Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Horde of Horrors. Enjoy the 3500-word chapter. I don't own She-Ra, Mattel and a few others do.
(Fright Zone)
Brennus kicked Adora back as he slowly started to attack the warrior. He was a warrior who had been oddly thrown onto this planet either way… yet? The Vorutian had been thrown off by this planet and every single little thing as of now. What came next would be interesting as he could easily tell that she was more powerful than she had been and all of this was weird.
As a Vorutian? He would need to battle her. His honor demanded it for anything. He slashed at her as he slowly started to drive her backward before now.
Still? He was a lot more curious about how he had to handle this… It wasn't as if she had been on the receiving end of the battle for now. She had no It was simply part of the idea that she had engaged him first.
"Are you going to be, ok? Do you need a break, hmm?" Brennus questioned before walking back and forth. "You will fall sooner or later. If Catra had been here? You will fall sooner or later." Brennus stated while he dodged one of her blades before she stabbed at her.
She growled, angry at him for seeming to take it so lightly. What she did do next? She'd be fighting faster and harder.
"You're not standing in my way," Adora stated before she lunged toward her enemy. "So just back off and save yourself the trouble," Adora stated to which Brennus rolled his shoulders.
"You need to battle with some sort of style. If your strikes are all about crushing me with brute force? It really won't work; you're letting yourself telegraph your strikes far too much." Brennus stated before he frowned to himself.
If she was here? That meant Catra was fighting more than she could handle herself.
"Coward, you sent your friends to fight Catra alone?" Brennus questioned before he snorted to himself.
"I'm the coward when you're the one wearing armor?" Adora questioned to which Brennus rolled his eyes.
"Considering your powers and the fact all I have is armor and my skills? Yes, at least I had to train to gain my skill, you get them from a magic sword." Brennus added to which she didn't have much of a retort.
He knew she had nothing. There was no real problem with it, something that he could not easily understand when it came down to it.
What little control he had over the situation slowly started to fall apart. One in which there was a lot more control of this when it seemed to be an odd little thing when it came down to it. She hummed. Still? There were a lot more problems when it came down to it, there was a lot more to this. Catra had been in trouble more than anything.
He knew more than anything just how dangerous how she was going to be, a worse opponent than what he wanted to properly deal with as of now. He was a lot more curious when than now. What he seemed to question was how this was to go.
He dodged a strike that could have cut his head if it had connected, he dodged and turned around. He rolled his eyes and easily sent her to the floor with a kick that could have floored her without the armor.
He rolled his eyes at her, curious as to how this fight as of now, there was more to this than had been done before.
He was oh so curious as of now. Catra would need backup, but he couldn't just abandon the Horde's men to their fight against Adora, she'd be screwed as of now. What to question for now?
"You're not going to win, Adora. You're not going to win before now. I'm going to stop you here… Even if I need to kick you across the entire base to do it… And something tells me you're going to make me kick you halfway across it before I'm done." Brennus added as he sighed, rolling his eyes under his helmet.
Adora growled and swing her blade at him as he dodged and began the process of fighting her again. He knew she'd not be hard to beat when it came down to it.
Did she want a fight? Sure, he'd give one when it came down to it. He'd make sure she lost that battle sooner or later.
Still? He'd be delayed from helping Catra and part of him thought that the goal wasn't to overpower him at the end of the day. There was a warrior between them before now for what to do next.
This was a lot more to handle he seemed to handle what to handle and what to do next. The move was going to be something that had been questioning what to do next. The move that came next to it.
He was a lot more to question. He seemed to tilt his head while he hummed as of the time when it seemed to question what to do next.
(With Catra)
Catra seemed to be a lot more bored, honestly bored at the end of the day. The move was a problem, something that needed to be dragged down to it. She flipped to the side, dodging a blast of Glimmer's magic before she tilted her head at them, curious as of now.
They wanted the hostages, curious for now. What it seemed to be. There was a lot more to this game.
She smirked, knowing where they were, knowing she could slowly start to maneuver them to the side. She tilted her head more as she drew her claws, and slowly started to drag herself forward, her claws cutting her power to do next. The move was going to be brought down, bringing it all down to the ground where it belonged… Yes, such a little thing.
"Tell us where Bow and Mermista are, Catra." Catra heard as she hummed, and cracked her fingers.
"Aw, what's the matter? You're going to cry at your henchmen being gone and dusted." Catra stated to which she tilted her head.
She cracked her fingers, hearing the snapping of claws which seemed to throw Glimmer backward and block another blast from the princess.
"I gotcha." Catra heard as she turned to look at Spyder and Scorpia backing her up as the two looked through the smoke at the princesses.
"Where's Brennus?" Catra asked to which Spyder frowned.
"He's going to be ok, he's always ok," Spyder stated and sighed to herself.
She knew the Vorutian Prince was fine, a warrior, one who could handle himself, couldn't be a problem for someone who could fight for himself. This seemed to be a lot more of now than it seemed.
There was more for the Horde Officer to understand. It seemed to be a lot more of a weird little game.
