Chapter 10: Monsters Among Us
Leonardo, Po, Tigress, Donatello, Michelangelo, Viper, Crane, and Mantis floated through the black thunderous timestream with Renet leading the way as they dragged the chained up vampiric Raphael behind them.
Eventually, they made it through as Renet opened a time gateway in front of them, allowing them to fall down a large rooftop with a water tower on it.
As they each got up, they noted the tall skyscrapers in the distance along with all the other modern day things such as cars and the brownstone neighborhood. They were definitely back in New York.
"Mikey, check Raph. Make sure his chain is still secure." Leo ordered.
Mikey quickly went over to Raph, checking his kusarigama chain by giving it a few experimental tugs. "Alright, chain looks good. So's the garlic." He said.
"Yes, the garlic." Raph spoke, now getting an idea as he grinned evilly. "What does the smell remind you of, Mikey?"
Mikey paused as he closed his eyes and took a sniff, smelling the garlic. "Pizza." He murmured happily as he followed his nose towards the garlic. "Savory red sauce."
Raph grinned as it seemed like Mikey was going to take the garlic off of him and free him, but was thwarted as Donnie grabbed him by his coat and pulled him back.
"Trying to get to Mikey through his love of pizza? That's a low blow, Raph, even for a vampire." Donnie scolded him, to which Raph simply responded with a hiss.
Po then noticed something as he looked over the edge of the roof. "Hey, guys! Look! It's… us."
The others joined Po by the edge of the roof, looking down as they spotted themselves on the building across the street below them.
They watched as their past selves leapt into the air towards Savanti, only to get blasted back by his time bubble.
With no other options, Past Renet raised the Time Scepter and slammed it down, causing it herself and the past versions of the Ninja Turtles, Po, and the Furious Five to disappear from the spot.
"That was the beginning of our journey through time to stop Savanti from building his monster army." Renet explained before she winced. "Didn't really go so well."
"Yeah, you can say that again." Mantis remarked. "If anything, there's more monsters down there than when we left!"
Looking down into the streets, they could see dozens of monsters roaming the streets, ranging from vampires and werewolves to a whole manner of other ghouls and creatures of the night that walked the foggy streets.
"Dudes! Monsters are everywhere!" Mikey cried, pulling on the brims of his hat. "How are we gonna beat 'em all?!"
"You guys can't win." Raph spoke up, getting everyone's attention. "This world belongs to us monsters now. You'll all soon be extinct!" He then raised his head and cackled maniacally, his laughter sending chills down Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Mantis, and Renet's spines. "Savanti Romero and my master, Dracula, are gonna make turtle soup out of you fools!"
"Renet, you're from the future, you know the history of what happened. Give us something! Anything!" Tigress said, trying to let her determination mask her desperation.
"Um, no," Renet replied, "because Savanti is changing everything by the second."
Raph laughed. "And soon, you'll all be changed as well."
Before any of them could stop him, Raph threw back his head and let out a loud high-pitched screech into the air that echoed throughout the city before Po quickly slapped his cowboy hat over Raph's mouth.
But by then, it was already too late as the whole city had gone silent, the blood red moon shining through the foggy clouds and down on them like a searchlight.
Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Mantis, and Renet all assumed defensive positions with their weapons out as they formed a tight circle, readying themselves for what was to come.
There was a light breeze as the silence stretched out, at first it seemed like nothing was coming which almost got the group to relax.
But that feeling was quickly shattered as a swarm of bats flew up from the streets towards them, causing them to yelp as they jumped back.
"At least they're only bats!" Mikey said, trying to lighten the mood.
However, that was proven to be false as all of the bats from the swarm formed back into vampires that completely surrounded them.
"You were saying, Mikey?" Mantis remarked.
"There's too many!" Leo shouted, putting away his stake gun. "Move!"
Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Mantis, and Renet quickly began to run, all while dragging Raph with them.
Leo went first as he dove off the rooftop, only to almost run into a werewolf that snapped it's jaws at him. Leo yelped as he skidded to a stop and made a swift turn to the left.
The werewolf wouldn't get a chance to go after him as Tigress knocked him off the roof with a strong punch to the snout.
The group descended down the rooftops, jumping along a narrow ledge with the vampires and werewolves chasing after them.
Leo, Tigress, Donnie, and Viper leapt off the edge of the next roof, using the fire-escapes on the other side of the alley to get down more safely while Renet and Crane floated down, with Mantis on Crane's hat.
Po jumped down as well, but as soon as he gasped onto the fire-escape, it immediately gave away due to his weight. Po let out a scream as he began to fall, though Tigress was able to catch him just before he hit the ground.
Raph tried to stop himself at the edge of the roof, but Mikey pushed him over as he jumped down, landing on the fire-escape as he caught the chain holding Raph, causing the red clad turtle to swing into the wall.
Mikey hopped down from the fire escape, while Renet and Crane (along with Mantis who was on Crane's hat) floated down, rejoining Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, and Viper on the ground before they began to flee, dragging Raph with them.
The vampires and the werewolves quickly followed them out into the streets, but were surprised to find them all gone, with no trace in sight.
Confused, the vampires and the werewolves spread out as they looked around, splitting into several groups.
Two of the vampires split off from the rest of their group, wandering the foggy streets in search of the Turtles, Po, the Five, and Renet.
As they came around one of the street corners, one of them was wrapped up by a tight chain and silently pulled away before being staked through the heart.
Ears twitching, the second vampire turned to check on his partner, only for Leo to rush out from the fog, grab the vampire, and slam him into a nearby car before cutting off his head with one of his silver katanas.
Leo peaked out over the car hood, seeing that the coast was clear, gesturing for his brothers and friends to follow him.
Quickly, they rushed over to the nearest manhole in the middle of the street. But before they could open it, they heard the sounds of footsteps coming their way.
With great haste, the group hid behind a large truck as two vampires emerged on the street, searching for them.
Mikey had his hand clamped over Raph's mouth to keep him from giving away their location as they quietly shuffled away.
However, one of the vampires seemed to hear them as he dragged his claws along the side of the truck, emitting a loud skin-crawling screech as he rounded the other side of the truck, only to find nothing.
Up above, Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Mantis, and Renet had managed to sneak up onto the roof of the truck without the vampires noticing, with Mikey still covering Raph's mouth despite his muffled protests.
Leo watched as the vampire lost interest and began to scurry away. He let out a quiet sigh of relief as the danger seemed to have passed.
However, unbeknownst to him, one of the vampires climbed atop a streetlamp behind them, standing up and emitting a loud bat-like shriek that alerted all the other vampires in the area.
Viper quickly grabbed a stake from Donnie's belt and threw it at the vampire, nailing it in the chest and stopping it's howling. But by then it was too late as vampires began swarming the truck they were on.
Immediately, Leo pulled out his stake gun, firing and killing any vampires who dared to get close with it.
"Close your eyes!" Renet shouted, allowing Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, and Mantis to do just that as she held out the Time Scepter in front of her.
The Scepter let out a bright flash of light, leaving the vampires stunned and blinded while allowing the group to retreat.
"This way!" Renet exclaimed, leading the group towards a nearby sewer grate, which she managed to open with the Time Scepter.
Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, and Mantis quickly dove into the sewer grate while dragging Raph with them.
Renet was the last one in as she tossed the Time Scepter down before jumping in herself. As she was about to close the grate, one of the werewolves managed to spot them, sticking it's head under the grate and snapping it's jaws at the young Time Master In-Training.
However, Mikey quickly came to her rescue as he held his mini crossbow over Renet's shoulder and shot the werewolf in the snout, causing the werewolf to cry out and jump back.
Using the Time Scepter, Renet managed to seal the sewer grate. She leaned against the wall as she breathed a sigh of relief.
"I don't think that's gonna hold them for long." Crane said nervously.
"You guys are just delaying the inevitable!" Raph growled fiercely, which only earned a smack to the back of the head by Donnie.
"Still, it should give us enough time to think of a plan." Tigress pointed out.
"Excuse me, but explain to me how exactly we're gonna fix all of this." Mantis spoke up. "We've got bloadsuckers roaming the streets along with a bunch of wolves and we're down to just the nine of us! Let's face it, Savanti and Dracula have all the cards!"
Leo rubbed his chin before he grinned. "Except they don't." He said. "They may control the streets, but we control the sewers."
The blue clad turtle smirked as his eyes narrowed into white slits. "This is our element."
In the abandoned church that Savanti and his monsters had taken refuge in, the evil Time Master gazed out upon the haunted streets of New York City, taking in a breath as a swarm of bats flew by before letting it out.
"Soon, New York City will succumb entirely to me." Savanti said with a smirk. "Thanks to my plan, everyone in the future will be monsters. That includes the wretched Time Masters who mutated me as punishment. But now there will be no difference between me and everyone else." He gleefully rubbed his hands together. "Everyone will be a freak."
Savanti then heard the sound of footsteps above him, forcing him to look up and see Dracula with his back turned towards him on the arch above.
"Are you not in awe of my plan, Dracula? Hmm?" Savanti questioned.
"Petty revenge." Dracula merely scoffed. "I was there when Rome fell. I could feel change coming in the air. I feel it again now." He then turned back to Savanti as the evil Time Master floated up towards him. "Conquering them will be easy."
"But Renet and her wretched allies still might defeat us." Savanti pointed out. "I still don't know where to find their secret lair."
"But I do," Dracula countered, "for I know the thoughts of every vampire ever bitten." He then lightly clapped his hands.
At his signal, out from the shadows emerged three figures, two of which were the vampiric April O'neil and Casey Jones…
… and the last one being a newly vampirized Monkey.
"What is your bidding, Master?" The vampire April asked with a malicious grin.
"Yeah, whose blood do you want us to suck, yo?" Casey added eagerly.
"Find the hiding place of the turtle creatures and bring us the Scepter." Dracula ordered them. "And bring them to our side as well."
"Of course, Master. As you wish." The vampire Monkey grinned, displaying his newly grown fangs.
Once the group had arrived at the Lair, Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Crane, and Mantis immediately headed into the Lab while Mikey and Viper were tasked with guarding Raph.
"Hey, Renet, isn't there a way to fix all this with your Time Scepter thingy?" Po asked as he, Tigress, and Leo fashioned a few more garlic necklaces just in case.
"We could go back in time and try a do-over." Renet feebly suggested, fiddling with the keys on Donnie's computer. "Only that didn't work so well last time."
"Not to mention we wouldn't have Raph and Monkey with us." Crane added.
"Then we have to stop this here and now." Tigress stated firmly.
"Agreed." Donnie said as he came over with a small box containing the Kraang psychic neural transmitter. "And I think I might have an idea of how to do that."
"Focus on the research, guys." Mikey said as he and Viper, along with Ice Cream Kitty, sat in his room with several horror comics surrounding them.
"Mikey, no offense or anything, but are you sure this really counts as 'research'?" Viper questioned as she read another comic.
"Girl, I'm telling you, these comics are legit!" Mikey replied. "As far as I can tell, the lessons these old horror comics are teaching us is: slay the master. If we destroy Dracula, every vampire will return to normal."
"Well, you weren't wrong about the silver being able to cure vampires, so I guess that has to mean something." Viper reluctantly agreed while Ice Cream Kitty jotted down some notes.
Raph, meanwhile, was still chained up with the garlic around his neck keeping him from breaking free. He gritted his fangs as he struggled before he stopped, an idea popping into his head as he grinned evilly.
"Hey, Mikey, Viper, now that we're back in the Lair, I'm feeling much better." Raph said.
Both Mikey and Viper turned their attention away from the comics to glare at Raph. "Oh hush, you." Viper scoffed.
Raph smirked, they had fallen for it. Hook, line, and sinker!
Before Mikey or Viper could turn away, Raph hissed as his eyes glowed a bright silver with hypnosis.
Mikey and Viper both gasped as they locked onto his eyes, instantly hypnotized as they were frozen where they stood.
"Mikey… Viper… take this garlic off me. I'm better now." Raph spoke softly, grinning as his fangs were on full display.
Slowly, Mikey and Viper began to mindlessly walk/slither towards the bound vampire turtle, still staring into his eyes.
Ice Cream Kitty paused in her notes as she looked to see what was happening, and instantly threw away the notes and she mewled and yowled in a panic.
In the Lab, Donnie placed the Time Scepter in a clamp before hooking it up to the neural transmitter. "If I can focus the waveform, I can sync enough energy for a recharge." Donnie explained.
"You sure this will work, Donnie?" Leo asked.
"Positive." Donnie replied. "This should put her at fifty percent power."
Donnie then pressed the button to activate the transmitter, causing electricity to course through the antennas and into the Time Scepter, effectively giving it some power.
However, this also had the added effect of causing the lights in the whole Lair to flicker, which only added an aura of ambience throughout the formerly abandoned subway station…
… as well as a feeling of eeriness.
"Mikey… Viper… take this garlic off me." Raph whispered, his eyes still glowing hypnotically as the lights flickered in the room. "I'm better now."
Mikey and Viper, still hypnotized, continued to slowly move towards him. "Yes… take garlic off Raph." Both Mikey and Viper murmured in unison, all while Ice Cream Kitty tried desperately to snap them out of their trances.
But it was no use as Mikey and Viper both grasped the garlic and slowly peeled it off of Raph's neck before letting it drop to the floor.
With the garlic gone, Raph felt his strength return to him as he easily broke free of his chains, knocking both Mikey and Viper down.
"Rah! Nothing can stop us now!" Raph said victoriously.
He was about to head to the door when he paused, gazing down at the dazed Mikey and Viper as he grinned.
"But before I go…" Raph knelt down and gently picked up the still dazed Viper.
"... I'm feeling a little thirsty."
Raph then sank his fangs into Viper's neck.
Back in the lab, the lights continued to flicker as Donnie continued to power up the Time Scepter with the Kraang neural transmitter.
Tigress noticed out of the corner of her eye, Po was twitching slightly, seemingly nervous as the lights turned on and off again and again.
Gently, she placed her paw on Po's, causing to calm down slightly as he stopped twitching.
Suddenly, her ear flickered as she could've sworn she heard the doors to the lab creaking open. Tigress turned her head towards the lab doors, and was surprised to see lab doors open. Weren't they closed earlier?
