Alright boys, chapter forty-five is finally here, sorry it took so damn long again. Shit happens and I just have to adapt to it. Anyway, glad there wasn't any crazy drama this time like last chapter, so we can skip any response to that. We're going to jump right into the craziness, as this is where shit starts to turn up in heat. But first, some reviews.
Mr. Not-The-Read: "Damn. Nice chapter. I was getting Gaara vibes from Zane's speech. And, damn, Zane assuring young Matt he'd be as strong then thinking. 'Nah'. Still, this part of the story was a good way to initiate for the final battle with Kronos. Excited for the next chapter."
Response: Thanks for the review, bro. Zane channeled his inner commander for that speech, but Gaara level? That's high praise lol. And about Young Matt's strength, it's simply true. He'll never obtain the Master Bolt, so he'll never reach the same level of power.
Echoxenvy: "Sorry I'm just now reviewing this, but it was great. Loved the chapter. I liked all the interactions, character moments, and ofc Zane being a leader. It really shows just how far he's come. The return of Zane and Taylor was cool, and I agree that it's going to take a bit of time before Zane and Nico can even consider being friends again. The whole conversation with them really clears things up, and at the end of the day, yeah, Nico made a mistake. Nobody's perfect, simple as that.
The hermes moment was really cool, and Percy is officially a badass, even without the curse. Hermes should know better than to even think of threatening Annabeth, he got what he had coming to him.
This was a good setup chapter, and I'm really excited for what's to come, because I know from here on out it's nothing but fighting, basically. Also that ending, man, it's going to be interesting seeing Zane and Thalia interact, after all this time."
Response: Don't worry lmao, my lazy ass still hasn't review like five of your chapters. I gotta get on that lmao. Anyway, yes. Zane and Taylor are almost back, and Nico and Zane have some sort of small understanding now. Nico made a mistake, plain and simple. Hermes got slapped, easily so by Percy. Anyway, hope you enjoy this chap, it's fucking insane.
SaUvE ViPeR: "That's what I'm talking about. This was a great setup chapter, and just in general. I really like how far Zane has come, he's matured in mind as well as definitely in power. The interactions were great, and the return of Zaylor was epic. This really does feel like the final battle, the end, with the way things are being setup, actual in depth focus on the war, battle stations, what other characters are doing, etc, just like in canon. I have a feeling the next few chapters are really going to be insane, and I know you'll deliver on what I hope to be the best fights of the fic!"
Response: Thanks for the review, man. I'm glad I'm able to set up things well, because after things in this chapter we won't have too much time for that lol. The final battle is absolutely here, although we're in the preliminaries now, so things are only going to heat up. Anyway, sorry for short response, but I hope you enjoy this chapter.
ReaperKurosaki: "Basically it all escalates from here. The epic fights, the hype moments, Zane vs Hyperion, Zane vs Luke, Percy with the curse, Zaylor, and pretty much everything in the story so far has been building to these next few chapters. I'm so excited, and have so many words I want to say. But for now, just update soon!"
Response: Yes bro, it all escalates from here. Every chapter will top the last, as you''l see with this one. All the fights will be delivered one, as will Percy's curse and especially Zaylor. You're going to love the next few chapters lmao. Anyway, here's the next chapter.
Shadowhunter2077: "Well things are looking pretty bad right now, but hopeful Zane and Percy will be able to even the odds, and now we will have Thalia and Zane talking but will be good?
And there is Zeus state, my question is where is the Master Bolt, it could give Zeus some back up energy, at least enough for him to fight off the effects of the Heavenly diamond.
And about Nico, as a guy who saw for a good portion of his life a father that was in reality a asshole, I can understand Nico position, we often tend to worship our fathers, even when they don't deserve."
Response: Thalia and Zane do talk, and you'll see soon what they speak of. And as for Zeus, the Master Bolt is pretty much the only reason he's even alive right now. Otherwise he would have died probably only a day after fighting Luke. And yes, Nico's position is hopefully understandable, and I'm sorry you had a shitty dad. It happens to the best of us.
Merrik69: "So I thought I posted a review a few days ago and then I come back and it's not up. So welp I guess. But I'll say it again, great chapter. I think it sets up a lot of things, fights, and epic moments to finish off the first part of this story. It's honestly insane how this started, and now it has over seven hundred thousand words, which is insane. You're not even halfway done. It's crazy just how vast this story will be, but I cannot wait. I like how you resolved the Nico stuff and shut up the weirdos in the reviews, and Percy getting the curse was awesome.
Also I hope you're not homeless now. That sounds horrible."
Response: is wacky sometimes lmao. And thanks for the review. I can't wait to finish this first chunk of the story, finish every character arc and write out all the payoffs. Looking from where I am now to where I started, myself from a year and a half ago would never believe just how far I've gotten. And yeah, fuck those weirdos. Hope you enjoy this chapter, man.
Guest: "I know this is going to sound silly, but I'm being completely honest when I say this. This story had a part in saving me.
I was in a bad place, for a while actually. I felt like nobody cared, and there was just no way of going up. Usual shit that happens every now and then, but this time it was worse. I honestly thought about doing something stupid that I'm glad I didn't do. I started watching some of my favorite tv shows to basically escape from reality and get good vibes again, and that came to reading PJO. Then of course, I love the series, and want more, so I turn to fanfics. I stumbled across this a while ago, and have been reading it ever since. It's amazing. I don't care how silly it is, how over the top the fights are or whatever, it has something special about it. Heart. No joke, this story is awesome, I relate to Zane so much. I'm not super powerful or anything obviously, but I have anger issues, and at one time I felt like there was no way I could become a better person, like what happened to Zane. But he overcame it, and that gave me the confidence to overcome my issues. He's such a great character, because he has flaws, and he grows as a person. Honestly, it's the deep moments that grab me more than the fight scenes, which are also cool in their own right.
Just want to say thank you, I truly mean it. What you've created here has touched me, and I'm sure it has to other people too. It makes me happy to know that it's not close to ending yet, and I cannot wait for future chapters. When it does end one day, I have no doubt that you'll deliver on something satisfying."
Response: Bro. I literally do not know what to say. The fact that this little insane idea, this little passion project of mine resonated with you to a level that it literally saved your life is absolutely incredible to me. I literally do not even have any words, any response that would describe just how touched I feel. I'm so glad you love Zane so much, and how you love this story. I'm sorry my response couldn't measure up to your absolutely heartwarming review, for what it's worth, thank you so much. I hope you love this chapter, as much as I loved writing it.
Titankingfayden: "So you shit on DemiTitan even though you've never read it? That's so hypocritical, coming from you, the guy that gets mad when someone says his story is trash without reading past the first chapter. I don't even know what all the reviewers are smoking, this story isn't good. Main character is literally "I'm bad, and I kill people for absolutely no reason, but I need to be better because…the plot demands that I do?" It makes no sense, and neither does the aura, transformation bs. You're clearly a DBZ fan, and not one of the more tolerable ones. You copy and paste everything from that Son of Hercules fic, and just have Zane say "Welp, guess I can do that now." From Red Beam Cannon to Lightning teleportation to Heavenly Diamond. Tell me, If EchoxEnvy didn't write your final Atlas battle for you, what would you have done? It's a joke. His story isn't even that great either, but it's leagues above this one. Demigod and DemiTitan remain supreme, Fayden is my baby, and the best OC ever. Much better than anything Zane Williams or Matt Beckett could dream of becoming."
Response:HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This is certainly the most hilarious and ignorant review I've ever received, and considering the reviews last chapter, that's saying something. I'm literally not even going to response to your 'criticisms.' You're obviously a troll, judging how your name is Titankingfayden, so I literally won't even waste my breath. And if you're not a troll, you must live a sad, sad existence to believe Fayden is the best OC ever lol. I've asked multiple people about Demigod and Demititan, and the biggest main problem most people tell me about is the main character. How he's flat, unchanging and generally a complete douche. Like SoM Zane but not even on purpose. And you're angry how Zane can seemingly copy abilities, but you seem to forget he's literally seen the abilities performed in the memories of someone else down to the most minuet detail, as well as having insane aura control. And 'I kill people for no reason' argument completely falls flat. Zane is mentally ill, a psychopath. Do mentally ill people need realistic and actual plausible reasons for their insanity? You know what also doesn't make sense? Fayden's completely inconsistent power level. Dude apparently is stronger than Kronos but loses to people who are only demigod level. And what would I have done without HD? I would have just had Zeus show up and beat Atlas, but you'd only complain about that too. And for the record, I don't get mad about people judging this story from the first chapter. It's understandable and I've stated that numerous times in the past. And so what about auras and transformations and me being a DBZ fan? Dude. ITS. A. FUCKING. FANFICTION. It's not supposed to follow canon or make complete sense. This is just me running with an idea and a passion and writing about it, big deal. I realized I did respond to your 'criticisms' lmao and they've made me realize just how retarded and baseless they are. Echoxenvy and me have, for pretty much since the beginning, co-wrote each others story on some level. I gave him the idea for Talon to be the son of Nikandreos, and he gave me the idea for HD. Anyway, I'm done defending myself from a troll or a complete retard who thinks Fayden is the best OC ever. Don't embarrass yourself, dude.
Zutama: "I don't know if that person's trying to be funny or is just an idiot. I've read DemiTitan and it's okay, but I would never say it's better than this story. Dude embarrassed himself.
Anyway, good chapter. Sorry this review is late. I can't wait for the fights and ending, I have a feeling it's going to be a 10/10"
Response: Gotta be a troll, bro. I literally can't believe someone that stupid actually exists. Anyway, don't be sorry for late review, this is a late chapter and I hope you enjoy.
3: "This is all amazing buildup to the final battle. I cannot wait, it's going to be so epic. Everything about this chapter just brings more hype. It also cleared up a lot of the Nico stuff, which is good. I hope you update soon though, this wait is killing us."