"He'll be all right; my brother can handle himself. It's what he's used to…. It's how things are for him." Catra stated why she seemed to question.
"There's a lot more what to do for the moment," Spyder said as he stood up and looked at her while she hummed.
"You're going to lose," Spyder stated to which the princesses seemed to weirdly hum.
She seemed to watch as they slightly backed off. They didn't have the advantage of numbers. The problem was simply in how to stop them. The understanding of the problem.
There was a lot more to focus on for now than it seemed before now. She tilted her head, unsure before she questioned while all of this was said and done.
She tilted her head, unsure of what was going on before she was done with this. They'd fall just as much as anyone, but there was a lot more curious before now what she hummed before well she questioned before now. Whatever came next would be nothing but a roll of the dice.
She knew that he was a powerful warrior, one which had to be challenged and properly defeated if nothing else. She would take Adora down, ripping the others down, if nothing else. She had a lot more to question before she seemed to be unsure of what to expect before now. if anything? She was calm, at the edge of her own emotions, and prepared for the worst if need be.
She knew that Brennus could handle it for now. There was a lot more to prepare for now. What she did know was that there was something that hadn't yet confounded her if all was to be said and yet. Here she was, fighting for her life as if she wasn't able to properly focus.
(With Brennus)
Brennus retreated down the corridor with his weapon ready, all too eager to fight Adora, but not willing to allow her to regroup with her friends. No, Catra would need him if there was a lot more to focus on before now what to question before now when it seemed to focus before, she tilts her head. There was a lot more to properly focus upon, take apart, yes. This puzzle hadn't yet revealed itself.
Brennus growled as he realized she was a distraction. She was just stopping him from getting to Catra… And he'd be cursed for now. This wasn't yet over, and it wouldn't be over for now. He had a lot more to question as of now. Still? he was a lot more to be handled before he got to safety.
"What's the matter, scared?" Brennus heard as he sighed and kicked Adora to the side right as a pair of Horde robots emerged.
"No, just angry you're such a pathic coward you could only win if you ganged up on Catra… And yet you call her the coward…" Brennus stated before he sighed to question what to do when he found her.
If Catra was in danger? He had to act quickly, but that meant stopping himself from engaging Adora and probably saving the hostages they had. Still? he couldn't allow his friend and comrade to fall…
If she was going down? She was going to have brought the others with her… However? Brennus wasn't going to let it rob it of his vengeance and such… However? Brennus knew when a battle was lost and wasn't able to fix it, this battle had been lost from the get-go. This little thing wasn't going to drag on for now.
He hummed, too unsure of what to question before this was a lot more to question before now. He hummed before this came down to it. He was able to focus more as of now.
Yet? He had a lot more to question about what else might go wrong for now. This nightmare wasn't something else to focus upon now when it came down to it, he had to make sure she was dealt with before now. This nightmare might not have ended yet…. But he'd be damned if she beat him before this was all over and before he was able to relax.
The rebels probably didn't care, why would they? All they cared about was winning, damn the rules, damn the code of honor, damn the proper way to conduct battle, and how the combatants were expected to have been able to do such things. He hadn't yet seemed to have gotten where he was anytime soon. He'd be falling apart if not for the fact that this insanity was to have gotten it for now. He questioned what to have done such problems for now.
(With Catra)
Catra seemed to question what she'd do. It was clear the princesses had lost their advantages and were forced into a fair fight with the Horde officer and her friends.
Catra turned and tossed Glimmer into the wall as Spyder started to fire webs around at the princess and her friends. It had been something that had yet been a problem.
"Where's my big brother, princess? What did you guys do to him?" Spyder asked as he slammed Glimmer into the wall.
He sighed as he realized his brother was in danger. He knew more than anything his brother could have handled himself. The warrior princess was someone who had been taught about war before… He was a warrior whom war had raised into pieces. He was a good man, at least good within the war itself. He didn't know before now what it seemed to have gotten where he could have been at the time.
Brennus seemed to have found it more and more amusing when it comes down to it. They had more and more pressing concerns as he tilted his head.
Glimmer dropped from his hands as a familiar water princess tried to attack from behind, Catra turned only for Mermista's trident to be stopped feet from her face.
"I knew Adora was a distraction," Brennus said before he flicked his sword and sent Mermista back. "Are you so unwilling to fight me like a warrior that you have to attack from behind?" Brennus asked to which Adora and the others appeared.
"You're being weak, you gang up on Catra, you use your powers to get out of fights… Princess, you have Bow already, why are you still here? Hmm? Because you thought maybe you could handle Catra who has backup… No, let me guess... Adora there thought she knew Catra well enough to predict her. You don't know a blasted thing about war if you think that." Brennus hissed before preparing for battle.
"We've got you outnumbered anyway!" Adora yelled to which Brennus and Catra shared a look.
"1? Your little super friend team SUCKS so nobody cares… Secondly?" Catra started to say as the alarms started to blare. "We're in the Fright Zone GENIUS. You invaded our base thinking you could take us on? Pff, Adora? Your fancy sword broke your stupid brain. Just go. We don't have time to beat you right now, we were in the middle of celebrating. Had to ruin that too. You're a terrible person with that, you know." Catra said to which Adora frowned.