The lights flickered again, and the room went dark for a few seconds.
But when the lights came back on, Tigress' amber eyes winded upon seeing Raph standing right behind Donnie, a fanged grin etched onto his face.
"Donnie!" Tigress yelled just as the lights went out again, pitching them in total darkness, though she could still see.
Before she could do anything, Raph grabbed Donnie and threw him across the table, smashing him into the others before grabbing the Time Scepter and making a bolt for the doors just as the lights came back on.
"The Scepter!" Leo shouted in alarm.
"After him!" Mantis said.
Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Crane, Mantis, and Renet quickly followed the vampire turtle as Raph burst through the doors of the lab and headed for the turnstiles at the entrance of the Lair.
The group was about to go after him, but quickly screeched to a halt as the entrance quickly became swarmed with vampires, along with the werewolf Vulko and Frankenstein's Monster, Frank.
"Greetings, old friends." April spoke up as she stepped in front of the crowd along with Casey and Monkey.
Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Crane, and Mantis gasped upon seeing Monkey with the other vampires, his eyes glowing pale blue and his fangs showing through a twisted grin.
"Monkey!" Po cried out to the vampiric simian.
"And now you shall become one of us." Monkey hissed.
"Wait, guys." Renet spoke up, getting the others' attention. "If Raph's free, then where's Mikey and Viper?"
As if to answer her question, the group suddenly heard a panicked high-pitched scream coming from Mikey's room.
"No, no! Stay away!" They heard Mikey cry before the orange clad turtle burst out from his room, running towards them. "Run away! AAH!"
And out from Mikey's room emerged none other than Viper, her eyes glowing the same pale blue as the other vampires as her fangs were on full display.
"Viper!" Tigress exclaimed in shock while the others gasped once more.
Viper turned to her former friends with a sinister grin on her face. "Oh, hey, guys." She said as she slowly slithered towards them. "My fangs finally grew in!" She eagerly showed off her vampiric fangs. "Wonder if they have the same potent venom my father did?" Her eyes narrowed as the vampire snake took a combative stance. "Why don't we find out?"
Viper then lunged at Tigress, the feline grabbing the serpent by her throat before she could bite her and throwing her away.
All hell then broke loose as the vampires swarmed the Lair like moths.
"This whole situation is ruining Halloween for me!" Mikey cried, dodging a vampire that dove at from above the pipes before shooting the vampire in the heart with his mini crossbow.
He took a few steps forward, only to run right into Vulko. The werewolf snarled at the orange clad turtle, causing Mikey to scream as he instinctively whipped out one of his nunchucks and smacking Vulko on the snout before turning away to run.
Vulko shook off the pain before lunging at Leo in the middle of the pit. The blue clad turtle grunted as he drew one of his silver katanas and swung it at Vulko, who caught it in his teeth.
"Guys, we gotta focus!" Leo shouted as he pulled his katana back and drew his other one as he ducked under a claw-swipe from Vulko before he slashed the werewolf across the chest. Vulko roared in pain as he felt the silver burning his skin, which only made him more enraged as he attacked Leo wildly and forced the blue clad turtle to defend himself with precise cuts and dodges.
"There's too many of them!" Po yelled as he stabbed one of the vampires with a stake before ducking under another one that lunged at him. The vampire then lunged at Po again, only for the panda to belly-gong him away. He then spun around and kicked a vampire in the gut before stabbing him in the chest with another stake.
Tigress continued to fight the Vampire Viper as she dodged a snap of her tail. Viper then leapt into the air, attempting to bring her tail down on Tigress, only for the feline to block her strike and punch her away. "Keep fighting!" She shouted, slashing at one of the vampires with a silver knife. "We can't give up now!"
Crane swung his wing, sending out a wave of stakes that nailed several vampires in the heart, several vampires then lunged at the bird, forcing him to fly into the air to avoid them. However, as he was in the air, the Vampire Monkey jumped up and grabbed his leg. "Hey!" Crane cried before he was dragged down and slammed onto the ground.
Monkey snapped his fangs at Crane, with the bird using his spindly legs to keep the vampiric simian at bay. "Sorry, buddy." Crane winced sympathetically before he kicked Monkey off of him, sending the simian flying into the pool.
Mantis grabbed one of the mini stakes fired from Mikey's wristbow, using it as a makeshift weapon while he stabbed and smacked around as many vampires as he could. "They just keep coming!" He yelled.
Renet fired several darts from her wrist launcher at the vampires before switching to her energy knuckles to beat down any nosferatu that came too close.
Donnie smacked one of the vampires away with his staff, twirling it around before whipping out the hidden naginata blade, and stabbing another. He then held up the protective seal end of the staff out at the Vampire Casey as it shined brightly, causing Casey to hiss and back away.
As Donnie continued to use the seal on the vampires, Frank suddenly stepped in, smacking both Donnie and Renet away with a roar.
"Frank, not you too!" Mikey cried upon seeing his giant monster friend.
"Frank, has no choice." Frank said sadly before his expression turned aggressive. "Frank must obey Dracula!" He roared as he raised his fists and brought them down, forcing Mikey to dodge out of the way.
Mikey jumped out of the way as Frank attempted to smash him again, smacking the television away before Leo jumped in and started slashing at Frank with his katanas, forcing Frankenstein's Monster back.
"Time for another tactical retreat!" Donnie called out.
Suddenly, April dove in from behind, grabbing the purple clad turtle by his shoulders. "Your mine, Donnie!" April exclaimed, pulling his coat aside slightly.
Donnie gasped as he realized too late what was happening, letting out a scream of agony as April sank her fangs into Donnie's neck.
"DONNIE!" Leo yelled while Po, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet all gasped in horror.
"No!" Donnie cried, holding the bite mark on his neck as he stumbled about, his shoulder throbbing painful as he began to grow dizzy. "Stay back!" He then gasped as he looked down at the mystic seal on his staff, suddenly feeling repulsed by it.
Donnie let out one last groan before he collapsed to the ground, dropping his staff.
Casey, along with Monkey, chuckled as they both approached the infected purple clad turtle, that was until Mikey dove in and picked up Donnie's staff, using the seal on it to ward them off. "Get back, evil Casey! You too, evil Monkey! I'm for real!" He shouted.
"Finally, the Turtles and their allies are outmatched." April stated victoriously. "It'll all be over soon."
As the battle in the Lair continued on, Leo, Po, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet quickly realized that they were getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of vampires that seemed to be endless.
Leo decapitated one vampire and stabbed another before Frank suddenly grabbed his shoulders and began to squeeze him with the intent of crushing him. "Okay, easy, big fella. Easy." He then kick-flipped himself out of Frank's grip before rolling between his legs.
"You know what happens when you mess with Junior Assistant Time Masters?!" Renet yelled as she socked a vampire in the fangs with her energy knuckles before punching the lights out of another.
From above, on the wooden stairwell, Mikey couldn't help but watch Renet with a lovestruck look. "Everything about her is the coolest thing ever." He said dreamily.
However, he was interrupted when Casey appeared next to him, hanging upside down and with his fangs bared. Mikey yelped as he shoved a piece of garlic into Casey's mouth, losing his balance as he fell into the pit.