Response: Sorry for such a late release bro, had a rough month. Hope you enjoy this one.
Alright, enough with reviews. Let's blow this pop-stand.
(Disclaimer: I don't own anything portrayed here (Except the OCs). If the fact that this is on a Fanfiction site didn't tip you off, you're fucking retarded.)

I stared at my half-sister, my jaw on the ground and my eyes as wide as dinner plates.
She looked the exact same as when I had last seen her, which had been nearly two years ago at the Winter Solstice on Olympus. She looked the same age, around fifteen, had the same haircut and everything. She hadn't aged a day, but she did look somewhat different.
For one, she wore the exact same silver ski parka outfit the rest of the Hunters wore, as shown by Zoe Nightshade and the others wearing the exact same outfit as her. She also had the exact same circlet Zoe had, along with a silver composite bow. She had gone full Hunter now.
What really jarred me was how different me and Thalia were now. Back when I last saw her, if you squinted at us, you could maybe think we looked the same, as I had been basically a clone of Thalia, just taller and more built. But now, the difference between us was as clear as day. I towered over here by just a couple inches off from a foot. I now had facial hair, new weapons, new armor. Everything was different.
Thalia seemed to pick up on this as well. "Holy shit, you're giant now! And you have a beard! And what's with all the new weapons and armor? You look completely different." I was surprised Thalia was talking to me so casually, as our last interaction didn't go so well. Using my telepathy, I saw the intent behind Thalia's words. She was trying to break the ice and pretend we were still good, as to ignore the past and forget.
She didn't need to do any of that. I closed the gap between us at such a speed that light would complain was completely unfair and brought Thalia into a hug. The other hunters practically jumped backwards at my show of speed, but they didn't do anything like draw their weapons. I didn't even need to look at her face to know there was an expression of complete surprise written on it.
Thalia tensed at first. "Zane…" I heard the confusion lace her tone, as she no doubt expected me to be infuriated at her for what she did. "Y-You're…not mad at me still?" Her arms wrapped around my armored torso slowly and carefully, as if I'd do a one eighty and immediately start screaming at her.
I exited the hug and gave Thalia a small smile, shaking my head. "No. No, I'm not." And how could I truly be? Thalia had been given the perfect chance to escape the Prophecy and deciding the fate of the world. How could I stay made at her for that fact, now that I truly know what the Prophecy entails. "How could I stay mad at my sister?"
Thalia smiled at my words, still looking confused. "I…left you. I joined the Hunt, so I could escape the Prophecy. You were mad as hell back then, even calling me a coward. I thought you'd still be mad, considering it hasn't even been a full two years."
I shook my head once more. "A lot has happened in those two years, Thalia. A lot." I looked back at my group, who hadn't said a word at Thalia and the Hunt's appearance just yet, leaving the talking to me. "But we can talk about that more later, alright. Right now, we have a battle on our hands. One that we need to win." I said, pointing in the direction of the incoming Titan forces.
Thalia nodded. "Right. What do you need us to do then?" Thalia asked, motioning to the rest of the Hunters. A lot of them had looks of irritation and scowls on their face, likely not wanting to take orders from a man. Although, no one said anything, as they likely knew I outranked all of them, including Thalia and Zoe.
I nodded off towards the direction of Tappan Zee Bridge, where half of the invading Titan army had veered off to. I had quickly switched to Commander mode. "Half of our enemy doesn't approach us, likely to gain a foothold in the actual city while the rest of the army deals with us. We need to make sure that doesn't happen."
I motioned to Arthur. "Arthur is in charge of our aerial units and vehicles. He'll give you what you need to mount raids on the other half of the Titan army while we clean up the invading force. After we wipe out the Titan vanguard, we convene on the bridge and annihilate what's left of our enemy. Understand?"
Thalia and Zoe nodded at my orders, immediately looking to Arthur. I trailed my sight through all of my friends, as well as the Hunt. "Everybody know what they're doing?" All I received as answers were nods, which I returned. "Alright. Percy, you're with me. I'll see everyone on the bridge once we deal with the force invading Manhattan."
I quickly blasted off in the air, lifting Percy alongside me via my telekinesis. I didn't have to worry about my father striking Percy out of the sky, as my father was in a coma at the moment. In the skyline above the sleeping city, I saw dozens of ships make landfall in the Harbor and other parts of the city. As soon as the hordes of monsters and enemy demigods made contact with the city, they were engaged by my forces.
I scanned the fledging battlefield for the biggest group of enemies, focusing in on the strongest aura. "There." I pointed out towards the main New York harbor, which was the biggest sight of the conflict. I blasted off at full speed towards the harbor, carrying Percy alongside me. The two of us smashed down into the mosh pit of fighters, being careful to only affect the enemies.
The monsters froze and hesitated at both mine and Percy's arrival, before attacking once more. Percy didn't even bother to pull out Riptide, and I didn't even bother to withdraw any weapons either. Both me and Percy looked in the back of the crowd of enemies, spotting the Minotaur. I smirked, letting the weapon of an enemy demigod bounce off my armor. Never got to kill the Minotaur before.
But before I could annihilate it with my aura laser vision like I normally do to weak monsters, Percy blurred out of existence beside me. He appeared right in front of the Minotaur faster than even I can track, his fist drawn back and covered in his sea-green aura. His slammed his fist right into the chest of the Minotaur, unleashing a massive burst of aura and vibrational energy.
The impact of the punch was heavily condensed, likely as to not destroy the entire planet, however the force still practically floored everyone in a one-hundred-meter radius. Hell, even I was shaken slightly. Where the minotaur had once stood was completely gone, only replaced by an empty cone of torn up and destroyed stone, which extended all the into the water way from the city, creating a massive part in the ocean.
On each side of the part, a massive wave was formed, pretty much creating two title waves that covered the ocean as far as the eye could see. Any of the invading ships that hadn't reached Manhattan's shoreline yet were completely destroyed and sunk by the waves Percy had created. Even the boats that had reached land had been upended and shattered, trapping the Titan Army in the city.
Everyone who had been in the vicinity of Percy's strike had froze, looking at the son of Poseidon in complete awe. It wasn't even the fact that he killed the Minotaur in one punch, no. It was the fact he had practically taken out a large chunk of the Titan's forces, and trapped the remaining ones with a simple punch.
Percy smiled at his handiwork, seeing the tidal waves he accidentally created destroy three Titan ships. "That felt good." Percy shook his hand a bit, which was literally steaming with his aura slightly. Percy had nearly been killed by the very monster he had just obliterated when he first arrived at camp. He had come a long, long way since then.
I smirked at Percy's showing, although I was a little in awe in my head. I didn't even see Percy move. Was he that much stronger than me now? I looked at the enemy and back to my soldiers who I had just given a speech to. "I told you they were terrified of you, men! Finish them off!" Reinvigorated by my words, my soldiers roared before charging the frozen Titan forces.
I didn't wait around to see the outcome. I turned to Percy. "We should split up. We'll be able to cover more ground that way and wipe out the enemy commanders quicker." Percy nodded, before vanishing in a burst of speed. I had to physically stop my eyes from widening again, still not at all used to Percy's new speed.
I took to the air again, floating above the skyline of Manhattan. I searched the enemies with my aura sense, finding another powerful aura in another group that was clashing with a regiment of my men. I appeared right in front of the aura, pleasantly surprised to find that it was the Nemean Lion.
Several enemy demigods were around the Hummer sized monster, keeping it controlled with several chains that connected to a large collar around its neck. The Nemean Lion's eyes widened at my appearance, before narrowing in fury as it recognized me. It immediately thrashed around and threw the demigod soldiers restraining it away, before kneeling in a position showing it was about to lunge at me.
I grinned at the massive lion, not at all worried about it. "Nice to see ya again, Nemy. Been a couple years." I pointed to the Nemean Lion cloak on my back, which hung from my armor. "I've been looking for another cloak just like this one. The one I got now has a hole in it." The Nemean Lion snarled at my words, before lunging at me with a roar.
I raised a hand, stopping the Lion in it's tracks with my telekinesis. The Nemean Lion froze, completely unable to move an inch. "Hope you enjoy Tartarus again. Heard it's a nice place for a summer vacation." I then focused my telepathy on the massive golden lion, focusing on it's very molecular and atomical structure. I closed my hand and waved it to the left. The Nemean Lion then completely disassembled right in front of me, exploding in a pile of gore, before fading into golden dust.
I looked down at the pile of dust that used to be the legendary Nemean Lion, thinking about just how far I've come. Back when I first arrived at camp, I could barely stalemate the monster in my base form. Now, I didn't even need to touch it to end its life. I was so much more powerful now that it was mind boggling. I went from being able to maybe destroy a mountain to being about to destroy the entire universe if I wanted.
I flew in the air, retroactively searching for another large aura to wipe off the map that was fighting my men. I found one, noting that it was far, far more powerful than the previous ones. I used my far beyond light speed to fly straight towards it, appearing in front of the aura in the blink of an eye. When I saw who it was, my eyes widened. "Kampe…"
There was the giant, half multi-legged dragon, half massive attractive woman, flying through the skyline of Manhattan. She was currently being pelted by Arthur's aerial forces; however, she wasn't paying any attention to any of them. No, she had her eyes on me as soon as I came into view. "YOU!" She shouted in her gravely, deep voice.
My eyes practically bugged out of my head at the sight at the ancient monster. How was she even still alive? Or even in existence? Heavenly Diamond was supposed to annihilate your soul if you weren't a deity. I've been told that monsters don't have souls, so maybe that's how she still existed?
Kampe raced at me at her top speed, her bronze, poison coated scimitars pulled back ready to slice me in two. My eyes narrowed, sensing her aura. She hadn't increased in power since last year when I destroyed her. A smirk came up on my face. This would be easy.