"Yeah, well… Your parties are STUPID!" Adora said before she stabbed the wall as Brennus approached them. "He's right, run!" Adora yelled before the group retreated.
Brennus went to chase them before Catra snapped her fingers as he turned, waiting a minute as he looked at her before she raised an eyebrow. It was a clear sign he was confused for now and possibly for a while.
"So… I know they got away… But uh, we did pretty great against them so there's that. Brennus saved Catra there!" Scorpia said before he bowed.
"Adora tried to distract me, Scorpia. I am glad you are all unharmed… Will you be, ok?" Brennus asked as he sheathed his sword across his back. "You were brave, commander. Their cowardly plan is not your fault… If they weren't fools? They'd have faced us directly. It was clear they thought they had the better of us." Brennus stated before he sheathed the sword across his back.
"Hey… Thanks for helping, Bren. I thought she was going to stab me." Catra said to which Brennus shrugged.
"I'm glad you're all right, Catra. I came to see if they'd try and attack you from behind." Brennus said before he sighed. "Lord Hordak will not be happy the prisoners escaped and it's clear if they managed to get them all. Then we're probably going to see them counterattack sooner or later." Brennus said before he shook his head.
"Hey, it's not that bad. Remember, they ran away. They are SCARED, big brother, WE'RE WINNING!" Spyder said to which the Vorutian Prince laughed.
"I suppose your right, Spy. We did win today in a way…. But the next move is going to be harder to predict. The rebels are going to be hitting us harder and harder." Brennus stated as he sighed to himself.
"We can handle them for now. We should be happy they ran away before security showed up. Not even Adora would be able to stop that many soldiers." Brennus heard from Catra as he hummed. "Scorpia? We're going to talk to Hordak. You and Spyder stay here… Tell the others what happened and how they ambushed us." Catra ordered to which Brennus fell silent.
"Wouldn't it also be better to make sure we know where the rebels went? Adora is a former soldier here, no? She knows the Fright Zone inside and out… Defenses will have to be increased; I'll talk to Entrapta." Brennus said before he turned to Spyder. "But she's right. You should guard the area if they come back. We should be ready… Scorpia? I thank you again for aiding my brother and ensuring that he did not fall." Brennus added to which the girl grinned and rubbed at the back of her head.
"Hey, I can handle myself, Bren. Don't forget that." Spyder said to which Brennus shrugged and waved him off. "You like to dismiss people at times," Spyder said as Brennus held up a finger.
"I dismiss the fact you do not have the combat training I do and the fact it will always put you in danger. You also do not have the ruthless heart for war, little brother. I cherish the fact you are nice to even your enemies, but it means you are not willing to fight and kill if needed." Brennus stated to which Spyder sighed.
"Dad trained you to be a weapon, Bren. You're the one who's going to be the prince." Brennus heard as he shook his head.
"That does not make you less important than me, Spy…" Brennus added before he glanced around the room with interest. "We should go as of the time being. There isn't going to be a lot more terrible when it comes down to it." Brennus stated before he shook his head before he left.
It was clear to himself that there were problems with this… A lot more problems. It came down less to the idea such problems had existed and it was clear more than anything that if such ideas continued to exist? Well, they could kiss their spot goodbye.
Brennus was not stupid to the idea that the Horde could not have handled such ideas properly. They had more and more coming down the line and it was entirely clear they'd not be able to handle the rebels easier. It was all too well a problem that they'd not be able to just wipe the board clean, these issues wouldn't have just been swept aside.
No. They had to handle it properly and Brennus wasn't going to let the war be handled the way it should have been.
Catra let him clear his throat as he walked her with interest before it became clear that such issues weren't going to be easy to have stopped him for the time being, such issues only served to have him feel more and more tired at the end of the day. it had to have ended or not at all would it be positive at the end of the day.
They had more and more of a problem, something that needed to be ended and would be ended if someone got what they wanted. Catra focused purely on the fact that seemed to be over and their enemies. It needed to end and would sometime soon, all of it would need to end… Let Adora escape, for now, Catra would find her and dice her up.
She looked at Brennus who was all too easily impressed, all too easily controlled. It was far beyond Brennus to try and understand her… Yet? Catra was happy and peaceful around him… Brennus didn't abandon her; he didn't act as if some stupid new friends were more important than her own life…
Brennus looked at her and raised an eyebrow, confused and utterly interested for now, only bemused more and more as if it seemed he fully was deadest on trying to control Catra.
"Are you ok? We're going to need to report to Lord Hordak what happened if Adora escaped. We can try and finish her off… It will be more and more dangerous, but it makes sense from a tactical standpoint… That… And the longer we wait? The more will die… I'm not in a mood to see more and more people die unless it's to be securing our victory and if their enemy warriors." Brennus stated, only before looking upwards.
It seemed to be as all now before now, it seemed to be a problem. Catra seemed to be more and more of a problem before now and looked upwards before now as looking upwards and looking upwards.
Still? Brennus could only find it to be done with if their enemies were defeated.