"Guys… follow me." Donnie said weakly, standing by the doors to his lab.
Po, Tigress, Mikey, Renet, Crane, and Mantis quickly rushed into the lab just as Casey fell from the wooden stairway above, Leo quickly trampling him as he sprinted into the lab too.
"Get the doors!" Mantis yelled.
Donnie and Mikey grabbed the doors and attempted to close them, but a swarm of vampires rushed towards the doors and managed to get in between, keeping the doors open.
"They're too strong!" Mikey cried as he and Donnie struggled to close the doors to no avail.
Po's eyes narrowed as he turned to Tigress. "Sorry, Tigress." He said simply.
Tigress turned to her panda, confused. "Po, what-?" She was about to ask, but was cut off as Po suddenly kissed her on the lips, leaving her stunned.
"See you on the other side." Po said with a sad smile before he rushed over to the doors, slamming into the vampires and knocking them back out into the living room.
Leo, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet's eyes all widened in horror. "Po, what are you doing?!" Tigress questioned in shock.
Po punched another vampire away before stabbing the other. "Just go!" He shouted. "I'll hold them off!"
"Dude, we're not leaving you!" Mikey cried.
"Hey, don't worry about me." Po said, a smile still on his face. "I'm the Dragon Warrior." He then kicked another vampire away before he was grabbed by Frank.
"PO, NO!" Tigress screamed, tears filling her eyes as Viper slithered onto his shoulder and sank her fangs into his neck.
But Po didn't seem to be in any pain. Instead he still smiled, almost as if in acceptance as continued to distract the monsters.
Tigress was about to run back out there and help her love, but Leo quickly grabbed her. "Tigress, we've gotta go!"
"Let me go!" Tigress shouted, tears pouring down her cheeks.
"We'll get Po back, I promise." Leo said softly, his azure eyes locking with Tigress' amber ones. "But we can't do that unless we go now."
Tigress was silent for a moment before she simply nodded and wiped her tears away with the back of her paw as Donnie quickly slammed the doors to the lab shut, locking them.
"Quick! This way!" Donnie yelled as he led the others out the garage door and into the subway tunnels just as Frank broke down the doors and the monsters gave chase.
Leo, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet ran along the tracks of the tunnels as fast as they could before they heard the sound of a horn coming from far in front of them, along with a couple of bright lights coming down the tracks towards them.
Mikey yelped as he noticed the train was approaching him rapidly, about to turn him into street pizza before Renet grabbed him by the sleeve and yanked him aside as they, along with Leo, Tigress, Donnie, Crane, and Mantis rushed down a flight of stairs of to the side.
Donnie stopped near the bottom of the stairs, groaning as he placed his hand on where April bit him, trying as hard as he could to resist the transformation.
As the group reached the bottom of the stairs, they spotted a double steel door just ahead of them.
Knowing they would need shelter from the monsters chasing them, Leo Tigress, Mikey, Crane, and Mantis went up to the door while Renet helped Donnie stand.
Carefully checking the doors, Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, and Mantis went up against the door and forced it open.
The room was dark as they closed the doors behind them, leaving them in almost total blackness. Tigress, however, was still able to see even in the dark as she spotted a light switch on the wall.
Pulling it down, the lights in the room flickered on brightly. And as the lights turned on, the group realized that this wasn't a room, it was a huge subhall filled with dozens of bed strollers and the walls being lined with shelves that were stacked with medical supplies.
"Whoa! An old hospital?" Donnie exclaimed weakly, recognizing what this place was.
"You mean a nightmare hospital." Leo said grimly, noticing several human skulls and severed limbs on the shelves, along with several surgery tools such as syringes, scalpels, pliers, and scissors, "The kind of place that used leeches instead of bandages."
Mikey and Renet quickly got to work barricading the doors with a steel shelf. "That iron door should hold 'em. No problemo!" Mikey said, twirling Donnie's staff in his hand. "The thing about evil vampires, they hate iron."
"And how could you possibly know that?" Crane questioned.
"Dude, I read it in 'Vampire Hunter X' issue six, bruh." Mikey explained, or somewhat boasted. "I might be a master researcher. Just sayin'."
Donnie then stumbled towards, holding the bite mark on his neck as he let out a scream of pain. "Guys! I'm-I'm losing myself!" Donnie warned them.
Carefully, Leo and Renet guided Donnie to one of the bed strollers, holding him down as Donnie continued to scream and convulse in pain while Mikey kept the seal over the purple clad turtle.
"Does your comic say how to stop a vampire transformation, Mikey?!" Leo asked desperately as Tigress and Crane went over to help him and Renet hold Donnie down.
"Uh, not sure." Mikey said nervously. "I never scored issue seven."
Back at the abandoned church Savanti and his monsters had taken refuge, the evil Time Master was growing impatient as he stormed down towards Dracula, who was staring out into the foggy streets below.
"I tire of waiting!" Savanti growled. "We must send a horde after that wretched Renet and her allies. What if they recharge the Time Scepter?"
Dracula slowly turned to him, an impassive look on his face. "Patience, Savanti." He said calmly. "There are bigger things at play."
As he finished his sentence, the Vampire Raph dropped down from the ceiling with a grin on his face.
"Master, I brought this for you." Raph said, holding out a certain scepter. "The Time Scepter."
Savanti laughed in both triumph and relief. "Excellent, my servant." He said. "Now I will be unstopp-"
He paused mid-sentence when Raph handed the Time Scepter to Dracula and not him.
"What!?" Savanti questioned.
"Well done, Raphael." Dracula congratulated the red clad turtle, taking the Time Scepter.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Savanti demanded angrily.
"You are such a dim-witted zounderkite, Savanti." Dracula scoffed, revealing his true intentions. "Armed with this, I will go back in time to infect early humanity with vampirism so that the entire world will be undead." He then raised the Scepter as a swarm of bats flew around him. "Finally, I will rule the world in darkness!"
Only nothing happened as complete silence filled the room.
Dracula raised a brow as he looked at the Scepter confusedly. "It's not working." He realized. "Why isn't it working?" He slammed the Scepter on the ground a few times, trying to get it to work while Savanti laughed mockingly at him.
"Who's the fool now, Dracula?" Savanti remarked.
Dracula snarled at this embarrassment as he turned his fury onto the evil Time Master. "Show me how it works! Or I will rend you to pieces!" He threatened.
"How it works is simple. You need me!" Savanti retorted. "That technology is far beyond your tiny bat brain. But now I know where your allegiance truly lies. Pharaoh? If you please."
On his command, the Pharaoh walked down the stairs challengingly towards Dracula, bashing his fists together.
"You pit a mindless mummy against the King of the Vampires?" Dracula scoffed. "Insulting!"
Dracula then thrusted the end of the Time Scepter into the Pharaoh's gut, causing the mummy to explode into a pile of dust, dirt, and wrappings.
Savanti's jaw dropped as he had just witnessed the permanent demise of one of his most powerful monsters.
"Any more brilliant ideas?" Dracula questioned, turning to Savanti with narrowed eyes.
Back in the derelict underground hospital, Leo, Renet, Tigress, and Crane kept Donnie pinned down to the bed, although it was becoming more and more difficult as Donnie's struggles and screaming only got worse.
