20: A Pursued Promise To Go Home

How was this even possible? How were these memories even here? As she thought back, she traced her timeline back. She had arrived in the era, met Sesshōmaru and InuTaisho, held intercourse with InuTaisho and was gifted some of his power, gave birth to Inuyasha, lived for a few years, broke Freedom, was encased in the Chambers of Freedom, and then returned during Kikyo's time period. She couldn't actually recall being in any battles to be honest. Thinking was all she did.

That's when it hit her... and it hit her hard. Time Warp. The spell did exactly as it stated... it warped the perception of time. However, it changed the time, who was there, what they did, and how they acted. For the love of the gods, exactly how long were these infuriating dog demons, minus Inuyasha and Rin, going to continue screwing with her damn mind?! While Freedom was, indeed, broken... she had truly emerged a few years later, still in the Kamakura era, not the Feudal era.

Once she returned happily to her family, only for the battle to occur where she lost all of her memories, had been sent to Haruka and fell in love with him, and was returned in her suspended state of death, only for Sesshōmaru to hastily come to her first before she could fully wake so that he could place her back inside of a memory altering Chambers of Freedom that was called the Chambers of Altered Crystals so that she wouldn't rush her way back to lord Haruka or his father.

Snapping out of it, she witnessed his face and began to frantically panic, "Haru! Haru! Snap out of it Haru!" Kagome yelled as she shook his shoulders to snap him out of it. His eyes had become dull and bland as if his soul was no longer in his body. With the bell ringing, Haru snapped out of it before hiding his tail from the world, abruptly stood up, and clasping his hands around her face with tears sliding down his cheeks, "I thought that I had lost you and would never see you again..."

Leaning his towering frame down, his lips then brushed against hers, only for her to lean in for a moment before breaking away and winking, "Come on, it's lunch time!" Chuckling at her, he then held his hand out to her, which she took. Walking to the lunchroom, everyone noticed the two holding hands as they walked and talked... especially Tōga and Sesshōmaru. Tōga narrowed his eyes at this rabies infested wolf and couldn't understand this particular angel's logic in the slightest.

Rin and Inuyasha both noticed the two daiyokai's jealous faces, only to look at one another in confusion until their mother completely bypassed them with someone else to sit at an empty table with someone else. Rin then looked at the wolf and chuckled, "Hey, they're kinda cute together!" Both jealous daiyokai's faces instantly snapped towards her, making her gain a dry expression, "I am allowed to have my own opinion big brothers. Maybe sis is only making him feel welcome."

Shifting his eyes back, Tōga could have sworn that he had witnessed this flea infested mongrel somewhere but couldn't place his finger on it in the slightest. Inuyasha then shifted his head over before blinking rapidly, "Hey, I could be wrong... but isn't that lord Haruka?" Rin looked again and realized it as well, even though the right side of his bangs weren't covering his face as they once had, "Yeah! That is lord Haruka!" Rin instantly stood and began rushing over, "HARUKA!"

Turning his head, he was soon under siege with hugs, making him laugh and give a hug in return, "Hey Rin! Have you been good?" Nodding her head brightly, she then smiled, "I didn't know that you came to this school too!" Kagome then snickered at this as Haru explained, "Well, Sesshōmaru shut down for a while a long time ago and Rin here came to live at the northern palace to gain more knowledge on how to fight. When she told me who her mother was... I almost fell apart."

Inuyasha then walked forward before lifting his hand, "Yo Haruka! Ya been good all these years?" Chuckling, Haru then nodded with almost sad eyes before they brightened up again, "Well, I'm sure you remember everything that I told you long ago. However, now that I have her back, I will never let her go again." Rin then giggled at this, "I approve! You guys would be totally adorable together! You were always way more fun to be around than being around my dad. He's just so... bleh."

Well, Kagome wouldn't argue with that one. Sesshōmaru had one hell of a bland facial expression, attitude, and well... everything. Tōga's memories finally clicked over everything before standing and walking forward. Coming to a slow stop with a face of pure agitation, he then leaned down with a smirk to whisper in a low and deadly tone that only he heard, "Haruka, do not force me to steal your precious angel's heart, because make no mistake that I will do it right in front of you again."

No longer timid, Haruka then stood up with a face that blazed with pure unadulterated evil the moment he got into Tōga's face, "Try it again and you will be losing more than your own eye, InuTaisho. You took the only thing in my godforsaken life that I ever loved and cared about! You stole our future!" Kagome then blinked rapidly and shifted her head to the side to see the two in each other's faces, making her sigh and stand as the cafeteria began to chant, "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"

Looking at the angered arctic wolf with tender eyes, she then took his furious balled up fist that now shook with rage, "Haru, calm down. I promise you, we will go back home, but, you have to find me before anyone else does. We won't remember each other, so that just makes me excited to get to know you all over again." Tōga's face then drained with color as he whispered, "Kagome, you CAN'T use counterclockwise again!" That's when her sharp eyes clouded over, "You're right."