Right before Kampe could overwhelm me with her currently greater speed, lightning struck my form, dematerializing me and turning me into the lightning itself. I slammed down behind Kampe as her attack sliced several skyscrapers in half, crumbling as they fell to the ground into millions of pounds of rubble. I heard Kampe growl in annoyance and start to look around for me, no doubt using her aura sense.
I had no intention of hiding from this ugly bitch. "Hey, dumbass." Before Kampe could turn around and decapitate me in a single motion, I unleashed my Thunder Form. Throwing my arms out to the side, my blue aura erupted around my form, being surrounded right after by the signature lightning cage. My aura intensified ten trillion-fold, shaking the entire city and flooring Kampe.
Kampe looked at me in complete shock, no doubt in awe about just how much stronger I had become after our first meeting. Kampe pulled herself up, which took a little bit despite her incredible speed due to just how massive she was. Determination covered her face, and she pulled back both her poison scimitars, ready to cut me in half once more.
I wasn't even going to give her the chance to swing this time. I gripped the long handle of Prometheus' massive blade, moving towards the old half face covered dragon monster as I did so. Kampe was practically moving in slow motion in my vision, showing just how much faster I was than the old bitch. As I got close to Kampe, I pulled Prometheus' blade from its sheath into a swing right as I was about to pass her.
Right before the massive sword was about to come into contact with Kampe's scaled hide, I coated the weapon in my bright blue aura to give it some extra cutting power. Prometheus' sword lit up like a Christmas tree, shining brilliant blue as my energy surrounded it. Lightning danced off the edge of the dark silver blade, along with pressurized wind.
Before Kampe could even begin to swing her scimitars, I swung my massive blade through her scaled torso as I passed her. I appeared behind the ancient monster in the blink of an eye, a blink of an eye from her specifically. The aura, lightning and pressurized wind faded from Prometheus' sword as I placed it back into its sheath on my back.
Kampe immediately went slack, freezing after I put my massive sword up. Her giant, poison scimitars fell to the ground, and soon after so did the top half of Kampe's torso. Black, bile-like blood erupted from her two separated halves, immediately staining existence itself with its awful stench. Thankfully, Kampe's entire form faded away after a couple of seconds, removing her existence from the Earth as her aura and body faded away into crumbled golden dust.
I looked back where Kampe's body had lain, looking at my gauntleted hands. Just how much more powerful was I now than whenever I had fought her? I had been about twice Kampe's full power whenever I first met her, but I didn't even have Heavenly Thunder Form just yet then. Even in just my regular Thunder Form, I was easily over two hundred and fifty times her power, maybe more so.
Why was I becoming so powerful so quickly? Was it because of Thymos? Before I had gotten the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar, my rise in power had been much slower and way easier to keep track of? I knew Luke's Aposynthesi made him stronger overtime, as did the piece of Heavenly Diamond Iapetus had done the same for him, too? Was my growth in power also being affected by the chaotic material?
I shook my head clear of the thoughts, knowing that I currently had a job to do. Existential crisis' can wait for right now.
I took flight via my telekinesis, searching the city with my aura sense for anymore large and powerful auras. The city was pretty baren of them, except for the ones on our side. I could feel Annabeth, no doubt in her Eyes of The Owl form if I'm going by her aura, fighting alongside Taylor with the Grand Army of Olympus, facing off against hordes of monsters and enemy demigods.
I could feel Arthur, still on top of one of the many skyscrapers with his men, shooting arrows and bolts from large, celestial bronze ballistae at the flying enemies of the Titan army, which included dragons, griffons, drakes, and even flying chariots drawn by storm spirits piloted by enemy demigods. Arthur had his work to clear the skies cut out for him.
I could even feel Thalia and Zoe, who were on several of Arthur's friendly aerial monsters, raid the other half of the Titan army that was on the bridge. They, along with the rest of the Hunters, were shooting the metallic stockade walls and picking off stragglers. They weren't getting too close, likely because of the absolutely titanic aura that was located in the middle of the camp they had set up.
Hyperion. He was here. And I knew it was up to me to defeat him. He had gotten his full power back, and then some. Hyperion was stronger than ever, maybe even my equal in Heavenly Thunder Form, which was a real problem. Heavenly Thunder Form massively drained my aura and stamina, so I couldn't really use it longer than maybe ten to fifteen minutes at a time, otherwise it could literally erase me from existence.
And because of the fact Hyperion wouldn't have any stamina issues like myself, me being the only one powerful enough to face him was a problem. If I failed, Hyperion would destroy me, all of my friends and my entire army, ending Olympus' resistance entirely. Percy might be more powerful than me in his base and his Earthshaker form, but he didn't have a Heavenly Thunder Form equivalent. This was up to me.
And there was only one more step in the way of that one. While I was searching for more threats with my aura sense and finding my friends, I finally found one, somewhat strong enemy energy. I let lightning strike my form from the sky, dematerializing my body into pure lightning.
The technique I was doing was one I learned very recently, during my fight with Hades less than a week ago. I had been practicing it's use, making sure I got every aspect of the technique down pat. Teleportation was no joke, and wasn't the easiest thing to pull off, even with my immense natural talent for aura manipulation. If I ever saw Malachi, the son of Ouranos again, I'd thank him for it.
Me, as teleported lightning struck down in the middle of the street in front of a contingent of enemy demigods and monsters. They all jumped back, the demigod's Greek armor rattling and many of the monsters hissing or growling. None of them were impressive, neither the monsters nor the demigods. However, in front of the small battalion leading it, was a very familiar figure.
It was the size of a Semi, easily dwarfing even the Nemean Lion in sheer bulk. It had the head of a lion, with its mane covered and soaked in blood, literally dripping. It had both the body and legs of a goat, which was ridiculously muscled and rippled. Its tail was a literal giant snake, with it's fangs dripping with venom. Around the massive monster's neck was a blood caked collar, a very familiar one with a number on it.
I raised a finger, creating a telekinetic burst of energy that literally blew all of the enemy demigods and lesser monsters that were behind the familiar monster into the sky above the buildings. I closed my figure into a fist, creating a telekinetic gravity well that sucked everything in the sky into it. I opened my hand, creating a small storm around the well that added massive sparks of lightning and wind into it. The pressure of the gravity well tore the monsters and demigods apart, literally, as well as the lightning and wind. Blood, specks of gore, ash and golden dust rained down from the sky around me and the familiar monster.
I created a small telekinetic barrier around myself, as to not get dirty from the literal blood, gore, ash and dust rain. I smirked at the alone monster, which looked at me with an expression that was some mix of sheer rage and utter fear. "You know, I actually forgot to call the Tartarus number around your neck. I wonder if the Underworld actually has a company of retail workers taking calls from the divine world?"
The monster growled at my words, probably actually understanding them as it understood it's mother's commands back at the Arch. I smirked at the monster. "Well, it was good seeing you again, Chimera. Brings back some good memories."
My eyes turned bright blue, lightning crackling off my eyelids. The Chimera simply stood there, frozen. "Bye bye, kitty." Two beams of pure, bright blue aura erupted from my eyes, surrounded by lightning.
The two aura beams shot through the Chimera's lion head at speeds thousands of times faster than light, ripping out the back of the monster's head. Once the beams dispersed, the Chimera stood there on the street, a massive hole in its head.
After a couple seconds, it crumbled away into golden dust. I looked at the dust as it faded away, wondering why the Chimera didn't even try to attack me. Maybe it saw how I effortlessly dealt with its forces and just gave up?
I floated back into the air, dispelling my telekinetic gravity well and allowing all the torn apart corpses of the enemy demigods to fall to the ground, as well as copious amounts of golden dust and ash. Before I could even get the chance to continue using my aura sense to find threats, Percy appeared out of nowhere. He knelt on the roof of a skyscraper, motioning for me to come closer.
I floated towards Percy, my armored arms crossing. "You go down a trip on memory lane, too? Just ran into a bunch of fuckers we've faced in the past." I touched down on top of the building, overlooking the massive battle as it was happening.
Percy nodded at my words, twirling Riptide in his hand. "Same here. Just went up against Echidna, Circe and even Polyphemus. All of them were pushovers now, although Circe was seriously pissed to see me. Didn't stop me from sending her back to Tartarus." Percy stood back up and put Riptide in its pen form. "You feel anymore auras that could be enemy commanders?"
I shook my head. "Chimera was the last one, and he took awhile to actually find. I think we've taken them all out." Looking down at the fighting below, the Titan forces were starting to get slaughtered. Without their commanders, they had no direction, unlike my forces. Annabeth and Taylor were leading the charge, and with them at the helm, they decimated the leaderless Titan forces.
Percy nodded at my words. "Good. That means we have one last obstacle." Percy looked over towards the bridge, where the rest of the Titan army was located. I felt the burning, brilliant powerful aura straight from the middle of the stockaded camp. Percy looked back at me, a serious look on his face. "Hyperion."
I nodded grimly, knowing what Percy alluded to. "Yes. We're going to have to deal with him, one way or another." I turned my head to Percy, an expression of complete seriousness on my face. "Percy, when we confront Hyperion, I want you to leave him to me."
Percy looked at me, surprise etched on his features. "What? Why?" Percy turned his body completely towards my direction. "I'm pretty much invulnerable now thanks to the Curse, and I'm way stronger. Even if I'm not on the same level as Hyperion and you in your Heavenly Thunder Form, I can still help. I could at least be a distraction."
I shook my head. "I need you to make sure everyone is okay while I fight Hyperion. He's stronger than any threat we've faced so far, and that includes Luke seven months ago during that whole mess. This fight is going to be harder, more destructive and more dangerous than anyone we've faced yet. I need you to make sure nobody dies while I go all out against Hyperion, and make sure he doesn't kill anyone."