"We have to try and stop his transformation!" Renet exclaimed
"Yeah, no duh." Mantis remarked. "We also gotta stop Savanti, and Dracula, and get the Time Scepter away from Raph and change our friends back all before the world ends!"
Tigress grunted as she held down Donnie's arm. "Leo, do you think your healing mantra can stop his transformation?" She asked.
"Worth a try." Leo replied as Donnie let out one final scream before seemingly passing out. "Keep him steady."
Leo stepped back and took in a deep breath as he readied himself to perform the Healing Hands.
But before he could, the doors began to rustle, followed by the sounds of loud banging and the yells of Frankenstein's Monster.
Leo's eyelids lowered as he sighed in irritation. "Great. Vampires hate iron, but Frankenstein's are fine with–Ugh!" He said, being cut off as Donnie arm shot up, socking him across the face and making him stumble back.
"Oh no," Mikey whimpered as he, Tigress, Crane, Mantis, and Renet all backed away, "Donnie!"
The newly vampiric Donnie rose from the bed, letting out a loud hiss as he showed his fangs before stepping off the bed and throwing it at them with his newfound supernatural strength.
Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet jumped back as they began to flee while Donnie continued to fling more and more bed strollers at them like they were nothing.
As they continued to run, Leo pulled out a knife from his coat and threw it at the shaft button at the end of the room.
"Through here!" Leo yelled, sliding under the closing shaft door while Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet quickly followed through as well, the door closing just as Donnie lunged at them.
The door closed shut, allowing the group to get away while Donnie was locked out just as Frank, along with April, Casey, Monkey, Viper, and Vulko burst into the room.
And all they saw was Donnie as he turned towards them, grinning as he showed them his pale blue glowing eyes along with his fangs, indicating that he was one of them.
"Donnie," April purred as she approached the vampiric purple clad turtle, "so glad you could join us."
Donnie hopped down from the shaft and stalked towards her, stopping just an inch away from her. "You did this to me." He said, not in an accusation, but merely a statement of fact.
April grinned wider. "You're mine now." She said, as she roughly grabbed him his coat and pulled him into a kiss.
Donnie didn't complain or push away, instead embracing her and kissing back while the others watched.
"Aww, isn't that sweet?" The Vampire Viper cooed in a slightly mocking way. "But maybe we should save that for later. After all, we have business to take care of."
April and Donnie broke apart. "You're right." April agreed. "We should get moving."
"If we move quickly, we can cut them off when they get to the surface." Donnie pointed out.
"Then let's move quickly." Monkey stated as he and the other vampires were about to move out.
"I would like to join you."
The vampiric Donnie, Viper, Monkey, April, and Casey all stopped as they noticed a certain vampirized panda standing outside the room.
"After all, we're all feeling pretty thirsty, aren't we?"
The streets above were quiet as the group quickly made their way through the sewer tunnels before coming to a manhole cover.
Leo went first as he gently lifted the cover, peeking out to see if there were any monsters around, but supposedly found nothing. "Coast is clear." He reported. "Come on."
Leo tossed the manhole cover open as he stepped out, followed by Tigress, and then Mikey, and then Crane (while Mantis sat on his hat), and finally Renet.
However, before they could take more than two steps forward, a large shadow fell in front of them, blocking them off.
Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet gasped as they backed away slightly, only to find themselves being swarmed by dozens of vampires and werewolves.
"Po…" Tigress murmured in shock as she recognized the figure in front of them.
"Going somewhere?" Po smirked, his eyes glowing a pale blue as he gave them a toothy grin that showed off his fangs. From behind him, Raph, Viper, Monkey, April, and Casey emerged from the fog as well.
From above on the rooftops, Savanti and Dracula stood above them with the Time Scepter in their hands.
"We are on the cusp of a new era where Dracula and I rule all of time, space, and the ten dimensions, together!" Savanti announced.
"Is that possible?" Mantis questioned turning to Renet.
"Not only possible," Renet stated grimly, "it's totally probable."
"And you will not be able to stop us." Savanti smirked as he and Dracula floated down onto the street. "'Why?' you ask?"
"Uh, no, we didn't ask. No-one really asked." Crane shook his head, much to Savanti's ire.
"Because we will destroy you now." Dracula declared before he pointed the Time Scepter at them. "Monsters, destroy these animals and the girl."
Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet all formed a circle, standing back to back as the monsters slowly began to close in on them.
Frank stepped out from the rest of the monsters, roaring as the machinery on his back sparked with electricity.
"Stay back, Frankenstein!" Leo shouted, aiming his stake gun at the artificial monster.
Mikey, however, had an idea as he lightly pushed Leo's gun down. "No. There's another way." He told his oldest brother before turning to the monster. "Frank, buddy, we're bros. Remember?" He said, trying to appeal to him. "They're the enemies!"
This actually seemed to get through to Frank as his expression softened before he felt a sudden pain in his mind, forcing him to clutch his head.
"You will do my bidding, monster." Dracula stated, his eyes glowing hypnotically silver.
"Dracula is the worst! Does he even know your favorite food?" Mikey said to Frank passionately. "'Cause I'm your real friend, and I know your favorite food is… uh, frankfurters!"
Frank's eyes snapped open as all of that sank in, the pain no longer in his head as he stood up straight.
"Destroy them, creature!" Dracula commanded.
Frank whirled around to glare at the count. "No!" He yelled. "Mikey is real friend! You are not!" He roared as he charged forward through the crowd of vampires, easily swatting away Po, Raph, Viper, Monkey, April, and Casey before attempting to smash both Savanti and Dracula.
Savanti and Dracula quickly took to the air while a werewolf and several vampires attempted to tackle Frank, forcing Frankenstein's Monster to fight them off.
Leo shot a few vampires with his stake gun before jumping over a werewolf that lunged at him, landing on it's shoulders and riding it around like a bull while firing upon several more vampires while cutting others down with his silver-laced katana.
Tigress ducked down as one of the vampires lunged at her before stabbing that same vampire with a silver knife. As the vampire died, she yanked the knife out and spun around to kick another vampire away. One of the werewolves attempted to tackle her, but the feline grasped the werewolf's paws on her own, kicking it over and throwing it into several vampires.
Crane swatted one vampire away with his wing before smacking another vampire with the other. Two more vampires then lunged at him, forcing Crane to grab them by his feet and spin them around like a tornado.
"Can't believe that actually worked!" Mantis said as he grabbed a werewolf by the nostrils and flipped it over him.
"Yeah, that was totally tubular!" Renet added as she and Mikey stood back to back, with her shooting the vampires with her dart launcher and him holding them off with the mystic seal on Donnie's staff. "What comic book did you learn that strategy from?"
"Uh, 'Mikey Makes The Whole Thing Up And Gets Lucky' issue number one!" Mikey bashful admitted before shooting a vampire with his wrist mounted mini crossbow.
Frank grabbed two werewolves with a roar, throwing one away before smashing the other one into Raph and Viper before he was tackled by Po.
"Is it possible to use the Time Scepter to get rid of our enemies?" Dracula asked.
"What do you think?" Savanti replied sarcastically.
The two then grasped the Time Scepter together as they floated high above.
