Wulf appeared out of the wreckage of the destroyed RV but came to a halt when he was shocked by the collar, now being controlled by Bullet, who's with two guards behind him.

"You're using the collar? Walker said-" one guard spoke up but Bullet interrupted him.

"Walker isn't here!" he shouted and then noticed that their target had started to run away again. "Get him!"

Danny and Lina exchanged a look and gave a nod, before turning to their friends.

"If anybody asks where we are, lie." He said as the two siblings rushed for the nearest tree.

They hid behind it and Danny was about to shout for his transformation but Lina placed her hand over his mouth. He was shocked for a moment before he also noticed what she did. Jazz was hiding behind the same tree.

"Danny, Lina. Hi. Are you hiding here?" she paused awkwardly. "I'll go hide over there" she ran away.

The duo exchanged a look of confusion but pushed everything aside as they had to focus. While Danny shouted to turn into his ghost form, Lina did it silently. She never understood why he had to keep doing that and despite all their tries, Danny could not transform without saying it out loud.

The duo started to fly side by side as they went after the guards and Bullet. Little did they know, Jack was targeting them with a weapon

"One blast and you'll find yourself teleported back to that empty little dimension you call home." The ghost hunter said as he kept his aim stable.

Jazz overheard him, being not that far away and she panicked. "Danny, Lina" she muttered and started to run towards Jack before messing up with his aim. "Uh, oops."

The two Halfa dodged the blast and it hit the two guards, which caused them to disappear. This made Danny glance behind him for a moment. "Whoa! Portable ghost portal? Oh great."

Lina nudged him with her elbow as once again they flew side by side. "Danny, look" she pointed at what was happening in front of them.

Bullet used a laser gun on Wulf's tail, which made him scream in pain and angered Lina greatly, causing her eyes to glow with red energy.

"You're big, you're hairy, and you're a ghost. But if Walker's goons are after you, you can't be all bad" Danny said.

Lina kept glaring at Bullet. "Go Danny," she said in a serious voice.

Danny glanced at her and gave a nod before he zipped past Bullet. It caused him to drop his guard for a moment and that gave Lina an opening. Red ectoplasmic energy was shot from her eyes and hit the ghost guard on the back, causing him to shout from pain and fall forward.

The male halfa took that time to free Wulff from the laser net and then focused on Bullet. He used his abilities at the same time as Lina released another attack from her eyes, causing a strong feeling of pain to hit the enemy, who immediately vanished from sight to protect himself.

Satisfied with unleashing their anger on him, the two siblings landed in front of Wulff. Danny extended his hand for him. "Friend?"

Wulf sniffed them for a moment before he licked them, causing the two of them to giggle. Jack, then, appeared from behind the bushes.

"Alright nobody moves" He pulled out the Fenton Fisher, but it was tangled up. "As soon as I get this thing untangled, you two beasties are going down." He turns his back and tries to untangle the hook. Lina could not help but shake her head in amusement.

"Don't worry. He's not much of a threat. Now if my mom were here, then we'd be in trouble" Danny explained to their new friend before a targeting laser dot appeared on the beast's head.

"Really?"

Maddie was targeting them and she wasted no time blasting at them. Lina reacted on instinct, sending another ectoplasmic energy from her eyes, which met the attack halfway and caused a small explosion. A cloud of smoke was created and she wasted no time pushing the other two. "Let's go, now!"

The Trio flew off quickly but not before Danny glanced down at his mother one last time. "Oh. Man. You are so not getting anything for Mother's Day. "

Lina could not help but roll her eyes. "You never remember to get her anything, to begin with, Danny" she reminded him.

Later that day, everyone had gathered at Tucker's house. It was the only place they could meet without any worries about being seen by anyone, especially with their latest team addition being with them.

"I think this is a really bad idea," Tucker commented, glancing at the werewolf ghost.

Sam rolled her eyes at his drama. "Well, he can't stay at their house. Not with it being Ghostkateer central."

Danny gave a nod. "Besides you are the only one of us who sort of understands him"

Lastly was Lina, who spoke. "Plus, we need to get that collar off him"

Sam tried touching Wulf's collar, but Wulf roared at her and tried to bite her, causing her to fall back into a chair.

Tucker looked at her. "He said not to touch that."

The Goth could not help the sarcasm that followed. "Really? I must have missed the subtext."

"I gotta get my Fenton Thermos out of my locker. In the meantime see if you can find out what Walker's up to." Danny said but before he could fly away, Lina grabbed his wrist.

"I am coming with you" she swallowed hard at the reminder of Walker but didn't show it. "Better be together in this one, you never know whom we might bump into"

Danny was about to protest but she gave him a face that showed she would not take a No for an answer. He ended up giving a nod of his head and she let go of his wrist before the duo exited by passing through the roof.