Releasing a breath, Tōga then figured that she was done until she grit her teeth furiously, "That's why I will be using ANTICLOCKWISE!" More or less, they were the same spells, but Anticlockwise stole the memories from everyone unless they were blood related to the one casting the spell, such as Inuyasha and Rin - or Kirara, who was immune to all spells effects. However, this time, she planned on going much further back in time so that Sesshōmaru didn't find her first.

Tōga now appeared mortified the moment she unleashed her wings and tails, which were now forever apart of her very essence, making everyone's eyes widen at what they were now witnessing. Haruka then turned towards her and dipped down to capture her lips as tears cascaded down his face to splash against hers. Rin then folded her arms with a smile, "Even if I'm no longer a daiyokai, it's better than never seeing mommy in pain ever again." This made Inuyasha nod sadly, "Yeah..."

The moment Haruka pulled away, he pressed his forehead to her own lovingly, "Well, it looks like we'll have plenty of time to start over, form our love, mate, and then create pups. I would definitely name our girl Rin." Rin's eyes then filled with tears before she rushed forward and hugged Haruka tightly, "Love you mommy, love you daddy." Kagome then stroked her pup's hair, "Don't worry pup, I already stored your soul in my heart. I would do it for Inuyasha... but... that's not possible."

"However, I can still do this for you..." she spoke before tapping his forehead, "Daiyokai preserve!" Peering at Sesshōmaru, Kagome then smiled, "Sesshōmaru, you won't have to worry about hating Inuyasha, for he will be pure of blood. Tōga... fuck off and burn in hell. Remember or not, which I most definitely will not remember, I hope to never see you again! Do you hear me?! You are a selfish, two-timing, backstabbing, and cruel man who does not deserve a shred of my love!"

How much pain and suffering would he continue to cause? She had loved him unconditionally... and he spat that gifted love straight into her face to the point that she was now truly wishing him death instead of mourning his impending death. She would no longer gaze at him with those adoring eyes, for she would no longer even know as to who he even was. She would keep all stored knowledge except for people, so she would still know of his death that would come inevitably come.

Internally narrowing his focus while inwardly growling, he then made a resolution to find her first, no matter the circumstances. If he couldn't have her love, then neither could Haruka, for her heart would always belong to him. Haruka then stroked her hair tenderly and lovingly, "I love you..." Smiling with gentle eyes, Kagome then snapped her fingers for Kirara and her bag filled with clothing to appear, only to lightly flick his nose, "I love you too... Now... ANTICLOCKWISE!"

Landing face down on the ground with a squeak, Kagome then sat up and hummed in a thought-filled manner, "Hm... what was I doing?" Kirara knew not to speak of the spell she used, for it held the possibility of dragging up all of those memories, so she merely mewed, "My, that was quite graceful my lady! You had decided to take a journey, so, shall we be on our way again?" Chuckling, she then nodded, "Oh, you're right Kirara!" Hearing a young whimper and cry, she turned her head.

Blinking rapidly to find the source of the noise, she then began to walk as she heard a young boy sobbing out, "Please, stop hurting me!" Rushing now, she then skidded to a halt, "HEY, LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU BULLIES!" The group of demons turned to look at her to snarl until witnessing the sparkling wings and tails, "An... An angel?!" - "I thought all of your kind were dead!" - "This pup's father killed our pups and stole our lands and banished us, so we're making the scores even!"

Flaring her immense power, and scaring the demons off, Kagome sighed softly and began to walk towards the badly bleeding little boy that had been stripped nude and held long silver locks. Kneeling down, she began to heal him until fully healed, only to pull out one of her t-shirts and pull it over his tiny body before picking him up to rest on her hip, "Hey sweetie, that must have been pretty scary... but you're safe now. Can you tell me your name and where are your parents honey?"

Slowly uncovering his golden orbs, the pup noticed as to how beautiful this woman was and nervously spoke, "M-My name i-is prince S-Sesshōmaru, those d-demons took me far from m-my home." Kagome then kissed his forehead and nuzzled her cheek to his as her tails wrapped around him securely, "Is that so? Well then Sesshōmaru, my name is Kagome, and this is my companion Kirara. Now, I have a question. Would you like for us to help you, or can you make it by yourself?"