Percy looked at me, words no doubt on the tip of his tongue, yet he held them back. He obviously wanted to help me defeat Hyperion once and for all, and has no doubt been itching for action since he got the Curse. But he eventually nodded. "Fine, Zane. I'll leave Hyperion to you, just this once. I'm helping you when we fight Luke, no negotiation."
I smiled at Percy's willingness to fight alongside me, as well as chuckling off his words. "Alright, that's agreeable." I looked down at the fighting below, glad to see it had finally come to a close. "Fighting looks like it's stopping. I think all the monsters that tried to invade the city are gone."
Percy looked down below, his brow furrowed. He was no doubt using his aura sense on the city. "Yeah, looks like they're all gone. Only ones that are left are on the bridge with Hyperion, and even they've been picked off a bit by the Hunters." Percy looked back up to me. "Ready to end this?"
I nodded at Percy's question. "Absolutely." I reached out with my telepathy to my friends and the rest of the battle leaders. 'Attention! Once you've accounted for casualties and stragglers, meet me and Percy on Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. We have a Titan to kill.' None of the people I spoke to with my mind had the ability to talk back, so I didn't bother waiting for a response.
I floated in the air with my telekinesis, carrying Percy alongside with me in the sky. "I told everyone to commune on the bridge. Shouldn't be longer than ten minutes." Carrying Percy with me, I used my far beyond light speed movement to practically appear on the bridge, several hundred feet away from the Titan camp.
I set Percy down on the ground beside me as I touched down on the asphalt. I saw several flying chariots, pegasi and other flying creatures with Hunters at the reins, raining down arrows and crazily enough, celestial bronze missiles. There were no monsters on the top of the stockade wall, likely destroyed already.
One of the chariots flew down towards us, Thalia and Zoe at the helm. The two of them looked perfectly fine, only missing a few arrows from their quivers. "The battle over already?" Thalia asked with a raised eyebrow, walking off the chariot and towards me.
I nodded at Thalia's words, looking at the other Hunters rain down hellfire on the Titan camp. "Yep. Took out their commanders at the beginning and the rest tipped like cattle. Everyone is convening here on the bridge." I looked at the Titan camp, which the Hunters were still raining fire down upon. "You guys are really letting them have it. How come?"
Zoe looked back at the camp as well. "Look at the camp from the sky." I flew into the air using my telekinesis, looking at the spot where the Hunters were shooting, only for my brow to furrow. There was a golden sphere of aura around the camp, just inside the metal stockade, protecting all the monsters inside.
I floated back down towards Percy, Thalia and Zoe, my armored arms crossed. "So, Hyperion is protecting his half of the army with his energy, eh? Well…" I smirked, looking at Thymos. "I have something special cooked up for that." I turned to Thalia and Zoe. "Have your Hunters keep raining down fire. We need to keep Hyperion and his army contained for right now."
Thalia and Zoe nodded and then went to relay the orders, stepping back into their flying chariot to take flight. Me and Percy simply stood there on the bridge, waiting for our friends and the army to show up. Eventually, everyone did. Taylor, Annabeth, Arthur and everyone else, all of the camp counselors, Olympian commanders and even some mortal soldiers arrived. My friends led the army, as everyone else marched several dozen feet away.
I walked up to them, Percy following behind me. "Good job, guys. One half of the Titan army swimming with the fishes." I turned my gaze to Annabeth. "What's our causalities looking like?"
Annabeth looked at me, a slightly grim look on her face. "You want the short version…" Her eyes flashed eye, with small ethereal owls appearing where her pupils and iris should have been. "…or the long one?" I didn't exactly know what that mean, although Annabeth's analytical ability was pretty much supreme in her form, so maybe she was going to tell me every casualties' name and their dogs name, too?
I shook my head. "Short version will do fine." I mentally prepared myself for the worst. As I'm the commander, all the responsibility on the deaths fell to me and it was my fault.
Annabeth nodded; her Eyes of The Owl disappeared. "All things considered; it wasn't that much. We lost only thirty-seven units, with most of them being Olympian based soldiers. We only lost a couple campers, one daughter of Demeter and a son of Ares."
I nodded at Annabeth's report. "Alright, that's at least one little bit of good news." I felt guilty saying that, as those were people's lives I was talking about. I didn't want them to just be numbers, or assets I could replace. "Okay, now we have one last problem to deal with." I glared at the Titan camp. "And he's right over there."
Even though none of my friends could sense auras besides Percy, they all knew what I was talking about. "Hyperion." Taylor said, his face serious and semi-stressed. "When will we ever be rid of him? First, we fight him right after Luke betrayed us, then during that alternate universe fiasco, and now on this bridge."
I looked at Taylor. "Don't worry, this is the last time he bothers us." I looked down at Thymos, which radiated chaotic power as black particles permeated off it. "I'll make sure he stays dead, permanently this time." I looked at all my friends. "I'm going to deal with him by myself. Get the army off the bridge and to the mainland."
All of my friends besides Percy immediately started to argue, especially Taylor. "Are you fucking crazy!? Hyperion nearly killed you the last two times you fought him, and he's even stronger now! We're all here to help you, and we can fight-"
Flashes of all of my friends being massacred by Hyperion went through my head, and I immediately shook my head. "No!" Taylor immediately shut up, looking at me with a surprised expression. I sighed, my voice taking on a less aggressive tone. "Sorry, Taylor. But Hyperion could kill everyone here by blinking, except for me. I'm the only one who can fight him and I'm not going to let everyone I care about die!"
Everyone's face, even Percy's, was full of conflicting emotions. They all knew the logic of what I was saying yet they didn't want to send me into the lion's den that was fighting Hyperion all by myself. I looked at everyone, especially Taylor. "Please. Let me handle this."
There was silence for a solid four seconds, but eventually, Taylor spoke first. "…okay. We'll let you handle Hyperion. Right, everyone?" Everyone nodded, although they looked like they were being forced to swallow a lemon. Taylor quickly brought me into a hug, making my eyes widen in surprise. "Come back to me. Please." Taylor whispered in my ear.
I felt my heartbeat speed up, and suddenly I was scared of something else than simply just Hyperion. No, I was scared of dying and leaving Taylor by himself, without me. I kissed Taylor on the forehead, visibly in front of everybody else. "I will." I said out loud, not bothering to even try to hide my affection. Everybody, including Taylor looked completely surprised. They all knew of what happened between me and Taylor.
Taylor's cheeks turned red, and his expression turned into that of a big smile. He grabbed the sides of my head and brought me into a deep kiss, not at all caring about how it was in front of everyone else. The kiss only lasted for about four seconds, due to being pressed for time, yet it was heavenly. "Go kick that Titan's ass." Tayor said once the kiss broke, a massive grin on his face.
A quick glance at everyone else's face showed me the smiles on their faces, although Arthur just kind of looked away for a second with an awkward smile instead. I couldn't blame him, he once dated Taylor, too. "You bet." I turned away from my friends, looking at the Titan camp with a serious expression. "Get out of here, everyone."
I didn't bother to look back to see if they listened to me, although my aura sense told me that they did. I blasted off into the sky, creating a small harmless shockwave as I did so. I flew up above the Titan camp, seeing Hyperion's aura still protecting it, along with the Hunter futilely trying to get through. "Hold your fire!" I shouted, my voice easily making it to the Hunter's ears.
The firing stopped immediately, and a flying chariot pulling two Hunters flew up beside me. Thalia and Zoe. Several other Hunters also flew close to them, and in extension, me. "Zane?" Thalia was the first one to talk, her face laced with confusion. "Why do you want us to stop? We're keeping Hyperion and his army contained."
I nodded. "I know, and you've done a good job in that regard. But now is the time to destroy Hyperion and his army, not just besiege it. None of you can break through his barrier, so I'll handle it. Go back to the mainland and join with Percy and the others." I drew Thymos from my belt and looked down at the barrier. "Time to end this."
Even if I was the commander, that didn't stop the male discrimination of the Hunters to shine. "What makes thou think that thou can break through after we've been giving it everything we have for the past ten minutes?" One of the Hunters shout/asked, one that I briefly recognized as Phoebe, the Hunter Zoe recommended for the Atlas mission.
I smirked at Phoebe's ignorant question. "This does." I clenched both of my aura, slowly starting to yell. Lightning surged and crackled around my form, slowly becoming stronger and more numerous, forming a lightning cage around my body. The cage extended to over three meters, and my blue aura formed around a meter away from my body.
The entire city started to shake as I transformed into my regular Thunder Form, although I was immensely holding back the force my aura generated. I could destabilize a galaxy by powering up, much less a city. But this was not the end.
I focused my mind to Thymos, guiding the chaotic energy into my aura. I could visualize the infinite strands of the chaotic energy that were connected to even greater infinite strands, just barely touching the surface of the power locked away in the weapon. The chaotic energy imbued itself into my energy and I felt my power increase ten trillion-fold.
My normally bright blue lightning turned dark blue, complete with tiny specks of black particles, signature of Heavenly Diamond. My aura erupted to over ten meters in size, now the same dark blue color of my lightning, as well as the black particles. My normally bright blue glowing eyes shifted into dark blue glowing ones instead. I had completed my transformation into Heavenly Thunder Form.
The aura pressure massively increased, now shaking the entire planet rather than just New York, even with me holding back my strength immensely. I mean, I literally shook an infinite realm along with another possibly infinite realm at the same time. The Hunters around me were blown back, although they were fine as I made sure the weakest of my aura was in their vicinity, while the strongest was being pushed further out. Don't want to accidentally erase the Hunt from existence.
Every member of the Hunt, including Thalia and Zoe, had their jaws on the floor, and that was saying something considering we were hundreds of feet in the air. "H-Holy shit!" Thalia shouted after she had recovered. She had been blown off her chariot, but she had caught herself with her wind powers. "What the fuck is this!?"
