the Distortion World sensed what Cyrus was trying to do. To make sure he wouldn't be able to do it again, Giratina dragged him to their realm and imprisoned there. Forever." I said.

Everyone was surprised. "Wow, so you met three Gods and saved two of them?" Loke asked. I nodded.

"You told us five, so what about the sixth team?" Gray asked.

At that point my body went cold. My fists clenched as I took a deep breath. "Team Rocket. Even when they're long gone, that name still pisses my off." I growled "There will never be any atonements for those monsters."

Everyone was taken aback at my attitude.

"If it's too much for you we can stop if you like." Makarov said kindly seeing how I was feeling about them.

"No, I'm okay. Thank you, Master. I'll try to keep this brief but make it as clear as possible. These people are monsters that will do anything to get money and power. They will lie, cheat, steal and even straight up KILL. They will cross any line, stoop too any level to get everything they want. They've left both human and Pokémon children orphaned. They experiment and kill Pokémon just for profits on the black markets." I said, my anger raising. I didn't even realize that some of my power was beginning to leak out. Everyone took a step back from me, all except Mirajane and Makarov who gave my looks of sympathy. "Anyone who joins them knows EXCATLY what they do and willingly wants a part of it and do all of this with a smile. A FUCKING SMILE ON THERE FACES! HELL, THEY PROBALLY GET OFF ON IT TOO!" I yell slamming my fists on the countertop, making cracks in the wood and breathing heavily. I feel something on my shoulder causing me to look and I see Striker. I know what he's asking of me, so I give him a nod while on the verge of tears as I look down. My other Pokémon coming to give me comfort. Striker turns to the wizards.

"The worst part is that a month before Jay would become a Trainer and the two of us would first met, his dad went to Kanto for a business trip for his work and was killed by Team Rocket." Striker said.

Everyone was speechless and horrified at this reveal, even Makarov, but that's not all as an inferno started to rage in his soul. 'These bastards truly are monsters as Jason said they are. They would do anything they want and think no one could stop them." Makarov thought in anger.

Both of the Strauss siblings looked at each other with widen eyes.

"Tell me they aren't around anymore!" Gray growled. 'But a small part of me wishes they are so I can turn them into ice sculptures.' he also thought.

"No there gone for good." I said after calming down. "Thank you all." I said to my Pokémon.

"We are here for you." Red said.

"Just like you were there for us, Jay." Arc said

'Pokémon can help in fights and be emotional support helpers too.' Mirajane thought.

'Big sis was right, Jay truly is a man, more manly than I thought.' Elfman thought.

"Well, I for one think that's enough questions for our newest member for the day, don't all of you?" Makarov said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

I simply sat in my seat collecting my thoughts, while everyone disperses except my team, Mirajane and the old timer.

"Could I get a mug of beer Mira?" I ask the hot waitress.

"Is that a good idea?" she asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, this guy's barely a drinker. Only occasionally will he ever drink." Venom said. That was good enough for her and went to get the drink.

"I'm sorry you had to relive those memories my boy." Makarov said to me, making me and the Pokémon look at him. "Had I'd know the scars you carried, I would have told them to leave well enough alone."

"It would have come up sooner or later." I responded. "Might as well get it out of the way now. Besides think of it as an act of trust." Makarov looks at me and smiles gently. That's when Mira comes back with my beer.

"To trust then." Makarov says while holding his own mug up to me. We tap and drink. Gotta say, that tastes pretty sweet.

"Whoa it's already evening." R.M called out getting everyone else's attention. We all turn to see the sun going down.

"Wow, guess Jay's story took longer than we all thought." Droy said.

"Well then, I guess now would be a good time for everyone to head home." Master said.

"Darn couldn't go pick a mission today." Nab said.

"You wouldn't have even pick one anyways." Max said.

"So, shall we get going too Jay?" Mira asked me with Elfman at her side

"Ah, yeah sure." I said nervously while returning all my Pokémon

The three of us left the Guild Hall.

As we walked away, Makarov watches us, or more specifically me. 'Perhaps there is a reason you found these Plates. It is your heart that led you to them. Maybe, that's why you ended up here as well.' Makarov thought to himself.

After a bit of walking, we finally made it to what I can only assume is the Strauss house hold. It looked like a nice place.

"It looks very homey." I complimented the siblings.

"Thank you, Jay." Mira said.

"Mh." Elfman simply grunted. O~kay then moving on.

Once we got to the front door, Mira took out a key and unlocked is letting us in. When we all walked in Elfman closed it.

"If you could wait here for just a moment, I'll get your room ready ok Jay." Mira said.

"Got it." I answered taking a seat.

And with that, she turned around and walked off down the hall. Now it was just me and Elfman. Who was staring at me with narrow eyes while also sitting down across from me.

"So, what kind of magic can you do Elfman?" I asked trying to make small talk.

"Take Over magic." he said.

"Oh cool, so like me or in a different way?" I asked.

"I can only change my arm." Elfman said.

"I see." I said.

Well…this isn't awkward at all. Argh, when will Mirajane hurry up. I don't know how long I can take much more of th- "Hey." OH, THANK ARCEUS HE'S TALKING!

"Uh, yeah?" I responded looking at him. Elfman doesn't say anything for a bit until he takes a deep breath and bows to me.

"Thank you for saving my sister." Elfman said.

"It's no big deal, it was only 'right time, right place' kind of thing." I said trying to brush it off.

"But you still went to check when she screamed. If you turned the other way, she might not have been here anymore." he said sitting straight again. "That means more to me then anything else. Considering she's all I have left."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Our parents…are also gone." Elfman revealed.

I just sit there in silence.

"When you told everyone earlier that you lost your father. I hit home you know." he said while rubbing the back of his head. "So, what I'm trying to say is…You can stay here as long as you need to."

"Thank you, man." I said to him, who grinned in response.

We didn't know it, but Mirajane was hiding around the corner listening in on us. She smiled at us bonding, then decided to make her presence known.

"The room's all set up, if you'd follow me, please." Mira said.

"Okay then. Night Elfman and thanks again." I said.

"*Nods* Sleep well Jay." Elfman said.

After that Mira led me to what would be my currant living arrangements.

"Here we are." she said.

"Thanks again, Mirajane. You really didn't need to do this." I said.

"Like I said before, I need to thank my hero." Mira responded.

"Me? A hero? I mean, sure some people called me that for taking down the Evil Teams and all." I said while rubbing the back of my head with my eyes closed.

"Also…" I heard her say, before feeling something on my cheek. Opening my eyes, I see Mirajane kissing me. Pretty sure I was as red as a tamato berry.

"Good night, my hero." Mira said while swaying her hips out of the room, just before closing the door she turns back to me and winks.

"…Nani da fuck?" I whispered to myself.