"D-Don't leave Kagome! I-I don't know how to get home," the young pup frantically exclaimed. In the eyes of a mortal, he would appear no older than the age of four, so he was pretty damn cute. Nodding her head, she then giggled, "You got it! So, can you tell me what lands you are the prince for?" Nodding his head and wiping the tears from his eyes, he answered, "The western domains. Hey, Kagome? Can I tell you something?" - "Mhm, of course!" - "You're dressed really weird!"

As she walked, Kagome began to blink rapidly over this comment before huffing, "So says the cute pup wearing some of my said "weird" clothing!" She was wearing a pair of fashionably ripped dark wash skinny jeans that held tasteful diamonds scattered here and there, knee high black boots with small heels that held crossed straps across them that held diamonds, a skin tight dark blue tank top with white angel wings on the back, and two white gold bangles with four diamonds.

This made Sesshomaru giggle at how dramatic she was before she gently squished the adorable pup to her, "Well, it's a couple days walk to the western palace. I can only imagine how worried your parents are." This made the mini-Sesshōmaru quietly glance down until whimpering, "They probably haven't even noticed that I am gone. Mother is really mean and strict. She avoids me as much as she possibly can. Father is nicer... he's just really busy running the western domains."

Kagome then gained a slightly shocked facade, "Mean... to someone... as adorable as you?! Oh Sesshōmaru, what is this world coming to?! It must be the end of the world!" Kisses to the cheek were then given, along with snuggles that had him giggling happily in little to no time at all before lying his head on her shoulder and tiredly mumbling, "Kagome?" Smiling at his tired voice and supporting the back of his head, she spoke, "Yes?" - "You're... really pretty..." his voice trailed off.

Smiling at such an innocent pup, she then kissed the top of his sleeping head, "Thank you, sweet pup." Continuing to walk while stroking the sleeping pup's silver locks, the angelic maiden hummed a gentle melody that was held in a music box locket that she currently wore. By the time the sun was setting and Sesshōmaru had been talking brightly to her for a bit now, Kagome then came to a stop near a natural hot spring, "How about we stop for the night? You, sir, are a dirty pup."

His giggles were like music to her ears as she sat him on his feet and took the shirt off of him before removing her own clothing and picking him back up to step into the water to begin washing the filthy pup and herself. Once done, she marveled at how beautiful this baby truly was as she held him close, which he didn't mind the snuggles at all, even if they were nude snuggles. Stepping out of the water after a bit, Kagome sat Sesshōmaru down and wrapped a towel around herself first.

Pulling out another towel, she began to playfully towel his long silver locks off to make him smile brightly while releasing those fits of laughter that sounded so much sweeter than any church bell that could ever be heard. Dressing him in a new shirt of hers and placing shorts and a loose t-shirt on that had unknowingly once been Sesshōmaru's, Kagome then caught and made dinner, only for him to chirp out, "Oh wow! This is so tasty! I've never tasted anything so yummy before!"

Kissing his forehead once dinner was done, and he was rubbing his eyes tiredly, the angel then laid his head on her lap with him holding onto Kirara adorably as she stared at the fire in front of her, only to hear his sweet young tone, "Kagome? I'm... I'm scared to sleep. What if we are attacked?" Unclasping her music box locket from her neck, she then laid it in front of him before opening it so that it began playing making his eyes droop quickly, "That song... is so... pretty..."

Threading her fingers through his long and silky silver locks, she then smiled, "Yes... Affections Touching Across Time is very pretty..." The song even helped her fall asleep until dawn was upon them. With sky-blue orbs fluttering open, Kagome placed her locket back on before changing into a collared thigh high white dress that flowed around her at the bottoms, she took in a deep breath before picking out a new shirt for Sesshomaru and changing him before holding her hand out.

Wearing no shoes, but keeping her locket and bangles on, Kagome's hand was happily taken as they began to walk. My, this pup was far too adorable to not smile at once he chirped out, "You look so pretty! I like this outfit on you!" They were now approaching the western castle and felt a surge of two powerful daiyokai duking it out. Picking Sesshomaru up and holding him close to her with her tails wrapped around his body as they walked forward, he then pointed, "That's father, Kagome!"

It wasn't that hard to figure out that much. However, the father paid the young pup no mind as he roared out, "You will learn your place Haruka! I will make sure that you leave here with something missing!" The pup's voice did distract Haruka though, considering the fact that it was his policy to not shed any blood in front of any young pups. Kagome's eyes then widened the moment she witnessed the distracted male's right eye become gashed open to the point that he would go blind.

"Forgive me, lord InuTaisho, I-I submit!" He cringed out as blood began to slide down his face, making Sesshomaru hide his face against Kagome's chest while whimpering before opening her locket so that the melody inside softly jingled to calm the terrified pup down. Sheathing his sword, InuTaisho then bared his fangs at the mirroring lord, "Let your eye serve as a reminder as to who is stronger and in command of the alliance! Be thankful that it was only your eye and not your life!"