I looked over at Thalia, who was floating with her wind powers, and smirked. "I call it Heavenly Thunder Form. I mix the chaotic energy from this…" I motioned towards Thymos. "…a weapon made from the same material that killed Atlas, called Heavenly Diamond, into my regular Thunder Form. Gives me Big Three level power."
Thalia, still looking at me with wide eyes alongside the rest of the Hunters. "Damn, I'll say! If you had this against Atlas, he would have been a pushover! You're like ten times stronger than him!" Thalia was likely using her aura sense on me, an ability she had as well due to her Big Three child status.
I chuckled at Thalia's words, shaking my head. "Well, if I was this strong against Atlas, I could take him out in one hit. I can do the same to any Big Three that's not our dad or Hyperion." I looked over down towards the energy shielded camp, my face turning serious. "Speaking of Hyperion…all of you get out of here. I'll handle this."
Zoe and Thalia immediately nodded, being able to sense just how strong I was and that I could back up my words. "Hunters! We leave Hyperion and his army to the son of Zeus!" Zoe shouted at to the rest of the Hunters, who were still suspended in air around us. Zoe looked at me, a serious expression on her face. "Destroy him."
I saluted her as her and the Hunters started to take off. "Will do." I turned to Hyperion's camp, my aura blazing up around me. "Let's do this." As soon as the words left my mouth, I hefted Thymos into the air, both mine and the weapon's chaotic aura erupting around the weapon. Black particles and dark blue energy beamed off the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar, as well as my aura.
Nonillions of times faster than light, I bolted down towards the camp, towards Hyperion's energy. I pulled Thymos back, surrounded with my immense energy, and smashed it against Hyperion's energy sphere. Hyperion's energy buckled for about half a second, before shattering into a million pieces with a massive shockwave.
I used my immensely fine-tuned aura control to make sure my monstrous swing didn't destroy the bridge, planet and the universe all at once. I slammed down into the camp, with all of the monsters being completely floored by me smashing through the barrier. I dropped my Heavenly Thunder Form to save stamina and glared at all the monsters. "Where is your commander?" I asked loudly, my voice completely serious.
"He's right here, son of Zeus." A very familiar, dark voice shot out from the largest tent, and a very tall familiar Titan walked out. Hyperion. He looked the exact same as her normally did. Ten-foot tall bipedal being seemingly made of fire, although I knew it was simply a shroud created by his armor. And speaking of his armor, it was just as bright and immaculate as it was the past two times I had seen him. His helmet was a bright gold hoplite helmet, the plume literally being made of fire.
I glared at the Titan, not at all in the mood for jokes. "Hyperion. I see you've reformed a second time. Or did you just escape when me and Matt were about to atomize your ass?" Feeling Hyperion's aura up close was nearly suffocating. It was far more powerful than either Atlas, Poseidon or Hades. It was even stronger than Luke's when we fought him on Old Man Matt's planet, and Hyperion didn't even have a Heavenly Diamond weapon.
Hyperion smirked at my words, taking his massive golden spear of his back. My eyes traced the tip of the weapon, which was covered in Hyperion's impossibly hot flames. "I managed to get away from the son of Heracles' blast in time. It was a close call." Hyperion's aura erupted around him, being that of a golden color mixed with fire particles. "I don't think I'm going to need to run away this time, Zane."
I grimaced at seeing Hyperion massive aura, that which completely floored all of the monsters in the camp and forced me to bring my arms up in front of my face. "Hm. Seems your every bit as powerful as Percy claims. I don't stand a chance against you, anymore." I was trying to at least somewhat to hide Heavenly Thunder Form, although I knew it was likely futile, considering I had smashed through Hyperion's aura.
Hyperion laughed, the sound full of arrogance and haughtiness. "Perseus Jackson is correct. I'm far more powerful than my former true power, even far above Atlas. My power in our previous engagements was nothing more than a drop in the bucket, even the one last year." Hyperion's laughs subsided, being replaced by an eager grin. "And you 'don't stand a chance?' Please, I know all about your so called 'Heavenly Thunder Form.'"
I frowned, although I wasn't surprised. It wasn't exactly a secret in either camp or Olympus. Hyperion's grin only widened. "My lord has told me all about it. Infusing your aura with chaotic energy from Heavenly Diamond. Ingenious, although the way you gain power seems different than my lord. Curious." Hyperion pointed his spear at me. "Go ahead and transform. Rid me of these weaklings." Hyperion motioned around to the monsters and demigods in the camp.
Said monsters and demigods immediately looked like a deer in headlight, and I shrugged. "If you insist." I closed my eyes, feeling the chaotic power locked away in the Morningstar. The energy quickly escaped the Heavenly Diamond weapon and seeped into my aura. The now all too familiar feeling of chaotic energy flowed through me, transforming me into Heavenly Thunder Form.
From my transformation, a wave of blue, black particle filled energy erupted from me. The wave completely encompassed the camp, atomizing all of the monsters and tents, along with erasing the enemy demigods from existence. Hyperion's burning fire gold aura solidified around him, protecting him from being hurt by the divine killing energy.
The camp was completely wiped off the map, leaving nothing but me, Hyperion and the bridge standing. I had made sure the transformation didn't atomize the bridge, as well as the planet. Being in Heavenly Thunder Form was hard sometimes. I glared at Hyperion, my dark blue glowing eyes staring at his burning, featureless face. "Ready for round three?"
Hyperion's grin turned into a dark, maniacal laugh, almost as insane as Luke's. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Hyperion stared at me, his fiery face grinning once more. "Always." With that, both me and the Titan of Heavenly Light charged one another, nonillions of times faster than light.
I pulled Prometheus' sword from the sheath on my back, mentally thanking myself for getting a bigger sheath for the weapon so I didn't have to hit the hilt every time. Prometheus' sword immediately was covered by my dark blue chaotic aura, as well as being coated in a generous amount of dark chaotic lightning.
Me and Hyperion met in the middle of the bridge, Thymos and Prometheus' Sword slamming against Hyperion's aura coated golden spear. The impact was enormous, immediately leveling the entire Verrazzano-Narrows bridge and causing all the building's windows in Manhattan to completely shatter. Some of the smaller buildings even collapsed.
The bridge had completely disappeared, with only small remnants on the edge of Manhattan. Both me and Hyperion were left flying in mid-air, trying to overpower one another. My arms burned and the muscles bulged as I struggled against Hyperion's power, his strength equal to mine. I could see the grin on the Titan's burning face, as our heads got closer and closer as we fought for supremacy.
Out of nowhere, Hyperion smashed his helmet adorned forehead into my nose, sending me rocketing back several dozen meters. I hissed in pain, wiping a bit of blood from my nose. Hyperion simply laughed and opened his mouth to say something, however, I interrupted him via charging directly at him. I pulled Prometheus' sword back, coating the blade in poison with a button touch, and swung directly at Hyperion's unarmored neck.
Hyperion brough his aura covered spear up right in the nick of time, being taken off guard. The weapon collision caused a titanic shockwave, creating massive tidal waves in a three hundred and sixty degree radius around us. The tidal waves facing the sea simply traveled out to open waters, and the tidal wave that was going to instantly destroy Manhattan oddly vaporized before my eyes. Likely Percy's doing.
Hyperion's arm trembled while it was holding back my larger blade, although Hyperion didn't seem to mind it. No, his face was plastered with his normal fiery grin, and I didn't even need my telepathy to hear his insane thoughts. "Let's step this up a notch, shall we?" I glared at Hyperion, my dark blue lightning starting to surge a bit.
In the next femtosecond, both me and Hyperion blurred out of view to anyone that wasn't Luke or my father, moving at speeds nonillions of times faster than light. Millions, no, billions of blows collided, attacks were thrown, energy blasts blasted, anything you can think of, all happened within six femtoseconds.
Both me and Hyperion practically teleported all across the skyline of Manhattan as we fought, the billions of small, controlled shockwaves that reverberated from our colliding weapons sounding like the sound of millions of gunshots rapid fire all at once. Cracks, rips and tears in reality started to form in our fight, with the colors mixing from red, dark blue, purple and fiery yellow. Dozens of multiversal portals formed around me and Hyperion, no doubt being caused by my chaotic energy being burned.
The portals themselves cracked apart and shattered just being in our vicinity, as if they sprouted to life and said life was taken just seconds later. Dark, chaotic energy filled storm clouds naturally formed above us due to our battle. Things already didn't look right in reality, as the rain was going upside-down and the sky above the clouds somehow literally reflected the surging ocean below. The fabric of reality was beginning to fail, and we had just started.
I knew this was really, reallybad. The past few times I fought in Heavenly Thunder Form, several universes got destroyed, along with million of stars in Mortal Zane's universe and Earth, not to mention all the people Luke killed. And those had been longer, more drawn-out fights. Me and Hyperion were literally just warming up.
Dodging a final swipe from Hyperion that would have decapitated me, I kicked the armored Titan away from the sky battlefield and to Manhattan. Hyperion grunted in pain as he flew away towards the battle damaged and shaking city, still feeling the delayed wrath of our battle. Before Hyperion can hit the ground and cause enough force to slam through the planet and turn it into space dust, I appeared in front of his trajectory, grabbing him by the neck.
Before Hyperion could completely recover and try to escape my grasp, I took flight through the city at full speed, pulling Hyperion through an array of dozens of skyscrapers. The buildings practically crumbled into pebbles as me and Hyperion moved through them, with me slamming him through each building with full, controlled force.
Hyperion tried to grab my arm and pull it away from his neck, but before he could I slammed my forehead into his helmet protected face. Hyperion grunted in pain as the force of my headbutt rattled his brain, and I closed my eyes and stifled a hiss. Maybe headbutting someone who's equal strength to you without a helmet was a bad idea.