The two halfa entered the now deserted school of theirs and headed towards Danny's locker. The boy phased his hand through it and grabbed the thermos before pulling it out.

"We need to find a way and strap it on us or carry it, in case we ever need it" she suggested as she levitated next to him.

"Yeah…" he said and they were about to leave when their ghost senses went off as they heard Dash nearby.

"Okay, listen up!" he said and the duo peeked inside the room, to see the jock talking Mr Lancer, Principal Ishiyama, Paulina, and several other students and faculty. The room was surrounded by torches with blue flames, adding a creepy vibe to this mysterious meeting. "Is everybody clear with the plan?"

Paulina gave a nod. "Yes, yes, it should all go down tomorrow after the town meeting."

The two siblings looked at one another. "The town meeting?" they asked at the same time before Danny transformed into a human. Lina tried to stop him but failed and she was forced to do the same, to catch up to him as he walked into the room.

She could not do anything in ghost form, considering all the people present could see this as her attacking Danny. Yet, she had a very bad feeling in her guts. She grabbed his wrist once again, it had started to become a thing lately by the looks of it. "What town meeting?" he asked.

"Leave it, Danny" she hissed and tried to pull him towards the door only for a student to close it before she could leave.

She frowned her eyes and felt even more uneasy. In seconds, someone grabbed her by her shirt and held her up to the blackboard. She looked at the attacker, seeing Dash being the one holding her as Kwan similarly held Danny.

This shocked the female, since Dash barely ever acknowledged her in real life, let alone lay a hand on her. Realization soon came as someone phased through Dash, their grip went around her neck and squeezed. Her red eyes doubled in size and pure fear as the grip increased even more. She started to panic and tried to claw his hand but she barely did any damage.

Danny was less shocked than her, his jaw had dropped. "Walker?"

"Gotcha, punks," he said and laughed evilly as many of his guards appeared in the room.

The male halfa noticed the scared and struggling Lina, remembering what had taken place back in the prison. "Let her go!"

Walker was not phased by his shouts. He kept his grip just enough to cut some of her air intakes but not too much to make her pass out. He owned her for what she did to him and her defiance and spirit were always the one thing he wanted nothing more than to break. Kwan brought Danny closer to Lina as his boss leaned closer to the duo.

"How does it feel? No place to run. No place to hide. I'm gonna turn your whole world against you, and by the time I'm done, you're gonna beg for the safety of my prison. In the Ghost Zone, where you belong."

"N-no..!" Lina stuttered as she kept fighting his grip around her neck, the mere idea of his plan made her find a new strength to fight him and overcome her sudden fear.

In her struggle, she drew the attention of Kwan too and gave an opening for Danny to transform and blast the jock off him. He then did the same to Walker, who did not manage to react in time and was thrown to the side.

Lina was freed and she started to rub her throat while coughing. She managed, however, to turn back into ghost form as Danny grabbed her wrist and pulled her away; phasing through walls and the ceiling to escape.

The guards all possessed someone and Walker returned to Dash before they all flew after the duo.

In the meantime, the two Halfa had stopped for a moment to catch their breaths and think. They waited right outside of the school.

"No matter what, we got each other's back," Danny said and Lina gave a nod as she focused.

"Yeah…they can't take us down if we are together," she said as they waited.

Just on cue, Dash floated outside of the school. Quickly exchanging a look, the two Halfa charge and tackle Dash on a car parked just outside the Nasty Burger. The duo recovers just as the possessed Mr Lancer charges at them. He knocked Danny forward but his victory was short-lived as Lina punched him in the jaw and sent him flying back.

"Sorry, Mr Lancer" she muttered as she watched the possessed body of their teacher flying off.

She knew he did not deserve to be hit but at that moment, it was her and Danny or them. She had no choice and pushed any guilt she had away. She had to focus since the Principal had decided to attack them with an electrified grappling gun. It hit and shook both of them, making them kneel. Lina for a moment froze, remembering the prison and Walker but Danny only got pissed. He took the grapple and used it to toss the possessed principal into a water tower.

As Lina recovered, a possessed Paulina found the chance to grab Danny. "You can't get away from me!"

"Wow. I waited for all puberty for a girl to say that to me and now it's a complete bummer." He said and flew quickly before tossing her on a billboard.

Thankfully, all that ghost hunting had made both Halfa decent fighters. However, their current enemy was not ready to give up and they were getting out of ideas. Lina grabbed Danny's hand and quickly soared into the sky with him, heading for their house.

Danny was confused about why they were heading there for a moment but then his mind caught up and his eyes glowed with hope. "Ghost Shield!"

Lina gave a faint smirk as they reached the entrance of the house. The duo wasted no time and pressed a button on the side of the building at the same time. It activated a familiar green ghost shield that forced their pursuers to a halt and kept the duo protected.