Finally turning his head, the lord of the lands noticed the frozen beauty that now carried his son. Narrowing his golden hues at the beautiful maiden, he then witnessed the angel wings before mumbling, "It cannot be... the angelic heiress..." Folding his arms, InuTaisho then approached her before coming to a stop, "You... You DARE touch my pup?!" Snapping out of it, Kagome could only scowl deeply, "Excuse me?! I saved this precious pup from his own death thanks to you!"

Grasping the hilt of his blade and yanking it out, Kagome didn't even flinch as he held it to her throat as he spoke in a darkened tone, "Care to pass that by me again wench?!" Sesshōmaru was now full blown panicking now as Kagome then spat out furiously, "You are unbelievable! He is your heir and you just now realized that he was missing from your home?! I didn't have to save him, yet I did so anyway due to his innocence!" - "F-Father, Kagome is telling the truth," the pup panicked.

Releasing an angered sharp breath, Kagome handed the pup over with a scowl before unclasping her music box locket from around her neck, only to place it around the adorable pup's neck, "Affections Touching Across Time is now all yours Sesshōmaru. You have to promise that you will take very good care of it! Now, be a good boy, for I must leave now." Sesshomaru then nodded his head at the angel, "I promise to take extra good care of it Kagome. But, do you have to leave...?"

Nodding her head with a saddened smile, Kagome then turned away before the young pup could make her change her mind, "I'm afraid so sweetie, do take care of yourself." Walking away now, Kagome had to block out InuTaisho barking out at her like some rabid dog while the pup held his hand out to her, "No! Please don't go Kagome!" InuTaisho then lifted his brow slightly at this panicked tone that his son now held over the angelic maiden now leaving as if she were his mother.

Continuing to walk with a scowl plastered upon her beautiful face, she now wished that she had kept the young pup for herself. InuTaisho then appeared in front of her with a smirk, "Maybe you should take a few days to rest your body inside of my castle." Haruka heard this and kept his gashed eye closed to only barely witness the angelic maiden as Azuki rushed out to him, "Lord Haruka?! That is a serious injury! Come now... let us be off to the northern domains so that you might rest."

A spiteful glare was then shoved InuTaisho's way as Kagome basically spoke a scowl, "Yeah, no, I'll pass. I can tell you are merely wishing to use my body, which I will not allow in the slightest! Thank you for your "generous" offer, but I will have to pass. I don't care who you are, considering you hold such little value for life! You also forced your own pup to witness that atrocious sight! Now, get out of my way this instant before things get out of hand and ugly rather quickly!"

Smirking rather darkly, he knew of one thing to be true. As long as he held Sesshōmaru, she would not attack in the slightest, causing for him to walk forward and grasp the angel around the hip before tossing her over his shoulder, only to clamp down onto her hip rather tightly so that she could not make her escape as she flailed furiously, "Hey! Put me down right this moment! Dammit, release me this very instant you stupid dog, I am not some toy for you to play fetch with!"

Ignoring her bickering and bantering, he then stopped by the lord of the northern domains, "Leave now," his darkened tone rang out. Azuki quickly helped Haruka up before helping him inside of his carriage, only for it to begin heading back to the northern domains. Placing a cold rag against her lord's injured eye, she then scoffed, "How indecent... treating a lady, angel or not, in such a cold manner against her will. It's no wonder lady Kimi and himself hold such a horrid mating!"

InuTaisho then carried the flailing young lady inside of the castle as Sesshōmaru held her hand that wasn't flailing with his own tiny hand. Having a door unlocked, Kagome was then hurled inside so hard that the back of her head slammed against the stone of the wall, causing for her to slump over... completely unconscious at that point. Sesshōmaru then wiggled free from his father's arms and rushed forward, "Ka-Kagome! Hold on... she smells really tasty... I-I don't understand."

Snapping back, he witnessed that white sparkling blood pooling out, making him panic frantically, "GET... GET AWAY FROM HER! THAT BLOOD WILL PURIFY YOU SON!" Darting inside, InuTaisho then took hold of his young pup before placing him outside of the room and closing the door, only to lock it. Walking forward, InuTaisho then leaned to her ear before his hot and moist breath assaulted her ear, "Make no mistake angelic maiden... you will become mine whether you want to or not."

Watching and feeling her subconsciously arching tightly against his chest, his hand then swiftly latched onto the dip of her back while growling possessively and purring softly against her ear to work her up further. Her scent was nothing short of divine... and he would have her to replace his royal bitch of a mate that he couldn't stand one single bit. Just as he went to mark her to be his, he forced his inner demon far down before purring out, "It's not as fun if you willingly come to me."