I didn't think about that anymore and simply threw Hyperion ahead of my flight, the force causing thousands of delayed small, hypersonic booms that ripped apart even more empty skyscrapers around us. Hyperion flew through the air like some kind of cosmic bullet, ripping through three final skyscrapers with the force to created massive, cauterized holes in them.
Hyperion's thrown frame effortlessly escaped orbit as it bolted over the horizon, being sent straight in the direction of the asteroid belt. I immediately followed suit after the Titan, glad to take the fight off world and away from my fragile planet. Hyperion practically reached the asteroid belt in an instant, so I decided to use something to catch him off guard.
I willed storm clouds to quickly materialize around me before I left the atmosphere, as well as willing one of the dark chaotic lightning bolts to strike me. I dematerialized, using Malachi's teleportation technique once more. My form felt different than the normal teleportation one, likely due to the chaotic energy from the lightning which had struck me.
Teleportation was a very difficult technique, one that normally takes years or decades to fully master. Yet I had learned it on the fly, so my practice wasn't perfect. Although, I knew the technique through and through now, as I had been using the teleportation technique very liberally. For the technique to work I needed to be able to envision where I was going, otherwise I could end up somewhere random. I had just thrown Hyperion into the asteroid belt, so I had just the place to envision.
Dark chaotic lightning struck an empty void in space, where two years prior I had created a large empty space in the asteroid belt when I had released all of my rage at seeing Arthur kiss Taylor. My form materialized in the vacuum of space, millions of miles from the rapidly approaching Hyperion. I instantly covered the distance moving nonillions of times faster than light.
Hyperion had recovered from my powerful throw, now standing on an asteroid waiting for me in his fighting stance. However, I smashed through the asteroid from the other side, taking Hyperion completely off guard. I slammed my foot directly into Hyperion's armored back, causing the Titan to roar in pain. Hyperion flew forward several meters, clutching his back and growling. But before he could turn back towards me, I brought back Thymos.
Quickly charging my aura into the weapon, further amping the chaotic energy already surging through the weapon. I couldn't power the weapon with enough energy to kill Hyperion with a direct hit, but I could hit him hard enough to break something. I appeared directly behind Hyperion, swinging the weapon directly towards Hyperion's skull.
Hyperion managed to turn around just in time to bring the shaft of his spear in time to deflect Thymos' immensely powerful blow, although I didn't do much to protect him from the sheer force of the swing. Thymos smashed into Hyperion's spear, creating a monumental shockwave that sent Hyperion flying off in space again, as well as creating another, even bigger void in the belt than before.
Hyperion flew out of what was left of the asteroid belt even faster than either of us could move, flying back in the direction of Earth. I prepared to teleport back to my home planet, however I noticed with my aura sense that Hyperion had stopped in the middle of space abruptly, as if he had hit something. My brow furrowed. Did he land on a meteor heading to Earth or something?
I formed more storm clouds around me, surprisingly able to do so despite being in the vacuum of space. The dark lightning struck me again, teleporting me to Hyperion location. I appeared in front of the Titan of Heavenly Light, my fist already drawn back to punch him directly in the cheek. However, this time Hyperion was ready. He caught my armored fist in his own, even bigger armed fist.
Hyperion then kicked me in the gut, knocking the wind out of me and sending me flying back several dozen meters. I flipped in the air, catching myself with my telekinesis. I noted we were in the atmosphere of a planet, a sandy dark orange one. I looked down, recognizing the planet as Mars. I looked up just in time to see Hyperion's aura coated golden spear three inches from my eyelid.
On sheer instinct, I slashed sideways with Prometheus' sword, knocking Hyperion's spear away with a massive shockwave. Hyperion's spear went flying off into space likely millions of miles away, and beneath us, Mars practically exploded into a mix of rock, fire and sand, being completely torn apart from the force of my swing. I glanced down at the destroyed planet, hoping that Martians didn't actually exist.
Hyperion didn't mind losing his weapon, as he simply just materialized it again in his hand. Hyperion grinned, pointing his spear at me. "Hehehehehe…..not even two years ago, I could play with both you and the son of Hercules at the same time, yet now you're matching me step for step at my full, no, my new full power. You're more powerful than I ever believed you could have been." Hyperion's fiery grin widened. "Now I see why Atlas liked to fight so much! This is sensational!"
I glared at Hyperion, my dark blue glowing eyes baring into his fiery ones. "You and Atlas seem to have a lot in common. Both of you are ten-feet tall, immensely powerful…" I appeared in front of Hyperion's face, Thymos and Prometheus' sword brought back. "And now, you're going to die just like him!" Hyperion barely brought up his spear just in time to block my double attack, causing his arms to buckle in exertion.
I took this opportunity, kicking Hyperion directly in the chin. Hyperion went flying through space once more, with me zooming off towards him. Hyperion just barely missed the sun by a couple miles, something I was very thankful for. Didn't want to destroy that.
Hyperion managed to recovered midflight, although I was on his ass immediately. We starting to trade blows once more, the entire solar system becoming our battleground. We practically teleported across the solar system; our speed so high it would make an astrophysicist's brain explode. Shockwaves continued to be produced by our weapons, although I did my best to create telekinetic fields so none of them erased Earth from existence.
Hyperion managed to avoid a stab from Prometheus' sword that would have destroyed his heart, hitting the flat end of the blade with the bottom of his spear. I nearly lost my grip on the weapon, and that would have been bad. I can't just summon it like Hyperion could his. Speaking of the Titan of Heavenly Light, he pulled his armored hand back and backhanded me across the face, forcing me to spit up a glob of blood and send me flying through the solar system myself.
Hyperion hit me so hard, I moved through hundreds of millions of miles in the blink of an eye. I quickly saw an object in space approaching, barely stopping myself with my telekinesis before I smashed right through it. When I stopped moving, my eyes laid upon another planet. Jupiter.
Before I could do anything, a massive force slammed into me from behind, and I felt an iron grip around the horse collar of my armor in the force of a massive, nearly burning hand. Hyperion wasn't out of this yet, despite my earlier kicking him around. Hyperion flew directly towards Jupiter at full speed, pulling me right in front of him.
As soon as we entered the atmosphere, the force of our movement practically evaporated the gassy surface, completely dispersing the outer shell of the now former gas giant. We slammed through Jupiter's iron core, completely disintegrating it almost immediately and continuing to flew through space. We quickly left the solar system, not before also ripping right through Pluto's moon, Charon.
I eventually grabbed Hyperion's hand, throwing him in front of me and stopping my movement. Now that we were out of the solar system, I could stop holding back the impact of my blows as much. In front of me, Hyperion flipped in the air, stopping his momentum and turning towards me. He didn't get a second to blink before I appeared in front of him, swing Thymos at absolute full force.
The Heavenly Diamond Morningstar smashed into the side of Hyperion's armored head, the helmet allowing him to survive the blow, sending him flying through the vast array of stars once more with a titanic shockwave. Thousands, no, millions of said stars disappeared after my swing, although I didn't pay it too much mind. No, my only goal was to destroy Hyperion.
I flew towards Hyperion through empty space, barely being able to keep pace to due to speed he was moving from the swing. Other, full-fledged galaxies came into direct view, showing we had left the Milky Way. I finally caught up with Hyperion, drawing back Prometheus' sword to take the Titan's head off with a single swipe.
Hyperion barely avoided the swing by a nose, kicking me in the side away from him. I grunted in pain, being knocked several dozen meters away from the Titan of Heavenly Light. I briefly looked back at the Milky Way, before my eyes widened in shock. Half of the galaxy, my home galaxy, was gone. Did…did my swing do that? The one that knocked Hyperion away?
Speaking of Hyperion, I looked back at the Titan. Hyperion's glorious golden armor was now covered in chips, dents and cracks, and his nose was dripping with ichor. Despite the fact I was virtually injured and barely even touched, Hyperion didn't even seem annoyed. Huh. I guess I had awakened his battle lust or something.
Hyperion seemed to notice my surprise at literally half the Milky Way galaxy being missing. "You know, Zane, despite how powerful you are now, you don't seem to understand the scale of it. We can destroy galaxies simply by waving our arms, universes with surges of our power, and that is only a drop in the bucket of our full potential."
Hyperion held out both his arms. "Earth is fragile, despite it being the most important planet in the universe. So out here, millions of light years away, we can really let loose and showcase how much power we really have?" Hyperion pointed his spear at me, his fiery yellow around erupting around him. "Show me how strong you are, Zane Williams!"
My grip tightened around Prometheus' sword and Thymos, and my dark blue, black particle filled aura doubled in size around me. "Be careful what you wish for, Hyperion." I charged the Titan of Heavenly Light, and said Titan of Heavenly Light did much the same.
In the span of the next two minutes, me and Hyperion fought across the cosmos. Trillions of attacks, energy blasts, aura eruptions, everything happened. Reality started to crack very much like over the skyline of Manhattan, but this time it was on a much, much larger scale. More multicolored cracks, rips, tears and distortions formed across dozens, no, hundreds of galaxies as me and Hyperion fought for supremacy.
As I fought, I started to hold back less and less, our blows tearing apart galaxies with just the shockwaves. Galaxies vanished by the thousands, with space becoming emptier and more of a void than before. Hyperion and I raced across the universe, slowly tearing it apart. I hoped aliens didn't exist in my reality, otherwise me and Hyperion probably just wiped-out countless civilizations.
I dodged a spear thrust from Hyperion that annihilated a galaxy cluster, the spear tip slicing the edge of my cheek. I felt a horrible, burning sensation in the side of my face and I started to feel unimaginable pain as if I was burning from within. However, despite all this, I ignored it. My healing factor would eventually take care of it, so I could focus on Hyperion.
I slammed my armored elbow into Hyperion's gut, cracking his armor and creating a burst of energy and aura that completely annihilated the galaxy we briefly entered. Hyperion grunted in pain and a glob of ichor erupted from his fiery mouth. I kicked Hyperion in his armored temple, knocking him into another galaxy cluster. I followed his trajectory at full speed, trying to finish him off with a powerful slam from Thymos.
