Naruto belongs to its creators. I own nothing.

Any other references are just references; I obviously can't claim them either.

I am a shitty and very lazy writer, but I still try to proofread and execute grammar checks. Not well, but it's more effort than some people around here.

I was quickly processed for early entry into the academy which would start in a couple of weeks. As a result, I had many people nearly bend over backward just to help me get in. This spiraled into me getting my own shitty apartment for me to stay in, which also meant I had to, once again, manage my own finances for food and other necessities. Ohe sweet freedom, you are almost not worth the financial burden.

Thankfully, all the bills would be directly paid for by the government. I would just be getting an allowance to take care of everything else. That is as long as my grades are good, otherwise, I get sent straight back to the orphan. Which was fair.

When Naruto heard I was leaving, he had thrown quite a fit that he wanted me to take him with me. I never had a kid in my past life, and I don't think I could take care of one now either. So, I just told him straight that I couldn't take him with me.

However, I promised that he could visit whenever he wanted to on the weekends, which was enough to calm him down thankfully. The orphanage even agreed to drop him off, they are probably just happy they can leave him unattended for a couple of days.

After moving into my new temporary home, I got to work covering up my weaknesses. Ever since my fight with Shisui, I really had the itch to learn some taijutsu. Though I was greedy and wished for one that would maximize the use of my dojutsu. That being said, the only taijutsu that would do such a thing was the Eight Trigrams Gentle Fist Style.

Which is a technique that I didn't have the right to learn as I was no Hyuga, but fuck the Hyuga, I began learning it anyways. Using my own x-ray vision, I spied once more on the Hyuga clan and watched Neji beat the living shit out of Hinata. Hinata has yet to be kicked from the Hyuga clan and move into Kurenai's home it seems. Well, more visual pointers for me, I guess. While I do feel bad for the girl, I could do nothing for now anyways. While I trained and learned taijutsu, I left a bunch of clones out to practice chakra control, which I would then throw some genjutsu at.

While my morning was taken up by taijutsu stealing and practicing, I used the afternoon to grind the dungeon for more DP, Pokeballs, and chakra sensor pills, all by repeating. I also found several dungeons by exploring Konoha itself.

Here are a few samples of what I found:

[Instance Dungeon: Uchiha Clan Compound - A Rank

Recommended Level: Elite Jonin

Enemy Type: Fire/Dark/Fighting Type Pokémon

Would you like to enter?

Yes/No]

This dungeon made sense, and it will definitely take some time before I can enter this.

[Instance Dungeon: Orochimaru's Abandoned Lab #7 - Rank C

Recommended Level: Tokujo (Tokubetsu Jonin)

Enemy Type: Ditto

Would you like to enter?

Yes/No]

This dungeon entrance was found near some random tree in a park. While the dungeon is fine, I don't think I want to find the actual entrance to the real lab just yet, but this is certainly something to keep note of for the far future.

[Instance Dungeon: The Hokage Mountain - EX Rank

Recommended Level: God (Otsutsuki)

Enemy Type: Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre

Would you like to enter?

Yes/No]

No, just no. Nothing else needs to be said.

[Instance Dungeon: Konoha's Front Gate - S Rank

Recommended Level: Kage

Enemy Type: Regigigas

Would you like to enter?

Yes/No]

Also no. Thank you very much. Though the last two dungeons set rather interesting precedence. S Rank and above will most likely have legendary tier stuff.

Anyways, after four days in this routine and I broke, I just couldn't handle it anymore. I really wanted to see what Glacial was capable of. As a result of this desire, I decided to do something stupid one afternoon. I decided to enter the dungeon; [Orochimaru's Abandoned Lab #7].

[You have entered a C Rank Dungeon

Time until you are expelled: 16 Hours

Reminder: The red beacon is where the boss is located, and upon finding a safe zone, you can activate a blue beacon to its location permanently.]

Neat. Sure enough, in a flat and square open area where there were dittos a bound. Probably around 20 of them crawling around. I summoned Iris, and they all looked at her and slowly copied her look. Almost like a change reaction, I see slowly see a field of level 40 Venipedes. Good, gooood, gooooooood. As I am still at the front gates of the dungeon and as a result take advantage of the fact that they can't attack me just yet to show off Iris to them like she was Simba. Making sure that they all took the chance to transform into her. I didn't what to let these guys copy the actual Pokémon who is going to attack after all.

I then quickly summoned Glacial, all while screaming, "with the frosty power of ice, use Subzero Slammer!"