"The time is nigh!" Dracula announced grandly. "For the utter destruction of–oof!"
He was cut off as a ball of garlic hit him in the face, actually managing to hurt him.
Dracula hissed as he whirled around to see who did it, spotting Mikey hanging from a nearby fire escape while holding several garlic balls in his hand.
"No one assaults the immortal Dracula with–Aah!" Dracula yelled before Mikey used Donnie's staff to whack more garlic balls at Dracula like a baseball bat. The garlic balls hit Dracula in the head, causing the Lord of the Vampires to fall to the ground in pain.
Savanti quickly took the Time Scepter and aimed it at Mikey, about to blast him with it before Leo used his grappling gun to knock the Scepter out of his hands.
Time seemed to slow down as the Time Scepter twirled in the air.
"I got it!" Crane yelled, immediately taking to the air as he zoomed towards the Time Scepter.
"No, I got it!" Mikey shouted, leaping off the fire-escape as he reached out for the Scepter.
Crane just managed to grab the Time Scepter when Mikey slammed into him and accidentally hit the hourglass piece of the Scepter with the mystic seal.
As soon as the seal touched the hourglass, the Time Scepter began to glow before it emitted a bright flash that was almost blinding as it engulfed Mikey, Crane, Savanti, Dracula, Renet, Leo, Tigress, Mantis, Po, Raph, Donnie, Viper, Monkey, and Frank.
Next thing they knew, they were tumbling through the timestream, cosmic lightning crashing through the gray clouds all around them as they floated through the seemingly endless abyss.
"I don't got it!" Mikey cried as he and Crane lost their grip on the Scepter.
"MIKEY!" Leo, Tigress, Crane, Mantis, and even Renet yelled in frustration.
It was night time in the forests of England as a group of armored knights trailed on horseback for their evening patrol.
For the longest time it seemed quiet as evening air was cool and the sound of chirping crickets was in the breeze as it blew by.
Suddenly, a large time gateway opened up in the sky above the knights, the Time Scepter falling out and hitting the lead knight in the head before Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, Renet, and Frank, along with Savanti, Dracula, Po, Raph, Viper, and Monkey, fell out as well.
Immediately the battle resumed, becoming an all-out brawl in the middle of forest as both sides fought for the claim of the Time Scepter.
Donnie hissed as he tackled Mikey to the ground, the orange clad turtle using his smart brother's staff to block the purple clad turtle's fangs.
"Oh, medieval knights!" Mikey exclaimed, spotting the party of knights. "Majestic heroes of bravery! They'll help us, dudes!"
The knights however, instead of helping, screamed and proceeded to run in the complete opposite direction. "Monsters!" One of the knights cried while the others screamed as they rode away.
"So much for 'majestic heroes of bravery'." Mantis rolled his eyes before he dodged a bite from Viper.
"Get the Scepter!" Leo yelled before everyone made a mad dash for it.
Tigress tackled Po and pinned him to the ground, only to be passed by Viper as she slithered by.
Viper was then pinned to the ground by Crane, only for the bird to get kicked in the head by Donnie.
Mikey threw his kusarigama chain, wrapping it around Donnie and pulling him back before Savanti passed him.
Savanti outstretched his hand as he got closer to the Scepter, only for Renet to jump onto him and tackle him to the ground.
Leo sprinted towards the Scepter with his upper torso lowered and his arms outback before Raph tried to shove him away. But before he could get in front, Leo quickly tackled him, causing them to tumble across the ground before landing just inches away from the Scepter.
Raph kept Leo pinned down while Leo kept his hand under Raph's chin to keep him from biting him, both of them straining to reach the Scepter.
Frank then suddenly walked up and picked the Time Scepter up from the ground. "Frank will master time travel!" He declared, before he accidentally squeezed the hourglass piece of the Time Scepter too tightly, causing it to crack.
The Time Scepter went on the fritz again as it shined brightly before randomly teleporting everyone into the timestream, sending them once more tumbling through the cosmic storms.
"Frank break everything!" Frank cried guiltily.
The time gateway opened up again, causing everyone to fall out in what appeared to be a large Japanese garden.
Looking around, Leo silently gasped as he recognized this place as the old Hamato Clan Dojo, spotting the banner bearing the symbol of the clan hanging from the roof.
Several Hamato Clan Ninjas were also in the garden as they immediately halted their practice and sparing to stare at the strangers who arrived on their grounds from seemingly out of nowhere.
Leo looked up and silently gasped upon seeing the Time Scepter hanging from the roof of the Dojo. But before he could make a move to go get it, Monkey suddenly grabbed him from behind and dragged him back against a nearby tree while trying to bite him, saliva dripping from his fangs.
"Gross!" Leo exclaimed as he grabbed Monkey's jaw to keep himself from being bitten. "Feel free to help out any time, guys!" He called out to the Hamato Clan Ninjas.
However, instead of jumping in to help them, the Hamato Clan Ninja simply turned the other way and bounded off out of sight.
"Seriously?!" Leo questioned in frustrated disbelief as he kicked Monkey off of him.
Raph quickly sweeped Frank's feet out from under him before pouncing on him in an attempt to beat him down, only for Renet to come in and punch him off.
Tigress punched Savanti in the gut, causing him to keel over, before she grabbed his arm and flipped him over her shoulder, pinning him to the ground by her foot. Savanti quickly kicked Tigress' feet out from under her as he got up, only for the feline to land on her paws and use them to rebound herself into kicking Savanti in the chest.
Crane blocked Viper's tail with his wing before she lunged at the bird with her fangs bared, forcing Crane to take to the air to avoid being bitten. Spotting the Time Scepter on the roof, Crane swooped down towards it, only to be punched away by Savanti.
Savanti reached out to grab the Scepter, only to draw his arm back as Renet shot several darts at him with her wrist launcher.
Renet was about to shoot more darts when Dracula swooped in towards her as a swarm of bats, throwing off her aim as she shot another dart, causing it to hit the Scepter and fall off the roof.
Raph quickly grabbed the Scepter before it could fall to the ground. "This is-" He was about to declare before Mikey leapt up and kicked him in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground along with the Time Scepter.
Donnie flipped over Leo as he dodged a swing from his katanas, a fanged grin on his face as he rushed to get the Time Scepter, only for it to glow and flash as soon as he touched it.
Once again, they were all back floating through the cosmic time storms as they continued to battle for the Time Scepter.
Shifu paced worriedly in the courtyard of the Jade Palace. It had been days since he had heard from the Dragon Warrior and the Furious Five, and he was now on the verge of beginning to panic.
After he had gotten back from his trip, he was surprised to find Po and the Five mysteriously gone from the Palace grounds.
At first, he had thought nothing of it, thinking that they were all most likely dealing with some bandits or doing something proactive down in the Valley. But when the hours turned to days and they still didn't come back, that's when he started to get worried.
Soon enough, he had sent letters to almost every master in China, telling them to keep an eye out for his missing students.
It also didn't help that Po and the Five's families were worried as well, with the Great Master Viper feeling terrified for the safety of his daughter, Crane's mother on the verge of having a panic attack after hearing the news of her missing son, and even Shifu himself was worried about his adopted daughter Tigress.