Hyperion blurred out of view, completely dodging my attack. He appeared behind me, his spear covered in his aura, primed for my neck. I couldn't move out of the way entirely, so I moved my armored shoulder pauldron in the path of Hyperion's spear. The golden weapon slammed in my armored shoulder, breaking it with the sheer force of the attack.
I yelled in pain but didn't let it affect my movement. I rolled backwards with the blow, slamming my armored foot into Hyperion's chin. The Titan went slack for a millisecond, before being sent out of the galaxy we were in, leaving me as its sole inhabitant. I tracked Hyperion's aura as it was flying away and my face hardened. Time to end this.
I sheathed Prometheus' sword and only focused on Thymos, drawing out more and more chaotic energy than I ever had before. My aura erupted around me, growing larger and larger. First, it grew to several dozen meters, then hundreds of miles, then thousands of light years. I couldn't see it, but I could feel my aura literally rise out of the galaxy, completely destabilizing it and shattering it apart as I powered up with a roar that sounded a googolplex of nuclear warheads going off all at once.
And all of a sudden, I pulled my aura right back into Thymos, filling the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar with so much power that it practically vibrated and shimmered in my hand. Reality seemed to bend around the weapon, creating images and sights I couldn't even possibly describe literally in the palm of my hand. I formed more dark, chaotic lightning filled storm clouds around me, willing the dark sapphire lightning to strike my form.
I followed Hyperion's aura in my 'teleport form', you could call it, the immense amount of power not disappearing in the teleportation. It did make things more distorted and even harder to comprehend, by I paid not mind to any of that. I teleported right in front of Hyperion with a thundercrack, who was in a defensive stance, no doubt having felt my massive aura surge.
I pointed Thymos directly at Hyperion's face, who's fiery eyes widened in complete surprise. Thymos hummed and surged with immense power for a femtosecond, before unleashing a massive blast of dark sapphire, lighting surrounded energy directly at Hyperion's form. Hyperion just barely brough up his aura coated golden spear in defense, instantly being pushed back several hundred meters.
The blast was easily the must powerful thing I'd ever produced in my life, and that was counting the lightning I used against Ouranos that one time. Hyperion's aura moved from his frame to his spear, in an attempt to try and defend from my blast. I roared as my arms burned and bulged, putting my all into the attack. Hyperion was going to die, permanently.
Hyperion's own roar mirrored mine, as he defended from my momentous blast. His golden, fiery aura that was formed around his spear formed into a sphere of energy around him. After several seconds of my beam slamming into Hyperion's energy sphere, Hyperion suddenly shouted and threw out both of his arms. Hyperion's energy sphere erupted in all directions, dispersing my blast and sending me flying away from the several dozen galaxies the force obliterated.
After being shot several hundred thousand light years away, I flipped mid flight to recover, my expression one of complete shock. That had been the strongest attack I had ever performed in my life. Stronger than the Thymos blast against Matt, stronger than Heavenly Fury against Luke and even stronger than Heavenly Wrath against Sinister Zane. How did Hyperion disperse it? It was even stronger than me and him combined.
Hyperion appeared in front of my face at full speed, his spear poised directly for my forehead. I brought up Thymos, deflecting the spear away with the force to annihilate several galaxies. Hyperion was off guard, giving me the perfect opportunity to smash the flat end of Prometheus' sword in Hyperion's side. Hyperion went rocket away several dozen meters with a grunt, but he quickly recovered.
I glared at Hyperion, noting that even after defending against my Thymos blast for nearly half a minute, Hyperion was in relatively the same shape as before. "How the fuck did you disperse my blast!? I pumped enough energy in that attack to even kill Luke!" I might have been exaggerating a bit, since Luke probably would have blocked it with Aposynthesi, but it should have been easily enough to kill Hyperion.
Hyperion simply smirked at my words. "If you believe that pathetic display is enough to kill even me, much less my lord, then you're more deluded and naïve than you've showcased in the past, and that's saying something." Hyperion's words causing veins to bulge from my forehead, and I grounded my teeth in rage.
I was furious. I had just pretty much put my all into that attack, yet Hyperion called it weak. "'Pathetic display?' Oh, I'll show you a pathetic display, you glowing motherfucker." My aura erupted around me at full power, yet it wasn't enough. I drew more and more strength from Thymos, tapping into more chaotic energy and power than I ever had before. My strength shot above Hyperion's, causing the Titan's eyes to widen in complete shock.
All of the veins underneath my skin became slightly visible and I bulked up slightly, although not by much. The sapphire color of my aura got even darker, and the black particles became even more numerous. I was pushing myself to another level I had never reached before, and the force made Hyperion cover his face with his golden armored arms.
I glared directly at Hyperion, my eyes an even darker sapphire color than normal, mirroring my aura. "Time for you to die, you son of a bitch." I appeared in front of Hyperion quicker than he could blink, slamming my fist into his armored torso. The golden cuirass cracked all over the front, and Hyperion spit up another glob of ichor. The force created by the blow was far greater than any attack I had produced so far, except the Thymos blast. Several nearby galaxy superclusters were annihilated instantly by the wave of chaotic force created by the punch.
Hyperion immediately was sent flying through the cosmos, ripping apart galaxies as he passed through them from the sheer force of his movement speed created by my punch. Using my aura sense, I could tell a good thirty percent of the universe had been completely annihilated, erased from existence. While that sounded really horrible, I had the key to the multiverse in my right hand burning with power. There had to be something that could fix everything after the war was finished out there.
Back to the cosmic battle, I teleported behind Hyperion using the lightning teleportation technique, slamming my fist into Hyperion's back. The armor cracked and dented even more, the golden cuirass barely holding together. Hyperion roared in pain as I heard a crack erupt from his spin, although Hyperion flipped mid trajectory and did his best to recover. It didn't matter, as I was now quite a bit faster than him, and I appeared right in front of the Titan of Heavenly Light.
Hyperion seemed to expect this, as he tried to skewer his spear into my left eye. I simply dodged the attack, seeing it coming clearly due to my speed advantage. I spun from the dodge, slamming my heel into the left side of Hyperion's face. Hyperion grunted; the left half of his helmet being completely dented. I drew Thymos back, ready to finish the Titan of once and for all with a full power swing that would atomize every cell in his body.
However, before I could do so, Hyperion snapped his fingers on his left hand. In a single flash of light, I was now in a very familiar world along with the Titan. Hyperion's dimension, the one me and Matt fought him in. The landscape was filled with brimstone, magma and fire pillars off in the distance, complete with the sun with the strange illumination.
Hyperion staggered to his feet, having fallen on his ass as shown as we materialized into this place. Hyperion looked at me, ichor dripping from all over his burning face. Or should I say half burning face? Half of Hyperion's helmet was pretty much destroyed, and the fiery veil that his helmet casted seemed to faze in and out of existence on the left side, allowing me to see half of the Luke-like face of the Titan.
Hyperion glared at me, although he controlled his rage. "Welcome back to my personal dimension, Zane. I take it you remember this place very well." Hyperion's half fiery brows furrowed. "Although you seem to be handling the heat much better than last time." That was true. The heat of the dimension didn't bother me at all in my somewhat improvised power stressed Heavenly Thunder Form. It felt like a normal day in Manhattan.
I scoffed at Hyperion's words, trying to sense his aura to see if he was weakened or not. I hadn't hit him directly with Thymos or my chaotic infused energy, so his power hadn't decreased, despite his injuries. By now, all of my injuries had healed, including the broken shoulder and burning cut on my face. "You bring back this pathetic farce, Hyperion? It didn't work back then when I was weaker, so what makes you think it'll work now?"
Hyperion's half fiery face formed into a smirk. "Back then I was weaker as well, not to mention I had two opponents. Now that I have you to myself, and you're in my domain, this will be a cakewalk." I didn't even need my telepathy or emotional sensing to feel the arrogance rolling off the Titan in waves.
I raised an eyebrow at the Titan's words. "'In your domain,' huh? Well, let's fix that real quick." Faster than Hyperion could even blink, I charged my power stressed aura to it's maximum. My aura erupted around me, being dozens of meters in diameter. The familiar rips, cracks and tears in reality appeared, as well as multiversal portals. However, rather than hold back my strength for the sake of space time, I went all out.
In the span of just a couple of seconds, Hyperion's dimension was completely filled with rips in reality, with there being literally millions of large, massive cracks in the sky and air. Hyperion's half fiery jaw dropped at my showcase of power. "W-What…impossibl-!" Hyperion's words were cut off by his dimension completely shattering before my eyes, literally breaking apart into millions of pieces of broken reality like a cosmic mirror.
Hyperion's dimension was gone as fast as it came, leaving the two of us in empty space once more. Hyperion's half fiery eyes were the size of dinner plates, and he was completely stunned in silence. I had literally just destroyed his personal reality, his trump card, just by powering up. "…how…?" Hyperion whispered to himself, too much in awe to speak clearly.
I gripped Thymos in my hand, ready to end Hyperion in a single strike. However, I paused. Even when holding back immensely, swinging Thymos caused untold damage to the universe and dozens of galaxies at once, likely ending quintillions of lives with each swing. While I planned to somehow revive them all later, I would rather not accidentally kill anyone else.
I twirled Thymos in my hand, shooting a beam of chaotic energy surrounded by lightning into the very fabric of space time behind Hyperion. The Titan jumped to the side, completely surprised by the blast. I wasn't trying to hit Hyperion, however. No, a portal erupted from the impact site of the beam, an infinite kaleidoscope of color able to be seen. Hyperion looked at the portal. "..the multiverse." His voice was still subdued, not having recovered from my earlier show of power.
