Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.

RAW is WAR: 1/6/1998

George's pickup truck arrived in the parking lot of the Rosement Horizon in Chicago, Illinois. Originally he had the night off but Vince had called him after last night's house show, telling him to come to the arena tonight as he had an idea on what Bladewolf can do leading up to the King of the Ring PPV. George got out of his truck, reached in and pulled out a duffel bag containing his ring gear and he placed the strap over his right shoulder as he walked to the entrance door.

"Evening George." one of the receptionists at the door said as George nodded and entered, signing his name on a piece of paper to show he's been here tonight. As George walked through the arena, he made his first stop at the locker room where he greeted the guys like Paul (Triple H), Mark (Undertaker), Glenn (Kane), placed his duffel bag down before making his way in the direction of Vince's office...

Wherever the hell it was.

"Hey, you seen Vince's office?" George asked a backstage worker.

"Down the hall and on the left." The guy said, getting a nod of thanks as George made his way down the hallway and came up to a door with vince's name on it. George knocked on the door, waiting until he heard a 'come in' and entered to see Vince at his desk.

"Ah George, glad you could make it." Vince smiled. "Have a seat."

"So, why did you want me here? i had the night off." George said as he sat down and looked at his boss.

"Originally. But I had an idea. You see, the fans are loving you ever since you debuted here at SummerSlam last year. You are continuing to establish a fan base and I originally wanted you to make a Heel turn but decided not to. You are now Intercontinental Champion but I think there's one more thing you can do that will get the fans completely over with you."

"And that is?" George asked with a raised eyebrow.

"How would you like to participate in the King of the Ring tournament?"

On screen

RAW is WAR was live at the Rosement Horizon in Chicago, Illinois. the upcoming match was the first of the 1998 King of the Ring tournament. It as jeff Jarrett against a mystery opponent. Jarrett did not know who he was facing tonight but had arrogantly bragged before coming out that whoever it was, he'll beat them and go on to win the King of the Ring tournament. Right now, Jarrett and Tennessee Lee were in the ring, waiting.

"Come on!" Jarrett was shouting. "Bring him out here! I'll beat him anyway!"

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf by Jim Johnston plays to a loud pop from the fans and the lights dim to a mix of blood red and dark blue before fire explodes on the stage and out comes the Bladewolf to a loud pop from the fans. He had the WWF Intercontinental Championship around his waist and was back to wearing his long hooded, leather trench coat.

"Jeff, might be a good time for you to become a missing person." JR chuckled as Jeff Jarrett had paled upon hearing the wolf howl and had went as white as a ghost upon seeing the Bladewolf coming out.

"This is not gonna be good." Jerry said with a head shake as Bladewolf makes his way down to the ring. "Now Jeff's dreams of being king of the Ring is gonna go up in smoke!"

"Jeff Jarrett is gonna face a demonic monster that has no regard, no compassion, no mercy for anyone he faces." JR said. "I doubt Bladewolf has any respect for anyone."

Bladewolf gets onto the ring apron, staring straight at Jarrett behind those dark eyes of his. He climbed over the top rope and into the ring before taking off his trench coat and dumps it out the ring, then takes off the Intercontinental Championship which he hands to someone at ringside as his theme died down and the lights return to normal.

The referee looks between both men and is about to call for the bell when Jarrett demands a microphone, which he is given. "Hold on, now, I ain't gonna face against that Demon from hell. But seeing that gold around your waist gave me an idea. I'll face you right now, if you put your Intercontinental title on the line. Not only will I beat this Demon Dog and make my way further to being king of the world, but I'll be the king with gold as I become a 3-time Intercontinental Champion. What do you say?"

"Jarrett wants the title on the line?" Jerry asked, surprised.

"Don't know if that's smart or..." JR trailed off as Bladewolf nods yes. "But Bladewolf accepts! Now the Intercontinental Championship is on the line!"

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Right off the bat, jarrett runs at Bladewolf in an attempt to throw him off with the surprise charge but Bladewolf just gave a big boot to Jarrett's face, flooring him.

"What a boot." JR said. "Jeff Jarrett tried to throw Bladewolf off there, but Bladewolf wasn't easily fooled."

Jarrett stumbles to his feet and turns around only to be lifted up... AND HIT WITH THE FURY OF THE WOLF! BLADEWOLF HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! BLADEWOLF BEATS JEFF JARRETT!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"Well, that was quick." Jerry remarked.

The Devil's Wolf plays as Bladewolf gets to his feet and flips his hair back. "Here is your winner and STILL WWF Intercontinental Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.

"Bladewolf advances in the King of the Ring tournament. He will face Marc Mero in the Quarterfinals." JR said as Bladewolf leaves the ring, his title in hand, and starts walking up to the back while Jarrett is checked on by Tennessee Lee...

And that's it for this chapter. I decided to have Bladewolf in the King of the Ring tournament and remain a Face, because a reviewer was right that Bladewolf should remain Face just now. Besides, I may have him turn Heel in 1999.