But by far, Mr. Ping and Li Shan were the worst out of all of them as they had come by the Palace several times, begging for any news about Po and his friends' whereabouts.
"Oh, Oogway." Shifu muttered solemnly. "How I wish you were here to help me with this."
As he headed back up the steps towards the Hall of Heroes, his ears flickered as he heard a strange humming sound in the air.
Turning around, the red panda was surprised to see a wide white gateway open up in the sky above the courtyard.
Seconds later, several figures fell out through the gateway and landed in the courtyard.
Shifu couldn't help but gape at what just happened as the figures immediately engaged in battle. And as he looked closer, his eyes widened upon recognizing several of the figures.
"Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, Turtles?!" He exclaimed. "What is going on here?!"
From the midst of the battle, Tigress looked up the steps, spotting her adopted father. "Shifu!" She cried before she was grabbed from behind by Raph and yanked back into the battle.
Shifu looked like he was about to intervene when the Time Scepter suddenly went on the fritz again as it began to glow and sparkle before it flashed brightly.
And when the brightness dimmed down, Shifu was stunned to see all of them gone as if they had never been there in the first place.
The sun was setting over the horizon in the city of Ba Sing Se while in the tea-shop, the Jasmine Dragon, where the Ninja Turtles of the 2003 dimension, along with Avatar Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Suki, Azula, Mai, Ty-Lee, 03 Karai, 03 April, 03 Casey, 03 Splinter, Iroh, Momo, and Appa were still celebrating from the recent defeat of the Tengu Shredder.
While they were in the middle of celebrating, a large time gateway suddenly opened up in the middle of the tea-shop, much to everyone's shock and astonishment, which was only furthered as Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, Renet, Frank, along with Savanti, Dracula, and the vampiric Po, Raph, Donnie, Viper, and Monkey fell out of the portal, landing in the middle of the tea-shop.
The 03 Turtles, the Gaang, Azula, Mai, Ty-Lee, 03 Karai, 03 April, 03 Casey, Iroh, and 03 Splinter stared at the group with wide eyes and mouths hanging open while 2012 Leo, Tigress, 2012 Mikey, Crane, Mantis, Renet, Frank, and even Savanti, Dracula, Po, 2012 Raph, 2012 Donnie, Viper, and Monkey halted what they were doing as they stared back in surprise.
"Woah!" Aang exclaimed in surprise. "Where'd you guys come from?!"
"Wait… THERE'S MORE TURTLES?!" Sokka shrieked comically upon noticing the 2012 Turtles before he turned to 2003 Turtles. "First you guys, then the Dark Turtles, just how many turtles are there?!"
"Well… this is awkward." 2012 Mikey remarked awkwardly as the two groups stared at each other in complete stunned silence.
"I don't suppose any of you fellas want any tea?" Iroh asked, holding up a small cup.
Before the 2012 Turtles, Po, the Five, Renet, Frank, Savanti, and Dracula could even reply, the Time Scepter suddenly began to glow and spark before it flashed out again and caused them to vanish, leaving 03 Leo, Aang, Katara, 03 Raph, 03 Donnie, 03 Mikey, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Suki, Azula, Mai, Ty-Lee, 03 Karai, 03 April, 03 Casey, Iroh, and 03 Splinter completely baffled by what they had just seen.
"Okay…" 03 Mikey remarked after a long silence. "So, that happened."
Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet, along with Savanti, Dracula, Po, Raph, Donnie, Viper, and Monkey, soon emerged from the Timestream again as they landed on hot but soft sand.
Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet raised their heads from the sand as they spotted the Sphinx along the pyramids in the distance, instantly recognizing that they were back in ancient Egypt.
Just then, the Time Scepter came out of the gateway as well, landing in the sand with the end of it sticking out.
Gasping, Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, Mantis, and Renet all scrambled to get to the Time Scepter first, only for Savanti to quickly grab it and pull it out of the ground before they could reach it.
"Yes!" Savanti smirked in victory, raising the Scepter above his head. "Back right where I-" Suddenly, the Time Scepter flashed again in a blinding light, forcing everyone to cover their eyes lest they go blind.
When the light dimmed down, Savanti's smile faded as he looked around, instantly recognizing the landscape with dread.
The terrain itself was rough and thick with several trees, there was no grass anywhere to be found, only ferns and rivers of water as far as the eye could see, as well as several herds of dinosaurs.
"Oh, not here." Savanti groaned. "Even ancient Egypt is better than the Prehistoric Age!"
Leo fired his crossbow gun at Savanti, the evil Time Master using his gauntlet bubble shield to protect himself as he began to fix the Scepter.
"Don't let him repair the Scepter!" Renet exclaimed as Dracula flew in as a swarm of bats, with her firing several darts at the bats. "Then he'll be in complete control over all of space and time!"
"Well then how do we stop him?!" Mantis questioned as he grabbed Monkey by the finger and threw him around.
"Guys, wait! We're focusing on the wrong thing!" Mikey yelled as he used the mystic seal on Donnie's staff to ward away the swarm of bats. "Didn't 'Vampire Hunter X' teach us anything? We take out the master, we free all the monsters!"
"Are you sure that'll work, Mikey?" Crane asked as he kicked Viper away as she attempted to bite him.
"Positive!" Mikey replied before twirling the staff with the end facing up. "Tigress! Stake me up!"
Tigres grabbed Po as he attempted to bite her and flipped him over her shoulder. "On it!" She nodded, pulling out a wooden stake from her coat and fastening it to the end of the staff with some wraps.
Savanti, meanwhile, was attempting to repair the cracked hourglass on the Time Scepter when Dracula suddenly grabbed the Scepter.
"We declared we would share this!" Dracula stated, thinking the evil Time Master was attempting to betray him.
Savanti yanked the Scepter away. "There's nothing to share if it doesn't work!" He retorted.
"Fine! You fix the Scepter!" Dracula huffed. "I will take care of the girl and her servants." He then took off into the air and left Savanti to do his work.
Seeing the Vampire Lord swooping down towards them, Leo immediately turned his stake gun on him as he fired rapidly at him, with Dracula avoiding every shot before Raph jumped down from a nearby tree and kicked Leo away.
Meanwhile, Frank was currently wrestling with Donnie, now managing to get the upper hand over the vampiric purple clad turtle as he held him in an arm-lock.
It was then that Dracula swooped in over him, almost blotting out the sun before he swooped down towards Frank.
But before he could get close…
"BOOYAKASHA!" Mikey yelled as he leaped over Frank and flung Donnie's staff with the stake attached to it like a spear at Dracula.
Dracula had no time to react as the staff instantly impaled him through the heart, causing him to gasp in shock as he came down to the ground.
Everyone in the battle stopped to stare at the impaled King of the Vampires, his body beginning to smoke he jerked his head up. "NO!" Dracula exclaimed while the vampiric Po, Raph, Donnie, Viper, and Monkey screamed and hissed in pain as they held their heads, feeling their master's pain.
Almost instantly, Dracula's body began to decompose as he eyes shrunk down to nothingness and his skin and muscles melting away until he was nothing but bones, much to Leo, Tigress, Mikey, Crane, and Mantis' horror as they gasped.