They let out a sigh of relief and turned back into their human selves. Lina stared at the possessed Dash a little longer, feeling those cold eyes of Walker staring back at her. She was knocked back into reality by Danny, who nudged her to go into the house.

The next morning came before our heroes could process it. Both had passed out on the couch but only one of them had managed to get a decent sleep. While Danny was still laying on the couch, Lina was sitting on the floor next to him.

She had nightmares and didn't get the best of sleep, all while worrying about the ghost shield. She was afraid that just like in her nightmares, Walker would come at night and take them back into his prison.

Tired, she let out a sigh as Sam handed her a cup of tea. "Thanks" she muttered and took a few sips from the hot beverage.

Sam and Tucker had come not that long ago, not being affected by the shield. They all had decided not to wake Danny up for he needed it, by the looks of it. Especially after Lina told them of their adventure with Walker and the people he had let his guards possess. In return, they told her how Wulff was set free and then he left, which was the only thing that sounded good to her at the moment. At least, he could now escape from Walker and wouldn't have to wear that collar around his neck, which was shocking him by Walker's orders.

The faint groaning of someone waking up, made the trio look at their friend. Danny opened his eyes slowly, laying on his side. His vision cleared and he saw Lina looking at him from where she sat on the floor.

"Lina…? I fell asleep?" he questioned and she nodded. He then looked outside the window, seeing the familiar green dome still active. Then, his eyes searched for the clock. "It's 10:18!?"

Sam smirked and leaned more forward towards him. "Morning, Sleeping Beauty."

Danny was confused as his sleeping brain was trying to find an explanation. "How'd you guys get in? The shield's still up."

"Hey, it's a ghost shield, not a human shield." Tucker reminded him.

Danny pushed his upper body to be in a sitting position and stretched. "Walker's overshadowing everybody around me and Angel. I think he's trying to turn everyone in town against us."

"Well, that would explain this" Tucker said as he grabbed the remote.

Lina looked at him with a lifted white eyebrow, curious as to what he meant. The TV opened and the morning news report was shown, a live broadcast of the Mayor's speech.

"The speech…!" she exclaimed, remembering that the possessed Dash talked about that to the others.

"We only have one piece of business today: Defeating the ghosts that infest our town. And to do that, I'm calling for a vote to seed all ghost policing and security decisions" He held a picture of Maddie. "to Maddie Fenton. *His eyes suddenly glow red, and he shakes his head slightly* I mean Jack. *Holds up a picture of Jack* Jack Fenton. The completely competent Jack Fenton."

Jack cheered for himself. "There you go!" he looked at Maddie next to him, who was beyond frustrated.

"And we've located the ghosts responsible for all the terror inflicted on our town. " the Mayor continued and showed a picture of Danny and Lina in their ghost forms. "Those two"

Lina quickly grabbed the remote room Tucker and turned the TV off. She then pressed her head next to Danny's legs, feeling the need to just move to some desert island for the rest of her mutated half-dead life.

"You know, I have to say. As far as evil master plans go, this one's pretty thorough." Tucker said, wanting to lighten up the atmosphere but only earned a glare from Lina.

"It's not funny, Tucker. Not funny at all" she said with coldness in her voice. While usually, she put up with Tucker's jokes and sometimes she found the amusing, right now she was not in the mood for any of them.

Danny gave a nod, placing his hand on top of Lina's that was resting on his lap. "Angel is right. We are getting our butts kicked all over the place. At school, at home, and now this? We will be public ghost enemy number one & two!"

"Yeah but who do you think will be number one and who number two?" This time even Sam sent him a glare and smacked the back of his head. "Ouch, okay. I am sorry" he said and grabbed the Fenton Thermos from his backpack. "Here you go, buddy. You're gonna need this. Both of you"

Danny took it from him and looked at his friend as if he had grown a second head. "Are you nuts? If we leave this house, we are dead."

Sam looked at him with empathy, she could understand his reasoning but she also knew there were not many that could do this job. "Danny, Lina, you've got to do something. If you don't, who will?"

Lina grabbed the thermos from her brother and stood up. She looked at her friends as the familiar rings appeared around her waist before she was transformed into her ghost self. She almost snared at the idea of Walker, showing her sharp canines for a second.

"Danny, you stay here. I will deal with them"

This made her adopted brother stand up and block her way, before taking the thermos from her. She didn't protest nor did she hold resistance. He let out a sigh, not liking the idea of his sister going out at his place to protect him and risk getting injured or worse, taken.

He knew how Walker had a special target for her and he refused to let her go, not on her own at least. Asking her to stay back, would be out of the question for she would not allow him to go out alone. This left him with only one choice. He looked at his friend and nodded before looking at his sister.

"Let's do this"

She could not help but give a small smile, feeling already better knowing Danny would have her back. She would prefer him to stay out of trouble but the idea of phasing Walker and his guards alone, with their parents wanting to blast them down… was more complicated than she wanted to admit.