The pure white fox jumped out from the seal on my hand, being launched into the air. A swirl of blue energy flowing out from deep within my heart surrounds the vulpine as an icy platform appears from underneath her for her to land on. A blizzard slowly covers the area as a ball of pure frosty energy is storing up all to quickly in front of her mouth. She then fires out the energy like one would fire a Kame-hame-ha wave at all the dittos-turned Venipedes. Rapidly three large crystals of Ice coagulate and then burst apart, the force of which scatters icy energy every which way. About a solid 99% percent of the dungeon was all covered in ice, from the ceiling to each wall.

That attack rivaled in power to a tailed beast bomb. No wonder I have a one-week cool down after every time I summon her. Hell, by all means, that cooldown could have been a one-month one, though I also could have asked for my hacked shiny Rayquaza. Not that I hold much feeling for that Pokémon. Speaking of Pokémon, the overpowered beast gracefully climbed down from her icy tower, leisurely walked up to me, and looked me dead in the eyes.

An awkward pause floated between us as I had no idea what to expect. I only just realized that this was a creature way above my pay grade. Typically, to even command such power you would need to have all eight badges. Though I would assume in this world, I need to be a Jonin or something. So, I just stayed still. That was until she licked my face, covering it in a frosty layer of spit.

"Pwuaha, what the," I quickly go to wipe away the chilling slobber as both of my Pokémon began snickering at me. "Ok, I get it, I was being too stiff. Let's just look for the safe zone."

I begin to run forward, only for the large fox to toss me up and onto her back. Iris took the initiative to take residence upon my head. I hung on for dear life as the swift arctic fox darted around in search of the safe zone, which didn't take long to find traveling so swiftly in this maze-like dungeon. The safe zone was past a door on one of the many walls' side that opened into a small room. We went in and I activated the beacon.

After catching my breath, I took a look at my ill-gained spoils of war.

[World Items 1/100: Ryo – 0

Kitchen Knife

Dungeon Items: DP – 301

Chakra Sensor Pill x10

Weedle (Friend Ball) x1

Ratata (Friend Ball) x1

Sewaddle (Friend Ball) x1

Wingull (Friend Ball) x1

Friend Ball x 13

Juinjutsu: Five Elements Sacrificial Exchange Seal Scroll x1

Contracted Pokémon:

Glacial - Alolan Ninetails [EX] Lv: 100

Iris – Venipede [EX] Lv: 13]

I really should get some sort of weapon that's not a Kitchen Knife, but damn that's a lot of DP points that I did nothing to earn. I decided to check out the dungeon shop as I had about an hour to kill, why specifically an hour?

Well, that's how long it takes for a Z-Move to recharge. Yeap, that overpowered thing only needs a one-hour break. That's not all, the cooldown can be reduced to 1 minute as our bond power grows.

Focusing back on shopping, I see a rather interesting-looking book sold for 1 DP.

[A Systemic Guide to Pokémon in the Shinobi World]

Out of pure curiosity, I decide to purchase it and give it a read-through and was thoroughly disappointed. It was just the normal information on what Pokémon are in this world and basic info about how they work. Things like the type chart, explanation of abilities, and what evolution is. The only new info to me was how Pokémon are affected by ninjutsu when factoring in the type chart.

Which boiled down to:

Flying = Wind

Fire = Fire

Water = Water

Earth = Ground or Rock

Lightning = Electric

None of this is concrete, but it will be true 90% of the time. The opposite is true as well. While Fire Release Jutsu is ineffective against Ice Release jutsu of the same level. A Pokémon's fire-type move will absolutely destroy any Ice Jutsu of the same level.

To put it simply, while the chakra of Pokémons follows different rules compared to the rest of the world, they can still interact with each other. This is interesting info, but I could have figured that out easily myself. This information is merely 1% of the entire book, and the entire book is useless to me now.

Feels like I am back in college. Thankfully the book only costs one DP, if it had cost 20 or something, I would have been furious. Well, I really didn't want to buy this book for myself, but for others. So, I buy three more, along with 4 potions, and 1 antidote. All of this made me realize that 10 DP equals 100P (PokéDollars), which was an interesting revelation.

After this, we took a look around the dungeon looking for any Ditto's that may have been leftover and to look for any items as well. In the Academy dungeon, you could get materials and make a Friend Ball, I was wondering what could be found and made in this dungeon. Searching around, we came across several treasure chests, some chests being Ditto's in disguise much to my annoyance.