All of a sudden, Po, Raph, Donnie, Viper, and Monkey's fangs slowly began to retract while their eyes returned to normal as they collapsed to the ground, with Leo catching Raph, Tigress catching Po, Frank still holding Donnie, Crane catching Viper, and Mikey catching Monkey.
Dracula's skeleton stood there for several seconds before it collapsed into a pile of bones along with his clothes and Donnie's staff.
Savanti then stomped on the stake piece attached to Donnie's staff, shattering it. "Oh, well. He was a jerk." He smirked with no remorse at all. "But it's too late, fools. The Time Scepter is fixed. Now I, Savanti Romero, will rule all of time and-"
Savanti then suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, causing him to turn around. "What?" He questioned before he was met with Renet's fist to his face, knocking him to the ground as he lost his grip on the Scepter.
"Enjoy your stay, Savanti!" Renet said as she caught the Time Scepter, using it to open a time gateway.
Leo, Tigress, Crane, Mantis, and Frank went through the gateway while carrying Po, Raph, Donnie, Viper, and Monkey with them, vanishing through the portal almost instantly.
Mikey was next as he stopped by Renet's side, handing her the emergency back-up time jumper that Savanti had stolen from her before going through the time gateway, sending Renet a smile before he went through.
"We'll check up on you in another thirty years or so." Renet smirked before she entered the portal herself.
"NOOO!" Savanti cried as he lunged for the time gateway, only for it to close before he could go through it, leaving him stranded once more.
Savanti sat up on his knees as his last chance at freedom and revenge had slipped through his fingers. Things just couldn't get any worse for him.
Or so it seemed as Savanti felt a large shadow loom over him followed by thunderous footsteps, causing him to look up at the creature above him.
"Oh grok." Savanti grumbled.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex roared as it lunged down to eat Savanti.
Back in present day New York, April growled as she felt a sudden pain in her head as her fangs retracted before she squeezed her eyes shut and opened them again, with them back to their regular sparkling blue.
She then heard the sounds of groaning, causing her to see Casey and Vulko convulsing in pain before reverting back to their normal human selves.
Before April could question what was going on, a time gateway suddenly opened up above her, Casey, and Vulko.
And out from the portal, Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis screamed as they fell out, landing on Casey and squashing him in a big pile of limbs.
"Oops!" Renet said sheepishly as she and Frank emerged from the portal.
"Leo! Po! Tigress! Donnie! Mikey! Guys!" Raph exclaimed joyfully as he and the others sat up, now back to his regular old self. "We're back! And we're not freaky vampires anymore! Yes!"
"Whoo-hoo! We're back!" Po cheered, pumping both fists up before he was suddenly tackled by Tigress in a loving kiss.
Surprised, Po gladly kissed her back as he wrapped his arms around Tigress' waist. When they pulled apart, however, Tigress suddenly slapped him hard across the face. "OW!" Po cried, holding his stinging cheek. "What was that for?!"
"That was for scaring me, you dumb panda." Tigress said, jabbing her finger into his chest. She then breathed a sigh of relief before she smiled. "I'm just glad you're back, Po."
Po smiled back as he and Tigress hugged. "It's good to be back, Ti."
"Oh, my head." Viper groaned, rubbing her temples with her tail. "Why does turning back from being a vampire have to hurt so bad?"
"Just be glad you are back." Crane said. "After all, it was Mikey who really saved the day." He, Leo, Tigress, and Mantis smiled at the orange clad turtle.
Mikey smiled bashfully as he scratched the back of his neck. "Aww, c'mon, guys. It was nothing!"
"Hey, you saved us all from becoming permanent blood-sucking monsters, man." Monkey said, wrapping his arm around Mikey's shoulder with a grin. "I don't think that's nothing."
"Yeah, dude, you pretty much saved the world! How many times can you say that? Well, okay, maybe a lot of times, but still, you're awesome, man!" Po said, giving Mikey a noogie, causing the party turtle to laugh.
"So, uh, who is this?" April asked as Renet and Frank floated down towards them on the rooftop.
Leo smiled. "This is Renet." He introduced the young junior assistant Time Master. "The greatest Time Master who ever lived."
Renet looked surprised before she smiled at Leo's praise.
"Did that actually happen?" Casey questioned, still reeling a bit in disbelief. "Were we like, an army of awesome monsters?"
"Oh, you bet you were." Mantis laughed, hopping onto Casey's shoulder.
"Indeed, it was no dream." Vulko stated solemnly as he stood off to the side. "And now I am forever trapped in this forsaken age."
"Don't worry, Vulko." Renet said reassuringly. "I'll return you to your time before you became a werewolf. I know Esmeralda will be anxious to see you."
Vulko smiled as he grasped Renet's hand. "Oh, thank you. Thank you, great and powerful witch!" He said with relief.
Frank, meanwhile, twiddled his fingers as he looked rather down. "But… what of Frank?" He asked nervously.
"I would never forget you, Frank." Renet smiled up at the artificial monster. "You turned the tide of this battle. I'm gonna take you to the future where you'll be appreciated by everyone."
Frank smiled and nodded while Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all looked happy for the gentle monster.
Renet then used the Time Scepter to open up another time gateway which Vulko and Frank eagerly entered.
"And of course, I can't thank you guys enough." Renet said, turning to the Turtles, Po, and the Five.
"It was great meeting you, Renet." Viper smiled. "Hopefully, we'll see you again soon."
"Yeah, you're pretty awesome for a junior assistant." Po added cheerfully.
"Party on, Renet. You are the most incredible person who has ever lived in the history of living!" Mikey said, practically pouring his heart out to her.
Renet smiled as she leaned in and kissed Mikey on the cheek, causing hearts to appear in his eyes while Leo, Po, Raph, Donnie, Monkey, Mantis, Casey, and even Crane to whistle in a teasing manner while Viper squealed excitedly and Tigress shook her head with a fond smile.
"That's the second-nicest thing anyone's ever said about me." Renet said as she walked away towards the gateway.
Mikey, realizing her words, shook his head as he snapped out of his lovestruck trance. "Wait, what was the first?" He asked.
Renet looked back at him over her shoulder, a shy smile on her lips. "You'll just have to wait until we meet again, Michelangelo… in the future."
With that, she blew him a kiss before entering the portal as it closed behind her.
Mikey stared at the place where the portal had been for a good long time in silence before Leo rubbed a jack-o-lantern against his cheek.
"How about some trick-or-treating, team?" Leo said, noticing that it was still dark out with the sun just beginning to rise as he handed the jack-o-lantern to Mikey. "Tonight is the night."
Mikey smiled happily. "HALLOWEEN-AKASHA!" He cheered joyfully as he tossed the pumpkin into the air, with Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, April, and Casey laughing and smiling as they all had one collective thought on their minds.
Best. Halloween. EVER!
And so ends the Halloween Arc! I hope you all enjoyed it! I thought it would be cool to include a little cameo from the Worlds Collide series by Iron117Prime (which by the way, is one of the greatest crossover series I have ever read) since I've been thinking about how cool it would be for that series and the Kung Fu Ninja Turtles series to crossover, even though that's unlikely to happen. Still, Happy Halloween, everyone!
Worlds Collide series belongs to Iron117Prime, I own nothing.