I glared at the Titan of Heavenly Light. "That's right, Hyperion. Me and you are going on a ride." Before Hyperion could even ask what I meant, I appeared in front of him faster than he could track, grabbing him by the neck. I then blasted off into the multiversal portal, hauling Hyperion with me, my vision temporarily being filled with an infinite hallway of infinite color.
The kaleidoscope eventually faded, breaking way to the border realm of the multiverse. Infinite dimensions, realities and universe gates as far as the eye could see appeared in my vision, a familiar sight. Hyperion finally had recovered from his stupor, trying to rip himself from my grip around his neck. I charged a surge of dark, sapphire lighting into his body, finally hurting him directly with chaos energy, slightly lowering his aura and weakening him.
Before Hyperion could resist me once more, I scanned several dozen universal gates with my aura sense, trying to find a universe devoid of life entirely. It would be the safest place to deal with the Titan of Heavenly Light, without causing too much more damage to my own reality. I finally found one that was empty, and I rocketed off towards it, still holding Hyperion.
Me and the Titan shattered right through the gate, ripping a hole directly into the universe. It was completely dark, with no planets, stars or galaxies. It was dead and void. I pulled my fist back, coating it in pure sapphire chaotic energy and slamming it into the right side of Hyperion's face. The force of the blow completely shattered Hyperion's helmet, sending him flying millions of light years away in a near instant.
The now all too familiar tears in reality formed in this dead universe, finally giving the dimension some light and color. I didn't pay any attention to any of that, as I knew I had to end this right now. I could feel my aura's power decrease slightly, as my stamina was beginning to fail. This new power stressed version of Heavenly Thunder Form had pretty much drained all of my stamina in less than two minutes, a terrible trade off for the immense power increase.
I appeared right in front of the entrance to the border realm, floating inside the portal. Half of me was in the border reality and the other half was in the dead universe. I sheathed Thymos back in it's sheath, along where Prometheus' sword and Keravnos currently were. I cupped my hands together, much like the position of Matt's hands when he did Red Beam Cannon, only my hands were vertical rather than horizontal.
I channeled all of the chaotic energy surging throughout my aura into a ball of dark blue, lightning surrounded energy, forcibly exited Heavenly Thunder Form, leaving me in my regular Thunder Form. I was immensely vulnerable at the moment, as if Hyperion recovered right now, he would be able to blitz me and I would be dead. I brought my hands to my side, the ball of pure, lighting filled chaotic power burning and surging in the palm of my hands.
"Heavenly…." I closed my eyes, channeling more energy from Thymos at my side. Rather than seeping into my aura, it seeped into my blast. I channeled even more chaotic energy than I ever had before into the blast, equivalent to hundreds, if not thousands of Heavenly Thunder Forms. The ball of energy in the palm of my hands grew to the size of a watermelon, far larger than any blast I had ever created.
I felt Hyperion's aura, which had mostly been still, twitch and I forcibly pushed myself into Heavenly Thunder Form once again, my body screaming in protest. As soon as I ascended, I saw Hyperion literally twenty feet away from me, about to enter the portal with his aura coated spear drawn back. His Luke-like face was clearly visible now, dripping with ichor and twisted into an expression of fury.
I used my telekinesis to throw myself back about ten feet to create some distance between me and Hyperion and said Titan had almost cleared the portal in that time. However, he had been too slow. It was over. "…JUDGEMENT!" I thrusted both of my arms forwards, erupting a massive beam even more powerful than the earlier Thymos blast.
A titanic shockwave was produced by the beam, one strong enough to crack dozens of other gateways and portals just by being in the vicinity of the blast. The beam completely encased Hyperion in a near instant, covering him from my sight. His aura immediately vanished, being completely gone without a trace, likely being annihilated by my Heavenly Judgement.
The beam traveled directly into the open portal that led to the dead universe, going inside and no doubt completely ripping apart the space time of its reality. I only fired the beam for a couple seconds, before dropping my control and allowing the beam to full travel inside the dead reality. The portal closed almost immediately after, and for a couple of femtoseconds, all was quiet.
Then, all of a sudden, the closed gateway of the dead reality completely exploded into a trillion shards. Chaotic energy from my blast expanded into all directions, sending me blasting back thousands of meters just from the force of the universe exploding. My vision was completely obstructed by all the energy surging in all directions, which last for nearly a minute.
Once the sapphire lightning filled chaotic energy wave finally dissipated, I feasted my eyes upon the damage. My eyes widened instantly, my jaw on the hypothetical floor of the border realm. Hundreds of gateways that had once been there, that had once been completely fine or only somewhat cracked, were now gone, erased from existence.
I…just killed untold amounts of people. The number of lives extinguished was so high, I couldn't even comprehend the number. And it was all done to finally extinguish Hyperion. All those people perished just so I could win. I…had to fix this, I had to find a way to bring all those people back. However, I could do so whenever this war was over. They weren't gone forever, and I would make sure they wouldn't even remember being gone. I had nothing to worry about. Hyperion was dead, and all those people would soon be back.
I dropped my Heavenly Thunder Form back into base, taking a sigh of relief. My stamina was gone at this point, and I was exhausted. If I used Heavenly Thunder Form again, I would very quickly lose power. I flew through the border realm, searching for my home dimension with my aura sense. Luckily enough, I found it in only twenty seconds, thankfully untouched by that monumental blast from earlier.
I flew through the portal, appearing in empty space. I scanned the cosmos with my aura sense, cringing as I felt nearly a third of the universe was gone from Hyperion and I's fight. I quickly found Earth, locking in one the auras of my friends. I willed storm clouds to form around me, and bright blue lighting struck my form.
I struck down on the shoreline of Manhattan, teleporting over a several hundred million light year distance. I materialized in front of Percy, who jumped back at my sudden appearance. "Gah!" Nearly fell down from shock, and the rest of my friends flinched at my appearance. Percy quickly recovered, and a look of complete relief covered his face. "Oh, thank the gods, man!" Percy brought me into a bone crushing hug, which actually hurt due to his greater strength.
I wheezed a little bit, but managed to be fine. "Damn, Percy. You're strong as hell." Percy didn't even try to look sheepish, as his face was completely relieved still. "What's wrong? You look like the Yankees almost lost to the Hoot Owls."
Percy shook his head. "Dude, look up." I looked up at the sky, and my eyes widened. The entire sky was completely covered in dark blue and fiery gold spots, as if they were the new constellations that were formed in place of the now destroyed ones. "Your fight with Hyperion got messy, horribly so. I think nearly a third of the universe is gone now."
I nodded at Percy's observation. "You'd be right about that. I tried my best to mitigate the damage, but Hyperion was absolutely nuts. Dude nearly killed me several times." I sighed. "And the damage was far worse than that. Hundreds of realities throughout the multiverse are gone, and it's all my fault." Percy's face was completely stunned, as if he couldn't believe what I just said.
Taylor had walked up by now, quickly bringing me into a hug. "Oh, thank fuck you're alright." I quickly returned to hug, careful to not crush the son of Ares. Taylor looked up at me, pure relief also on his face. "I'm not even going to tell you that you're an idiot or smack you, you already know that." I chuckled at Taylor's words. Taylor then looked concerned. "And what is this I here about hundreds of realities?"
The smiled faded from my face and I sighed once more. "Me and Hyperion's fight went all the way into the multiverse, which caused hundreds of realities to be destroyed. My fault, unfortunately." Taylor's face immediately morphed into a copy of Percy's expression. "However, I think I know of a way to reverse the damage, once this war is over.
Annabeth, who had walked up with both Arthur and Young Matt by now, raised an eyebrow at my words. Her surprised look that all my friends had adorned faded at my words. "Really? How exactly?"
I looked at the daughter of Athena. "The multiverse is vast and infinite, so by probability there's a one hundred percent chance there's a fix out there, somewhere. The damage caused by our fight is not permanent." Everyone looked immediately relieved once more at that.
Arthur stepped forwards, an inquisitive gaze on his face. "What about Hyperion? Since you're back and he isn't, I assume he's dead, right?" Arthur managed to put the pieces together real quick.
I nodded. "Yep. Erased him with the blast that destroyed to realities. Hyperion is absolutely, positively dea-" That was all I could get out of my mouth before an intensely hot, burning sensation erupted from the left side of my face, along with horrible, tearing pain. A shockwave immediately exploded in the middle of me and my friends, sending the six of us flying back dozens of meters.
I sprawled on the ground, completely unable to recover from what was possibly the most painful thing I'd experienced in all my life. The left half of my face felt like it was on fire, and I brought my hand up to it to feel the damage. My eyes widened in terror as I realized there was a large chunk of my face I couldn't even touch. My jaw. Half of my jaw, specifically the left side was completely gone. The wound was cauterized by fire, so there wasn't even any blood.
Before my brain could even process anything else, a shadow instantly covered my frame, prompting me to look up at the source with wide eyes. A familiar, ten foot tall being in golden, cracked armor with a golden spear stood over me. No. No. No. No. No. NO! That was impossible!
Hyperion stood over me, his face completely on display, which was covered in ichor and cuts. His golden armor was practically destroyed and cracked; his fiery illusion now completely gone. His power was only around eighty percent of its full strength, due to the damage from chaotic energy. However, despite all the injuries and the ruination of his golden visage, Hyperion simply grinned almost sadistically at me.
Hyperion's golden eyes stared into my electric blue ones. "My, my. You thought that pathetic little attack had finished me off. How foolish of you, son of Zeus." Hyperion raised his spear, primed for my face. And this time, there was nothing I could do to stop it.

End chapter forty five! Sorry this came out so late again, this one simply took a lot of effort to write and the past month has been pretty fucking brutal for me. But don't worry, and I promise, from here on out, we get things done quick! No more month long breaks, only a couple of weeks at most. Promise! Anyway, sorry this ending message is short, its 12 in the morning and I want to go to bed lmao. Bye y'all!