Fucking discount mimics, Glacial bodied them easily enough though. It's quite a shame that I can't just summon her 24/7. The chests and the fake chests all dropped a few different items, but they all fell under similar categories.

Random Apricote drops: Allowing me to make an assortment of random Pokeballs. Random ninja equipment that sadly goes into my normal limited storage. Lastly; if I am really lucky, I could get DNA sludge, which I have no idea what it can be used for. Probably something game-breaking as most stereotypically obscure items tend to be.

Finally, my Z-Move cool-down just ended, which meant it was time to blast the boss.

[Entering The Boss Room:

Current Week's Boss Arena Bonus – Dark Type Immunity

Next Week: Permanent Counter]

"Subzero Slammer."

[The Boss has been defeated or captured. The dungeon is now complete.

You have over 15 hours remaining until the dungeon closes.

Do you wish to leave now?

Yes/No]

I then take the rest of the time to hang out and relax with my Pokémon as they can't yet fully stay outside with me in the real world. Especially Glacial in Konoha, that's like having a Nazi sticker on your forehead while being surrounded by Jews. I also sent out a bunch of clones to train, as this was a timeless dimension, this is the closest thing to a hyperbolic time chamber for me right now, so I won't be wasting even a single moment.

Specifically, I finally started my attempts at making a ninjutsu technique, though it's not going so well. My progress was recognized by the system, but I only manage to create a prototype of my desired technique.

[Ninja Art Chakra Pellet (C) Lv: 3

A marble-sized condensed ball of chakra concentrated on the index and middle finger that can be fired off. The only reason this is a C rank is that, with practice, it can be fired rapidly and it doesn't use hand signs. Otherwise, it's just a shit technique with low power output. Also known as an extremely inefficient use of chakra.]

Though time quickly flew by and I had to unsummon my Venipede and my Ninetails, which initiated the latter's one-week cool-down timer, right before I got ejected from the dungeon.

[First-time clear bonus reward: 100 DP plus Biological Item Replication Perk

Normal rewards: 40 DP plus Hojogan x1]

Oh, what's this? Something with a "gan" at the end of it? I pulled the odd item out and found a glass jar filled with an interesting fluid containing a pair of eyes. These eyes had a regular looking pupal with an oddly colorless pupal, but the oddest thing about them is an outer black ring that looked similar to that of a scope.

[Hojogan:

Meaning auxiliary eye. It is a dojutsu that it great for assisting ninjas in their survivability. It enhances your chakra control, and can also let you see chakra to a similar degree as a Sharingan. However, its greatest merit is its ability to adapt a unique chakra quality into itself to further specialize its ability. This can only be done once in a pair's lifetime, and it must be done prior to implantation.

It is the ultimate eye for support and it can integrate into your DNA, allowing it to be a natural part of you and gaining the ability to be passed down to the next generation. This ability will not override your previous dojutsu bloodline limit if you had one.

Currently Can Grant:

-Chakra Vision

-Boosted Chakra Control

-Recommended to add a unique type of chakra for assimilation, as these eyes are capable of evolving once prior to implantation.]

Hmm? Really? I immediately began infusing the jar with yin nature chakra, which was easy for me to control thanks to my practice with genjutsu, and watched the eyes transform. while the iris stayed colorless, the scope-like design became wavier.

[Genso no Hojogan:

Meaning auxiliary eye of fantasy. It is a dojutsu that is great for assisting ninjas in their survivability. It enhances your chakra control, and can also let you see chakra to a similar degree as the Sharingan. It can also increase your ability to use genjutsu and other yin release-based techniques.

It is the ultimate eye for genjutsu support and it can integrate into your DNA, allowing it to be a natural part of you and gaining the ability to be passed down to the next generation. This ability will not override your previous dojutsu bloodline limit if you had one.

Can Grant:

-Chakra Vision

-Boosted Chakra Control

-Yin Release Affinity

-The ability to cast Ocular Genjutsu]

So, everything that my Kakugan can already do? Man, this is an absolute dogshit reward for me. My own eyes are already ten times better. Sure, I can probably attempt to evolve this with something like sage chakra, but for me to even evolve it properly, I would need to already have sage mode.

This and the Five Element Sacrificial Seal are proof enough to me that the rewards provided by the dungeons do not cater to what I already have or don't need. This means that the system merely grants an abundance of resources and methods for power, how I used those resources is up to me.

Moving on, I check out my next reward:

[Biological Item Duplication:

Using DNA Sludge, and other requested items, you can perfectly duplicate a biological item in your inventory. This can only be done once a month.]

This on the other hand is overpowered as fuck, though very much in theme with the rest of this dungeon, one I clearly am not meant to beat so soon.

After exiting the dungeon, I swiftly left the park and made my way to a more residential area. With the sole purpose of getting rid of some of my items, I looked for the Aburame clan and found my first target.

[Akira Aburame – Female (19)

Rank – Genin

Summary: Incompatible, cannot work with clan beetles, smart at surviving.

Her thoughts on you: Has yet to notice your existence.

Perfect Link: Bug Generalist, Compatible with all Non-Beatle Like Insect Pokémon]

Hmm, my scanning ability is showing more info. Does it get better with more unlocked system functions? Whatever, I have found an older Genin, one that is unable to progress any further as a shinobi but is most likely opportunistic enough to take advantage of what I am about to give them without much complaint. I hide in a dark alleyway and used my genjutsu to confuse her towards my location.

"Wait, I didn't want to come here, did I make a wrong turn somewhere?" Akira questions herself.

"Not at all, fate has clearly compelled you here young one!" I announce having used a genjutsu to disguise my form. I looked like a crotchety old drug addict. "Compelling you clearly to...?" I pause menacingly as she stared deeply into my Kakugan.

"To, what?" The kunoichi asks skeptically.

"To, buy some of my wares of course! I sell powerful items to shinobis, A few have already bought some of my items fully satisfied with my products! How about it, want a new edge in this cutthroat business?"

"Pun, intended?" She deadpans.

"Very much so." I see her biting her, rather plump, lips. Clearly contemplating if I was a scammer or not, she then sighs.

"Sure, why not, this could be my lucky break."

"I can promise you that you will not be disappointed," in like two years. "First item for sale are these special summoning contracts called soul contracts that bind you to a special beast called a Pokémon. I have two left for sale, they are the most popular products after all. They also come with a free guide on how to use them!"

"How much for one?"
"Mmm, 50,000 Ryo."

"What in the hell! You just made that number up!"

"Of course not, this is the price for all of my Pokémon! However, I am open to negotiation."

"Are, are these things really that powerful? I can't I look through a guide now?" The price is scaring her off, shit I went too high. The money is nice, but not worth losing a perfect gunnie pig.

"Normally, I would say no. Many ninjas can memorize information pretty well, but you being a Genin and all, I will cut you a break. You get two minutes." I hand a book over, which she quickly reads through. Her eyes widen in surprise as she reads about how strong some Pokémon can be.

"Can you do 30,000? That's just barely in my budget."

"Nope, way too low. I am willing to meet you in the middle, 40k."

"I, I can't. 35k? I that's really pushing it for me."

"I can see that you understand my product's potential, but that is still too low. 40k, and I will add a couple of these ninja pills in for you?"

"What do these pills do?"

"Well, these were created by quite the madman, apparently. Each of these pills has a small chance of unlocking the ability to become a chakra sensor, but it is essentially a gamble." The words I spoke gave her hope for a brief moment, but such hope got completely squashed by the caveat.

"Grah! This entire thing is a fucking gamble. Fine 40k, I can just starve for the next month. Which one is the better one?" Frankly, I was just surprised that she actually had that much cash on her. But then again, it seems that she was planning on shopping for all of her equipment and groceries for the next month.

"Hmm, I don't know, I have no idea what is in these specifically, I just know they are bug types." I want to let the girl randomly pick between a Weedle and a Sewaddle. It's more fun that way.

"Fucking hell! Give me the right one." Oh? Weedle? That is actually the choice most beneficial for her sadly. I was hoping she would pick the other one.

"Please stick your hand out, I will bind the contract." I place the ball on the back of her hand, and immediately after, the ball sinks in and vanishes. Only leaving behind a circular seal. "A quick note, you can move the seal to any location on your body with your mind, and here are your two pills plus book."

"Screw you!" The girl yells out as she storms off due to being coerced into all of this. Thanks to her, however, I now have some money as well.

I did this for both the Sewaddle and the Rattata in my inventory. The Sewaddle going to another kunoichi, not of the Aburame, that does stuff with strings and illusions. A Chuunin trap setter essentially. The rat went to a newly minted Genin, a rich boy with a slightly above-average chakra reserve. Neither of them got any Chakra Sensor Pills, but they only had to pay 30K each.

With this goal accomplished, and with nightfall swiftly approaching, I hastily moved on and focused on my next goal for the day. Using my eyes at their full power to avoid any detection, and to look for someone very specific. Eventually, I found the house of Kurenai Yuhi, the genjutsu specialist who will eventually become the Jonin leader of Team 8.

You see I had no use for the Genso no Hojogan, however, I didn't want them to go to waste. Using my eyes, I made sure that no other ninja was nearby watching, and that the aforementioned kunoichi was actually at home. Once I made sure what I was about to attempt would be well hidden, I knocked on the door. It took a few seconds, but eventually a 19 to 20 year old just turned Jonin opened the door. As soon as the door opened up, I placed her in a genjutsu to disguise my form.

"I am very busy at the moment, if this is some sort of sails pitch, can you please make this quick." She asked while looking over my head. Hmm, it seems that a Kurenai with nine fewer years of experience is very weak to my genjutsu. Understandably, genjutsu that are used through eye contact is extremely overpowered.

I then use my genjutsu to compel her to move out of my way as I enter her home. Using a new one that I had recently created on the path to genjutsu godhood.

[Genjutsu: Brain Override (A) Lv: 3

A dojutsu exclusive genjutsu that allows you to block out any conscious signal a person can send out from their brain to their body, allowing it you to send out your own directives instead as long as you maintain eye contact. You can only maintain this jutsu for 1 minute per second of eye contact, and do so safely for 10 minutes, any and all time spent over the limit will cause a loss of vision gradually.

Can be countered by other dojutsu users, internal means of genjutsu disruption (Tailed Beasts), or if someone has an abnormally high genjutsu resistance.]

"What, why am I," I shut her up. Instantly realizing my control over her, she began analyzing the situation, her red eyes met mine with a serious and calculated look. I could also see her use her chakra in an attempt to break out of my genjutsu. Not really working, however.

"While difficult to believe, I am not hear to harm you, you were technically right about me giving out a sales pitch," I promised, though she didn't respond. "I happen to come across a rather valuable item that I have no use for, but wish to give away." I then pull out the eyes from my inventory. "These babies right here will greatly enhance your genjutsu capacity and allow you to see other people's chakra. At no extra cost too, they are perfectly safe and decently powerful; this will essentially level the playing field against Sharingan users." Excluding the Mangekyo of course. "They are called Genso no Hojogan, and I will be making you implant these."

After sending out the necessary command visually, Kurenai slowly began transplanting the eyes against her own will, unable to even let out a single scream despite the pain she felt. She was also forced to maintain eye contact as her new eyes bled. Slowly, the colorless iris turned into Kurenai's usual red, while the black scope-like ring fades away. It looked just like her old eyes, which I put into the jar and placed back into my inventory.

Though this situation sadly continued the stereotype that every girl can do some level of medical ninjutsu in Konoha, such a thing can honestly be excused with one phrase: Every kunoichi wants to be as capable as Tsunade.

After Kurenai wrapped up her own treatment, to make sure all is well, I plan to reinforce her medical work. I placed my hand on her forehead and finally try something I rarely get to practice.

[Life Force Manipulation Lv: 2

Allows you to manipulate the raw vitality within every being, for you can only transfer it out of you to heal others by sacrificing some of your own life expectancy.]

I slowly use about two months of my own life force to heal up Kurenai's post-transplant recovery process perfectly, and she noticed what I had done, leaving her slightly confused. I then commanded her to go back to her bed and stay there as long as my genjutsu's effect remains. I immediately left her home as I had about a minute to hide.

However, I didn't run. Kurenai most likely expects an adult, not a child to do what I had done. So, I should be fine for a while. To ironically confirm this thought, Kurenai speedily zips by me, looking around for a crotchety old druggy. I ignore her frantic searching, and with false bravado, make my way back to my apartment.

Upon arriving at my apartment, stumbled onto the floor, I had more than overtaxed my eyes to maintain control over Kurenai during the whole operation, Iris pops out of my seal and attempts to help me get to bed. Which I am very grateful for.

As long as I can get some proper rest, everything should be fine.

[Rest Lv: 101

Though not needed, with efficient and proper sleep, you can greatly boost your recovery.

-As soon as the user falls asleep, all negative conditions are halted and the body is temporarily stabilized.

-Heals wounds and removes all toxins and fatigue with 1 hour of sleep.

-Can realign bones, remove the effects of powerful Genjutsu, and erase scars with 2 hours of sleep.

-Regrow limbs with 4 hours of sleep.

-Can regrow any organs with 6 hours of sleep

-Removes all negative status conditions, except flaws granted by the system, after 8 hours of sleep.]
